Blue System is the studio project founded by Dieter Bohlen after the break-up of the iconic synth-pop/Eurodisco duo Modern Talking. Bohlen, prolific as he is, took care of composing, writing, producing, mixing, arranging, and of course singing, while hiring session musicians for additional voices and instruments. The project ended up producing 13 albums over a span of about 10 years before being retired in favour of Bohlen's many other projects.
Hello America is the seventh album, released in 1992. It contained 11 new tracks all penned by Bohlen, of which "I Will Survive" and "Romeo & Juliet" were released as singles. The album eventually peaked at #29 on the German Albums chart. Now, after almost 25 years, we're reissuing it on vinyl for the first time.

Originally released in 2006, Radiohead tribute album Exit Music: Songs with Radio Heads returns to its original home at BBE Music, two decades on from its debut. Featuring eclectic cover versions of Radiohead’s songs by Mark Ronson, Bilal, Sia, Meshell Ndegeocello, Questlove Sa-Ra, The Cinematic Orchestra, Osunlade and Matthew Herbert to name but a few, the album gave BBE Music its first Top 40 single in the UK with Mark Ronson’s cover of “Just”, and has gone on to become an enduring classic, paving the way for many similar projects in the years since (like BBE's David Bowie tribute Modern Love and Naive Melodies, a tribute to the Talking Heads). Twenty years later, with several of its contributors now major names in their own right, its reputation as a genre-bending classic has only grown. People get confused about cover versions. They are a labour of love, not some sort of disrespectful treatment of the classics. Everyone involved in the "Exit Music" project loves the music of Radiohead; "Songs with Radio Heads" doesn't attempt to replace the originals as "definitive versions." Instead, like the Futureheads cover of Kate Bush or the Slits cover of Marvin Gaye, this is an exercise in translating well-loved tracks into a different genre. "Exit Music" also taps into the dance-floor potential of Radiohead, long recognised by DJs and producers ranging from Burial and Flying Lotus to Kendrick Lamar. The band themselves are devotees of both hip hop and dance music, commissioning remixes from respected figures such as Modeselektor, Madlib, DJ Shadow and Four Tet. Now a bona fide cult favourite, this 20th-anniversary reissue collects together the finest hip hop and dance cover versions of Radiohead songs. BATTISTINO, the artistic alias of Marco Battistini, is an Italian musician, songwriter, producer and DJ. His project is rooted in the meeting point between Italo Disco, French Electro, late-’70s Disco Music and Italian pop culture, reinterpreted through a contemporary vision that avoids nostalgia in favor of a distinctive sonic identity. His main influences include the aesthetic vision of Daft Punk, the musical freedom of Daniele Baldelli’s Cosmic Sound, the international disco movement of the late 1970s, and the golden era of Italian Italo Disco, with a special admiration for Righeira. His productions combine driving synth grooves, pulsating basslines and immediate melodies. Gritty electronic drums, saturated synthesizers and subtle harmonic distortion deliberately break away from the polished sound traditionally associated with classic Italo Disco. The result is a more physical and textured sonic palette that preserves the melodic elegance at the heart of the project. BATTISTINO’s visual identity follows the same philosophy. Elegant, reserved and almost bureaucratic, he prefers to remain behind the scenes rather than at the center of attention. More than a performer, he acts as the curator of a sonic archive, where every track represents a fragment of a larger story.
“Il Segreto” is the opening chapter of a conceptual trilogy inspired by an affair that was never revealed, set on the Italian Riviera in the early 1980s. Rather than telling the story itself, the project explores what remains: silence, forgotten details, invisible traces and memories suspended in time. Music, visual design and imagery all become chapters of the same narrative. Every release is a new file, every track a recovered document, every production another fragment of a story that will never be fully disclosed. BATTISTINO doesn’t tell stories. He preserves them. Earth's new Trees collection brings together both albums adding shiny alternate mixes of key tracks along with a selection of radio sessions and demos, all sounding brighter and cleaner than ever before. Trees first album, 'The Garden of Jane Delawney' (1970) snuggles nicely into contemporary nu-folkies' idea of the genre, and shares some of the pastoral-whimsy that characterised The Incredible String Band or Donovan, offset by some stunning interpretations of traditional material and Bias' own songs, which were somehow part of the tradition Trees had adopted. Readings of 'Lady Margaret', 'Glasgerion' and the old standard 'She Moved Thro' The Fair', and the extended fade of the group's own 'Road', presage the explosive instrumental duelling that would come to characterise the follow up album, 'On The Shore'. There's a definite shift between the records, the second being darker and more ambivalent. Here Trees don't tell you what to think. You're left to formulate your own response to this odd, opaque music. The 'Streets of Derry' session version leans into the brain vibrating drone-groove they somehow found at the traditional tune's centre. 'Polly On The Shore', another traditional tune, is one of the definitive moments of English folk rock. This special expansive collector's edition celebrates the bands 50th anniversary. In late 2025, Manchester producer Psychederek established the Via Jupiter label as an outlet for his work.
For the label's fourth release, Psychederek returns with 'The Right Side Of The Ocean', a guitar and percussion themed record that drifts somewhere between balearic pop, new age and loose-limbed disco.
Danny Ward's percussion runs throughout, giving the record a warm, organic pulse beneath its hazy melodies.
'Saint Joan' sets sail with a nostalgic, guitar-led groove, easing us into the world of the EP.
From there, things get a little baggier on 'Aire Salado', a Happy Mondays-adjacent pop song built around Stan Lewis' catchy saxophone riff, with Lois Holmes' backing vocals adding another layer of laidback charm.
'In The Sun' settles deeper into the groove, built around repeating vocal and guitar hooks, dreamy synth pads and a deep, rolling bass line.
Then comes 'Central Drive', where the tempo lifts and the record heads towards disco territory. Its roto-tom driven breakdown takes its time, opening up the groove before eventually slipping back into the track's main synth riff.
Finally, 'Everything Settles' brings things back around, dissolving into an ambient reprise of the opening track. The guitars give way to synths, the vocals become a repeating mantra and the whole thing slowly drifts off into full new-age bliss.
After continuing to refine the space between House and Techno across a string of acclaimed releases, Portuguese producer Alfonsvs returns to his own imprint Kokölò with his most dancefloor-focused statement yet. Ready for the summer and with the festival season in full swing, Need Your Love EP sees the Porto-based artist embrace classic house influences without losing the energy and depth that have become his signature.
Opening with the title track, 'Need Your Love' wastes no time setting the tone as driving analogue drums, uplifting old-school piano chords and soulful vocal samples combine into an infectious peak-time cut built for hands-in-the-air moments. ‘In There' is a collaboration between Alfonsvs and RR, that shifts into darker territory, balancing the EP’s author intensity and eye for trippy vocal fragments with René Raabe’s spacious synth work to create an immersive late-night journey.
On remix duties, kicking-off the B-side, Amsterdam favourite Elias Mazian delivers his reinterpretation of 'Need Your Love', transforming the original into a deep rolling house workout driven by swinging drums, his soft voice and a warped, rubbery bassline that effortlessly bridges classic and contemporary club sounds.
Continuing to blur genre boundaries, 'Everybody' pairs deep, driving grooves with sharp progressive-inspired synth stabs, while closing track '6AM Liberation' rounds out the EP with hypnotic rhythms, subtle acid flourishes and the unmistakable feeling of sunrise after a long night on the dance floor.

Andreas Tilliander returns to Kontra-Musik in a grand style with his second TM404 album. Titled 'Acidub', this highly anticipated release is much more of an evolution than a repetition of the first superbly self-restricted album, where Tilliander even decided to use only one of the two Roland TB-303 waveforms. Acidub is a more playful and open listening experience, no doubt inspired by his extensive live touring with the TM404 concept. In fact, you can almost hear Tilliander's flock of acid machines breaking free from the restrained modus operandi. Every sound is like a migratory bird with a heart yearning for high altitude and favourable winds. The opening track Alinge paints a lucid picture of these acid birds leaving a cold industrial landscape behind, the flickering black shadows from their wings against the white smoke rising from a forest of chimneys below. The very last seconds of Alinge even echo of the place the silver birds are longing for, but that will remain a secret between Kontra-Musik and the avid listener. Sufficient to say, we can follow these birds of passage as they're heading south towards a warmer climate, fleeing the cold discipline of the North. Mutron Mantra, for instance, brings us to a rainforest full of serpentine lianas, giant leaves dripping with moist and green pools of water bubbling with organic life. Don't Defend Mascot guides us through a steaming savannah at dusk with hundreds of yellow eyes following our every step while Pade vividly describes the perils of the flight and the pace and courage needed to press on. In all, Acidub is a surprisingly exuberant follow-up to the more introspective TM404 album. But while the musical journey of this second album is quite different, the experience of sheer aural eminence remains the same. Andreas Tilliander has done it again, and Kontra-Musik couldn't be prouder.
It’s Italian time! Sam Ruffillo is back. Sicilian producer doing smooth Balearic disco with Italian vocals. The direction is clear: Sam Ruffillo's music brings us back into the Italian riviera and the hippy days of Ibiza in the late 1970ies. Even his way of production is similar to how the early days disco producers in Italia used to work: No samples needed. Instead a few guest musicians come to jam over Sam's beats in his Italian studio space. Guitar, bass, percussions. Sam later makes the production and added keyboard solos and put together the vibes into what is this new EP.
The girl voice comes from NINFA. It’s the classic studio story: Ninfa is a singer and DJ and friend of Sam. She was hanging at the studio while Sam was finishing these tracks. She stated to sing along... the words came up spontaneously… so they decided to record her and finally decided to keep them. The vibe was too good. Why talk English if u can do it better: in Italian! :)
This is second for Toy Tonics after his Sport House EP from last year. Sam also appeared on the solo record of Joel Holmes on Toy Tonics. Together with Kapote Modica he co-produced and made the beats on that record. Now Sam is back with this pure Italian EP. Rooted in raw, minimal, dubby and emotional music, the Amsterdam-based Label Delver focuses on expressive recordings rather than polished productions, with releases that wander across genres.
The label’s first vinyl EP grew out of a shared passion for hardware jams between three friends, who regularly come together for live performances. Recorded in the afterglow of the summer of 2025, Delve Deeper Vol.1 brings together four tracks that combine from deep and hypnotic to more ambient and experimental territories.
Vand joins the roster with a collaboration with Holotropic, adding his singular interpretation of techno to the record. Each artist brings their perspective and while dub techno is the common ground here, the record explores a variety of its expressions.
Holotropic opens with “Sabra”, a patient, raw dub techno cut with subtle traces of the deeper Vril catalogue. Sasemoi’s “Those Who Seek” heads into more ethereal territory, its rhythm gradually surrounded by layers of sound that seem to pull the track upwards. “Binary” goes further into Sasemoi’s more experimental side, with broken rhythms and a heavier dub presence. Closing the record, Vantropic’s “Rift” shifts towards ambient and IDM, built from textured sounds and open space rather than a conventional dancefloor structure.
Born from a summer of shared sessions, Delve Deeper Vol.1 carries something of that time with it: the closeness of playing together, the freedom of improvisation, and a shared love of dub techno.
“For Men Only” was released in America in June 1980. Jackson was shown on the front and back cover being fawned over by three attractive black male models. Musically and lyrically it was a concept album, like her previous LPs “Caught Up” (1974), Still Caught Up” (1975) and “Get It Out’cha System” (1978). The main theme was the battle of the sexes in and out of the bedroom with some tracks, especially on side one – ‘This Is Where I Came in’, ‘This Is It’, ‘If That Don’t Turn You On’ and ‘I Wish That I Could Hurt That Way Again’ – segueing into the next through Jackson’s spoken word segments. The album sounded like it could form the basis of stage play and was laced with wit and humour with Jackson, at one point, taking aim at out of work men “watching soap operas all day” and neglecting their chores around the house and in the bedroom. Every song was a gem, with Jackson in the finest vocal form of her career.
This album has not been available on vinyl for decades and Ace Records are delighted to rewax it, not only for Millie Jackson fans but a new generation, who are discovering that class never goes out of fashion.
Yr Knives is a Chicago instrumental quartet built around two very different guitar voices. The band came together sideways: composer Paul Karner wanted guitarists Andrew Trim and Brian Sulpizio to play disparate parts on a recording of his own, and when the two finally rehearsed together, a band fell into focus. Trim leads the groups Hanami and Retroreflector; Sulpizio is the constant behind Health and Beauty. Anchoring them are two Chicago mainstays, bassist Douglas McCombs (Tortoise, Eleventh Dream Day) and drummer Quin Kirchner. Two of them come up as rock and roll players, two as jazz players, and the music lives in how closely they listen across those languages.
Their debut, Begin Yr Singing, centers on two overdriven guitars merging into something neither could produce alone, over a rhythm section that can lock a groove or let it drift. The result is exploratory but grounded, "a searching music," in Trim's words, that asks questions it doesn't always answer and shifts from one performance to the next. Recorded live in a single room at Chicago's Palisade studio with Nick Broste engineering and mixed by Cooper Crain with Sulpizio, the six tracks draw on Sonny Sharrock, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Albert Ayler, Erik Satie, and Television. The band has toured supporting The Messthetics.
Match Box continue an unstoppable run of form. Following their 2026 12” on Neptune Discs and relentless support from Job Jobse, they link with Amsterdam’s Mixolydian for a summer-closing split that marks their debut on the label. The record brings Mixolydian’s slick tech-house sensibility together with Match Box’s vibrant prog palette.

London duo Kassian trade darkness for daylight on Gradients, their third EP for !K7 Records
The EP arrives as a bridge between last year's debut album and a new live show and sophomore LP, due in 2027
As Kassian, Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers continue to sit apart from any one scene. Their fruitful relationship with !K7 has spanned eclectic and global club cuts, including the spatial breaks and bass of 2024's best-selling Supercontinent EP. 2025's debut album, Channels, emerged from lockdown so leaned slow, downtempo and introspective, but this new EP points toward a clubbier, more physical direction that will carry through into album two.
Crucially, the record was written and played live on an array of studio gear rather than assembled piece by piece in the box. It's a way of building towards their first fully live show in 2027 - a hands-on, jam-first approach that leads to "happy accidents" and the unpredictable textures that hardware throws up and no amount of in-the-box planning can replicate.
Gradients is built for the floor without playing to trends and marks some of the duo's most melodic work to date. Rather than sitting purely in heads-down territory, the EP folds in hooks and vocal fragments that lift you out of the smoke and the shadows of the club. The low ends are still rooted in techno with potent drums and bass, but deft vocal hooks and subtle melodies bring a brightness that deliberately steers away from the darker, meaner aesthetic dominating much of dance music right now.
Vocal touches throughout nod to what's going on in the wider underground without tethering to tried and tested tropes. Opener 'Blush' rides warm, soft yet bold melodic riffs, looping in arcs over a hunched, speedy tech house groove. 'Ritmo' is a muscular bouncer with spring-loaded bass, 'Inner Dance' has lurching drums and a cavernous rhythm with vocals that make a playful nod to sound system culture. Last but not least, 'Sweat' is the brightest and most bubbly cut on the EP, with a tight techno low end infused with a velvety whispered vocal.
The Gradients EP is a bright, hardware-built prelude to Kassian's next chapter and a typically well-crafted four-tracker that pairs physical weight with classy emotional release.

Rotterdam’s Nathan Homan jumps into the Spectral Bounce spotlight on SPEC09 — Frog Mine. These three cuts of mesmeric tech house roll, slip and spring from the speakers.
His Spectral Bounce debut is exemplified by punchy percussion playing against obscured, otherworldly sonics — something Homan has a particular instinct for, and which slot seamlessly into the SPEC catalog. Starting proceedings with a taut beat, snappy drums and hallucinatory croaks, the titular “Frog Mine” creates a hypnotic trip. Second track “Hyp” is a well-honed tech house roller: its adeptly slinking rhythm hearkens back to the 00’s, yet this framework is expanded upon with alien timbres and pinwheeling FX. Larry Thompson and Rick Lenoir AKA LNR were early house pioneers who dropped seminal cuts from the late 80s onwards, but few had the impact of their debut, ‘Work It To The Bone’.

The opening Louie Vega Mix dials into the original’s tribal energy with a chunky, bouncing groove and hard-hitting percussion, then layers in more synths, effects, and drama to the full-fat sound. It’s a sweaty, steamy affair with a constant sense of momentum as the arrangement evolves, different hooks take the lead, and the pressure stays high. In addition to a DJ Tool Acapella and Louie Vega Beats mix, Wade Teo remixes the track with a deeper groove and dusty drums. It’s a more subtle, heads-down sound but packed with the same edge and rawness that made the original so standout.

Continuing his compelling exploration of dubwise pressure at 170, the relentlessly prolific Brendon Moeller returns to Samurai Music with six stunning demonstrations of purposeful minimalism and spatial intrigue. Arriving in tandem with a second EP of introspective meditations on Samurai sub label SAIBAI, Codebreaker finds Moeller's peerless run of shadowy broken dub techno yielding startling new forms as the upstate New York artist continues to mine a rich seam of inspiration.
There's a pronounced economy of sound exacted on Codebreaker that binds the tracks together aesthetically, taken to the furthest reaches of subtlety on 'Dorian Grey Frequencies' as filigree slithers of percussion skitter across a brooding surface of sub bass with little in the way of distraction. This approach allows the microscopic detail of Moeller's engineering to shine through, as every inflection and murmur crackles with lithe movement to give each track its captivating energy.
Fractured beatdowns creep into earshot on 'Static Possession', edging towards Gescom-informed B-boy structures head-spinning in cryo-stasis surrounded by the hum of machines from a distant future and punctuated with occasional bullet points of delay soaked acid. Even when the bass starts to snarl and the hi-hats start ticking faster on 'Interzone Pulse', they're managed with brutal precision and a narrative flow of anti-build-ups that maintains a nail-biting tension throughout.
The decision to lean into a stripped-back sound on Codebreaker shows the faith Moeller places in his particular interpretation of bassweight 170, as his jaw-dropping sound design speaks volumes with the most modest of lexicons in a dialect never heard before.

For two decades, The Oscillation has occupied its own space within the psychedelic underground, continually reshaping a sound built as much from texture, repetition and atmosphere as it is from conventional songcraft. On 'Interference', released October 30th 2026 via Fuzz Club, Demian Castellanos pushes that approach further than ever, creating what he describes as "a painting of sound rather than music”. It’s an album where noise and melody constantly collide, dissolve and reform into something strangely beautiful: “I wanted it to be accessible but also quite extreme, a sort of beautiful noise. I did my best to push out the parameters whilst trying not to allow it to disintegrate into something with no meaning or focus.” Chasing an elusive balance between accessibility and abstraction, the result is a record that feels simultaneously immediate and disorientating: dense layers of drones, feedback and motorik rhythms give way to unexpected moments of warmth, colour and even uplifting euphoria. Across its runtime, chaos never overwhelms; instead it becomes another instrument, carefully sculpted into hypnotic, immersive compositions. Much of the album emerged through instinct rather than intention. Fragments originally conceived as intros, outros or abandoned ideas gradually eclipsed the songs they belonged to, with tracks revealing themselves organically through a process Castellanos likens to "playing Chinese whispers with musical instruments." Elsewhere, two long-forgotten compositions – ‘Stasis’ and ‘When You Close Your Eyes’ – finally found their place after lying unfinished for almost twenty years. Recorded and mixed by Castellanos at his home studio in the Czech Republic, ‘Interference’ also benefits from a key collaboration with Lorena Quintanilla of Mexican band Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, who provides a transformative presence. Her haunting vocal on ‘La Alusion’ (which she also wrote the lyrics and melody for) became the breakthrough moment that crystallised the album, turning an instrumental sketch into a dreamlike centrepiece and helping shape the final sequence. She also lends her voice to ‘Isolation Freeway’, adding another layer of mystery to an album that continually blurs the line between structure and dissolution. Perhaps most remarkably, ‘Interference’ was created during a period in which Castellanos had largely stopped listening to music altogether: “My hi-fi broke a couple of years ago so I kind of wanted to see what would happen if I didn’t listen to too much music.” Instead of consciously absorbing outside influences, he trusted instinct, memory and experimentation to guide the process. The result is one of The Oscillation's most adventurous and emotionally resonant records to date: a vivid collision of hypnotic repetition, spectral beauty and controlled sonic disruption that confirms Castellanos remains one of modern psychedelia's most singular voices.

"To the future, through the past"—with their fifteenth studio album, "Time Lab," Dieter Meier and Boris Blank put this maxim into practice more vividly than ever. Blank meticulously crafts his imaginary soundtracks from fresh samples and found objects from his own archive, which has accumulated a vast collection of sonic fragments, riffs, and motifs over nearly fifty years of creative work. Meier immerses himself in these parallel soundscapes, discovering within them his romantic tales of robbers, mysterious night creatures, and Dadaist wordplay. Essentially, every Yello track is both ancient and brand new at the same time. This principle is perfectly illustrated by the first single, "Around the Sun." It's based on a dormant Meier recording that was cut at the last minute from the selection for "Claro Que Si" (1981). Blank gave Meier's sonorous voice a fresh sonic makeover – the result is an elegant and flexible, thoroughly Yello-esque combination of past and present, romantic wanderlust and driving percussion. "Break Out" also plays with stylistic elements that can be traced back to Yello's earliest days: a dangerously prowling bass riff, fiery percussion, and storyteller Meier in hypnotic top form.
Time begins where it ends, or vice versa. Or, as Boris Blank says: "Yello's music doesn't really know time."

With Picture About You, Recut opens a new chapter, blending the heritage of house music, acid textures and underground electronic culture into a contemporary vision for today’s dancefloors. Rooted in the essence of club culture, the EP explores hypnotic grooves, evolving patterns and the timeless dialogue between the DJ, the sound system and the crowd, where emotion, movement and energy become a universal language. The title track, “Picture About You”, reflects Recut’s artistic identity through the lens of his personal history and family roots. An important part of this story comes from his uncle, known as Mr. Steve, who in 1975 founded one of the pioneering independent radio stations in Southern Italy during the early years of independent broadcasting. His connection with radio, disco culture and the first generation of Italian clubs embodied a spirit of discovery, sharing and musical exploration that continues to shape Recut’s approach to music.
Musically, “Picture About You” unfolds through a hypnotic and emotional groove, blending old-school character with a contemporary perspective.
