The VOITAX saga continues. The third record of the enigmatic label is drifting between the cutting edge of brain grinding vocal soundscapes and dark drone frequencies.

Volatil is a project made by Nicolás Hardmeier, born in Argentina and based in Barcelona. Electronic and d'n'b riddims meet reggae and ska elements, served by the cool flow of Federico. Add some dub sauce, and you'll get a unique recipe.

Manuel Tur and Langenberg (known for his releases on the nice Drum Poet Society label) dropping some delicious tracks on this powerful yellow wax! Deep and slowly building techno tracks that have their roots in the Basic Channel school, but taking things away from the dubby style and bring it back to the club. Dirty morphing synths combined with a warm steady beat create a awesome masculine groove with a lot of tension and a intense and controled energy. Amazing tracks for the club. Techno as it should be! Release no.4 for the mysterious Dense & Pika. 'Who Cares Wins' is another slice of grimey warehouse rawness, the kinetic drums and synths combing for a peak time cacophony of sound. Flipsides 'Morse Mode' ups the tempo whilst still keeping the duos signature rough vibe whilst 'Crackling' rounds things off nicely, more streamlined than the previous tracks with a touch of dub techno thrown in for good measure to make a brilliant end to a superbly balanced package.

The release number 12 on Giegling is a product of four individual tags of memories. Growing up in the same city Hannover the four producers Vril, Prince of Denmark, Leafar Legov and Herr Koreander share some part of a collective mind which led to this EP.

Easy Changes Supposed Dolls EP is a welcome slice of audio that remains in the sweet spot between clubby-booty-shake and avant-garde-sound-grenade. There's more emphasis on acoustic tones as the sound sources for their audio bending activities. Mojuba core member Nick Solé is ready to unleash his unique deep house power on the album format.
His debut LP entitled 'Flowers For You' will be ready within the next few months to hit the streets in
early summer. This release can be seen as a preamble to his debut and shows Nick going some new
ways in his sound universe, the first track was done as an experiment for a friend and created entirely
with samples of paper as it used by architects and engineers, the second track a carefully constructed
downtempo jam which shows us Nick's love for special sound aesthetics. This record is a special vinyl
only edition, so get it while you can!

Finnish worldtraveling musicmaker Arttu delivers the goods once again for Clone Royal Oak. Three tracks of his own brand of 'evvy funk.

Tokyo-based Ryo Murakami has been releasing slightly minimal-inflected house music since 2007. His club-oriented work has always been subtly atmospheric and deliberately soft-spoken and non-confrontational, conjuring up an original sound that fits to modern-day house music like a glove. He co-runs and releases on the Panrecords label and has also published his music on Dessous, Poker Flat, Baud, Curle, etc. His 2013 album "Depth Of Decay" signaled a change towards a more experimental, ambient-based sound. Meakusma is proud to present these two new tracks that combine the forward momentum of his previous work with his new-found experimental approach. Both tracks play with atmosphere and impact, are essentially slow burners that through Murakami's subtle play with dynamics and change become incredibly moving and abstracted studies into groove and ambient sound. Cherry on the cake is the Porter Ricks remix, their first 'production under the Porter Ricks moniker since their 2002 Nine Inch Nails remix. Here they catapult the Porter Ricks sound into today, without losing their trademark characteristics. A hazy glow that is as revealing as it is mystifying covers the track, whilst the basis of it is, in the best Porter Ricks tradition, a surprisingly funky twist on the rhythm and bass of the original track.

Sometimes people from different environmental backgrounds cross paths with one another through similar interests, and they notice that they have more in common then a certain taste in music alone. Boris Bunnik (aka Conforce) is hailing from the small scenic Dutch island Terschelling, that can be seen as the complete opposite environmental background as the dirty streets of Rotterdam's South Side that drew the first guidelines for Frustrated Funk's watchword: Mad Drama From Everyday Life. Although the background is opposite, the drama and struggle of daily life seem to have more similarities then one would expect. Struggling creative minds searching for correct paths, fighting to keep focused with daily routines, burning ships, moving forward, trying to bend negativity into something positive, writing music as an outlet for their compulsive need to create. This is our game. No hits, no hype, no bullshit, just the real deal, bringing timeless techno from the heart that will always stay untouched. Prologue continues with the Portefeuille Series and present with number 3 new Prologue faces for this release. First is Etapp Kyle, recently released on Ben Klocks 'Clockworks' with an unbelievable emotional techno track. Second is a complete new producer face from Italy called Mod21. Mod21 delivers a biological living techno monster. Last on the EP are Artefakt know the dutch Field Recordings with deepest melancholic grooves for the dance floor. We are very exited about this release and we are sure we see all soon again on Prologue.

Freund der Familie have been in the Dub Techno scene for a long time and they certainly have delivered very fine releases on their own label and a superb remix for Sven Weisemann on our label Telrae. So this is their first solo 10 on Telrae. -Pacifier- is a brilliant sonic experience. Time is running...and it seems like we just woke up out of our interstellar sleep-mode as we are facing the arrival of the 14th edition of the almighty COCOON RECORDINGS COMPILATION. Starting with the letter 'A' we reached 'N' meanwhile which probably marks one of the longest running techno-compilation-series ever around. The list of the featured artists is amazing and almost endless. Big names like Funk D'Void, Alter Ego, Michael Mayer, Steve Bug, DJ Rush, Adam Port, Christian Smith, Nina Kravitz, Henrik Schwarz or Argy can be found here. Not to forget some of the biggest players in the circus like Sven Väth, Anthony Rother, Extrawelt, Timo Mass, Radio Slave or Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Dubfire and even Berlin's Basic Channel mastermind Moritz Von Oswald! With the new 'Compilation N' we will add even more big names side by side to some fresh and promising ones. Let's start with Konstantin Sibold & Leif Müller who gave us 'Kolibri", a great slowed down techno-tune that brings us back to the high days of Alter Ego when Harthouse released big listening and electronica albums. Track number two by Julian Perez follows that feeling and explores the deep and dubby sides of techno, too. A perfect transition to Frankfurt homeboy Markus Fix. It's dub again however spiced up with hypnotic strings and a clubby kickdrum shaking our bass bins! With track number four, 'Compilation N' opens the door to proper and kicking club music.

On this new release for meakusma, Stowe once again injects his tracks with fervour and eclecticism, breaking open their mould and giving them a sense of direction shaped into a relentless groove that slowly but surely opens up time and again. Here are four tracks that pay homage to Berlin's techno roots. Just as much well-timed as 'out of time', these four tracks are underground slabs of raw but sophisticated, daftly funky techno power!"

Gunnar Haslam is a long-time regular at The Mister. By day he's a scholar of particle physics and signal processing, and by night he makes very heady music, some of which has made its way onto their very first ten-inch release.

The Sub Squared label presents an EP by Kloke, a Melbourne based producer who captures the atmosphere and vibe of a variety of his native Britain's forms of electronic music without merely rehashing past genres: Jungle, Dubstep, Grime, Ambient and Techno are distilled into his original but familiar soundscapes. Kloke's back catalogue includes releases on Entrada, Granholme and Styles Upon Styles. On the first side the tracks are beat driven; two tracks with distorted drum machine at 120bpm providing the bones for reflective harmonic and melodic parts that are reminiscent of Jungle or Breakbeat Hardcore. The second side of the record is a mini album in itself; seventeen minutes of beatless music in three tracks. 'Ember' matches staccato rhythmic elements to thick lush pads, 'Yeman' employs a piano and cymbal sample over melancholy tones. The title track of the EP is a 10 minute medley of ambient music that ranges through moods of warmth, desolate electronic bleakness, unsettling menace and skin tingling nostalgia

Back in April, Slovenia's Valentino Kanzyani dropped the first half of a two part underground house EP on Cadenza, titled 'Love & Gratitude EP1. It was his debut release on Luciano's label, and was dark and funky for the most part, with the majority of the four tracks' energy coming from percussion and raw beats (Kanzyani is currently working on an album for Cadenza, which will contain mainly new and unreleased tracks). 'Love & Gratitude EP2 is more heady and hypnotic. Throbbing beats and relentless kick drums drive the rhythms forward, whilst swirling synthesizers and experimental techno soundscapes diffuse the grooves, creating contrast and tonal changes. If anything, the gentle melodies and subtle musicality of Kanzyani's three new original tracks here (the fourth track is a dub edit of the last EP's El Circulo De La Vida cut) create a kind of dancefloor psycheism, where the mind moves in a different spatial plane to the feet, encouraging you to drift off into alternate dimensions. The first track 'Mirvan' is the heaviest cut on the EP, and has a tension and vibe similar to the raw rhythms that Berghain residents Ben Klock or Marcel Dettmann might play at the Berlin techno temple. When some pads fade in around the 2:30 mark, you can sense Kanzyani's desires to coerce you into a dreamlike state. The sounds are infinite and all pervasive, like outer space, forever expanding beyond the reaches of any known logic or meaning. The beats are drowned out at points by the ever-growing black hole of sound, however the drumming is reliable and constant, like an engine that never stutters. The second track 'Chanta Lopez' is more housey, with a tangible bassline and more swing in the groove. Loose claps on alternating delay patterns keep the tension high in the first part of the track, before a metallic, machine-like synth cranks into gear. Unlike 'Mirvan', the synth has a recognizable melody and moves with purpose. At times, the synth combinations almost turn into an aco

It feels like only a moment ago that we welcomed Russian prodigy Andrey Pushkarev to the Circus Company fold with the Gingo Biloba 12, and after that refined exercise in stripped down dancefloor aesthetics it's gives us great pleasure to bring him back in for another three-pronged demonstration of his considerable studio talent. The core principles laid out in that first EP are back in abundance, with Pushkarev expanding on his love of dubbed-out dance music with a fresh batch of rhythms and pulses custom-made to ensnare the subconscious in that time-honoured tradition of meditative house and techno. 'Between The Mountains' makes no attempt to mask the influence of Basic Channel looming overhead, letting the seductive throb of dub techno chords echo through a crisp arrangement of drum machine beats that speak to the building blocks of electro in their mechanical construction. Taking a tougher approach from the outset, 'River' instantly sets itself apart as a more house-orientated affair, thanks in no small part to the solid beat that underpins the track. The insistent synth that stalks in the lower register of the mix drives the track forwards while spine-tingling washes of metallic melody appear intermittently to break up the grooving thrust of the drums. As if the first two cuts weren't deep enough, 'A First Snow' heads even further into hypnotic territory that maximises on the impact of choice reverbs and alluring keys to summon up a surprisingly funky blend of minimal house and dub-wise warmth. It's the little details that allow Pushkarev's skill to shine through, creating sublime dancefloor moments from the most delicate of touches. When considered control and pristine production can result in monotonous output, our Russian friend shows just how captivating the subtle approach can be.

This well established label of dub-techno comes with the fifth release after a short break. The original track is signed by the label owners Alessandro Verrina & Ander Plau, it is beautiful and deep, as usual. The experience of Marco Zenker (Ilian Tape,etc) creates a rhythmic and lovely remix. The last track on this EP is a more dub and chill-out version of Youandewan, who is always in good shape. Marko Fürstenberg - 'Ghosts From The Past' In certain ever present moments, the ghosts from the past are following us. And sometimes they do so in order to gently help us on our way. We can find this theme on Marko Fürstenberg's latest release 'Ghosts From The Past'. Marko, currently living in Leipzig, has been experimenting with sound since 1999. Rooted in classical Dubtechno, he not only knows how to interpret it, he's extending it further with his own personal aesthetic. In 2001, his first releases on a number of netlabels gained him a broad listenership. Then in 2003, his first album 'Gesamtlaufzeit' was born. (Then years later, a son was born as well, but we'll get back to that.) Since 2005, Marko has been constantly releasing Vinyl on labels like Ornaments, A.r.t.less, Echocord Colour and Rotary Cocktail. And also remixes for labels such as Resopal, Telrae, Freund der Familie, and many more, which all demonstrates the quality and sheer competence of his work. With his new album 'Ghosts From The Past', Mr. Fürstenberg doesn't say goodbye to an old chapter, but he's rather building a bridge to a new one. Familiar elements are the mortar to a complete musical piece, with an extended foundation, new accents, and a fresh face. GFTP is a musical retrospective of a new way of life - with a child - that was born in November 2010. The conception and creation of this album began to take form in parallel to that of his unborn son, as an almost aural twin. Marko's wife helped with the album artwork while also carrying a little Marko inside her. So again the past was knocking on the door. Good morning! Meanwhile, over the three and a half years in production, Marko was also actively involving his now toddler child in the sound research for his new album. 'Stolbenkraft' includes made-up vocalizations from his son, mixed with a sneeze to an euphony. In 'Woahhh', he's exploring the playful dispute of his offspring with several toys, e.g. a Thai wooden frog, amongst others. His tendency for his style of pleasant interweaving sound experimentation is shown on the track 'Piano', which reconstitutes moments of a piano concert, while putting them into new structures. Quite some time has passed in between each production, and the diverse accents of time in which this came together, can be heard. Everything on this album melds together organically. On 'GFTP', the Zeitgeist is touched, an Arabic singer can find her spotlight in a colourful soundscape, which alternately holds and catches us, and then ultimately let's us go again.

After the highly anticipated release of his third studio album DECAY, Efdemin presents the first part of a remix series featuring his favourite producers.
Bristol's underground hero Asusu inflates the reduced album opener "Some Kind Of Up And Down Yes" with deepest bass and beautiful scapes to the max in a true Photek-Style. Last year's "Control" by Staffan Linzatti was one of the favourite constants to be played in every Efdemin or Lawrence set. Luckily his version of "Solaris" is another epic hymn here with futuristic enhancements of the third kind.The most extraordinary piece on "Decay Version's Part" 1 is The Borderland State's rework of "Parallaxis". Efdemin's studio-mate John Gürtler recorded that beauty with adding acoustic instruments only and sounds like a meeting of Moondog with Wim Mertens. 
Space is the place!

A bad ass behind the decks, and in the studio since 1998...his productions ended up on some bigger techno labels as well as more obscure imprints. Along with Ian Lehman, he forged the well-received 'Attack People' live performance...bringing his show across the US, to South America, and Europe as well. When he's not on tour with his DJ sets or supercharged live pa sessions, he co-promotes some of Minneapolis's biggest techno parties. In addition, he also manages his labels Abiotic Recordings and Enemy Records, which both receive wide support from the techno community.

Producer CRISTIAN VOGEL, born in Chile and in raised in Bristol, England, represents an inner turmoil within the history of electronic music and techno. Like only a few other artists such as Aphex Twin, he personifies the second wave of techno during which authorship, previously pronounced dead, returned in full force. The former punk, who had completed studies in composition (20th century classical music in Sussex) conveyed a powerful force in his music, which now finds its place very naturally as electronic music; back then, it did more than just shake up the concepts of techno. Complex and intricate rhythms (Süddeutsche Zeitung) dig deep chasms in dark (listening) spaces.

In 1996, together with JAMIE LIDELL as SUPER_COLLIDER, he made a final attempt to breathe life into electronic music, which was still primarily seen as dance/rave/club music, and produced clustered break funk music that was so relevant to its time that many considered it more a music of the future: science fiction for the dance floor. Although the project was not a failure, it did not succeed even halfway in meeting the expectations of an artist who was rather perplexed by the lack of interest he perceived in others in music as art and research. Vogel believes that music has a will to unfold, like a jungle from the undergrowth of industrial cities where music is thought of as an attack and a defense.
Seemingly out of disappointment in the predictably declining hedonism of the scene, he moved to Barcelona and bound his explosive ideas to more accessible formats, founded labels, created networks (No Future, Sleep Debt) and, at the same time, revisited his early days by working more and more on formats such as music for ballet and similar concepts. He also sought freedom precisely in what was referred to as functional electronic music through conceptual and serious endeavors in the artistic sense.
Vogel went under for a time and lived in Vienna before arriving in Berlin nearly two years ago, where he made his first new and daring attempt to assimilate everything that electronic music represented to him on one album: 'The Inertials' on SHITKATAPULT. Shortly after that, his mystical, floating ambient work 'Eselsbrücke' was released, which already spoke the language of the new city.

He now presents a new album on SHITKATAPULT entitled 'POLYPHONIC BEINGS' - a true masterpiece in the inimitable Vogel style, as his fans will no doubt claim. 'POLYPHONIC BEINGS' begins, after two minutes of an irritating noise wave, with a surprisingly classic dub track and grows darker and more abstract from track to track, minute by minute. An eerie and unbelievable sound, with all as it should be: every reverb tail, every movement of the fader, every composed note takes the listener piece by piece into Vogel's own cosmos.
He foregoes interwoven elements for swaying towers of rhythm, powerful sound passages, spaces, roads, mirrors and pathways, leading to a stream of ideas that never wants to end. He aptly quotes Karl-Heinz Stockhausen in the liner notes: These are the "atomic layers of ourselves." And so it is. We are what we hear. This is the definitive CRISTIAN VOGEL.

In March 2007, Inigo Kennedy put Token on the map with our first release 'Identify Yourself'.
7 years & 10 releases later, he now releases his first full length on Token: 'Vaudeville', a project that feels like the culmination of all those years and all those records.
In true, theatrical manner, Vaudeville is a collection of differing themes - from the abstract and freakishly odd to the direct and resonant. And just as the Vaudevillian shares a common purpose with his co-stars as the 'voice of the city'('voix de ville'), there runs through the centre of this record a clear narrative for urban experience.

On 14 April we are releasing a single to portend the full show: 'Lullaby'/'Petrichor'. These two tracks will stand alone on a 12'' vinyl, with the rest of Vaudeville released as a 2xLP & CD on the 2nd June.

It is part of a larger astronomical feature also known as Sagittarius A. Sagittarius A is also believed to be the location of a supermassive black hole. As a consequence, the artist behind Sagittarius A's 'Omega Point EP", wishes to remain anonymous. The EP's main title 'Omega Point' can be described as a blend of stripped down techno/acid and deep ambient textures, and provides full dancefloor functionality while remaining in a sphere of its own. Hot on the heels of his last outing for the Delsin house series comes this, another essential new offering from German producer Erdbeerschnitzel. The experienced producer has many skills in his arsenal and this new EP proves that once again. The title track The Ample Waters is a joyous and lively concoction that fuses curious melodies with busy little piano stabs and more trilling, sunny melodies. It's busy house for bustling dancefloors and next up, Never Tilt slows things down with jumbled, woody percussion falling over lazy drums and stretched, yawning synth smears. Colourful and effervescent, it's a track that makes you want to shake your limbs. With Level Hopes is again characterised by melodic colour, with pixelated patterns stretched over a funky, gooey bassline and clacking percussion. There's a beautifully DIY feel to the loosely assembled track that gives it a life all of its own before closer Yet Unfulfilled pairs slo-mo beats with neo-soul vocal snippets, lazy and stoned summer chords. It's the most emotive of the lot, but all four tracks are truly feel good jams that have come just in time for some serious summer action.

Known for the creation and performance of new and experimental music Tom Adams: A multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and songwriter based in Cambridge, who has recently scored the music for the Universal Picture film The Knive that killed me whilst doing remixes for artists such as Nils Frahm

Analogue Mapping sees Meanwhile founder Robert Lawrence return to production duties as Bovill in requisite fashion after a four year absence. In this time Lawrence has focused on establishing the London label as a worthy outlet for the deeper echelons of techno with material from Murmur, Sven Weismann, Bvdub and Conforce. Spread luxuriously across two slabs of vinyl, the six tracks allow Bovill to make room for soothing, dubby moments that ease you in as well as productions characterised by their driving drum and chord arrangements. See the spine tingling opener "So It Goes" for evidence of the former whilst "Neap" and "Hunt Or Herd" provide perfect examples of the latter.

A time machine appeared to us recently in a cloud of smoke and a giant portal of light. Out of the portal a smoking piece of futuristic metal emerged and fell onto our floor. Closer examination revealed it to be a time capsule sent from the future. A message from the year 2043, it contained diagrams of futuristic machines from what looks to have been the studio sessions of the recordings presented here. Robin Kampschoer started to experiment with composing music using drum machines, synthesizers, and other analogue equipment in 1998. In 2000, this resulted in performing live acts of which he is now recognised for. Today, while combining hardware of the past with digital tools of today, he has been playing around the world for over a decade. Robin is known for a distinctive music style, which varies between funky and deep Detroit- techno and minimalistic dub.

Echocord Colour025 is produced by a good friend and a new artist on Echocord Colour, Lasse Buhl from Copenhagen.After some years in the techno scene as one half of the group Northern Structures, who releases on Adama X' label Sonic Groove, Lasse Buhl releases his debut EP "R38" on Echocord Colour, inspired by roughness and simplicity. The remix comes from no other than Milton Bradley from Berlin. The 'R38' track ia a driving, stomping, dry killer Techno track, while 'Em.A Ai' is a more experimantal breaky track, with dubby elements.The remix is a pure 4/4 Techno track, a typical Milton Bradley peaktime production

Some say history has come to an end... we say the future is about to start... 2 Brand new nu-jack sessions by Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being and Noleian Reusse.

British imprint Tact Recordings drops its seventh release this October, the 'Doe Maar Diep' EP from Dutch duo, Duijn & Douglas, backed with a rework from label-head LIXHZ.

Duijn & Douglas is the moniker for production duo, Esther Duijn, and Steady Douglas, Duijn is notably known for her work with the likes of Feelharmonic Records, Nowar and Organic Music, as well as regular appearances at the likes of Panorama Bar and Tresor in Berlin, while Steady is the brains behind the Amsterdam Voidd brand. Here the duo join the Tact Recordings roster, slotting in alongside works from Matthew Burton, Mr.G, and Tevo Howard.

The single opens with 'Zucht En Nog Eens', a moody, hook-driven deep techno cut, featuring dubbed out aesthetics, weighty drums and an infectious Rhodes line in the latter stages of the record, which really ties the whole cut together and create a slow-blooming dance-floor focused workout.
'Noorderlicht' follows, which veers on a deeper excursion with ethereal pads, gritty bass stabs and dropped tempo distorted percussion. The soulful vocals of, Berenice, then add further musicality to the record and instills some additional charm and character to things.

On the flip side, the duo turn in a deep house cut, a perfect way to wind down the original content, as they opt for bright synth chords, swinging drums and bulbous sub bass, while Berenice's vocals again add a heart felt warmth to things. Label-head LIXHZ then closes the EP with a digital bonus extra, reshaping 'Noorderlicht', putting things on a gritty off-kilter tip with broken drums, swirling background atmospherics and heavily processed vocals snippets, while bubbling dubbed out synth lines and resonant sweeps drive the movement of the record.

Unclear 004 scars the up and coming debut of Niro as a producer, by producing an EP designed by a deep and a strong dub and techno tonalities.
Side A is strongly inspired and imprinted from the deep house of Agachoo and from Reshape mix of Fred P that manages to produce his own originality integrated with a strong dub atmosphere.
Side B is a discovery into the techno soul differently from the previous EP described before. Starship Hookers demonstrates an ever more strong reference to deep, that the remix of MRSK manages to strip completely bringing the entire disc into the purest of techno.

Heir apparent to the UK techno throne, Clouds have been gaining credibility with each release. With their LP Ghost Systems Rave, 12"s on Fifth Wall and Soma, and their latest Tannhauser Acid Works EP, they've reached beyond the warehouse and into the wild apocalyptic rubble of po-mo UK hardcore.

Their lead track Blood Skating is an industrial blitz of terror-beats, laced with a haunting, Aphex-grade vocal pad. It sets the tone for this incredible release, which they've A&R'd out of thin air, apparently from their mates in Dundee, Perth, and the surrounding mud-lands.

The 12" sampler features DJ Hesburger's 'Roll Up Your Sleeves, Welcome to the Dance,' an awesome slice of overdriven acid electro that sounds like MPIA3 on MDMA. Jane 'Fuck Your Alliance' is proper mental brain dance, while Dance Company's 'Berzerkerz' sounds like an unearthed hardcore anthem from 92.

The full "...I Care Because You Don't" compilation is coming October 2014.
