Jaunt hits the ground running again this year, this time with the talents of Region. Two original cuts from the elusive duo and killer remixes from Voiski & Basic Soul Unit. The EP serves up some classy, straight-up club work outs that elegantly bridge the gap between house and techno. Made by the unknown from the unknown.

The sixth release in this series of eight opens up with Alexander Kowalski's remix of "Lydia To The Edge Of Panic" on the A-side. Kowalski's version is a pounding techno monster, with a heaving baseline and delayed chords, hinting at a more sinister dimension beyond the edge of panic. Trolly Route's (aka. Oscar Mulero) remix of "Miscellaneous Pt. 7" on A-2, lulls and hypnotizes with an acid-tinged interpretation of the original track, that nods to the plus 8 school of techno.
The B-side kicks off with Jeff Rushin's remix of "Little Green Apples", pairing the spacious and beautifully gloomy background atmosphere of the original track with a heavier version of its rhythmic framework. The final track gives us the re-mastered original version of "Confort Corpse", which displays Christian Morgenstern's uncanny dedication to exploration and his love for the 80s.

Rraph, a leading artist in the Polish underground Techno movement, puts out his first solo vinyl release on Counter Pulse - Njord EP. No remixes necessary, just four pieces of pulsating techno grinders, already gaining support from Advanced Human, Anomaly X, Dubiosity, Giorgio Gigli, Ground Loop, Kwartz, Mattias Fridell, Myk Derill, NX1, Pfirter, Truncate.

The danish label Echocord Records was formed 15 years ago this year by Kenneth Christiansen. It will now be celebrated with a compilation plus a big tour around it. We are super happy and proud that we can still continue releasing quality electronic music.
The compilation contains 10 tracks from 10 artists that all have been releasing on Echocord and Echocord Colour before from veterans Mikkel Metal, Deadbeat, Fluxion to newer signed artist Arovane.
All tracks are new and unreleased.
"15 Years With Echocord" covers the typical Echocord sound. From ambinet/chillout by STL, stoned dub by Beat Pharmacy, to typical Dub-Techno and House from Fluxion, Resoe and XDB, to the more dancefloor peak tracks by Mike Dehnert and Deadbeat.

Jamal Moss, aka Hieroglyphic Being, returns for a new second album on Soul Jazz Records, after last year's debut 'The Acid Documents', this time under the name Africans with Mainframes.
Hieroglyphic Being and fellow Chicago producer Noleian Reusse have been releasing music under the name Africans with Mainframes for over 15 years now, ever since their debut on Hieroglyphic Being's own Mathematics Recordings label in 2005. 'K.M.T.' is the debut album from the group, a collage of apocalyptic Chicago acid meets industrial and transcendental post-house machine funk. Both intense and unique, the album of forward-thinking, experimental, boundary-pushing Afro-futurist electronic music shows why Hieroglyphic Being is regarded as one of the most serious purveyors of experimental black music today. You can't stop the prophet!
Born and based in Chicago, Moss's music embodies two of the cultural foundation blocks of the city's musical lineage, that of Chicago's original Acid House sound (c. 1986), that of Frankie Knuckles, Phuture, Marshall Jefferson et al, alongside a rigorous experimental sound searching that taps into the cosmic musical lineage of pioneering artist Sun Ra whose Arkestra landed and was based in the city from 1946-61.
Available as both a very limited 1000 double-LP and 1000- tip-on hard Japanese card style CD, including cover art by Paolo Parisi (the Italian designer of John Coltrane graphic novel and our own Acid & Mysterons releases).

"We can't stress enough the importance of finally releasing an EP by scene originator DJ Nervoso. This release features newer tracks alongside unreleased older (we should really say Classic) ones, demonstrating the level of perfection he attained early on. Nervoso is the main reason why DJ Marfox, DJ Firmeza and many others started deejaying and producing, hooked on his fiery DJ sets since they were barely in their teens, around 2001-2002.

He is well known for a bare bones approach to rhythm, working the basic hypnotic feel of pounding drums to mesmerizing effect, in his permanent quest to make people move. His sound is meant to unite, not divide, the dance floor. Even before he started producing, Nervoso was quick to perceive that some people were alienated in parties where Angolan kuduro got played, for the simple reason they didn't command the specific moves associated with the style or its variations. London label EarToGround's final release of 2014 ' Raw Material' sees another new act joining the label as they welcome on board 'Dualit'.

This German duo are otherwise known as Oliver Rosemann from Leipzig and MasCon from Frelberg. Recently they have released on such prolific labels as CLR, Earwiggle and Fifth Wall Records.

This release features six tracks, being four originals backed by two centralised locked grooves with full front and back artwork on the sleeve. Audio selected for this release gives a good over all presentation of Dualit's varied, deep and raw dynamic range of Techno.

Oliver Ho's first solo record under his own name in 10 years, and a return to his origins on Blueprint Records, his last record on the label was in 2002

After the overwhelming reactions on the Duo Tone EP - their debut together for Music Man - it won't come as a surprise that Petar Dundov and Gregor Tresher got back in the studio together for more! London born Scuba AKA Paul Rose's career has been intrinsically linked to Hotflush Recordings, the label he set up in 2003. Coming back full circle to his formative mid-90s days of following Colin Faver and Jeff Mills, Rose's fabric appearances have evolved over the years from bass music Fridays to the house and techno of Saturday nights.
Rose's ability here to select, sequence and stitch together 42 tracks over 75 minutes is remarkable. Artists as diverse as Pearson Sound and Patrick Cowley, Donato Dozzy and Midland all get called upon but nothing ever gets in the way of a dark, seductive atmosphere. It means that in amongst the bumping lo-fi techno and cavernous bass sounds, there is a palpable sense of being lost in the rave

When the duo Skudge started out in late 2009 with their first release on Alphahouse, followed by a string of underground hits on their own label Skudge Records, little did they know that they would be in the forefront of the Stockholm sound of the dawning 2010's. First Edition Limited to 500 Copies
The complex rhythm textures combined by a echoing audial lightness that still runs unparalleled, paired with sub intense quick basslines and swirling percussion has been the trademark. This updated take on the techno and house crossover of today got appreciated and caught the attention of a full spectrum of artists.

With a tight release schedule, 2010 alone saw 6 releases from the Skudge hub. Culminating in 2011 with the release of 'Phantom', the full length album release on the home imprint, followed by the sub labels that releases other artists as well.
Five years from that era, Skudge has reshaped into the solo work from one of the original artists. This change of production and artistry launches into the crates with the release of the limited full length 'Balancing Point' LP.

During this time, the sound has shifted into new territory, where the entire A-side acts as the beginning of this grooving whirlpool of a record: quick and immense.
The UK influences that was formed in the 90's, gets picked up and infused through the B-side, ending off in a almost orchestral piece.

The delicate subtleness of the second 12' showcases a familiar coming-of-light type of style that we so much appreciate, firmly ending the long player and leave us sure of the future.

Balance Music continues on its quest to champion the world's most talented underground house and techno heroes with its latest offering from Germany's Alex Niggemann. Following on from efforts by Patrice Bäumel and Darius Syrossian this year, he steps up to the plate with an emotive, murky, and deep selection of grooves.

While the stylistic context of his musical vision may have evolved over the course of his career, Alex Niggemann's work has always been focused around deep atmospherics and mysterious melodies. Through releases on Poker Flat Recordings (including debut album Paranoid Funk), Watergate Records and Sasha's Last Night On Earth, he has built up an enviable body of work that never falters. His AEON imprint has also seen him play tastemaker in another sense, bringing through names like Speaking Minds and Denis Horvat, ensuring that he is constantly plugged into the most exciting new and established talents alike.

Putting together this heady mix for Balance proved to be a challenge he relished. His shortlist of track choices was whittled down by a process of elimination: a certain track isn't available, so an alternative selection comes into play, which has a knock-on effect on the rest of the programming. It is a bit like being a soccer manager' he says, making sure every position is covered double, being flexible and able to react to certain changes, still making the whole team work together best.' So seamless and congruent is his selection, however, that you'd never know this to listen to it.

For me it was important to create new 'songs' between each track during the transitions between them. For me, a "mixtape" was always about that, trying to avoid obvious changes and create a fusion between songs, keeping the same mood, so the listener doesn't hear a new song coming in, but realises after a few minutes that there was a change.' His brooding take on deep, melodic and often dramatic techno indeed fits together incredibly harmoniously, subtle changes modulating the mix in granular fashion.

We begin with the near-beatless ambience of TVA's Radio Camaldoli Stereo' setting the mood perfectly, pared back melodies and FX harkening back to the vintage days of progressive house before Andrea Oliva's Empty Lips' imparts sorrowful melody and militant snare rolls to start picking things up. Trevino's take on Dark Sky's Rainkist' brings the first tense vocal into play over dark swathes of synths, into the shimmering melodies of Dave DK and Gui Boratto and the expert hypnosis of Daniel Avery. A new exclusive from Niggemann, Hurricane', yields a stunning, graceful vocal into play over squelchy kicks, with Trikk and Dubspeeka providing throbbing tracks topped with delicate melodics.

Baikal's minimalist approach provides a moment of deep introspection before the warm acid of Philipp Stoya's Rula' adds a touch of machine funk to the proceedings and TVA and Denis Horvat take us into even more tripped-out waters. We go deep again with MUUI's Rsrsrs', Aril Brikha & Sebastian Mullaert laying on rampant riffs aplenty on Illuminate' and Valet's Crisis Of Faith' opening up the atmospheric space further. Just as you sense the mix may swell to more intense moods, Niggemann pulls the reins back once again, Etapp Kyle and his own Divergent' plunging us deeper still. It's left to Antigone and Ø (Phase) to draw the mix to a close via some floaty ambient techno that keeps the psychedelic feel very much intact.

It's a mix that rewards repeated, concentrated listening, with many clever flourishes woven deep into its fabric. I think this mix is easy to listen to while doing something else, but it's also something to trip out on, bringing you on a journey when listening to it very precisely with closed eyes. In this moment you'll also find out about the little details that you maybe don't hear on the first listen, but which I hope make this mix special.'

Via App is an alias of Dylan Scheer, Queens based electronic producer and performer. She started hosting and playing shows, as well as releasing tapes under the moniker in Boston. From there, she moved to New York in 2014 and quickly became part of the city's experimental electronic scene. Her early live hardware sets got her recognition for their often stark mode of sample manipulation and collage, their dynamic narrative compositions, and their refusal to adhere to any one genre. More recently her live sets have maintained a similar sense of precariousness. She works samples and her synthesized sounds into polyrhythmic infectious grooves which threaten to break at any moment, unpredictably giving way to manic frenzy, or complete pause. Her studio recordings exist, in part, as documentation of her performances and are all recorded live.



In 2015 she released "7 Headed," a heavily sample-based techno 12" that received critical acclaim, landing her a spot on the top 10 electronic releases of the year in the Wire, and an artist feature on Resident Advisor. She has toured Europe and played esteemed festivals such as Moogfest, Sustain-Release, and Rewire, and will play Unsound Festival in October. The giant energy of an early 90s rave meet classic hip hop beats straight from the dusty SP-1200 on Cazion's debut record:

"Rap music runs very deep in my veins; by the time I was fourteen I was making mixtapes and obsessing over the huge, funky, bombastic sounds of late eighties hip hop," says Cazion's Photocall. "I still aspire to capture the snap and the bigness of the kind of sound you'd hear on a Paul C record, a Public Enemy record, and I still use the the same machines those guys used to do it," he adds, gesturing at the wealth of vintage gear cluttering his retro spaceship of a studio, The Escape Pod. "When you hear the first bar of this song, you might expect some dude with a cameo flattop to start rhyming about the Benzi Box in his Suzuki Samurai at any moment."

"We wanted to take it all the way," adds Maheras, from the depths of a glowing neon couch. "Some people shy away from using certain sounds because they're afraid to sound cheesy - but they forget to have fun. I'd rather have so much fun making a song that I forget to worry."

"Like the dancers we sampled," Photocall agrees. "The vocal snippets are from a British video that was shot on New Years Day, 1993, the morning after a giant rave. It's the middle of some field, people are pushing their cars out of the mud, and this one couple is still dancing their asses off. They don't care that there's no music playing; they're totally in the zone. My man DJ Duane happened to send us the link as we were programming the drums for this record, and something just clicked. We knew we were making this record for those two crazy kids, wherever they are. Possibly still in that field."

CVN is the work of Japanese electronic artist and core member of the now defunct Synth punk duo 'Jesse Ruins' -Nobuyuki Sakuma. A work that is distinctly Sci-Fi in it's intention, 'Exposure' is comprised of six tracks that veer from battered & scorched weightless warfare workouts to bright & melodic mutant electro to desolate and longing fragments of cracked ambience.

Nobuyuki's interest appears to lay in the imagining and exploration of an otherworldly zone of warfare, destruction and ruin. However Nobuyuki is not simply interested in representing this melee of chaos, rather he is more concerned with an exploration of what is born out of, and remains intact after this futuristic & sci-fi representation of war.
The after effects of this destruction manifest in truly touching and human snippets of hope - throughout the record the noise frequently drops away to expose haunting passages of skeletal, longing dub horns and blistering ambience.
When CVN does veer towards the dancefloor the transitions between styles are vicious and warping, sweeping from deep Detroit vibes on 'secondary infection' to the bold and bright machine shuffle of 'Golgi Complex'. 'Exposure' is a record of oscillating weights, seamlessly shifting from sparse pounding throbbing drums to completely featherweight tremors.

Many people ask me what 30' means to me as it's just a simple number.30 is my current age, and age is nothing but a way to measure time that has gone.30 is the name of my first album, where I tried to involve in just one work all of my background and all of the efforts I made through the years. It's a goal achieved, an artistic and personal consciousness that I'd like to share as much as I can with you guys.I wanted to call it this way because I had the need to prove points, involving emotions and feelings, knowing that emotions and feelings are hard to contain. In these 18 tracks there's everything I've been, 'till this moment and everything that I want to be from now on.It's an emotional path full of colors,the perfect painting to make you understand my interpretation of music.

Inside the album you will find linear tracks and techno killer,in the same time tracks more downtempo and introspective. To each of them I wanted to give the most intimate interpretation I could give,trying to make you absorb everything that has influenced me,musically in my carrier.This is the firt time I'm showing myself this way as it's the first time I really feel ready to do it,so then 30 perhaps is an acquired maturity to make me experience this revolution.The album will be out on RIOT my music label,it's not an accident if Riot' is the acronym for Revolutionary Idea On time.

COME ON is a perfect track to bring the dancefloor to delirium. It is innovative, with a house groove and more Chicago House sounds. It has been already supported by many dj, finding a huge success in most important festivals.

CRAZY MAN is madness. The neurotic synth in the track is the best state of mind different, crazy and sometimes hysterical.

IN&OUT causes an adrenaline rush by harmonizing the bass of up to almost half track. With its 125 BPM has an incredible impact on the audience. The title is a clear criticism of the musical world, now locked in a system that often leaves home phenomenal artists rather than evaluate them as they deserve.

MY OWN SENSATION is a solar track. Melodies and mentioned vocals, accompanied by repeated bass throughout the track, blow up the track into a big party, maybe in Ibiza.

Record Store Day 2015 will see a special release from Gene Hunt directed and selected by label boss I-Robots.

The two track vinyl EP features unreleased material produced in the early years of the famed Chicago artist's career in the 80s and is dedicated to musical legend Frankie Knuckles who appears on the artwork in a rare picture with Gene Hunt from back in the day.

Gene has regularly produced and remixed for the label before now (including remixing Klein & M.B.O. 'Last Call' and on forthcoming I-Robots project 'Dirty Talk' ft. Donna McGhee) and has already assured his place in house history as a DJ headlining clubs like Warehouse and the Music Box as well as playing with the likes of Ron Hardy and Larry Heard.

As a producer he has been on top of his game for three decades and has released on legendary imprints such Rush Hour, Svek, Djax and many more, so is a true house icon.

His first cut here, 'Drive Yourself Nuts' is a classic bit of Chicago jack with prickly percussive patterns staying busy on top of punchy drums. Wonky bass, physical grooves and coarse claps all make this one a standout banger for the peak of the night.

On the flip of this special package, 'Wildside D Dubb' is a slow building, mania inducing tune with a lead synth line slithering about over dusty metallic drums. Eventually some acid bleeds into the mix and pans all around, adding a sense of scale to this heady, freaky, dance floor smasher. As ever, Opilec Music show others how it is done with this real and rare bit of true Chicago house history.

Following a superb contribution to DVS1's Mistress imprint in 2015, Minneapolis' DJ, producer and promoter Mike Gervais drops the four track 'Precision Process' EP for Ben Sims' Symbolism imprint.

An integral part of Minneapolis' small but vocal techno scene via his System parties and label, Gervais is steadily breaking out and 'Precision Process' will certainly
aid his cause.

From the tunnelling, rave tinged machine funk of 'Precision Process' and 'Power and Pressure' through to the fever-dream hypnotics of 'Deep Breath' and 'Motion',
the latest EP makes for a memorable take on classic techno elements.

Lost My Dog co-founder Pete Dafeet releases the second single from his critically acclaimed debut album The Root, The Soul. My Love Is Raw is classic deep house: gritty chords, fierce vocal snippets, and roughshod beats that bring DJ Pierre's Wild Pitch to mind.

Manuel Tur's remix adds menace to the original's simplicity. A stripped-back groove that builds to a crescendo of acid, synths, and tribal rhythms - as turbulent and demented a seven minutes you'll find this side of DC10.

Meet Renart, genius, young and mysterious french techno producers, largely noticed over the last few years for his carefully crafted releases on French labels such as Cracki Records, Dawn Records and the Acid Arab Compilation. Berlin-based dj and techno producer Savas Pascalidis has been steadily making his mark in underground electronic music circles since his first releases in the mid-90s.
Born in south germany and later moved to berlin, the well-traveled DJ has been among the restless and classically minded members of the dance music community over the last decades. He developed skills that led him into producing records and made a name for himself with a series of dark, loopy and groove driven dancefloor orientated techno music. Pure and simple. His releases earned him a reputation for being something of a dance music purist.

Shifted's debut for Hospital Productions following an album for sublabel Bed Of Nails in 2013.

Integrating his more searching work as Alexander Lewis and his increasingly introspective work as Shifted while eloquently addressing his past, 'Appropriation Stories' is a comprehensive statement of intent and Brewer's finest, most mature work to-date.

Guy Alexander Brewer is involved in several projects taking in techno, noise and experimental electronics overlaying a once-hidden past in drum'n'bass. Having shunned his previous work in Commix, more recently Brewer has learned to look back, even making sideways stabs into breakbeat territory with his Covered in Sand alias. The process grows more intricate and subtle on his new album for the Hospital Productions imprint helmed by Dominick Fernow (aka Prurient, Vatican Shadow, et al.). Here rigorous processing and studio treatments transform classic breaks into deeply hidden components that add new layers of character to his highly-developed techno sound.

At first presenting itself as a dense wall of sound underpinned by an incessant pulse, 'Appropriation Stories' at length reveals itself to be a much more complex work. In place of the stark minimalism, razor-sharp digital textures and smeared analogue surfaces of his previous output, we are instead given layered tracks whose intricate mixes reveal themselves gradually over time. For long stretches - opener 'This Passage', 'For Closure', 'In Respect of Tactics' - the rhythm steps back from insistent to implied , further exposing the careful arrangements of pure sound.

Label boss Shlomi Aber take us back to sweaty, smoky, dark rooms with his new EP 'O.D. / Helter Skelter". After his successful summer residency at Sankeys Ibiza 'Tribal Sessions", Shlomi is not breaking away from his studio and takes the influences of the White Island onto his music. Minimalistic, acid flavours and Shlomi's signature grooves make up the opening track 'O.D.", while on the flip the label boss brings up the energy for the peak-time with 'Helter Skelter". Contort Yourself has once again gathered the best and boldest from past and present for its fourth EP. To begin with we have the grimacing visage of Volition Immanent, an intense live act made up of Parrish Smith and Mark Van de Maat (Knekelhuis). Behind rawkish distortion, splintered beats and acrid bars screams a boiled anger; a track spitting on the divides of punk and electronics. Nastiness is taken up a notch as noise ne'er-do-wells Zombies Under Stress take over. Static is bent and doubled across thick chords and collapsed clap in the 1986 "Maan Zal Zijn" before the raw and raging battery of "In Onze Tijd." L.I.E.S. regular Svengalisghost grapples with "Maan Zal Zijn, channelling the original's rage into a mechanical monster. The 12" is bookended with bite as Mark Forshaw (Tabernacle/Berceuse Heroique) closes with the tortured and torrential thump of "Submission." A callous, caustic and fervently cruel EP.

With a lengthy discography on influential imprints like his own Sub Static, Triebstoff, Dumb Unit, Contexterrior, and more, Falko Brocksieper has been a force in the development in deep, minimal sounds for a decade and a half. Working alongside label co-head M.I.A., Sub Static and sublabel Karloff released music from prestigious producers - René Breitbarth, Mathew Jonson, Pan/Tone, DJ Slip, Shonky, and themselves - from 2001-2010 and established the lasting reputation of Falko while identifying their label as a source of quality dancefloor ideas for its decade-long run.

If things have been quieter for him since 2011, he has remained active in his Berlin base, and for the 9th release on Caduceus Records we proudly offer a pair of originals from the respected German producer with remixes from Petar Dundov and Ladislav.

Following on its evocative, mysterious title, 'Ocean Machine' explores aquatic dub atmospheres and clear melodic elements as it slowly accelerates to cruising speed and remains there for the duration exploring these depths. While remaining invested in dubby melody, 'Loom' is a tougher techno track driven by a powerful, growling bassline and gritty drum programs that exchange energy with the keyboard parts while slowly gaining momentum.

Known for his deeply textured sound, Dundov transforms 'Ocean Machine' into an epic that rides to high drama on suspended pads, rolling, pulsating bass, and understated but hard-hitting percussion.

Adding vocal samples and more dramatic drum changes to 'Loom', Ladislav keeps drive intact but builds on the atmospherics to create rousing peak-time techno. A digital bonus is Falko's heavily ambient 'Give up the Ghost', a submerged journey where static, synthesizer zaps, and incomprehensible vocals build to a subtle climax before slowly fading away.

If you look into the night sky you can see a shadow of the Headless Horseman and his steel. This time around he has taken Perc prisoner in the Graveyard. As we know, Decapitation does not come without con- sequence. Rumor has it that the Horseman is continuing his journey throughout the land and will strike again so beware.

Sheffield's techno spearhead Lo Shea returns for his second release in 2015, served with a Zenker Brothers remix out on DEXT Recordings.

Lo Shea is certainly not work-shy. Founding the vinyl only label Seaghdha, and launching the 100 Years label (to commemorate the steelworks industry that Sheffield was born upon), Lo Shea's catalogue documents an impressive 14 releases in just three years.

Running his own warehouse night and label Hope Works, Lo Shea has shared the stage with the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Theo Parrish, Ben Klock and Kyle Hall to boot.

DEXT Recordings now welcome Lo Shea for their fourth instalment. Initiating the proceedings with the infectious shuffle of 'Durga', the tonne soon turns sinister as the rupturing drones of 'Sweatbox' shadow over synthetic toms and erratic percussion.

Famed German duo Zenker Brothers then flip the script on remix duty, with a snappier and more crystalline rendition of 'Durga'. After teasing the music community with a snippet of closing track 'Anzu' on his RA live mix last year, a flurry of excitement has certainly been built around its demonic bassline and shuffling chaos.

For their third Delicacies 12" this year, SMD take a deeper, more spaced out approach, in contrast to the strict techno of the previous two releases. "Far Away From A Distance" features hypnotic synth washes that glide slowly in and out of time with the track's rhythmic bed, stumbling over each other in a 5am haze. "Flying Or Falling" pushes into classic SMD melodies, mournful Detroit indebted warmth spilling over the groove.
Guest remixer this time is the ever excellent Lena Willikens, delivering massive club fire in the form of her own much more minimal take on 'Far Away From A Distance", stripping it back and only allowing the melody to intrude in the last third.
After a short hiatus following their modular-only, desert recorded last album 'Whorl', during which SMD's James Ford found himself on production duties for everyone and their dog, SMD are back with bunch of techno cuts on their own Delicacies label.
Over a couple of months in Jas Shaw's newly re-located synth-dense studio in leafy Kent, which saw SMD once again experiment with live jams as the basis for their production, they've pulled together a selection of eight tracks for release as a series of four singles over the coming months.
SMD fans will note that the earlier naming convention of Delicacies has fallen by the wayside - for the simple reason that we've pretty much run out of weird and wonderful food stuffs to steal names from. Instead, a semi-random automated process has been used to create the track names.

Pleasurekraft's labor of love imprint Kraftek have announced the first instalment of their vinyl series due out on October 9th. For this inaugural release - Kraftek has nabbed 2 of its favorite producers- Re.You taking on Pleasurekraft & Tiger Stripes' "Primed" - while fellow Berliner David Mayer of Keinemusik revamps Matrixxman's "The Sigil".

Re.you takes the pulsating groove and abstract bass of label boss Pleasurekraft and Tiger Stripes' collaboration and strips it right back, slowing the pace and turning 'Primed' into a slow burning and eerily atmospheric track.

David Mayer completes the offering with his remix of Matrixxman's 'The Sigil'. Rhythmic groove and tight percussion give way to a melodic homage nodding to the original's signature hallmark. But it's Mayer's emotional pad swells that build the intensity of the remix to another level - making his rendition truly something special.

Tony Scott has been producing electronic music since the early nineties under various pseudonyms, but with Edit Select he has found his forte, and when it comes to deep, thought-provoking yet floor ready techno, there are not many artists that can do it like Edit Select. At home on some headphones with your eyes closed as it is on dance floor moving bodies '11.12.16' on Android Muziq is a must have for fans of techno on the dance floor and beyond.

Jonas Friedlich, better known through Mistress Recordings and Carl Gari, releases his first solo 12" on Molten Moods. The versatile 4 track EP starts with the rather straight "Bo's Breakfast" that begins with a polyrhythmic 303 bass line leading into a catchy garage-ish chorus, kicking in out of a clear sky but fittingly. "Bus Driver" is a wicked trip, the combination of the long acid build up and a nicely chopped vocal bit is irresistible. A proven, tested (and Molten Moods certified) club banger, regardless of its rather untypical breakbeat. Track number 3 called "Praise Your Name" aces groove through perfectly cut vocal samples and a fancy reference to 90s Hip Hop and Drum'n'Bass aesthetics. The next and last piece on the record is the eponymous "Deskjet", which is inspired by Friedlichs conceptual sound art installations using printers. Here rather restrained synthie lines are underpinned by a powerful kick and psychedelic tape delay noises. The 12" vinyl is handstamped on both sides. Mastered and cut by Scape Mastering. Oscar Mulero is a one-man techno institution. After his first release on Token in 2008, Mulero teamed up with Christian Wünsch for two ep's as Spherical Coordinates.Now he's back with a new solo 4-track contribution.

Operating out of Madrid since the late 1980s, his productions reflect his deep understanding of techno through his tireless and disciplined work behind the decks. After his first release on Token in 2008, the ferocious Take Seven EP, Mulero teamed up with the comparably-accomplished Christian Wünsch for two more Token releases as Spherical Coordinates, sophisticated offerings of refined big room and bleep tracks.

Now he's back with another solo 4-track contribution that feels like classic Mulero. Hyperbolic Paths is simultaneously deep and bleepy, accented by hi-hats in syncopation. The tom-heavy Suborbital Trajectories carries a serious groove, layered with lively melodic elements and an occasional unexpected statement cymbal crash. A haunting and hypnotic number, Inclination swells and increases in intensity, rolling on after its breakdown with a playful kick-clap interaction. Eccentricity is a spacious, dubby closing track with reverb-soaked ornamental splashes.

An-i is the latest musical moniker for Berlin based former New Yorker Doug Lee. Doug has been DJing and producing records for the last decade under various aliases and collaborations. The Cititrax EP Kino-i will be the debut release and home for An-i, a showcase of his love affair with machines. It fronts a hard hitting sound beyond category, moving from techno to jack to punk and to noise. It suggests an anything goes attitude perhaps dictated
more by the will of machines themselves then any author.

The next release on L.A.G. is from Bay Area to Berlin transplant Jamaica Suk. The Kontort E.P. (LAG006) is another 3 cut record with all original music. The title track Kontort is a composition with the big room in mind with thunderous kicks and bass with intricate panning and dub inflections. Holographic is a another big room techno workout with a deliciously infectious piano line which allows the producer's personality to shine through. Depth Between Waves is a dub techno roller. This track shows restraint till the break then re-emerges with a synth sound that pushes the groove forward in a simple yet undeniable manner.

The fifth episode of a action called Spaghetti Monster Recordings is ready to win your hearts and all the awards with a young Siberian guy QOSVO. This is a unique brilliant founded by label bosses brings you to a world of analog sound with a fantastic melody core. Introducing the album comes track COMA with thousands supa grove percussions and intergalactic keys driving you to a heart of a Universe on supersonic speeds. Next comes the VIKING and continues the EP with a serious intellectual sound containing analog vibes mixed with echo keys and drums. Shadow Medium's 8 tracks present the producers fragile take on dance music, often, intensely bleak, soured and stalking while also incorporating his feelings for the globular bass sounds of contemporary deep house/tech and a saccharine UKG influence. Blaring, blackened synths (Denial, Reflection) are hosted in the same space as sweet vocal chops and bulbous bass (Colorado's Dream, Lowtions). It's never confused, it just glues together into his sound, lo-fi as it is, to me it sounds pissed off and ready to pop. In the artists words it's "elegant darkness".

It's been a long hot summer for DEXT A string of quality releases and remixes from the likes of Alden Tyrell, Bodyjack, the Zenker Brothers, Lo Shea and Oli Furness plus a label showcase at Privilege in Ibiza. Only 4 releases in, the label has fast established itself as a standout player in the game.

On the EP he's thrown down for us, he carves out 3 intense bass-heavy workouts that hit hard on the floor but display subtle layering and accomplished synth work, culminating in an absolute banger of a release.

Livity Sound's Hodge steps up on remix duties. The Bristol based producer is gaining high praise left right and centre, and it's easy to see why as he pulls out a killer reworking of Don't Need. Hodge pushes the original into another dimension and rounds off the EP in fine style. Fans of his will not be disappointed.

Onnset's third release is delivered by UK based French artist Damien Schneider. 'Seti Ep' consists of three original tracks plus a remix of the title track by Ansome.

London-based producer, DJ, promoter and venue owner Dan Beaumont drops an imaginative and esoteric house single titled 'Spirit Talkin'' on Work Them Records with a remix from label founder Spencer Parker.

The man behind Dalston Superstore, Dance Tunnel, the Chapter 10 warehouse parties, an NTS radio show and releases on the likes of Classic, No Fit State and Disco Bloodbath - one word to describe Dan Beaumont is multifaceted.

'Spirit Talkin'' sees him deliver a lengthy dancefloor cut with a heady groove and intricate drum patterns joined by penetrating vocal wails that emit feeling throughout. His 'Beaumont Beats' version keeps things percussive in a classic NY drum track style, whilst Spencer Parker's 'Workmix' raises the tempo with a strong emphasis on kicks before slowly introducing energetic chords and the powerful vox.

Out with a bang, 'Blitz Magic' is the final release in the Jose Padilla 'Too Many Colours' campaign from International Feel. A carefully curated project, from the selection of producers working on the album (Mark Barrott, Wolf Müller, Tornado Wallace, Telephones, I:Cube and Dream 2 Science), superior productions and remixes to boot, through to the beautiful artwork. Now it draws to a beautiful close. 'Blitz Magic' a Telephones production is the perfect club track to follow the wondrous 'Lollipop'. The original of 'Blitz Magic' is a lovely balearic ride that feels the influence of the all time classic 'E2E4' or in turn 'Sueno Latino'. It has now been placed in the hands of Tambien and Deetron for remix duties. Tambien are a trio from Munich. They are the Bartellow and Public Possession pair Marvin & Valentino who have released on various labels but in recent times ESP Institute and their own Public Possession. They create that intriguing mix where intelligent meets club music such as their Jil Thunder Light Remix. Deetron is an awardwinning Swiss producer and DJ that keeps his soul in Detroit and his heart in warm techno. This sound is perfectly shown in his stripped down remix cleaning out the drums and taking it back to pure club values. As Autumn arrives it feels the perfect time to release this third single from Padilla, the last in a beautiful string of releases that for International Feel have perfectly encompassed the Balearic sound as it is now. Play loud and you'll get the benefits.

José P adilla is loved by many for his work soundtracking sunsets at the Café Del Mar and compiling the seminal Café Del Mar compilations which sold over six million copies. His fans are wide and varied, on one end of the spectrum you have Madonna or Karl Lagerfeld, and on the other DJ legends such as Harvey and Andrew Weatherall. His new album ' So Many Colours' was released on International Feel earlier this summer to great acclaim and is regarded as the most forwardthinking Balearic album of the year.

Dan Davies aka Ossia is a mainstay of the Bristol scene. He runs labels like Fuck Punk, No Corner and Peng Sound, and he's a member of Young Echo. His Blackest Ever Black debut triumphantly grafted the industrial experimentalism of Richard H Kirk onto West Country bass culture. This, his second Berceuse Heroique, goes deepest yet; pithier but more widescreen, with fresh touches of jungle and bashment to its dread spirituality. The dubs in particular are a bleak treat.

West coast producer and Clone affiliate Vin Sol has been steadily banging the box creating his twisted takes on house, techno and whatever weird ass grey area that exists between the two. His sound is uncompromising, carefully crafted trax for the dance floor hinging on raw and stripped back grooves with relentless movement.

This sentiment is also expertly conveyed in his DJ sets and mixes.

Whether it's releasing house 12's with Tyree Cooper on vocals, sultry edits of the high priestess of Balearic Soul Sade with long-time collaborator and partner in Soo Wavey records Matrixxman, or creating straight up jacking mayhem for Clone Jack For Daze, Vin is paving his own distinct path of musical expression.

With his production getting support from both techno and house heavy hitters like Marcel Dettmann, Larry Heard, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Len Faki, Scuba, Joey Anderson and Boddika.

Alessandro Crimi`s Quantum Realm is the much-loved dub techno track appeared on our last Etui Winter Camp 2 compilation. Long term Etui Records label artist and Abstract Animal founder Monomood delivered 2 massive remixes for this track.
With the first edit he turns the track into a floor orientated techno trip while his 2nd edit offers a more dub vibe with stunning echoes. On the flip side Switzerland based producer Alessandro Crimi shows his love for laid-back techno sound with his Space Cocktail. Etui Records label head Insect O. added some shuffling grooves, dub deepness and analogue flavor in his remix to work well on the dancefloor and even at the beach bar.

Now a regular member of the Figure roster, young portugese talent Lewis Fautzi resurfaces again, fresh off the back of an inspired full-length debut for Soma Records. Continuing with his own take on the darker, trippier end of the Techno spectrum, we are treated to 4 new tracks, beautifully sequenced and alive with energy. From the depths of Fautzis studio, >Signal Of The Light< emerges with its deep resonant acid tones and broken beats. Setting the mood, Fautzi then unlocks the monster inside with three club-designed cuts that rattle, fizz, gyrate and swell with precision intensity. A name to keep an eye on without a doubt, its no surprise this young mans vision of modern Techno is finding its way into DJs sets far and wide.

Berlin resident Anastasia Vtorova aka Machine Woman follows up her 'For Sweden' 12' on Peder Mannerfelt with two new cuts for Where To Now Records, accompanied by an expansive and sprawling remix from Kassem Mosse.

Machine Woman is beginning to cement herself as a rather unique figure in the world of Techno. Her music is undoubtedly brutalist, functional, industrial, and stripped back for the most basic of heads down body movement, but there's a persistent seductive, soulful, and human element to her work which is in a state of constant interplay with this idea of the 'Machine Woman' - an approach which is undoubtedly inspired by the pioneers of man vs. machine music - Kraftwerk.

'Genau House' opens with the 11 minute 'I can mend your broken heart'. Shuffling percussion struts alongside a myriad of synthesized melodies and the sound of data processing. For Anastasia the track is inspired by unsuccessful Tinder dates, and the yearning lyrical content of the tracks certainly laments the implications of this perhaps often mechanical and rigid love seeking world against an honest and seeking heart - A Machine Music space to explore the increasingly common impact of disposable Computer Love colliding head on with a legitimate longing and want for lasting human connection.

'Friday Night' encompasses a similar vocal mantra but here the focus is not so much on the intricacies of the human heart, but rather the seduction, enthrallment, and sometimes unfortunate exclusivity inherent in sectors of the Berlin nightlife. Undoubtedly a track aimed towards the pitch-black nightclub 'Friday Night' is stricter in its intention, with less space for romanticism. An unrelenting Techno thud grinds with the mechanical shifting of gears and movement to create the desired hypnotic state whilst Anastasia's heavily treated vocals plume the melody into even darker recesses of the dancefloor.

Kassem Mosse makes an appearance to close the record with his own incredible interpretation of 'I can mend your broken heart'. To call this a remix is a discredit to Kassem's ability to completely transform a work into his own whilst staying respectful to the original artists intention. Much like his interpretation of Simone White's 'Flowers in May' (Honest Jons, 2015) Kassem takes the vocal line of the original and sets it against a deep, sprawling, immersive soundscape of his own. Over it's 10+ minutes a Deepchord style dubwise basin of echo and melody lingers behind the deepest Trip-Hop style palette of slow, churning, and intricately evolving percussion.


Machine Woman draws upon her foundations in '90s Leningrad and the hardest edge of her new home city's industrial scene to forge a raw, buzzing, and brutalist style working on the cusp of dance functionality and avant-garde, tonal exploration. - Boomkat.'

Ryoma Sasaki's Transit Records Kyoto drops its 3rd vinyl only title very soon in October -- 'Stefan Goldmann - Empty Suit'. This is a unique track that none other than Stefan Goldmann could make. Side A is an excellent techno workpiece included on the album '17:50'(macro). Side B is the exclusive track only on this vinyl release and is also a more friendly version for Djs. If you play it on the club floor, you are sure to get a great reaction from the crowd. This will be one of the most important 12 inch releases of 2013. Don't miss it!

Basement Galaxy is a TechnoLogical concept that will surge from mind expansive soundtracks to no holds barred DJ lineups bursting with Technotensity. Cowboy Rhythmbox return to Phantasy with a new set of recordings, following last year's celebrated debut two-side, 'We Got The Box' and 'Rattle', which gained international DJ support from the likes of Barnt, Carl Craig, Seth Troxler, Roman Flugel, Kim-Ann Foxman, Jackmaster and Lena Willikens, as well as featuring on Erol Alkan's acclaimed Fabriclive 77. Fantasma's distinctive three tracks continue from where Cowboy Rhythmbox left us; a trident forged from the sweat of a thousand lost nights spent dishevelled beneath tarnished mirror balls.

'Fantasma' takes it's cue from early sample fetishists Yello, a compelling, sensual and rather muscular piece of industrial house music underpinned with a series of mesmerising, cavernous breakdowns. This is the sound of a ride on the worlds biggest ghost train, the ultimate drug for morbid thrill seekers.

'The Natives Are Having Us For Dinner Tonight' drops the the tempo, but maintains the intensity. Militant 21st century exotica, heavily percussive fourth world music , an atonal hymn to found sounds and lost souls. A track very much inspired by Nathan's marathon DJ sets at Salon Des Amauters, the cult club in Dussledorf, home to one of the most legendarily open-minded dancefloors on the planet.

Finally, 'Latin Sex Change' melds a primitive drum machine with the sound of metal on metal, while mechanically altered vocal elements assist in creating a brutal and robust DJ tool, bringing aspects of EBM, early Chicago House and exotica to the fore once again.

Featuring a shocking pink redux of Will Sweeney's distinctive artwork on the sleeve, 'Fantasma' arrives in all good record shops on Friday 28th August, followed by a digital release on Friday 4th September.

We present the first new release of 2014 with Hector Sandoval as Deaxmade (50% of the duo Exium). The release is complete with two remixes by Oscar Mulero exploring dub territories and label owner Valentin Corujo aka Kessell. The result is three members of the Polegroup platform showing their ability to move around different styles of Techno.

Jack Murphy's debut 12" on new label Knowing Something. Having previously released records on Frozen Border sublabel Reference and Don't Be Afraid's Special Editions series, Murphy now ventures out on his own with this first Knowing Something record.

The record across its four tracks takes cues from a variety of places including mid-90s breaky techno, late 90s electro, and early 2000s Ifach records.

Michele Pinna presents a new LP under a fresh moniker and alter ego, Time Traveler, representing a direct confrontation of the artist's own fear of time as an unrelenting force. The LP, titled 'I'm Made Of Stars / Journal', takes inspiration from conversations between Pinna and his father on the topics of galaxies, space and of course, time. These converstions were the starting point for the abstract, futuristic and dark work presented on the new LP. The release also draws on Pinna's artistic interests outside of music, presenting a work not just of sound, but one with a coherent visual aesthetic spanning the physical releases of the LP. This visual aesthetic has taken shape through multiple collaborations with the photograpers, stylists and designers Nicolas Mazzei, Danila Tkachenko, Khourianbeer and Cinzia Araia.

The resulting album is a twisting sci-fi journey invoking images of a dystopian galactic future. Pinna takes techno and filters it through his own imagination, dismantling it and rebuilding it with an unheard palette of textures, timbres and rhythms. At times disorientating and chaotic and at others, restrained and delicate, the LP has one foot in dance music and the other in emotional and visionary experimentation. The album will arrive on Pinna's new label, Chronicles Diary, set up specififically for this release which can be considered much like a diary or journal of Pinna's emotions and imaginings of the future. A limited edition vinyl release will come with a fitting physical package much like a real black diary. Inside the sleeve can be found prints that are the product of Pinna's several collaborations, and serve to provide a visual reference point to the futuristic vision of Time Traveler. The standard vinyl release, aimed more at DJs, will come in paper moleskine packaging. Alongside these, there will be a cassette published followed by a digital release in the next months.

Their original track "Forever Forwards" is built with only the sounds of Drum Machines affected from "Chicago House". In addition, Quadra aka Hiroshi Watanabe and Robert Armani remixes are included in the vinyl.

Concept is the new baby established by the already international well known artist agency My Favourite Freaks, which consists of a four part and monthly released series starting in December 2015. All tracks will be out on vinyl and only for real and freaky club boyz and party girlz. International celebrated artists of the agency collaborated to create such a big collector's item.

And it's about time to celebrate the release of the second CONCEPT. EP, which is a four track techno and tech house vinyl straight for the clubs.

AFFKTs title Pied Piper is number one on the list, a spherical and even slower techno track, which is driven by a vintage like arpeggio synth. This catchy line leads to a huge breakdown with an explosive drop. To complete the track, AFFKT adds a fantastic groove, which needs to be played on a DJs playground.

Sayteks mix of his - Build And Drop shows a housier version of minimal techno. Detroit chords combined with four to the floor beats and a lot of delay effects, are a guarantor for a hands up moment in a club. The arrangement is very oldschool and more like a DJ tool. It should be your weapon of choice to get all freaks to the dance floor!

The 909 beats are very typical for the first track of the B-side, which is made by Macromism. A very groovy sub bassline lets your head wiggle, while a rap vocal sample drills in your head like a machine. Very minimalistic, but absolutely effective - this is what the freaks want!

Starting with a groovy beat, Timid Boy finalizes the fantastic second four tracker with his title - The Cops After Me . It is made of male vocal rhyme cuts and a filtered synth lead, which should remind us of police sirens. But don't be scared, all freaks should run - straight to the floor!
