Tårne Spirer is Kelvin Brorson Thomasen and Jesper Bagger Hviid; starting in 2015, their debut cassette was a result of their mutual love for hardware synths, drum machines and soundtracks.
Through the last years the duo has mainly been collaborating with, recording and producing underground metal bands, their devotion to the deep realms of the Danish metal underground has led them down a darkened path.

I have had the name and the idea for this release and upcoming series for years, but it wasn´t until now I felt the time and music was right. This new series will be my personal playground with no specific concepts and musical genres. Following my heart and ears. Being present. Being Noir. These tracks were created from a lot of live sessions and not so much from programming. I felt that gave my "man vs. Machine" interaction more nerve and real dynamics. V1 is emotional and dark. Gritty and raw. A true reflection of how I like my music in 2020. Each track has personal depth for me and feels like the perfect fit for my first edition of the Stimulateur series.

Thousands of videos and millions of views later Sebastian Kökow and Kevin Paschold have become one of the most sought after video producers in electronic music - mostly for industrial-leaning techno, but also for all other kinds of electronic music.

Paal is passionate about hardware - analog drum machines, synths and pedals are tracked through a mixing desk, raw and unedited. Dragon Skin is a new conceptual compilation around the ideas of protection and safety released by Cønjuntø Vacíø that showcases new artists and some classic acts of the label.

Dragon Skin was a type of ballistic vest formerly made by the now defunct company Pinnacle Armor, currently produced in Missoula, Montana by North American Development Group LLC available for public, law-enforcement and military customers. Its characteristic two-inch-wide circular discs overlap like scale armor, creating a flexible vest that allows a good range of motion and is intended to absorb a high number of hits compared with other military body armor. The discs are composed of silicon carbide ceramic matrices and laminates, much like the larger ceramic plates in other types of bullet resistant vests.

On August 3, 2007, the Department of Justice announced that the NIJ had reviewed evidence provided by the body armor manufacturer and had determined that the evidence was insufficient to demonstrate that the body armor model would maintain its ballistic performance over its six-year declared warranty period. Because of this, Dragon Skin was found to not be in compliance with the NIJ’s testing program and has been removed from the NIJ’s list of bullet-resistant body armor models.

This EP is an excerpt from one of my live sessions performed with modular synthesizer and samples provided by Field Recordings. I'm focusing my attention to the sound design and mixing, evolving tracks structure.

Vulkanski is the alias of Tbilisi techno dj/producer Achi Tabukashvili. As a long time resident of infamous Tbilisi club KHIDI, he has been a pioneer of the Georgian music scene pushing forward pungent, vibrant techno and grinding, industrial soundscapes. He is also one half of duo Greenbeam & Leon who appeared on Boiler Room recently in response to the police raids on Bassiani and Cafe Gallery earlier this year.

For BITE, he presents the Science Gardens EP, his first ever release across 4 tracks.
The A side breathes with driving percussion and psychedelic noises rushing through the stereo field,
while the B side lends itself to stealthier grooves with dadaistic chords and rusty percussion.

'In the universe, there are things that are known, and things that are unknown. And, in between, there are doors.' Having honed a clear and uncompromising sound, which has been flexed across all manner of tempos, AnD return to Electric Deluxe with their first full body of work: a sonic contemplation of the cosmos, woven with all their industrial tropes in tact. The venomous hats and cavernous rumblings on 'Power Spectrum", the caustic squeals of 'Acoustic Oscillations' and the anxious pistons in 'Gravitational Waves", for example, should instantly resonate with fans of the duo's wanton dancefloor works. But another cataclysmic compilation this is not. 'Cosmic Microwave Background' is a far more composed and calculated affair, which sees the AnD sound assiduously recast into long-player format. The analogue bleeps of 'Particle' and grainy textures in 'The Epoch of Recombination' are some of the fluctuations that temper AnD's debut album into a solid listening experience, meanwhile exposing some of the pair's fluid and intuitive working process-with themselves as much as with their machines. Juxtaposing production precision with more freeform composition, 'Cosmic Microwave Background' as an opus is as intriguing and unexpected in its entirety as it's individual parts-for the vinyl collectors, reordered here into a double LP of functional floor material and more experimental pieces. Not that the album is quite so black and white. There are anomalies such as 'Non-Sky Signal Noise' which tread the velveteen grey area in between, with truly rewarding results. On 'Cosmic Microwave Background' AnD have found their door between worlds, and flung it wide open.

Notes: Rising label releases its second EP with an original track by Victor Martinez, another artist from the agency, that gives life to this record and gets completed by remixes from Oscar Mulero, Ness and Adriana Lopez. The original track by Victor, "Anything called dead consumerism', is all about visceral and obscure techno with broken rhythms and high levels of hypnotism. Following, we can find Oscar Mulero's remix, a version that suggests another groove but maintains the essence of the original making it a serious and effective weapon. On the B side we can find Ness' remix, a track that captures you since the beginning. Deep, elastic and elegant at the same time where hypnotism reigns and this few characteristics of the Italian producer. Adriana Lopez closes the EP with a more percussive and energetic version. Fine techno that catches you from the first beat, a perfect track as a DJ.

SDH return with the Against Strong Thinking EP, which follows its 2018 self-titled album. Although six songs may be insufficient, their new tracks highlight the strengths of their debut. The beats are deeper, the atmospheres sadder.

The band continues to explore the musical language as a poetic form and trying to discover new questions that allow the great categories of thinking to be undone. Against Strong Thinking talks about the importance of facing all that categorical, dogmatic and conclusive thinking. There is a need for dialogue with everything that seems unquestionable. Again, the questions guide all the songs and, again, there is no single answer. Sometimes this doubt is fertile, sometimes it is painful and involves a total and profound loss.

The album begins with Suffer, a perfect song to cry in late night clubs, dancing with tears in your eyes. But SDH know how to make a crowd dance too. No Miracles is an instant banger and Your Next Story sounds cruelly sexy. Poem Against Strong Thinking and Four Arms have that melancholic trademark sound with interesting musical progressions that we discovered in their first album and there’s also a good surprise: the inclusion of a re-recorded version of You Pt. 12, the first song released by SDH in 2016, this time with a better production that makes it easily one of their best tracks.

The importance of the body, the senses, the dance and the dialectic is present in each theme as a form of struggle of a voice that dialogues with itself against the firmness of its own strong thoughts.

Children Of Tomorrow will celebrate soon its 10 years anniversary. The label was created by Emmanuel Ternois back in the day and being joined by Arnaud Le Texier in 2011. Since then they focused on Techno producing amazing artists, to name few: Terrence Dixon, Zadig, Tensal, Antigone, Oscar Mulero, Jonas Kopp, Samuli Kemppi etc... Children Of Tomorrow is now presenting the first album from Arnaud Le Texier. After almost 30 years Dj-ing around the world and almost 20 years producing. Signing many releases over the years and always busy delivering dance floor releases, it's been a long wait to finally get an album from ArnaudOn his first album we can feel that he wanted to tell a story and to express something deeper with his production experience. There is a different variety of Techno that stretches from ambient / broken beat / hypnotic / raw Techno along with subtles grooves, wondrous atmospheres & sonic textures. On A side the album opens with Dusk, an ambient atmospheric mid-tempo track with sonic sounds that is a perfect intro.Pattern 2 starts with drones and blip sounds and a broken beat groove follows with a pad that sounds like a voice coming from the space. The track ends with some modular click sounds that make the whole track clever. Followed by the album title Granular Therapy, a deep techno track with modular bass line and melancholic pad. A perfect track to play in after or to warm up a party.The B Side is more dedicated to the dance floor with Black Nympheas that is a proper dark modern techno with a grinding bass line and magic drones. A simple beat makes the track evolve in a nice way. Blade Pass frequency is 4/4 effective Techno with a 909 kick, a syncope acid bass line and a pad that sends you to another dimension. It is a powerful track but with a sense of deepness and sensibility that Arnaud can achieve sometimes. This side closes with Binary Sun Dawn which is an ambient track with melody that has a jazz feeling mixed with dark atmospheres, sonic drones and water drops. The C side opens with Mono Driver, a minimal track with a little synth that stays until the end repetitively until it makes you travel and lose your mind. Deep and dance floor at the same time.

Then Snapper is a more percussive track with some shinning bells and a grinding modular bass line.

The last track Virgo Consortium is a cosmic broken beat with dark atmospheric drone, simple bass and phasing efx. The D Side starts with Midi overdub which is a beauty. A mix between ambient and broken beat. The pad has the deepness that transports you somewhere else with an angel choir on top. The beat is spacial and groovy at the same time with smart high hats. This reminds Arnaud's past ambient production but with a modern approach. Surely a special track of the album.

Hideous Engine is more dance floor with metallic bass line and 4'4 beat going towards a sonic pad that closes the track.The last track Dawn is ambient with drones and blip sounds and an acid bass line modulate. A perfect end of the album.This album is an accomplished journey that makes you dance and travel from dusk till dawn. Arnaud Le Texier shows a coherent vision and illustrates his vast diversity in the techno world. Hopefully we won't have to wait 20 years to get another one.

"MUSAR" is excited about the return of MANASYt - Bulgaria's electro-synth pioneer, for ’Inferior Subjects', a new album, bubbling with madness and loaded with darkwave sounds. The 2nd part of MANASYt's lost tracks series, recorded between 2000's to 2010's and found in his old PC.

For his second release on MUSAR, Petar Tassev collected some of his best unreleased works to date, inspired by metal and new-wave music then interpreting the moody, roughness to a raw, pure and dark adventure, like no one else does. 'Inferior Subjects' consists of 8 dark and psychotic tracks that will take you deep into a futuristic dystopian world adventure - Opener ''Screw The Routine'' is a dark-wave fetishistic killer, pushing the clubby electronic music borders to new limits.

''Terminal Medicine'' is a deep psychedelichorror soundtrack to a very bad day at your dentist while ''Daylight For 15 Seconds‘' (inspired by the Belgian film 'Nuit Noire') is a slow hazy burner that will send you straight to the mental clinic ''Positive Deception'' is the anthem of the aliens while attacking earth, ’'Secret Time'' will lock you in a room where time moves backwards and forwards at the same time and ''Insect Sect'' a mystic electro piece of music for
a deep nightmare.

Closing the album - ''Metacontol'' and ''God of Chance'' two evil energetic electro bombs, pure chaos and full of post-punk elements, perfect for fetish party/techno rave, fitting for an artist given to performing live in a rubber 'gimp' mask. 'Inferior Subjects' will mark the beginning of 'MUSAR's' new limited Cassette Tape series that will focus on producers edgy sides and the wonderful weird side of electronic music.

The official soundtrack from the Netflix movie 'Kidnapping Stella' gets remix treatments by dub techno mastermind Vril and Berlin local Anja Zaube on the A-side, as well as DUATRECORDS labelheads Amin Fallaha and R100 on the flipside.

Trying to build cultural bridges across the world, powering connection between dancefloor activists, Hard Fist thinks Princes Of Abzu not only as a compilation but as a tool to give space for expression to local legends like Kaan Duzarat in Istanbul or to upcoming artist such as Linja or Feller who are doing here their debut on wax. A tool to promote another vision of dance music, obviously produced to dance, but also to think, to raise curiosity, to keep a daring spirit and an open mind.

Iron Sight (Isak Hansen) returns on Strange Therapy with the second chapter of his sonic story: The Broken Son. The Danish artist continues his saga with a very narrative work exploring his inner world and memories throughout a double cassette release. Expect grim atmospheres and industrial-tinged scenarios, in which noisescapes and distorted vocals deliver a sincere and powerful performance enriched by crunching rhythms. But this not all: eerie and evocative ambiances, as well as surprising elements coming from distant sonic dimensions, shows us another side of his soul and art in a work full of pathos.

A Losers Game welcomes us with sparse rhythms and noisy vortexes underlined by aggressive vocals and mysterious atmospheres. A sense of dread and tension grows around us giving aural form to inner turmoil and unspoken words. Orchestral synth-lines enrich the track with an elation doomed to be cut short by the main theme. The Loser starts as an ambient piece full of evocative sounds and soothing atmospheres, a different affair showcasing emotional takes and grandiose choirs and arches. Then, destructive kick drums and malevolent vocals perturb our peace once again without forfeiting the previous motif in a climaxing communion of opposites.

This Is Not Your House/The Family rewards us with a beautiful mantra full of elegance and orchestral undertones. A hidden crescendo reaches desperate shouts among celestial soundscapes fusing ethereal movements and sharp noises – giving once again body to a mental dimension made of contrasting feelings. I Had A Name explores droning effects in a rare atmosphere rich in majestic awe, adding horn sounds and mechanical glimpses. We reach a compulsive march made of war drums and demonic vocals in a slow but crushing manifestation of rage. The perfect balance between elements conjure a unique feeling in the listener.

So Wrong dwells in dark ambient paranoia before engaging us with broken rhythms and sulfurous passages, building a techno-gothic pastiche with organ sounds. Iron Sight’s craft shows itself by the means of corrosive bass sounds and roaring vocals, picturing a scenario made of fractured tension. A suffering mind finds here is apt description thanks to a well thought songwriting, as well as a beautiful passage during the final part of the number. Devil’s Deadly Stare surprises us with soulful choirs akin to ethereal music, upon which a clean voice sings for us a crooning piece. This is a moment of pure bliss and a demonstration of Isak’s love for music in various forms. The listener will maybe think to retro and folk elements, but the track finds strength in its own peculiarity.

Cell employs sharp noises in a hypnotizing theme with droning repetitions and sparse sound, a representation of brooding feelings reaching sudden hard and distorted beats. Hoarse vocals guide us in a hellish but crawling mantra made of restrained aggression. Something is following us in its sonic corridors, but we never find a real conclusion to the alarming chase – the episode ends abruptly with a sense of suspense and dreamlike stupor, Gods Eyes ends our journey with elegant arpeggios and the usual sparse electronic elements. But if we think this is just a peaceful outro, we have to think again: stomping distortions and ogre-like vocals have their say during the slow crescendo. There is no happy ending at the end of the album, a sorrowful desperation mixed with rage is the final statement of a work of sonic art.

Skeleton At The Banquet is the new album from two-time Grammy award winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Gill Landry. Landry was originally from Louisiana and started out as a busker on the streets of New Orleans before becoming a contributing member of the band Old Crow Medicine Show with whom he recorded 4 albums and toured from 2004 to 2014.

He’s released 4 solo albums to critical acclaim, featuring such artists as Laura Marling, Brandi Carlile, Klara Soderberg (First Aid Kit) and Karen Elson among many others. Landry has toured extensively internationally in his own right, and has also supported Mumford & Sons, Brandi Carlile, Ben Harper, Laura Marling, Ben Howard and Bruce Hornsby. Skeleton At The Banquet is Gill Landry’s fifth studio album and the follow-up to 2017’s Love Rides A Dark Horse (Loose/ATO). “This album is a series of reflections and thoughts on the collective hallucination that is America,” he tells us. “With a love song or two thrown in for good measure.

... I wrote it from within the refuge of a small flat, in a small village in western France where I spent last summer. I found it to be a good place for seeing the forest through the trees, so to speak.” The album was recorded and produced in Los Angeles by Gill and Seth Ford-Young (Tom Waits, Edward Sharpe). It features Landry on vocals, guitars, pedal steel, keys & harmonica, Seth Ford-Young on bass, Josh Collazo on drums, Stewart Cole on trumpet and Odessa Jorgensen on violin.
