This is the 4th Black Catalogue release. "Through The Galaxies." was originally released on the 'Modern Underground Music' sampler. This version is a full release with some great remixes....by both Lucy from Stroboscopic and Shigeto from Ghostly. These mixes are fantastic, and really show a nice array of sounds. I decided to add a dub version inna future dub stylee, too. I hope you enjoy it!

SKYMARK an old passionate of soul, brazilian music, jazz and obscure disco from the mid 60's till the mid 80's. Thanx to his older brothers he have been exposed to these kinds of music since my childhood.
He have been spending most of his spare time practising on the keys and listening to records in search of the soulfull waves that give he the goosebumps and red eyes.
he started recording music since late 2005, some rap, deep house, disco influenced productions. Nowadays he is a bit disconnected from electronic music and i am preparing a kind of brazilian jazz influenced album.
He dont have a specifiq musical genre, He just record what comes out of my soul depending the moment.
Skymark is a very appreciate from artists like : Theo Parrish, MoodyMann and a all the underground music lovers.

Following his breakthrough release on cult Bristol label Happy Skulls, which carried a tearing Funkineven remix,Adjowa marks his second release of the year with a slamming addition to the DBA DUBS series. Beautiful Swimmers' own Max D (known to his friends, but perhaps not his family, as Maximillion Dunbar), contributes the compulsory US remix on the flip, drawing on the grime, jungle and breakbeat hardcore tropes to create a truly otherworldly banger.

Hailing from Mexico City with a sharply-defined approach to techno and house music, Nicolas Guerrero's sinuously constructed tapestries as White Visitation first attracted our attention with his deft use of acoustic samples and patient, innately focused style. WV joins Styles Upon Styles for his debut vinyl release, Ancestors.


"Permanent Swing" provides a dramatic welcome to the EP, marrying echoing synth chords to a host of distant voices and sleepwalking rhythms. Caught in a threateningly comfortable state of sleep-deprived consciousness, WV weaves the momentum of A1 straight into the rumbling kick drums of "Home" to stirring effect. A sensuously looped guitar sample filters in and out of view while percussion and washes of plaintively played synthesizer layer slowly, brick-by-brick, over the track's thundering chassis of sub-kicks.

Hotflush presents the return of Sigha with a new EP entitled 'Abstractions I-IV', his sixth on the label. On this release he reaches into darker territory, beginning with a beatless, ambient suspension, drawing the listener in his submerged sonic sphere before dropping into a series of chilling compositions that seem to seethe and smolder at sub-zero temperatures, adorned with haunting electronic blips and synthetic machinations throughout. Having already gathered support from many figures in the electronic world over the last year including Marcel Dettmann, Brendon Moeller and Francois K, as well as making appearances on Scuba's recent DJ-KICKS mix compilation with 'Where I Come To Forget' amongst others, James Shaw continues to make his mark with 'Abstractions'.

Jorge Bule , The Iberian artist ushers in dubby basslines but drowns them in shards of metal. You would be forgiven for thinking this was Dub Techno, or even Electronica. Epic_Deep

The label founder Hunab, moulds complex compositions of swimming soundscapes. Twinkling melodies are supported by cymbals and broad bass. A longing gaze back to the structures of Electronica is linked with smudges of Dub and Industrial to produce a hazy and soulful sound.

DVILLE is a return to a sacred recording place, Omniscient Recording Studios first in Berkeley and now in Oakland, California and a collaboration between long time friends Matt Nee and Josh Tonnissen as KOMPVTE and inspired by natural beauty and open air mountaintop festivals. The sound itself is live analog bass tones and subliminal melodica with a hard futuristic beat.

The first track is based on dry kickdrums coming up on a massive
sub-bass and distorted dub-chords. Alongside Mr. Brendon
Moeller aka Echologist joins with his massive 'Filthy Dub' version
of the original and Stefano Infusino turns all into a hypnotic
industrial tech-style. The second track fills the listeners ears with
some psychotic vocals surrounded by edged hihats and snares
combined with raspy and harsh synthies. Last but not least
Cromosom002.3 is created on a high volume sub-kick with epic
chord-delays ... enjoy

Hinter Plasmic Shape versteckt sich Diametral und Cromosom Gründer Matthias Springer und er eröffnet mit "Cromosom002.1" direkt einen massiven Mix aus trockenen Kickdrums, abgrundtiefen Sublines und rauen, verzerrten Detroit-Chords mit epischem Charakter. Anbei als Remixer gibt es Echologist der eine exzellente, experimentelle Dub-Tech-Interpretation abliefert und Stefano Infusino der sich auf den hypnotisch monotonen Weg begibt. "Cromosom002.2" ist dann wirklich brachialer und ungeschönter Techno basierend auf einem fast schon dämonisch wirkenden Vocal-Loop. Als digitalen Bonus gibt es noch "Cromosom002.3" , ebenfalls abgrundtiefer industrieller Techno gepaart mit diversen Dub-Elementen. Definitiv ein Sound den es kein zweites Mal gibt, abseits vom Mainstream, einprägsam und mit Sicherheit mehr als nur wirkungsvoll.

Memento is really happy to present its 008 release, inviting a couple of guys with big shoulders in the electronic scene: Lee Van Dowski at the control andIlario Alicante as a remixer.
The first thing we loved approaching to these tracks was that the guys were going very far from the street where they usually walk safe; of course you will recognize the touch of them (fortunately!), but we're sure you'll be surprised exactly like us.
The first track "The Old Faithful" is an endless journey from the darkness into light and viceversa, and seems to continues forever. It starts with a very solid groove, percussive and massive, then it cames slowly a pad that brings us to some safe lands together with an acid delayed synth who allows the track to take off with a very sweet and subtle trancey atmosphere. When you think the track is about to finish, here's the main lead synth who slowly takes the control, taking your hand till the end of the track.
The Ilario Alicante's interpretation of this track is a great example of darky witch elegant techno, full of surprises, sudden voices and reversed sounds surround you in every moment supported by some delightful hi hats and a subtle scary groove.

Which is second track "L'Hotel Cherif" Lee goes directly to your stomach.
Kick and bass start in a very self confident way, together with an hi hats riff who makes you think that something very exciting is about to happen. In fact a twisted melodic synth starts his chant giving to the track an epic attitude.
The synth keep on his way opening the cut off and bringing us to the break, where some crazy claps announce the peak.
The Ilario "floor mix" of this track is a dangerous weapon. Techno at his best, hypnotic and emotional, dreamy but solid, where the leading role of the very old school anagogic hats will make you jump!
