French quartet Mourir are preparing to release their second full-length studio album, Nous, le venin, this summer via Pelagic Records. Their forward-thinking take on black metal and uncompromising approach to their work marks them out as ones to watch when they present this new material live at festivals across Europe including Hellfest, Rock In Bourlon and Resurrection festival in the months to come. With a demo, an album and an experimental EP to their name, the four-piece retreated to the studio at the end of 2025 to write the music for Nous, le venin. Recorded in January 2026 with Amaury Sauvé (Birds in row, Igorrr, Pneu) at The Apiary Studio in Laval, France, the six tracks are the very embodiment of Mourir's approach to black metal. Although they draw inspiration from many artists in the old-school black metal world, they opted to lean into a more modern sound - one that would allow the depth of their sonic choices to shine. Blending elements of sludge and post-metal to the rawness of their black metal sound, and combining this with a mix that gives space to both the low frequencies and the high-octane viscerality, Mourir have created something both distinctive and captivating. Thematically, the band turns their detached gaze towards an ever-more untethered modern society, one that is inhospitable to those seeking meaning in the cruelty and absurdity of a seemingly senseless world. Yet within these tracks exists slivers of light, of hope and of luminosity - a belief that something better is possible is woven throughout the melodic passages and most celestial, ecstatic elements of their sound. The evocative cover art by Thomas Davezac captures the feeling of disconnection that permeates the album. Mourir have recorded an album that cements their place among underground greats who deftly eschew the nostalgic trappings of black metal convention and breathe new life into the genre. Nous, le venin is imbued with raw emotion that is perfectly complemented by stylistic choices that echo the sentiment of being freed from the chains of the past. Reissue of the debut album by Laghonia, one of the most important bands of Peruvian rock. Originally released in 1960, "Glue" will be cherished by lovers of Latin American rock, pop and psychedelia as practiced by other similar classic bands such as Traffic Sound, We All Together, Black Sugar and Telegraph Avenue. After four brilliant singles, in 1969 the Peruvian band New Juggler Sound, formed by Saúl Cornejo (guitar), David Levene (lead guitar), Ernesto Samané (bass), Carlos Salom (organ) and Manuel Cornejo (drums), changed their name to Laghonia and released their debut LP "Glue" on the MAG label. The album included those previously released tracks, which were very influenced by the British rock scene of those years, to which they added fiery guitars bursting with fuzz and wah-wah, the ever present and hypnotic Hammond organ sound and Latin American percussion and rhythms. The result was a wonderful mix of mid-60s British beatmelodies, Jimmy Hendrix's intense rock, Cream's heavy blues and Santana's Latin rock. "Glue" is regarded as one of the key albums of Latin American psych and garage rock and is an essential record for any fan of those genres. Deluxe edition: 180g vinyl LP in tip-on jacket and insert with liner notes.

Welcome to the ROOTS REGGAE SOUND. A period in Reggaes history that followed the two year supremacy of Rocksteady, that began to tail off around the end of 1968. The Reggae sound many say did not come initially from the chop of the guitar but from the stabs from the Keyboard/Organ that produced that jeggae/jerking feel. The Roots element can be heard in the heartfelt lyrics and the stories told in the songs. So sit back and enjoy some Roots Reggae straight from the heart of Jamaica….
Classic Barrington Levy Album from 1984 restored and remastered for best ever sound.
Features the hit singles 'Money Move; and the Jah Shaka sound system anthem 'Praise His Name'. Unavailable for 40 years and first time ever released outside Jamaica.
Sleeve artwork design by the great Jamaican illustrator Limonius - highly collectable. Solid all-star roots backing from Sly & Robbie, Lloyd Parks.
Recorded and mixed at Dynamic Sounds and Channel One
40 years after its creation, MOß GARTEN – Sekvensstyrd 1981–1986 arrives as a compelling double vinyl LP, diving deep into the early Swedish DIY electronic scene. Inspired by pioneers such as Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, John Foxx, and The Human League, Mikael Isaksson developed a distinct sound situated between minimal electronics, industrial, synth wave, and experimental sound art. At its core was the sequencer: pulsing, programmed structures forming the backbone of dense, often hypnotic compositions.
Working initially with his cousin Jan or friend Thomas and later evolving into a largely one-man project, recordings were made on cassette tapes and in improvised studios—often under time pressure, frequently recorded and mixed within just a few hours. These very limitations gave the tracks their raw and immediate character. Pieces like “Moderna Kvinnor,” “Soon Soon,” “Ensam,” and “Music From The Border” exemplify the uncompromising, sequence-driven (“sekvensstyrd”) approach that defined this era.
Using an arsenal of analog synthesizers, early sequencers, and drum machines, the project created music that feels at once cold, mechanical, and deeply emotional. Sekvenssytrd 1981–1986 is more than a collection of archival recordings—it is a vivid document of a time when electronic music was conceived as a radical and deeply personal form of expression.

"Finn Wolfhard's forthcoming album, Fire From The Hip, represents a definitive "hi-fi" evolution, moving from the raw, 16mm-aesthetic of his debut record, Happy Birthday, to a broader, 35mm-fidelity sound. Inspired by pivotal rock albums like Exile on Main Street and Beggars Banquet, Finn leans into a more expansive, collaborative sound on this record. The music is upbeat, guitar-driven, and captures the lightning-in-a-bottle energy of his live band, positioning Finn not just as a familiar face in the zeitgeist, but as a definitive and respected leader in the modern music landscape."
The Bug and Ghost Dubs relentlessly probe and atomize original material culled from Kevin Richard Martin's critically acclaimed 'Sub Zero' album. ("Monolithic and unforgiving, even by the Bug's standards, representing his most suffocating take on ambient dub yet." Pitchfork). Remixed to punish sound systems and freeze up the dance, both Fiedler and Martin trade fresh, contrasting blows, after their recent IMPLOSION face off album on PRESSURE last year. (Dub/Reggae album of the year, 2025, in 'The Wire') The resulting 4 remixes are every bit as hypnotic and persuasive as you would hope for from productions fresh out the soundlabs of Michael Fiedler aka GHOST DUBS and Kevin Richard Martin under his dancefloor destroying Bug alias. Both producers intensify the desolate mood of the originals but introduce demolition inducing beats which provide the literally irresistible momentum. Echoes of the originals are respected and heard throughout, but the extra gear shifts pay off brilliantly. Guaranteed to push serious air, and test the most powerful of sub woofers, these 4 remixes vary from heavy to superheavyweight. i.e. GHOST DUBS outputs a deliriously stoned headnod with his zonal refix of 'When I'm Gone', which miraculously sounds both subtley mysterious, but monolithically huge, whilst The Bug prowls ice cold, on the noirish, narcotic, instrumental hip hop of 'Too Human', which sounds like prime Mobb Deep mixed by Rhythm & Sound' at 16 bpm. Essential remixes of an already very special album, the original atmosphere is not only captured expertly, it is categorically amplified. LARGE.
If These Trees Could Talk erzeugen klangliche Wucht, indem sie drei Gitarren einsetzen, um unterschiedliche Bereiche des Frequenzspektrums abzudecken.
Foreign Tongues, the new album from The Rolling Stones, is an incredibly vibrant 14-track collection arriving less than three years after the band’s universally acclaimed, GRAMMY-winning album Hackney Diamonds, which topped charts worldwide and achieved multi-platinum status. The new album is introduced by the upbeat and infectious lead single In The Stars.
Leading up to the announcement, the band subtly built anticipation around the project, including the limited white label release of the track Rough and Twisted, issued exclusively on vinyl under the name The Cockroaches. Circulating among fans and collectors, the release has already sparked excitement and speculation about the sound and direction of Foreign Tongues, offering an early glimpse into the album’s raw and experimental energy. Recorded during an exceptionally creative period, Foreign Tongues was brought to life in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood reuniting with GRAMMY-winning producer Andrew Watt, who also helmed Hackney Diamonds. The result is a dynamic and forward-looking record that captures the band’s unmistakable sound while venturing into new sonic and lyrical territory—further cementing their unmatched legacy.
The album showcases standout performances from Jagger, Richards and Wood, alongside their long-time collaborators, including Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan. It also features a special guest appearance from Charlie Watts, recorded during one of his final studio sessions before his passing in 2021. Additional contributions come from an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Speaking about the recording process, Mick Jagger said: “I love doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis. It was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues. We had 14 great tracks, and we worked as quickly as we could. I like the room there because it’s not too big, so you can really feel the passion in the room from everyone.”
Keith Richards added: “The album Foreign Tongues has a connection to Hackney Diamonds, and it was great to be working in London again and to have that London vibe around us. It was a month of concentrated punch. For me, it’s all about the joy of it. I’m blessed to be able to do this—may it continue for a long time.”
Ronnie Wood commented: “The atmosphere in the room was so creative, and the whole band was in top form throughout the process. Very often, we nailed it on the first take. I hope everyone will love it.”
The album’s striking cover artwork is a painting created by the acclaimed American artist Nathaniel Mary Quinn
About Kelela: Throughout her globally revered, boundary-pushing career, Kelela has established a lane of her own in R&B and electronic music. On her long-awaited third album, new avatar, the singer/songwriter (through the versatility of the guitar) challenges perceptions of these genres, while weaving together fragments of lived experiences to shape a world of connection and resilience during times of unrest.
The songs journey through Black femme rage, joy as resistance, Gotham City-esque dystopia, misogynoir, romantic tension, and more. It’s anchored by production that demands a broader rethink about alternative, rock and indie music.
Kelela’s defiant nature has propelled her so far already — from her hometown of Washington, D.C to world stages. In 2013, she released her debut mixtape, Cut 4 Me. She continued solidifying her revolutionary R&B sound with 2015’s Hallucinogen EP, with The New York Times naming its single, “Rewind,” one of the “25 Songs That Tell Us Where Music Is Going”. By 2017, she released her electric debut album Take Me Apart (which was followed by 2018’s TAKE ME A_PART, THE REMIXES), building upon her intimate storytelling.
After a nearly five-year hiatus, she returned in 2023 with her groundbreaking second album, Raven, and its critically-acclaimed counterpart, RAVE:N, The Remixes in 2024. Raven has been hailed as one of the ‘Best Albums of 2023’ by Pitchfork, Billboard, Vulture, Variety, and more, while the remixes solidified her as a leader in the dance music space.
In 2025, Kelela showcased yet another innovative side of her artistry with her live album In The Blue Light, which hit #5 on the Contemporary Jazz chart and #20 on the Jazz Albums chart. Now, with new avatar, Kelela displays the masterful intention she puts into forming new sonic cityscapes. But don’t confuse it with escapism: “I don't want the music to be a distraction from what's really going on in the world; I want it to help you get into it.”

Polyrhythmic hand percussion and bells are offset with modular synthesis and narcotic sound design that evokes the mysteries of the rainforest and the inherent psychedelia of nature. As Is.
"i'm DADA" hingegen findet seinen Rhythmus in einem schlanken, kreisenden Groove.

After appearing on Kulture Galerie Volume 4 alongise Uncanny Valley and fellow North Marcedonian Herzel, L.O.V.D joins the Digital Artefacts series with 'Dive'.
L.O.V.D is a doctor by day, synth geek by night, set between North Macedonia and Berlin. This brand new 4 tracker is a personal journey that Ljuben describes like this:
'Dive is a collection of songs that embody my perception of the complex emotions experienced between two people in love. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes sad, always heavily emotionally charged, never perfect.'

The second full-length album from Simon Herody - French born, Berlin based multi-instrumentalist and composer. Featuring the visual universe of Paul Waak.
Water from Mars retraces the imaginary odyssey of a near-future conquest of space - a sonic journey conceived as a soundtrack for the imagination. Blending acoustic and electronic instruments, Herody navigates between sci-fi jazz, left-field ambient dub, space lounge, and 4th world music, crafting a world where melancholy and forward-thinking curiosity coexist in weightless suspension.
Indulgent, textured, and uncompromising - for fans of glitchy synthesizer textures, cinematic atmospheres, and music that refuses easy categorization.
Picture disc, artwork by C. Bedford Black Screen Records and Kaizen Game Works have teamed up for two new vinyl editions of Barry "Epoch" Topping's vibrant funky city pop/vaporwave soundtrack to the open world adventure game Paradise Killer. Topping's incredible soundtrack will be available on brand new picture discs as well as rosé & crystal clear with white marbled vinyl. The LPs are housed in a gatefold sleeve with beautiful 80s anime- & city pop-inspired artwork by Mizucat - additional art and layout by Kaizen Game Works, Barry Topping and Dane Baudoin. The picture disc artwork was crafted by C. Bedford as well as the one for the included folded A2 Crimson Acid poster. The sounds of Paradise. The music of a cosmic dream. Tunes from another reality. The tempo of the crime to end all crimes. The beat of long dead alien gods. The playlist of the investigation freak. Let the music take you away to Paradise. Feel the sun scorching your skin. Smell unbearably hot concrete. Savour the sweet taste of crime committed on a tropical island in another reality. Remember when we danced along the beach? Along the streets of Paradise? You made me this mix tape on the roof of your apartment block. We stared at the moon. You said you'd kill the moon. I didn't believe you. I was wrong.
Formed in late 1991, Undertakers are among the longest-running and most uncompromising bands of the Italian extreme underground. This album marks the most mature chapter in the band's history. It is where everything finally locks into place: grindcore violence, hardcore urgency, death metal weight, and sharp black metal edges fused into a modern sound that never betrays its old-school DNA. No nostalgia trip, no trend-chasing-just experience, control, and intent. The record is built on contrast: precision versus chaos, speed versus crushing mid-tempos, modern production versus a raw, uncompromising attitude. Every track serves a purpose, every riff hits with direction. This is a band that knows exactly who it is and has nothing left to prove.

Native Call explores the roots of ancient Latin America, weaving five hypnotic tracks inspired by the myths and mysticism of the Maya civilisation. Each piece is a fragment of Maoh's universe; a world where past and present collide, evoking sacred rituals, celestial beliefs, and the hidden lore of a lost era.
Deep rhythms and haunting atmospheres guide the listener through a soundscape where ancient traditions meet contemporary electronic expression.

"Adam Lambert’s new era carves a bold hybrid world, blending analogue grit with sleek electronic production. Distorted synths, live bass, electric guitar, and raw drums create a tactile yet futuristic soundscape where his voice soars and twists through dynamic melodies. Lyrically, the album explores longing, identity, and the tension between hope and cynicism; layered, symbolic, and emotionally charged. Dark, stylish, and intoxicating, it’s a strikingly elevated sonic evolution."
The 4th album from Melodeath trailblazers CARRION VAEL. Like a bastard offspring of The Black Dahlia Murder, Necrophagist & Nevermore, CARRION VAEL are set to cement a sound that will bear their brand for years to come. Epic, swathing and furious, 'SLAY UTTERLY' is a grisly, visceral ride into the mind of various Serial Killers, a theme that the band have now become known for through their OTT lyrical approach.
Dark Wings marks a shift toward a looser, more collaborative sound for Mason Jennings, recorded in an unconventional studio space built inside a design workshop with drummer Scott McPherson and engineer Aaron Featherstone. What began as a single track evolved into an 11-song collection shaped by ongoing sessions, spontaneous collaborations, and a rotating cast of musicians. The result is a warm, full-band record that leans into texture, instinct, and the energy of capturing music in the moment—an inspired departure from Jennings’ more solitary recent work. Vinyl pressing limited to 500.
Mit Alone Together liefern Show Me The Body das bislang stärkste und ambitionierteste Album ihrer
Karriere.
Alone Together entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Kenneth Blume III (fka Kenny Beats; u. a. Geese, IDLES, Denzel
Curry, Provoker) sowie Klaus Åhlund (u. a.
deutlich weiterentwickelt.
“He’s
Hodges, Mitautor von Klassikern wie "Love and Happiness" und "Take Me to the River", prägte mit seinem unverwechselbaren Gitarrenspiel das gesamte Album.
Debut EP (1969) by the legendary Bolivian band Climax, recorded during their hard rock period, before evolving their sound toward progressive rock a few years later with the release of their well-known album "Gusano mecánico". Includes versions of 'Born to Be Wild' by Steppenwolf, 'Fire' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and 'Sunshine of Your Love' and 'Tales of Brave Ulysses' by Cream. On October 7, 1974, the now-historic "Gusano mecánico" was released - the only full-length album by the legendary Bolivian rock band Climax. Founded in 1968 from the remnants of the disbanded Los Black Byrds and the unrealized project The Turtles, Climax was formed by guitarist José "Pepe" Eguino and bassist Javier Saldías, who developed a strong bond with drummer Alvaro Córdova, cemented by their shared passion for rock. Together, they embarked on a journey of self-discovery, spending several months in the United States during a crucial period straddling the end of the Summer of Love and the lead-up to Woodstock. This period, perhaps the most significant of the 1960s Bolivian countercultural movement, saw an explosion of artistic expression driven by dissatisfaction with the society that the youth had inherited from their parents. Within this context, the influence of iconic bands such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, Blue Cheer, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer played a pivotal role in their decision to return to Bolivia and form the country's first 'power trio'. Their early EPs paid tribute to their musical heroes. The first of these is titled "Born to Be Wild" (1969), including versions of 'Born to Be Wild' by Steppenwolf, 'Fire' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and 'Sunshine of Your Love' and 'Tales of Brave Ulysses' by Cream. Recording covers was completely normal at the time and was also their way of learning the musical language. It's worth noting that the term "cover" did not carry the meaning it has today; back then, the main goal was to spread the music and bring it to a wider audience. First time vinyl reissue.
Second EP (1970) by the legendary Bolivian band Climax, recorded during their hard rock period, before evolving their sound toward progressive rock a few years later with the release of their well-known album "Gusano Mecánico". Includes a new funky version of 'Born to Be Wild' by Steppenwolf, as well as three original compositions by the band. Their early EPs paid tribute to their musical heroes. Their second EP "Born to Be Wild II" was released in 1970, it featured a new funky version of the Steppenwolf original. It also introduced the band's first original compositions and their new influences: 'Ritmo de la Vida,' an instrumental chord-driven melody with Latin jazz overtones where we begin to hear the influence of Santana; 'El Abrigo Café de Piel de Gallina,' a standard blues number that recalls 'All Your Love' by Otis Rush; and 'The Seeker,' with a Latin vibe and lyrics that include the first reference to drug use in Bolivian music. First time vinyl reissue.
