Sought after double pack of entrancing 2000s minimal techno from Iranian artist Attila Jahanvash, originally released on Frankfurt's Z - Schallplatten.

Originally released in 2004, Because Of My Dream is a quietly overlooked gem from the early-2000s Dutch underground. Produced by Amsterdam DJ and producer Angelo D’Onorio, a longtime presence in the city’s club circuit including Mazzo, Roxy and Paradiso, the record blends rolling House rhythms with analog synth textures to create a deep, late-night atmosphere.

Though it circulated among a small circle of DJs at the time, the release never reached the wider audience it deserved. Its patient grooves and dreamy progression reflect D’Onorio’s hardware-driven approach to production and the understated emotional pull of Dutch House from that era.

Two decades later, Anacalypto Records brings Because Of My Dream back into circulation, rediscovering and reintroducing this forgotten dancefloor moment for a new generation of DJs, dancers and selectors.

Shakedown’s anthemic 'At Night' has been a firm fixture in record bags since it first landed, built around that unmistakable, hypnotic vocal hook and a groove that's kept dancefloors moving for years.

Now, Spanish electronic music heavyweight Dario Nuñez joins forces with Afro House tastemaker Juany Bravo to breathe new life into this timeless anthem. The remix transforms the iconic vocal hook and instantly recognizable melodies into a high-energy Afro House and tribal-infused club weapon, blending modern production with the infectious spirit that made the original a worldwide phenomenon.
Also included on side A is the new remix by Benin-born, Brooklyn-raised DJ and producer, Amémé. K' Alexi Shelby is a prominent figure in electronic music with a career spanning decades. The cultivation of his massive music catalogue has overflowed into albums and the three labels he heads. It's also led to legendary collaborations with artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Robert Owens, Kenny Dixon, Roy Davis Jr., Joe Smooth, Steve Silke Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Carl Craig, Felix da Housecat, Marshall Jefferson and more. He makes a welcome return to COD3 QR with the jazzy house of opening track, "House Music de Chicago".

Voltaire has built his career through passion and a perfectionist approach to music, creating a richly emotional eclecticism, with inspiration from the pioneers of Detroit to the glorious electro decades of the 2000s and 2010s. Today he's a COD3 QR regular and released his debut album, "Echoes" on the label last year. He leans into the realms of house with a deep techy edge, for new track "Some House".

Finder is the alias of Radial (Jeroen Liebregts), originally from The Netherlands but today residing in Spain. He started mixing records around '98 and in 2002 teamed up with Bas Mooy to started the now legendary label, Audio Assault. He's also released on Token, Perc Trax, Mote-Evolver, Numb, Drumcode, Planet Rhythm, Mord, Will & Ink and MDR, alongside his label, Radial Records. As Finder he goes in a new direction with "Team Dream".

Benny Rodrigues a.k.a. ROD's other moniker, The Lost Souldancer has already seen him drop "No More Voices" and "Life and Death" for the label. In his own words, Benny says: "The Lost Souldancer is about coping with the loss of what once was. Finding comfort in the invisible rather than what can be seen. Disconnect to connect in order to be loved rather than liked." He returns with another emotional journey on "Magnolia".

Producer and manager of Slates Records, Squal G is a French artist who has been passionate about electronic music since the '90s. Initially a DJ, he soon turned to machines and computers. This enabled him to progress with his production and remixes. He never tries to stick to a single style, which, depending on his inspiration, can lead him to be more or less hard, while remaining in the spirit of techno. A popular COD3 QR regular, he's back with the intense techno of "Crackle".

French producer, DJ and live artist, Electric Rescue is world renowned. His productions have been signed on labels like Cocoon, Virgo, Arts, F Communications, COD3 QR, Soma, Sci + Tec, Boys Noize and his own Skrypto¨m. Ahead of his forthcoming artist album (to be released on COD3 QR in October) he closes the vinyl with the electro-tech and wonderfully wonky machine funk of "Internet Was an Illusion".

Phonica unveil the second in a series of three 12" samplers featuring a selection of tracks from their new compilation 'Ten Years Of Phonica'.

Phonica favourite Lo Shea kicks off Sampler number 2 with the ominous 'Home', a bassline-heavy house cut that continues on from his streak of high quality and inventive 12" releases on Seaghdha. Medlar and Red Rack'em join forces for the submerged 'Morning Light'. It's deep house in its truest form and here's hoping they continue to collaborate, because on the basis of this, they're onto something very special.

Moiré is another producer Phonica have been hugely impressed with, his highly original 12"s for Werk Discs and Rush Hour blew us away and his contribution 'Solar Signs' doesn't disappoint. Cult producer STL rounds out the 12" with 'Freaky Fingers'. His distinctively twisted take on house and techno is in full effect on this one, whistles and all. As STL releases on labels other than Something or Smallville are a rarity, it's yet another coup for Phonica.

Phonica Records was established in September 2003 and set up shop in Soho, London, adding to the high concentration of independent records stores that inhabited the area. Founders; Simon Rigg, Heidi Vanden Amstel and Tom Relleen joined The Vinyl Factory with the aim of creating an exciting outlet for innovative dance music, traversing all sub-genres and cultures. Over the past decade the emporium has developed into a well-respected destination for DJs and enthusiasts, and has subsequently become a bustling hive of conversation and inspiration as part of a wider community of music lovers.

While trends and movements in music have grown and faded over these years, Phonica has always remained in a state of evolution. It is this openness to change alongside a commitment to it's original ethos and an enduring ardour for quality, cutting-edge sounds that has fuelled the shop's staying power.

To celebrate reaching this milestone, Phonica Records have invited some of their favourite artists to produce a track for an eclectic yet cohesive compilation, which will hopefully go some way towards sonically unfolding the 'Ten Years of Phonica.'

Goo Goo Dolls – Let Love In (20th Anniversary Edition)


Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum feiert das erfolgreiche Studioalbum der Goo Goo Dolls aus dem Jahr 2006 eine hochwertige Wiederveröffentlichung als limitierte 1LP-Edition. Der Meilenstein, der mit Hits wie „Stay With You“, „Let Love In“ und der Coverversion „Give a Little Bit“ den Status der Band im Bereich des melodischen Alternative-Rock festigte, erscheint in einer edel ausgestatteten Vinyl-Ausgabe. Das remasterte Originalalbum bedient im klassischen 1LP-Format die anhaltend starke Vinyl-Nachfrage sowie die ungebrochene Popularität von 2000er-Nostalgie perfekt.

Chicken Shack are a British blues rock band founded in 1965 by Stan Webb, Andy Silvester, and Alan Morley, who were later joined by Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, then still known as Christine Perfect. She would leave the band somewhere in 1969 to join Fleetwood Mac, and was replaced by Paul Raymond of UFO and Michael Schenker Group fame. They signed to the legendary British blues label Blue Horizon in 1967.

100 Ton Chicken is the band's third studio album from 1969 and offers a nice balance of blues standards and originals penned by the band's only constant member Stan Webb, who is still active to this day. It features the single "Tears In The Wind" and a cover of Davey Graham’s folk masterpiece "Anji".

100 Ton Chicken is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on green vinyl.

Songs, interpretiert von Memphis Slim, Sonny Boy Williamson, Big Bill Broonzy und anderen. Als United Artists 1959 ,Blues in the Mississippi Night" endlich veröffentlichte - nachdem man das Album jahrelang als ,zu kontrovers" eingestuft hatte -, erhielten die mitwirkenden Künstler Pseudonyme, um ihre Familien zu schützen. Heute wissen wir, dass ,Natchez, Sib & Leroy" die legendären Bluesmusiker Big Bill Broonzy, Memphis Slim und Sonny Boy Williamson waren. 1947 nahm Alan Lomax die drei Giganten mit einem Presto-Disc-Aufnahmegerät in den Decca Studios in New York City auf, nachdem sie im Rahmen seiner ,Midnight Special"-Konzertreihe in der nahegelegenen Town Hall aufgetreten waren. Lomax bat sie, ein paar Songs zu spielen und über ,den Blues" zu sprechen, und ermutigte sie, offen über die Ungerechtigkeiten des Lebens der Schwarzen in Amerika zu reden. Das Ergebnis war ,Blues in the Mississippi Night", eine bahnbrechende Aufnahme ihrer Songs und Geschichten, die die Ursprünge der Musik in Blut, Schweiß und Tränen der Afroamerikaner aufzeigt, die im Mississippi-Delta unter den Ausbeutungsbedingungen der Jim-Crow-Gesetze lebten. Beggars Banquet veröffentlicht eine aufwendig überarbeitete 40-Jahre-Jubiläumsausgabe von Discover, dem entscheidenden Durchbruchsalbum von Gene Loves Jezebel aus dem Jahr 1986. Die Neuauflage erscheint als remastertes, erweitertes Doppel-Vinyl mit aktualisiertem Artwork und wurde von Henry Rudkins in den AIR Studios klanglich neu überarbeitet. Damit wird das Album in moderner Qualität neu zugänglich gemacht und zugleich als Schlüsselmoment der Bandgeschichte gewürdigt. Discover gilt als Meilenstein, da es Gene Loves Jezebel erstmals einem internationalen Publikum bekannt machte. Musikalisch vereint es die düsteren Einflüsse der frühen Jahre mit einem klareren, melodischeren Sound und prägnanten Gitarrenstrukturen. Besonders der zentrale Track "Desire (Come and Get It)" steht exemplarisch für diese Weiterentwicklung und wurde zu einem der bekanntesten Songs der Band. Ergänzt wird die Jubiläumsausgabe durch zusätzliche Inhalte: Die Liveaufnahme Glad To Be Alive aus Nottingham (1986) erscheint erstmals seit ihrer Originalveröffentlichung wieder auf Vinyl und zeigt die Band in einer energiegeladenen, raueren Form als im Studio. Parallel dazu werden ausgewählte Liveaufnahmen, darunter "Desire - Live in Nottingham", digital bereitgestellt. First-time repress of Thrum's 1994 cult classic Rifferama, newly remastered with enhanced depth and clarity. Features Monica Queen (Belle and Sebastian / Snow Patrol), the album offers a signature blend of shimmering hooks and fuzzed-out guitars. The long-awaited reissue of Rifferama, the acclaimed debut album by Glasgow indie trailblazers Thrum. Out on Fire Records, the remaster revisits one of the most revered cult records of the 1990s UK guitar scene (the vinyl release includes an exclusive digital download of the band's reunion show recorded live at Airdrie Town Hall in 2025, along with a new studio version of 'Hey Joe'). Originally released to critical acclaim, Rifferama captured a moment when melody, distortion and emotional urgency collided to create something timeless. Now newly remastered from the original recordings, the album returns with enhanced depth and clarity, reaffirming its reputation as a lost classic of the era. Fronted by the unmistakable voice of Monica Queen (known for her work with Belle and Sebastian and Snow Patrol), Thrum's sound blended shimmering pop hooks with driving, fuzz-laden riffs. Alongside Johnny Smillie's distinctive guitar work, the band forged a sonic identity that stood proudly alongside the era's most influential alternative acts. This reissue is dedicated to the late great Phil Vinall, who mixed the album.

mit zwei Musikern, mit denen er zu Beginn seiner Karriere in den 1940er Jahren in New York zusammengespielt hatte: dem Tenorsaxofonisten Coleman Hawkins und dem Pianisten Hank Jones. Neben fantasievoll
interpretierten bekannten Standards präsentieren die Musiker auch zwei lakonisch betitelte Originale: “The
Sick of Us” und “Me and Some Drums”.

Released in 2014, Buraka is Buraka Som Sistema"s third studio album - and the last before their hiatus. Rooted in the group"s signature fusion of Angolan kuduro and bass music, the record captures the global reach of their sound, documented in Off the Beaten Track: a film following the band through Caracas, Paris, India, London and Luanda, narrated in their own words. This limited colour vinyl edition marks its first ever vinyl pressing, giving full room to the original artwork by Studio Moross.

Released in 2006 as an EP, From Buraka to the World introduced Buraka Som Sistema"s explosive fusion of Angolan kuduro with bass music to the world. HUMAN ERROR CLUB is keyboardists Diego Gaeta and Jesse Justice and drummer Mekala Session. Gaeta is a jazz-trained pianist with a restless harmonic imagination. Justice honed his chops making beats before trading his MPC for a Fender Rhodes, always maintaining a producer"s ear for texture and detail. Session, raised in Los Angeles" Leimert Park, studied under the legendary drummer Billy Higgins, and also leads the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra. All hailing from different corners of LA, these longtime musician friends came together in 2019 as a solution to a recurring dilemma: good bassists are hard to find. What was originally meant to be a one-off for the underground series BackbeatLA turned into a regular thing, and soon the trio was in the studio recording what would become their debut album.

Through an intimate, conversational approach, free from any trace of mannerism, pianist Enrico Pieranunzi and guitarist Bebo Ferra probe the innermost mystery of a genius whose expressive language combined charm and intellect are in equal measure. Drawing on languorous ballads at unhurried tempos, the program alternates reinterpretations of emblematic Evans themes - 'Song for Helen', 'Very Early', 'Once Upon a 'Summertime' - with a series of inspired original pieces. Occasionally joined by the deep, reassuring double bass of Diego Imbert ('Song for Helen', 'Calling Enrico'), they move from post- romantic atmospheres to more introverted lyrical passages, steering clear of both sentimental excess and detached formalism.

“Leviathan’s Desire” was Protector’s first release with Olly Wiebel as the new man on the microphone, and he brought in a new and different style, one no less gruff and aggressive than that of his predecessor. With the “Leviathan’s Desire” EP, Protector left the musically mid-paced path they had followed on “Urm the Mad”, turning back to their key skills and delivering a short but sweet-and-extreme thrash metal attack. The EP contains a revised and extended version of “Kain and Abel” that fits in perfectly with the new tracks, which are full to the brim with raging riffs and violent hooks, relentlessly delivered by a band that’s fully aware of its great skills and abilities both with regard to song-writing and performance – rhythm changes, breaks and bridges are all thoroughly worked out and excellently delivered. But do not fear! There are no signs of giving in to any ideas of embracing the “progressive” side of Protector. This is still pure Teutonic Thrash to the bone. “Leviathan’s Desire” was recorded in the Phoenix Studio Bochum in 1990 and originally released by German label Atom H (based in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia) in the same year. Ralph Hubert of Mekong Delta fame took over production duties of the record. Olly is very glad to see the vinyl re-release of “Leviathan’s Desire”, which has been mastered for vinyl by old comrade Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony. Protector also opened up their dusty cabinets to present us with a selection of previously unreleased pictures from those still good old days, which will be gracing the High Roller edition of “Leviathan’s Desire”.

One of the biggest “re-discoveries” of obscure eighties US Metal/Hard Rock are Ashbury from Tuscon in Arizona. The band, led by brothers Randy and Rob Davis, did originally record two very hard to find albums: »Endless Skies« in 1983 and the (belated) follow-up »Something Funny Going On« (issued in 2010). However, the roots of the band go way back to the late 1970s, when multi-instrumentalist Randy Davis formed his very first band (called Ashbury South) in Southern Oklahoma in late 1977. The original vinyl edition of »Endless Skies« came out in 1983 (with a circulation of 1,000 copies). ”It was a complete indie project all the way,” states Rob Davis. “We worked mostly on a budget of $ 5,000 for the entire project. Our distribution was through Tower Records in the western United States.” Ashbury's sound has sometimes been compared to Jethro Tull and the Davis brothers are indeed not too unhappy about this comparison: ”We both have a big smile on our face with that question,” they explain. “Yes, we are proud to be compared with Jethro Tull.” Ashbury's first album does feature an iconic artwork. Who was responsible for it and what does the cover signify? ”The cover signifies Creation, and the choices we all make,” elaborate Rob and Randy. “The cover obviously coincides with the opening song 'The Warning', about the Prophet who warns against bad choices, evil and greed. The final touch was a 'fantasy' setting, a look just off from any real world appearance.” Randy and Rob Davis are playing as brothers in Ashbury, they have always been the core of the band: ”We would not continue performing as Ashbury without both being involved. We write independently, and also together, therefore the very creation of the music would be different if one of us left the band. We also both sing lead vocals, so the sound of the band would be altered. I might refer to a recent tour concerning Styx - touring without Dennis DeYoung - therefore it's NOT Styx.”

The artist had previously shot to fame amidst the global City Pop boom thanks to the track "Machi no Dolphin" (Dolphin in the City), featured on the 1982 album *Midnight Cruisin’*.

RICK is the new record label by Rick Howe, host of Riddim Yard on PBS 106.7 FM in Melbourne, Australia. The second release, Calling Mr Speaker, is a re-lick of Tristan Palma's Face The Struggle, originally produced by Linval Thompson in 1982, with a new riddim built by Naram in Whanganui, Aotearoa. The 12" is mixed to tape by Naram in the 80s Channel One rub-a-dub style. Featuring reggae legend Freddie Mcgregor on vocals recorded at Big Ship studios in Kingston, Jamaica (2022). Complete with full horns cut by Hard Rubbish Horns, and two dub versions mixed for sound system.

Originally released in 2014, this 6-track mini-album continued the evolvement of the band’s sound from rough and straight forward black thrash to a more varied, multilayered approach to the genre. On this record, Witching Hour still concentrated on shorter, more to the point song writing, whereas their following albums began to see more expansive and atmospheric tunes.
