To mark their 20 years anniversary of relentlessly playing shows around the globe and releasing dozens of records, King Salami & the Cumberland Three have dug deep into their extensive catalogue to select 16 of their most killer tracks. It makes for a fun-packed album which contains wacky classics such as `The Pulpo Dance', `Pineapple Mama', `Shake it Wild' and `Do the Wurst, alongside their lesser-known instrumental `Itch!' that recently featured on the Dreamies cat food TV ad.

You blink; eyes crusty. Last night went a little too late again, and as you stumble towards the kitchen you stare at the record player like it’s a cup of coffee. The rest of your life can wait. You stare at the record again and hit the lever and the needle falls.

First up: Gastón Cabrera’s Inhumano, a little relentless and unforgiving, like being thrown in the back of an Aston Martin and driven away. The groove builds to a haunting peak, and you want more. Then the record blurs into Alfalfa’s La Fiebre, which tickles your ears with eerie bells, and builds from bass fundamentals into something more driving. It’s hopeful, but makes you work for it – wading through acid; climbing the hill.

Everything stops. Fuck it. You flip the record, and Marcos Coya’s The Underdog starts off easy, but slips you down a dark path to a pool of churning, hypnotic synths. There’s a strange moment of quiet before the final track. vault. and Isaac Elejalde close with authority on Just Melt: a raw and writhing finale spiked with voices and sirens that will leave you out of breath, somewhere else.

High-definition world building collides with incisive physical urgency around 170 BPM as Pianeti Sintetici makes his first appearance on Samurai Music. Davide Perrone's vivid production style found a more downtempo outlet on last year's release for Samurai sub label Saibai, but he pivots naturally towards the weightier presence of the Exoverse with a richly rendered suite of sonic systems teeming with life and pockmarked with mystery. The spacious drums that lead on 'Agilus' have an acoustic, in-the-room quality that instantly grounds the track before the myriad layers of synthesis start spiralling skywards, pitting twinkling pads against rapid, undulating acid wielded with assured control. By way of contrast 'Mimoide' burrows downwards, using needlepoint marks to puncture the brooding beds of sound looming in the middle distance. At the same time, Perrone weaves lithe, rubbery shapes across the foreground of the mix for a three-dimensional expression you can almost reach out and touch. Opening up a B side tipped towards a mellower pace, 'Living Plasma' leans into a 4/4 meditation as a vessel for another distinctive tapestry of modulating sound design from Perrone's seemingly infinite sonic resources. 'Exoverse' edges towards a more melodic standpoint with its teased flutters of arpeggio that sneak in and out of the mix and a harmonic dimension to the atmospheric layers that shape out the size of the track. Across all four pieces, the sheer detail at play in the Pianeti Sintetici universe is mind-boggling. By rights it should be a busy, stress-inducing experience, but Perrone's gift lies in the ability to take a macro view on these incredibly complex creations, zooming out by boiling the parts down into a symbiotic whole that feels patient and considered. The reward for the listener comes from taking the time to zoom in and marvel at every micro detail writhing across the surface.

Alex Webster / Founding Member & Bassist: "With 'Vile', the big story was that it was our first album with George Fisher," he says. "That was the big thing, really — how was the album going to do? And, how are people going to like George and the band, and everything else? That was the story of that album — making the transition from Chris [Barnes] to George. It ended up charting on the Billboard Top 200. That was our first appearance on that chart. So, we were very happy about that as you might imagine. It was a big deal for a death metal band. we were excited and eager to see how people would react to George, and it was overwhelmingly positive."

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS in conspiracy with DE PANKRAKER RECORDS is proud to present SHEWOLFF’s highly anticipated debut mini-album, We’re All Gonna Fukking Die, on CD and 12” vinyl formats. Hailing from Belgium, SHEWOLFF emerged from the underground as a solo-project of K. Von Shewolff, which eventually formed into the solid three-piece band it is today. They find their origins in raw, punk-driven blackness galore, faithfully returning to the old-school spirit of making music by modest and primitive means. A five-song digital-only demo was released in 2023 - songs which contain absolute fury towards the known and long-overdue established order, existential live-or-die sentiment, and a small tribute paid to the old-school believers who came before them. Now, SHEWOLFF blend all that together on the debut mini-album We’re All Gonna Fukking Die.

With six new tracks pushing towards a final and inevitable end, this bleakly titled record is actually invigorating and inspiring: railing against the dying of the light with a paradoxically dark metalpunk sound, familiar in its stomping swagger but exuding cantankerous charisma that’s all their own. The aesthetic signposts are planted firmly in the ground – think Hellhammer, pre-Viking Bathory, Darkthrone’s record-nerd era, early Midnight, the almighty Venom, or even labelmates like KARLOFF, HELLCRASH, and Germany’s LUCIFUGE – but SHEWOLFF manage to stir some diabolical little twists into the bubbling brew, with K. Von Shewolff’s vocals in particular imparting a femininity that’s fierce, frightening, and fucking going for the throat.

German DJ/producer Butch returns to Rekids with the ‘Official Bump Call’ EP 22nd May 2026. It marks his first release on the label since 2011’s ‘Raw Beats’ two-tracker, followed by a 2018 appearance remixing Basement Jaxx’s ‘Good Luck’. This time, Snatch! Records boss Riva Starr joins for a remix fresh off the back of his ‘Shine A Light’ EP on Radio Slave’s main imprint.

Riva Starr is an equally influential producer who heads up the Snatch! label and has been turning out essential House sounds for many years. His remix beefs up the drums while keeping the slow-burning vocal heat front and center, creating a devastatingly deep yet driving sound.
'Foxtrot Uniform' is another tasteful jumble of soul, funk, and gospel motifs with a lived-in house groove that's instinctive and real. Emotions bubble up but never boil over as the tension builds, culminating in an utter dance-floor release when the diva's vocal erupts. It's a masterclass in control and release.

Art teacher by day and musician by night, Aleksandar Ordev is a veteran of the Macedonian electronic scene, experimenting with DIY electronics and sound design since the early '90s. Jester is his latest release, stitched together under the glow of a disco ball in his home studio on Maksim Gorki Street in Skopje. With modular synths tangled into a chaotic harmony of obscure archives, the deep internet void, vintage pop, and Balkan pathos, he reshapes memory and sound into something strangely moving. Equal parts serious research and inside joke, this is a sonic journey at its most personal and peculiar.

Studiomaster Digipack Vol. 2 sees Marco Passarani back with another serving of unique club sounds straight from Rome. Following the vibe of the first volume,
this new edition delivers his unmistakable blend of house pressure and pure techno, featuring two brand new gems: “Hypercuatro” and “Locked In A Trance.” Both are wired for late hours and low ceilings, where acid grooves meet hypnotic drum programming and forward leaning intent.
Completing the set are three remastered tracks from his Bandcamp vault, making their first appearance on vinyl: Analog Fingerprints (“Unusual Behaviour”, “Motion 5”) and PSS2099 (“Kir’Shara”). Mutual Rytm welcomes new school tastemakers Klint and Hemka to sub-label Versus for imprint’s second drop. SHDW’s Mutual Rytm welcomes back two standout label alumnus for the second edition of Versus, a newly-launched conceptual sub-label focused around two artists whose sound works individually and in unity. Hemka made an impressive and well-received debut with her full solo EP back in 2025, while Klint appeared on ‘Federation of Rytm IV’. Both artists hail from France, and have crafted a well-earned reputation for their own distinctive approaches to sound design - pairing locked in grooves with cosmic synth escapes. Across the EP, each artist delivers three individual takes on techno to make for an essential collection of high-end cuts, exploring the label’s ethos of creative symbiosis between two artists on one shared release. Klint’s tracks lean towards minimal yet highly effective, dance floor-focused DJ tools, starting with the lithe, stripped back menace of ‘Prism’, before the sparse eeriness of ‘Dobermann’ keeps you looking over your shoulder while remaining trapped in the groove. Third cut ‘Romance’ is more bold and muscular, with contoured drums and icy pads ramping up the tension and energy. Hemka then dives deeper into a hypnotic and anthemic direction while introducing her own voice into the mix. ‘Leave It’ is textured, percussive deep techno with shadowy whispers, while ‘Breathe’ has a dark, grinning undercurrent and scintillating snares fluttering over the drums. ‘Mindness’ then pairs spoken word atmospherics with taught drum pressure and an ethereal backlit glow. In addition, Klint's digital only cuts ‘1112’ and ‘Blue’ marry minimal synths with meticulously defined drums that hit hard, while Hemka's ‘Push’ is an anxious percussive trip, contrasting with the introspective emotional core of ‘Live To Tell’.

Across two tracks, the pair favor reduc4on over spectacle: taut beats, disciplined arrangements, and a strong sense of space, with the kind of detail that makes simple ideas hit with pure geyser force. While one side draws on 4ghtly coiled rhythms and freaky nocturnal tension, the flip sees the formula in its straightest, driest and most relentless form. Internationally acclaimed producer and DJ Tripmastaz is proud to announce the launch of his sublabel, Respect The Craft.Legacy, a heartfelt tribute to his early creative roots. Marking a significant milestone in his career, the first release on the new sublabel revisits and completes his unreleased projects from the early 2000s.

This series encapsulates an era of raw creativity and innovation, showcasing tracks that were originally started between 2000 and 2004. Until now, these works have remained unfinished and unheard—hidden gems from Tripmastaz’s studio archives. Through the new label, the producer has brought these ideas to life, meticulously completing each track while staying true to the essence of the time they were created.

The series bridges the past and present, blending the raw energy of the early 2000s with today’s refined production techniques. The debut release drops soon, promising a timeless tech & deep underground sound.

“This is a closure for me—an opportunity to honor my creative journey and give these tracks the life they deserve,” Tripmastaz explains. “The early 2000s were a formative period for me as an artist, and these records embody the passion and ideas that shaped my path. Completing and releasing them now feels like a full-circle moment.”

Mark Reeve starts 2026 in prime form with ‘Body Drops’, a quick-fire follow-up to his recent A-Sides contribution ‘My Mind’.The veteran artist has an inimitable touch in the studio going back over 15 years and can always be relied upon to deliver high-impact techno creations. Tracks such as ‘Run Back’, ‘Distance’ and his collaboration with Adam Beyer ‘Nine of You’ make thrilling reference points.‘Body Drops’ found its way onto Drumcode via Bart Skils. “Bart and I have a very good musical understanding and we really respect eachother. So, when he said I think this would fit to Drumcode, I was like ok let me send it. Adam came back to me with a massive yes, and it went from there.”He continues: “I can see that a new peak-time sound is evolving. Very modern and groovy sounding, which is exactly what I like. I guess all the other tracks on Drumcode that have come out recently got me very inspired.”The track is a gem. Driven by an otherworldly stomping riff, it immediately strikes you with its unique sonic character. Huge without being banging, watch this fit a variety of high-impact moments.‘Feed My Fire’ is a rolling big-bodied track that sees elements of prog,techno, psy and silky chords combine for a chugging dancefloor cut.“This is a personal favourite of mine simply because it’s so groovy andfits more intimate sessions. Finally, rounding off the release is Austin Millz an artist who has established himself as a genre-bending icon. Having performed with artists like Quincy Jones and Beyonce, his music is a deeply textured fusion of soul and dance-floor euphoria. In discotheques and dark rooms across Europe, Boys’ Shorts have earned the trust of the queer and wider clubbing communities as generous stewards of a timeless sound that, like themselves, never stops moving forward. The duo of Vangelis and Tareq initially met at an underground club in their native Greece. Sensing a rare sonic connection, the pair became friends, forming Boys’ Shorts to meet again and again, travelling from their adopted cities of Thessaloniki and London to appear as far afield as Berlin’s Panorama Bar and New York’s Le Bain, as well as supporting Goldfrapp and Hot Chip on tour. Their motivation? In their own words, “we make people dance!”

Following years of gradual, thoughtful studio sessions, and EP releases on tastemaking electronic labels including Phantasy Sound and Live At Robert Johnson, Boys’ Shorts establish their own imprint, ALL SORTS, in order to deliver a fantastically ambitious debut album, ‘What Does It Take To Make These Men Happy?’

The LP opens with the grandiose, cosmic vista of ‘The Space Between Us’, a classic passage of strings and synthesis, before the shared Boys’ Shorts vision falls back to earthier territory with deep groove of ‘Let’s Fall In Love’, mixing universal sentiment with a patient vision of human potential and the voice of Greek electronic pioneer, K.BHTA. ‘Come’ aligns with NYC’s Michael Cignarale, offering an excitable invitation to the mind and body sculpted by the way of a throbbing, warehouse-sized statement of nineties house sensuality. Channeling heroes Lowe and Tennant at their most introspective, ‘Short Life’ maintains the dance, yet dares to ask, “what if the parties aren’t enough anymore… Can you ask for something more?”

Out of the pet shop and straight into the strobe lights, ‘Disco Romantica’ makes true on the promise of its title, a lovelorn monologue giving way and slipping into rave stabs and whirring synthesis that looks forward to a memorable, emotionally-charged night ahead. Underpinning this feeling of anticipation, ‘Going Out Hoping To See You’ introduces the voice of Justin Strauss to Boys’ Shorts' musical world. A certified icon of club culture, spinning from The Mudd Club to modern day DJ booths, Strauss’s generation spanning experience of nightlife leans into the fundamentals of human connection and the pleasure of musical discovery, wrapped in irresistible chug.

Another transformative figure in club music, Fischerspooner’s own Casey Spooner dips into French for the Motorik cyber sleaze of ‘MECANIMAUX’, their own vocals pitching up and down with playful EBM abandon. ‘Montage’ offers a different kind of composition, conjuring an ecstatic club banger that finds inspiration in nineties indie rock motifs alongside the rave scene, while ‘Run’ promises to blow out sound systems before its weighty electro bassline succumbs to waves of glistening synths.

Such bombast into beauty perfectly sets up the record’s blissful conclusion; ‘The Stars Are Out For You’ is electro-pop so delicate as to heal aching feet (and mend broken hearts), while offering the final tender moments of the album as a form of tribute on ‘Untitled (For Mitsi)’. It’s a thoughtful ending to a thrilling trip through a shared passion for electronic and pop music in all its glorious potential. What does it take to make these men happy? It’s a pleasure to find out.

Two jewels in the crown of the soulful electronic music scene in NYC unite for a spellbinding EP on Rhythm Section International. ”Full Circle” is a brand new body of work from Musclecars & Toribio.

To call this 12” simply epic would almost be doing it a disservice. The breadth of musicality and execution of ideas contained across 3 compositions is nothing short of miraculous. I use the word composition intentionally: these are not merely tracks - these are 3 movements making up a concerto - with a dub thrown in for good measure!

The record kicks off with a soulful house behemoth, “ That’s My Story” featuring NJ legend Roland Clark on vocals giving sweet sweet testimony. In many ways, this track feels like a coming together of the trios influences. The lyrics contextualise it, giving it this intimate, confessional feel. The latin drums shuffling amidst the 909 kick drive it forward and the organ swimming freely amongst it all takes us to church. It’s a timeless track - paying homage to the various New York traditions laid down by Louis Vega, Timmy Regisford, Joaquin Claussell , Ron Trent et al - all heroes and collaborators of the composers who - with this effort - have surely now earned their place in the pantheon of American Soul Music.

Be Honest’ maintains the confessional tone with the lyrics but takes things right back down in terms of tempo. Is it a love song, an ultimatum or a cry for help? Whichever way you interpret it, this track is Toribio’s time to shine as a lead vocalist and he hits all the notes, leaving not a dry eye in the house. This is a delicate tour de force, delivered with such raw emotion and vulnerability it allows the instrumentation takes a back seat - just a gentle groove, swelling strings and some unresolved chords are all that’s required to transform us to the main character of this story. We’re left hanging, and it’s oh so relatable.

Agua De Florida serves as an uplifting, fast paced finale to the concerto and this one’s all about the trumpet - masterfully performed by Melbourne born, London based virtuoso Audrey Powne. If Herb Alpert was making house music - I imagine this is what it would sound like. Throbbing bass and noodling synths join the melee and crank the joy up to 11. If the EP is a story arc over 3 tracks, then we’re definitely not left hanging with this one. All is resolved, things are moving onwards and upwards and the circle is complete.

After some time, we are back with a new release. This one moves slightly away from our usual sound to make room for a brand-new project by two outstanding artists. Please welcome to the crew the legendary San Proper together with the excellent Angelo D’Onorio. Joining forces under the name SANGELO DIPROPRIO, they deliver three vibrant house tracks designed with the dancefloor in mind. Fresh grooves, playful energy, and unmistakable personality make this EP a strong addition to the catalogue. A meeting of two distinctive styles that results in a dynamic and highly effective club release.
