Introducing to EarToGround Records one of the leading lights in abstract techno, as we showcase work from the brilliant Argentinian producer Translate. Translate comes with a very well-defined discipline when it comes to techno; it demands your patience and full attention at all times.
As part of the 20 Years of BM anniversary celebrations, Bondage-Music proudly presents Bondage Games Pt. 11 — a special five-part vinyl series. Each release is named after a constellation, together forming a unique tribute to two decades of Bondage-Music.
With Bondage Games Pt. 11, the label's iconic vinyl series returns in its most ambitious edition to date. Created to celebrate 20 years of Bondage-Music, the series unfolds across five constellation-themed releases, each featuring four exclusive productions from artists closely connected to the label.
The first chapter, Ursus, brings together four exclusive tracks from Roger Gerressen, Sascha Dive, Rhadow and Lola Palmer. From Roger Gerressen's hypnotic groove-driven Patterned Shards and Sascha Dive's unmistakable deep house craftsmanship on Dub Chronicles #10 to Rhadow's atmospheric Ripples and Lola Palmer's warm and emotional Slow Down, the record perfectly reflects the timeless musical identity that has defined Bondage-Music since day one — deep, soulful, groove-focused and made for both intimate listening and late-night dancefloors.
Pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl and housed in an individually printed sleeve, Ursus continues Bondage-Music's longstanding commitment to exceptional quality in both music and design. The artwork was created by BM's longtime Head of Artwork, Pete Bombart — a close friend and an integral part of the label since its earliest days. His unmistakable visual language has become inseparable from the Bondage-Music identity, earning a loyal following far beyond the music itself.
Whether collected as part of the complete anniversary series or enjoyed on its own, Bondage Games Pt. 11: Ursus is a celebration of the artists, the friendships and the unmistakable sound that have shaped Bondage-Music over the past twenty years.

Soma label heads Slam curate a specially designed package of tracks to finalize their Archive Edit project that sees them delve deep into Techno's past to bring some of the genre's best tracks into the modern age. The Archive Edit project started as a way for Slam to showcase and share the many different edits that had made their way into their DJ sets over the last few years.

Tracks from luminaries such as Nitzer Ebb, Thomas P Heckmann (as Silent Breed), Damon Wild & Terrence Fixmer have been re-edited alongside some of Slam's own unreleased material, showcasing the duo's current sound; one that naturally evolves, matures and demonstrates why the duo have been at the forefront of the global scene since its inception.
Amelie Lens' debut album 'AURA' is the first full-length studio album to come from the Belgian artist despite being one of the most respected and sought-after acts in electronic music today.
Of the album, Amelie says:
"'AURA' is my story. Aura is about the connection between the crowd and me. Music has always been my escape, my way of turning my emotions and energy into something new. When I was younger, I would disappear into nightclubs and create myown world in my head. Being in the nightclubs gave me this feeling of belonging somewhere, I felt connection and freedom I had never experienced before. That feeling changed my life completely. So this album really reflects that whole journey. From playing tiny local clubs and driving myself through the night for gigs, to standing on huge festival stages, becoming a mother, building EXHALE and learning how to balance it all in life.
I wanted 'AURA' to feel emotional but still powerful, uplifting but raw. From big festival tracks to the trippy tracks I'd play at 4am at RSO. Although making this album is one of the biggest things I have ever done in my life, I wanted to keep it light and somehow playful. Because that is also how I am as a person. This is the most honest version of myself I've ever shared. I hope it brings some light, happiness and connection to others as it does to me. Because Aura is and always will be about my connection to you."
The album will consist of 11 brand new tracks, all produced by Lens - with one stellar collab, who will be announced in due course.
Autechre setzen ihre chronologische Reihe von LP-Neuauflagen mit den Alben Untilted (2005) und Quaristice (2008) fort. BAUGRUPPE90 return to their MONTAGE imprint with a four-track release built around different shades of peak-time functionality, moving between emotional warehouse pressure, stripped-back bounce and rolling club mechanics. A1 “Crowd Can’t Sit Down” sets the tone with an emotional big-room charge: a warehouse stomper driven by scale, tension and a sense of release without losing its physical weight. “The Bell” follows with a cleaner, more direct approach, pairing old-school energy with a bouncy, forward-pushing groove and a distinct FM-driven sound that gives the track its sharp, instantly recognizable character. On the flip, “Gummy Cluster” moves into more unconventional territory. Built around inventive sound design, shifting textures and an unusual rhythmic vocabulary, the track functions as a club tool while maintaining a character of its own. Closing track “Roller” is exactly what its title suggests: a locked-in, propulsive groove designed to keep moving without unnecessary detours. Across four tracks, BAUGRUPPE90 balance personality with utility, keeping MONTAGE firmly focused on music made for the floor.
The Body Works begins from a simple idea: sound does not end at the speaker, and music is something that is not only heard, but held, felt, and carried. By translating sound into physical form, the project creates an encounter that exists between listening and touch.
Rhythm is anticipated by muscle, voices affect breathing, and repetition changes our sense of time. Listening is already a physical act. Rather than treating the body as a subject represented by the music, The Body Works treats it as the place where the music happens; the physical and perceptual space through which sound is experienced.
Primarily consisting of left-leaning club music, the LP moves between trap-tinged tech funk, sweaty nocturnal throb, bottom heavy breaks, seedy cowbell acid, pumping techno workouts, doting hi NRG, cosmic homoerotica, and electronic disco. Interspersed and laced atop are more exploratory approaches to sound. Synthesis, field recordings, voices, electroacoustic and musique concrete techniques, plus a dose of offbeat humour are all treated equally as compositional material.
The record travels through ordinary human actions and situations - partying, sleeping, travelling, cooking, flirting, drinking, dancing and listening. These are not presented simply as themes; they become compositional material through which sound, attention, movement and the body interact. "A lot of the record is just weird normal things happening around me. Sleeping, travelling, flirting, drinking water, trying to kill a fly. The more attention you give these things, the stranger they become", comments Bjarki.
Dame-Music celebrates its 55th release with Second State Of Reality EP, a special reissue of two acclaimed Bloody Mary tracks, “Reality One (Acid Mix)” and “Reality Three (909 Mix)”, alongside a brand new remix by techno legend Chris Liebing, one of the genre’s most influential and enduring artists.
For the A-side, Bloody Mary invited Liebing to reinterpret “Reality One (Acid Mix)”. A long-time supporter of his work, she wanted to hear her track through his distinctive sonic approach. The result is a heavy, driving techno remix, pushing the original’s acid energy into darker and harder territory.
The B-side returns to Bloody Mary’s hardware roots, with crunchy TR-909 drums, crisp highs and mind-melting 303 sequences across two raw, hypnotic cuts.
A special reissue celebrating the 55th release on Dame-Music, bringing Bloody Mary’s acclaimed hardware productions back together with a fresh Chris Liebing interpretation.
B?hm delivers pure dance floor action on Dolly with this solid 3 tracker. Solar cycle is serious UK rave, deep bleep and slamming breakbeat dance floor madness, As simple as that!!! :-)

Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his 'Translate Rhythms' EP on Mutual Rytm's X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDW's new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12" 'You And Me', which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub.
In its original form, the bright, expressive 'Flow' is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The 'Chord Dub' is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the 'Breakbeat Mix' fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.
In statement to Its identity, Fergus Sweetland's Pain in the Brain EP initiates the linage of the unapologetically physical, vinyl-only Wobble Wax.
His release at its core is a computerised gallop, grounded in playful but mature musicality. Fergus' chord aware contemporary detailing emits a breezing alchemy of wiseful restraint from an artist who understands the assignment.
The ever-welcoming theme of Sweetland's signature percussion ensures each of the 4 excursions deliver a cohered reference, but not without unique imprint. Speaking to the subtle, non fixed states, that Wobble's manifesto arguments.
Notable entries include: B2's 'Pain in the Brain'- a sharply composed stab anchored in acidic static'ism. And A1's 'Lean into Fuzz'- An aura farming ode to synth-tropic minimalism.
Slammer Weapons EP es la tercera referencia en 12” que firma el artista Colombiano de electrónica oscura, Filmmaker.
Slammer Weapons EP is the third 12” release from Colombian dark electronic artist Filmmaker.
Side A kicks off with “Swordmaster,” a combative track with a syncopated rhythm and a powerful punch. It’s followed by “Power Overturn,” an exercise in oppressive tension and binary rhythm driven by dense synth lines. The EP closes with “Leveling,” a downtempo track featuring acid arpeggios that evolves from an initial lightness into a dense and sophisticated soundscape.
Side B opens with the relentless energy and unrelenting break of “Restoration Quest.” Next, “Knighthood” showcases a rich texture where the percussion blends with highly intense melodic sequences. The EP closes with Dob41’s reinterpretation of “Swordmaster,” who, after an expansive introduction, transforms the original track into an extremely powerful track.
The impeccable mixing and mastering are handled by Dan Böhler, and all the visual imagery surrounding the record is the work of Lucas Salinas.
Hakim Murphy, Venn Diagram, four cuts on one twelve. Old Detroit machine funk meets old Chicago swing, no reinvention needed. Straightforward drum programming, straightforward intentions, nothing chasing trends here. Does what it says. Solid.
The return of Batty Bass is well and truly underway with a brand-new four-track EP from Hannah Holland. Bringing together Holland with long-time collaborators Kurtis Lincoln and Joy Joseph, the EP delivers four killer dancefloor workouts.
'Action Satisfaction' comes in heavy, driven by a seriously mean, ceaseless bassline and Kurtis Lincoln’s unmistakable vocal, with Joy Joseph’s percussion adding another layer of physicality to the track. Lincoln is an artist, writer and performer whose work moves between fine art, rave culture and performance, bringing a distinctive theatrical edge to his vocal work.
Joy Joseph is a drummer, DJ and live percussionist with a long history spanning East London’s New Wave scene through to collaborations with artists including Mr Hudson, Amy Winehouse and Jessie Ware.
'Mitzubishi' takes things somewhere darker. A sinister, heads-down number built for late-night pressure and packed dancefloors.
The remixes bring two fresh perspectives to the EP’s originals. DJ Spilt, known for his raw take on classic Chicago house, brings down the tempo with a sleazy, low-slung groove that swaps peak-time pressure for after-hours swagger. Meanwhile, Wigs turns Mitzubishi into an even more techno-tinged, heads-down affair designed to lock the crowd in and keep them there.
Contrast EP splits into two sides, and the split is the point. Ittara takes the first side with Anticorps and Silent Waves, Jonas Xenon takes the second with 2010 and Wriezener Studies. What connects them is depth: mega deep techno and house, pushed into dubbish territory, built for dancing rather than for show. The low end sits heavy and the space around it stays open, so the tracks have room to move and echo. On a floor it works slowly, pulling people into a long, dubby groove that keeps them moving. Detroit techno, deep house and dub techno all sit in the frame. Two artists, two approaches, one pull towards the deep end.
Incl Satoshi Fumi Remix. The titles set the mood: shouting at an empty sky, beauty in ruin, a fire that catches on wet ground. That is a dark, tense picture, and it fits the genres the record is filed under. Four tracks, one producer, one remixer, and a clear line from Detroit to acid.
Rhythm Cult returns with a heavyweight four-track EP from Magnetik Source, featuring a very special remix from Brian Kage. Four deep, driving cuts built for the heads, moving between Detroit house, dub techno and stripped-back machine grooves. Title track “Eastpointe” sets the tone with its rolling drums, deep chords and understated Detroit feel, before Brian Kage takes it deeper into tougher, more hypnotic techno territory. “Tecumseh” strips things back further, locking into a raw, drum-led groove, while “Cinron” closes the EP on a deeper, slower-burning note. A serious four-track package from Magnetik Source, with Brian Kage on remix duties and already receiving early support from John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Radio Slave, Danny Howells, Guy J, Joseph Capriati, Âme, Paco Osuna, Funk D’Void, Karotte, DJ Harri and Chris Fortier. Another Rhythm Cult release made with the vinyl heads firmly in mind.

Driveline Records presents its first solo EP, welcoming Maltese producer Patient to the label. Across four tracks, Patient showcases his signature blend of deep low-end grooves, hypnotic atmospheres and driving rhythms, staying true to the label's vision of timeless, dancefloor-focused techno. The title track, "Genetic Mutation", opens the record with a powerful and atmospheric journey, combining hypnotic textures with a driving groove built for peak-time moments. On "Sphynx", rolling hi-hats, evolving percussion and subtle tension create a hypnotic, constantly moving groove that keeps the dancefloor locked from start to finish. Flipping to the B-side, "Drift" shifts the focus towards deep low-end frequencies. Rolling basslines, immersive atmospheres and subtle movement give the track a dynamic yet restrained energy. Closing the EP, "Not A Replica" delivers a classic syncopated groove, full of tension, punch and infectious swing. A functional dancefloor weapon that provides the perfect finale to the record. With DLR002, Patient delivers four distinctive cuts that balance atmosphere, groove and functionality, reinforcing Driveline Records' commitment to timeless, vinyl-focused techno.
QE's I'm Back EP sits between oldskool vibes and deep raveish techno, and it flows. Five tracks, deep and rolling, with an oldskool feel in the groove and a rave pull running underneath. On a floor it plays as one long stretch rather than a run of peaks. What's Next? and This is Next open it up, then I'm Back, Set You Free and Release Yourself keep the movement going. Nothing hurries, and nothing needs to. Steady, deep, and made for staying inside the groove.
TECHNO Records introduces Robert Johnstone, a Scottish producer whose music has travelled further than his name. Rooted in the physical drive and electronic vocabulary of the 1990s, the record feels like a contemporary extension of that classic language: functional, inventive and full of rhythmic accents, small traps and details that register fully at club volume.
Across both sides, TECH044 moves naturally between driving techno and more sensual house territory, combining direct club utility with playfulness and surprise. The record brings desire and sensuality back into a club context, entering into a dialogue with the history of the underground as a space of bodily and sexual freedom.
Robert Johnstone has spent years working outside public view, building a substantial catalogue while keeping his public profile sparse. The record speaks to DJs and collectors drawn to classic electronic forms shaped by an individual hand.
Belgian independent label De:tuned, founded by Ruben Boons and Bert Hermans, celebrates its 50th release with the long-awaited 10-track studio album 'Analog Days' by Swedish electronic music pioneer Robert Leiner. During the first years of De:tuned, Robert Leiner (aka The Source Experience) played a vital part in kick-starting the label. He also graced the De:tuned parties with his outstanding dj sets and captivating live acts.
Continuing the label's 15th anniversary celebrations, De:tuned and Robert Leiner mark the occasion with an extraordinary collection of mostly hardware productions recorded between 2005 and 2015. These diverse jams have now been mixed and completed for this momentous milestone. On offer a unique interplay of rhythmic movement and soothing sounds, each presenting Robert's distinct characteristics. Enjoy the trip. It has always been there, you just have to discover it!
Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis. A separate digital release will also be available at the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!
New Rosati on deck! The Italian producer returns with a deep excursion for the late-night hours. Shifting focus toward a warmer, more atmospheric sound, this release delivers rolling baselines, lush chord stabs, and infectious house-infused techno grooves. Pure sonic hypnosis!
Rotor Militia is a Rotterdam based electronic music project focussing on a combination of techno driven digital beats and hypnotic abstract layers of ritualistic and synthetic sounds.
Continuing with our ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of releases, on our fiercely independent techno label based in Scotland, we bring you disruption, disobedience and disorientation. These are the sounds of a militant insurrection. The might of all those that are deemed unworthy by those in power are brought to bear by this overpowering demonstration of sonic judgement.
There’s three original acts of rising in active revolt on this release that look deep into the mind of the cogs that turn the rotors of sedition. With an additional unrelenting militaristic remix by Kukri that’ll have every techno disciple marching to its inflexible beat with unswerving devotional solecism for the cause, this is a true weapon of choice for a destructive techno onslaught.
WARNING: SONIC ABUSE OF SUCH MAGNITUDE WILL GUARANTEE YOU A ROOM IN THE TECHNO ASYLUM
It’s the last W133 release for the summer of ’26 and it’s a big one. Label Papa Pino and Rotterdam’s samwho pair up for a banging, driving, proggy collaboration/split EP entitled “Baobab”. The duo behind W133 bestseller “Jacarandas” unite again for two more collaborative productions, complemented by one solo track each! Samwho starts off the EP with “D’espia”, a highly energetic progger with dreamy pads, crispy dembow percussion and sexy vocal stabs! On A2, we find the first collaboration, “Caramelo”. The two producers return to their signature percussion work, paired with a venomous rolling bassline and mysterious vocal snippets. On the flip side, the second collaborative track, “Lemon Hasj”, bangs in! A highly intense breaker with catchy vocal shots and chart-hit character. To close it off, Pino Peña delivers his solo production “Swarm Mystique”. The tune starts with a laid-back yet energising groove before swarm-like melodic pads creep in mysteriously! SHDW & Obscure Shape return to their mothership label From Another Mind with their six-track 'Vergessene Welt' EP, signalling the first material on the imprint for 18 months.
Founded in 2015, the launch of SHDW and Obscure Shape's label From Another Mind saw the Stuttgart-based DJ/producers establish themselves via a wealth of self-released material while welcoming a long list of high-profile remixers, including Rodhad, James Ruskin and Dax J. However, the pair's evolution saw new ventures explored and attention focused wider afield with the launch of their second label Mutual Rytm in 2022. Utilising their A&R skills, the label has seen the duo curate and invite a selection of up-and-coming and established names while also delivering their first EP on the label in Summer, 'Poetic Justice'. Exploring the techno sounds of tomorrow while drawing on influences of the past, the label quickly turned heads and has become a go-to for many. Following a brief hiatus, the attention is now turned back towards From Another Mind as the pair explore their origins and the signature FAM sound once again, opening the New Year with six fresh productions across their 'Vergessene Welt' EP.
Opener 'Planet Der Sturme' is an exhilarating ride through driving basslines, menacing synth lines and hard-hitting percussion to march towards the peak hours and set the tone for what's to come. 'Der Urknall' is a trippy and murky dive through off-kilter textures and regimented percussion, while 'Das Gefallene Konigreich' ups the energy levels further with sharp metallic tones, skittering hats and subtle haunting melodies launching deep into the late night hours.
On the flip, 'Geburt Der Erde' brings a slice of paired-back, groove-led techno as a slick acid line takes control and ebbs and flows throughout the track's six-minute duration, before closing the physical record via the delicate yet compelling sonics of title cut 'Vergessene Welt' - showcasing a deep dive into far-reaching corners of the genre.
With "Let There Be Light", Sina XX delivers a fiercely contemporary techno album rooted in heritage, futurism, and pure club energy. From the opening collaboration with Hebi Snake - merging Caribbean bele rhythms with razor-sharp sound design - to the cinematic closing moment of "I Can See Through Clouds" and its emotional depth, this record is engineered for both body and mind.
There are echoes of Detroit's activist ethos, early Berlin minimalism, and the global tribal lineage that has always driven dance culture forward. Designed for selectors who appreciate detail, tension, and grooves that evolve with purpose.

As electronic music pioneers and co-founders of Soma Records, Slam have continually shaped the landscape of underground techno. With their forthcoming album, Dark Channel, they present a raw, club-focused record that stands as both a reflection of our turbulent times and a celebration of the dance floor's enduring power.
In 2025, the world feels fractured, dominated by division and extremism. Amidst this chaos, the dance floor remains a rare sanctuary-one of unity, self-expression, and collective escape. Dark Channel is an unapologetic tribute to this sacred space, where rhythm dissolves barriers and music serves as a universal language. Through relentless energy, deep textures, and hypnotic grooves, the album embodies the essence of club culture: a place where we reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Slam make no mistake when it comes to the sonic tone of the album as it opens with the tribalistic Use It, Lose It before the discordant sounds of title track Dark Channel hints at the relentless nature of things to come. The intensity continues with Parametric Factor & Glide - both pushing a pulsating, synth driven trip; the later leading on a more traditional Slam percussive workout. The dance floor warping Morganatic pursues dark territory while Infinit Spaces adds trippy FX to an already animated synth hook. The beautifully crafted Kuture Version delves into a more immersive sound as more direct, chord driven elements take the lead. The pace quickens yet again with Ghost Dancer highlighting sub tones whilst still crafting ominous intonations with its modulating FX. Approaching the conclusion, the ferocious Beat On The Drum delivers a lesson in rhythm and energy before the contorted Irregular Object completes proceedings in a suitably hypnotic fashion.

Label-resident Stefan Vincent drops his first vinyl for Dynamic Reflection. And what an EP 'Elephant's Foot' is; three mesmerizing originals and an outstanding Linzatti remix on top.
Stefan's shedding his 'upcoming' status more and more and turning himself into an artist to watch. This EP is another solid step in that direction.
Two undisputed titans of the global electronic music scene team up like a classic comic book superhero alliance to restore order to modern underground dance floors. Swedish sound architect Cari Lekebusch and New York minimalism pioneer Steve Stoll join forces on Sonic Groove for the devastating "Out Of The Pocket EP." Stepping up to fight back against predictable trends, they deliver a masterclass in pure, uncompromising contemporary techno.
Swivel inaugura su nuevo sello Swivel Traxx produciendo cinco tracks originales recién salidos del horno.
Swivel Traxx steps up with ‘Out of Circle EP’, a 5-track trip delivered by label head Swivel. Blending raw 90s vibes with modern hypnotic soundscapes, the EP shifts gears from tense ambient to direct, Birmingham-influenced techno and high-energy cosmic madness. Built for both deep head-trips and pure dancefloor mayhem:
A1. Out of Circle (Prelude): A beatless atmospheric opener setting a mystical vibe for the whole record. A hypnotic, bell-like arpeggio glides over a warm Moog bassline and thick tension, teasing the concept behind the EP.
A2. Out of Circle: The title track drops straight into club territory while keeping things dark and mysterious. Massive cavernous pads, a driving rhythmic base, and a relentless sequenced synth loop pay homage once again to classic Birmingham techno.
A3. The Black Knights: A dark, dystopian trip. Driven by a hypnotic groove and sharp triplet hi-hats, this one brings a combat-ready energy made for peak-time dancefloor moments.
B1. Starlight: The fastest joint on the record (140 BPM). Equal parts melodic and club-focused, it locks TR-909 drums, Moog bass, and lush pads together for an astral trip into the unknown.
B2. Roundtable: A heavy, mental, and dark closer. Packed with raw analog-filtered synths, broken beats, and a relentless interplay of open and closed hi-hats, it delivers pure energy for the floor.
The Trip return for their second solo EP of the year. Four originals taking inspiration from classic Techno, House and Garage sounds. The new EP launches on their in-house label Tessellate this August.
Life In Patterns welcomes Uncertain for his first appearance on the label with “Defeat”, a five-track EP bringing together five warehouse-focused techno tracks, moving between darker industrial tones and the classic rave influences that have long been part of his sound. “Defeat” will release on vinyl and digital formats on 16 October 2026. Across the EP, Uncertain explores a broad range of peak-time energy. “Anxiety” and “Dismiss” take a darker route, built around tense atmospheres, heavy percussion, and industrial textures, while the remaining tracks introduce classic rave chords and a more open, melodic character. Despite the differences in tone, the five tracks share the same directness and focus, designed with the dance floor firmly in mind. Uncertain, formerly known as Boriqua Tribez, has been active in electronic music since 1989. Over the past two decades, he has released and remixed more than 50 tracks for labels including KMS, Recycled Loops, and Ingoma, before starting a new chapter under the Uncertain name in 2018. KYSH returns to wax with its third vinyl release — another milestone in the label’s steadily growing catalogue. More than a year and a half into the journey, KYSH feels more in its element than ever, bringing together five names that represent both the label’s own extended family and fresh acts joining the ranks. All well-established and highly respected figures in the modern techno landscape, they deliver a sharp selection of contemporary club weapons. Kashpitzky opens with “Blush”, a raw, boomy cut where rough-edged rhythmics meet crisp modern production, channeling the spirit of industrial techno at its best. “Tarmac” by Regent follows with a dense, restless groove, while Chontane’s “Gyuto” dives into hypnotic territory, layering rhythmic elements around subtle dissonant melodies. On the flipside, Temudo & Pierce join forces for the threatening, aggressively contemporary “Highest Clarity Grade”, balancing intricate sound design between rhythm and atmosphere. Closing comes GCOD with “Sleeper Agent” — dancing sub bass, a striking hook and a relentless hi-hat groove keeping the weight firmly down low. Another strong statement on wax, KYSH-003 confirms the label’s vinyl output as a mark of quality, with five floor-tested cuts drawing from a fresh, current take on the industrial influences that shaped techno a decade ago. A new lineup, a distinct direction, and five tracks ready to speak for themselves on a proper soundsystem.

The result is 13 tracks ranging from 71 to 115BPM, a collection of slo-mo 303, horizontal acid and assorted low-tempo excursions.

U//D welcomes Swedish maestro Arkajo to the label with Fourier Dust, a four-track EP built for deep dancefloors. Across the record, Arkajo moves through breakbeat techno, dark 2-step, broken techno and dubstep, with close friend and Naarm/Melbourne stalwart Pugilist rounding things out with a remix of “Chasm”.
A1, “Fourier Dust”, opens the record with a breaky techno groove driven by a ferocious acid bassline, razor-sharp percussion and deeply atmospheric pads. Tough, spacious and hypnotic, it sets the tone for the EP perfectly.
A2, “Illusion”, shifts into darker 2-step garage territory. Wobbling bass, submerged vocals and rolling percussion build throughout, with bongos keeping the groove moving as the track gets progressively deeper. There are clear echoes of the darker UK garage lineage of SP:MC and EL-B.
Flipping to the B-side, “Chasm” moves into techno-bass territory, pairing a wonky 4x4 groove with hypnotic, heavily dubbed vocals. The result feels both spacious and eerie, balancing club pressure with a distinctly psychedelic edge.
Closing the EP, Pugilist’s remix of “Chasm” takes things in a dubstep-leaning 2-step direction. Heavy rolling sub, signature dub stabs, swung percussion and the occasional wub give the remix serious weight — one designed to be felt properly on a big system.

The emerging young artist provides a strong and varied EP that introduces his deft production skills and understanding of balanced sonics. 'Borrowed Time' traces the lines of traditional electro but stirs the pot with new flavours and the result is something that is both unique and powerful. Late 90s Techno is referenced on the title track, a dark and haunting driver that emerges into euphoria later on in the journey. While the A1 features the cut up vocals of Babyblade and takes the listener on a pulsing trip that thrashes back and forth before restlessly settling down
Leo was born in 1972 and at the age of 15 discovered his passion for electronic music creating his first loops thanks to his Commodore Vic 20 and 64, spreading his own sound in the city when it was impossible to find in Rome any trace of electronic beats.
Soon after he became a true collector of analogue synthesizers with a serious approach in the study of modular synthesis which led him to develop unique skills as we have recognition of them from his early works for ACV records: Attack Random, Riders Of the Future, Noise Generation, Muta, Cannibald and Aeon are still a milestones for nowadays electronic music aficionados.
1989 marked the birth of The Sound of Rome, when Leo met Lory D in a small garage bringing life to a universal and alternative music movement who diffused Techno Music in Rome and all over Italy, pushing these two wizards behind the decks playing along the like of Dave Clarke, Joey Beltram, Robert Armani and UR among others.
In 1995 Leo decided to cut his relationship with ACV records and moved to Rephlex, Aphex Twin’s record label, starting touring with the Rephlex group after the Void album.
Ten years later Leo recorded his first single for a new project: Cannibald Records. Back to Life main target is to focus on house and techno classics reissue, and the mission continue with the official reissue of 1991 Leo's Noise Generation, a true special record that snaps an unforgettable highlight in the rave scene. BTL004 will be available with a special insert, black version and very limited white press to delight every serious vinyl collector.
