Theo Parrish has a catalogue that is pretty much classic from front to back, but if we were pushed to name a standout, 'Solitary Flight' might just be it. The shamanic 2002 sound has everything that makes the Sound Signature boss's music so great: drums that are wonderfully undercooked and live-sounding. Everything is frayed and imperfect, though the sense of lush escape that comes from the swimming strings brings to mind cruising down the Amalfi coast with the top down. Island disco-soul... modern soul... tropical boogie... plus killer break-beats: Recorded in the Bahamas in 1980, Portia’’s ‘I Wanna Thank You’ Club Mix by Sean P. is exclusive to this single. Two versions, vocal and Instrumental both mixed from the original multi-track session tape. Sung by vocalist Portia and backed by Naussau’s High Voltage Band, led by guitarist and producer Patrick Carey of 5th Degree.

Sophisticado Recordings label head Vick Lavender hails from Chicago and is doing fine work to continue the city's house legacy. Back in January, he dropped the superb Time Traveler album and is now back with a cheeky one-sided 12" on limited white vinyl that draws on some mad classic sounds, all worked up into a super funk and jazzy jam that's layered up with Rhodes jams, splashy cymbals, rubbery and rolling baselines and organic percussion. It's the sort of steamy session to get cosy backrooms really heated up and boiling over. Another standout from Lavender.

Althought we can consider 'Golden Dream' the Invisible Limits main hit, for many Natalies is the preferred so it deserved a re-issue. This release includes three new exclusives previously on released tracks. Monty & Julio Posadas released two techno versions for Natalie and Golden Dreams that deserved to be on vinyl for techno vinil lovers. The release is complete with the Ultimo Destino Remix, by Salva Aleixandre (key artist on Megabeat)
