Italy's heavy dub producer Eraldo Bernocchi is not a new face to the scene. Starting out his career in the 90s, Bernocchi produced under many aliases. ... But it is the works under his real name that deserve the most attention. In 1999 he released Charged recording with Tashinori Kondo and Bill Laswell. In 2005 he appeared alongside Harold Budd in Music For 'Fragments From The Inside' on Sub Rosa. And in 2007 he recorded Manual together with Thomas Fehlmann for 21st Records. There are also numerous EPs with Bill Laswell under Apollo's Re-charged series....

Blackfilm, who continues to remain anonymous, is a Hungarian artist that was first introduced to us through his self-titled debut on the now defunct Spectraliquid Records. Since then, the album has been picked up by Denovali Records and repressed in 2010 on compact disc and vinyl. His dark atmospheric soundscapes and a bricolage of modern classical samples and instrumental hip-hop beats reminded me of my favorite works by Amon Tobin and Future Sound of London, for a brooding soundtrack enveloping your mind with heavy fog of penetrating sound. Tokyo's DJ and producer Hironori Takahashi has released music on many underground Techno labels such as ACONITO, INFORMA, CHRONICLE, SHAPELESS, AIMERSSE . ORG, SEMANTICA and STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS. Hironori grew up in Morioka, Iwate prefecture in Japan, where he encountered Techno and House music, before moving to Tokyo to work at the legendary Disk Union record store. Hironori creates his music under the influence of his mental and physical experiences to create new experiments of sound. This limited vinyl only 12" is the first output of the brand new Verse label out of Tokyo.

After the first release, "Narwal-Nirvana", Ongehoord comes with a 2nd release. Featuring more material from the Dutch cassette culture! Big tip.. The band Deadline Paranoia has been active in Amsterdam from 86 till 88. They have released 4 albums in small quantities. Their music was made and recorded at home with a great variety of instruments. This release is the first of a series of 3 records that will feature the essence of this band. The mastering is done by Brandenburg Mastering to ensure a high quality listening. Niels van Tomme (director of arts institute De Appel) has written the liner notes. The music has been carefully curated by Jeroen Vermandere while being in touch with the artists who worked on the project. Anton Westbom Weflo makes the graphic design for the Deadline Paranoia Releases, tracks compiled by label curator Jeroen Vermandere.

Greek producer Fluxion returns to Danish imprint Echocord in January with his 'Upsides & Sideways EP', comprising three original productions.
The Athens-based artist has spent nearly two decades
honing his craft both on stage through his live improvised performances and in the studio, producing records for the likes of Chain Reaction, Vibrant Music and Subwax Bcn.
Copenhagen's Echocord has consistently delivered high quality dub techno from the likes of Roberto Clementi, Brendon Moeller and Luke Hess since its inception in 2001 and now Fluxion returns with his twelfth outing on the label with his latest material.
Fluxion opens with 'En route', employing sharp percussive foundations, white noise atmospheres and haunting chord rogressions which evolve throughout the track before 'The Place' offers dubbed out synthesiser motifs and glitching arpeggios which are underpinned by echoing drums and a subtle bass melody. 'Flick' then closes out the release with spacey synth riffs developing over groove-led percussion and a warm, distorted low-end.

The third 12-inch record by Native Response is here. NR003: Ornithogallum EP by Human Space Machine. This time the record's significantly more focused towards the dance floor, blending functional techno grooves with cosmic synths and arpeggios.

Human Space Machine is part of the Native Response crew, and makes his debut release on the imprint. On remix duty this time is the almighty Eduardo De La Calle.

A1: DRMSH1. This one-take jam immediately encapsulates the sound of Human Space Machine. Strong impressive techno that takes on a hypnotising quality and remains classy and controlled at the same time. The live tweaking of the lead synth and hi-hats make it sound like you're in the middle of a tripped out liveset at 5:00 AM.

A2: SFR5. This record starts off with a strong percussive groove and equally hypnotising bass line to lose yourself into. Neatly developing into a classic sounding Detroit record, the pads and polyryhthmical arpeggio are guaranteed to make you forget whether you're clubbing for hours or days. Halfway a pushing hi-hat makes everything downright party. Club killer, killer club track.

B1: RN2GLM. A haunting pad slides in, confusing the listener and setting a dark but inviting atmosphere. Playful drum machine patterns start grooving together with a sensual bassline that's sure to create a mayhem in the club. The lead synth creeps in and opens up, showing you that weirdness doesn't have to give in to functionality. One for the more daring DJ's that choose to explore instead of stay safe in the standard techno dogma.

B2: RN2GLM - Eduarde De La Calle Response. Do we really need to say something about Eduardo Delivering a monstrous techno banger, Eduardo De La Calle remixes RN2GLM as a giant closer for Native Response's third release. Starting off with a raw sounding bass drum, haunting pad sound and percussive synth groove, the remix grows to absolute peak time drum machine madness. Must have for every closing DJ.

Mental Overdrive, Norwegian gran ol wizard of techno, owner of Love OD Communications starts of with 'Clocked', a colorful and moody track with a touch of grittyness. Thomas Urv, Ploink Label head and one of Norwegian techno's main protagonists, brings a signature raw high energy techno track '6.24 Con Dao'. Per Hammar, Swedish producer and DJ based in Berlin, the captain behind Dirty Hands and 10Years labels delivers a steady dubbed hypnotic house track 'Blank Space'. Thomas Skjaerstad from Trysil, Norwegian winner of Burn Residency 2017 finishes the EP with a punchy, dark spaced out techno track titled 'Space X (Sommeroya Edit)'.

Mika Vainio and Franck Vigroux's brutal yet filigree electronics hauntingly come to light in 'Ignis', which finally discloses the further, etheric results of recording sessions that made up their 'Peau Froide, Léger Soleil' album in 2014, their celebrated previous collaboration for Cosmo Rhythmatic.Posthumously issued following Mika's untimely death in 2017, Ignis taps into the pair's mutual respect for unsound and proprioceptive allusion, operating at liminal levels of tonal and spatial perception in a six track LP that leaves the project with a sense of unresolved tension.
Since Mika Vainio's seminal Pan Sonic group with Ilpo Väisänen ceased service in 2009, Mika found one of his sharpest foils in French multi-instrumentalist Franck Vigroux. They embarked
on a lengthy creative process, articulated through studio and live performances, resulting in the powerful Peau Froide, Léger Soleil album and stacks of further recordings planned for a 2nd release.
The end results of their efforts are collected on Ignis, a set of six parts paying tribute to a mutual fascination with what lies at and beyond the threshold of sonic comprehension. Where their
previous effort traded in a mix of colossal, pendulous industrial funk and abyss-baiting doom, this follow-up fully embraces the void in all its glorious mystery.
From a trail of icy bleeps, Brume lures us into cathedral-like ice cave dimensions with breathtaking cinematic effect, before the antechamber of Ne te retourne pas highlights those supposed dimensions with streaks of phosphorescing light to much more paranoid, imposing degrees, before calving off into the mechanical jaws of Luxure.
Deep in the beast's mouth, Vigroux bleats a forlorn vocoder message on Un peu après le soleil, and their Luceat lux gives rise to their most extreme, dynamic frequency massages, for Feux to wrap up the trip in a barbed wire bouquet of ravishing distortion.

Ljudverket celebrates the tenth release of the imprint with music by Rasmus Hedlund. Intet Efter Allt is the result of new explorations in the field of ambient, dub and techno. Crossing borders with electro and other genres, the tracks are still sonically faithful to the sound of Ljudverket - highly organic synthesis accompanied by field recordings. The record starts off like a journey through nature. The thunder and rain of Bas Emfas shifts to blue skies above shimmering water with Lumino¨s Klang. Continuing on the flip side with the cerebral jam Konflux Sekvens, the EP ends in the deep emotions of Sonisk Morgonsyn, to finish the trip

After a two year hiatus Graded is back with label founder Midland at the controls and its been worth the wait. Graded003 picks up where Midland's 2013 Drumtrak left off, left of centre club music for warehouses and basements alike. The A-side 'Blush' first aired during a particularly warm Boiler Room recording in Milan last summer. It turned heads on the night and has garnered endless ID requests on the recording ever since. Stuttering rolling percussion and a synth line as bold as it is unusual make this one a very strong club tool. On the B-side 'Outpost' and 'Holdup' take a deeper turn, rich in suspense and expertly programmed drums, they're unmistakably Midland productions drawn from the more obscure corners of his sound pallet.

Delsin's reissue arm once again looks to the revered back catalogue of Lost Trax for a second 12" that picks out the best of the anonymous collective's work. The EP features five cuts taken from two highly sought after EPs released on Tabernacle Records in 2011 and 2012. 'The Eye' opens things up with punchy drum programming and the sort of sci-fi effects and synths that immediately take you to a future intergalactic world. It's a weighty but emotional opener, while 'Pulp' is more twisted and urgent, with warped synth sounds and busy, bristling drums and perc all building pressure throughout. 'The Forest' resets the mood with mystic synths and mysterious atmospheres that mix ambient beauty with suggestive skeletal beats. 'B01' then canes through the cosmos on a Detroit electro tip with slithers of synth, swollen pads and crisp hits and 'Dominion' rounds things out in hurried fashion. The restless electro drums pound away as prickly snares and cymbals, blurts of machine noise and sweeping pads all wrestle for attention and keep you on your toes. This is high octane electro and techno designed with metallic precision but oozing plenty of human feelings.

Second outing on the label from LA's GB (Gifted & Blessed), this time on 12 inch. Following on from his recent Provider 12 this is another great showcase of his ever-developing sound styles. 2 tracks here with 7 in 24 a dense 808 led up-tempo workout with a hypnotic groove while on the flip 'Dogon' is a techno-electro hybrid with a nod to the pre-millennium Motor City sound.
The rest of it is All City standard - full one off colour art - this time from Brighton's Roid (MSK) - shrink wrapped and with a download code.

STEP is the new vinyl-only label from the founders of PETS " Catz n Dogz " with a focus on the rawest forms and root functions of dance music. STEP searches for the fundamentals with under-theradar house and techno that's not afraid to be rough around the edges. It's all about the music.

The heavy pulse of sound systems synchronizes with the precision of musique concre`te and the reconstructed memory of a masked folk dance of the Swiss mountains. Techno, drum 'n' bass and dub are echoed within this sonic processional, where samples are pulled apart and recycled, cut at the beginning and end, then linked together. Tresque takes his name from an open-chain circle dance from medieval southern Europe. Under the musical moniker d'Incise he has played on numerous solo and collaborative projects with Cyril Bondi, designing quiet, intensive listening experiences with various combinations of software, recordings from vinyl or in the field, modified objects, percussion and harmonium. As Tresque the delicate minimalism he's known for takes shape within driving grooves. Airy, spacious, amplified noise from his collection of samples is sliced and tethered to weightier, physical beats. A tension forms between uplift and downfall, hypnotically oscillating between structural textures and collective dance.

Molten Moods releases another finely curated various artists record with tracks by Skee Mask, Kessel Vale, Jonas Yamer and Konrad Wehrmeister. Kessel Vales opening track Voguing Geisha' is an unconventional breakbeat masterpiece following his sense of harmony and rhythm already shown through previous releases on Tanstaafl Records and Rhythm Nation. As the track unfolds it reveals musical storytelling by integrating a technoid polyrhythmic loop structure into melodic synth figures, slowly deconstructing in the end. Skee Mask collaborated with Molten Moods labelhead and Carl Gari member Jonas Yamer on Fanta Ocean', it being the first release ever outside of his Ilian Tape homebase. The outcome is a moody IDM piece with cinematic qualities, complex but soothing. The B-Side begins with Xenomorph' by Konrad Wehrmeister, who is known by his releases on Public Possession and SVS Records. This trancy yet distorted and detailed electro banger surely takes on the role of the records dancefloor highlight. The closing track Insgeheim' is delivered by Molten Moods head honcho Jonas Yamer. Here groovy kicks, distorted chords and a psychedelic pad are woven into one compelling 10 am techno track. The common thread of Molten Moods 4 is four young Munich artists going on a joint trip into idiosyncratic electronic music. The resulting tracks intertwine as one modern and diverse techno record. Out on 12 vinyl and wav by the end of March 2018. In the tradition of Molten Moods' cost-conscious design strategies by Paul Bernhard, the record comes with a xeroxed low budget sticker set.

Yagya's Rigning album from 2009 is the Icelandic producer's most acclaimed dub, techno and minimal masterpiece. Due to popular demand, Delsin are now re-issuing it across three slabs of vinyl. Previously only available as a double pack with eight tracks, the new re-mastered version features all 10 of the tracks from the original CD. Gumundsson has been making music for years both solo and as part of the Thule Musik collective. He is an album specialist who has worked as Yagya since 2002 and has put out six albums since then. They come on labels like Force Inc and Sending Orbs - where Rigning was first released - and manage to be both absorbing and detailed yet suitable for relaxing background listening. His last two albums, Sleepygirls (2014) and Stars & Dust (2016) appeared on Delsin Records. Rigning is essentially one long track split into movements. It depicts a city sleeping as gentle rain falls and dubbed out grooves zone you out. Yagya's style is always patient and slow burning, his grooves are long and drawn out and his pads reach up into the heavens. This whole album in coated in a warm fuzz and is a real comfort on dark, long, cold nights. As insular and melancholic as it is, there is also plenty of beauty in the melodies and delicate keys. From dark and gloomy to more optimistic and meditative, there is a sophistication throughout this always cinematic album that continues to make it stand out nearly a decade after it was first released.

Taking Place In The Foyer was originally released in a run of just 14 copies on double tape back in 2012 and is now available on vinyl for the first time as part of the ongoing Rainforest Spiritual
Enslavement reissue series.
The newly remastered, first and last ever vinyl cut of Taking Place In The Foyer forms the penultimate instalment in Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement's necessary reissue scheme. Originally
appearing second in the series, it then served to only heighten the enigma of a project which was, as yet, undisclosed as the work of Dominick Fernow, who's maybe best known for his transgressive Prurient output, and the Muslimgauze-inspired rhythmic reportage of Vatican Shadow, as well as overseeing the ever Hospital Productions imprint.
On its original release, each of RSE's hand-duplicated and super limited tape editions were rabidly devoured by Hospital Productions disciples with little or no firm knowledge of the project's provenance, this one included. Understandably they became coveted items for hardcore disciples and new admissions to the label's occult mass alike, often fetching multiples of the original retail price on the 2nd hand market.
Taking Place In The Foyer is among the most cherished of the early RSE instalments. Following and diverging his unheimlich path, these four tracks find Fernow broadening his temporal scope and entrenching the spirits farther from home, covering bleaker terrain with the trudging momentum and shuddering conclusion of Spot A Witch By Changes In The Person's Behaviour, whereas In New Guinea Police Don't Have The Petrol Money To Search For The Witch Murderers locates him toiling
aleatoric at some dank workshop, and the unanswered CB radio crackle of Bodies Of Suspected Witches Are Dumped In The River Or Buried In Toilet Pits sets up the petrifying closing scene
of Sorcery Killings.
RSE can be taken as a minimal, supernatural-focussed adjunct to Vatican Shadow's war commentary, invoking a more abstract, visceral and haptic sound, leaving us stranded in a tropical-rain streaked AR soundscape....

ESHU, the production collective and record label from Nijmegen are back with their next offering. Their 12th release is a various artists release that features BLM, Jburg and Steven Siwalette alongside label members Ivano Tetelepta and Jocelyn Abell. It comes on the heels of Tetelepta's absorbing dub techno album, Senang, and is another high class offering. Nijmegen based Siwalette is first, previously contributed to the label as part of SYS. His Stragglers is a sparse but atmospheric track with industrial drones and slowly turning drums taking you through a desolate factory late at night. His second offering is Alien Encounter which is just as it sounds - a spooky, unsettling bit of cinematic sound design with menacing bass and icy pads all growing in loudness until they eventually consume your mind. Lastly on the A-side, UK producer and Fear of Flying label boss BLM lays down a skeletal groove that's embellished with beautiful, yawning synths. Scattered little details and fx making this a cavernous piece that encourages your mind to wander and get lost. On the flip, Jocelyn Abell and Ivano Tetelepta cook up a heavyweight, mid tempo bit of dub techno with sharp hits and rolling kicks lulling you into a trance. Last of all, the emerging Jburg picks up the pace with a perfectly chiselled bit of rock solid dub with looping drums and icy hi hats sinking you deep into its midst. This is an excellent EP that packs in a range of fascinating sounds for both the home and the club.

For release number 16 on De:tuned Stefan Robbers aka Terrace steps up to the plate. The veteran and well-respected Dutch producer from the city of Eindhoven unleashes four brand new techno tracks with a strong Detroit DNA for the discerning dancefloors. It's everything you'd expect from a Terrace release: a crisp and warm analogue sound with plenty of melody and groove, dubby undertones and fat chords. The icing on the cake is the optical themed artwork created by designer Openmind (aka Strictly Kev, DJ Food, Ninja Tune). As per usual Matt Colton from Alchemy Mastering reworked the source material to guarantee a flawless listening experience. This release will be available on 180 gr vinyl. A digital release will also be available from all the usual outlets. Stay tuned!

We have a choice.

Sourcing their inspiration from the many shades of color that co-exist on between black and white on the great designer's palette, it is through their open and eclectic selections that Possible Futures turn dancefloors into spaces of self-discovery and transcendance.
On the heels of two grainy cuts by Leonel, Possible Futures is proud to present this second recording - another therapeutic blend for self-discovery and restorarive motion. Slang is a new perspective on the rich collaborative e orts that unite DJ Deep & Roman Poncet.
Over the last two years, their studio work has resulted in an eclectic myriad of productions. May it be on Rekids, on Tresor Records as Adventice, on Desire as Sergie Rezza and now
as Slang, their music is always unfamiliar and far-reaching into di erent sources of inspiration.
Afro percussions, dubbed out processing, field recordings and house chords come together under the form of these poems, contemplative at times and measured at others.

After being in the reggae band the Heavymanners (parted in 2009) led by Takeshi Heavy' Akimoto, and participating as a supporting member of DRY&HEAVY after which the band reunited with the original rhythm section, Sahara (keyboard/programming) and Ohkuma, who worked as the drummer of Soul Dimension, started the dub unit Undefined. It is no exaggeration to say they have pushed the variously formatted term of dub' to the far shore experimentally and furthermore, liberated the definition of dub to undefined.' Their debut 7inch vinyl released in March last year from their own label Newdubhall is being well received even overseas and in the spring of 2018, this 10inch vinyl New Culture Days' will be out, which will be their second release.

New Culture Days' was co-composed with Kazufumi Kodama. It goes without saying that he is the one who has been continuing to pursue dub, through Mute Beat, the originator band of this country and also under his own name.While citing sound texture like techno-infused minimal dub, Undefined' s track dashes on a trackless road. And there is the trumpet of Kodama, who has also been giving sympathy to minimal dub since the late 90s. A trumpet that draws a vivid line on monochromatic aspect, flickering sounds of drum and bass, and the third lead that represents this work awaits at the far end of the echo. It is mu,' in another words, nothingness.

Just as the stars are floating in the urban night sky, the sound is lonesome yet bold and bright and the jet-black darkness lingers. An aggressive bass and effective sounds: this track expresses the cream of dub music with its excessiveness and nothingness facing one another. This track did not come to reality without the deep understanding of these two dub seekers. Moreover, excluding covers, this is the first original track by Kodama in a long time.

Over the past several years, an electronic and experimental dub, which is diverse from so-called bass music and new roots, is being recognized again as one of the streams. It could be said that New Culture Days too, welcomes this sort of essence.

Pattern Repeat ready the next release on their self-titled label with two solid cuts of techno this May.

The project which was started back in 2009 by the two Danish producers, Dennis Bøg better known as Resoe, owner of Baum Records and its off shoot Baum Limited Picture Edition, and Kenneth Christiansen owner of Echocord Records. Each of their releases move into different realms of Techno,and have gained support from the upper echelons of dance music, from the likes of Rodhad, Levon Vincent, and Dario Zenker.

A crawling filtered synth opens '009A', murky kick drums and syncopated high-hats join it, to create a long winding warehouse melody, these are then exchanged for the hazy sounds of white noise of '009B' packed with cold eerie drones, that are met by charged hums that fizz away and bring the release to a close.

Subversive delivers a follow-up to last season's VRV release Chainbreaker, this time with two measured explorations of atmosphere and movement. The title track, Domestique, builds its drama around delayed synthesis, crafting a wash delayed environment that keeps a strong pace. Corosync emerges from a similar approach but intensifies the drum programming and strips away melodic layers. VRV label bosses Raíz rework Corosync with emphasis on thicker beat construction and synthesized psychedelia. All the tracks play on the best of the Detroit-Berlin connection and are primed for in-the-mix hypnosis.

Introducing a new outlet called Mojuba Jouem for a special project of a special artist. Jouem hailing
from the fantastic Berlin based imprint Just Another Beat graces Mojuba with a series of releases
called EPISODES to be seen as a whole conceptual piece of art. This talent gained a lot of attention
through his fabulous two releases Drifting EP and Levitation EP and is now back to continues his
musical journey!

The new Mojuba brings some fresh tunes from the always reliable Oracy. The title track 'Rewound' is a deep and warm excursion into the sound cosmos that was build on the heritage of Detroit and Chicago. The flipside is called 'Hold Me' and comes along as peak time cut with some hypnotic disco elements and a phat bassline to proof some serious floor qualities! That's how we like it!

Having released a number of tracks for on Level NO Zero, Cocoon, Escapism and Tanzbar, the german guy from Frankfurt, Matt Star finally breaks on our Rounqube Musik dropping his own EP after the appearance on the 2X12 Roundqube Family Anniversary. Radio EP is a crazy minimal microphunk four-tracker with 3 originals with precious bouncy remix of the main track reworked by the label ambassadors' Gabriele Carasco and Francesco Passantino.

The third release on Blanksheet. Two originals by Hedrome accompanied by a classic Skudge remix.

Alpenglühen, the Madrid-based monthly nights, focused in Ambient techno, emerges in September,2014, inspired by the film "Dogville" and the optical phenomenon happening when the last ray of sunshine slowly disappears over the mountains,

Now, with the moto "exploring the thin line between darkness and light", Alpenglühen, the label, is born, influenced by those sessions.

The first installment is produced by the duo, Pajaro Dune. A young project formed by two well known talented producers from Valencia, who gives us a promising kick off release. 4 highly crafted tracks which are somewhere between techno (in its deepest and atmospheric stage), contemporary music and impressionistic electronics.

Partially inspired on the research by Konstantin Batygin and Michael E. Brown on the evidence for a planet the size of Uranus between 200 and 1000 AU far away from the Sun. The titles of the tracks are all but one real objects of our Solar System whose movement is theoretically affected by the presence of a distant giant planet yet to be discovered.

The next Modern Hypnosis sees the first official vinyl release from Another Channel. The young German producer Jonas Schachners (Another Channel) has been at the fore front of the new wave of 'Dub Techno' that has been lurking in the underground over the last few years. His dubbed out analog sound has left some accrediting his productions as 'picking up where Rhythm & Sound left off'.

His debut 12' gives us two very unique tracks. The A side 'Lord 35' is an energetic synth driven tune which sitting at 135bpm, in a two-step style is made for the dance. The B side 'Corruption' sees an international connection with the original composition created in Germany by Another Channel, then the overdubbing of vocals supplied by Ethiopian vocalist Enushu Taye (The Black Jesus Experience) in her native Amharic, recorded and mixed by Mystik in his Melbourne studio. The warm analog stabs and punchy bassline accompanied with Enushu Taye's haunting vocals makes for a beautiful piece of music.

For the label's ninth release, Deep'a & Biri's Black Crow Records revisits one that helped establish the label's direction back in the imprint's first year. BCR003, 'Insular Realms' by fellow Israeli producer Hakimonu, was praised by many including Resident Advisor, who said the EP proved 'his off-kilter take on techno and house is as vibrant and inviting as ever". Now in 2017, Deep'a & Biri have invited Mind Against, Luigi Tozzi and Echologist (aka dub techno veteran Brendon Moeller) to all rework the original version of Insular Realms for 2017. First up are Life & Death's Mind Against, with one of the Fognini brothers most direct techno productions yet, with a mid-track moment of calm before the intensity resumes. Luigi Tozzi, the Rome-based producer who has had previous outings on Dynamic Reflection and Dino Sabatini's Outis Music, contributes the second remix. Taking the lead from the original's more ethereal moments, his version is dreamy & almost wistful as it propels along its shaking rhythm. The B-side offers two takes from Brendon Moeller in his Echologist guise, with a Dub mix that twists the original into an acid-inflected track that slowly ratchets up the tension over its seven minutes, while the Reshape breaks things down into a churning rhythm peppered with flashes f off kilter sonic details. Completing the package is a digital-only new rework by Hakimonu himself - a slowed down, marching rhythm that foregrounds Insular Realms's jazz influences with the addition of live brass instrumentation that compliment things wonderfully.

LumièresLaNuit (LLN) is glad to introduce to you to Samochai (LLNOFF004), 4th release of its OFF series by Bremen-based music composers and DJs Massud Matin & Smisou.

Samochai EP presents two different atmospheres that LumièresLaNuit and its OFF Series are particularly fond of: deep- and dub-techno. Indeed, whereas Massud Matin take us out of ourselves with the deep, atmospheric and mind-blowing beats of Zal, Smisou imm­­erses us in his musical world with the dubby, cadenced and aquatic beats of Chanj.

Massud Matin & Smisou celebrate the same music since 2012. The beginning of their collaboration was marked by a couple of digital releases like Smisou's remix of Massud Matin's Come On (2015) and his Keemun EP (2016) — in collaboration with Miynn — on Samani that also includes a remix by Massud Matin. More recently, Massud Matin & Smisou released Parand de Muth on Brosh records.

Finally, in December 2017, Massud Matin brought out his first vinyl EP Like You (TPRL03) on Romanian label Tupiar Records.

Our series Love Songs for Dragons welcomes a debut from the romanian artist Dragos Ungureanu, signing PFR003 with his Opus EP.

This new vinyl from Gynoid's sub-label Translucent is a strong dub techno EP from Kristian Heikkila featuring the lovely Petra Valej on moody vocals. Added are remixes from legendary Samuel L Session with a techy uplifting version, Advanced Human with a sharp, dubby techno version and to round off the release we also get a tooled up, instrumental dj edit. All sure ingredients that make this wax complete, dark and beautiful.

Newly established Berlin-based vinyl-only label Dreiklang dive straight into the physical world with First Contact. The label's distinctive triangular concept is reflected in its name with Dreiklang pursuing a three-fold approach to electronic music. Each release presents three contrasting takes on the same source material, juxtaposing and unifying three particular electronic music sub-currents. For their first outing, Dreiklang call upon an international team of producers with OCH, Hydergine and Kelovolt dropping in for their respective shots of tech-house, dub techno, and dark drone techno. The tight three-tracker will see the light of day on a 500 limited edition run of 180gr high-quality wax with the beautiful hand-drawn designs of Berlin artist Nils Altland gracing each sleeve, transforming the covers into individual works of arts. First up on Dreiklang001 is Londoner OCH (Autoreply / Stuga Musik), who takes a simple keyboard line into menacing territory, steering the dancefloor towards the grittier ends of tech-house. A funky bassline leads the way as distant synths exhale in glossy metalic fashion and the road is adequately paved for the reinterpretations that follow. Second up, comes Hydergine. The Italian producer lives up to his brain enhancement drug name by dropping a smart dub-techno rework where mind-numbing kicks bring the listener on an atmospheric joyride through the deeper ends of narcosis. Kelovolt complete the triangle with an immersive remix where drone-heavy soundscapes take center stage for a delicately hypnotic finale. First Contact is out December 16th on Dreiklang.

BleeD's second release of the year is a fourth solo outing for label head Volte-Face, following up last year's incendiary 'You Bury Me' 12". In classic BleeD fashion, the EP features three atmospheric peak-time techno tracks, an ambient piece and an artist-curated remix by rising Japanese star Wata Igarashi, a name synonymous with some of the finest off-centre techno labels, including Semantica, Time To Express and Midgar.

Fluxion's Ripple Effect is the film score for a non-existing motion picture. This 9-track album is the result of experimentation and the combination of the producer's two most cherished art forms: electronic music and score music.

Ironically the two worlds rarely seem to meet, despite the fact that score music has adopted a looser form in order to better adapt to film accompaniment, bringing it closer to electronic music which attempts to contradict form or shed it altogether. Fluxion felt the need to bring these two musical forms into dialogue with each other, lending structure to electronic and deconstructing score music to create a malleable and expressive hybrid.

The album's production took two years from its original conception for the subliminal story to unfold into the completed product. Fluxion wanted to say as much as possible through the music, leaving the visuals as a blank canvas for the listener to create their own story. In the end, the goal is to give each member of the audience a unique audiovisual experience based on their own perception and interpretation.

Throughout its musical journey ,Algorhythmic brought together many talented artists that shook the dancefloor with their sound. For this third release, the young and talented Dutch artist Pascal Benjamin joins our family with the four-track EP "Cosmic Horoscope". With remixes signed by Vincentiulian and Giash, the record promises to step up the club game thanks to the unearthly groove that these beats possess, which somehow manage to transcend the auditorium to a whole other sensorial world.

We welcome the vinyl format after a hiatus to embark into an energy-driven journey, full of potent, cross-genre tracks courtesy of Mr. Ben Cano.

Ben, which previously collaborated on this label as TenienteTuko, builds on the previous album-creating experience and he outdoes himself in multiple ways, keeping the variety of groove encompassing all together with his propelling signature techno ethos.

'Deep Snowmass' starts the EP in a harsh, mental way to induce rapidly to a dark feeling which leaves you in the void with a malleable conscience that allows your body and soul to float, with the help of an ever-building acidic bass and pulsating percussion.

'Rocky Mountain' goes to other heights, using a uplifting Rhodes chord and effective drum programming to deliver a dreamy wave of full potential.

'Between dub', 'hitch' and 'Tube 8' seal the deal with energetic, acid-infused and sometimes-housey takes from his recent live set, which he manages to reorganize in the track format we currently offer as black pressed acetate.

JJuan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald - the two indispensable protagonists of the Electric Garden - plug back into the wilderness. Transport - the new full length effort of the Borderland collaborative project - brings together a new set of studio-refined sequences aimed at colonizing some of the dark energy that pulsates through those areas that are thoroughly electrified, even if not 'on the grid'. 'Riod' is the first streak to bolt through.

The Detroit-Berlin axis triangulates to a third point which, like the atomic particle that lives in two places at once, flickers between a form of techno-charged ambience and a futuristic club-jazz which cannot be broken down into constitutive parts. Borderland remains caught in a state of enraptured stillness, invisibly moving between every
imagined future for electronic sound making. The result: a font from which springs serene and exhilarating musical ideas that vibrate with refined energy for sixty seconds in every minute.
