UK born, Fremantle-based producer Jon E. makes his return to Natural Element, after his sell-out debut release ‘Smoke’ in 2025 captured the attention of DJs and dancefloors around the world.
Here sees the first of a two-part series of EPs that displays the fruits of a deeply creative phase following an injury that had him bed bound for months. The sonic progression from his debut is tangible across all four tracks, with an enhanced palette and clear versatility. The EP is a deeper expression of his production skills and unique, authentic sound. Willem Mulder works from the raw functionality of house and pulls warmth from electronics across eras. With releases on Apron Records and Salon Recordings, he’s steadily been building a name with his soul-infused productions. Grover Duvall is a new name, but not a new story, with years spent deep in the craft of sound. Together, the two bring their distinct worlds into a shared space, united by a love of analogue hardware, dancefloor energy, and the kind of music that lives somewhere between feel and function.

Alpha’s Trip continues its vinyl journey with the Day Tripper EP from French producer - Framboisier. Trelik is an A-grade label for minimal heads and now the founder, Baby Ford, welcomes back fellow micro-house specialist Ion Ludwig for vital two-tracker. 'It Broke With Speed' starts with jittery rhythms and blurts of synth as the rubbery bass rolls on and the percussion is spindled lightly up top. It's a more fulsome sound than you might expect from this producer but the art is in the intricacies of its layers. 'Archa Edel' on the B is quick and deep, speedy but tightly controlled with fluttering snares peeling off the groove and cosmic whimsy existing in the pads. Classy cuts as always.

Now marking eight years in the underground, Blur Records delivers a various artist collection that reflects its sound across always floor-facing cuts across a house and disco spectrum tinged with retro flair. 'Back To The Disco' by Hotmood opens with big loops and a hands in the air grove that is high on funky-disco vibes, while Delfonic keeps things tight on 'Let's Do The Magic' which centres a vocal hook and busy chords. Elsewhere, Crackazat's sultry rework of Scruscru's 'Just House' adds a jazz-leaning touch and 'Touch Me' shifts into a more restrained, late-night mood. Closing with the deep, plump drums of Sven Wegner's sexy, sax-laced 'Chuck The Boom', the collection stays consistently accessible and groovy throughout.

For decades, dancers, collectors, and fellow selectors have asked Beppe Loda the same question: "Where do you find these records?” The answer remains classified. What we do know is that few figures in dance music have spent as much time digging, discovering, and championing forgotten sounds as the Italian maestro. Long before algorithms, reissue campaigns, and online marketplaces made obscurity accessible, Beppe was uncovering hidden treasures and introducing them to adventurous dance floors. His influence stretches from the legendary Typhoon club to the present day, inspiring generations of DJs, collectors, and cosmic music devotees along the way. Italian Spaghetti Disco Freak Vol. 5 offers four more clues. Drawn from Beppe's vast archive and lovingly retooled for modern-day disco freaks, these edits are a reminder that the best dance floors are built on surprise. Strange records become anthems, forgotten melodies become obsessions, and once again Beppe proves that nobody keeps dancers guessing quite like he does. By now, the evidence is overwhelming. Beppe's well of Italian disco appears to be bottomless. Every time it seems impossible that another forgotten gem could emerge, the maestro somehow uncovers another one. The mystery continues. Thus we welcome Lena Willikens & Sarah Szczesny's ethereal Phantom Kino Ballett project to Utter with 'Phantom Seance Ballett', an unusually tangible manifestation of what has become an on-going series of live performances and installations that incorporate sound, video, costume, still imagery and beyond. The themes explored weave in and out of grasp, touching on the otherworldly and mysterious, on hypnotic rites and ceremonies, on the fetishisation of cultural tropes and curios.

While carefully documented, these happenings had not been distilled or presented in a cohesive format until now. Of course, an attempt to harness and package such an experience required an imaginative leap beyond the traditional 'record-in-sleeve' approach and Lena and Sarah have overseen every aspect of this remarkable collection themselves.

Working with designer Till Sperrle, Lena and Sarah have conjured up a fold-out box containing an LP, a riso-printed credits poster detailing the samples and snippets collaged into the sound, a 36 page book with imagery from various shows and an essay by Thomas Vorreyer plus sticker pack. The limited 50 copy artist edition contains an additional 10 special riso-prints within an artist stamped hand-numbered box. For all, the LP contains twenty hidden locked grooves cut into the run-out on each side presenting snippets from the artists' archive.

The first of these pieces - 'Identikit Arkaden Seance' - took place on the 2nd of October 2019 at NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein and is a live recording. This performance was part of their exhibition "Chambers of Phantom Kino Ballett", where they showed new video works and displayed the now infamous costumes and slippers worn by Lena, Sarah and a rotating cast of guest phantoms.

At this performance, the seven performers carried boomboxes playing individual audio tracks inside and outside the Kunstverein, while Viktoria Wehrmeister and Detlef Weinrich improvised music alongside the phantoms' moving soundtracks of sonic snippets, poetry, field recordings and soundscapes.

The second piece - 'Studio Chamber Seance' - contains diverse audio tracks of performances that were held by Willikens and Szczesny in collaboration with Wehrmeister and Weinrich. It has been deconstructed and rearranged with additional sound material from the Lena Willikens & Sarah Szczesny archive, then edited and mixed by Lena and Sarah in Amsterdam and Cologne last year. Additional music by Detlef Weinrich and Viktoria Wehrmeister features throughout, recorded live in Aachen 2019 and Frankfurt 2020.

New York’s Ma Sha brings wigged-out rhythms to Nerve Collect with an explosive, future-facing new EP. The six tracks prove she is bound by no rules but knows exactly how to energise the club.

Ma Sha deals in sounds that operate outside the usual boundaries and demand full-bodied, physical reactions. She has become a driving force in the New York underground with Kindergarten, which is both a much-loved party and a much hyped label. Though built on global techno foundations, Sha’s grooves range from peak-time brain melters to more twisted and rugged, always at high tempo and with plenty of invention on labels like Steel City Dance Discs and Rhythm Section International.

‘Salpa’ opens with a clipped rhythm drenched in neon and psychedelic swirls as oversized bass cocoons from below with glitchy vocal fragments and hard but bouncy techno momentum. ‘Gillz’ swallows you in waves of bass and rubber kicks while screwy synths spray across the mix while a syncopated broken beat brings irresistible funk to a post-human world. ‘Shots’, a collab track with Hodge, works in overdrive with rising tones and liquid metal textures that trap you in a hall of mirrors. Intense club pressure builds with pristine percussion and hyperreal vocals.

‘Spinmachine’ is a freaky sound world of fuzzy synths, cantering drums and static electricity that is full of threat and never lets go. ‘Total Energy’ locks into rolling drums and hyping swing with descending leads and a sense of future rave chaos designed for sheer dance floor release.

Ma Sha’s sound designs feel beamed back from the future to rewire familiar rhythms that tickle the brain as they make their way through your entire body.

Mike Gordon's debut album as Mk.gee, "Two Star & the Dream Police," is a groundbreaking fusion of pop, rock, and soul. Hailing from New Jersey, the 26-year-old musician redefines familiar genres with his unique approach to sound, incorporating unconventional tones, tempos, and textures. His distorted guitar riffs and soulful vocals, reminiscent of Prince, cut through murky, experimental mixes, creating a captivating sonic landscape that refuses to conform to traditional boundaries.

Despite his experimental tendencies, Gordon demonstrates a mastery of melody, crafting intricate and engaging pop songs from seemingly chaotic compositions. "Two Star" is both innovative and accessible, offering a fresh take on contemporary music while retaining a timeless quality.

While Gordon has been releasing EPs and mixtapes since 2017, it was his collaboration with Dijon on the latter's debut album, "Absolutely," that introduced him to a wider audience in 2021. Their dynamic live performances, characterized by Gordon's frenetic guitar playing and Dijon's charismatic stage presence, exemplify the creative synergy between the two artists. Dijon credits Gordon with pushing him to new creative heights, infusing his music with a newfound rhythm and freedom. "Absolutely" marked a significant evolution for Dijon's sound, with Gordon's influence recognized as invaluable to the project's success.

Few tracks have left a mark on the underground quite like Tarantula. Now, more than a decade after winning "Top Track of the Year" at the 2011 Beatport Awards, Pleasurekraft's breakthrough anthem returns on vinyl with the iconic Original Mix on the A-Side and two powerful reworks on the B-Side, inviting listeners back into the unmistakable atmosphere of Pleasurekraft's cosmic techno sound.

"Al Festa's musical genius was revealed at the age of 14 when was released ''Starway to Escher'' with the Italian prog rock band Bauhaus (1974). His talent continued with "Miss Manhattan" by Metropole Al Festa, Francesco Puccioni (aka Mike Francis), Claudio Giorgi, Sharon Russell vocalist), his very first disco-music song in 1981. Over his career - a dozen movie soundtracks and hundreds music videos - his involvement in the Italo-Disco scene of the early 1980s is noteworthy. Undoubtedly, his contribution to Kristal (himself Al Festa, with Anne Dattner and Max Liofredi) remains most memorable. "Ete Super" was written with Helene Chauvin, a close friend of the now legendary Jeanne Mas. Helene attempted success as Abilene with "Tout Tout Tout Mais Pas Ca" arranged by another Italo-disco legend, Pierluigi Giombini (1987). Returning to Kristal, what convinced Claudio Casalini - one of Al Festa's best friends - to create this vinyl reissue was not only the memory of this talented artist, who passed away prematurely, but also the track "Fallin'" on the B-side, which embodies all the composer's post-Romanticism, a song rich of emotional and sensitivity, with intimate and often dramatic tones. For the decennial release on Punctuality Warsaw duo W.A.C., aka Private Press step up with their Forever W.A.C EP. Moving away from their more techno-oriented offerings, Forever W.A.C. keeps the tempo and energy of their earlier work but suffuses the mood with warm, glowing trance and prog energy. This is peak-time Punctuality business in its purest form– on time as ever. “No More No Show” comes in hot from the get-go: galloping snare rolls, raved-up breakbeats, uplifting pads, big basslines, acid licks, and the low-end wubs that have become synonymous with the Punctuality sound. One for that point in the night when the dancefloor has melted into sweaty, eyes-closed, hands-up amorphia.

Barely recognisable to its original counterpart, the Rhyw remix strips the A1 down to the bare essentials. Preserving only a few percussive elements, the euphoria of No More No Show is replaced with hazy, cinematic synth washes that drone around a skeletal groove loaded with bassweight, warping the original into a dubbed out psychedelic UK stepper. Shifting to the morning light, “Only Froggerz” is a shimmering roller that ebbs and flows around barreling kick drums, kaleidoscopic synth lines, and vaporous FX, with lustrous chord work driving the emotion dial to 11. Elegant and restrained but relentlessly pummeling, it’s early-morning club gear at its finest.

Rounding out the EP with an essential slice of modern prog, “Close” utilises all the good bits: skippy basslines, filtered squelches, tribal-leaning percussion, and a relentless groove that builds around the subtle interplay between the stabs and the vocals. After a very long silence, Wasser Bassin proudly presents Christine Fowler‘s third album, Anthology Of Oddities!

Almost ten years after her last effort, Christine returns with a handful of diverse and unique tracks. On the A-side, the skillfully crafted field recording, ‘Arctic Exortation”, which, literally, breaks the listener’s ice, is followed by the morse encoded distress of “Sinking Vessel Mayday. “Now There Has Been A Delay” and “Elegy For Dead Guitars” both work as somewhat melodic, somewhat tense acoustic guitar innuendos.

The B-side starts off with the long and epic ‘An Unfinished Portrait For Peter And Jean-Luc’, an actual soundtrack for things that never came to life; whilst, the brief and minimal, “Crevasse” ends the album in a sort of synth-like meditation.

So, there you go. It is all brand new and limited to 100 copies!

SCHWARM (Martinou Remix)
Martinou reshapes SCHWARM into fluid sound currents and a glowing, hypnotic arpeggio. Intimate yet euphoric, it's a slow-burning dream. He and Harald Björk first connected through Myspace in 2008. Martinou has since released on Nous'klaer and Mule Musiq, among others.

SCHWARM (Sniper Mode Remix)
Gregor Tresher revives Sniper Mode with sharp 808 electro - minimal, deep, precise. After meeting Björk via Cocoon, the link continued through Break New Soil.

ALUCO (Revisited)
Björk reworks his Cocoon Recordings release into a deeper, more spacious trance journey. A staple in his live sets and championed by Ida Engberg and John Digweed, it returns stripped, atmospheric and hypnotic.

ALUCO (AD Remix)
AD is the deeper alias of Alexi Delano, a key figure since the SVEK era. His version drifts through nocturnal Stockholm - dubby, cold, immersive.

Pariter return with a second archival reissue from three key figures of the original London tech house movement, David Coker, Timmy S and Justin Baileys.

This double header pairs a heavyweight house groover on the A side with a rolling acid tech house cut on the flip. The A side is driven by commanding vocal samples and Timmy's finely tuned engineering, channeling the raw, sound-system focused energy that defined the era's most enduring club records.

On the B side, a relentless acid-fuelled roller emerges from the vaults, a secret weapon that has remained deadly on underground dance floors for more than two decades, quietly championed by those in the know.

Now, 26 years on, original copies are nearly impossible to find in clean condition with rare copies regularly changing hands for hundreds of euros on the collector's market.

Carefully restored and remastered by Yossi Amoyal, this reissue revives a long lost and highly sought after underground classic.

Seeking to build with the remnants of forgotten sounds, Mystery Friend is a channel through which all these elements flow and take on meaning, generating a new timeless concept where past and future coexist in harmony. Acid Tracks EP is the debut release from Sebucan Records (SEBR001), a record store based in Montevideo, Uruguay, founded and led by Louis Merlán, a DJ and selector with over 20 years of experience in the electronic music scene. Produced by Argentine artist Mystery Friend, the EP comes wrapped in a visual identity by Uruguayan designer Diego Prado, translating the sonic concept into imagery of analog machinery and vintage mechanisms, weaving a dialogue between the industrial and the mystical that echoes the music from start to finish. Bordello A Parigi Distribution carries this release beyond Uruguay’s borders and into record shops and collectors’ hands around the world. Acid Tracks EP is an invitation to lose yourself in the groove, to let the ancestral and the futuristic merge into a single pulse. This 2 x 12-inch vinyl release is a reissue of the original soundtrack to the animated feature Ambient Trip Commander. With a running time of 70 minutes, the soundtrack was first performed as a live synthesizer improvisation by Danny Wolfers (Legowelt) at the film's premiere on May 28, 2022, at EYE Filmmuseum. Wolfers continued to perform the soundtrack live at numerous subsequent screenings before releasing it on cassette on August 4, 2023. The 2026 vinyl reissue presents the compositions in four parts, aiming to put weight on the listening experience as a cohesive album.

Ambient Trip Commander is a hand-drawn and painted feature-length animated film by Danny Wolfers (Legowelt), marking his first feature in the medium. The animation brings Wolfers' paintings to life through frame-by-frame watercolor techniques. The production process spanned eighteen months.
The film follows Samantha Tapferstern, a geeky young woman who works a mundane job at a synthesizer store in a medium-sized European city. She spends her nights playing RPGs and browsing dating apps. One day, she receives a train ticket and a cryptic message from a hacker group inviting her to Lonetal, a secluded village deep in the European Alps. As she boards the night train, a sinister adventure begins to unfold.

This is a remixes album of DJ Funny and Bojvck's album, *Horse To Horse*. Two Korean artists remixed two tracks from the album respectively; the track "Different W/M" was handled by deung, an ambiguous and mysterious artist collective, and features excellent experimental electronic sounds. The B-side was handled by L-like, one of Korea's most talented producers and DJs, and is impressive for its witty percussion and effects. It is a remixes album where you can experience a fresh vibe, as the remixes were performed by artists who play music different from the original tracks.

Casimir Liberski reimagines the golden era of video game soundtracks with jazz versions of Zelda favorites The Legend of Zelda (1986), A Link to the Past (1991), Link's Awakening (1993), and Oscarina of Time (1998) - plus a few Easter eggs! Dancing between nostalgia and avant-garde, the Brussels-born pianist and composer crafts a sonic world of pixelated folklore where melody and improvisation coexist in harmony.

Func Records makes its debut with a release by Berlin-based live duo Catem & Arsonic. Arsonic opens Side A with funk-leaning, groove-driven techno. Rhythmic, warm, and direct. Glasgow techno institution Soma Records celebrate 35 years with specially-curated SOMA35 EP remix series Celebrating a truly vital and enduring presence in the global techno landscape, Soma Records’ 35 Year anniversary project will be brought to life through a series of specially-curated remix EPs. Co-founded in 1991 by the iconic electronic music duo Slam, Dave Clarke, and Glenn Gibbons, the Glasgow-based Soma label is a techno institution. With a long-standing reputation for quality and longevity, the imprint has played a foundational role in the development of techno both in the UK and worldwide, and in the discovery and support of exceptional musical talent. Showcasing the breath of Soma’s reach across the techno scene past and present, the SOMA35 EP project brings together a selection of the biggest names in techno that Slam and Soma have worked with over the years, alongside new artists whose sound naturally aligns with the label’s distinct sonic identity. It’s only fitting that label heads Slam kick off this landmark project, marking a colossal milestone - the label’s 700th release - with ‘SOMA 35.1’. This specially-curated release features powerful reinterpretations of Slam’s seminal track “Vapour” by Mark Broom and FJAAK, alongside fresh remixes of the classic “Program” by Vril and Linear Phase.

Very very very pleased to be able to put this release out, as so many of these Phineus II tracks have been mainstays in my sets for a number of years & it feels good to finally have them out for everyone else to be able to hear and enjoy.

To me, these tunes fully represent the unique sound and style that only he can capture in his music. It was hard to narrow the track pool down to a 4 track EP, so it had to be expanded to an 8 track release, featuring some of my favourite tunes of his, some of which have been unreleased for close to a decade!

Big up to Phineus II for his one of a kind production skills & ideas & to Kid Lib for his archiving of these tunes & for allowing me to release some of these tracks, as some of them were marked for release on his label Green Bay Wax.

Milan's Dirty Channels bring their polished club sound to RNT with the Jungle Echoes EP, seamlessly marrying influences of various international dance-floor vibes. Guilty and its accompanying Guilty (Dub) have a euphoric energy that feels predestined for Euro festival season, while the uptempo and hypnotic Semliki incorporates elements of South African Kwaito. Rounding out the EP is the deeply brooding title track which evokes the proto house sonics of 90s Chicago and NYC making the Jungle Echoes EP the duos strongest production statement to date and an eminently playable 12 Inch.

Phonica unveil the first in a series of three 12" samplers featuring a selection of tracks from their new compilation 'Ten Years Of Phonica'.

Tigersushi and Crowdspacer boss Joakim kicks off the first 12" with melancholic masterpiece 'EAHR'. A prolific and sonically diverse producer, his balearic-flavoured remixes over the years for the likes of Antena and Max Berlin shines through on this one. Up next is the enigmatic Panoram, a shop favourite since his brilliant 'Accents' 12" arrived back in 2012. The lysergic 'Alpha Marmara' hits all the right spots once again.

On the b-side edit-masters and rare record connaisseurs Psychemagik contribute the string-laden 'Triumph Of The Gods', an ambitious Axelrod-esque modern funk gem. Finally, Alex Egan resurrects his work as The Draughtsman one last time with the previously unreleased track 'Fade To Green' - a deep, atmospheric house/techno cut recorded during the same 2010/11 sessions as his '1694 EP'.

Phonica Records was established in September 2003 and set up shop in Soho, London, adding to the high concentration of independent records stores that inhabited the area. Founders; Simon Rigg, Heidi Vanden Amstel and Tom Relleen joined The Vinyl Factory with the aim of creating an exciting outlet for innovative dance music, traversing all sub-genres and cultures. Over the past decade the emporium has developed into a well-respected destination for DJs and enthusiasts, and has subsequently become a bustling hive of conversation and inspiration as part of a wider community of music lovers.

While trends and movements in music have grown and faded over these years, Phonica has always remained in a state of evolution. It is this openness to change alongside a commitment to it's original ethos and an enduring ardour for quality, cutting-edge sounds that has fuelled the shop's staying power.

To celebrate reaching this milestone, Phonica Records have invited some of their favourite artists to produce a track for an eclectic yet cohesive compilation, which will hopefully go some way towards sonically unfolding the 'Ten Years of Phonica.'
