Cinthie joins the roster of Aus Music this November with her 'Trust' EP, comprising three original cuts from the Berlin artist. Founder of several imprints, namely Beste Modus, we_r_house and 803 Crystalgrooves, as well as her own label collective and record store brand Elevate, native Berliner Cinthie has become a highly respected figure in electronic music in her hometown and across the globe over the past few years. Most notably known for her long standing as a DJ primarily, yet recent months have seen Cinthie build her own studio and dedicate much of her time to carefully crafting the music she's always longed to. This new EP for Will Saul's Aus Music is a product of this time spent and marks the next phase for Cinthie's productions. Title-track 'Trust' leads on the package, fuelled by an infectious marimba style percussive melody, bright tension building strings and a bumpy bass hook whilst crunchy drums and a spellbinding arpeggio leads further fuels the emotive, subtly blooming feel. 'Lost At Sea' follows next, employing a loosely flowing organic drum groove, jazzy Rhodes chords and resonant moog style synth licks to create yet another classy twist on contemporary house music. 'Hip Swing' then rounds out the package on a deeper tip with heavily swung, up-tempo drums at the forefront whilst murky bass reverberations, choppy stabs and ethereal pads subtly ebb and flow in the depths.

After a couple of essential releases under the pseudonym Epiphany' in labels such as AHD or Semantica, Damian Schwartz is back with his second full length Album. An incredible piece of work highly influenced by Detroit and NY's House and Techno sound.

Our next strike called Exhale EP' is the second release of the label owner himself: Depthon.

Depthon filled the A-side with two original tracks: Exhale (A1) featuring tripping bells as main part.
Background is made up of different drums and a synth, filtering on and off during the track.
Relax (A2) has a more atmospheric background and a bit more monotone than Exhale - a perfect
opening track.

The B-side opens up with a remix from Chris Koegler (B1), a south German artist & producer from
Stuttgart. His remix is more powerful, straight to the point and industrial, although never forgetting to be
a track for the dancefloor. Two rolling synths and uprising pads are mixing the bells while drums and FX
solidify the background.

The Hungarian (Sopron) artist Akos Wex (B2) did his first work for Blackrod with this remix. It's stamped
by a distortion synth and a massive kick. It's a bit more minimalistic with atmopsheric background and
bells which fade in and out in perfect time.

All in all we have 4 great clubbing tracks - powerful assets for each sound system!

Who's really behind this nameevery release is different and we love it,the mysterious boy returns with 3 tracks of raw and heavy techno on the vinyl only label.

Walls, Corridors, Baffles is the debut album of Swiss musician and producer Samuel Savenberg aka S S S S. Following various releases on Haunter Records, aufnahme+wiedergabe, and Hallow Ground, his LP on Präsens Editionen tries to find an approach to an artistic expression beyond tropes of darkness, harshness and excess. Thus, the aesthetic of Walls, Corridors, Baffles is radically and uncompromisingly sober. Instead of focusing on a conceptual or symbolic treatment of sound as an abstraction, Savenberg emphasizes its materiality. The album consists of eight pieces strung together into a manifesto which calls for a febrile embrace of an unheard-of, intense sobriety.
In Walls, Corridors, Baffles, unadulterated percussive force meets an astoundingly precise and frugal vocabulary of electroacoustic sounds, as for example on the opener “Deserter”. Passages extended over long melodies invite the listener to lose oneself in the contrastive emptiness. Central to the work are the affective qualities of the music which lapses only at moments into a more defined emotional quality – as on the final track “Nothing But the Circulation of Air”.

Charlotte de Witte continues to establish herself as the part of the new school techno landscape with a second EP on Mary Go Wild Black. By reading the titles of this fine EP you might think the - Collision ends up in a - River of Tears Good to know that it's not! There is much more sweat to expect dropping from bodies if the tracks are played in the clubs.

Straight forward banging techno by Kaiser aka Gianluca Caiati from the south of the Italian motherland. For over over than a decade Kaiser is a well known techno producer and fits more than just right in the Black Brook Limited techno series.

Milan-based imprint Just This present Cristalli Ionici, a four-track EP from Italian duo Abstrakt featuring a Marcel Fengler remix.

Abstrakt is a collaborative project from Luca Rambelli and Filippo Scorcucchi concerned with the intense study of spatial timbres - a psychedelic trip represented as a sonic aesthetic.

A relatively new endeavour, their debut on Just This offers an expertly crafted voyage into the outer reaches of the imagination. Sonically, the EP files under ambient techno, brandishing swirling textures and tangible effects to create a blissful meditative state.

For his remix of the title track, Marcel Fengler places the subtle complexion of the original and places it inside a driving rhythmic pattern of syncopated percussion and unrestrained energy.

After his first release on Soundtravels, the Aspiration EP ST003, Dircsen is back with another astonishing EP which you can easily call a sequel to Aspiration EP.

“Eltern” opens the release with dramatic synths and heavy percussion before the orchestral chords
of “Josefinum” fuse with pulses of acid. Things then get atmospheric with the ethereal intro track
“Augusta”, which Darse toughens up with his own percussion to create a slick, shadowy mood.

Having started out throwing DIY raves in Toronto Canada, the Forth collective became influenced by the city's hunger for self-expression. Various Artists Vol. 2 is the second instalment in a series of compilations that gives Toronto artists a chance to realise their ideas on the local and international stage.

232Reach staged the impeccable relationship between Kalter Ende and
Sarf, and their parallelism both artistically and personally. After years of
fellowship, close lives and styles, of mutual collaborations, of sharing
related experiences and of an entire existence waving the same flag
together, the couple of producers emerge with a new record symbiosis
created expressly to release their own material.
The label begins with a first delivery conceived jointly and without any
type of epigraphs that can divert the attention from what it represents. If
there is a minuscule possibility of altering the musical interest against any
external condition, it is totally eradicated.
00001 is the first cut of the reference, direct techno with a clean punch,
deep and very careful, and with an initial loop that persists throughout the
passage opening way through the wide panoramic spectrum. Everything
flows normally and passively until the modular chain appears and forces
the rest to evolve timbrically. The second cut (00002) is sharper and
much more forceful, on this occasion the first sequence is present again
throughout the piece, but the rest of motifs that sprout progressively and
end up waning come to equal at times, but never get to overcome the
background of the work.
The B side opens with 00003, mental and dynamic cut, dominated by an
imposing and heartbreaking arpeggio that again appears from the same
modular entrails. This third track seems to be elaborated by infinite and
tiny perfectly structured elements that are shelled in the mind of the
listener. The fourth and last cut (00004) does not present the rhythmic
mobility of the previous tracks, only in several fragments the charles
supports the agility of its tempo. The theme focuses on other harmonic
aspects and on the boiling that emanates from its roots.

Brothers Black return to family label Voxnox Records in late 2017 with a four track vinyl realase.
A1 The duo kick off the release with the title track 'Marianas', a subaquatic track that digs deep into the sound spectrum with searing soundscapes and a pulsating resonant bass that will be felt through all those on the dance floor.
A2 Voxnox welcome Delsin records mainstays Artefakt to the Voxnox fold. The duo have taken the original 'Marianas' and built upon the deep foundations to create an ethereal and atmospheric trip over a complex groove that will lull the listener into a hypnosis.
B1 Building on the deep aesthetic of the EP, the second Brothers Black original 'Pulling Teeth' is a stomping club track that combines a singular looping lead with delicate, sparkling analog highs.
B2 Voxnox welcomes Invite of Invite's Choice to the family. The veteran Dutch producer and DJ takes the original 'Pulling Teeth' to transform it into an exceptional, relentless club track that hints at the original whilst introducing newly formed and unique sounds.

The HACKER/LARRY McCORMICK/COSMIC FORCE/DEFEKT

Hot off the heels of MonoTrax Volume 1, Monotone is not letting up with this vinyl only compilation of what could be considered some of the best Electro has to offer. To prove that things get started by legend The Hacker with this pure Electro outing. This one is a littler slower but still a powerful number that will put you into the groove. The second cut on this plater comes from the Monotone boss himself with Root Code. This is actually one of the hot tracks from his Intelectro album however this has not seen wax until now. This jam picks things up with his patented solid drum patterns while the rhythms build up until the middle breaks off into epic keys that lift the track even higher until the end drop into the bass. Side B starts off with the Dutch hero Cosmic Force. Maximilian of Roma is a hybrid of grooves and textures throughout. The energy on this carries the track throughout. Just the unique composition you expect from the Utrecht ninja! Last but far from least. The Irish man comes with a nice riding flow as DeFeKT shows why he is one of the hottest Electro/Techno artists at the moment. I Am Here is proclaimed as this riding tune is relentless and shows why this record is a diverse group of artists yet the spirit of MonoTrax is even clearer. To bring together top notch Electro producers for an exciting compilation series.

Blind Delon was founded in 2016 by Mathis Kolkoz—a French artist who draws his energy from coldwave and synthwave references channeled through the use of ancient synthesizers, icy bass lines and black romanticism, all combined with a raw elegance and melancholy.

Discipline - Blind Delon’s first album features a stunning sound design, laced with dark energy and a daring lyricism. The album, although written and composed by the band, is an all star collaboration with Kris Baha, Lapse Of Reason, Incendie, I Hate Models, and others.

For those familiar with the infamous "Birmingham Techno" movement, Makaton is someone who needs little introduction. For those that aren't, the Brummie producer is the head of the inimitable Rodz-Konez and has seen himself showcase his cut-throat techno on seminal labels such as Token and Blueprint. B2) Closing off the originals on the EP is - Astral Spirits . Aptly named, this ambient piece clearly displays Sept's excellent production skills. Dark, eerie soundscapes and twitchy percussion make this an intoxicating and disturbing piece.
B3) For the final track on the EP, Voxnox Records is delighted to welcome Headless Horseman. Known for his exceptional and unique production style, the Horseman is surely one of techno's greatest talents. Headless Horseman delivers a tough, remix that builds perfectly on the atmosphere of the original whilst showcasing his trademark galloping groove. Not to be missed.

he Ctrls class of inventive, inorganic techno is a mainstay of Token's output. For his ninth solo EP, he takes a trip down a back alley to the spirit of some of his earlier releases on the label.

The Shortest Path starts with flitting high-end precision accompanied by a gracefully deviating tone that's as close to the natural world as Ctrls is prone to handing over. It takes on new life with a sparse and ultra-synthetic groove.

Rush Hour is gripped by an acute yet almost-imagined drone that builds intensity before going all in. The oddball break takes it down and whips back around to shuddering effect.

Crash is a full-scale collision. Slamming into that Ctrls brand of strange and discordant percussive details, a fierce and perfectly unpleasant bass is teased by semi-conscious accents.

Highway comes in on a half-step, straightening up with a muted klaxon crescendo into hypnotic transit.

A first for Token, the Routing EP includes two staggering, driving locked grooves crafted in the spirit of the rest of the record.

As tension and seduction overlap in “Zero One”, the sound and the build-up is just enough to suck the listener in before the slight shift of style in “Zero Two”. The track gains the rhythmic flow of its own and grapples with higher pitch without losing the distinct tone of the producer. All three tracks share familiar dark undertones which are notably highlighted in “Zero Three” with a clear intention to leave the listener on an unmistakable high.

Her intimate knowledge of techno (particularly the raw and uncompromising variety designed by the likes of Jeff Mills, Mike Banks, Joey Beltram and her collaborative partners Surgeon and Regis) has taken her to the studio, where she now provides Stroboscopic Artefacts with a 4-track contribution to this ongoing legacy of ecstasy.

After kicking things off in 2017, Loop LF returns to Well Street bringing his unique sound design, broken rhythms and deep subs. Martsman kindly pops back from the future to provide a beautifully technical dnb remix.

like Direct Beat, Elypsia, Puzzlebox, Trans Atlantic, Minimal Soul, Night Vision and numerous guest features.Known mostly for his vocals, writings and concepts, DEMF vet-Blaktony places his producers hat on to release on Technorama Records his new electro project alongside of Keith Tucker, part of the famous electro duo Aux88, who has recorded under several monikers such as Optic Nerve, K-1 or Alien FM since the very early nineties and who has built his own unique style of electro and techno music out of Detroit.
You can find here two brilliant remixes of 'The Rogue', full of trademark Optic Nerve funk and futurism, combining deep techno with haunting vocals and machine rhythms. Originally designed as a series to run concurrently with the Livity Sound label as an outlet that shares and reflects it's ideas and aesthetics, the Reverse series has evolved in to an institution of cutting edge UK dance music in its own right, featuring releases from the likes of Batu, Bruce, Forest Drive West and Hodge.

The series returns with a debut 12” from Bristol duo Cando following in that lineage of purpose built dance floor tracks. Cando's combination of percussion driven tracks and mystical hooks root them firmly in a Bristol tradition.

Second release on Craig Richards' Tuppence seven-inch single label, comes courtesy of E.R.P. AKA Convextion (Gerard Hanson). Hot on the heels of his brilliant 2845 album comes this mesmeric 'New Road' seven-inch, a must for all Convextion fans.

Another bomb on milky orange vinyl is dropped with label release No. 5 of the inglorious Questo! Music from Switzerland. The Original Mix of - Propper from Francesco Ballato is boosted by 3 remixes. Let's start at the core: Francesco's stripped-down style of deep and groovin' house is turned into an inventive and quirky floor sneaker, which gets higher and higher into a thrilling dramaturgy with the voice of Bruce Lee.

Same side is featured by another uprising producer from Switzerland: Stoga. He found a phat groove in the box and smashes it with a tight direction more into techhouse.

Danish boy Jacob Phono from Berlin, whose list of impacting releases has raised strongly in the recent time, leaves Bruce Lee out of sight and delivers a solid techy version of - Propper on the B1 side.

We would like to welcome Gonzalo Medina to the Knotweed family. Gonzalo MD is a young producer coming straight from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He likes to qualify his music as hypnotic dub techno with a touch of darkness & Detroit and we think that suits his sound very well. He tests his own productions regularly in Buenos Aires at Cocoliche, where he DJs often with all the usual suspects. He has already more than a handful of releases on digital labels, but this is his first foray in the vinyl world.

We are happy to welcome Invite (aka Tim van Paradijs) to the Knotweed Records family. Many of you already know Tim for his skills as a DJ and for his famous Invite's Choice podcasts serie. He now demonstrates his production skills by delivering three big room techno tracks that will for sure make some noise on techno dance floors across the globe.

AF Trax = Against Fascism Trax and is a new label project instituted by JD Twitch/Optimo Music. Its aim is to make a musical and cultural protest in opposition of rising far right politics and ideology in the world. Encouraging artists to make music intended to interrogate these toxic ideas, and with all label profits donated to Hope Not which campaigns to counter racism and fascism. Against Fascism Trax's intent is to provoke conversation, inform and financially support the opposition to fascist thinking. Its simple idea is that we must do something more than just talking. The moral thing to do is to act.

AF Trax plan to release 10 Eps in 2019. The first release is a 4 track EP from Logtoad, channeling UK hardcore but in a 21st century way.

Logtoad is a performance artist, sound designer, DJ and veteran of Glasgow's music community, active since 1992.

He has performed live music a handful of times under a variety of aliases. He currently lives 225m above sea level, less than 50km from Hunterston B nuclear power station.

Knotweed Records is a new label launched out of Chamonix, France, by Belgian DJ and producer Philippe Petit.

In addition, he invites Terrence Dixon back on Knotweed so that Terrence can give his own minimalistic interpretation of Stars.

We had been following Robert's works for quite some time so when we were about to launch the label, he was one of the very first artists we reached out to. After accepting our invitation Robert sent over these 3 cuts which we signed without hesitation. Arnaud then came onto the EP after a nice chat we had with him over dinner here in Malta, which led to this exceptional remix that he delivered some time after. An overall prime EP which we are more than glad to share with you.

Ben Sims' Hardgroove label opens its 2019 account with a four track EP comprised of cuts from the Londoner's recent 'Tribology' mix-comp. M-Plant artist and UK techno don Mark Broom features alongside Clone's Cadans with Italian emerging talent Marco Bruno and Hardgroove alumni Avision serve up hefty, peak time workouts.

WHEN I WAS A CHILD leading the way to the other tracks. Comes out of the context with a set of strings and melodies and a broken rhythmic announcing something that is going to happen, like reminiscent of a past, report when a very young Frankyeffe decided that his artistic direction was about electronic music.

ECLYPSE MENTAL broken beat, dark and introspective linked to a protest title against the lack of empowerment of some peoples to evolve.


INTO RIPPLED STREAM is a total innovation for Frankyeffe: his first vocal track. The artist confesses that this was a dream, putting words on his track. The final product is a song that goes straight to the listener stomach, arouses deep emotions, like just as deep and heavy sounds and the composition of this piece and the beautiful voice of Phil that give an extra touch.

The second vinyl release from Hybrasil's self titled Berlin based label features four hand picked tracks from the Hybrasil LIVE show. Entitled Calculator EP, it speaks volumes of his knack for crafting genuinely beguiling techno.

Amsterdam-based artist and Format-label honcho Juan Sanchez himself delivers a quartet of tracks carrying his signature sound for the label's thirteenth release.

Never one to settle for the ordinary, Juan Sanchez' latest outing follows a more conceptual approach to techno. Each track adds its own flavor to the mix, with the EP as a whole being a combination of dubby and dancefloor-fused material. Synth and bass arps, stripped grooves and driving drums are the main ingredients of Juan's sound, all of which come together across this EP's four-track canvas. The result is a balanced mix of both dubby and dancefloor-tinged techno laced with experimental twists and turns.

With his new release, Juan adds another quality slice of techno to the Format roster.

This the first release of this newly formed label, product of the studio collaboration between the experienced music duo.

A1 holds a special place since it was one of their first productions, defining their sound and workflow in the studio. Berlin based producer ''Synthek'' is a renowned name within contemporary Techno. Besides succesfully running his label Natch Records, he has been also a resident at the infamous Tresor.

For the seventeenth installment in the string of Attic Music releases, Synthek (Luca Landolfi) comes up with a staggering EP that contains a lot of adventurous drum patterns, bold arrangements and swells of daring FX.

On the A side we find ''Loser'', which is a brave cut of spherical yet moody techno that uses a buldging percussion line and otherwordly fx to create an ominous vibe. ''Uneven Mind'' is an exotic cut with tough drum sounds that uses a hypnotic synth swell that cuts throughout to create an alarming atmosphere. French producer and Concrete resident Antigone comes up with an uplifting (eight minutes long) remix for ''Uneven Mind'' on the B side which is beautifully orchastrated throughout.
''Faithless''is a percussive cut with intense FX blips.

Arsenik Displays is a two part vinyl compilation and a collaboration between the label and artists across 7 countries.

The tracks are made by artists that have been long time supporters of our label and whom we admire for their work. Despite the range of artists, they still manage to deliver music associated to the label’s sound.

Kelly Criterion is a forceful EP of high energy constructions, diving straight into the core of a peak time set with little respite. Using his trademark ear for sound design of the utmost detail, each track combines an amalgam of immersive textures to forge intense, driving dancefloor bombs. Sparking a blazing fire from the offset and dousing it with lighter fluid throughout, Kelly Criterion is a relentless package for the most discerning techno fans.

R&S presents a killer 2 tracker from Romania’s Ada Kaleh AKA Iulian Cuculea, which follows his stunning "Palatul de clestar" EP on R&S in 2017.

Iulian's music combines hypnotic rhythms with rich, naturally evolving sounds that invite the listener into a parallel world. Appropriately enough this release was inspired by a literal and metaphorical trip to the Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park - a camping / hiking expedition with two friends lead to some mystic experiences.

"We arrived quite late, so we put our tent somewhere quiet, near a small river, set up a little campfire, cracked a couple of beers open, rolled a joint and enjoyed the view we had of the Milky Way.
The next day we ventured into the mountains, munching on the mushrooms as we went. They soon started to mess with our perception of time, adding new dimensions to our reality. There was nobody else but us on the mountains, which made us feel like all the energy of the place ran through us only. Suddenly, we saw a gorgeous valley ahead, so we decided to scrap the previous route we planned and just went towards it. It felt like we were approaching an elvish land when we were welcomed by 3 beautiful mares. This was the ancestral valley, which inspired the B side of the release called Valea ancestrală (the romanian translation of ancestral valley)."

Deciding to change route and go towards another climb, one they felt sure would lead them to the land of dwarfs, one of Iulians's friends sensed the presence of a viper ahead, so they returned down to the valley and explored another route; "Soon we were on the cliffs again, on the opposite slope we saw an ancient woman holding the mountain together, which sparked talks about the universe and the female energy holding everything in her universal hands, religion, duality, finite and infinite planes of existence. This was a cosmic call, and became the inspiration for the A side, Chemare cosmică (romanian translation of cosmic call).

Musical cues for the Ada Kaleh sound come from the varied likes of Boards of Canada, Sigur Ros and Future Sound of London amongst others, evident in the dreamlike focus on natural sounds that pervade the two tracks of this release - A-side "Chemare cosmică" draws the listener in with a percolating main synth riff that burbles along like a winding mountain stream, underpinned by the pulsing rhythm track and swirling lysergic synth washes oscillate through the track like vapour trails. On the flip "Valea ancestrală" provides a more stripped back vibe, rattling percussion and sketched out bandpassed chords jostle with the occasional synth swirl to mesmeric effect.

Dark Acid mental superb EP, sometime deeper trancy sometime hardcore doomy... big open minded sound talking about techno melodies.

The past few years, we've watched from afar as Tokyo based DJ Haruka has established himself as one of Japan's top DJs and a crucial figure in the dance music scene. Since inviting him to play a Butter Sessions party in Melbourne and catching him multiple times in Japan, our online curiosities were met in real life with his impeccable taste and personalised style of house and techno. Needless to say, when Haruka sent us his debut EP "Senko", we instantly heard something special in his approach to music creation.

The three original tracks, entitled by their respective BPMs, encapsulate everything we loved about his DJ sets - bold, acidic and relentless synth sequences that are as intense as the Shibuya crossing, paired with masterful live percussion and drumming from Izpon (of Japanese salsa band Banderas) and Shigekazu Otake (of cult group Cro-Magnon) to create a unique sonic space. The recordings snarling nature reflects the pure force of DJ Nobu's Future Terror crew, of which Haruka is a key member. Additional live dubbing and mixing work from Naoyuki Uchida of Dry & Heavy - "Flying Rhythms" glues this raging bull together while purveying it's raw energy.

On the flip side, label heads Sleep D offer an unflinching club-ready version of "120", while French royalty Zadig contributes a mesmerising 14+ minute dubbed out, psychedelic burner that brings a new focus to the soundscapes of the original.

If heavy industry is a thing of the past, no-one told Identified Patient. For the past few years, he has been a one-man factory: by day, assembling component parts of acid, techno and all varieties of wave (dark, cold, minimal) on the production line; by night, a DJ dynamo pulsing with so much energy he could power a small city. His style is the kind of churning, lithe, fractured machine funk that could make Trent Reznor weep with envy – mean but clean, sinister and stomping but crucially, never overconfident or overblown. After two show-stopping performances at the parent festival last year, Signals In Snakes marks Identified Patient’s first Dekmantel release, for the technoid UFO sub-label.

Opener “The Drip” lives up to its namesake, slowly lowering elements into the field of play with partner in crime Sophie Du Palais. No prizes for guessing what exactly might be dripping through this fetishistic slow burner, so we’ll let your sordid imagination run wild. “Let Me Do It” takes the pent-up anguish and lets rip with the mood of unearthed electrical wires sending sparks flying, an upscaling of intensity that continues on “Chantal Chant.” Envisioned as the moments of tension before a gladiator fight in ancient Greece, the acidysound is that of barely restrained militant chaos. Our battered fighter’s swan-song, “Lucy’s Comeback,” marshals the dark undercurrents of bass and brings us to a close. Giving a new lick of shiny paint to a well-weathered industrial exoskeleton, Signals In Snakes is one to unify the cold-blooded villains and hot-blooded lovers all summer long.

Electro, disco-chic, doused in gooey pop, sultry silk, and retro synth-boogie. Dekmantel welcomes the good time vibes of Canadian selector, and retrotastic, vibe-poppin’ producer Jex Opolis. Cult figure, obsessive Discog-er and Good Timin’ boss, the Brooklyn-based, Canadian has etched out a global reputation with his exotic taste of lo-fi, party productions, with this — his Dekmantel debut — not straying far from the formula. On Earth Boy, the hit making powerhouse turns up the synth furore to maximum, with electro and Italo all blending together, in a powerful melee of beachtime house, and crushing sunset disco. Leftfield soul that’s not just for the diggers, and the perfect introduction for his summertime debut at Dekmantel’s galant showcase festival in Amsterdam later on this summer.

Title track 'Earth Boy' pays homage to the classic electro of the early 80s, with its 123bpm rolling breaks, and throbbing synth basslines. It’s as if Drexciya has a disco-baby with Spacer Woman. With its cliquey stomps and robot pulses, and nods to the wave-style records that empties so many of Jex’s sets, 'Earth Boy' is classic future disco. 'Desolation' is bridled with greater depth and emotion, with Italo-pomp and a certain rhythms digitales flare. Braver souls may embrace the vocal mix when it comes to playing out, with its compassionate overtones and soft celled-bassline. Its time to brush aside the winter hue, and say hello to those good-time blues, and frolic along to the jetset, neo-Balaeric house stylings of Jex Opolis.

How emotional can you get on a dance floor? Love Letters - Cast Off is part of our decades-long exploration of this question. A stunningly confident four track EP that harnesses the power of deep rave with twisted up vocals, acid lines and techniques drawn from the best of classic house topology storming propulsively into the future.

Love Letters is NY-based designer and musician Maxime Robillard whose creative process for both design and music often begins from the same consideration of function, “What is the use, what is the environment. Movement is integral to my creative process.” Robillard goes on to share the particular story behind this EP: “This EP was made after a major accident in my life. Two of the tracks were made with both arms in a cast, and in a way this can be listened to as a love letter to my connection with this kind of music, with the community I have found on the dance floor, and with particular sounds. It acts as a document of my gratitude that after the accident I am alive and well and can still enjoy the music and world that I’ve dedicated so much of myself to.”

Silent Servant - former Tropic Of Cancer and Sandwell District producer, Juan Mendez - makes his
stunning album debut with the poised fusion of epic techno, primitive post punk, and industrial
electronics on 'Negative Fascination' for Dominick Fernow's Hospital Productions.
Since he stopped recording with Sandwell District, Mendez has explored his divergent yet
compatible tastes to their fullest, recognising and reconciling their congruent rhythms,
atmospheres and intentions with alchemical ability. If you're familiar with his previous
trajectories you'll no doubt be seriously impressed with his balance and contrast of time-
honoured elements, from the bellicose sci-fi romance of 'Process (Introduction)' to the full flight
techno escapism of 'Utopian Disaster (End)', and if you're new to his sound - whether you're a
noise freak wondering what the f*ck Hospital Productions are doing releasing a techno album, or
a techno head who's baffled by the raspy drums - you should be quickly realising that this stuff is
the way forward.
From the wave-scanning intro he spins a bleakly noirish narrative, slowly building tension with
'Invocation Of Lust''s acid hypnosis and the stoic deployment of drones and agitated drum machine
slaves on 'Moral Divide (Endless)' that resolves with gritted techno determination on 'The Strange
Attractor'. Yet perhaps our favourite moment is 'Temptation & Desire', sounding like the converged
darkroom visions of Front 242 and Stephen Morris, but if any cut shocks us the most, it's 'A Path
Eternal', revealing SS at his most unreservedly sublime and vulnerable without his usual, armour-
plated chassis of beats.
It all surely adds up to one of the most impressive examples of modern industrial techno you'll hear
this year, one which doesn't merely pay deference to its roots, but nourishes and augments them
with the kind of vision that imparts the strong feeling that he's really been biding his time, 'til
now...

After releasing Wraetlic's seminal 'Ad Absurdum' earlier in the year on Huntleys + Palmers, we're very pleased to have arranged for the entire album to be remixed by friends, associates and artists we've long time admired. These will drop over the remainder of the year on Belters and we're very excited to hear and share all these new interpretations.

The first one is easily the heaviest record on Belters to date. Headed up by Hodge, who can do no wrong to our ears and as expected, he's turned in a stomper. This is well matched with the thundering effort by Toronto-via-Cairo's DINA. On the other side, Deena Abdelwahed does the damage with a wonky number, alongside Glasgow's boy wonder, Pseudopolis who drops the pace but keeps the heat.

The imprint celebrates the release of first long lenght with this compilation featuring tracks by some of the most prominent underground techno artists among some new talents including works from: Christian Wünsch, Datura Dilema, Developer, Dinamite, Kalter Ende, Stanislav Tolkachev, Unkle Fon and Vertical Spectrum. The sound palette focuses on danceable numbers, but also include some broken beats and industrial touches showcasing the diversity of the catalogue.

Arriving as the third outing of Len Faki's recently established non-profit platform LF RMX, these previously exclusive edits take on a raging classic by courtesy of Frankie Bones, godfather of the North-American rave scene. The new Hardspace Mix bolsters up the characteristic vocal and synths for even more frantic effect but trades in the percussion for Faki's signature assault of claps and hats. These also dominate the stripped-back Hardspace Tool, which carefully builds momentum only around the sirens and some seriously sizzling low-end rumble. Both of Faki's personal mixes capture the original's raw energy, yet manage to appear in both sleek but powerful presence. As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be donated to the Berlin charity project Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Next up on Etruria beat, is the Dutch duo Hush & Sleep who have been steadily making name for themselves in the past year. They deliver a stunning two tracks EP with Farrago and Marco Effe on remix duty. The EP starts off on a joyous note with the track Mirth. As this is an old English word for gladness, the main melody takes you on a carefree ride supported by a stomping kick and dreamy pads in the back. Farrago takes a more stripped down approach with his version. He builds on the dreamy pad, making it serve as a warm blanket over his signature tight percussion. Contradicting Mirth, the second original slowly starts to drag you into a feeling of hysteria, hence the name. Taking their signature kick as the foundation, Hush & Sleep use a haunting melody that lingers on in the back and sets an eerie mood. Marco Effe's remix is a deep stunning techno groover. Taking the main melody but twisting it into his own wonderful creation and sending you off on a journey into time and space.

Canadian John Varuhin serves up the second tasteful EP on Clyde Records , a sublime minimal techno affair across 4 standout tracks.

This Vancouver artist is a techno DJ and producer who has also played a purely digital live set in the past. He has a clean, crisp style that comes back from the future and is rich in hi fidelity details that make it truly cinematic.

Opener ‘ Bunker ’ is a spacious track with gooey kick drums rolling deep as slithers of synth and tiny metallic sounds glint and glisten up top. It’s perfectly transcendental, while the excellent ‘ Retribution ’ picks up the pace with a sense of silky techno urgency. The unsettl ing sound of distant automation and darkened synths recall the best of Motor City techno and ensure this one will have the floor locked in.

The expertly designed ‘ Rainy Day ’ is pure minimalism, with icy hi hats and scuttling little details sure to find favour with fans of Robert Hood. Hugely atmospheric and absorbing, it’s the sort of deep and late night track that’s designed for intimate club rooms. Last of all, ‘ Detached Screen ’ is another deep, rolling, perfectly elongated groove design to melt your mind and trap you in the beautiful repetition.

This is a classy and timeless EP of meticulously crafted minimal techno.

Mato takes us on an eclectic bass-driven journey with Moving In, his debut release and latest from Euphoria Records. The EP opens with the tribal rhythms of 'Gozo Carnival', a laid back groove that sets the scene for the vinyl. Euphoria Jamz follows with something best described as a late night ghetto jam while 'Where's the Chutney' drives the record on with a thick dose of meandering bass.

Mato, hailing from the ancient island of Malta, keeps one foot in Berlin's club culture, the other deep in Malta's energetic party scene which he has been instrumental in for over a decade; curating distinctive dance events and introducing artists such as Ryan Elliot, Margaret Dygas, tINI, and Enzo Siragusa. Mato's most recent venture is 'Mute', an intimate open-air club which he co-created and where he is also resident DJ.

It's been almost two years since Music Man released Petar Dundov's third album "Sailing Off The Grid" on CD and limited 4LP. He's been so busy touring and remixing that after last year's single "Origins/Rise", these are only the first two new Dundov tracks since the album. Petar's melodic signature sound in full effect. A must for the fans.

In order to celebrate 5 thrilling and inspiring years, we gathered well-known artists, Goldmin
regulars and emerging talents. It was really important for us to express the elusive nature of
the Goldmin sound, in the form of a compilation tracklisting. Over the past 5 years, we had
the chance to meet most of these guys in person, follow their very own creative path, share
ideas, thoughts and there's no doubt that they all had their part to play in crafting our sound.
This intimate and stimulating kind of collaboration had to be expressed and there couldn't be a
better way to capture what we've been busily working for, than a serie of Various Artists 12".
What it comes down to is a quintessential, hard-to-follow Goldmin selection devoid of any
specific standard or norm. And this whole compilation seems to reflect that non-septate
artistic direction, this little something, which has grown throughout our whole catalogue,
since the label's birth.That's why, picking these select few tracks, that could illustrate Goldmin
Music's essential freedom was probably our toughest work yet. It was also important to pick
only the most original and iconic tracks from each artist. In the end each track had to be their
most Goldmin one and they all have been tried in all types of situations, in club at 1 and 5
AM, on the highway at night or even staring at the ceiling during a sleepless insomnia
session. They all fullfilled their duty.

Wrong Assessment strikes back on his own label AWRY with three tracks showing the different facets of his deep and hypnotic sound completed by an eerie breakbeat remix from the Berlin based master Cosmin TRG.

Gab Rhome is back on All Day I Dream with, believe it or not, his very first solo release. We first encountered our bowtie wearing friend via his collaboration with Maher Daniel way back in the label's catalogue. He dropped by again last summer as one of the tracks on our annual Summer Sampler release with 'Venus'. It rocked the Beatport Deep House chart for months. Continuing in that vein we find two wonky fun summery house tunes with rolling grooves, tinkling pianos, glassy sounds and memorable melodies...which is fun to say by the way...go on, say it. Say it out loud right now on your plane journey, in the coffee shop, hotel room or in bed with your cat... Words and music to make you smile.

Leaving convention at the door with the industrial ambience of opening track ‘Belief System’, before delivering a collaboration with label boss Mønic in the shape of ‘Loyal to the Unsung’, Jason Luxton’s latest outing as Overlook is no way concerned with conformity — something that should come as no surprise to anyone following an artist who’s always been comfortable walking the fine lines between multiple genres. On the B side, ‘Séance’ brings high-frequency tension over distorted drums, before proceedings conclude with a half-time swagger of ‘Sleight of Hand’.

A three tracker by Pugilist that explores cross sections of bass, breaks and techno. There's real variation to the styles here but all have the Australian producers signature mastery of rhythmic low end.
