Label owner Kastil comes up with the fourth 12'' in the Stale series. After imaginative releases by Irazu, Deapmash together with a string of underground cassette releases it's finally time for the man in charge to step back up with a very versatile and well balanced outing called ''The Sadistic Abbess''. The opening effort on the A side ''YD33'' is a modular sounding Techno cut that comes through as a robust and assertive opening track, showcasing Kastil's expertise in creating hazardous ambiances and programming rough drum patterns. ''Sphere of Influence'' is an intergalactic offering that is hard to pin down. The craze of FX on this cut is wide and thorough leaving the listening in somewhat of a frenzy. The built is strong and the effort develops into a monstrous buldger that balances smartly between different sides of electronic music. ''Bastardos'' is an emotive piece of cinematic proportions that serves as the outro for the A side. Wonderfully orchestrated pads and gloomy vocals. ''Variable Penrose'' opens up the B side. This cut will ensure some peak time dancefloor action due to it's structured nature. Serbian producer ''Lag'' offers an energetic remix of another Kastil original named ''Gold Coal''. ST171 will be available through all specialized retailers early 2017.

"The wait is over as we finally have a new release ready by one of the originators of Icelandic techno. It's been a while, but worth the wait - as he delivers a straight-shooter, destined to find place in the record bags of all serious djs for years to come. The EP consists of four dub-influenced techno tracks - each one exploring the depths of sonic and emotional landscapes. Some might even say glacial and atmospheric, yet perfect for a late night spin at the clubs. Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneers in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland's most renowned electronic musicians. "

Calum Gunn has spent the past few years becoming a key figure in the European electronic avant-garde. As well as releasing his own music through labels like Entr'acte, FLUF and Tsuku Boshi, the Berlin-based Gunn also helms Conditional Records, one of the most forward-thinking computer-music imprints to emerge in recent times.
Gunn's Addenda EP, his debut drop for Central Processing Unit, contains some of his most dynamic work to date. While his commitment to experimentalism remains, these four tracks represent a clear shift in focus for Gunn - namely that, for perhaps the first time in his career, he is making music that is club-friendly. A whole host of dancefloor innovators are recalled when listening to Addenda - particularly Autechre, Analord-era AFX and several of Mark Pritchard's projects as well as Gunn's contemporaries Rian Treanor and Renick Bell.
These tracks never sit still, their rhythms constantly evolving and turning themselves over. Addenda's first two cuts use metronomic hi-hats to keep these ever-changing grooves in check. With its thwacking kicks and snares, opener 'Esephony' enters the fray with the heft of an early Wiley riddim. Atop these drums we find squeaky half-melodies interlocking and breaking apart, meaning that the overall effect is not dissimilar to the tweaking beats that Pritchard came up with as part of Africa Hitech. 'Esephony' is followed by 'Moebu', another track that harks to grime through its fluttering lead synth. The way that this single-note line snakes above a slow, steady drum pulse pitches 'Moebu' halfway between Last Japan and rRoxymore.
Gunn increases the tempo in Addenda's second half. 'Ternenmarz' introduces itself with more blarts of bass, but whereas these were steady on 'Esephony' they now jump around unexpectedly. Gunn holds the erratic kicks in place with twittering hats and snares - indeed, when you factor in its gnarly synth lines, 'Ternenmarz' steers closer than any other cut here to the high-grade electro drops that CPU has made its name with. Closer 'Pins' supercharges the snap of 'Esephony' to 145 bpm before Gunn softens up the track with reverb-drenched synths that nod to the sombre post-grime of Mr. Mitch's Gobstopper Records.
With the Addenda EP, Calum Gunn has achieved something that proves elusive to so many producers - making club tracks that are at once innovative and immediate, their experimental tendencies serving to elevate their dancefloor impact.
RIYL: Rian Treanor, Africa Hitech, Autechre, Renick Bell, Brainwaltzera
Radio Slave’s momentous ‘Another Club’ receives two thumping remixes from SRVD and Charlotte de Witte. ‘Another Club’ was the 100th release on Rekids and dropped as the label celebrated a milestone ten years. It unquestionably became one of Techno’s biggest tracks ever made. Two years later, the landmark production receives outstanding remixes from two of the genre’s most salient artists: NovaMute producer Charlotte de Witte, who’s just collaborated with Chris Liebing on her newly launched KNTXT imprint, as well as the ever-impressive Patrick Mason and Radio Slave who team up again as SRVD. Charlotte de Witte’s remix of ‘Another Club’ marches forward with pounding 909 style kicks, hooking acid hits, fleeting voice samples and haunting pads. SRVD’s remix then uses the vocals as stabs, adding tension with rave inspired synths, buzzing keys and splashing cymbals, while locking it all together with thundering drums and sub frequency rumbles.

Canadian born, Berlin based producer Aquarian makes his full length album debutThe Snake That Eats Itselfon Bedouin Records.
This record follows his collaborative EPs with Deapmash as 'AQXDM" and is his first solo release since his 2016 experimental mixtape for Quiet Time. Nearly five years in the making, 'The Snake That Eats Itself' is Aquarian's most complex, diverse and emotive work to date, plunging his trademark UK sound-system/techno hybrids into a self-contained, cinematic universe streaked with heavy influences from industrial, IDM, drone and dark pop music.
It's written in Brooklyn, New York, in a deeply transitional, yet seemingly endless period preceding his relocation to Berlin, the title of the album refers to the Ouroboros, a mythological serpent symbolizing the cycle of birth and death and infinity itself.
'The Snake That Eats Itself' pits Aquarian's most abrasive and brutal moments next to his most wistful and introspective.
Viscerally thick layers of tape saturation envelop the album as sludgy synths ooze against brittle atmospheres; breakbeats fragment, explode and disintegrate into swarms of delay and noise; scorched, metallic percussion - sampled from a year-long demolition and construction project next to his apartment - forge the rhythmic backbone of the album. These elements, however, seamlessly make way to startlingly crystalline and shimmering ambient passages, offering a sense of reprieve and balance.
Children Of Tomorrow will celebrate soon its 10 years anniversary. The label was created by Emmanuel Ternois back in the day and being joined by Arnaud Le Texier in 2011. Since then they focused on Techno producing amazing artists, to name few: Terrence Dixon, Zadig, Tensal, Antigone, Oscar Mulero, Jonas Kopp, Samuli Kemppi etc... Children Of Tomorrow is now presenting the first album from Arnaud Le Texier. After almost 30 years Dj-ing around the world and almost 20 years producing. Signing many releases over the years and always busy delivering dance floor releases, it's been a long wait to finally get an album from ArnaudOn his first album we can feel that he wanted to tell a story and to express something deeper with his production experience. There is a different variety of Techno that stretches from ambient / broken beat / hypnotic / raw Techno along with subtles grooves, wondrous atmospheres & sonic textures. On A side the album opens with Dusk, an ambient atmospheric mid-tempo track with sonic sounds that is a perfect intro.Pattern 2 starts with drones and blip sounds and a broken beat groove follows with a pad that sounds like a voice coming from the space. The track ends with some modular click sounds that make the whole track clever. Followed by the album title Granular Therapy, a deep techno track with modular bass line and melancholic pad. A perfect track to play in after or to warm up a party. The B Side is more dedicated to the dance floor with Black Nympheas that is a proper dark modern techno with a grinding bass line and magic drones. A simple beat makes the track evolve in a nice way. Blade Pass frequency is 4/4 effective Techno with a 909 kick, a syncope acid bass line and a pad that sends you to another dimension. It is a powerful track but with a sense of deepness and sensibility that Arnaud can achieve sometimes. This side closes with Binary Sun Dawn which is an ambient track with melody that has a jazz feeling mixed with dark atmospheres, sonic drones and water drops. The C side opens with Mono Driver, a minimal track with a little synth that stays until the end repetitively until it makes you travel and lose your mind. Deep and dance floor at the same time.
Then Snapper is a more percussive track with some shinning bells and a grinding modular bass line.
The last track Virgo Consortium is a cosmic broken beat with dark atmospheric drone, simple bass and phasing efx. The D Side starts with Midi overdub which is a beauty. A mix between ambient and broken beat. The pad has the deepness that transports you somewhere else with an angel choir on top. The beat is spacial and groovy at the same time with smart high hats. This reminds Arnaud's past ambient production but with a modern approach. Surely a special track of the album.
Hideous Engine is more dance floor with metallic bass line and 4'4 beat going towards a sonic pad that closes the track. The last track Dawn is ambient with drones and blip sounds and an acid bass line modulate. A perfect end of the album. This album is an accomplished journey that makes you dance and travel from dusk till dawn. Arnaud Le Texier shows a coherent vision and illustrates his vast diversity in the techno world. Hopefully we won't have to wait 20 years to get another one.
I am very happy to welcome the very nice guy Drumcomplex on my label. We met this year for the first time, but it clicked immediately. He is one of the hardest working and loveliest collegues for sure! This ep shows his variety in styles and already smashed the dancefloors in my sets! (Monika Kruse)

East Man returns with a four track EP that explores his own Hi Tek take on Grime, stripping everything down to the raw, bare essentials.
Opening the EP is Fight For A Cause, a rough a fuzzy sub bass driven exercise in beat science that draws as much upon Dancehall as it does Grime. The second track, Selector, is a straight up DJ tool, utilising an alternating 32 bar pattern interspersed with splashes of pirate radio chatter.
The flip side opens with the storming Bandit Country.
The subdued intro lulling you into a false sense of security before the beats and bass are unleashed in full attack mode, the relentless onslaught pausing only briefly midway for you to catch your breath before continuing on it's devastating path.
The closing track, Darkage, is an ominous brooding affair that those of you familiar with East Man's sets will know well.
A real head nodding roller, it's definitely one for the technical DJ's.

"More tribal than industrial and that is very good in this case. Repetitiv, dark mood music with a vintage acid, maybe early skam touch to it. For fans of the darker side of warp and skam with a rougher more lofi feeling. Fits also in every avantgarde collection next to coil, chris carter, scanner and coh." kickzone

Lurking in the shadows of the underground since 2013, subtly shifting trends and creating new bass cultures with a firmly understated frame of mind, Itinerant Dubs resurface with three new dance experiments that cross the boundaries and join the dots with brutal simplicity of thought. No tricks, cheap thrills or passing tastes; this is pure UK heat coming straight from the machines to your needle. The opener, "Dub This", lashes out heavy 808 percussion amid a blur of sparse, jagged licks of acid, while "Human Emulation" uses electro science as its platform for dancehall annihilation, leaving "Three Four" to linger more placidly in a hazy, mid-air smoke that we've come to recognise as the apex Itinerant Dubs sound. Murderous and iconic. The shadows resurface.
User Engine is back! Patrick Walker (Soma Recordings) aka Forward Strategy Group (Perc Trax, Mord) returns as User Engine for his second EP for Stepback Records.

Opening up the compilation is Antoni Maiovvi's android lullaby 'The Wolf Void' followed by the pulsating analog rhythms of Das Ding’s epic (almost) 9- minute synthetic trip ‘Insect Apocalypse’. On the flip, Itako carries forward the sinister momentum leaving us in a dark state of hypnosis with its spectral synth and acid lines. Last but by no means least, Timothy J. Fairplay closes off the release in classic Fairplay style with an FX laden soundtrack for dystopian dreams that ascends to ethereal heights.

Paul Woolford’s hardcore and rave-indebted Special Request project continues its industrious hot streak, delivering two sublime, peak-time reworks of Erol Alkan’s unstoppable ‘Spectrum’.
Since it's release in late 2017, Alkan’s hit has been as ubiquitous as Woolford himself, gaining momentum as astaple in the sets of DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Sven Vath and Mano Le Tough.
Beginning with the ‘Kaleidoscopic Mix’, SR strips back the high-energy reverie of Alkan’s original into something truly vast, building to an unmistakable and flawless acid bassline, from which emerge abrooding and dystopian network of melodies. Balancing tension and melancholy without ever losing grip of its enormous bass weight, the ‘Kaleidoscopic Mix’ delivers ten-minutes of compelling euphoria.
On the flip, the ‘Double Vision’ mix takes much of the same structure but places Spectrum’s original, glorious riff front-and-centre once more, as if stretching its fizzy, inherent energy out of a warehouse and towards the fields at sunrise.

Following Lone AKA Matt Cutler's stunning sixth album 'Levitate's hallucinogenic joyride through breakbeats, he returns to R&S with 'Ambivert Tools' the first in a series of EPs for the floor returning to hypnotic 4/4 excursions.
Inspired in no small part by the rich seam of house that he's been excavating with his fine Magicwire imprint, a refreshed Cutler delivers an EP stacked with sure-fire bullets, crafted for his intoxicating DJ sets.
First up is 'Crush Mood' - crunching drums, lush resampled chords and dulcet female vox combine into a heady, peak-time rush. 'Chroma' comes off like a lost 90s anthem, with its shimmering vibes, airy chords and bumpy rhythm track. B-side closer 'From A Past Life' could well be the strongest track on the EP - hazy Emulator ii chords, spiral arpeggios, gooey bass and woozy african percussion that finds Lone digging deeper into some of his more esoteric House music influences.
'Ambivert Tools' finds Cutler a true master, at the top of his game - taking all he's learned over his many years of beat exploration and condensing it down into rugged house stacked full of nagging melody / harmony that elegantly pays tribute to bygone years whilst simultaneously feeling fresh and vital to 21st century dance floors.

Anthem alert, digging deep into the box marked "Detroit"! Polartronics aka legendary producer and DJ extraordinaire Terrence Parker delivers this almighty grooving kalimba led cut from 1993 on KMS offshoot Trance Fusion. This is one that will get the dance-floor moving in seconds, the real deep House deal!
The vocal mix on side A is a blend of whip-crack percussion sounds, whispered and spoken vocals and deeeep pads, a mixture of winding, melodic sounds that are a little more insistent than the languid instrumental take over on the B-side that somehow retains the mystical spirit of the previous mix but at 20,000 feet below sea level. As the EP title suggests, this is "The Deep" indeed. Absolutely killer stuff from the D here, with TP in full effect, do not miss out on this one!
Re-mastered, re-pressed and brought to you fresh for 2015 in conjunction with KMS / Trance Fusion Records, Detroit USA.

"Syncope, also known as fainting, is defined as a short loss of consciousness and muscle strength, characterized by a fast onset, short duration, and spontaneous recovery. It is due to a decrease in blood flow to the entire brain usually from low blood pressure. Some causes have prodromal symptoms before the loss of consciousness occurs. In phonology, syncope ( Greek: syn + koptein "to strike, cut off ) is the loss of one or more sounds from the interior of a word, especially the loss of an unstressed vowel. It is found both in synchronic analysis of languages and diachronics. Its opposite, whereby sounds are added, is epenthesis".All ready supported by: Kerstin Eden, Gez Varley (LFO), Plural, John Massey, Kill Ref, Richie Hawtin, WarinD, Formal Method, M.R.E.U.X, Klaudia Selection Sorted.hu, Kata Mercado, ArchivOne, Mirko (Etichetta Nera), Gill (Different Grooves), Jeff Rushin,Domenico Crisci, Gigi Galli, Pat Coefficient, Noemi Black, Dr. Motte, Logotech, Imugem Orihasam, Gemma Furbank, Subsist Rec 2, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Dario Caruson, Slaker, Xpansul, Chris Jones aka Sejon, Trunkline,Future 16

"Coconut Grove started as a secret. I wrote & recorded it in deliberate solitude over the course of a year, in long sessions when I was alone at home or after everyone else had gone to sleep. I had the uncanny sense of discovering something quite old rather than of making something new.
Every album I've made revealed itself over time - Coconut Grove snaked its way through my psyche, going back to my beginnings. While working on it, I found some notes I had jotted down back in 2006, when I was 22 & first inching away from punk towards electronic music. I wrote that I had been dreaming of something humid and menacing, melting but also alluring. I heard some of that in the haunting, dubby minimal techno of the time, and imagined it crossed with the slashing urgency of my favorite no wave & post punk bands. I imagined the catharsis I experienced as a performer rerouted through techno's mercurial endlessness. Those visions never left me, and I've been dreaming of them in one way or another ever since. Coconut Grove folded that time back onto the present, letting me start again from the beginning.
A lot can happen in a year, and, at the risk of sounding coy, a lot happened to me in 2018. Coconut Grove was an exorcism, or maybe a rebirth, but whatever it was it moved with a little extra fluidity. You can hear it for yourself, but I will say the album's softer touch is no accident. Living in that secret space, it felt good to let some air in."
-Daniel Martin-McCormick aka Relaxer
‘Rain, spit, ice, neon, plants, steam, mercury and soil. This is dream music categorised by a language of senses; visual, poetic, and abstract sound that draws on techno and dub ambient.
‘Somewhere between pastoral impressionism and cyber-noir, its surface evokes the tensions of a fluctuating, fizzing atmosphere, pictures emerging and dissolving in the mind’s eye. Thick layers of field recording flood tracks fabricated from erratic, oddly distanced rhythm.
‘The sensation whilst listening is not unlike hearing the world from a place within the body; swimming in the bloodstream, cutting through the turbulent landscape secure in a metal tube.
‘Or being over-exposed to lushly textured environments with the anatomy far receded; an out-of-body experience where subtler senses are heightened and the landscape begins to take on surreal qualities.’

Jerome Hill, the man synonymous with the UK Underground for a couple of decades now arrives on DEXT with this 4 track EP and shows just why he is one of the country’s most underrated talents.
After his superb remix for Nightwave on our LTD label, we had to get him on board for an EP. The Super Rhythm Trax / Don’t Records boss really flexes his muscles on these heavyweight offerings – effortlessly blending super sharp drum programming with his signature “acidic bleeps and breaks” style, delivering 4 clever-yet-no-nonsense jams to make you move for a long time to come.
This is a man unquestionably at the top of his game both in the studio and behind the decks, and we couldn’t be happier to have him as part of the DEXT family.

We live in the era of 'more'. We spend our days trying to keep up with a seemingly infinite range of links to follow, pictures to see, sounds to hear, places to go, objects to desire, events to anticipate, heroes to cherish and villains to loath. But rather than freeing, too many options can become paralyzing. Consequently, we often find ourselves frustrated because of the experiences we will never have... without even knowing what we really want. The same goes with music creation in digital environments. Too many possibilities can also mean a tyranny of the "what if...". In this light, celebrating 'less' becomes vital. And that's exactly what swedish producer and Studio Barnhus affiliate Simon Haydo does in 'Redux'. All of the sounds in the album's nine tracks come from just one synth: the Korg MS20. As Simon puts it, the idea was to "maximize the use of less, basically. Less gear, less effects, less input from other people, less everything."Using only between 2 and 6 channels for every track, the result is a stripped but surprisingly rich sound, that delineates spatial Techno vignettes coated with the unmistakable charac- ter of the MS20 filters. Even more interestingly, this restraint is not only applied gear-wise, but also from an emotional point of view. "Instead of involving my own feelings, I let the voice of the MS20 take care of it", says Simon. All this makes 'Redux' an expression of techno in its purest form. After all, it's a kind of music that has always gravitated around simplicity, austerity and, of course, the believe that the machines have their own soul.

Joe Lucas creates music under a few monikers most often as Causa and notably has appeared on Tusk Wax, Boogie Box and Birdie.
The Causa sound elegantly touches on deep house grooves and melodic techno but with contemporary style and is an obvious choice for the Verdant family. The Locks EP is released as Sixtyone leaning towards Detroit flavours with intricate percussion layered with warm soulful keys.
Previous releases have attracted high profile remixes from Kuniyuki, Luv Jam and Young Marco and that trend continues. On the flip of The Locks Stojche provides a burly, peak time reshape of Zelo upping the Detroit vibes. Hiver's reshape of the delicate Tregnanton original adds a firm kick, swinging bassline and heady 303 sparkle with dazzling effectiveness.
We Are The Brave boss Alan Fitzpatrick joins Rekids with ‘Step Away’, a euphorically chargedtechno release featuring two remixes from Planetary Assault Systems.
Having performed across the world at the likes of Watergate, fabric, Shelter and DC-10, renowned UKartist Alan Fitzpatrick has continued to bring driving techno to the forefront of electronic music culture since the early 2000s. With a ream of releases on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown, Drumcode, Hotflush and many more, he now launches into 2020 with his debut on Radio Slave’s revered imprint.
Fitzpatrick’s signature, thundering techno cut ‘Step Away’ opens with spacey toms, industrial kicks, delayed claps, pulsing bass and atmospherically sustained keys.
The hailed Mote-Evolver boss and esteemed remixer Luke Slater serves up two propulsive edits under his Planetary Assault Systems alias with the first remix being otherworldly with reverbed stabs, subtle arpeggiated synths, minimalistic drums whilst the second remix goes into overdrive with analogue beat programming, computerised melodies and a harrowing sub-frequency rhythm.

After their successful releases on Cajual, Wow! Recordings,
Great Stuff, Smiley Fingers and Lapsus, M.in & Gunman are back on
My Favourite Freaks Music. In addition, we are glad that we can also offer this release on vinyl.
There will be 3 new strong tracks and the already released
"M.in & Gunmann - I Believe" track on the black gold.
"Humanize" reminds us of Floorplan tracks. Energetic minimal house
with beautiful chords and short vocals.
"Spice" is a driving house track, all in the M.in & Gunman style.
Somehow Oldschool, but still New Cool.
"Haus" on the other hand shows a different side of the two. An
oppressive bass is the focus here, pushing the Micro House track forward.

Lisbon pals Photonz and Shcuro are two of the city's most active DJs and music makers, sharing a penchant for a moody yet electrifying brand of dance sonics. They've created Shermanworx together in the studio, recording machines live using an ethos of improvisation while relying on their fine-tuned dancefloor intuition. The Sherman Filterbank was the go-to piece of equipment, appearing in every track and eventually naming the EP.
Tribal techno swirls menacingly backed by dark melodies in the opening track, a hypnotic yet vivid peak-time belter that could go on and on.
A synth so textured you can almost touch it is the centrepiece of Sherman2, another driving club beast complete with modulated arpeggios and industrial-tinged percussions.
The record comes to close with a dreamier exercise in Sherman3: a dubby electro beat conducts melodic mutant synth lines and pads to achieve a slow-burning, expansive euphoria.
For all the Acid that is coming out through this so-called "Acid revival" I was somehow missing the good old hook of the 90s Acid-Techno tracks. After countless requests to do some new Acid again it finally clicked with me and I had this - in my opinion - great Acid hook to jump along to for the Acid To The Future track. I really love this one and it could've been big in the 90s I guess...so hopefully this will click with the listeners also today :-) Acid Funk and Acid Jaxx pretty much speak for themselves and are funky groovin' Acid tracks with a more modern touch mixed with the old vibe flavour. Machine Banger is definitely on the harder side and was done for Ferox' This is Acid... Nothing else" VA compilaton on Kobayashi.Hands up and have fun...

Adriatique is proud to announce the very first Release of SIAMESE. The title Track is an almost 11 minute Trip, which tries to put the dance floor into a hypnotic state. The Layers and Synth lines create a very own vibe while the driven bass line pushes the Track forward. Although - Patterns of Eternity' never is to obvious it still manages to create a peak-time atmosphere if you let it breathe. - Womb' the B-Side is the Track most people know already, as it made is cycle around the Clubs and Festivals by now. While the A-Side wins thru it's complexity - Womb' focuses on keeping it simple. It is uncompromising Bass and Beat elements wants to make you change the - W' into a - B'.
The third and final Track is called - Quadrivia'. It reminds a little bit of the mid 2000's. Not that minimalistic but definitely inspired as that period was a big influence to Adrian + Adrian. Quadrivia starts with no sign of hurry to introduce a wobbly melody before breaking down again and comes back with full effect.

The third release in Haven's white label series keeps up its focus on crunchy dance floor bangers with the first in a line of special VA compilations with "Sardonic Tonality Vol.1".
The record starts with a bang on the A1 with a noise-drenched banger of colossal proportions from everyone's favourite UK modular wizard Ansome - mammoth kicks, crisp percussion, and a rolling synth line ensure a moving dungeon dance floor in this leviathan of a track. This is followed by a trippy smasher from Haven co-head Keepsakes on the A2, featuring twisted vocal samples, hellish pads, and pounding drum patterns for fans of demonic techno heaters.
The B-side is kicked off with a hectic pounder from New Frames on the B1, with a hyperactive EBM-style bass-line, tight drum programming and contorted voices making up a frenetic dance floor weapon. Finally, the release ends with a creepy, tumultuous journey from Russia's Draag on the B2. Evolving, pulsating synth work and frenzied percussion make up this fevered march down a wormhole, closing out yet another soundtrack to society's decay from the Haven team.

For the upcoming release on KNTXT, label boss Charlotte de Witte announces a dual EP release. “The Selected EP and Pressure EP, to me, are the perfect reflection of the music I have been playing over the years.” says Charlotte de Witte. “On the Selected EP people will find the straightforward Techno sound with the Acid twist, that I love to bring to the floor when I’m touring.”
“It’s counterpart, the Pressure Ep, is an extension of the mixes that I assemble for my BBC Residency.
A more ambient approach, that’s rougher around the edges.”“Both releases can be seen as an ode to the techno I love and cherish.” concludes de Witte. On the subject of the dual release Charlotte says “For me this duality is essential to explore my interests both as a producer and DJ. Therefore it also made sense to me to release them simultaneously, as we also combine our label releases with events and our weekly radio show.”

Heinrich Dressel was an archaeologist, epigraphist and numismatist, creator of a table, still in use, for the cataloging of Roman amphorae. For over ten years, one of the founders of MinimalRome, Valerio Lombardozzi, has embraced the name of the German scholar, becoming both the guardian of a dense collection of sounds from the past and the creator of new brilliant electronic ones. “Completion Of The Amphoras Table”, originally released on cd by Legowelt's Strange Life Records, was the final chapter of the so-called 'Studium Amphorae Trilogy', a triptych of albums which tried to 'evoke' in notes not only the discoveries and the studies of Monte Testaccio's fragments made by the former pupil of Theodor Mommsen.
The first vinyl release of “Completion Of The Amphoras Table”, curated by Souterraine.org and Envlp_Imprint, fills not only a recording void, but also gives posterity a remarkable album to rediscover, worthy successor of “Mons Testaceum” (2007 ) and “Escape From The Hill” (2008),
which reconstructs one more time the ghostly atmosphere of a Rome at the dawn of the 20th century. Heinrich Dressel adopts the stylistic features of gloomy soundtracks and, above all, relies on a set of polyphonic synthesizers that, starting from the rare Elka Syntex, favor the composition of abstract textures, punctuated by some appropriate variations, and harmonies which, net of the
deep bass, make every single track even more magnetic.
New release on Eye Teeth by Israel Vines featuring the hybrid Techno Bass Electro anthem Gatekeepers', the dark techno gem Unscathed' and the ambient Repose in Dub'.
We started this sublabel as way of exploring pure and experimental techno in an entirely contemporary context (where IT often uses historical lenses and a wider musical context). This is Techno from Detroit and America, not Detroit Techno. We would like to see American Techno evolve, and this new imprint is an attempt to be a catalyst in that arena.
This EP was pre-mastered by Neel at Enisslab Studio in Rome. The vinyl was mastered by Carl at Trutone and pressed at Archer Records in Detroit.

Aula Magna Records presents Atmen by Mekas, a storming record that reveals the artist's latest techno explorations in
full effect, featuring Stockholm LTD label boss P r Grindvik as guest remixer. A techno statement shaped by melodic
and rhythmic interactions that draw the listener into the artist's profound sound world.
The A-side opens with the powerful beat of Clark Nova, a cut that moves forward with a modulating synth line and simple
but cleverly designed percussions. This is followed by Unknown Soldier, an intense techno weapon that reflects the
distinctive sound of Mekas.
The B-side features both versions of Atmen, starting off with P r Grindivik's dance-floor rework of the title track that
combines a fresh arpeggiated motif and a powerful groove with the emotional spirit of the original. Atmen closes the
record, an epic ambient techno track built with deep atmospheric synth lines on an intelligent stripped down breakbeat.
Alpha 606 on IT with a visionary remix from Anthony Shake' Shakir. A secret dance floor anthem that works in almost any context from BMG and a beautiful spaced out take on Electronic Flotation Device' by Erika.
This was the last record mastered by Mark Richardson at Prairie Cat Mastering. All tunes from the lost Alpha 606 LP Afto-Cuban Electronics'.
Miami post bass from a Cuban perspective. What is it to be an exile of the country you love The largely Cuban city Hialeah, part of the sprawling Miami metropolis, is home to not only Alpha 606's exiled family, but also to Miami Bass.

THE GOOPY GOONS ARE BACK with another collection of twisted American electronics. For those not familiar, CP/BW is a collaboration between Corporate Park (aka Shane English/Jonah Lange) and Beau Wanzer. This second LP collects tracks from various recording sessions done in Texas over the past 5 years. Humid ditties, bumpkin beats, toothless treats, and only for the freaks.
The celebrated Dutch techno producer debuts on Token with Inner Call, a four track EP showcasing the veteran's dynamic, puristic approach to the genre.
The music sits neatly in and amongst the outlet's distinguished catalogue - honing in with considerable precision on the very essence of the Token sound.
A powerful, streamlined vision of contemporary techno, Inner Call highlights the producer's time honoured ability to walk the line between pulsing, hypnotic workouts & outright peak time tools - stripping back the work to include nothing but the most vital components to deadly effect.

The forthcoming falling ethics effort (FEXLVN003) contains tracks by three stalwarts of modern day techno. UVB's 3000 years of lies is a work of percussive endurance which contains five minutes of thumping drums, a low down synth roar and several squeeks of fx. Kastil's Arcanism is an hypnotic endavour into uncharted territories. The main sounds have a repetitive and clear quality that pierce through eardrums and will grab the attention of crowds. Amsterdam based Dimi Angelis closes down this three track effort. ''Flirting With The Machine'' is a lenghty voyage into pure synthesis. A monotonous sound with razor sharp clarity serves as the spine of this track while the kickdrum dictates the pace. Adventurous music at it's best.

Next in store for the prestigious Icelandic label AE Recordings is a collaboration between well-known Icelandic & Russian artists. The Moscow legend Anton Kubikov delivers a beautiful & haunting minimal techno track, bound to encapsulate the essence of Russian winter - while SCSI-9 offers a dubby and a hypnotic techno anthem. The Icelandic regulars of the label bring their goods to the table. The ever-intriguing collaboration of Ohm & Octal Industries never ceases to disappoint - and their contribution is an intriguing atmospheric deep house track, ideal for home-listening as well for the late-night rooms. The Thule Records label boss Thor offers a musical equivalent of a megafauna with his track - heavy hitting dub chords, mindbending delays & that little extra magic that we all love from the Icelandic god of thunder. Essential for the record bag!

In the early nineties, directly influenced by the Summer of Love of 1988, Florentine Riccardo Falsini began his project I Believe-a miscellaneous collection of records, compilations, and collaborations-released through his label Interactive Test (co-run with brother Franco Falsini).
These sounds would eventually reach Vancouver-based producer AVR (Avery La Rochelle) in the summer of 2018. Compelled by Riccardo's legacy as a producer and a deejay, Avery reached out to the Italian producer.
A friendship formed that would see them collaborate on various dance events in Vancouver, as well as their Outside Of Time EP, a reverie of hallucinatory trance music. Over the past year, the duo recorded these tracks with the free spirit of early rave culture in mind.
Outside Of Time is certified dance floor therapy that inspires the listener to believe in the power of love and music.

GMT (Phil Moffa, Guy Gerber and Seth Troxler) heads of the A side with a bang. The haunting strings of the original wind their way through drums reminiscent of jacking 90's house before the
drop of the classic Decompression bassline, chopped and spliced sure to make your mid section feel nice.
Mike Shannon touches down with a modular synth rework that takes the original and twists it into a modern acid trip and groove signature of his programming style. Like surfing a spaceship through a technicolor wormhole to planet funk.
Deadbeat shows his strength with a spaced out dub version. A master of his craft he delivers a reverb drenched, morphing grove that will transport your head to an indica haze.
Natalia Escobar stretches the pulls the track into an intense ambient time machine. This escape into the 5th dimension will induce shivers down your spine and make your 3rd eye burst into flames.
We hope you enjoy the work of these talented navigators! Safe travels :
Volume 3 is still to come and will feature DJ Rush, DJ Sodeyama, Quenum and S Katz (a.k.a.Katsuhiko).
Amsterdam based Leyla records presents part two of it's various artists compilation, this time bringing together a host of international artists, as well as a contribution from label boss Chafik Chennouf.
The four tracker commences with Insufferable People from label regular Manni Dee. Following his spectacular EP on Perc Trax, Dee delivers a dancefloor roller containing punctilious sound design integral to his work, with vocals from the artist superimposed over crunchy drums, riding the waves of submerged synths.
Track two from France's Von Grall offers a similar treat for DJs, this time with more introspective elements working in harmony with with propulsive polyrhythms. As the track creeps forward the revelation of drones and synth lines further involves the listener and contributes to a musical landscape populated by rhythmically independent segments, coalescing to form a cogent whole.
Head honcho Chafik Chennouf injects light in to the darkness on the B1 with Kosmai, redolent of EBM style funk rhythms. The stolid arpeggios function as the foundation for percussive interplay which propel the track in to new territory as it progresses. The 90s rave influence becomes apparent as the automations mould and shape the multidimensional lead.
The closer, Useless Landscape, from Japan's Katsunori Sawa immediately immerses the listener as the concrete groove is quickly overtaken by field recordings and a unique tonality emerging through layered drones and warped artefacts. Reminiscent of his work with Yuji Kondo as Steven Porter, the track unveils an intimacy through detail, while maintaing distance through evolving layers of sound creating mystery and magic.

Since becoming a Berghain resident in 2017, Dominick Fernow's risk-taking hybrid live/DJ sets as Vatican Shadow have become conduits for infusing techno with contrasting musical ideas - from noise, industrial and ambient to distorted melodies and rhythms that push the club's borders in unexpected ways.
It's an idiosyncratic approach to techno rooted not only in Fernow's 25-plus years as an experimental and noise musician under more than a dozen aliases (e.g. Prurient, Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement) but also in his role as founder of the vital New York-based Hospital Productions, whose discography exceeds some 500 releases. The label - which in 2017 celebrated its 20-year anniversary - is also home to the majority of Vatican Shadow output to date.
Under that alias, Fernow's numerous albums and 12's (including 2017's Rubbish of The Floodwaters on Ostgut Ton) oscillate between ominous, distorted machine-funk, techno and ambient electronics; equal parts noise, melody and rhythm. Since 2011, the project's intentionally ambiguous visual identity has been defined by War on Terror-related imagery and track titles - and the media's role therein.
Both the Berghain 09 mix and accompanying exclusive 12's - featuring exclusive tracks by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Virile Games, Los Angeles Death Cult, Ron Morelli, Volvox, JK Flesh, Alberich, Ugandan Methods Prurient and Merzbow - reflect Vatican Shadow's composite musical influences and relationship to Berghain as a club. Stylistically, the two vinyls are divided between clubbier and experimental electronics, with vocal samples of Genesis P-Orridge acting as a bridge between the two. All tracks on Side D end in locked grooves.
As Fernow describes in his own words:
'My interest in DJing developed naturally out of industrial music traditions such as mail art, tape trading, and sound collage. While this mix, of course, does not solely focus on cassettes, they were used as the bridge between the seemingly disparate areas and cross-sections of underground electronic edits you will find sewn together from diverse factions to create a sonic 'cut up'. Accordingly, the artists featured with exclusive tracks span several continents and generations of electronic music subculture, from the birth of industrial in the UK and the rhythmic loops of Japanese noise, to the raw collision of genres found in the NYC underground. Berghain 09 is a tribute to the techno mixtapes that influenced me during my introduction to raves and dance music in the 90s.'

4 techno tracks with rave and '90 trance sounds, wisely mixed with modern ones. Lucretio in the A side with an industrial digital track; same taste for Dove Quiete's track. The B side is characterized by two melodic and trance tracks from Albanish People and Stic.
Clash of the Techno Titans. Floorplan (aka Robert Hood and Lyric Hood) go toe to toe with Mark Broom for an all new rumble in the 'Jungle'. This monster split EP sees the official release of the highly sought after Mark Broom Edit of Floorplan's huge Gospel powered house monster 'Never Grow Old'. This ultimate secret weapon for a select few DJs over the last few years is backed by the equally mega Re-plant version of 'He Can Save You' which gets some extra Techno power under the Hood. The EP is rounded off by Mark Broom's double combination in the guise of 'Jungle'. Knockout!

Italian based Ribbon Recordings presents an EP from the legendary Ken Ishii also including remixes by Manuel Di Martino, Adiel, Mute8 and Matti Trani.
In terms of his influence, Ken Ishii’s legacy puts him alongside the likes of Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin, as he is one of the people who helped establish the techno genre. Thanks to his iconic releases on labels like R&S that gave him huge exposure in places like Europe that were far from his native Japan.
Still one of the most respected and highly revered people in electronic music, this release is another fine example of why Ken Ishii has managed to maintain such a vibrant career spanning over two decades.
Italian artist Manuel Di Martino is label owner of Persistence but has also featured on other labels like Suara, Etruria Beat and Dynamic Reflection.
Adiel is one of Italy’s most talked-about new talents, and she is already playing regular gigs across Europe along with release tracks on labels such as Ara and Danza Tribale.
Ribbon Recordings regulars Mute8 are a duo consisting of Gigi Galli and Dave Manuel who have also contributed tracks on other imprints including SK BLACK and Nice To Be Records.
Mattia Trani has released often on his own label Pushmaster Discs, but has also featured on other imprints such as On Edge Society, Uncage, with his tracks picking up support by everyone from Robert Hood to Amelie Lens.
The original track “Landslide” has a stripped-back style with thrashing percussion and dark atmosphere cut by stabbing synths and a pounding kick drum. Manuel Di Martino adds a modulating lead synth to his intensified, hypnotic version, and Adiel keeps things flowing in the zone with added ambience. Mute8 stays true to the vibe of the original but adds claps and a swarming pad, before Mattia Trani closes the release with a jackin' groove and ominous synth bursts.

"MUSAR" is excited about the return of MANASYt - Bulgaria's electro-synth pioneer, for ’Inferior Subjects', a new album, bubbling with madness and loaded with darkwave sounds. The 2nd part of MANASYt's lost tracks series, recorded between 2000's to 2010's and found in his old PC.
For his second release on MUSAR, Petar Tassev collected some of his best unreleased works to date, inspired by metal and new-wave music then interpreting the moody, roughness to a raw, pure and dark adventure, like no one else does. 'Inferior Subjects' consists of 8 dark and psychotic tracks that will take you deep into a futuristic dystopian world adventure - Opener ''Screw The Routine'' is a dark-wave fetishistic killer, pushing the clubby electronic music borders to new limits.
''Terminal Medicine'' is a deep psychedelichorror soundtrack to a very bad day at your dentist while ''Daylight For 15 Seconds‘' (inspired by the Belgian film 'Nuit Noire') is a slow hazy burner that will send you straight to the mental clinic ''Positive Deception'' is the anthem of the aliens while attacking earth, ’'Secret Time'' will lock you in a room where time moves backwards and forwards at the same time and ''Insect Sect'' a mystic electro piece of music for
a deep nightmare.
Closing the album - ''Metacontol'' and ''God of Chance'' two evil energetic electro bombs, pure chaos and full of post-punk elements, perfect for fetish party/techno rave, fitting for an artist given to performing live in a rubber 'gimp' mask. 'Inferior Subjects' will mark the beginning of 'MUSAR's' new limited Cassette Tape series that will focus on producers edgy sides and the wonderful weird side of electronic music.

After our first reissue of The Mover in 2014, Forbidden Planet is back with two-part reissue of seminal material from the late 90s to early 00s by Doomcore pioneer, Fifth Era. Fifth Era consisted of a group of musicians from the UK and Czech Republic who pushed a slower, darker version of Hardcore. Their transgressive style had an irrefutable impact on the underground and we hope that this release goes a way to reintroduce Fifth Era’s unique sound to a new generation. Vinyl only.

In December 2015 VICTOR RUIZ and I released our first collaboration - APOLLO EP. It was the beginning of a wondrous, passionate and inspiring journey. A journey of growth, friendship and artistic exchange. Victor and I are proud to present you APOLLO II - a testament to our love and dedication to TECHNO MUSIC.
To kick-start Artificial Dance's 2018 release programme, the label has once again delved deep into the darkest corners of the Dutch electronic underground. The result is a debut solo EP from another future hero, Hague-based Pasiphae.
Born in Greece, Pasiphae took up DJing and music production when she moved to the Netherlands five years ago. By 2016, she was confident enough to hold her own in the studio with Intergalactic Gary, with the resulting collaborative 12', Made of Glass, winning praise for its floor-rocking rhythms and throbbing electronic instrumentation.
The Siphax EP, her first solo outing, is arguably even better. Packed with mutant alien funk (the superb title track), horror-fired dancefloor dystopia (throbbing opener Tachynons') and skewed electronic soundscapes ( Vertical Rotation', which sounds like it could have been taken from the soundtrack of an early '80s art-house movie), the six tracks offer a neat summary of Pasiphae's unique musical world.
Check out, in particular, the two-part murkiness and late night hum of Quelque Chose De Mauvais' and Quelque Chose De Mal', which are creepy and clandestine in equal measure. If that's not enough to set the pulse racing, turn your attention to EP closer Hedera', a beat-less but rhythmic romp through muggy, psychedelic pastures.

Aural Imbalance dives deeper into the sonic hues and palettes touched on by his “Propagation of Light” album. “Transparent Blue” comes at that trademark AI sound from a different production ethos on each tune, bending the predefined boundaries of dance genres and their subcategories. Simon’s goal this turn was to form an album playable as standalone songs and symbiotic as a holistic listening experience. Mission accomplished.

Coyu is back on Noir Music and this time stronger than ever.
He serves up a double a-side with the haunting techno tune "Salvation"
and the LFO oldschool inspired "Future House".
We fell in love with both tracks on the spot and are happy to have such a
strong release by Coyu on Noir Music. Remixes will follow late summer.
We are the ones who define us. Such is the message of The Eskapist. A special character in the Figure universe, his productions have come to forge their own cosmos entirely, telling a mysterious tale of love, intrigues and techno.
Technology sits at this EPs heart, its machine-made tracks creating ambience, vitality and suspense across its varied runtime. It‘s tooly at times, yet all tunes sit and breathe their own distinct air, be it the shoving chords of upbeat (A1), an inquiry into the nature of reality on (A2), tunneling abysmal buzz that is (B1), or the stark computer-stomp of (B2). Ending on a philosophical note, The Eskapist underlines their mission statement as transporting meaning beyond their musicality and reminds us of our freedom and responsibility to define ourselves

Shaw Cuts enters the site of crime with its first release called 'Have Sword, Will Travel'.The EP includes 4 techno assassins - two tracks by the label founder himself LaChriz, who introduces his shaolin moniker 'Farron' and 2 remixes by the argentinian boxer Jonas Kopp. 'Equinox' opens the slaughter with shaking break-beat punches in combination with atmospheric pads surrounding the drum jabs. Ti Lung would have been pleased.
The track 'Apo-G' comes in sly and chases the enemy with dirty drums and menacing distorted sound spheres that will morph the bad guys into dead guys - throwing star style. The B-side gets taken over all the way by Jonas Kopp, who brings up two different remixes of 'Equinox' that can easily cut off the rival's extremities like a sharp guillotine. And the carnage just begun...

It's almost impossible to don't have a look at all the rising talents that surround us - and the guys of Jamahr are surely one of them. North Italy based, Mario and Jacopo joined forces back in 2008 and since then they've constantly put a lot of passion and dedication into their music, working under the alias of Jamahr. Noticed by Yaya a while ago, they've also attract the attention of the European scene with releases on Rich NxT's own 'NxT Records', Sleepless Musik and Kina Music to name a few. We're super happy to see that 'Chordelia' EP is finally set for an official release, which also features a remix by Diego Krause.
'Chordelia' it's an opening track that starts with a dry lowend part until swing drums jump in. The entire track insists on a fresh and racy synth line that perfectly fits with the groove.
Stepping up to tackle the original, with a club approach, Berlin's Diego Krause (Berg Audio, Salty Nuts) use some vocal loops and a some funky shot, enriching the groove and delivering a great version of 'Chordelia'.
On the B side, 'Brotherhood' is about the special synergy between these guys, exposing the contrast between the gentle pads against the electric scratchy synths. The groovy and rolling analog bassline finds an intense groove with whispered vocal shots drifting in and out of the mix.
Closing the affairs is 'Qaacker' where pulsating toms and hi hats encounter mystical long tailed pads and synths into a majestic and dreamy progression. The break is just magical and it's studded with glitched drums and percussions. Definitely the perfect track to complete an ashtonish EP.

Planet Rhythm is gearing up for the second effort in their PRRUKBLK series. Both Moerbeck and Fanon Flowers have come up with 2 gritty peak-time anthems made out of heavy drum-action, distortion and hazardous percussion. Moerbeck's A-Side is a ferm combination of granular synthesis and vigorous drums. Where "Black Hand" recalls memories of graveyard shifts in soviet coal mines, the A2 track Mode evokes up a more tripped out state of mind.
Fanon Flowers lays down a more ominous ambiance for his B1 track that has the more than suitable title "Vultures Circling Part 3". Closing down the B side we find "Vultures Circling Part 1" which carries that same threatening vibe but with even more energy due to the use of abundant percussion.
Not Waving aka Alessio Natalizia is back. His Human Capabilities album was one of the highlights of the label in 2014, so it seems only right to get 4 artists to create their own unique versions for this EP. Starting with Pye Corner Audio, Martin Jenkins solo proto-electronica project has been a growing success since fist putting his cult tape recordings to vinyl. A great live performance at Cafe Oto got the label wanting more and the recent split LP release with Not Waving on Ecstatic Recordings made a remix
inevitible and he does not disappoint. 7 minutes of brooding, slo-mo dub dance s a perfect opening, haunting and searching in equal measure. This is followed by the new project from Valentina Magaletti (Shit & Shine) and Tom Relleen (The Oscillation). Tomaga's recent debut LP Futura Grotesk is a mesh of live expermenation of electronica meets percussive, kosmiche interplay and worth checking. Taking the industrial loops of the original they provide a improvised jam of drums, bass and anything to hand to trip the light fantastic. Perfect. On the flp, we head for the dark corners of a (techno) basement via L/F/D/M's remix of Double Blind. With releases on Optimo Trax and Clan Destine Trax, Richard Smith's project seemed perfect to take
on the industrial dance of the original. Stripping things right back, the core of the track is looped incessantly for maximum intensity before far away melodies bring you back again. Finally, the EP closes with a wonderous remix from drone specialist Abul Mogard. With his recent SchleiBen split series LP on the label, Abul is again at his best, taking the melodic ambience of the original and modulating it in to a brooding and emotional remix that is a perfect marraige of the artists minds.

2x12".
January is the month for dreaming, or so the saying goes and there’s more than enough on 2020’s Dots and Pearls 6 to satisfy the wildest flights of fantasy, as Cocoon Recordings invites well known international artists to once again rub shoulders with some of the freshest new talents around.
First up, Eduardo de la Calle & Romina Cohn’s “I’m Losing My Mind“ does a decent job helping us lose ours. Taking the classic DBX template as a start point, Cohn‘s random, spaced out musings elevate things to another level as they filter through all manner of machinery, bathing the hypnotic percussion in a lysergic glow. Fabe’s “Call of Origin“ pulls no punches either, the energetic, bass driven intro bouncing its way centre stage before expanding into lush open spaces with occasional melodic scatters and washes of warm pads that radiate good vibes.
Over the last couple of years, Adana Twins have rightly consolidated there position at the top table, so it’s a pleasure to have them on board with “Origo“. Like snake charmers relentlessly teasing and twisting the infectious hook line in all manner of directions, they demonstrate complete control of their art, pushing all the right buttons to bring things nicely to the boil. As with all Cocoon compilations the deeper you dive, the stranger the vibe and Juan Sanchez delivers a dose of trance-inducing, minimal techno. Abiding by the same dogma as the track before, “Narcissus“ offsets a constantly morphing hypnotic hook line with raw, stripped 909 beats in a classic mid 90‘s style.
Michael Klein’s “Continuation“ maintains the intensity as Cocoon’s Techno Tardis transports the listener even further back to a sweaty early nineties warehouse. It could be London, it could be Berlin... wherever it is, it sure sounds like home. Rico Puestel then snuffs out the candle, plunging us back into darkness. With “Perpetua Mobilia“ he unleashes a deep, prowling beast of a track that reminds us that just when you think you‘ve got a handle on Cocoon, it sheds its skin again, revealing yet another mask behind the mask.
As we motor on towards morning, Radu Dracul adds some bite to proceedings with “Spectrae“, a slow burning psychedelic trip with gently percolating acid lines that smooth out the rough textures of the preceding tracks before giving way to a cavernous breakbeat inflected breakdown. And then finally, Joe Metzenmacher and Borka & The Gang close out the collection, paying homage to the melodic side of Detroit with the quirky, idiosyncratic yet ultimately beautiful “Magic Talk“. It surrounds the dance floor in a warm embrace as keys, strings and bass combine effortlessly to produce a priceless moment of collective euphoria that sees us safely home.

Technorama records is proud to welcome Whim-ee into its release catalogue.Whim-ee aka Sara Garcia is a French dj/producer. Originally from Recife (Brazil), she relocated to Paris as a child where she began her journey in music via nine years of classical piano schooling. Whim-ee later began experimenting with electronic music, injecting her own unique fusion of house, techno, jazz, funk and soul. She also manages her own labels ; Tao-Dan Records and W-EE Records.Following up releases on labels such as Got2go, Chilli Mint Music and Nite Grooves, Whim-ee carries influences primarily from Chicago and Detroit into her forward-reaching productions that are consistently suffused with a tough and gritty sense of soul. Very deep and unique in her style and vibe Whim-ee & Myles Sergé join forces here with two brilliant chicago/detroit house techno cuts. The icing on the cake are the two remixes from legendary Norm Talley (FXHE, Sushitech, Third Ear) and promised talent Plural (Metroplex, Another Earth). Few records have gained such a legendary status as Chiapet's Tick Tock. The 12" single, released in 1997, brings back memories for any house or techno DJ of the era.
Now it is making its return as a Yoshi Classic, with fresh remixes from Loco & Jam, Robosonic, and Perc.
Loco & Jam's mix is a nothing short of a powerhouse.
About as driving as techno gets and armed to the teeth with noise, it has become a staple in Sharam's recent sets.
He says of the mix, I can count on that one to go off every time. Robosonic opts for a more groovy approach to the record, using the original chords to create pumping rhythms ideal for peak filler and evening sets. It's not quite house, but not quite techno, the diverse duo once again shows they're comfortable working with a variety of sound palettes.
Finally there is Perc, whose remix is exactly what you would expect from the industrial techno figurehead. Dark and delightfully twisted, it will surely find a happy home in the corridors of Berghain.
Of course to round out the package, we've had the original Apocalypse Now mix remastered by Pole, and his delivery was exquisite. Huge yet dynamic, new life has been breathed into this classic mix. We hope you enjoy this Yoshi Classic remix package and will join us in celebrating the return of Tick Tock.

Two tracks aimed at the floor, With a running theme being the human voice, from screaming to singing and laughing.
"Vocals aren’t a rarity in dance music obviously, but I wanted to experiment with them in a more instrumental and textural sense. Plus I think you don’t hear enough kinda weird shit in the more formulaic dance tunes - only on the more experimental edges of club music ya kno?”.

Tassilo Vanhöfen was a hot topic of conversation amongst many DJs and labels in the extended circle of sophisticated music afficionados. At some point in the first half of 2019 his productions popped up on SoundCloud and word of mouth made him receive many requests for his productions, when Neubau already sealed the deal for his first ever solo EP. Three subtle but dancefloor-aimed tracks that many have been waiting for will be included on the much-anticipated "War Manual Of Gear EP"

Sungate's 5th release is titled Magnetic Field #1, a V/A made up by Artefakt, Conforce, Exos and Hiver. A magnetic field can be defined in several ways based on the effects it has on its environment. In this case, the environment would be represented by the listener, and the Magnetic Field would be the record. Coincidentally, there has recently been renewed interest in the effects of magnetic fields on biological cells, so be prepared to see where this EP takes you.

After a digital single on Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, Optimo Music welcomes Bergsonist to the main label with a full album. Ridiculously talented and prolific, Bergsonist is one of thee most interesting, thoughtful and important artists of our times.
Bergsonist aka Selwa Abd is a New York–based artist and musician originally from Morocco. She is the founder of Bizaarbazaar, a music platform and publication that publishes podcasts and interviews by DJs and producers from around the world.
Under the guise Bergsonist (derived from Deleuze’s Bergsonism),
she uses a variety of media to investigate social resonance through divergent conceptual aesthetics (minimalism, techno, and music concrete, to name a few). Through her work, she explores notions of identity, memory, and social politics.
In 2017, she started Pick Up The Flow, a resource to promote congregation and exchange between peers. Currently, co-run with Stephen Decker. In 2019, she co-founded 3afak with DJ Sanna, a collective that aims to empower Arab women’s creative vision in
New York.
Words about the album:
Middle Ouest is an ode to my history, present and future self. Like a sonic autobiography, It’s the first body of work that realistically depicts my identity. It’s a statement towards all the people who tried to put me into a box. I’m not a box but a genre-less ocean. I don’t make genres, I just make music I feel making in the moment.
It’s all about capturing the moment in a given time. If the aesthetic happens to be house or techno then it is. But I’m not a techno artist... I’m just a free sonic ‘voyageur’. I make music as i feel the world; it can be dark, jovial, weird… I mirror the feelings into sonic compositions. However, the only variables that never change in this equation are the message and intention.
What about to blend the best talents and skills of ebm totems (such as Front 242 or Armageddon Dildos) with some recent industrial funk influences (such as Valis or High- Functioning Flesh) and then add the energy & the rage of being 20 years old nowadays ... ?
THAT’S CHROME CORPSE (Seattle/USA).
Extracted from their first album “ANYTHING THAT MOVES”, “DETECTING MOVEMENT” represents their vinyl debut and for sure the beginning of a very succesful professional career.
All tracks have been specially remastered for LONG CUT vinyl by Daniel Hallhuber at Young and Cold Studios (Germany).
Dino Sabatini drops us 2 hypnotic techno tracks with solid grooves and strong ambient pads. Dino is well known for his personal touch into the deep techno scene consolidated in the past years with many release and with his own label (Outis Music). His "Monochromatic Reality" EP is a masterpiece of syncopated rhythms and hypnotic pads, a mental trip in a constantly change with micro-movements of rhythm and groove. The remix of Svreca close the circle and fits so good with the direction of Dino's work, pushing the trip above all limits.

Nico Nightingale as "Neud Photo" has been on a tear lately and this latest offering for Mysidian shows up as his most dark and menacing. The electro meets techno sound we know him for is still prevalent but the amnesia-inducing ‘Dreamz’ also carries thumping EBM and New Beat influences. R&S meets Subway meets Mute.
While each track plays on it’s own themes independently with tasteful vocal samples and industrial energy, the thing they all have in common is obvious. They completely satisfy aural wishes excited only during states of R.E.M. They are simply and undisguisedly realizations of wishes.

The official soundtrack from the Netflix movie 'Kidnapping Stella' gets remix treatments by dub techno mastermind Vril and Berlin local Anja Zaube on the A-side, as well as DUATRECORDS labelheads Amin Fallaha and R100 on the flipside.
Berlin based, Manchester born producer who needs little introduction releases the 8th installment of his SK_eleven label.
In keeping with the aesthetics of the label's previous release SK11007PT1, Sam pushes things further on Exrela, with the title track edging the boundaries of his sound, the stripped back full force drums running throughout, are met harmoniously with the otherworldly atmospheres immersing the track, while the addictive, polyrhythmic sequence keeps you hooked throughout. The B1 track "Maniac" tones things down a notch - percussive and lighthearted bells undulate while the percussion maintains the momentum and intensity. "Dispute" rounds off the EP, the cut harking back to his older, melodic roots albeit with a fresh twist.

Eduardo De La Calle s recent Distortion Theory III EP on Abstract Reasoning was another impressive piece of work from the prolific producer. Now come four diverse remixes of the title track, each with their own unique twist on the warped machinations of the original.
J - Keel kicks off proceedings with a droning, tense interpretation which toughens up the original considerably. Reversed chord stabs pitch up and down as ominous bass bores a steady course through the track s underbelly, with ticking percussive elements ensuring a motorik pulse.
The masterful Roman Fl gel teases out the chime motif of the original and supplements them with muted marimba-esque arpeggios for a soothing, underwater feel. The beats are kept to a succinct minimum, with subtle swathes of strings bringing a majestic, dreamlike tinge to this refined, minimalistic production.
Fellow Spaniard ORBE brings an ambient feel to the hazy, delicate melodics of his mix, with the delayed, warped synth patterns that struggle to be heard and beautiful atmospherics recalling Carl Craig. Moments of distorted pressure seep through and remind us of the buggedout flavour of the original.
Holland s Conforce rounds things off with plump low end throbs and sparse synth pulses reminiscent of Basic Channel, with gently shuffling hi-hats underpinning the murky yet warm textures and broad, heavily reverbed swathes of chord drama.
Ferdinger's third release is a statement of intent for his now Paris based "Life In Patterns" label: Streamlined harmonies and fast-paced tempi provide for high-octane techno tracks, the intense atmosphere yet at times being contrasted by rich and blissful moments of ambient flavoured calm. The 5-track EP also features remixes by Raar and Trudge.

Civil Disobedience's seventh and debut vinyl release welcomes Polish artist, TAKA, to the family. TAKA presents 1610, an exceptionally personal and moving collection of music written and produced during a period of coming to terms with her father's passing. In her own words, "I began to feel strong again when I was creating this music." This is an EP where emotions of the darkest and lightest kind dance together.
TAKA executes her story in rough and ready beats, quirky and randomised percussion, with intense and emotive leads progressing throughout each track.
Entrusted to remix such precious material is TAKA's friend, Gareth Wild, who has crafted a signature heavy duty techno destroyer of "Cry Cry. "Cry Cry" especially promises to leave its mark on listeners, its leading chords are a raw melodic masterpiece, underpinned with a pummelling bassline. This piece of music penetrates the soul, awakens the subconscious, and leaves you radiating with profound hope and knowing. Those who hear it do not forget it.

RotRaum Music celebrates it´s 5th anniversary with this longplayer
and selected new exclusive tracks as well as remixes from digital releases.
Advanced Education - a résumé, a status quo, a look into the future.
The first track, Kinky T´s "Epoca Musica", is a hypnotizing techno composition with a deep atmosphere

while Adelante & Vogel come with a dark, analog piece of techno: "Gerät" stomps and breathes,
both threatening and electrifying.
The B-side starts with Nick da Cruz & Bill Wilson´s nice grooving techhouse remix of "Transition",
which doesn´t deny the acid flavour of the Original by Pezuta.
Blacks On Blondes finally report back with the funky and percussive techhouse tune "Jack Is Back",
and the Mr Gil - "Forever This" remix by Dj Wank completes the LP with a pumping beat and biting 303-lines.

Erol Alkan invites two much-loved talents work their own familiar magic on 'Spectrum'. Monocode seeks the root code of techno with the release of the EP Solitude by Kaiser.
Two original tracks hit the ground running to the beat of a mechanical war drum, aggressive and determined: today's Spartans charging into the night. The title track "Solitude" storms into a dark basement of flashing strobes and lasers. "Another Platform" is a cavalry charge at full gallop. The smooth roll of the beat maintains the pressure as you put miles onto your sneakers against the rave's concrete floor.
Two remixes continue the charge at their own pace. The first is a bouncier beat stripped of its heavy bass, punctuated by cymbals and classic hand claps to lighten the mood. The last track on the EP might at first seem like you could catch your breath, but it's only swinging around to flank the beat from a more angular direction.

ZONAL, the brainchild of Justin Broadrick (Godflesh/Jesu/JK Flesh) and Kevin Martin (The Bug/King Midas Sound) present their monumental Relapse Records debut, Wrecked. ZONAL continues where their previous collaboration Techno Animal left off, and combines a brutal ongoing obsession with beats, bass, dub, drone, noise and riff.
Under their new guise, the enigmatic duo push the parameters and atmospheres that have earned them critical acclaim further and deeper; ZONAL's sound has become ever more corrupted, corroded, slower and lower; with the theme of exploring inner/outer space acts as the gelling agent for this shockingly monolithic sound.
Anyone who witnessed their sonic destruction and lyrical detonation c/o MOOR MOTHER at both ROADBURN and UNSOUND festivals will not be disappointed by the slo-mo meltdown.
Culled from the vast 90s archives of Brooklyn DJ and producer Adam X, these four tracks demonstrate the early experimentations of the 90s NYC acid rave scene. Tracks tailor made by the djs for the ravers, pushing acid extremes and decimating minds. A document of a time when experimentation and freedom reigned the scene.
This record includes four tracks exclusive to this 12 inch and not on the LP. Remastered at Dadub Mastering. One time pressing limited to 300 copies.
Though known as a touring and recording musician associated with Nine Inch Nails, Alessandro Cortini has really come into his own via his Forse trilogy, and his 2014 Hospital Productions debut, Sonno. For his Hospital follow-up, he maintains the grittiness and intimacy introduced on his debut, but expands on it, offering a wider spectrum of emotion and depth. Like Sonno, Risveglio was written and recorded while on tour. The drive to create intimate works during late-night downtime reveal Cortini to be committed to personal vision beyond the call of duty. While Sonno was created using only a 202 and delay, Risveglio adds a TB303, synced to the 202. In his own words, 'The 303 can be such a haunting instrument used in a certain way, and I felt it completely fit the mood of the previous work I have done on the 202, especially when given a specific location in space....it's such a living instrument.' The addition of TR606 gives one of the pieces a rhythmic pulse that separates it from the preceding synthscapes and renders Risveglioaltogether a more dynamic affair than Sonno. With Risveglio Cortini emphasizes the imperfections and visceral textures of electronics absent from so much contemporary solo synthesizer music. He carves out a similar space to that formed by Kevin Drumm's releases for the same label in the worlds of Drone and Noise by finding the emotional and, ultimately, human voice within synthesis.

2Volt strikes again with another twist. This four-tracker is accurately sculpted to make the best of every turn it makes on the slipmat.
A1 is a hypnotic banger, deeply crafted with some acid details and open hi-hats that will take you to a point of no return.
A2 has the right amount of bounce to make sure your shoes are put to the test - unexpected snares will emphasize the drive of the deep reverberated loops.
B1 is back to basics - boxy and angular synthetic sounds carefully placed in a straight 4/4 beat.
The final B2 track is all about syncopated and morbid stabs, that carefully whip back and forth in the frequency spectrum, backed up by warm pads to make sure the listener feels at hom

Transparent Orange coloured vinyl
Next up on Bonzai Vinyl we have some manic minimalistic Techno on 12” vinyl with the massive club stomper One Finger from DJ One Finger. Originally released on Planet Of Drums in 1996, this one became an instant hit with the spirited club fraternity. DJ One Finger is a project by UK Acid pioneer Tim Taylor, responsible for a number of now considered classic tracks and has released under various guises on a host of labels including Missile Records, Clockwork Recordings and Red Alert to name a few. On this release we have a 2019 remix from the newly formed O.R.B., who are stirring the pot with some tasty Techno treats on the brand-new label After Dark alongside the Original Mix from 1996.
O.R.B. is a trio of old guys who are into making proper upfront Techno using modern methods with that delicious old skool flavour. CJ Bolland is considered with legendary status amongst a generation of electronic music lovers. From his early days collaborating with like-minded enthusiasts in projects such as Space Opera, Phantom, The Project and Sonic Solution to name just a few, to laying down his first studio album titled The 4th Sign which went on to become an iconic pressing. Steve Cop has contributed heavily to Techno in the early nineties. He is the other half of Sonic Solution along with CJ and we all know the top tunes they turned out under that guise. A very much in demand DJ, Steve has played all over Belgium and more recently he has been featuring in several parties held by the mighty Bonzai. Dany (Steel) is a veteran of the Bonzai posse having released tracks under Batteries Not Included and D-Bedroom Visitors well as a few cuts on sub-labels from back in the day. Dany joins forces on the decks with Steve using his Steel persona and they are regular artists on Bonzai’s party and festival line-ups. On the remix, the guys have stayed true to the original, interpreting the main hook in all its glory with a slight twist along the way. The drums pound out a solid beat that will definitely rattle the bass bins in any venue while the bright percussions will get the asses shakin’ for sure. A superb production to give the younger generation a glimpse at how Techno should be.
The Original Mix is a wonderfully simplistic construction which gives the impression that the main hook is played with just one finger, which is most likely the case, but the impact is huge and there can be no doubt that this spawned a series of copycat style tracks over the years. The hook is mesmerising, a simple trail of 16th notes that go from polished and shiny to gnarly and distorted to the backdrop of a chaotic drum arrangement that is filled with thumping kicks, shuffling percussions and noisy snares. With the current trend in rehashing the classics, this one will fit right in at any up-for-it party.

Our next limited edition coloured 7” vinyl features the mighty Yves Deruyter’s famous Animals… (Remix) and Calling Earth, both huge classics from Bonzai regarded with legendary status, just like the creator Mr Deruyter. From those early days on Bonzai, Yves has been at the forefront, dishing out countless tracks under his own name and a host of guises and collaborations. Still rocking the scene today, producing and DJing for the masses, he has surpassed 35 years as a DJ and it doesn’t look like he will be stopping anytime soon. Be the first to get this exclusive 7” in your collection by checking on our social media and website for pre-order info, you know they will not last long once released.
Animals… (Remix) saw a release on Yves’ 1993 cut titled simply, II - which came shortly after its original counterpart in 1992. This record was the epitome of the sound of the era, a sound championed by the fledgling Bonzai and its dedicated troupe of artists. Hoover synths, frantically pulsing and sweeping against a full-on thumping beat and chaotic percussion arrangement. What more could anyone have wanted in a strobe filled club or arena, a mighty track no doubt. Yves then gave us Calling Earth in 1994 which was the A-side to IV (backed with Rave City). The track opened with that hollow tube sound laced with bright hats, leading to a solid, pounding beat and then on to that infectious melody line. This one quickly rose to mega status among throngs of ravers and DJ's. A string of remixes followed as well as multiple releases over the years making this the ultimate classic.

(transparent vinyl in custom transparent sleeve) Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens' Lenske for his second 12" on the Belgian label, 'Rave Cycle'. This new record sounds like it could have been released in 1994. He uses references from rave, acid and gabber together with his fresh approach, the result are 4 club-ready cuts to hit massive sound systems.
Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens' Lenske for his second 12" on the Belgian label, 'Rave Cycle'. Previous solo EPs on Molekul, on his Elixyr and the acclaimed 'Voltage' EP on Lenske earlier this year have brought him to play at some of the most emblematic clubs of the international circuit and become part of the Exhale showcases. Following a new round of bombastic releases by the Lenske crew: Farrago, Milo Spykers and Lens herself, it's now the turn for the Elixyr Records boss to bring the heat.
As expected from AIROD, this new record sounds like it could have been released in 1994. He uses references from rave, acid and gabber together with his fresh approach, the result are 4 club-ready cuts to hit massive sound systems. The A side features the title track 'Rave Cycle' and 'Falling Angels' that with epic narrative and 303 conquering waves become perfect anthems for sweaty warehouse parties. 'Bloodshed' on the flip-side illustrates Dario's acid exercises in pure form while 'Fury' is the final weapon to burn the dance-floor with hardcore vibes.
