Nomadico returns and unleashes Yaxteq on UR with four unique tracks that work together to express his nomadic style of Techno. The release starts with The Singularity, an analog bass driven track with dark atmospherics and acid elements that can only truly be appreciated in a dark sweaty club at 5am. Next up is Rooted, a a DJ's secret weapon that bridges jacking the house tracks and stripped down Techno with its filtered claps, modulating synths and rumbling sub-bass. The B-side features Yaxche, which is grounded by thick, swinging drums and a melodic bass line. It then patiently adds on layers of synths, subtle strings and an ethereal vocal courtesy of Naheedence. The closer, New Baktun is a slower, bass heavy, dub influenced track with arpeggiated synths and a polyrhythmic twist.

Second release of The Wild Division Records signed by Duster Traum (White Rose) on his second release and remixed by Miki Craven and Spear. A1 is the original track Straight to hell signed by Duster Traum with a nice simple and minimal bass line and some hypnotic Detroit sounds the reminds some of the Markus Suckut productions. In A2 We find Miki Craven with a dark remix. Powerful production with huge space reverbs effects, nice stereo image The track seems t start with some trance sound on it that becomes completely techno as soon as the kick comes in. B side is where Spear blows the release with his banging remix. Powerful snares and nice subs on it. Banging!

Extra digital 2 bonus remixes, first by Miki Craven with a nice hypnotic dmx with two different parts on the track, one that is creating the tension and a second one where a pad appears on it and we find a very nice 303 acid sequence with a mental pad on it. Second alternative version signed by Spear with a rework of his first remix where he change the 4x4 for a broken rhythm and a mental pad at the release that drives the remix into something more mental and hypnotic but where still the characteristic snares of his other remix on it.

Kanzler & Wischnewski are known as solid techno producers. With their new release on WAAP this is not so shure anymore.
"Keep on Dancing" is much more of a housetrack than the former releases, nevertheless groovy and something for a saturday nite
dancefloor, including the remixes. Mike Wall`s interpretation is a prime time techno style track, where as Michel Lauriola from
Buenos Aires gives it a souther feel. Last and definitely the least is the Berlin style Klangwelt 3000 Remix which is simply a great tune!

Back in the early 2000´s Colin de la Plante developed a very unique language as producer, which he has constantly continued, perfected and varied until today. No matter if THE MOLE´s productions made a move towards Techno, Minimal House or Deep House: his great love for Disco Music always shines through in a very distinctive way, sometimes very obvious, sometimes hidden in the background.

The 2 tracks that will be released on SLICES OF LIFE presents THE MOLE´s hypnotic and amazing paranoid Disco side. In "Hang In There Fry Guy" a female voice from far away whispers above percussions, synth lines and a massive beat, that leaves no open questions behind.
"Now I understand" Is the logical follower of the A-Side and appears way more tidied up and reduced, but never less massive and fascinating. "Now I understand" opens rooms, where the short vocal samples seems to be floating. They soak you in and wouldn´t let you out before the last tone is finished.

Kondaktor, the Athenian producer who made his debut last year at Further Records, releases music for the sixth Modal Analysis record. Signal EP includes two original tracks Signal #1 and Signal #2 which were created through the manipulation of field recordings, that are structured as a collage of sounds delivering a deep and claustrophobic sensation. On the other side of the record, Sawf and ANFS construct two versions of the tracks taking a more industrial and rhythmic approach to the existing works.

More than 2 years after his last release on tanzbar, Patrick strikes back with a massive collaboration EP, this time with a bigly help of his friends. Produced in different countries and different studios, this EP features Zigon's typical high-class production skills paired with influences of top-producers such as Martin Eyerer, Todd Bodine, Louis Osbourne, Mark Ash and the two newcomers Niko Doreen & Lupen Crokan.

Alex Deamonds is back with the 3rd instalment of the East London Club Trax series, this time with a double A sided 12". Mixed in the Ironlungs Lair.

San Francisco's ICEE HOT crew is getting ready to celebrate four years of existence, and part of that effort includes a new release, the debut 12" from San Francisco producer Avalon Emerson.

Emerson has been cobbling together tunes for a couple of years now, but once the ICEE HOT gang heard "Pressure," it was readily apparent that her production skills had taken a serious leap. The track is a brash piece of techno, one colored by distorted beats, a twisted diva vocal, and menacing rave synths. "Quoi!" takes a slightly more relaxed approach, combining crunchy rhythms and "out there" vocal bits with spacey vibes that recall The Orb.

On the flipside, German duo Tuff City Kids (a.k.a Lauer and Running Back label headn Gerd Janson) has been enlisted for two separate "Quoi!" remixes. The "Clean Shave Mix" is a slow­burning slice of disco­tinged dance music that crests and builds while bringing just a hint of acid into the mix. The "Rusty Blade Mix" takes a tougher approach, boosting both the tempo and the distortion while harkening back to the dark side of '90s warehouse sounds...

The story begins somewhere far away from awareness and rational thought. Our main characters plays the roles of lost but not aimless arrows of pictures. Pictures made out of sub atomic movements, amplified through breathable air and finally fragmenting its energy into space. We see the the sun go down in the ocean, the purple and red colors and finally the majestic sight of whales plowing the water in the horizon. It has been many years, in fact, so many years that we are now back again to the same point time. It is like an infinite loop, never loosing pace and determination.

Our characters is gathering on the beach, trying to find a place to rest but gets sucked right back in to a machine and then gets spit out again. The machine is a box, standing right in the sand, tirelessly pushing and pulling molecules back and forth. Our characters tries to withstand the pressure, making small rallies in different directions, like stupid soldiers without guns. Later, moon shows up with its happy smile. The war goes on. No prisoners taken. Suddenly, somebody points to the sky. Dawn arrives and the beach becomes calm for a while. It's epic.

Neil Landstrumm unleashes his tenth album.
Dragon Under marks the Scottish trailblazer's first LP since 2009's Bambaataa Eats His Breakfast on Planet Mu, and follows a series of EPs for labels like Killekill, Brothers and Don't.

This one will come through Sneaker Social Club, Hypercolour's slightly more experimental arm, and it'll be the first full-length on the imprint.

Landstrumm—whose career has jumped from techno to hip-hop and dubstep since 1995, creating a style he once christened "wonky techno"—reportedly makes a "return to his techno and electro club styles" on Dragon Under, also meshing together dub, grime and other bass music styles.

The lengthy record features 16 tracks, including collaborations with Killekill's Bill Youngman and rapper Profisee.

First ever Kling Klong collaboration of co-chief Rainer Weichhold with his Italian mate Nick Olivetti. After securing releases on Monique Music, Younan Records and of course their remix for Lana Del Rey it was a logical step to release an EP on the mothership.

And we are very happy about the great remixes from Amsterdam's first lady of techno Shinedoe and Rejected artist Maher Daniel from Montreal.

Sometimes we get handed a demo from a totally unknown producer that instantly blows us away. That's what happened when Dars' brother send us the link to 'All Is Tainted' last year. Long-standing UK techno label Surface Records are proud to announce the follow-up to the highly acclaimed Terrence Dixon EP 'Lost At Sea'. Released to high acclaim in the late spring of 2013, the EP garnered huge support throughout both techno and house scenes, attaining single of the month in several publications.

The 15-track Badge of Honor takes it one step further, pushing the envelope of techno with quirky, Detroit-infused abstractions that only the masterful Dixon (once dubbed the Aphex Twin of Detroit techno) could conjure up. Far removed from his Population One moniker, this is Terrence Dixon's fourth LP in an illustrious 20-year career.

Spanning a slew of prominent labels such as Metroplex, Tresor, Utensil, Yore and Dixon's recently launched Reduction label, with releases forthcoming from such legends as Juan Atkins and Claude Young, Dixon and Surface are a match made in heaven for the purists out there - while touching on the bass-heavy sound that was utilised to such great effect in Lost At Sea.

The album hits us with raw, all-encompassing techno cuts alongside some choice left-field experiments (View From A Lighthouse, Radio Room and Light Years), cementing Terrence's reputation as the free-form producer of choice, not unlike a modern day Sun Ra. From the P-Funk basslines and melodies of Operation Acoustic and Incoming, to the dark, undulating Mills-esque sound of The Atlantic, this is a release that seemingly covers all the bases. 017 years after first releasing a cassette EP from label boss Marsel van der Wielen under his Peel Seamus guise, Delsin has now hit the landmark category number of 100. Truth is, taking into account choice re-issues and specials such as the recent house series, there have already been scores more than 100 releases.
Nevertheless, in that time the Dutch label has become synonymous with a wide range of timeless sounds from house to techno to dub to electronica, nurturing and championing some of the most respected names in the scene, all of which can now be enjoyed on 5 separate, various artist vinyl EPs or one impressive two disc compilation.

Far from just a collection of tracks, the 100DSR compilation has been carefully curated to tell the tale of Delsin. Each record conveys a slightly different part of the story - be it house, techno, beats or electro - yet every one is tied together by the label's own underlying sense of desolate melancholy.

Across the five EPs and complete CD collection there are tracks from newbies and old favourites alike, including Sawlin and Delta Funktionen, John Beltran and Bleak, Redshape and Convextion, Gerry Read and Claro Intelecto.

Hauff and F#X are stellar representatives of an experimental approach that has earned the
underground spot it's growing reputation. Emergence is a fitting theme, as 2013 is already

'Pudel Produkte' imprint as a member of 'Circuit Diagram'.
This is riotous and cerebral club music. The analog artifacts of A side 'Prototype'
permutate in tandem with melodic Detroit chords, a pounding rhythm section and a
central ascending 303 line. B side 'N313P' maintains the intense pace. Building around
competing resonances, the untethered Drexciyan melodies probe, expand and contract to
rapturous effect.

Covered in the known and beloved package-design but all in pink this time... dreamy and pretty and that's the way to start the music here, too.




Dutch based sushitech-producer Makam presents a dreamy opening track that is without any doubt the perfect start for this compilation. Warm harmonies and dropping sounds open up the door for track number two by Matt Tolfrey and Inxec: 'Never in doubt' continues where Makam stopped however Tolfreys and Inxecs harmonies and the moody atmosphere meet a solid beat programming and merge down to a pushing piece of music that could have seen the day of light in Detoit, the inofficial techno-capital. Alejandro Mosso joins the club with the third number of our M compilation and he opens up a bag full of positive energy and happiness. With a slight Cadenza-feeling his tune is made for the next beach-party and perfect for all you Âme-fans out there. 'Grinding Love' want you to move, forget and dance till you sweat! Douglas Greed steps back a bit on the energy scale but adds more craziness to the package with his production. 'Dynamite' is a freaky piece of tech-house in a cool Green Velvet style. Sounds, lyrics and the whole programming come pretty close to the lala-land-masters big hits. A cool tune with not very usual ingredients and for sure a great one! Coming up next is 'Beatmakerz".

D Carbone returns to the PRRUK imprint with a strong 12 called Acid Futurism. The name says it all. Fresh acid sounds without going too retro. Psych techno sound with strong syncopated rhythms. Something for the more intense dancefloor moments, a definite bomb.

With the 4th release the original 303 continues !! Acid Attack EP contains two original tracks from the masters Franky Jones and Stanny Franssen. The two experienced dj's found each other inside the silver box. Acid Attack is a hard acid track with the bpm going crazy at the end. And Acid Trip brings you to a higher state of mind. Last but certainly not least, the truly Acid Attack-Metacid remix, this Belgian upcoming duo will bring the dancefloor to another peak-time moment. Be prepared!!

Following the release of 'Life Performance' - Peter Van Hoesen's brand new live album on Tresor Records, here are three vinyl edits taken out of Van Hoesen's live set and edited into DJ friendly versions.

'Life Performance' was captured into a single, long form listening experience during a specially curated Time to Express label night at Tresor on July 19th, 2013. This new live album represents an important step forward for the producer.

Since 2006, Peter has played live in a variety of different settings and situations, from festival circuits and dark, sweaty venues to working with dance and theater companies on stage. Each live performance brought with it a necessary evolution in approach, which led to a varying sense of real 'live' interaction. At first, with a setup centered around a laptop, a drum machine was added, then slowly more and more machines entered into proceedings. Ultimately though, it was the computer that was to hold central guard in the coordination of each disparate sonic element.

Now, the laptop is being pushed aside, making way for the hardware to be brought fully to the fore, allowing for greater artistic freedom and expression. The focus is to be placed upon live improvisation in the creation of something wholly unique and ever-evolving. Sculpting this sound in real-time, allowing for the exploration of a multitude of possibilities and contorting parameters, in essence, a child-like approach to the idea of 'playing', of not being limited by the world around, is what drove this project forward.

Over the course of sixty minutes, the listener is exposed to a broad palette of sounds and patterns. Textural shifts, gentle rhythmic blends, dynamic synths, hooks and arpeggios coagulate into an exceptional aural experience, exemplifying an approach to music production in a live context that is both personal and unique.

We kick off in fine style with the first official full length album from Vatican Shadow (aka Dominick Fernow from Prurient/Cold Cave) after over a dozen cassette and vinyl only releases and reissues, and the first to be released on 12" format.

*At a time when the scene is saturated with 'Noise Techno' the album is almost celebratory by contrast, balancing caustic licks of distortion and oppressive bass with cleanly mixed synth tones and ricocheting claps in a shell-shocked, surreal soundsphere.*WIth production assistance from Juan Mendez (Silent Servant), the album includes the most direct and propulsive Vatican Shadow material yet, continuing an evolutionary shift awayfrom the complex, collage-based narrative of those cassette releases into more visibly direct contact with the listener. There is a functional connection to dance music here, honing in on the human element embedded within a subject matter so fraught with inhumanity.

Clone Classic Cuts continues their re-issues series for one of the most influential techno acts ever... Drexciya. The second selection of tracks including favorites such as ''Bang-Bang'', ''Positron Island'', ''Anti Vapour Waves'' and ''Journey Home'' complimented some lesser or unknown tracks. Raw, uncompromising music made with soul and creativity always has been the trademark of Drexciya (and also from their original label Underground Resistance) and this album is another showcase of their talents.

Valanx returns with the second album on diametric. and Arne Weinberg's project streamlines the minimalistic approach of the darker aspects of electronic music even more on 'ejecta'. The album continues where 'xenolith' from 2012 left off. The focus is set on eerie, cinematic and brooding atmospheres with slow pulsating, often tribalistic rhythms and dark electronic sounds. There is an eastern influence to be found in some of the tracks on 'ejecta', and sampling has played an important role in the creation of the music. For best sonic satisfaction listen with headphones in a dark room; the album delivers the soundtrack for the film in your mind. And remember, there is no light without darkness. 200 limited manufactured CD's in a slim line DVD case. The album will be followed by a remix 12' featuring ADMX-71 (Adam X), The Exaltics, CRC (one half of Morphology) and Louis Haiman.

The greater Lisbon area is separated by the Tagus river, North and South. BNM (Blacksea Não Maya) are from the South side and PDDG (Piquenos Djs Do Guetto) from the North Side. This EP is the expression of work being done for the past couple of years through a monthly club night that put these crews playing together in downtown Lisbon.

Both BNM and PDDG have been producing a lot and we were blessed to have been able to meet them and help spur their enthusiasm for song structure as well as providing them with an outlet for rhythmic experimentation (you wouldn't believe the quantity and quality of rhythm tracks they produce for their own DJ sets). You will hear their names as signatures within the tracks, as an identifier for outsiders. They are familiar to us now.

DJs Kolt, Perigoso and Noronha are not only part of the same crew, there is actually family blood running in some of the guys from BNM. Home turf is Bairro da Jamaica, one of those neighbourhoods that look like they were bombed and shakily rebuilt (more accurately, never actually fully built). It is at the heart of urban disorder that BNM forged an identity, picking up signals from the rich musical background all African descendents carry in their blood and translating them through their hearts and minds.

"Afrooloove" is a sentimental take on afro house. Percussion is both King and Queen, the clipped bassline is strangely calm, doing its work regardless of all the surrounding elements, and everything melts together beautifully as the song evolves;

"Decalée" cruises at a different, faster pace. Rhythmic intensity is manifest on different levels, almost as if everything is running parallel and magically fits together. Halfway between kuduro and house, this one bangs hard and still manages to soften a few hearts;

"Dia Da Moka" is all about the interplay between a vocal hook and a twisted accordion melody. The rhythm track is somewhat subjugated but on close inspection it's as rich as all the best music DJ Perigoso has shown us: a bubbly bassline (sounding like a muffled tabla) and a sort of stuttering synthetic snare hitting every moving target;

In "Africa Congo" you can hear, if you like, the same pulsing bass drum as in countless Basic Channel / Chain Reaction productions, but that's because the bass drum is The Mother. Similarities end right there, and the fact this song is titled "Africa Congo" doesn't mean it fits within preconceived notions of what current African music is supposed to be. Noronha is showing all this talent comes from being a free agent, insulated from the outside world just enough so the rich patterns you hear sound like no other.

Side B is taken up by PDDG, a crew formed out of admiration for their elders DJs Di Guetto (The P on PDDG stands for Piqueno, meaning Little), now veterans who released the influential "Dj's Di Guetto Vol. 1" compilation back in 2006. Those were Marfox, Nervoso, N.K. and others. Their example was followed by really young kids mostly living in Quinta do Mocho, not far from the tail end of Lisbon airport's main runway. Firmeza, Maboku and Lilocox represent the crew for this EP.

"Dedicado Projecto Princepe" is DJ Firmeza's hommage to the club night bearing the label's name. Our mutual respect comes full circle here in this raw, primal bouncer. Firmeza mastered a complex web of rhythmic breaks and shouts that translate a barely contained energy, they seem to indicate a very real physical effort being made to keep up with the
track and evoke the muscle needed to dance through the whole night;

"Remeche As Coisas" uses the recurrent vibes motive these producers always manage to recycle in a fresh way. Overall it's an abstract, broken beat, start-stop and wonderfully "disintegrated" affair, showcasing the rhythmic urgency always at the centre of this music;

Maboku comes out as the charmer in the crew. His "Instrumental P" matches flute with all kinds of percussion drops, extremely soulful ambience, a tense but love-drenched groove that transcends all ideas of afro house or even plain house;

You can hear some of the same strong points in "O Vento uma Verdadeira Amizade" ("The Wind A True Friendship"), a collaboration between Maboku, Firmeza and Lilocox. Different worlds collide here. Deep, sexy house, traditional African melodies (a very evocative Funaná accordion), epic horns calling to a love battle, military snares lined up for the call, and the softest of basslines sounding like a moody soundtrack to a chilling scene in a movie. We believe this is yet to be named.

We hope you will listen to this music outside of any set of rules and enjoy it for what is is: beautiful, intuitive, handcrafted, heartfelt.

Former Instra:mentalist Damon Kirkham expands his Jon Convex enterprise with his debut on Civil Music featuring two new original
tracks alongside remixes from Civil Music signee Ore and frequent Convex collaborator, Exit Records main man & DnB legend
dBridge.
In parallel with his former production partner Alex Green aka Boddika, Kirkham has successfully transposed his D&B palette into a
slower template, finding his solo sound as Jon Convex somewhere between the stripped-down, electro-flavoured rhythms that
powered the final Instra:mental album, Resolution 653 and muscular warehouse flavoured techno.
Constituting the first significant Jon Convex release since his acclaimed 'Idoru' LP last year, 'Losing Time/TX' further refines this
hypnotic, powerful analog sound.
'Losing Time' opens; an electro strut formed from syncopated rhythms, ticking snares and analog bass creates frictionless
momentum that hypnotises and keeps swinging as it tunnels under a wash of distorted mechanical abstractions and dislocated
voices.
'TX' follows and ratchets up the intensity; throbbing techno rhythms to rival anything emanating from one of the continent's
gargantuan main rooms. Snare claps and orgiastic samples combine with the insistent, heavy bass thumps to create a dizzyingly
pounding groove. Techno music that sounds sensuous and danceable while still being harsh, heavy and filled with a level sci-fi dread
befitting of a producer who takes his alias from dystopian thriller Videodrome.
Ore's remix of 'TX' is his first remix outing and the recent Civl Music debutant moves exquisitely through plaintive Basic Channel
esque dub atmospherics before jacking machine rhythm and barely-tamed percussion emerge to create moments of heart in mouth
tension and show further why he is one to watch. dBridge's revision of 'TX' is half-stepping 85bpm/170bpm and Autonomic
influenced. Building hydraulic post-hardcore rhythmic swerves from the components elements he shows the timelessly influential
qualities he can draw on in his productions.

Metacid is the cooperation between David Gneo and Marc Carbone better known as dj Carbo. For years known of the AcidArea and Braincrash parties.

The synergy of two experienced dj's will result in a variety of styles. From Oldschool Acid and Acidhouse to the harder work, acidcore and tekno. They are also influenced by the great Detroit sound.

For a dj-set they always play together as Metacid but they can also perform as Metacid LIVE to bring their own productions on the stage. Their label Braincrashed Records was founded in 2009 with the first EP 'Anarchy'.

Metacid is the cooperation between David Gneo and Marc Carbone better known as dj Carbo. For years known of the AcidArea and Braincrash parties.

The second release was together with Stanny Franssen with his only official release of these tracks on the 'Regain EP'.

A debut that stands out 'State' showcases an artist
ready to make their mark. Prime-time Berghain
techno functions are triangulated with Detroit in
1987, Birmingham in 1997 and London right now.
The result is sumptuously textured asymmetric
dance music. Richly harmonic, expressionist techno
that takes in pneumatic hi-tech funk, warehouse-
maddening propulsive hydraulic and rarefied low
frequency dub chords. Complete with laboratory-
precise edits, cold, crystalline sampling and skeletal
machine effects Ore recall's Richie Hawtin's
Plastikman all the while keeping a rooted afro-
rhythmic swing reminiscent of Theo Parrish with
shuffling hi-hats, deep bass and strokes of barely-
tamed percussion.
'Four Pins' combines the most effective elements of
South London and Detroit disciplines with dub
signal to create an outright killer. Tightly coiled it's
razor-sharp sounds piston around a stripped
warehouse thump and tension-cranking square
wave bass. Four Pins high-precision techno is
industrial and cavernous yet it aligns effortlessly
with the jacking, teutonic rhythms....

After a busy year gigging in all corners of the earth, and focussing production efforts on long-term collaborative projects with Joel Martin and Thomas Gandey, Matt Edwards is back with another long-awaited slab of Radio Slave goodness on Rekids.

After the recent success of his 'Repeat Myself' release on Spencer Parker's fledgling Work Them Records label, it seems that Matt is still in the mood for making statements - complete with photocopier samples and cheeky vocal refrains, in his own words 'The Clone Wars' is a 'war cry to people out there, music or otherwise, who think it's creative and cool to just replicate the past."

Strong words, but does the track stand up as well Absolutely - according to the feedback coming directly from the dancefloor anyway, and that's the main thing. The vinyl edition comes as a limited run of 200 copies - each hand-stamped with its own individual custom-made sleeve. The digital version comes bearing 'A Capella' and 'Synthapella' tools for any budding remixers out there. Just make sure you do something original with them.

Sampler 2 kicks off with SCB's Dissipate, a gritty 4/4 number that's been driving dancefloors crazy with its seemingly constantly ascending intro. This is definitely one of SCB's finest productions to date and hugely sought after by his followers.Basic Soul unit provides the AA side, hot off the back of his debut Nonplus 12' he continues in the same vein with 'Untoward'. This is heads down techno of the finest quality and this time he's thrown some acid into the equation which bubbles and brews into a monster of a track.

Beretta Music, one of Detroit's finest techno crews, returns to top form with 'Volume 2,' the new Various Artist 12" release on sub-label 'Beretta Grey.'

'Volume 2' offers atmospheric, eerie undercurrents and the tapestry of raw, primal dance floor techno achieved through repetition, but also by creating an extra layer, a gateway to dimensions that few other artists explore. Joshua Harrison's 'Soulsville' sets off alarms with cymbal crashes, interstellar pulses and tension-filled techno stabs that are fit for the darkest corners of Detroit. Keith Kemp takes us on a ride with 'Vector Ride.' Kemp manages to take the tribal rhythms of his releases and morph them into a peak-time floor filler. An altogether more cerebral Luke Hess & Seth Yender (as Fox N' Hound) deliver 'Adventure One,' guiding us on a dreamy journey through a haunted techno forest of zone. To round out the EP, label mastermind Brian Kage gives us 'Essentials.' Kage builds a dark, yet optimistic atmosphere that is intensified by classic drum patterns and a timeless rhythmic vocal phrase.

If you could imagine what Chip E would sound like if he owned/utilised more than one keyboard, then "Belgium Stance" would be a good starting-point. Coming like Millie Jackson and we're back to the shit on "55 Rules": the creepy shit that is. Creepy and freaky, as if L Ron Hubbard & Ron Jeremy ran a Butlins holiday resort in the Shetlands in the late 80's. We know you think about that kinda thing all the time anyway, and VernoN's only here to make manifest through sound your wildest, darkest fantasies.

Cleric is a bit of a mystery guest even for us. A Techno producer with a love for the drones we know so well. A promotor of small underground parties in his home base Manchester - and a Chelsea fan, but not lynched yet to our knowledge.

That's about all we know really, so letting the music speak for itself is the key here.

Delivery doesn't stand on ceremony and blasts of straight away with a Techno stomper that will make people move for sure. But there's a lot more subtle flavoring underneath the surface: a constant layer of carefully crafted noises that make it a rich, deep sound despite of the dance floor pedigree this track clearly has.

The experiment of Wornitz was the first track we actually got to hear, and anyone with a heart for electronic music will feel the repressed threatening power of this tune. Reminding us a bit of Shed-meets-Jeroen Search, this track gets better every single time you take the time to put your headphones on and let it crush you in your seat.

On we go to the flip side of the vinyl, where Morose, the most accessible track of the bunch, shamelessly addictive and utterly simple for maximal effect. The break has caused serious damage already to various dance floors that were used as testing grounds.

Remix duty can be tricky, but not when one of your ultimate heroes signs on to the project. Boy oh boy, we were over the moon when Dario Zenker agreed to remix a track, and he sure as hell did not disappoint us. He turns Morose into an ultra-dark track that is so hypnotizing at the same time. The melody that comes into the track lifts it far beyond the usual Techno you usually get.

Nobody knows where these guys were beforehand, but this record is a real hit. A new release has emerged from an equally new label - Detroit Techno Archive; it reflects the label's name perfectly. The 12inch recording includes six wonderful Detroit techno tracks, from a couple of artists. The first associations that come to mind are Detroit legends like Underground Resistance, Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Kenny Larkin, and Octave One. You'll find some old-school techno with a rich groove, multilayered melodies, and some great stories behind them. This is real hi-tech jazz.

On Side One you'll find Denizo. He has already shown a similar style on labels such as Etiku World, where - in 2008 - he performed 'Life for Life' under the name Denis The7notes. Now, for his new label, he has produced three high-quality and brand-new cuts.

1. 'Rising Light.' This energetic track has a groove based on acoustic guitars. It speeds up, getting hotter all the time. The flames are then extinguished by some strings: it's all exciting - and emotional, too.
2. 'Redirection.' This shows some Latino influences, a mix of intriguing percussion with a massive bass line. It's all grounded by the melancholy sounds of an orchestra. The strings penetrate the forward rush of the groove - and reveal a new story to us.
3. 'Firelife.' A totally classic techno track! The strings sound like the voices of Motor City. They come pouring through a hot bass and get mixed with the Rhodes. The groove is accompanied by new instruments to create an amazing energy. You really have to hear it!

Side Two brings the work of Alex W. Previously you could hear his work in the sets of Dave Clarke, Derrick May, Vince Watson, and others. His composition 'Someone Old PornStar' was republished twice in 2007-2008. Alex's new works make up the second half of our fresh release.

'Midnight Express': a feisty track with a springy bass line and some bright percussion. You'll hear resonant pads and strings, coming together in a live atmosphere. As soon as the groove breaks out into some rich chords, they fly by - like lights around a speeding night train. It's beautiful stuff.

'Soft Rhodes': a tender and melancholy composition. You'll be won over by its melodies and carried into the depth of multilayered pad-work. The melodies intertwine in fantastic patterns and the rustling hi-hats are never totally subsumed in the groove.

'Summer Sunset': a real sonic painting. Live sounds operate like waves on the sea. Wonderful melodies, together with pads, and a thick bass sound really create the impression of a summer sunset. They come together with some broken, light beats and soft female vocals. The track is really upbeat and sunny.

In closing, we'd just like to say this release truly matches the standards of classic Detroit techno - even though it's a product of 2013!

Hardly anybody has brought electronic music from Berlin to the farthest flung corners of the world with more passion and enthusiasm than Modeselektor and Apparat. Vaghe Stelle is Daniele Mana (who is also one third of One Circle). Daniele is a Turin-based producer who could be considered an oddball by his peers. Vocaloid sounds for his bass lines and lead sounds, videos of cyber-wandering in Vatican's Saint-Peter church on Google Streetview, and DJ sets with Justin Timberlake tracks mixed with something that sounds like Cosmic Garage on acid, is just a glimpse of what you should expect from him.From synth-heavy Techno to lo-fi shenani-gans, he has mastered the concept of dream music and pushes it forward like a mad scien- tist. Having released his music on Margot Records, Shabu Recordings, Danse Noire, Astro:Dynamics, Monkeytown Records and Left Blank, and being remixed by established names such as Lukid, Peaking Lights, Nguzunguzu, Samoyed and BNJMN, it is safe to say that we will hear more of Vaghe Stelle's out of reality music, feeding the minds of the masses.

Jorge Bule , The Iberian artist ushers in dubby basslines but drowns them in shards of metal. You would be forgiven for thinking this was Dub Techno, or even Electronica. Epic_Deep

The label founder Hunab, moulds complex compositions of swimming soundscapes. Twinkling melodies are supported by cymbals and broad bass. A longing gaze back to the structures of Electronica is linked with smudges of Dub and Industrial to produce a hazy and soulful sound.

Forget any preconceptions of what a Killawatt release may sound like, as his latest Osiris Music UK release marks an exciting venture
in to the unknown. Across seven tracks he transects moods, tempos and textures to build his most accomplished and varied release
yet, veering between roving techno weapons and immersive sound design. The EP, 'Bring Down The Walls' almost features a mini
album's worth of material, with tracks like 'Square Trip (Round Trip)' breaching the 10 minute mark in what is an absorbing
progression from ominous, tension-building beginnings before emerging as a driving late-night dance floor killer. 'Highway Hypnosis',
'1625' and 'Jack & His Magic Beans' all follow a similarly heavy path; techno leaning, ground-raising 4x4 beats not for the faint-
hearted, shrouded by complex assemblies of bleak, industrial atmospheres. Killawatt turns the EP on its head with 'Too Early', a
beautifully mournful beat with hiphop rooted rhythms and glacial melodies that chill you to the core. The release's darkest moments
come with the grinding, bass-heavy churn of 'Back Into A Fucked Up Recess', a track reminiscent of Shackelton at his most
menacing and abstract, and 'Disconcerting' is exactly as its title might suggest; a paranoid soundscape of plunging bass growls and
