For the last decade and change, Lazarusman has steadily worked his way towards becoming a seminal voice in electronic music. In that time, he has left no genre untouched, bringing his brand of metaphysical, pun-heavy, imagery-driven, uplifting poetry to audiences across the globe.

These exploits have earned him a 2021 Grammy nomination and countless chart-topping records with some of the most remarkable producers in the industry.

His debut album, Skin, is an exploration of identity. Lazarusman questions his place in the world, reflecting on growing up in a now-free South Africa. The album touches on colourism, racism, faith, love and the existential crisis of existing in a divided world.

The album is also a celebration of the many genres that inspire his poetry from deep, tech and Afro house to breakbeats and jazz. But it is equally a celebration of the word, and the power it carries.

Non Series marks its 15th anniversary with a special compilation gathering artists from different backgrounds whose music reflects the spirit and musical identity of the label. Most have never released original music on Non Series, but their individual approaches and distinctive sound fit naturally within this compilation.

An eclectic selection of tracks, ranging from hypnotic sequences and intricate percussion to heavy low-end pressure and deep atmospheres, coexists without following a predetermined formula, allowing each contribution to retain its own character.

Rather than presenting a chronological retrospective, the compilation offers a snapshot of the label's ongoing evolution, bringing together artists from different backgrounds and generations whose work finds a natural connection with the Non Series aesthetic.

Coflo's editing style fits that ethos particularly well with Edits Collection imprint. His work typically blends deep house, Afro-Latin rhythms, jazz influences, and organic percussion, while preserving the musicality of the original recordings. Across his edit projects, he tends to avoid over-processing and instead focuses on extending grooves, strengthening arrangements, and enhancing dancefloor impact.

Jeroen Search lands on Voyager under his sci-fi "Echelon" alias with a stunningly deep 8 track album, available as always on Vinyl and Digital. Jeroen has been at the pinnacle of Techno music for a number of decades and has released on countless major techno labels, As Echelon, he has released on Jeff Mills' Axis Records and also on Srie Records Argentina. On Voyager, the remit was to go experimental with nothing off limits, and it shows within this stunning album.

Greek producer, Lex (Athens) returns to Delusions of Grandeur with a four-track excursion into the deeper, more playful corners of house music, bringing together dusty Chicago grooves, Mediterranean warmth, jazz-inflected instrumentation, and a little Italian cosmic weirdness along the way.

Mazouni is one of the great voices of Algerian exile music. This compilation retraces his years in France from 1969 to 1983, when he brilliantly blended Algerian popular song, yé-yé, rock and traditional music. A sharp yet affectionate chronicler of immigrant life, he recorded classics such as 20 ans en France, Clichy and Mini-Jupe. An essential body of work, bridging cultures and telling the story of immigration through music, with a modernity that remains strikingly relevant today.

Dja Dja is Marina Herlop"s most ambitious work yet, blending emotional intensity, self-affirmation, and cathartic release into a deeply personal musical journey. Conceived as a single interconnected piece, the album follows an intricate structure inspired by the Hero"s Journey while remaining open to individual interpretation. Combining avant-garde experimentation, classical composition, orchestral brass, and Balinese gamelan, it expands Herlop"s sonic palette in bold new directions. Entirely self-released and largely handcrafted, Dja Dja reflects Herlop"s commitment to artistic autonomy and music as a self-sufficient form of storytelling.

After establishing their identity with their debut EP, Alma de Baile, Geneva-based duo Roshâni unveil Planet R, their first album, set for release on October 15, 2026, via Stonepixels and distributed by The Orchard.

More than just a record, Planet R is a world of its own: a planet shaped like a disco ball, where languages blend, synthesizers intertwine with organic grooves, and dancing becomes a form of futuristic therapy. Sung in Farsi, Spanish, French, and English, the album moves freely between futuristic disco, alternative pop, experimental electronic music, and contemplative ballads, never seeking to belong to a single scene or territory.

Spitzt die Ohren, und ihr werdet es hören - Pat-Metheny-artige, klare, ausgefallene Gitarrenklänge, die geduldig zu trägen, hypnotischen, an Steve Reich erinnernden mathematischen Sackgassen geschichtet werden; ineinandergreifende Hackbretter und Vibraphone, die fallen und wogen wie an einem seltenen Tag mit starkem Schneefall in einer Stadt im Süden; die leisen und selbstbewussten Gesänge von Patrick Phelan und Nathan Lambdin, untermalt von den gleichmäßigen Rhythmen des Schlagzeugers Tod Parkhill. Bei der Erstveröffentlichung bezeichneten wir das Projekt aus Richmond, Virginia, als ,Exegese der großen Ambient-Rock-Momente des 20. Jahrhunderts". Daran halten wir fest. Doch bei näherer Betrachtung und mit dem Rückblick auf fast 30 Jahre seit der Veröffentlichung der LP sind ihre kleinen, kniffligen Schätze erst richtig zur Entfaltung gekommen. Es fällt schwer, keinen Vergleich zu einer zeitgenössischeren Künstlergeneration anzustellen, wenn man ,South 1998" wiederentdeckt, das nun aus SEO-Gründen umbenannt wurde (wer hätte das damals gedacht!?!?). Der experimentelle Slowcore-Experimentalismus von Escho Records aus Kopenhagen und ML Buch; ein bisschen von den Vorreitern der Cloudrock-Szene (und Jag-Labelkollegen) Chanel Beads; eine ganze Reihe von Veröffentlichungen des angesehenen (und unterschätzten) norwegischen Labels Hubro. Aber es verdient auch einen Platz im Regal neben seinen zeitgenössischen ,Post-irgendwas"- und ,Pre-irgendwas"-Kollegen von damals - Tortoise, Bark Psychosis, The Sea & Cake. ,South" von 1998, ein unbestrittener Jagjaguwar-Klassiker, war an sich nie verloren gegangen, aber wir haben es für euch wiederentdeckt - zum ersten Mal überhaupt auf Vinyl, als Teil unserer Feierlichkeiten zum 30-jährigen Jubiläum.

Alles spaltet sich. le_mol loopen. Was bleibt? SPLIT SPLIT - ihr 6. Post-Rock-Album (Noise Appeal Records). Während manche Spaltungen unvermeidlich ("Splitsville"), erzwungen ("Splitter") oder sogar pathologisch ("Split Brain") sind, wirken viele Spaltungen vermeidbar und durch bestimmte diskursive Kräfte vorangetrieben ("Split The Rich"). Würde man Spaltungen jedoch immer weiter aufspalten, käme es dann nicht zu einer Rückkehr von Nuancen, Meinungspluralität und Gemeinschaft? SPLIT SPLIT. Da bei den Instrumentalstücken von le_mol Wort und Musik getrennt sind, dienen die Titel jedoch ohnehin bestenfalls als Interpretationshinweise. Eine Ausnahme bilden die existentialistischen Lyrics von The Zew ("Split Tongue") - einer selbsternannten Cyborg Folk Musikerin aus Wien. Das Konzept setzt sich fort in den Collagen und Monotypien der wienerischen Künstlerin Hanna Hollmann. Musikalisch bietet 'SPLIT SPLIT' eine Mischung aus melancholischem Post-Rock und Shoegaze ergänzt durch Elemente aus Post-Punk, Ambient und Industrial. Der Einsatz mehrerer Loop-Stations ermöglicht es den beiden Multiinstrumentalisten wie eine fünfköpfige Band zu klingen und sorgt für überrasche Wendungen im Songwriting, die gängige Hörgewohnheiten herausfordern. Mit "Autosmile", ihrem Debüt für das Label 4AD, schärft das US-Duo @ (At) sein unverwechselbares Profil zwischen psychedelischem Folk, Indie-Rock und experimentellem Pop. Die Songwriter:innen Victoria Rose und Stone Filipczak entwickelten ihre Musik zunächst über Jahre hinweg aus der Distanz. Auf dem Nachfolger ihres vielbeachteten Debüts Mind Palace Music bündeln sie diese Arbeitsweise zu einer ebenso verspielten wie ausgereiften Klangsprache. Die elf Songs von Autosmile verbinden klassische Songstrukturen mit komplexen Arrangements, ungewöhnlichen Harmonien und einer ausgeprägten DIY-Ästhetik. Obwohl Stone während der Albumarbeiten nach Philadelphia zog und beide erstmals in derselben Stadt lebten, blieb der kreative Prozess bewusst unkonventionell. Unterstützt von befreundeten Musiker:innen, die Cello, Violine und Schlagzeug beisteuerten, entstand ein überraschend üppiger Sound, der dennoch seinen intimen Charakter bewahrt. Inhaltlich bewegt sich das Album zwischen Verlust, Selbstreflexion und Hoffnung. Der Opener "Bird" verbindet düstere Folk-Klänge mit eingängigen Pop-Momenten, während der knapp siebenminütige Titeltrack "Autosmile" eine Trennungserfahrung in eine poetische Reise voller mystischer Bilder und existenzieller Fragen verwandelt. Songs wie "I Know You Are (But What Am I Thinking)" feiern die Schönheit von Veränderung und Vergänglichkeit, während "Punish My Mind" das Spannungsfeld zwischen Selbstbestrafung und Selbstfürsorge auslotet.
