VELOVR are back to MCM. Yes, VELOVR duo by Elchk and David Reina come back for this amazing remix. Grey Techno Psycho-Techno We don't know how define their own genre but sure they come from hell (#joke). They are unique, they are addictive.

Die im Mai letzten Jahres erschienene - Brief Embrace EP von Aaron Ahrends blieb nicht ohne Folgen. Michaela Dippel besser bekannt als Ada (Pampa) hatte sich sofort in - Newborn verliebt und begann einen Remix zu entwickeln. Dies ging mit der Aufnahme einige Larven einher, die sich unter ihrer Aufsicht verpuppten und letzten Endes als Schmetterlinge nun wieder in die Freiheit entlassen wurden. Der Song ist ein unglaublicher Ohrwurm und versüßte uns so einige Grillparties im letzten Sommer.

Die wunderbare Band Forgotten Birds (Karaoke Kalk) haben sich eigentlich im letzten Jahr erst mal von der Bühne verabschiedet. Dass eine Band überhaupt eine Remixanfrage annimmt, ist ja schon ungewöhnlich genug. Ihr erster und vielleicht sogar letzter Remix entstand spontan aus einer Studiosession. Umso mehr freuen wir uns auf ihr musikalisches - Abschiedsgeschenk !

Dave DK (Kompakt/ Pampa) spielte die EP öfters und verliebte sich in - Casiotone 401 , sodass er sich für seine Sets einen DJ-freundlichen Edit baute, welcher dieses Release mehr als rund macht.

The follow-up to the great Holla EP by Johannes Brecht Henrik Schwarz's Sunday Music imprint. In the meantime labels like Mule Musiq and Boso succesfully released their own Brecht tracks and extended the audience worldwide. In My Time Of Dyin' continues the deep, musically output of Henrik Schwarz's Sunday Music label in the best way possible. Very recent, reflecting jazz, classical minimal music into electronic music. Deep trippy music with a strong swing on the A-side. Cleverly written music patterns with a hypnotic vibe. Side B features a live jazz version in 6/8 signature on piano and drums (drummer of german popstar Max Herre). Johannes Brecht is by the way the classical music arranger on Henrik Schwarz upcoming full orchestra album, coming in April 2015. When Henrik Schwarz heard the music from Johannes Brecht he knew now was the time to reactivate his label SUNDAY-MUSIC again that hasn't released a record in quite a while now. Johannes is a wonderful musician that plays bass and keyboards and also writes music for orchestra. When a classically trained musician looks into electronic music and manages to bring together the best of both worlds the result can be very exciting.

Debut Album, absoluter Kultstatus im Doom Metal, mit ehemaligen Mitgliedern von Tiamat, Therion _

SORCERER wurden 1988 im schwedischen Stockholm gegründet, lösten sich aber vier Jahre später nach zwei Demos auf. Diese gelten als wahre Klassiker des Doom Metal und erschienen 1995 auch auf CD. 2010 kehrte die Band fürs Hammer of Doom Festival in Deutschland zurück, und ein Jahr später spielte sie auch auf dem Up The Hammers Festival in Athen. Beide Shows wurden äußerst begeistert gefeiert, und der Gedanke reifte, ein neues Album in Angriff zu nehmen. Letztlich dauerte es zwei Jahre, um es zu schreiben, zu arrangieren und aufzunehmen, doch das Ergebnis ist nichts weniger als reiner, Heavy Epic Doom Metal. Die Arbeit alle Teile zusammenzufügen und zum Mixen wie Mastern vorzubereiten, oblag Schlagzeuger Robert Iversen, der auch ein bewanderter Tontechniker ist und sozusagen als Spinne im Aufnahmenetz fungierte. Die Scheibe wurde von Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend) gemastert. Mit jahrelanger Profierfahrung und erstklassigen Fähigkeiten an ihren Instrumenten sind die Mitglieder von SORCERER des 21. Jahrhunderts entschlossen noch sehr, sehr lange epischen Doom Metal zu bieten – auf Platte wie auf den Brettern der Welt!

m 17. März ist es soweit: Nach ihrem Debüt-Album, dem Chartstürmer Megalitic Symphony, stellen AWOLNATION ihr mit Spannung erwartetes neues Studioalbum mit dem Titel Run (Red Bull Records) vor. RUN wurde vom musikalischen Architekten Aaron Bruno verfasst, gespielt und produziert und im hügeligen Hinterland von Malibu in Kalifornien aufgenommen. Das neue Album ist der Höhepunkt von Brunos Erfahrungen nach dem Durchbuch ihres Debüt-Albums Megalithic Symphony. Das Endergebnis ist ein feinst abgestimmtes musikalisches Meisterwerk, das sich manchmal - und urplötzlich - expansiv atmosphärisch, übermutig, ernst und verfeinert gibt und von Momenten des typischen aggressiven Unbehagen punktiert ist. Released in September 1969 Then Play On was the band's third studio album and their first release with Reprise Records. It was the first to feature Danny Kirwan and would become their last with Peter Green.

After 14 years working with a huge spectrum of D&B greats, London based Irishman Cian McCann has long since established his place in the scene. From his early days in Dublin with the Bassbin label to working with the likes of Calibre, 4 Hero, Klute, Alix Perez, Rockwell and Noisia, he has never stood still. 2008's Cheap Shots LP for Total Science's CIA Records was a high point, with lead track Walk Away bringing vocalist Steo to the worlds attention. Also a noted remixer, he has retouched artists as diverse as Dillinja, Slam, Rolo from Faithless, Sabre, Lemon D and Lenny Fontana. Zero T's discography shows the diversity that his DJ sets have always shown, ranging from full vocal smoothness to darker, more technical styles. You are as likely to find his music on labels like Subtitles and Shogun as on Soul:r or Signature. 2010 saw two milestones reached; the Launch of Footprints, Zero T's own label, and compiling and mixing FabricLive052 for the esteemed London venue. After a short period away from the scene, 2014 sees the return of Zero T as a producer and DJ. Watch out for his collaboration with long-time cohort Beta 2 coming on Metalheadz Platinum soon and a follow up EP to the Roxy Music EP on Dispatch Recordings. Thirteenth Step is the second studio album by A Perfect Circle. The American Rock supergroup formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan.

Originally released in 2003, Thirteenth Step sold well, charting at the number 2 position on the Billboard 200 in its premiere week and staying on the charts for 78 weeks. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA. Following the release of the album, the band toured throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Three singles were released from the album, "Weak and Powerless", which topped both the Mainstream Rock Tracks and Modern Rock Tracks, followed by "The Outsider" and "Blue", which also charted on the respective charts.

Good morning children, welcome to school ! What might be known from "Ipoly Mate 003", got a very different context here in the title track. Heavy club food, flavoured by Alec Troniq's love for the energy of the early 90s. "The Chain" was originally induced by Old Man Trouble and then impulsively got the blues by Alec Troniq. It has a special place in their hearts and continues Alec's series of crossover-collaborations in 2014.

Matt Stars long experience in production combined with the freshness of the very talented Marvin resulted in this deep and groovy track driven by some nice drums and a fat bassline. Dark Athmospheres meets broken beat dubbish minimalism is the best way to describe it.

Dragosh Remix:

Dragosh's interpretation of - In the Trees' is a more percussion orientated track wich will put a lot of smiles on the faces of dancers. Crispy, rhytmic and simply good.

"True", one of Painbringers most populair track, has been reconstructed and remastered especially for this release. 'This is real hardcore!' as stated by the dominating vocal in this powerhouse track.
Taken from an earlier Mokum Records release is "The Invader", an uptempo junglist flavoured hardcore track put on this record as a special bonus. "Lost In Space" is an experimental fusion between psy-trance and hardcore, which takes you on a trip into the dark space and back again. Last but not least; Grimlock has remixed "True" as a modern artcore styled track, 180BPM galore!

Optimo Music is usually known as a 12" label, but occasionally something rare and dangerous comes our way that compels us to release a full length album...

It's not exactly a dance album, although there is music you can dance to on it. It's more filmic in nature, with gads of references to wonderful directors like Kubrick and Carpenter that will enthrall a film buff, particularly if they're interested in electronic and dance music. There's a sleazy and unsettling feel to much of the tracks ("Tina Weymouth" is a sleaze-floor monster groove...), but we hope it will intrigue and delight!

The film references are directly relevant as Felizol and The Boy are film directors Yiannis Veslemes and Alexandros Voulgaris, who live in Athens, Greece and have composed music for numerous feature films. They also perform live in house clubs, heavy metal dungeons and hippy-friendly festivals...

They have this to say about their release: "We had a loose concept for this album and we compiled tracks that we've recorded the last 3 years that have to do with the cannibalism. Literally but also as a metaphor for the blessing and the tyranny of paying homage and influenced from music and films (and directors and musicians).

So these are songs about the agony of creating something new and personal when so much information and influences are fused in them."

The three tracks were hypnotic and tailored for clubs. They were played on the radio (BBC1, Le Mouv, France Inter) and also by the best DJs on the electro scene (2manyDjs, Skream, Duke Dumont, Erol Alkan, Surkin, Boys Noize, Daniel Avery...). Boston Bun's new EP, 'We Got Soul", is a great step. Vocals are more important than ever, it's club music with soul! 'We Got Soul' features Bear Who (DJ Sneak's voice) on vocal. It's an anthem-tribute to The Mongoloids, Boston Bun's main influence that adds a contemporary flavour to the special scene. The B-side, 'Time Bomb' (featuring the DJ/singer Piu Piu) is an emotional growing track, between pads and explosion. With such a unique and breakthrough sound, Boston Bun establishes further more among the French producers who really matter.

Among a thousand projects, Para One is back on the dance floor with 'Club", a new album which was not meant to be one, but believe it or not: it's serious stuff! 'The 'Passion' album is the background for this, as I decided to reshape it for my live act, explains Para One. I've rebuilt the tracks entirely, making live versions for festivals and bigger clubs. Then I found myself with a totally different album. It's not a live album. The tracks have been modified and reinterpreted. It's my tribute to Soulwax's 'Night Versions". Subtlety was not really an option, it had to hit kind of hard. The tracks had to sound real in a club situation and people are now meant to dance to them! It's also a 'treasure hunt' kind of record with many references. It sounds like my DJ sets, when I mix many things and styles, old and new, because that's how a club should sound. It's a place where memories belong.' The pop, melancholic and highly danceable 'Passion", was meant to be listened to at home or on quiet dance floors, but 'Club' only retains the melodies and vocal hooks. It smells like sweat, joy and abandoned bodies. Packed with English acid house piano, huge beats, elegiac vocals, references to UK Garage, EDM filtered french touch and house, 'Club' dives into the heart of dance music. It's a 3.0 rave emblem, a daring record to make people dance without selling out.

In the wake of Blocks & Escher's recent outings on Metalheadz, Critical, and Zomby's Cult Music, Narratives present the first solo
excursions on the label from one of its founders, Blocks. Varied, emotive and beautiful, the Séance EP is innately Narratives Music in sound and yet unlike anything the label has delivered previously. The Séance EP fleets between ethereal vocals, forlorn strings and analogue bursts of glassy synths, while drum machines dance with live kits that would be fitting of 90s Mowax records. Bass lines loom heavy throughout, simple and driving rhythms that bed the delicate keys and story telling harmonics above. As immersive as it is succinct, Blocks has created an extended player awash with feeling and juxtaposition; again displaying why Narratives Music has been lauded across electronic music from the likes of Goldie and
Com Truise to Zomby and Rob da Bank. Forming the veritable gem of the collection, is the vocal laden 'Haven', a collaborative piece between Blocks and the hugely talented Jennifer Hall. Live instrumentation of bowed strings and bass provide canvas for the heart wrenching tones of Hall. Doc Scott describes the track as 'Deep, deep blues'. More akin to a personal reflection of the artist than the frenetic speed of a club, more Twin Peaks meets Portishead than dance floor energy; this is music at a Drum & Bass tempo by a producer that doesn't want to be caught in a debate on style or subgenre. In essence it seems to emphasise a recent quote by Blocks, 'Drum and Bass is anything you can get away with'. You Know Who You Were Multi-faceted producer and DJ Ben Westbeech has accomplished something that eludes most artists - after ten years in the industry he successfully stands with 'one foot in the underground, one in the commercial' - and nowhere is this more apparent than on his first release on Aus Music as Breach which see's Ben digging deeper than ever before. After a year of high-power, unshakably catchy chart topping singles ("Jack' and 'Everything You Never Had"), a killer collaboration with Naked Naked cohorts Dark Sky and a well-received DJ-Kicks mix, Breach indulges some of his more underground and experimental tendencies on the 'Artis' EP. Bringing in bits of his past (the exotic, colorful vibe of 'Fatherless' can be detected in the lush atmosphere of 'Artis") along with some sounds newer to the moniker, Breach gets beautifully moody here and will once again keep people guessing as to what's coming next...

Vocal driven electronica, pop sensibilities and a touch of melancholia is a tried and tested recipe of SILENCE MUSIC cuisine. A new release titled My Holy Senses is no exception. This creative venture joins together a renown Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist and composer Vygintas Kisevicius, an up-and-coming singer and songwriter Markas Palubenka and a versatile SILENCE producer Few Nolder. Original acoustic versions come under the name of Kurak, a project which Vygintas started a couple of years ago with a goal of bringing together some of the most talented young Lithuanian singers and songwriters for something new and exciting. And indeed they managed to produce some well worthy musical material generating quite a few waves of interest and success back home. Few Nolder picked out a couple of tracks from an ever-expanding Kurak's repertoire and threw them onto the sweaty dance floor. Included in the package are two DJ friendly adaptations from David Krasemann aka Dave DK and Vidis. My Holy Senses is a short modern day Love story about Acoustics giving an adoring kiss to Electronica in a dim light of a nightclub.

To be released by Black Sun Empire s Blackout imprint, the album celebrates some of the best work of their career to date, underlining their remarkable pedigree and with it, their ability to fuse darker, hard-edged sounds with genuine dance floor mcredibility. Famed for their rugged basslines, steely percussion and huge, driving synth lines, State Of Mind also showcase different sides to their craftsmanship on Eat The Rich, with a number of vocal features taking centre stage.
