space', a journey that started with »xerrox vol. 1«, referring to the old world', and »xerrox vol. 2«,
heading to the new world'.
using the process of copying as a basis, the xerrox series deals with the manipulation of data by
means of endless reproduction. due to the inherent vice of the procedure that becomes especially
visible when copies are made from copies, everyday sounds are so much altered that they can be
hardly associated with the source material anymore. as a result, entirely new sounds are created that,
being copies of originals, become originals themselves.
on »xerrox vol. 3«, a new aspect enters the scene. inspired by childhood film memories from the
1970s including tarkovsky's adaption of solaris' and la isla misteriosa y el capitán nemo' based on
jules verne's the mysterious island', the record shows alva noto's private side. with its very intimate
atmosphere, it is a personal reflection of dreams, an imaginary journey through emotional landscapes
or, as he himself puts it, a cinematographic emotion of a soundtrack to a film that actually does not
exist in reality.'
alvo noto himself further states, I see »xerrox vol. 3« as my most personal album so far. I have
to admit that this emotional output is a surprise even for myself. it remains exciting how the last two
albums of this series will sound like.'

PRAXXIZ continues to evolve the cut & thrust of their release catalogue with what may be their strongest release to date.
Frenchman Christopher Kah has an impeccable 'story so far', having released & remixed his take on Techno, with and for genre icons Terrence Fixmer, Dave Clarke, Anthony Rother, Mount Simms and Laurent Garnier.

His own releases are regularly supported by some of Technos biggest international stars like UKs Dave Clarke, USA born Plasticman and Germanys prime mover & cultural innovator Dr. Motte.

Therefore it is no real surprise that it is on Dr. Mottes very own PRAXXIZ Records that we are treated to Christopher Kahs latest and quiete superb 4 track EP 'Room4', which showcases the wide ranging production talents and deep understanding of his chosen creative zone that mark him out as very much a true player and a man clearly giving his beloved Techno a lot of love!

All 4 tracks, Slowly, Room4, Misery & Addict, display a finely crafted fusion of the essential aspects of various branches from Techno's very own Tree Of Life. All in all a real treat for open minded minimalists, Detroit devotees and proper Techno supporters. There's even a tip of the hat to Techno's partly Industrial roots and a hint of Electronic Listening Music. Its all in there!

The real strength of this release is how Christopher crafts all these influences together in a way that leads the listener to acknowledge their presence, but into an end result that is not easy to define or pidgeon hole. The mark of a true artist

EVOL's work is an aesthetic exploration of algorithmic composition and a deconstruction of rave culture, and has been released on record labels such as Mego, Presto! and their own label ALKU.

After his latest Be As One release O.D. / Helter Skelter", and following Yotam Avni and Konplott's endevours on the label, Shlomi Aber keeps Techno flowing from his imprint, releasing his new Zipperwork / Clones In My Backroom' EP. Zipperwork' is a relentless, fast paced Techno cut, heavy bass and chunky groove, with a smartly programmed groove. Flip the side, and with Clones In My Backroom' you get a slice of straight acidic Techno funk, a big room anthem with a distinctive quirky line that goes the extra mile, set to be one of the major of tune of Spring 2015.

Tim Green is back and presents his 3rd release for Cocoon Recordings. With the two predecessors in mind these three records make a really cool trilogy as all of them are ultra deep, electronic, emotional and (again) perfectly programmed! Among Wolves' follows the typical Tim Green formular with this highly musical way of combining surpreme beats and massive basslines with deep melodies. This is music, this is art and this story telling with sounds. Among Wolves' is one of Greens most dramatic productions so far and it will for sure take you on a trip while getting lost on the floor. Over The Water' appears a bit more relaxed however it doesn't leave the emotional and dramatic corner. If you are bored of all those simple and loop-based toolhouse productions you'll definitely find something touching and interesting here. Tim Green prooves again that he is the uncrowned master of electronic music if it comes to deep and emotional productions. Something to feed your brain, your body and your soul. Something to get lost to and something to stand out for sure!

The fifth release on Visionquest's vinyl only offshoot features three hot licks from label stalwarts Rework, the legendary Konrad Black and Moreon & Baffa.The A Side kicks off with Rework's stunning 'Bilbao', A lesson in stripped back euphoric machine funk drenched in pads and rolling synth lines, A perfect late night beauty. Side B opens with the pairing of Moreon and Baffa, who give us 'Malcrigia' A track that combines tough drum programming with deep dub like synths to create the perfect synergy, driving, melodic and moody. Konrad Black's 'Trophic Cascade' rounds out the EP, A track to get lost in, layers of synths, pads and disjointed ethereal voices and field recordings drift in and out of the mix crafting an atmosphere of tension throughout the track while guiding into the deepest, darkest corners of the dance-floor.Please note these will be vinyl only and a limited pressing.

First release from new French electronics imprint EIS HAUS comes from James Birchall, aka Rough Fields, operating under the YTAC pseudonym for the first time since 2014's Barbusse/Switchism EP. Heavy slo-mo techno and warped house for big systems.

The debut full EP from the Diamond Sublimating duo might catch you off guard. A record that is earthy and dark yet somewhat ethereal, this 002 for the new label comes in steaming. Recorded by the Hungarian duo on Csepel Island of Budapest, "The Heat Is On" grinds and swirls through expertly crafted blends of house, techno and breakbeat to deliver a body of work that will suit dancefloors at the same time as solo introspection. Remixes from London's Altered Natives and Budapest native Mate Tollner slot in perfectly, each providing their respective take on the homegrown soundscaping that is Diamond Sublimating. The Heat Is On!

Gary Martin releases his second sequential EP on Motech Records, the 'This is It' EP. The Ep features two more exclusive tracks, 'This is It' a driving composition accented with piano and synth patterns and subtle funky movement, and 'Galaxy Style' a percussive, building composition expertly laced with muted samples and synth progressions.

Included on this EP are two remixes from techno veterans Mark Broom and Rolando. Broom takes on 'This is It' chopping the original into a hyper dance floor drubbing burner. Rolando re-treats 'Galaxy Style' into a composition that unfolds as it progresses, bathed in signature Rolando production elements.

Science Fiction continues their Interplanetary mission, this time they reached Uranus and discovered 3 quality analogue techno tracks, incl. a fine remix from Xenogears aka The Analogue Cops.

Release number 10 introduces us to the music of Nachtamt. This is his debut release and he is another one of Estroe's Music Advice Agency talents.

Nachtamt first met Estroe in 2013 as he was looking to get advice on producing music with Ableton Live. It meant that in their first session together Estroe had to 'endure' Nachtamt's extensive library of FastTracker productions, but after a few more sessions she would begin to hear the potential in Nachtamt's Ableton creations.

The sessions with Estroe would drive Nachtamt to create more and more music which eventually lead to Estroe
signing two of his exquisitely evocative tracks to Rosedale Records.

The idea behind Nachtamt's original mix of 'Enhanced Awareness' is to depict levels of awareness and how people perceive the world, and how things may not be what they seem at first glance. The track starts with a springy bassline while gentle aqueous percussion materializes gradually as if delicate raindrops are beginningto fall on the surface of a small stream. Like a floating leaf, one is carried along in the flow. High metallic synth sounds shimmer like moonlight through trees and dance delicately with the emerging carillon of chiming melodies as the whole semblance of the track transforms into something a little less gentle, but more gloriously lush.

MUUI's remix of 'Enhanced Awareness' explores Nachtamt's idea further and deeper. It opens with a mood of apprehensiveness. A continuous single note hangs uneasy in the mix as distant and reverb soaked bass synths lurk, brooding in the shadows like a menacing figure. Short, sharp melodies hide almost from view while the chattering percussion which occasionally surfaces is like a paranoid thought - or like nervous eyes watching...

The question is, who is hiding from who

The original mix of 'A Minority of One' contemplates a quote from George Orwell's '1984' in which the main character, Winston, considers whether or not he is mad for believing the truth even when no one else does.

'Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.' The staccato orchestral stabs and almost militaristic rhythm of the percussion is obedient, like the citizens of 'Oceania', they work away throughout the track while the introspective but defiant sounding lead captures the idea of a solitary mind beautifully. Estroe's remix of 'A Minority of One' starts off with sombre pads and atmospherics. The loneliness of the overlying melody and it's introspective nature portray the 'Minority of One' theme perfectly. Once again, as in the original, orchestral stabs announce themselves. Unsubmissive they stand out, on their own, reinforcing the original idea further. However there is a different feel to the remix in that the mood is more reflective and while quite melancholic, there are periodic moments of optimism, like Winston has slowly accepted the nature of his thoughts.

Attic Music launches his new vinyl-only series, Attic Laqs, with the purpose to release always more music and artists. Laq 01 is signed by Allen, a north american producer already out on M_Rec Ltd. Allen approaches Attic Music with four pieces of obsessive ritual techno, each one with different tone and deep intricate rhythmic programming. He weaves spectral throbs into obscure tunnel creating deep bubble of bass and hypnotic layered loops.

E.O.S. is the acronym of Evod, Oisel and Syntaxism. The collaboration is born togheter with a new catalogue of Evod Music, called Evod Excursions. Luna Nuova is the first of the 8 releases planned on trasparent 7inch vinyls. The collaboration project was born to blend the main sonorities of each artist, with no borders of experimentation. All the sounds were created and processed with analog machines, live recorded. The final result is a track splitted in X and Y on the wax, a full side and an ambient side, respectively.

What's in the du name 030303 records asked three of their favourite prod'ucers with matching names to du an ep together: Ann Harbour's D'Marc Cantu and Mark du Mosh & Paul du Lac, both from the dutch harbour city Rotterdam. The result is dynamite! A1"Mine Motion" is a monsterous jacker in the rawest form how only mr Cantu can du! On the B side Mark du Mosh takes off with a flight to "Bermuda" with a hot & steamy roaring electronic beast sitting on the wing of the plane and causing some heavy turbulence. Fortunatly du Mosh keeps us flying high with some deep emotional synths. Last but not least Paul du Lac delivers a dark psychedelic techtool called "Beta Rhythm". A track that creeps under your skin as a virus, causing some serious haziness from noding your head. Be aware that this record will appear on vinyl only!

Japanese producer Den releases his second EP from his own label NETA. Den has previously released from Op.Disc run by Fumiya Tanaka and Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hanno, Trapez, Them, Multivitamin. The 4 tracks with his unique groove for all the djs to use as functional tools for the floor!

Our new release has been a long time coming and is the first collaboration between those evil twins that are LDDLM and KILL THE DJ, two labels joined at the hips.

C.A.R. is Chloe Raunet's project, whose album MY FRIEND will be released on October 25th on KTDJ. This is obviously an important project all round for her and for us and there was so much to do that two labels was a perfect idea. She originally wrote the lyrics for Gesaffelstein, who turned them down in favour of another two tracks they'd done together. A new song was woven from the words.

Roman Flugel is not only an old friend of the family but also one of our favourite producer. His album on DIAL and recent remixes has proven that he's on the top of his game. There are bleeps, there are subs, and Chloe's vocal drifting on top of a general electronic monster.

Kill the DJ commissioned the Planningtorock remix and we loved it so much that we "stole it' for our vinyl release. Jam has made the song hers, pitching down the vocal, punking up the bass grove and adding, yes, disco strings.

Manfredas remix of Angelina has been Ivan's biggest record for the whole of last year, licensed by Rebolledo for his mixed CD and causing a stir here and there. This is a very hard track to describe, a cross between a panzer and Rondo Veneziano on acid. It's for those who dares.

Finally, Robert Johnson and Hinvern new wunderkid, Benedikt Frey (his Blanc 002 was...) delivers a brilliant acid rendering but not a cliché plastic warehouse things. This builds and builds and builds...

Mick Finesse Dj/producer/promoter based in Denver makes his second appear on Broken Mind Recordings. Last year with his remix for BMR001 (Run And Hide by Magdalena) helped to give shape to BMR sound.
Now, for BMR002, going back to the original idea of the label about releasing on vinyl, nothing could fit better than Mick Finesse's industrial, dirty, underground, techno sound. With these 2 original tracks, Mick guides us from edge to edge, from an aggressive, noisiest atmosphere with "Prudence Organization", through a dub and dark surrounding feeling, with "From The Previous Present".
Along side with him, two big names of North American industrial techno take part in this release, Donor with a more dub remix of "Prudence Organization" giving us the feeling of being inside a drain with these metallic sounds; and Pinion, makes a combined interpretation with "Pinion Previous Prudence Version" giving his characteristic touch of young and heavy industrial sounds.

After a three-year production hiatus, Barcelona's techno kingpin Paco Osuna returns with not only a new release for Richie Hawtin's Minus label, but also his debut LP, entitled Long Play-eight precision tracks, purpose-built for the dance floor in his inimitable style.Long Play is a meeting point of Paco Osuna's past and his future. The product of nearly 20 years behind the decks from early residencies at Amnesia in the late '90s, to an integral role in Hawtin's current ENTER. events at Space and a push forward for techno, house, minimal, and tech-house, Long Play's sleek and exuberant tracks are thread together by Osuna's always-addictive basslines. 'The bassline is my obsession,' he says-the key ingredient to making picture-perfect techno and playing incredible, unflaggingly energetic DJ sets. After taking a lengthy break from production to focus on his busy performance schedule, Osuna worked on Long Play in fits and starts. But the album really came to life after the recent birth of his son. 'I had this really crazy idea to record him crying or making noises, and put it in a track. Thank god I didn't do that,' he says with a laugh. 'I knew I needed to do something serious.' What resulted was this suite of dance-floor tracks that succinctly represent what Osuna's fans have come to expect from his legendary DJ sets. 'Soft, hard, funky... I'm very open-minded, and I like to play everything,' he explains. Gentle congas and a swerving bassline make 'Let's Dream' the 'perfect track for an afterhours,' Osuna contends. It's followed by a divebombing bass synth that punctuates the hearty tech-house thump of 'Only You.' 'Nop Games' brings to mind Osuna's slick minimalist moments, and 'Gate Scape' fills the gaps in between with a quickened pace with upbeat drums.

QY are finally returning to their mothership with three tracks that immediately will take control of your hidden daydreams.

AS is a group of Xperienz Designers based in Berlin. TIPPED...

If you like your techno bruised and bleeding, you'd have taken note of Manchester's AnD. Over the last few years they've been making their presence known with a series of unbridled releases for labels like Horizontal Ground, Black Sun Records, Repitch Recordings and their own self-titled stable. 'Harder' has indeed been the duo's mantra, bellowed stony-faced from the rasping recedes of industrial's brittle outer rim. But it hasn't always been this way. Before the broken bones and caustic, pitch-black tear-outs there's been deep and dubby reprieves, techy dubstep and even washed-out drum and bass on the likes of Idle Hands, Project Squared and Hidden Hawaii all with equaled astuteness. It's clear there's little out of AnD's reach, and they're certainly not bowing down to anyone. 'Kundalini' then, AnD's debut EP for Electric Deluxe, is not something to be taken lightly. The EP opens with a trio of patented AnD-style monsters, cataclysmic techno siblings all venomous and rusted through. It's a dark and unforgiving trail with these guys as drill sergeant, until 'ICDBYC' that is. Not quite the calm before the storm, here we have AnD pull back from the bloody onslaught to turn a cleaner, more calculated sort of weapon. Cool and tactical shadow skulking, trimmed with IDM. This one is just as deadly!

Composer, improviser, and Buchla Music Easel master Charles Cohen returns to Morphine with a suite of new material.
In keeping with the timbre spectrum of his semi-modular system, Brother I Prove You Wrong is built around pointillist analog tones—Cohen's cosmic "beeps and boops"—that swarm and scatter in mesmeric patterns across four sides. Moving through surrealistic textural overlays and industrial miasma, the album's nine tracks reveal a more introspective and personal side of the artist, following from a retrospective LP trilogy released via Morphine in 2013. Those assembled works, dating back to the late '70s, quickly became essential listening and brought Cohen—at the time largely unknown outside Philadelphia's experimental circuit—to critical renown.

Brother I Prove You Wrong was recorded in Berlin in September 2014 using the Buchla Music Easel, with production help and support from Rabih Beaini. Mastered by Neel and curated and designed by Tank Boys; cover art by Nathalie du Pasquier.

Snork Enterprises is going W!ld, this release will make your eyes glisten!!! Known for his releases on Catwash, Robsoul, Love Letters from Oslo and many more labels, we´re happy to announce that Mr. DJ W!ld found his way to Snork Enterprises, which surely brings the label a supreme kick of groovy and pleasant cheerfull housemusic from Paris. Connecticut's Jon Beall, recording as Entro Senestre, has gained critical acclaim thanks to brilliant releases on labels like W.T. Records, Echovolt and L.I.E.S..
On his debut for Dekmantel, Beall has taken his signature vintage flavors of techno and electro and pushed them into news spheres of the frightening, combining chalky, continuous drum tracks with an ear for emotionally challenging melodies. Championing timeless electro-techno that breathes real soul, this four tracker does Senestre proud and alters a dynamic EP that is ear-piercing and contemplative, nifty and evocative.

Nyctophilia is considered to be the love of darkness. Most people find pure relaxation and comfort in the darkness as they feel more free than ever. Free of acting, doing, saying, feeling, being. Dark applies to ultimate freedom and what better can support freedom than techno Marco Bailey knows that and he strikes back on his MBR Limited imprint with his new production ''Nyctophilia'', coming up with a remix by the one and only Emmanuel. It's beautiful deep in the night, especially when we have good music by our side. Because, without the darkness, how could we see the light

Everybody knows Microworld from his legendary EP on Derrick May's Transmat label in 1999. His output has been rather limited since then, with only a handful of releases on labels like Styrax Leaves and Millions Of Moments. He sent us a demo because he liked our recent releases and we were thrilled to say the least. The best Detroit techno to come out of Australia, and that's a fact! :-) First pressing on marbled orange 10" vinyl.

Miss Djax has the TB303 in her DNA, that's no surpise! But there's more to discover on her new album 'FLIGHT 303'. Miss Djax blends her musical past with the future and mixes old school sounds with influences from nowadays dance music. To think out of the box has always been her motto. Therefore 'FLIGHT 303' cannot be labeled as a typical techno or acid album.

And there's even more then just music on this release. Exclusively available with the vinyl album of 'FLIGHT 303' is a new Miss Djax comic by Alan Oldham. The album + comic is released in a limited edition of 303 copies only and each comic is handnumbered by Miss Djax herself. The comic has also been animated into an amazing videoclip by VJ Yzco.

Madrid-based producer Manuel Anós returns on his own Non Series imprint to release his new EP just after his remarkable solo debut on Tresor. Psyk brings now to 'Origin', 2 tracks in the Manuel's most basic and stripped down aesthetics to explore his sonic origins through loops and wires.

Guy Brewer returns to his Avian label with a a two-part EP, Arrangements In Monochrome - his first Shifted releases since last year's Hospital Productions album 'Under A Single Banner'.

Although not conceived as an album project, Arrangements In Monochrome's two EPs can be viewed together as a single entity - the result of Brewer's continuing exploration of textured noise excursions and muscular techno of considerable drive and heft, all the while retaining a cinematic quality within its quieter moments.

The simultaneous release of the two EPs arrives in December, bringing to a close a year that has seen Avian release the sophomore album of Swedish duo SHXCXCHCXSH and EPs from Sigha and Alessandro Cortini's Skarn alias.

"Arrangements In Monochrome was written in my new studio setup in Berlin in spring of 2014. I almost view these works as an addendum to last years 'Under A Single Banner' LP. I was very happy with that record but always felt that perhaps there was some things left unsaid. The technical process involved this time around was quite different, but it shares a lot of the same colours and textures." - Shifted

The 'Receiver' series presents six remixes of tracks from Peter Van Hoesen's acclaimed 'Perceiver' album. All six interpretations showcase the best of what contemporary techno has to offer. The third Receiver release teams up Berghain resident Marcel Fengler with Italian producer Neel, Donato Dozzy's partner in Voices From The Lake. Fengler brings his trademark Berlin sound to the table, craftly reworking Inspection In Solitude. He strips down the original and builds it from the ground up, using shuffling percussion and an insistent melody. Time to jack. Neel's remix brings a deep and dark tunnel to mind. Randomer returns to the Clone Basement Series!

TenGrams are brothers Alessandro and Davide Piatto, who collectively have a deep and long understanding of dance music. Davide runs the N.O.I.A. label and was one of Italy's first touring electronic live acts, performing and recording with drum machines and synthesizers as early as 1978. He was also behind seminal Italo outfit Klein + M.B.O and proto house hit 'Dirty Talk.' Since then they have released under an array of aliases, have clocked up many hits and this new project brings them back to their electronic roots, with influences like sci-fi movies and old school techno looming large.

Ryuji Takeuchi blends Breakdown with more straight groove and strong percussions to make it a floor killer. Tomohiko Sagae breaks Dark Encounter into pieces and reconstructs with crazy noise and stabs to bring it to different world. For our 3rd vinyl release, Go Hiyama brings this powerful EP with a superb NX1 Remix. Go opens up the EP with 'Mean' which contains full of darkness and dry atmosphere, and this track has already been compiled in the 2nd Unknown Landscapes mix CD by Christian Wunsch on PoleGroup Recordings. Then, NX1 breaks and rebuilds the original 'Philosopher' completely, which sounds almost another original track. After that, 'Philosopher' original version enlightens 'techno for dancefloor' theory with straight rhythm patterns and stabs. At last, 'Modeling Of Lights' closes the journey with very fearful and dark atmosphere. The whole EP is a story and Go is a great storyteller. This is a masterpiece of Go's work.

Benedikt Frey's arresting Out Of Here was the second entry of our Blanc series. Originally a vinyl-only limited release, now the track gets a fresh new treatment in the hands of two mainstays of European techno: Roman Flugel and Simon Haydo. Flugel's Cosmic Disco Drama Rework lives up to its name, maintaining the noir disco spirit of the original track but infusing it with tension-building sequences and strings that give it an extra mischievous twist. Our favorite frankfurter also straightens the rhythmic skeleton and adds shuffling shakers to make it a relentless dancefloor weapon. Haydo's remix delves into a more dismal terrain, transforming the vocals into haunted echoes, adding esoteric synths and topping it all with razor-sharp percussion in what sounds like a storm of ice asteroids falling into a lake of steel. The 12inch comes in a beautiful sleeve featuring an exclusive illustration by Barcelona-based artist Pau Lopez and design by Arnau Pi.

As Until My Heart Stops turns 10, we head back across the Atlantic , this time to Boston and a stunning ep from the still hugely under rated DeViere.DeViere is a music producer and radio disc jockey (Progressive Black, 90.3 FM WZBC Newton) based in Boston, Massachusetts. He first came to our attention with the Transcendental Numbers ep on Jamal Moss' Mathematics label in 2012 and we've waited on each release ever since, including last year's huge Future Shock Disco ep (a collaboration with Jamal himself).Here DeViere presents 3 beautiful examples of his deep, soulful craft and a fitting way for UMHS to hit double figures.

It's been a busy 2014 so far for label head Dubfire. Whilst nothing unusual for the Persian-born producer, with the revival of Deep Dish (alongside Sharam), the release of their new single 'Quincy', the continuation of the SCI+TEC radio show, the release of his much vaunted remix of 'Come' featuring Asia Argento and his relentless global touring schedule, it would be a surprise to find even a slither of studio time for original Dubfire productions...

But find he did and today he unveils EXIT, his new single and collaboration with the first lady of techno, Miss Kittin. The pair have wanted to work together for years now and after a few idea exchanges they managed to sink their teeth into something magical. The strong low-end Dubfire groove is evident once again on EXIT as the pair playfully chop and reverse Kittin's vocals, pushing and withdrawing the bass to allow her sultry vocals to shine. On the flip we're treated to the electrifying wall of sound that is MIDIAN with its all-enveloping bass, pierced by energizing and synapse-searing shocks.

After the success of the first release, Hund Records is coming back with a huge Ep from a new young rising star of electronic music: Jerome.c. Already supported by tINI, Robert Dietz, Enzo Siragusa, Loquace, Seb Zito and more all around the world. Jerome gives us two dub tracks with a little flow on raw and alongside there are a remix from Dan Farserelli from the famous Fuse London Crew that hasn't need presentation, and Max J & Coockies, two other talented belgian guys.

Nihilistic muscle-wasting drones and vapid acid from Funeral Fog Records leader Jurko Haltuu and his Dod associate Benjamin Syra. A follow up from their totemic "Nike Sweatshops" release which first caught my ear with it's absurdly minimal
and extended forms of acid techno... .

Once again Dod offer darkly humourous side-glances at patriarchal structure be that muscle culture or rigorous, repetitive and essentially meaningless musics.
Where Nike Sweatshops considers the production line and true value of the product, Muscle Trax make sonic the waste of matter whether loosing or gaining.
As Jurko made clear to me during the design of the tape... "More muscles on it."

Gregor Tresher´s recent full-length album "Lights From The Inside" has been praised by the press, DJs and fans alike as yet another masterpiece in a long line of releases that has cemented Gregor´s status as one of the most consistent artists in modern electronic music. Tracks like "Leaving", "Through The Shadow Glass" and "As Days Go By" (pre-released on Josh Wink´s Ovum imprint) found their way into playlists and charts of many of the usual suspects in the international Techno circuit.

First reference of Blitzkrieg Waves label, a humble, plain and honest project in the hands of two close friends united in the same concept (Demuff y Manuel Monino), which is now released under the name of Heer Division 1, which is the beginning point of a row of references which we will have the chance of enjoy along this year.
The first one, comes in charge of two renowned and defined figures in the spanish techno scene, Kike Pravda y HD Substance, who will lead and mark off the lines to follow in the emerging project. These artists will bring their personal and musical vision up having been supported by many important labels. In this record we will find 4 tracks, Kike Pravda y HD Subtance providing two tracks each.

Born in Italy in 1988, Alessio Meschieri's love of House music began at age 15. Exhilarated by mixing led him to the decks and by 20, his passion drove him to the studio where (under a different moniker), his productions were signed on a variety of labels.

We're excited to welcome UZB aka Unam Zetineb aboard Sleaze Records! This new alias was started last year by the Barcelona based producer, kicking off with two killer releases on Dustin Zahn's Enemy Records. His debut on Sleaze features two deep, chugging techno tracks with infectious chords, as well as one gritty digital bonus track. It's always great to get new work from Mark Broom, who has been one of the most consistent producers over the past few years. His remix of 'Crome' is another example of this! Markus Suckut released his debut album on Figure earlier this year and we're delighted to finally get him on the label.

"YPIN and Osynlig Fetma's Grafiti Tape #3 was a favourite listen of 2015. A funny, composed and truly odd mixtape. This is the same thing (post Cher "Believe" cover Top 10 success)...Half narrated by YPIN, abrupt interludes of answerphone message paranoias jump in and out the mixtape which is a balance beam of bizarro acid sketches, dying gear memorials and outright tweaked club bangers. The tape is sold with a slightly different tracklist (there's more) than the digital in this situation so make your decision and/or keep your eyes peeled to nodata for the insta-rip (bastardos). CHEERS ARVID, GOOD BYE.

Dutch legend and Wolfskuil inner circle member Benny Rodrigues returns to the label for a fresh twelve. In the DJ booth he has no equal and established himself as one of the world's premier selectors. Besides his ominous DJ skills, Benny has been making waves in the studio the last couple of years as well. Wether it be as ROD or under his own name, respected imprints worldwide have embraced and released his productions with eagerness. Klockworks, CLR, Drumcode and Desolat are just a few of the labels he can call home now.

Wolfskuil wouldn't be Wolfskuil if we didn't pick the 'odd one' of the litter. The Choice Is Mine might be the most freaked out & modulated excersize Benny has yet to unleash upon the world. No 4 bars in this mental trip are the same, ever evolving around a sequence that brings old 90's warehouse techno to mind.

A peaktime monster like this deserves a royal rework. Berghain resident, Dystopian head honcho and man of the moment Rødhåd happily agreed to give his own and unique vision on the original. The result is stunning, psychedelic and with a little unexpected surprise in the final part of his remix and compliments the original in a perfect. Another Gem in our catalogue, we hope you will enjoy this as much as we do!

Part 04 of the birdie project welcomes a collaboration of new artists to the stable.Nick Sinna is an old Mancunian friend of Trevino that over the past few months has totally found his feet in the world of production. Armed with a killer analogue studio Nicks ' Sidewinder' is a rough and ready techno workout and provides a strong lead to the ep.
Sideways is a project between Trevino and Old dnb compatriot DJ Lee. Here they cook up an offbeat low end rattler with some rather nifty percussion and synth work.
Mosca's 'verb laden transformation of Trevino's Playtime has some great low end vibrations and sounds killer on a big system.
Finally, Adam Pek and Cory James, two new artist hailing out of New York add a touch of class to the EP with a mighty fine piece of break beat electronica.

Bryan Black AKA Black Asteroid returns to Electric Deluxe with his most precise and daring invention yet. 'Metal' picks up from where the 'Black Acid EP' left off with more sonic alchemies sounding unlike anything else. The former Prince engineer turned MOTOR front man turned galvanic techno DJ, producer and performer has had an incredible run in his latest guise. Since debuting on CLR with 'The Engine EP' over a series of well-shaped and energetic releases Bryan Black has forged a distinct and unique signature that is tactile, otherworldly and utterly timeless. Ingenious sound design has become his calling card, while Black's award winning MOTOR heritage never seems far behind. Moments on 'Black Acid' felt like he brought the band to the DJ booth. And with 'Metal' the sentiment rings even truer. This is 'heavy metal techno,' says Black, 'but in a very restrained and controlled way.' Indeed the hum of guitars (synths routed through guitar pedals) whirr through lead track 'Metal,' a taut and punchy workout spliced with token Black Asteroid weirdness. Meanwhile Black gets even more contained on the masterfully metronomic 'Turbine". Droid affiliate Luis Flores and Pinion (Bobby Dowell) then split 'Metal' off into its opposing sectors. Flores takes things straight the dance floor, while Pinion ramps up the noise and clangor to turn in a real unholy 'Metal' monster. Another must for Black Asteroid fans and for those who like their techno cast from mysterious molds.

Damn! Did somebody upset Carlo Coz that boy has been throwing down some vicious balls-to-wall beats across his recent releases... and we love it! He got nasty with Shaded's Gender Bender and kicked some serious ass on his latest for Carl Cox's Intec.

Whilst Carlo's latest outings may be fierce, our Toronto brother has lost none of the trademark funk that permeates all of his work. The magic ingredient that keeps our hips on the move.

Carlo returns to MOOD with DeeBug, the rampant techno tick that burrows into your brain with its rapid, pincer-like drums and thumping kick. On the flip its fellow ear-bug, No Turning Back, flows with an almost laid-back and effortless groove. A perfect pair from Mr. Lio.

Tanzbar Records presents their first release, a vinyl only two tracker with music from Far Out Radio Systems, which is the techno moniker of Kiani & His Legion (We Play House Recordings, Eskimo Recordings, Defected Records etc.). First up is 'Darwin', a no-nonsense dancefloor with hard-hitting kickdrums and menacing percussion. On the flip, we have the post apocalyptic rhythm track 'Empty The Tanks (A New Trance Is Here)' with a Garnier-like subbass and emotive strings. Both tracks, which have been played a lot by the few DJ's who received a promo, showcase the new musical territories Tanzbar Records wants to venture in: a techno sound that lays somewhere between big rooms and basements, with elements reminiscent of '90's acid, second wave techno and early trance. Blank Code presents BCR002 - Beta EP from The Plant Worker (also known as A. Trebor), released on 12" vinyl with custom made silk screened jackets and available with an additional track found exclusively on the digital release. Beta 01 represents merciless techno, with a pounding kick and unexpected drops that leave the listener gasping for breath. The Luis Flores remix introduces a subtle swing, making it more danceable than the original while still retaining the ominous tones imbued in the track by The Plant Worker. Beta 02 stumbles in with anxious acid synths and urgent hi-hat patterns, slowly building to a massive climax. Mysterious chimes wandering around the sonic space give a haunting feel to Beta 03, the eery conclusion of the vinyl version of the release. Liam Blackburn's transformative 'Night Of Visions' LP as Ancestral Voices forged a bold new sonic identity for an influential figure on the electronic music scene. From his groundbreaking work as Indigo and onto the success of Akkord's hybrid electronic melting pot (with Synkro), the quest for forward movement is intrinsic to everything Liam produces. To further celebrate the 'Night Of Visions' LP release, we asked some of our favourite producers to reconstruct some of 'Night Of Visions' highlights in their own style.

Each remixer chose their own track from 'Night Of Visions' to work with. The first name on our remix list was Swedish producer and Northern Electronics label head - Abdulla Rashim. Choosing 'Invocations', his remix focuses on the hypnotic power of the original, turning the tune into a golden loop with subtle kick drum stabs, sweeping percussion and a dangling tension that hangs through the entire 7.33 minutes. ASC & Sam KDC chose 'Feathered Serpent' and using just touches of the original tune have masterfully built an all new backbone that demonstrates clearly the ability of the 'Grey Area' sound to work at 2 different tempo's and weld together with straight techno.

Following his stunning Apollo debut album 'Water' in 2013, Anton Zap AKA Anton Barbashev, the Russian electronic pioneer returns to the label for another foray into his highly distinctive, deep and ever evolving productions.
Without doubt one of the leaders of the burgeoning generation of Muscovite electronic producers, 'Subculture' sees Zap building on 'Water's seismic achievements, expanding on his trademark luscious house sound into verdant new areas.
Once again, as we've come to expect from an Anton Zap record, the production is impeccable, with sounds ranging from the blissed-out hip-hop stomp of 'Free Fall' and crunching beats of 'One Week', to the slender, mysterious jazzy breakbeat workout 'Incident' and dubby space-tech of closer 'Pauspapier'. A vital release from one of electronic music's most original and singular voices.

hile it may seem as though it's been a quiet year in the studio for Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer Greg Schappert (aka Donor), his first full-length album entitled Against All on Chicago-based Prosthetic Pressings, will prove otherwise.

This 10-track release is a tour de force of formidable intensity and suspense and Donor wastes no time creating an ethereal realm right from the start. By taking a deep dive into a dystopian world full of distant transmission like voices, expressed through field recordings taken in and around New York City, Donor successfully paints a picture of what could be his unsettling vision of the future. While it may be difficult to explain how this album progresses throughout, there is something below the surface tying everything together, leaving us with a feeling of despair in that the world does not end how it is likely to be perceived through this beautiful or haunting, yet sophisticated, soundtrack. Alien invasions, civil war, post apocalyptic mayhem, call it what you will, Donor sets the stage for an unsettling vision of the not so distant future that can be heard in his thought provoking debut LP.

Donor's time spent overseas living in countries like Spain and Japan, his love for Birmingham Industrial Techno and early Dutch and Detroit Electro, combined with his upbringing on John Carpenter films, have all contributed to Donor creating his unique, yet recognizable sound.

Factory Floor return in 2016 with 25 25, their second album for DFA and the follow up to their hugely acclaimed 2013 self-titled debut. With their music stripped to a mesmerising dance of percussion, fragmented voice and melody, 25 25 captures the next vital stage in the evolution of one of the UK's most restless and exploratory groups.
Following the release of their debut album Factory Floor in 2013, the band - consisting of Nik Void and Gabriel Gurnsey - slimmed down to a duo. Having already boiled the scorched textures of their early singles down into their debut's hallucinatory club-not-club stomp, they both seized the opportunity to voyage further along the pathway, mixing the album with razor-sharp precision via David Wrench (FKA Twigs, Caribou).
Inspired by playing a growing number of late night club shows, the pair's music gradually evolved into the sound captured on their second album and in their current live incarnation: a stark, ultra-minimalist and eerily soulful dancefloor pulse, yet one that still bears Factory Floor's unmistakable hallmarks of hypnotic repetition and jagged, punkish intensity.

* Stunning debut from London based artist Forest Drive West for Livity Sound.

* 'System' revolves around an irresistible deep and tripping pneumatic broken drum groove, propelling the track through ten tense minutes of foggy atmospherics.

Francisco Allendes, a classic violinist with a synth rock background, one of the most interesting electronic music artists from Chile, already released on Ghostly, Cadenza and several other labels. Italian born DJ, producer and Ibiza resident Paola Poletto, is not only the 'first female DJ to ever perform at Pacha' - she is also a graduated sound engineer. Together Francisco and Paola are not only the nicest couple of dance music, but as a producer team they are also about to leave a deep mark on the musical landscape. Their Desolat debut is a 4 track EP with their unique view on house music, full of optimism, fun and sundrenched grooves. Enjoy!

Magnetic techno attractors. Steel crisis alarm signal funk. Europa-futura rave gyrations.Counterchange founder Ed Davenport returns with his Inland alias after a short hiatus to re-ignite Function's Infrastructure imprint which he co-manages.
An Inland EP also dropped on Boddika's Nonplus+ label last autumn picking up strong support as Ed honed in the project's sound strategy. COUNTER006 continues the conceptual yet dancefloor-friendly approach with an emphasis on bold, metallic textures, classic sci-fi techno theories and ethereal melodic sequences. Footstone is a straight up modern-rave track aimed at the peak hours, its syncopated, mutated synth hook riding atop a tough jack-track. Sinker sets off an emergency self-destruct alarm while dropping a layer of tough Detroit-styled funk on top.
This leaves Leylines to carve a smoother, melodic path through the current European techno landscape; bleepy, bass heavy and forward thinking. Following this EP will be a remix package featuring mixes from Matrixxman, Par Grindvik, BNJMN and Madrid based Pole Group affiliate Ribe. R&S welcomes Shanghai Den to the family for his killer debut single 'The Sun / Vale W. Group'.

It's safe to say that Shanghai Den's music is a little out of the ordinary- in his own words he describes it as "the fear inside of all of us mixed with a constant stream of chemical self medication." From the opening of 'The Sun', the harsh beats, strobing filter sweeps and tripped out pads with lysergic overtones, immediately evoke a state that might well be described as 'slightly euphoric', while on the flip side, the apocalyptic lament of Vale W Group Bench, with its buzzing reece bass and mournful synths starts to slow down the respiratory and central nervous system, blocking pain messages to the brain.

Perhaps this narcotic obsession has something to do with his exposure to Falty DL's Drew Lustman, who gave SD his first break on their skronking collab 'King Brute'.. One things for sure, this release marks the debut of a singular and strange new voice in dance music, and we're confident that you can expect a fresh dose of SD's high grade material very soon.

On this first release of his newly created imprint, Southsoniks presents a very special track "Just Another Chord Song", extracted from his Live-Act and reworked with care in the studio. This atmosferic and strong techno track cut for the dancefloor is meant to absorb the crowd energy and grow on it as to transform the inherent warmth of its chords into food for the body and soul.
Hosting on the same project three excellent producers, who each have delivered a very special and unique interpretation of the original track, this EP offers something for everyone.
Oniris delivered a fantastic Vangelis-techno remix which is bound to touch any audience and was favored by Laurent Garnier who playlisted it on his PBB radio for months! The more you'll listen to it, the more it will grow on you!
Fabrice Lig, infamous producer from the F-Com era, with countless classic hits took a little detour from his usual sound to bring an amazing ravey remix with a huge dancefloor potential. The additionnal voice he added brings more tension and energy to this brilliant interpretation.
Last but not least, rising french producer MadBen took a straight dancefloor approach with great drumwork to present a very efficient remix, bound to bring people to shake it up! It's a no-brainer on any set you want to step up the intensity one notch.
An overall very complete and high quality project, impregnated with Southsoniks philosophy of music for body and soul.
