In the mid 90's Audio Science released two CD only albums that have gone on to be well received and lately revered. This LP has been compiled featuring the standout tracks originally released from those recordings on Aural X-Perience and Hypnotic.

Lucky number seven arrives on our Prozpektiva series and for this record we turn to Cyan85. To date more so known for his electro-breaks sounds and although is technically not a new and up & upcoming artist we are happy to present a new sound which sees the producer turn to House Jams only on this record, serving a variety of vibes from dreamy to creepy, over funky to stumpy.

Border Patrol's Stu Adam's only ever released one EP to his name which we are pleased to represent here again on Rezpektiva. Originally recorded for Middlesboro's Tumblin' Records in the mid 90's and released in small quantities, it's an EP which displays a canny variety of House music.

Number six-up for our Prozpektiva series and for this record we are proud to present a future star, an electronic music producer from Montevideo, Uruguay, Pi. With single track contributions so far on labels such as Holístico Records, White Scar and Lutzifer this is Pi's first full original release - with her trademark oscillations through techno, breakbeat, and electro with melodic tones the future definitely looks bright.

For album number four on Rezpektiva we once again turn to our man Quaid. After his magical representation of intelligent music for REZLP2two this time we present an album featuring music recorded before those sessions.

Ben Naylor aka Quaid (The OG btw) quickly became disillusioned with the music industry and made a career change of direction leaving behind hours worth of studio sessions on DAT. We have managed to put together another 8 tracks from those unreleased sessions and present them here on a 2x12".

Orphic Apparition follow up their inaugural release by RAFRAM, the collaborative project of Toronto's Raf Reza aka Raf Rizzla and UK acid house luminary Ramjac Corporation, with a new two-tracker from the transatlantic bass warriors. Where the RAFRAM 12" gifted us five variations on the same live jam cut from Grow Tottenham, here we have a spontaneous track written by Paul (Ramjac) on the A-side and a fully warped dancehall mix from Raf on the B. (short)

'Press 1 to Repeat' began as an on-the-spot demonstration of the musical self, a natural response to being asked 'What is it that you do?'. Within a few minutes Ramjac had his laptop out and was bashing out a quintessentially English sort of kitchen tabletop version of Kraftwerk - Numbers, the tongue in cheek automated voice on the other end of the line querying his account balance in tow. Proudly showing his friend Ryoko his improvisatory skills, a £10 hifi from a Japanese 2nd hand shop served as the portable monitors whilst the track waited to be brought back to his studio in London. The track is anchored by a bouncy, Irdial-reminiscent percussive workout which punches above its weight for its humble beginnings. Add the dubbed out synth pads and sort of electrical static FX in the background and everything syncs together in cosmic harmony. Hopefully Ryoko now gets the gist!

Raf Rizzla takes the stems and channels some inspiration from the Jamaican movie “Third World Cop” by turning the track on its head with a double-time baseline and half-time melody to craft a big dancehall version with a bit of a modern day On-U twist. Here Raf shows yet another side to his truly versatile production chops which have seen him release house, trance, breaks and downtempo cuts on a variety of Canadian labels prior to starting Orphic Apparition.

Producers / DJs from London and Brighton who started out in the Brighton 90s house music scene, with releases on Loaded, Piranha Records and more recently KMA60 Rezpektiva we continue to produce electronic music with love, for the dancefloor.

The third album release on our Rezpektiva label is a 2 x 12” compilation by the nutty French sonic wizard, Professor Oz. Containing 8 tracks that were produced between 1986 and 1995 these 'Lost Experiments' from the Prof have matured well. As always, remastered from the original DAT tapes, these recordings that have been brought to light convey the musical sounds present in the 80s and 90s and which will remain relevant for years to come.

R.A.N.D. Muzik proudly welcomes Olsvangèr to share his version of the house genre (creep house) on his first solo release on vinyl.

Macho Diva is the anarchic queer electro-wave project of Mima and Spacemaker. After five years of live gigs, doubt, activism, sadness, and revolt, the comrades of Macho Diva release their much-anticipated mini album Fetishista Kommunista.

A musical troika supported the creation of this great release: Vive la Fete remixed two tracks with great results, Rude 66 was also on remix duty and delivered a smashing electro-disco punk mix. Keinemusik’s Reznik once again is pairing up with long time friend and kindred spirit Good Guy Mikesh to lay down One More EP. The like-titled A-side is captioned with the tagline „Let’s give it one more try.“ - emotively crooned by Mikesh himself. We’ve all said it at some point in our life’s, right? Be it over a post-breakup coffee with the ex, be it at the black jack-table, be it in an early stage of a juggle practice. And it might cross our minds even now in the DJ booth, loading this very tune onto the player, curious if its heartfelt yearning might resonate with the crowd. Chances are it’ll resonate quite well. This sensitive yet grooving, string and piano-kissed tune shows all qualities of a future anthem. And so does the B-side „Read The Room“ - yet another directive one should always be aware of, in or outside the DJ-booth. Chances are, with this übermelodic, suspenseful, synth-hook-laden choon it’ll be almost impossible to misread the dancefloor. The vinyl version of this release comes with one exclusive bonus track.

The illusive Impérieux ventures into the fantastical world of DJ Koze’s Pampa with three tracks of masterful, genre-bending electronica.

It’s little wonder that the Turkish/Bulgarian native finds himself coming into the orbit of the Hamburg-based label head. DJ Koze has been a long-time supporter of Impérieux’s music, his intrepid DJ sets often finding their most dramatic peaks or existential lows with one of the producer's audacious dancefloor soundscapes.

Now Berlin-based, Impérieux’s music draws deeply on the sounds of his heritage, taking inspirations from Bulgarian folklore, twisted and chopped Turkish dialect as well the gritty underground of his new surroundings.

With Fantasmagorii, Impérieux explores his sonic boundaries with techniques inspired by the label-head himself. As a producer he is becoming known for his ability to build fantasy worlds through aural experimentation, creating productions soaked with fragility and emotion. His music brings a full-body listening experience of it’s own, laden with intensity and mystery, and full of opposites. He has the ability to pluck their listeners out of reality, to bend the rules of time and space and defy genres in a way that is reminiscent of Koze’s various bodies of work, and it’s no surprise that this selection of tracks feels right at home in the Pampa fantasy.

"Recoiled" is a rambunctious alchemy, of magikal Coil sensibilities and hi-tech home circa 90s mixing technique, all fused in the cave-like early studios of Danny Hyde / Peter Christopherson. These were the unrestrained PRE- BIG studio- mix downs, of four songs which long time Coil admirer / collaborator Trent Reznor requested Coil to remix. Reznor sent over the original multi-tracks and DATs to Hyde / Christopherson, who independently mixed versions and then met to synch both creations, molding them into these master versions. "Recoiled" includes a fuller, more opulent version of the track 'Closer', which eventually made it onto the opening credits to the movie "SE7EN". These 5 lengthy compositions are pre-Ableton / laptop generation type priest song creations, with the use of baby alarms and numerous wires to create bespoke effects. These legendary tracks were always rumoured to exist and, only the due diligence of a dedicated NIN forum who hunted them down, are released/unleashed for your listening pleasure. In november 2024, eavesdrop festival presented its 3rd edition of contemporary electronic music and sound art, taking place in the striking architectural setting of silent green’s Betonhalle in Berlin. ”to eavesdrop” - is invoked as a mode of listening intently, attentively and with curiosity. With its ongoing commitment to adventurous listening cultures, the festival brought together a top-notch line-up of Berlin based and international artists, who share a common practice in electronic sound composition whilst spanning a diversity of inter-related contemporary tendencies. Whether it’s multi-award winning Mariam Razaei’s exceptional turntablism, Ilpo Väisänen’s legendary DIY analogue electronics, Jasmine Guffond’s generative sound installation, Nina Garcia’s extraordinary electric guitar manipulations, Lottie Sebes’ AI voice synthesis or Rashad Becker’s idiosyncratic synthesizer explorations, to name a few, eavesdrop invited listeners to consider, from multiple perspectives, new social and technical developments in international music and sound cultures.

This compilation documents those 2 nights with 9 exclusive tracks - 7 live performances and 2 stereo mixes from multi-channel installations, edited by the festival’s curator / organizer Jasmine Guffond, with a total running time of approx. 78 minutes. All revenues will go to charities providing medical aid and food sovereignty in Gaza: Medical Aid For Palestinians & Thamra.

Die neue EP der irischen Songwriterin Lisa O"Neill besteht aus sechs Songs, darunter die eindringliche Version von Bob Dylans "All The Tired Horses", die Lisa für die Schlussszene der letzten Folge von Peaky Blinders aufgenommen hat, sowie "Homeless In The Thousands (Dublin in the Digital Age)" mit Peter Doherty, das bereits im Januar dieses Jahres als eigenständige Single veröffentlicht wurde. Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass O"Neill über soziale Ungerechtigkeiten in Zeiten des Wandels schreibt. Lieder wie "Rock the Machine" über Arbeitslosigkeit in den Dubliner Docklands, "When Cash Was King" über den Übergang zu einer bargeldlosen Gesellschaft und "Violet Gibson" über die Irin, die 1926 versuchte, Mussolini zu ermorden - dieses neue Lied entstand als Reaktion auf das wachsende Problem der Obdachlosigkeit in Dublin und Irland. Ergänzt wird die EP durch einen neuen Song und den aktuellen Live-Favoriten "Mother Jones" über die irische Aktivistin Mary G. Harris Jones, die nach Amerika auswanderte und dort als Gewerkschaftsorganisatorin tätig war. Im Jahr 1902 wurde sie als "die gefährlichste Frau Amerikas" bezeichnet, nachdem sie Bergarbeiter gegen die Minenbesitzer mobilisiert hatte - ein Engagement, das direkt zur Einführung der ersten US-Gesetze gegen Kinderarbeit führte. Abgerundet wird die EP durch eine eindrucksvolle Version des zur Jahreszeit passenden "The Bleak Midwinter" sowie eine bewegende Rezitation des Gedichts "Autumn 1915" von James Stevens.

After following Luke Blair's work for approaching two decades from his 2007 debut as Lukid on Actress' Werk Discs, we're humbled to present a new album on Death Is Not The End. Following relatively hot on the heels of 2023's Tilt (his first in 11 years, not counting his work with Jackson Bailey under the Rezzett guise) Underloop brings Blair's innate knack for building loops and sound structures further to the surface, while allowing his ear for emotional expression to be dialled up a notch. Those fortunate enough to be familiar with Lukid's work as a DJ will be aware of how distinct his ability is to seamlessly disappear into loop-based abstraction and back again seemingly without blinking, and often Underloop feels much like a collection of the sludgey interludes and foggy sketches that underpin his sets. Blending apparently ramshackle melodies and textures and pulling them together into an undeniable whole, Blair's tendency for pairing the simple and the indescribable with an understated vigour is fully on show here.

Gary bezeichnet dieses Album - zusammen mit seinen beiden Vorgängern, "Replicas" von Tubeway Army und seinem Solo-Debütalbum "The Pleasure Principle" - als die "Maschinen-Phase" seiner Karriere. Obwohl es schwierig war, an die vorherigen Veröffentlichungen anzuknüpfen, erwies sich "Telekon" als äußerst einflussreich. Im Gegensatz zu seinen Vorgängern enthält "Telekon" viele Gitarren, dazu Streicher und üppige Synthesizer-Klänge. Trent Reznor gab an, das Album während der Entstehung von "Pretty Hate Machine" täglich gehört zu haben. Diese erweiterte Deluxe-Edition enthält vier unveröffentlichte Tracks, darunter: "Like A B-Film", ein unvollendeter Song aus den "Telekon"-Sessions sowie drei frühere Versionen der Songs "Please Push No More", "Aircrash Bureau" und "I"m An Agent". Die 45th Anniversary Editions von "Telekon" wurden von Geoff Pesche in den Abbey Road Studios neu gemastert. Was also geschieht, wenn Paris und Havanna aufeinandertreffen? Die beiden Künstler tauchen tief in die kubanische Tradition ein und spielen zugleich mit klassischen Formen. Dabei rufen sie eine Epoche in Erinnerung, die Roberto nur allzu gut kennt – die des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts, als sich spanische klassische Musik und kubanische Rhythmen vermischten und das entstehen ließen, was später Danzón und Danzonete genannt wurde. Fonseca und Segal fügen dem eine Prise Improvisation hinzu – und damit Moderne.

Man sucht diese Musik nicht, und man hört sie auch nicht, um sie zu analysieren – sie kommt zu einem. Ihre Subtilität überrascht, weil sie in Bildern spricht. Das melodische Wechselspiel kitzelt die Wahrnehmung, zieht einen in die Außenwelt und umhüllt einen, während es zugleich im Inneren weiterlebt. Es ist eine Welt aus Echos und Erinnerungen, ein Wirbel aus Ideen und Gefühlen, die sich ständig erneuern und immer neue Bedeutungen finden.

In einer Zeit, in der künstliche Intelligenz allgegenwärtig scheint – sowohl in der Musikindustrie als auch in unserem Alltag –, erinnert uns diese Musik daran, dass das Geheimnis nicht darin liegt, zu kontrollieren, hinzuzufügen oder die Schöpfung für sich zu beanspruchen, sondern vielmehr darin, zu dekonstruieren, wegzulassen und Raum für Klarheit zu schaffen. Das Geheimnis besteht darin, den kreativen Prozess zu seinem Wesenskern zurückzuführen – Nuit Parisienne à La Havane tut genau das. Es ist ein Album, das nicht um unsere Aufmerksamkeit bittet, keine Rezensionen erwartet und keine Analyse einfordert. Es will gefühlt werden – vielleicht sogar betrachtet – wie eine Abfolge von elf Kurzfilmen, die sich vor unseren Augen entfalten. Es liegt an uns, die Bilder in unserem Geist schweben zu lassen, sie aufzunehmen und schließlich wieder verschwinden zu lassen.

Diese fünftägige Improvisationssession führt uns durch höchst unterschiedliche Genres: von kubanischen Rhythmen verschiedener Epochen über französisches Chanson, klassische Musik, afrikanische Rhythmen bis hin zu östlichen Einflüssen. Sie stellt die Frage: Was wäre, wenn auch die Musik mit den großen Herausforderungen der modernen Welt konfrontiert würde?

Mit „Wenn es Liebe ist“ veröffentlichen Die Sterne ihr neues Studioalbum – ein Werk, das die Band einmal mehr als scharfsinnige Chronisten unserer Zeit zeigt. Zwischen Indiepop, Post-Punk und subtiler Elektronik verbinden sich gesellschaftliche Beobachtungen mit persönlicher Reflexion, Humor mit Haltung. Die Songs klingen frisch, direkt und unerwartet vielseitig – mal politisch, mal romantisch, immer mit dieser unverwechselbaren Sterne-Handschrift.

Neben deutschen Texten finden sich erstmals auch englischsprachige Stücke sowie zwei Songs mit Dyan Valdés am Leadgesang. Das Ergebnis ist kein Rückblick, sondern ein mutiger Schritt nach vorn – kompromisslos, lebendig und voller Energie.

Zur Veröffentlichung geht die Band auf große Tournee durch Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz – inklusive eines besonderen Konzerts mit dem Filmorchester Babelsberg im Potsdamer Nikolaisaal.

Für den Soundtrack von QUEER arbeiteten die Oscar- und Grammy-prämierten Komponisten Trent Reznor und Atticus Ross erneut mit Regisseur Luca Guadagnino zusammen. Dieser erscheint nun erstmals auf 180-Gramm transluzentem Kobaltblau-Vinyl. Diese spezielle Edition enthält ausgewählte Highlights aus Reznors und Ross' Originalkomposition sowie den Abspannsong "Vaster Than Empires", inspiriert von William S. Burroughs' letztem Tagebucheintrag und interpretiert von Caetano Veloso und Trent Reznor.
