As we continue on our journey here at Futurepast, we are pleased to welcome a trio that, for many years, we felt shared our vision, Frak! From Sweden, Frak have been founding an original hardware-based sound since the 80's, first via their own label Borft before collaborating with other labels over three whole decades.

On their "Formless Obstruction" EP, Frak have provided a window into the sinister twists and turns of their work. On the A-side, you see creeping Detroit stylings of "Scientific Bella" set against "Wrong Owl" with it's EBM underpinnings and industrial inflections.

On the flip, "Concentrated Feed" bubbles next to the razor sharp "Capacity Faun", both are filled with characteristic machine quirks and experimentalism.

Jenkem Magazine and Steel City Dance Discs unite for a high-energy compilation – each team bringing forth two artists of their choosing for a heavyweight bout across 4 tracks.

A personal release for both Mr. G and the label, where a friendship was born in Temasek, the earliest recorded name of a settlement in Singapore. From the stay at the Pan Pacific hotel with great views of the city centre, to a bespoke cocktail bar and tucking into black pepper crab, the memorable excursion is now forever captured in this EP. Prince de takicardie debuts on Cartulis music with the first part of a three-vinyl series. A music triptych.

Rhyw is back on his own Fever AM for the label’s 10th release. “The Devil’s in the Dlzlzlz” presents four new tracks of non-linear mutant-techno and electronica, including his first foray into 160bpm territory. Rhyw continues to seek out space within the groove, dissecting conventions in his detailed, minimalistic and adventurous style.

For years, the vinyl 12 inches from the French Techno-house & New Beat label N9 were nearly impossible to find, and devoted Oldschool Fans kept asking for represses.
Thanks to a joint venture with fellow Belgian label Fenix Fire Records, the wait is over!

Here’s a deluxe 2x12' compilation, on 180g marbled red vinyl in a beautiful gatefold package.

With 11 tracks spanning from the origins in 1990 to the rebirth since 2005, N9's most wanted releases are here, remastered by French sonic wizard André Dalcan, ready to get turntables at the right 33+8 mood, and get the white glove raised again!

Nuclear Device / Mahres 001 is a mini-album with 6 hot tracks produced by STIGMA the first time use alias of Steve Marie. The tracks are written during pandemic, it's a mixture of some slow industriel influenced compositions, late night club bangers and 2021 revisited synth pop 80's sounds.
The whole record is mixed & mastered at South End Studios by the master Chris Key It comes with an original artwork on labels and a fat old school 30 x 10 cm stickers on sleeve. Limited 300 copies.

Martinou lands on Nous'klaer Audio with his debut album RIFT. Emerging from a waking forest entranced by sun-rays reflected in the morning dew and the sound of rustling leaves in the rising wind. Vilnius based Moisk turns to the new Belgian imprint ‘Pleasure Express’. Their Melancholic Raver EP combines deep tribal rhythms with out-of-this world voices and soundscapes. Acidic goodness elegantly draped over slowed down breakbeat patterns and percussions. Dusseldörf based AKI AKI did his magic on the remix. Let’s take a ride on the Pleasure Express!

Radikal Kuss joins BARRO Music Label, and they offer us BARRO # 005, a 5-track EP, available in both physical (vinyl) and digital format. The EP is a complete bomb, from WAR, the destructive kicks off track, to IGNORANCE IS A CRIME, the closing track, with sensual rhythms and suggestive vocals.

Byron the Aquarius (aka Byron Blaylock), an accomplished keys player as much as he is a producer, has a deep love for the organic side of music. This shines through in his creations, back to his debut EP in 2007. More recently, Blaylock's skillful jazz beats have found a home on the one and only Jeff Mills' Axis Records. From his birthplace in Birmingham Alabama, Blaylock has grown into an international figure of acclaim for his explorative compositions.

Already having two successful EPs with Shall Not Fade under his belt - most recently marking the labels' 50th release with What Up Doe? Vol.2 - Byron the Aquarius returns for a gorgeous double LP. Expect the smoothness of deep house, melodic instrumental hip hop production of the J Dilla creed along with tight jazz pieces.

The New Beginning LP showcases range and expertise from the off, exploding with pulsing discordant jazz in "Amaya's Voyage". Psychedelic g-funk is the MO of "Smoke One For Huckaby", before a B-side milieu of jazz and hip hop reminiscent of Guru's Jazzmatazz. The album settles into a deep groove across its C-side, the highlight of which is the percussive workout of "Underground Was Black", complemented delicately with dazed pads and buoyant but smokey lounge jazz sounds in "Cosmic Jazz". Off kilter hip hop shines through in "Last Time We Gonna Do This" and its eclectic sound palette, then we are blindsided by the heavy electro distortion of "The End Of The World". The record closes with a collaboration of the genres explored throughout, pieced together into the pumping "Lost People of Tron". The album feels like a lap of honour around all the influences in Byron The Aquarius' sound - it's yet another artistic triumph.

he first release of Escape Artist’s new imprint is a various artists affair brought together by the power of friendship. After years of being sent amazing music by new and old friends from near and afar, the time has come to share this joy with the rest of the world. As a label, we will seek to shine a light on psychedelic music of all designs and the first release will focus on the dance variety. It is the label’s hope that the love and friendship that brought this project together will shine through in the music.

Side A opens with cris. p’s ‘Lemon’, a mid-tempo breakbeat roller that epitomises the ideal qualities of a track found in an opening set. Playful acid notes and indecipherable spoken work glisten against a backdrop of thumping kicks and warm sub-bass. Grim Beazley’s ‘Acid Leaf’ evokes a memory of crowded peak time floors. The song’s gentle introduction gives way to powerful 303/909 interplay and leaves us yearning to go back to that place.

Hex Editor’s transcendental breakbeat dreamscape ‘Tuesday’ opens the B side with expert precision. Soaring pads and swimming arpeggios provide the perfect spot for the listener to land after their flight from the previous side. Escape Artist & cris. p’s ‘People Division’ rounds out the release. A kaleidoscopic downtempo introduction leads to a groove punctuated with intricate polyrhythmic basslines. Produced during the lockdown, this piece is an attempt to sonically manifest our collective desire to return to the dancefloor.

PSY SECTION was founded on stolen land. We acknowledge that this release was created on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging.

After his very successful remix of 'Slip Away' on Noir Music we are extremely delighted to release this incredible EP from Olivier.
Paris based Giacomotto is no new name to the scene but he has hit a sweet spot on Noir Music with his recent productions and this 'Postgalactic' 4-tracker might be his best effort to date.
All 4 tracks move in the same universe but show Giacomotto from melodic to the more minimal sound. Its been ages since we've heard such a solid effort from 1 artist and we have been all smiles here since Giacomotto decided to shower Noir Music with his great productions.No more praising words - let the music do the talking.

Up next on Club Qu is UK producer Otik, delivering a highly detailed EP melting techno, jungle, ambient and just about any type of bass music down to his own creation. Munich Duo Zenker Brothers add a rowdy signature remix of theirs to the pack and it's done - a heavy 12 suited for many different record bags.

Full side tune, The Truth, is a bloody roots acid tribe tune, with a true story, a hidden melody,sweet acid sounds, reminding me the acid belgium Bonzai sound. B-sdie stands 2 perls, the first one is Different World a total full-out acidcore tracks. Dancefloor killer. And second position Locked By The Acid : an experimental broken acid mental sound, very nostalgic and soulfull, at the frontier to be IDM acid, my fave tune here i recogn... nice little perl. Enjoy ! Tim returns on home label Offworld Records with a classic 4-track EP of future-focused ethereal techno and electro. A-side opener Dystopia paints a bleak post-apocalyptic image that flows into the uplifting pad-driven 303 cut Enrichment. This time round we have a double announcement to make.

Here at Seven Hills we are joining forces with our esteemed friend Bobby. over at Pleasure Club to roll out a brand new collaborative series: Seven Pleasures. We’ll be bringing you the best from both with a run of seven sinfully good releases to ignite the senses.

First up on part 1, we have Omar and Bobby in cahoots on the A side representing the Pleasure Club camp; their heavyweight offerings make dynamic synth lines and shrewdly stripped back breaks the focus. Whilst on the Seven Hills flip, we have our friend, beat conjurer and mastering artiste Thee J Johanz, with his tracks flaunting the perfect measure of carefully crafted hypnotism and harmony.

Through the years Intacto Records became a household name. The label was founded in Amsterdam in 2004 under the collaborative genius of Shinedoe and 2000 and One.It was nlaunched as a platform for the by then strongly emerging Amsterdam scene supporting a pack of local artists shaping a fresh distinctive sound which took over the electronic scene by storm. Intacto's defining sound included many styles and its catalogue is a melting pot of influences of which house and techno are the key elements. After running Intacto Records successfully for 14 years, Shinedoe and 2000 and One have joined forces on their very first collaborative release. A ten year old unreleased 2000 and One track 'World of Acid' have been played out by Shinedoe for years and received ecstatic feedback from the clubbing crowds. Convincing him to release this timeless tune to scorch the dancefloors worldwide, Shinedoe was inspired to do a remix. In return 2000 and One remixed her track 'Acidploitation' which she recently produced. 'Acidploitation' EP is the culmination of two Dutch legends, defining their brilliant take on music once again.
