"Potency rolls into double figures with a new release from Malik Kassim, aka Retromigration. Following albums and singles on labels including Love On The Rocks, Rhythm Section and Wolf Music, the tenth release on Cromby's rapidly-evolving, floor-focused imprint locks into the sound of one of house music's most consistent and consistently exciting producers, seamlessly bridging the established Potency energy with a luxurious vision of the genre. 'Love Rock' summons an instant block party energy, showcasing the expert weight of Kassim's basslines, as well as hinting at the fusion of hip-hop and jazz that bubbles through the textures of the German-Nigerian producer's studio work. Meanwhile, 'I Do Dance' stays true to the promise of its title, delivering blissful sun showers of synths amid emotional pads and hints of the classic Korg M1 organ sound, a universal signal to party. Ushering in the flip, the more tightly-wound percussion of 'Neighbourhood' maintains Kassim's driving groove, while dancehall samples and dub influences expand the established Retromigration sound into new spaces. Finally, 'Go 2 Nowhere' completes the dance, masterfully blending pillowy breakdowns and wistful keys with the EP's most urgent groove. For ONO006 we welcome born ‘n’ based Palermo producer, DJ, record shop owner and label head Riccardo Schirò to the ever evolving ONO roster. The Sicilian madman plates a killer exxxtended single, Raga Della Sera, complete with a royal remix treatment from downright hero DJ Sotofett.

Riccardo’s Raga Della Sera is a ritualistic summoning of the 303s and 808s of the past, calling on the sounds of old to conjure up a thrilling 11-minute freakout. Signor Schirò combines an acid-inflected proto-trance and a certain Gregorian Giallo flavour to bring forth one truly unique piece of music. Bellissimo!

On the flip, DJ Sotofett reshapes Raga Della Sera with a signature 909 dub, tried and tested at his preferred romping grounds, Globus. The maestro contorts, unravels and reassembles the mystical original into a club demon – ferociously dance-direct and itching to possess heads around the world.

Riccardo has been producing and releasing music on his excellent Gravity Graffiti imprint since 2019, with more than 20 records under his belt he is a hard working and brilliant musician and label curator in our humble opinion. We are proud to be welcoming him to the family and have this brilliant record as a part of the ONO arsenal.

Kirk Degiorgio’s influence on electronic music cannot be overstated, having been responsible for producing some of the most emotive and soulful machine music dating right back to the early 90’s. As a leading figure in UK techno his As One, Elegy and Future/Past output on labels such as B12, R&S and his own Applied Rhythmic Technology (A.R.T.) have rightly become revered classics and helped shape ambient techno and what would come to be known as IDM/Future Electronica. His connection with Cyphon co-founder Jamie Odell also dates back to the turn of the millennium when Kirk invited Jamie to play keys on his 21st Century Soul LP released on Ubiquity and subsequently releasing an EP together under the name Super Aloof on Exceptional.

As the first record in Feral's 'Climbing Himalaya'-series reached the summit, we now slowly start to descend along the slopes passed shimmering lakes and enchanted forests. Part II comprises four dense ambient deep techno cuts infused with tribal influences and the inimitable dubby sound of Feral.

Part 1 & 2 has so far received early support from many prominent deep techno producers such as Claudio PRC, Deepbass, Etapp Kyle, Giorgio Gigli, Kwartz, Ness & Svreca to name a few.

Ismael Pinkler lives in Buenos Aires. Belly Dance Services head Nick Hanzo in Vienna. Turns out the exact midpoint between the two is somewhere in open ocean. So they abandoned the plan to meet on Earth at all, and met on planet 126 in outer space.

It turned out to be a strange, hospitable little world — spinning at its own pulse, 126 beats per minute, changing landscape every few kilometers, as if it couldn't decide what kind of planet it wanted to be either. Ismael and Nick wandered it together, letting each new terrain talk them into a different song, until ten tracks had quietly assembled themselves. What they brought back drifts somewhere between shoegaze, techno, ambient, trippy tribal house and pop — grounded and gravitational, emotional and mental, to put it in terms Earthlings might understand.

Now, speaking seriously: Ismael and Nick built Planet 126 by passing sounds and ideas back and forth across the ocean, night after night, for eight months. The entire process — composition, vocal recording, production and mixing — took just eight months, a dream scenario for any electronic musician. The collaboration stayed positive, proactive and fresh throughout, letting the project move forward effortlessly. All tracks were written and produced by both musicians together; Nick wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals, Ismael handled the mix. No samples, no references — just two people building a world from scratch.

Planet 126 also marks a milestone for Belly Dance Services: the label's 30th release, and likely its last. BDS began with BDS001, a vinyl EP by label founders Hanzo & Yaman, and has been solely helmed by Nick Hanzo for the past five years. Now it comes full circle — laid to rest with a big bang: a double vinyl gatefold album co-produced by Ismael Pinkler and label head Nick Hanzo.

Ten years after defining the early sound of his own label, Berlin-based electronic explorer Cosmin TRG revisits a cornerstone of his discography. In Your Body (Twentysix Mix) sees the Romanian-born producer breathe new life into the 2016 underground anthem that helped cement the Sportiv label's reputation for high-end, functional techno.

This updated iteration retains the propulsive, hypnotic spirit of the original while sharpening the edges for a contemporary club environment. The package is rounded out by the driving, industrial-tinged cuts "Erodat" and "Iradiat," plus an exclusive digital remix by mysterious newcomers TRYL. Delivered as a classic hand-stamped white label, this release continues the Sportiv tradition of marrying stripped-back, high-impact club aesthetics with meticulous sound design.

NYC’s Kanyon debuts his new label “Solitary Works” with an EP paying homage to the old-school. A1-B1: 3 raw, jacking techno tracks relay Kanyon’s vision of classic loop techno revival. On B2, Kanyon flexes his live production madness showcasing an electro track which is sure to convert the non-believers.

Random Factor's 'On The Air' EP is a hugely sought-after classic by those who know. It came on Ralph Lawson's ever-reliable 20/20 Vision and now, as it turns 25 years old, he has decided it is the right time to get it remastered and reissued. 'On The Air' is first up on this fine EP from Carl Finlow and it has serene synths that bring to mind Detroit techno soul over pulsing bass and slick drums. 'Lockdown' has a raw vocoder vocal over punchy drums and twitchy synth stabs and 'Undercurrent' is another weapon that has more than withstood the test of time as it bumps along on funky drums and is overlaid with more playful synth patterns. 'Disconnect' is a crunchy and 8-bit closer with pixelated synths and screwy acid lines. Superb.

Berlin-based friends and cult DJs and producers Mor Elian and Gramrcy hook up here for A-Lo, a new collaborative project that comes after more than a decade in the game. Both have their own distinct approaches but fuse them here into "a fluid, hybrid system of production." 'Marzelvane' opens with drums that move you while also suspending you in the moment on shimming bass. 'Side Fumble' is glitchy, minimal electronic music with weighty bass buried way down low. There is a more electro-leaning kinetic energy to 'Tremie' as well as plenty of hi-fidelity details, while 'Lotus Deltoid' shuts down with loose jazzy cymbals and slow, dusty broken beats for a more abstract trip.

Recently hailed by The Guardian as "British techno's great survivor," Nigeria-born, UK-based Ibrahim Alfa Jnr continues with the fine form shown on his recent Infinite Black Inside LP with this first EP on his newly minted label Infinite Black Audio. The music was made after the end of a time of bad health, which means there is a feeling of both relief and reflection here. The nameless tracks are all overtly technological in their DNA - spanned synths warp around mechanical kicks on the opener as detuned jazz keys tumble through the mix. ''Track 2' floats on skittish breakbeats, there's moody downtempo on 'Track 4' melodically-inspired hope on 'Track 6.' An adventurous and rewarding EP.

Rotterdam Electronix continues their journey in the realm of Electro teaming up with profound producer and city inhabitant Versalife. The Crack City EP contains four versatile Electro tracks with each a distinct mood that covers the different elements of the harbour city in presents times. hard, rough to playful and joyful. inspired by the likes of E.R.P. and Ectomorph, and for lovers of Der Zyklus and DJ Stingray.

Waage has long been an established force in the dub techno community, and he is no stranger to working with Quantal. This outing on the don of dub techno labels features four tracks that strike the signature mix of meditation and dancefloor tool. 'WM13' is a wide-open underwater dub with a slow-motion rhythm, 'W14' has more hunched over drums and plenty of open space littered with delicate FX and textures, then 'W15' glides on silky drum loops that could play for days and never get annoying. The closer is the most serene and sublime of the lot, with lovely smeared chords drawn out across the frictionless drums.

Behind the project is Rafael Marín Hernández, better known as Rapha Mundi, a Spanish DJ, producer, and cultural promoter with over fifteen years of experience. Alongside his productions, he has played an active role in strengthening his local underground scene through event organization, collaborations with platforms such as DLC Kultur and Radio Relativa, and the recent co-founding of Buenobueno Discos.

Balvanera is the project of Agustina Vizcarra and Lucas Palavecino from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Since 2016, the duo has been building a sonic narrative that moves between the corporeal and the spectral, exploring waves and minimal synth as well as more intense and rhythmic directions closer to Body music, all while sharing the stage with artists such as Clan of Xymox, Boy Harsher, Die Selektion, Kontravoid, NNHMN and Ashcode.

New album Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje arrives as an attempt to push expression to the limit, focused on language and sound as expressive forms.
With all tracks sung in Spanish, the album is a declaration of identity and at the same time an exercise with Spanish itself: how to play with a language that sometimes feels baroque and turn it into something stark while retaining its richness. Musically direct, the album occasionally returns to some minimalism reminiscent of the band’s early releases while preserving the intensity and club-oriented feel of their later work. At times intensifying in speed, the record brings the energy of their live performances to visibility, while other tracks feel like an unsettlingly dreamlike atmosphere. The title – meaning Until Touching the Empty Bottom of Language – borrowed from a fragment of Arturo Carrera’s poem Escrito con un nictógrafo, offers a clue to Balvanera’s nocturnal sensibility: those thoughts and images that can only emerge in the sleepless hours of the night, when they reach their most revealing edge.

Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguajen explores death as something hidden within language while allowing each track to find its own form rather than adhering to genre conventions.

The third chapter of The Third Room's curator-led series is shaped by Verraco, one of the key voices behind a new generation of artists reshaping contemporary club music. Through his productions, DJ sets and his work with TraTraTrax, he has helped define a sound where hybrid forms, rhythmic experimentation and cross-cultural influences are pushing the genre into new territory. Structured across two distinct sides, the release draws a clear connection between past and present. The A-side leans into a deeper, more classic space, while the B-side moves towards a more forward-facing, hybrid sound. It opens with Libration (Stone Version) by Substance & Vainqueur, a revisiting of their landmark 2007 release, a track that helped define the language of Dub Techno as it is understood today. Reduced, deep and spatially precise, it established a blueprint for how rhythm, delay and tone could function together. It's presence here acts less as a nod to the past and more as a reminder of a foundation that continues to shape the genre. Skee Mask's Clear Sky 909 continues this thread, softening the edges without losing depth. Warm, enveloping textures and fluid movement give the track a sense of openness, balancing clarity with emotional weight. The B-side shifts perspective. On Untitled (Teamgeist Mix), Verraco, joined by Tils, delivers the record's defining moment - a dense, intricately designed piece built on a driving low-end and evolving rhythmic patterns. Elements from Techno, Bass and Leftfield House converge into a detailed, forward-moving structure that actively bridges cultural contexts. It results in a form of dance music shaped by technical precision, but drive.n by a clear sense of intent, marking a distinct expression of Verraco's current sound. Untitled by 1morning introduces a rolling, tribal-infused groove with a strong sense of depth, while PatumPa by Regal86 closes the record with a bright, loop-driven energy that leans into pure motion. Across both sides, the release moves between reference and progression. Rather than separating old and new, Verraco connects them - tracing a line from foundational Dub Techno to a more fluid, contemporary club language. Techno pioneer Thomas Schumacher celebrates 25 years of his groundbreaking track "When I Rock” with a stunning remix by trailblazing DJ and producer talent. A.D.H.S.In 1997 Thomas Schumacher broke new ground with the release of "When I Rock," a track that defied genre boundaries and captivated listeners across the globe.

With its unprecedented blend of raw Hip Hop energy, infectious Rap vocals and relentlessly driving Techno rhythms, "When I Rock" marked a watershed moment in electronic music history. By infusing the track with his signature touch, A.D.H.S. maintains the essence of the original while seamlessly integrating contemporary sounds and production techniques. The result is a remix that captures the essence of the past while propelling it into the present.

Following the success of the first volume, "BOY Records - Timeless Technology 2 (1989-1993)" delves even deeper into the catalogue of one of Germany's most influential independent techno labels.

While the first volume focused primarily on the label's formative years and its pioneering tekkno traxx, this second chapter explores a broader spectrum of the BOY Records sound. Alongside overlooked classics from the 1989-1991 period, it extends the scope up to 1993, years in which the label embraced the rapidly evolving electronic music landscape.

As the sound matured, the raw energy of early German techno began to merge with harder techno rhythms, acid-infused productions, and the first waves of European trance. Featuring 24 carefully selected tracks, many of them long-forgotten gems, "Timeless Technology 2" captures both the diversity and forward-thinking spirit that made BOY Records a key player during the golden age of underground dance music, while documenting the label's continued evolution and lasting contribution to the scene.

This deluxe 4LP set is housed in a reverse-board printed gatefold sleeve and includes one BOY Records logo sticker.
