Alan Fitzpatrick debuts on Hotflush with an EP that reveals a new side to his craft, marking a departure from the uncompromising techno that has personified the celebrated artist's storied career to date.

The EP's original tracks draw on Fitzpatrick's extensive production experience yet fit seamlessly into the Hotflush catalogue, retaining a dancefloor sensibility as they explore a range of melodic territory. The title track's drama lies in its brazenly enchanted synth line, while B1, Vanishing, charts a deeper course, with a slow, percussive burn.

Recent Hotflush addition Auden contributes a remix that shapes the title track into an electro/IDM-indebted excursion.

"Entrance" is the inaugural release of Finitude Music, the label operated by long-time Tresor Berlin resident Marcel Heese. For this first release he teams up with Spanish producer P.E.A.R.L. who has been releasing on Warm Up, Audio Assault, Tsunami and more and also runs his own labels Lycaon and Falling Ethics. On remix duties is non other than legendary Berlin producer Sleeparchive known for his timeless releases on his label of the same name and Tresor Records.

"Aqua" is the second release of Finitude Music, the label operated by long-time Tresor Berlin resident Marcel Heese. The A-Side title is from the same recording session with Spanish producer P.E.A.R.L. like "Entrance" from Finitudes first release. This time the remix comes from Techno legend Karl O'Connor aka Regis who needs no further introduction. With his deep and hypnotic contribution he has truly outdone himself.

Obsession Recordings presents their second release - a killer split EP between Primitive World and Yør.

Primitive World's 'Purple Caps' opens proceedings - a PCP laced exercise in paranoia, a jerking filtered loop oscilates around a thumping kick and intermittent percussive bursts, while looming minor chords offer the only brief respite from the heavily swung and distorted bassline. 'Tides Of Lust'' 's protean techno ups the urgency with the phantom punch of its caustic toms, skittering percussion and low-res tones that ride the steady pulse of the 808 subs.

'Rites Of Passage Pts. 1& 2' see Yør delivering steady neo-equatorial rhythms - pt1. finds A constant throbbing bass and ritualistic percussion cut through w/ suggestive whispers and breaths that weave throughout as the track vibrates with intensity, capped off by a restrained acid line and rolling snares. Pt 2. rounds out the package with a cut both jacking and haunting in equal measure - just below the surface of the rolling 909 and post-detroit chords, are the rogue cry of the abstracted re rendered voices and whistling that swim through its duration.

It's been just over three years since Madato dropped his well received 'Portraits EP' on Items & Things and we're elated to have him back. This time he comes unabashed as he debuts his first true long player, 'Crafted', and with it he displays his true dexterity and expertise as a unique storyteller in a world saturated with mediocre attempts at originality.

From start to finish the album exudes a clever boldness which many artists seem to leave behind in pursuit of already proven methods resulting in forgettable artifacts. But not Madato. This is effortlessly apparent throughout 'Crafted' as techno, disco, rock and electronica freely intertwine components creating unique, dance floor gems. With a master stoke, Madato paints his silent canvas with an array of organic instruments and machines alike.
Tracks 'Last Virgin' and '17 Miles' exude a penchant for Rock'n'Roll and Dub aesthetics, effortlessly combining crunchy guitar riffs and low slung bass laid under blasts of spaced out echoes and super slick vocals.
Losing no focus, he creates other cuts leaning further into the realm of techno as heard in 'Oh Lover' and 'My Fellini'. In both, Madato constructs finely tuned, psychedelic burners by staying true to his sound through live instrumentation.
Out of all the individual concepts on the album, it's 'G-Boys' that seems to incorporate all them into one fluid piece. Freaky vocals and guitar licks meet four to the floor grooves and a quivering bassline creating a tune that is as much punk rock as it is house music. Aristotle once said, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" and that has never rang more true than it does with 'Crafted'.
Each individual piece stands alone on it's own merit and authenticity, but when grouped together into a package, it is a genuinely executed and incredibly cohesive vision come to life.

After a hiatus from the releasing scene, Highlive is back with a dark and clubby new three track emission; - You EP'. The compelling title track, a lightly tribalsitic and clear structured sound conception, calls you to the dance floor. A fantastic call out hook when it clocks midnight. *Christian Burkhardt* slightly re-enforces the tribal feel and adds a seductively obscure bass line to the initial sound composition. Both, the original and remix, version of the title track - You' are frisky, fresh and tomboyish in their own special way. Created in liaison with *Zustra* - Last Night' is a bitchy and deeply nasty club air. This composition keeps you stuck between the beginning and the end without ever a chance of escape. Not too mean nor too nice is what generates the addicitive pretention - Last Night' clearly fulfills.

We're proud to present the debut EP from Docteur Satan, a new project by I'm a Cliché's own Crackboy, aka Krikor. Docteur Satan's speciality resides in injecting a lethal dose of horror to the dancefloor through the lens of New Beat, Belgium's own slow burning and utterly decadent sound.

The label say "While the 'Kepler' planter is still investigated it's time to get some reports from the ongoing interplanetary mission. Remixing tracks is not an easy task and only solid cosmic craftsmanship would do the job. The ClekClekBoom orbital station has luckily found two special extra crew members for this tricky and delicate operation.

Planet A sector is covered by an already legend among electronic music producers, the man Fred P from NYC. His reshape of 'Change the Past' takes us to a nebulous journey filled with a multitude of sonic details and surrounded by some dreamy astral pads. Less dark than the original version, this slow jam keep an infectious rhythm steady all along and would be perfect for a rooftop session when the sun hit the sky.

The Planet B sector is occupied by an italian prodigy, the not-so new comer Chevel. Playing with the cryptic 'Change the Past' vocals, his mix turn the track into a minimal boogie affair toned down by subtle key chords and interstellar bleeps pulsating around heavy toms drums. The next exoplanet being at billions light years away, enjoy these two supernovas while waiting during the trip..."

Fine quality peak time techno rooted in the best Detroit traditions with a bit of that Berlin rawness. Tracks produced by Liit who recently made an excellent debut on the Lack label. Recommended!.

Starting out in 2001 as a mere compilation series to tie up some loose ends from our regulars, SPEICHER has since become a guarantee for vanguard dance sounds from all over the planet, allowing KOMPAKT to invite and support electronic artists that comfortably inhabit both the delicate and the more deliberate ends of the electronic music spectrum. For Speicher 72, both Berlin stalwart NICK HÖPPNER and polyrhythmic mastermind AUNTIE FLO present essential tracks fitted for maximum floor response.
OSTGUT TON label head and PANORAMA BAR resident DJ, NICK HÖPPNER is a well-known renaissance man, entrancing dance floors worldwide with impeccable taste and narrative verve. As a DJ and producer, he finds great artistic freedom in the classic four-on-the-floor layout while updating the blueprint with a serious longing for sonic adventure. IPSO FACTO - his KOMPAKT debut - perfectly showcases a different side to his standard fare, opting to taking a firm grip on the deeper shades of Techno. He balances industrial styles with more groove-inducing flavours and takes a rather restricted sound palette to impressive heights. It's what the tip of the iceberg might sound like, a not-so-subtle hint at a massive body hiding beneath sea level.
Brian D'Souza aka AUNTIE FLO hails from Glasgow, where he honed his craft as purveyor of rhythmic diversity. Influenced by Chicago House, Kwaito, advanced Pop and various Bass hybrids, he draws from an imposing amount of sound sources, but still manages to keep the flow focused and his message clear. On the heels of his debut full length on Huntley & Palmers which Resident Advisor proclaimed as 'dance floor dynamite 4/5', SUN RITUAL is a particularly fine example of Brian's magic, shaking and rattling incessantly while making its way to the centre of attention, an ever-rising hike to the top of the mountain dipped in light.
SUN RITUAL completes a trilogy that begins with the MULE MUSIQ release of AUNTIE FLO 'MELA/KISUMU' (out 28/11 - MULE MUSIQ 155). In his own words:

Los Angeles based Nomadico releases the first record on his own label Yaxteq. The music on this release sums up 10 years of work with Underground Resistance and sets the tone for what is to follow on Yaxteq.

"Resistance is not Futile" is an anthem for the do-it-yourself, grassroots philosophy that is the core of Nomadico as an artist. The lyrics state, "We will not be clones, we will not be assimilated" over a shuffling, grinding bassline. The song's moody atmosphere, simultaneously dark yet uplifting, provides the listener with the soundtrack to continue the resistance.

"Cabrakan" is a storming Techno funk track that builds and builds. Inspired by the otherworldly sounds of the Red Planet label, it's a roller coaster designed for peak time dancefloor destruction.

"Romero's Echo" builds around an almost industrial level bass synth driving its way towards a manic synth lead. The breakdown features a Spanish minister preaching about staying grounded amidst the challenges in life. The title is a tribute to the revered Archbishop Oscar Romero of El Salvador.

"After The Anger" is a direct descendant of the Underground Resistance school of aggressive Techno. It's distorted bass and funked up hi-hats move in and out while synth pads and percussion go along for the ride.

Alex Niggemann's AEON label mirrors the peak time DJs sets that the supremely talented Berliner plays, staying focused on conjuring up the spirit of classic and timeless house and techno, updating it and creating new boundless possibilities for the future. Since launching the label in 2013 Alex has been gradually building a family of like-minded creative individuals to keep the AEON ethos moving ever forward. The label's 17th release sees regular artist P. Lopez team up with fellow araguayan producer Octavio and deliver a glorious 5-track techno EP, including a stylish remix from the masterful Tobias. (Berghain / Life & Death).

A stone cold classic gets the Dense & Pika treatment.

Up and coming Belgium-born activist Philippe Petit, operator of the Knotweed and Decision Making Theory labels, returns to Figure SPC with a delightfully versatile four tracker. Spanning cold-wavesynth electronics, purist club techno and up-building melodic zones, its perhaps Petits strongest effort yet. Capturing a neo-classical, archaic mood in >Mist Solaris Negative Zone Suspended< closes the EP with a joyful, above the clouds journey, lifting up weightlessly into the ether.

For the second release on his young label, Code Is Law, Moerbeck has brought together four producers who all in different ways converge on the idea of 'Wolves'. Eomac demonstrates his exquisite sense for harmonies, Sawf spirals into the convolutions of your brain with his vocal track on 'System' and the newcomers Janzon and Hound Scales slip in their take on industrial sounds. Four tracks with emotional depth that create a powerful pressure on your chest that you can't evade. ... the wolves are coming.
The wolf as mystical creature, his idealisation as an isolated, artist of survival or his transcendence beyond the pack as collective structure all lend themselves to highly diverse interpretation. A snarling wolf in comic book style is emblazoned on the cover, provided by friends and fellow artists Drik the Villain (Death Graff) and Cop 81 (Death Graff). Moerbeck selected the four track titles himself which each embodying a unique standpoint from which to view the contribute and their own ways of seeing. It has turned out well for the label owner to unite these different artists, for they blend harmoniously into the over-arching theme of the release. Eomac, also half of the duo Lakker next to his solo project, demonstrates anew his equisite sense for harmonies and lays atop the dry drumming in 'Myth of Origins' a melodie that contributes to the track's pathos, without seeming overdone. For Stuttgart's Janzon this is his very first release. His track 'Run with the Pack' picks up the tempo and unleashes its force right out of the loop. Just like with the other tracks on this realease and with those on codeislaw001: this is techno for listening, with the greatest value placed on emotional depths and harmonies, all the while maintaining dance floor functionality. Sawf pumps in an endless loop and the Athenian drapes 'System' over his droney modulations like a mantra.
Hound Scales brings in industiral-esque sounds on 'Scent of Flesh'. The Brooklyn producer manages to create a track that generates an unsettling atmosphere, the exact origin of which remains concealed to the listener. You can only sense it ... the wolves are coming.

Oscar Mulero and Christian Wunsch have been making waves in the scene as their Spherical Coordinates project on the previous release on Tsunami which was sold out in no time. Now they return on Christians flagship with 2 banging solotracks and on top of that a track by Sleeparchive! Don't sleep on this as it will fly out the shops as usual.

David Mayer is back with a bang. You might remember his last productions as downright atmospheric and in touch with one or another nerdy fixation on detail, well, those new cuts point to the place where elation is boiled up, more than anything he did before. The A1, named Moment is still keeping it a bit low key. If youd actually translate this piece of music into a moment, itd look like the one Ridley Scott presented us in American Gangster. With Frank Lucas being placed in some wooden hut in the outback of the Golden Triangle, dealing the deal of his life, sharply calculating within a mind clouding climate. With fantasy, youll hear the jungles deepness and the vibrant heat beside the kickdrum. It is a percussive, hypnotic floor-monument, surely obsessed with detail, but above all keeping the balance between deep- and straightness.

A Sensible Alternative to Emotion' is the second full length album by the Spanish techno duo Exium. More than ten years in the business confirm them as one the fundamental combos of European techno. We have the pleasure of presenting a new step in sound design: ten tracks that show a new twist in their style, relaxing the frequencies and the tempos and departing from linear concepts. These offer a well balanced tracklist with ambient or near IDM experiments, dreamy or even melodic techno and their traditional obscure feeling.

After two fine EPs on Chiwax, Russian DJ and producer Dmitry Kovyazin aka Kovyazin D now makes his debut on the Dutch label MOS Deep

Following a couple of excellent EPs for Gold Panda's NOTOWN, pastoral electronica artist Luke Abbott has finally announced a follow-up to 2010's 'Holkham Drones' with second album 'Wysing Forest', due in June. Like his debut, the album will again see a release through James Holden's Border Community imprint.

The fourth release of the White flower belongs to Mental Resonance, the rising techno star of Argentina.

He already signed in the past with the dark part of the label.

This time he is back with a huge dance floor techno bomb in 'Translation' and another track more in his normal Detroit flavors style. 'Echoes from other Space'.

To end with it Mr. Craven signs the remix which tries to go deeper in the deepness and darkness concept of the original. An odyssey of more than 10 minutes that will make move more than one warehouse.

No doubt about it, HypeLTD are on a bit of a roll at the moment; recent releases from the likes of JoeFarr, The Analogue Cops and Marco Bernardi have helped shape the Hypercolour sub-label into a consistent purveyor of raw and rootsy techno music.

On the 'Split' EP, various artists are assembled to flex their prowess, namely Warlock, Zoé Zoe & Enoah Ballard and Samuel Thalmann.

Opening up the EP is Warlock, the driving force behind London's Rag & Bone label. This seasoned British breaks and electro producer offers up 'Sawhorses', a weighty 909 kick and incessant, filtering stabs give this an air of familiarity, Berlin in sound, Detroit in spirit perhaps, but a straight up club cut for certain. A proper jacker, and an ace reverse edit right on the end!

Lithuanian brothers, Zoé Zoe & Enoah Ballard, team up for the '1234'. Zoé Zoe has been behind previous releases on Planet Mu and Sneaker Social Club, and joins his sibling on this dark and ravey breakbeat driven track. The kind of cut that separates the wheat from the chaff come closing time at your local discothèque, '1234' is both eerie, cosmic and flat out deep all at once.

Closing this 'Split' EP is Samuel Thalmann AKA Okain, a man behind an incredible musical CV, including music for Tsuba, BPitch, Memento, Four:Twenty and many more. Samuel offers up 'Not Anymore' under his birth name, a blinding 909 drum workout with some freaky Chi-town modulations goin on. Almost like a perfect accompaniment to Warlock's 'Sawhorses', this is simple yet effective dance track that'll have 'em jackin and pumping their fists til dawn.

goes down as a bleeping submarine, deep diving into underwater caves where a slow and hypnotic rhythm reverberates through
ears and mind. Second cut 'Alchemy' continues the interdimensional explorations, and after long intro, it gradually detaches
from the surface reaching a leaden sky. Drums and claps alternates on a soundscape of constant roars, holding the track in a
steady mesmerizing jingle. The B-side opens with 'Found Myself', edgy broken beat with a stronger and more club-oriented

'Frozen Souls' opens proceedings with the textural pads and kick drum creating their own static before being lifted into pastoral melodies and soundscapes. Colourful keys and bleeps intertwine in space, to the world of the frozen souls, subtle, powerful and beautiful.

'Heretic' heads straight for the dancefloor with distorted drums and rugged wild baseline that mutates and flips with modulation before the arpeggio fuelled melody oozes through with glacial qualities to chill with extreme precision.

'Frozen Souls' then gets the remix treatment from Ontal. The original is stripped back in true Ontal style, the drums are a heavy distorted techno workout, with dynamic use of the melodies to give the characteristics of Eomac's original. A powerful heads down remix from Serbia's finest.

'Charon' is a broken distorted beast that shows Eomac's love of early Warp Records and IDM. It has all the power of his techno but totally flipped into a more experimental realm. The twisted rhythms and mechanical noise textures grind and bang like a broken machine, while the pads and textures create an ethereal feel and harmonic cloud to float away on...

An easy mission for Mr. Hawkinson on Phunkit: to send you on ananalog journey through deep stomping, chordal Techno grounds and burn downyour floors! Hawkinson delivers with his Draisen EP two varied, atmospherically denseoriginals between warm Techno and melancholic Acid charme. While Mike Wallpushes Draisen into even deeper Techno soundscape, Steinmüller'sfloating yet driven version of Restruct completes the four tracker to awonderful, spheric and powerful package.

Interesting little label COS_MOS follows up an EP from Clendon Toblerone with a new one by Italian duo Life's Track. Previously the pair have released together the Bosconi label and always favour a raw, analogue house sound that is physical as well as emotive.
The first track here is 'Stone', a hurried house jam with raw and splintered hi hats racing over broken sounding drums as urgent synth stabs fill in the spaces left behind. It's live sounding and loose, ghetto in texture and truly arresting in nature. The b-side starts with 'Velocity', another over-driven bit of house with non-stop claps chattering over slower, purposeful kick drums deep down below. Nagging synths slowly shape shift and draw you attention away from the physical percussion, making for a nice duality to the track. Where To Now records are proud to present Beatrice Dillon's follow up release to the widely well received 'Blues Dances'. This three track 12' sees Beatrice step things up a gear in terms of intricacy, experimenting wildly to add to her already astute palette of timbre and rhythm.'Face A' leads the record with the unmistakable skronk of saxophone cutting and jamming over the skeletal pulse of Beatrice's signature dubbed out techno landscape. Initially the inclusion of saxophone acts as an aural abstraction or diversion to extract a little freedom from the pumping cavern of dark dub techno atmosphere punctuated with the mechanical juddering saw-bass, but as the piece develops and we become deep into the groove the inclusion of wild sax snorts trips us up and become the focus itself as new levels of complex melodic and rhythmic detail become apparent within this otherwise structurally obedient space.Taking it's cues from Rabih Beaini, Miles Davis 'Big Fun' era, Dresvn and Keith Hudson, undoubtably 'Face A' is a compelling, complex trip... heads down but arms flailing.
'Face B' continues the theme but takes the listener far deeper into the cavern. Here the concern is more the effects of space within song, a moment where Beatrice allows herself to move away from the floor to find a little more room for playful experimentation. The saxophone is further treated with a plethora of effects to compliment the array of dub signals that scatter and skip around the basin. The record closes with 'Sonnier (Walk in the light)' which strangely somehow manages to feel jazzier in its components, even in comparison to a pair of tracks riffing on a manipulated free-jazz sax part. It sounds strangely unsure of its world, adding to this whole loosely slung, loping feel which somehow fits amongst the stern, brooding, and efficient synth play. Beatrice masterfully manages to create a piece here that grows in intensity without ever increasing in pace or texture, every drop is intended to stir the listener a little more than the last. There's a sense throughout all the pieces of having rhythm imposed or even inflicted upon the listener but this is certainly not a conflict of ideas... there is optimism, harmony and above all - wild groove nestled within Beatrice's world of mutant shuffle.
Beatrice Dillon has previously released works for Where To Now Records, The Trilogy Tapes, and The Vinyl Factory. Beatrice collaborated live with Kassem Mosse at Tate Liverpool earlier this year and has shared stages globally with artists such as Rezzett, M.E.S.H, J.G Biberkopf, Call Super, Some Truths and Mark Fell. She also hosts a monthly show for NTS Radio, has produced mixes for Rinse FM, Blowing Up The Workshop and Truants, amongst others.

For it's 16th (!!!) release, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams continues to bolster it's local infantry with fresh, new blood, this time with the addition of a young but well-seasoned individual hailing from the hinterland of greater Glasgow and going by the name of Big Miz. If you happen to live within an 8 mile radius of a Blue Lagoon, the chances are you will have already been acquainted with the bold Miz, most likely through the longstanding and legendary clubnight/crew he's a resident & founding member of: Offbeat. The length & breadth of Offbeat's tastes also reflects his flexibility as a producer. Tracks presented here, such as 'Good Thing' strike a fine balance between good ol' Motor City funk and Chi-Town oddities such as Vincent Floyd's more obscure cuts on D.M, while the velocity increasing 'Solange' comes like the result of a three-day Theo studio session fuelled by bad speed. His talent for catering to the dance has clearly paid dividends when it comes to his productions, with the nuance and instinctive touch he presents us with on his debut DABJ 12' clearly marking him from the start line as an already formidable & stand-out force in the heady and increasingly cramped world of house & techno.

Shelby ! At the age of 12 he was already moving in the right circles, befriending Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy whilst frequenting the famous Warehouse. His upbringing in Chicago in the 70s and 80s meant that he was exposed to a range of genres and different styles of music including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Curtis Mayfield and David Huff. These same names would prove to be the roots of his influences.
This projet includes two classic and timeless moments of Chicago house & techno music.
On A side : 'K' Alexi's Vertigo', a massive, rare and very demand Acid track from K-Alexi. Released in 1989 on legendary Transmat

More straight to the point, 'Consequence' works a driving, rubbery groove that comes alive with jacking snare patterns and reduced, highly effective breaks. Hessler then continues to explore his apparent love for sinister synth lines on 'Perception', a classic late-night techno piece with its roots firmly in the German rave scene. Elegantly programmed drums lift the tension and recede into the shadows in another highlight of this versatile and musical EP.
Finally in display of his true understanding and love for Detroit Techno, 'Distance' eases us down and takes us out into the calm light of the morning. A beautiful, classically-leaning piece of magical synth music.

Adam X was very much deep in it in '92: 23 years in the record-releasing game and counting to be exact. Could be longer, as that's just going by his discography. Founder of Sonic Groove, also known as Traversable Wormhole & AMDX-71. It's enough to know that the man is still seriously killing it, and this is absolutely no exception: acidic, metallic, raw and driving Techno for the true heads.

Bryan Black is back on CLR with a new BLACK ASTEROID EP, this time in close collaboration with vocalist Wesley Eisold of the band COLD CAVE on the featured songs entitled 'Black Moon' and 'Here Comes Fear". Both of them are excellent examples for a successful and tasteful crossing of genre-borders, a rare mixture of timeless song writing and cutting edge Techno. The haunting voice of COLD CAVE adds a warm and soulful feeling to the carefully crafted beats and atmospheres of studio wizard Bryan Black aka BLACK ASTEROID and it all results in highly entertaining electronic music with seriousness and depth. The third track on the EP is for all those who have learned to appreciate BLACK ASTEROID´s flawless blend of uncompromising Techno. 'Freeze' is another milestone production, a manifestation of the outstanding skills of this experienced sound designer who started his career as the engineer of Prince and who later formed the critically acclaimed duo MOTOR. The final mix-downs were done together with Chris Liebing at his state of the art studio in Frankfurt, guaranteeing the same sonic brilliance we are used to from all recent CLR releases. With the present EP, Bryan Black, the man who toured and recorded with bands like Depeche Mode and Nitzer Ebb sums up his personal history by bringing a feeling from the past back into contemporary music. Always paying respect to his Industrial and Rock roots, BLACK ASTEROID keeps sticking out in the current Techno scene and has once more proved his mastery as an electronic musician and innovative producer.

Egbert has been dazzling us with the speed at which he seems to have skyrocketed to being one of the world's top players in the techno scene. Within a short period of time he has managed to create a rapidly growing fan base who have all been avidly waiting for him to release an album for some time now. Come end of October, Egbert will finally be releasing 'Warm' on Secret Cinema's Gem Records! His story has been an exciting rollercoaster ride going from being discovered by Secret Cinema through Myspace, to being picked up by Cocoon and their booking agency and now touring the globe as a part of the Gem and Bonheur agency roster. September 20th, Egbert will be playing a sold out, astonishing 6 hour solo live set in Melkweg Amsterdam to kick off his album promotion tour. The album takes you on a trip through Egbert's vision of melodic techno. Well produced and euphoric but without stepping in to known territory. In his own words: 'One thing I often miss at techno parties is warmth. I would like to bring that back to techno'. While his live sets are usually filled with percussion and rhythm, this album compiles the tracks that bring warmth to his set. We also get a taste of Egbert's raw side with the powerful pumping grooves and punishing dark basslines on 'Tegno' and 'Shulgin'. There's even a new flavour added to the versatile producer's palate with the trippy ambient sounds of 'Ondergronds' and 'Trip'.

The A side is home to her two original productions: "Apache," a waterlogged, wind-blown journey through arcane, genre-bending techno, and "Modus," a more direct outing with an acid line that could take the paint off your mother's car. Two sweltering reinterpretations of "Apache," one by Brooklyn tunesmith Ital and another by fellow Fifth Waller Matrixxman, populate the B side.

We have got together some of our favourite artists of the past few years for this milestone. The original is delivered by none other than Bas Mooy. King of the Echo Echo is exactly that and as such there are some beautiful and subtle use of the echo it is simple yet such an elegant piece of Techno.

London-born DJ/producer Braiden returns after a two year silence, inaugurating his new label Off Out.

Since debuting on Joy Orbison's Doldrums in 2010, the RBMA alumnus has gone on to remix the likes of Jacques Greene and SBTRKT, hold covetable radio slots at both RinseFM and NTS, with influential Dutch-imprint Rush Hour issuing his well received Belfry Tower/Paganini 12" in 2012.

After a change of location last year, the Berlin transplant has decided the time is right to establish his own outlet and does so with Apex of the Sun's Way / Solar Poise. Having always cited a desire to balance "groove and rhythm and a strong atmosphere," he succeeds here with his own take on dancefloor music; crisp drums cutting through swathes of saturated synths and gauzy textures.

Apex of the Sun's Way / Solar Poise will be available on 12" vinyl with artwork by Braiden via Off Out.

Recorded in Maryland in 1975 and intended to be listened to while high, this is a high point (pun semi-unintended) of outsider/stoner/idiot-savant musique concrete.

Gynoid Audio, one of the few female labels around, started her course in
2010. She's now one of the most prolific labels when it comes to a variety
of functional Techno, with focus on drive, mood, dirt and depth. The
amount of well-established veterans (both old and new) who released or
remixed for the label, or newcomers who saw their career start on Gynoid,
is impressive. It also describes why its one of the most charted labels in
it's field of operation.

To celebrate the mains series 100th release and the continuance of the
label we decided to preset a massive V.A. compilation spanning over three
releases. Here is the limited blue vinyl of the third and final volume
from the Gynoid Audio 100 trilogy, featuring brand new tracks by Mark
Broom, Myk Derill, Ground Loop, Pjotr G & Dubiosity.

Following on from the well received various artists series 'From the Lab to the Club', MindTrip 09 sees the return of label boss, Pfirter, with 4 brand new tracks, which encapsulate MindTrip's musical philosophy perfectly. The sonic soundscape of 'Otras Dimensiones' opens proceedings, layering dark and ambient textures. Tension builds throughout the track and really sets the mood for this record. Anticipation is finally rewarded by the opening bars of 'Message 1'. The apparently laid back, dark bassline gives rise to high frequency colour which serves to make this track a building cauldron of devilry, which is unrelenting in its pursuit of evil. This is Pfirter at his brilliant best and demonstrates his inimitable style flawlessly. The flip side of the EP picks up where the A side left off and opens with 'Technalog'. The dancefloor sounds of this eerie track are perfect for the dankest and grimiest of settings. The final track, 'Casus Belli' is a driving statement of refusal to compromise. A powerful, dancefloor techno track whose rich analogue sounds blend together deep, fascinating layers and textures, hypnotising the listener as it ebbs and flows. This is MindTrip!

In ferner Zeit einem Frankfurter Kult-Club nach langjähriger Residency den Rücken gekehrt, verschlossen sie sich beinahe die letzten drei Jahre im schönsten Party-Hotel Deutschlands, dem wohl legendären Club Digital - gemeinsam mit Anhängern ihres minimalistisch verspulten Sound, dem sie entgegen vielen anderen treu geblieben sind.

Eine CD-Compilation für den Club, die noch in diesem Jahr auf Audiothentica erscheinen soll, ist der Grund dafür, das die beiden Herren sich für die mittlerweile fünfte Veröffentlichung auf dem lebendigen Label verantwortlich zeichnen.

The long awaited MS 08 is a split E.P between techno-rave unit Minimum Syndicat and The Kosmik Kommando, aka Mike Dred
(Rephlex, R&S, Machine Codes), one of the true creators of acid techno, once called the Jimi Hendrix of the TB-303, and partner of Richard D. James within the legendary Universal Indicator project.No beardy hipster techno, no bullshits, just pure analog strobe-Jams from the vault of rave.

A collaboration between Elias Landberg and Nihad Tule. They started this conceptual project in November 2014 with the goal of record and master a complete EP in one day. The resulting analog jams are pretty different from each other. The A-side ''Terrorfish'' is reminiscent of simplistic acid rave tunes from the 90's while the B-side ''Halcyon'' is a dreamy ambient trip.

Over the past two decades, French producer and live performer, Terence Fixmer, has continued to evolve as an artist while maintaining his influential stance in international techno culture. With his last solo album, Comedy of Menace, already five years behind us, his continuous evolution has led him to produce his most introspective album yet. With this 10-piece composition Fixmer is able to tell a story from start to finish, with powerful, deep, dark, pulsating tones that are essential to his musical approach. Depth Charged is a complete concept as Fixmer's track arrangement takes the audience through various emotions illustrating how there is more to darkness than the dance floor. Beginning with a slow but heavy bassline, 'Ellipse' acts as a perfect introduction setting the attitude for the album. 'Fleeting Beauty' brings us fluttering chords amidst a serpentine drone, while the rolling bass of 'Unforeseen' sends you into a trancelike state. 'Purity' distracts the listener with its raw analog warmth filled with extraterrestrial energy. 'Inside of Me,' exclusively selected by Marcel Dettmann for his Fabric 77 mix, followed by 'Outside of Me' are both very dark tracks, filled with atmospheric suspense and quaking rhythms. 'Beyond' is a pure exemplary of Fixmer's signature style with an infectious progression sending anyone to the dance floor as 'Pallid Light' follows its footsteps filling a bit more radiance into a modern techno sound. The Index expands into its fourth chapter with a rich collection of tracks from key label artists Marcel Fengler, Thomas Hessler, Echoplex and VRIL.
Label co-ordinator Marcel Fengler drops 'Scion' on the A1, a non-typical, deeper House-influenced jam with a floating, mind-melting soft-focus. Abstract, crafty Techno meets classic Sunday-afternoon vibes in this unique offering.
After his wonderful 4-tracker on IMF003 promising talent Thomas Hessler continues his run with the melodic and stark journey track, 'The Escaper'. What is initially shrouded in mystery and melancholy soon opens up into a funky, US vs. UK-styled workout, snapping snares and reduced percussion driving the meandering synth theme.
Echoplex, who graced IMF002, also returns with a suitably trippy and percussive number, entitled 'The Relapse'. Building into a bleepy, freaky, acidic killer, complete with some cleverly deployed rave-vocal samples, filtering in and out of the fluffy aesthetic, the long-serving Polish master is still on top form.
Going for impact and stand-out sound design, VRIL offers 'Thronwagen' - a mesmerising arrangement of synth layers, classic Techno stabs and overlapping themes. Already well-known for his powerful drums and bottom end control, this more musical piece goes a long way to showcase some of the German producer's many other talents.

The EP is called Spotlight Diktat in reference to the feeling some DJs have when they are on tour.

A kind of DJ melancholia generated by airplanes, dehumanized hotels, waiting hours in boring terminals, basically traveling alone..

I made these tracks out of this mood. At first they sounds like the typical groovy dance tracks, but when the melody comes out, you immediately feel there is something wrong... now the track is on and you still dance (of course it's made for that) but you could almost cry to it too.

So this is what happens when a DJ or a producer has to do their job, but they aren't really in the mood for it. When the party comes, they just forget everything and make the show happen regardless. They have to bear the spotlight diktat and keep on entertaining people regardless of what they have in mind.

For their third release, Jaunt> Records returns to the guiding hand of its founders, Blackhall & Bookless. The label has made a well documented great start to life - and JR003 continues in a similarly enchanting vein. Getting us underway on the Differences EP is 'Straightener'. A techno bomb with lashings of low end bass frequencies, it saunters about with an uncompromising swagger that'll tear up the dancefloor. Next up we have the title track, a nifty creation that makes smart use of some clever drum work, a series of melodic charms and a whiff of airy pads. The first of the remixes comes from Berlin's very own Mike Dehnert. The first of his two remixes of 'Differences' is full of bite, a fact that's mainly attributable to the simmering snares and the snaking baseline that he injects the original with. His other remix, meanwhile, is a taut and heavy affair, but one that's also full of vigour. Lastly, we have the sound of another Jaunt> boss, Chad, who delivers a cracking remix of 'Straightener'. Full of beguiling synths and a real sense of menace, it's a fitting tribute to the original at the very least. This is another top class EP from a label that seems to be making a welcome habit of serving up such quality.

Tempo is a decisive factor in how we relate to music. Whole genre separations and notions of taste can revolve around the BPM at which samples are triggered or musicians play. In live music BPM is obviously often a fluctuating quantity, a loose constrict affected by the musicians' spirits / audience / etc. Electronic music genres are usually more rigid in their adoption of a tempo and the BPM often comes to define a scene's aesthetic. NMO have used this release to play with the really quite hefty and serious concept of speed (& slowness), timing, and BPM. 'Natalia Martínez Ordóñez' is a studio recording of an outdoor piece commissioned by CO² Festival in Beirut in 2014, where the initial idea of a one hour piece has been condensed in a 30 minute record. The piece has been performed in Beirut, Krakow, and London.

The sections are divided by pace, with the record opening at 60bpm and ending at 150bpm, where each section is introduced with a humble metronome and clearly separated by test signal-esque tones. The instrumentation is affectingly sparse, limited to electronic effects and that most basic unit of rhythmic interval, the snare drum. The sounds naturally increase in intensity as they are played faster, the electronics appear more manic and the effects gradually build to begin to create shifting sub-rhythms and hypnotic textures, resulting in a musical form that N.M.O themselves have termed 'As Strict As Possible'. The overall tonality of the piece appears to be continuously shifting up in pitch, although whether this is intentional, accidental or intentionally accidental is intriguingly unclear. Played live the sections are delineated by the release of RGB coloured smoke grenades and flares, here represented by swathes of white noise, hissing away throughout the end of each fragment, perhaps signalling a climax or release from the rigidness and precision of each 3 minute experiment.

The second side begins at the pace of a respectable techno track's pulse, but the triplet feel adds an atypical dazed lurch to the opening. Where the A side of the record feels sharp, precise, and spaced out, the B side sweeps us directly onto the weirder side of the dance floor - the drum kit becomes more fleshed out as a joyous climax of pounding, rolling percussion joins revving synths and swells of static. Without realising suddenly you find yourself deep into a groove and here you can't help but think of those ships where people row to the hammering drum but are driven to a dizzying level of insect like efficiency. By the end we have reached some sort of avant-acid approximation, frantic and intense in its delivery, towards a point so disassociated from our point of departure it feels connected only by those subtle shifts in speed that each act as a step to the piece's next level.

Having previously released records on Anòmia and The Death of Rave records, N.M.O. also have a forthcoming double 12' on Diagonal records, and a split 12' with EVOL on Le Petit Mignon.

This first pressing of 'Natalia Martínez Ordóñez' is limited to 300 copies with beautifully hand silk screen printed sleeves by The Positive Press, London.

Petwo Evans return with another stonking release! This time around, they've went pretty melodic on us - not that we're complaining.. Something for everyone here with a belting peak time title track - first heard on the most recent Auntie Flo Boiler Room - alongside some really beautiful moments; which you may have heard opening our Truants and Electronic Exploration mixes in recent times, to form one of our most unusually brilliant releases yet.

Berlin's Redshape has been releasing records for nearly a decade and in that time has amassed an accomplished discography on labels such as Styrax, Delsin, Leaves, R&S, Running Back and his own imprint Present which have cemented his name the amongst the greats of underground techno.
Nonplus are proud to release 'Feel Like Riot' and 'The Rift', staying in the vein of his sci fi laden Detroit techno style that continues to evolve but stay true to his unmistakable Redshape sound.

Scuba Death is Ricardo Donoso's alter ego. With more of a focus on analog sound, percussion, sampling, and location recordings, there is an organic undercurrent on Scuba Death recordings that isn't as prevalent in his solo work. This music is rich in atmosphere while still tethered to the deeper ideas that Donoso often explores in his work. Treatises on fear and death­anxiety, the underlining thematic framework for the project, run rampant throughout these claustrophobic electronic passages, and teeter on the edge of being oppressive. Nitrogen Narcosis marks the first full length and strongest statement in the Scuba Death repertoire after the privately issued, ruthless 'Demon Seed' twelve inch back in 2011. The album alternates between surprising lethargic dance inflections all nestled between 75 & 100 bpm, the normal resting heart rate for adults, and the more conceptual, numbness­inducing pieces like '50­-70 Meters' and 'Nociception.' Sequencing plays an integral role on Nitrogen Narcosis as the listener is suddenly thrust into the darkest reaches of the ocean after dark alley grooves are sucked into an aquatic abyss. For a project named after Donoso's near­drowning experience in the South Atlantic when he was younger, there's an impressive amount of reflection & vulnerability present - the field recordings that permeate throughout the album were captured at the same location the undertow caught hold of him that bright Summer day 20 years prior. An inner battle between paranoia and euphoria is played out in well­conceived, precision sonics on Nitrogen Narcosis as Donoso reminds us to look back, break through the surface and go deeper.

Phantasy are proud to present a remix of Ghost Culture's 'Guidecca'. A stretched rework from Factory Floor's Gabe Gurnsey, transforming the original into a glitchy progression of post-industrial tech house, complete with chopped vocal edits and hypnotic synth lines. Limited to a few one-sided 12s.

And here we are, just as promised, exploring the dark corners of Nick Lapien; the man otherwise known as Metropolis. This time around, he comes back with a pair of extended cuts that veer off into heretofore unexplored terrain, relishing in detail with a sharp focus on momentum and lyricism. 'Glow', the A side, uses a basic 2-note sine wave bass line and a 136 BPM kick as the backdrop for a 13+ minute descent into a thicket of static and clattering modular craftiness—a pathway into the unknown through auditory hypnosis. On the flip side, 'Rebuild', a milder 4/4 beauty, uses a soft bass riff for its duration as shuffling synth experimentation stretches the stereo field. A long trumpet solo by Mark Nieuwenhuis casts a soothing, mournful light into the piece. Immerse yourself into the sounds and let yourself be guided, let yourself be found.

There's been many tributes to the sorely missed Richard Polson since he passed away 7 years ago but maybe this release beats them all - a fully re-mastered and substantially beefed up re-release of Outline's 'First Contact' and 'Encounter' from the 1st and 3rd respective Blueprint EPs first recorded in autumn 1995. A co-production all the way with James Ruskin, they've been extensively road-tested in his live sets of recent. The early Outline titles had a really intense purity and helped pave the path for the golden age of British techno so watch out for more re-boots from this new Blueprint sub-series - essential stuff

A man of many talents Skream makes a welcomed debut on the mighty Crosstown Rebels with the epic 'Still Lemonade' including a remix from the stupendous Redshape.

A masterpiece for the peak time dancefloor 'Still Lemonade' sees melodic and emotive synth lines flow over rolling percussions with a powerful breakdown and build destined to make the crowd erupt. Over on the flip Redshape adds a grumble in the bassline, playing with the track for an intricate and subtle build but keeping in line with the original it soon progresses into a high intensity dance floor bomb. A fantastic double header of a release and destined for big things!

Londoner Oliver Jones aka Skream is off to a flying start in 2015, working on his Crosstown LP, curating his own nights at XOYO for three months on a weekly basis and continuing his popular Radio 1 show where he covers everything from disco to techno. Starting out as one of dubstep's first most prominent and prolific producers he then went on to achieve commercial success and critical acclaim with Magnetic Man alongside Artwork and Benga reaching no.5 in the UK Album Chart and reaching no.10 in the UK Singles Chart.

Berlin resident, Redshape is a man of mysterious identity wearing a red mask for all of his shows. His impressive live act has seen him play at the likes of DC10 and Panorama Bar and releases can be found on Delsin, Music Man, Running Back and Styrax Leaves.

Born in Rome at the end of 80's, Stefano Rocchi grows up
listening music with the influence of his brother, Riccardo
Rocchi (DJ too in the 90's and now Professional Guitarist).
He starts working on music like a game, beatboxing' with his
friend Sirio Gry J.

His studies in Mats leads him to learn more and more in
Sound Design and Hardware structures, as sound
engineering.

His music culture through Techno, Detroit style, Chicago
House, as well as Minimal rhythm and Rock atmosphere
guided him into this Contrasto Ep.

Recently back from a season in Spain, he had the possibility to create releases on Love Blast,
Ephedrina, Stato Elettrico and Stencil Recordings. He played in clubs like Rashomon, Circolo deli
Illuminati, Magazzino33, Muzak, Bilbliotechina, Trecentosessantagradi and Animal Social Club in Rome,
plus Russian Bar (London) and Macarena Club (Barcelona). Actually he is going to grow up in the
European scene both for the production and performance areas. He also has recently joined Black Sam
Records family, and pressed his first vinyl on Love Blast, "Contatto".

The much loved, slightly mysterious but always firing R-Zone series rolls on to its 12th release here. This time the Dutch collective serves up five searing club tracks that are as raw and energetic as ever and look back to a 90s UK heyday for their inspiration. First up is 'Beginning of Life', with old school loon bird calls, lots of rave intentions and nebulous pads all creating a sweaty atmosphere atop rough hewn drums. 'Hardcore Track' is a frenzied cut with pixelated melodies, chopped up vocals and machine gun like drums that pull in many directions at once. '321' then has classic pitch shifted hardcore vocals, rinsing, dusty old break beats and cantering bass, then 'Red Rave #1' is all whacked out and tinny, with skeleton drums jostling next to vocal stabs and dark and ominous spoken word snippets and 'Red Rave #2' gets all jungle by going deep on some rolling, shuffling drums and rich, rubbery bass. Lanthan.audio, the newest label from Christian Gerlach, will release it's debut EP as a special edition this July featuring an original mix from UK's Edit-Select and spotlights remixes from two hypnotic troopers, Claudio PRC and Mike Parker. Lanthan, literally, is a rare earth metal in addition to something hidden or evasive in terms of Greek mythology. By combining music with both architecture and photography the goal is to not lose sight of all three art forms. Born out of the desire to deliver a diverse package, the label will feature innovative, indestructible, and powerful remixes from some of his most respected producers.
