SAUCY LADY with a hot new 45 edit of her smash cover of the CARLY SIMON classic "WHY". Staying true to her boogie via hip-hop roots, she cranks up the tempo, majorly upping the energy and feel for dancing. B-side contains an instrumental version.

The reissue of SOCIAL LOVER's sophomore effort on TUGBOAT EDITIONS, after the previous sell outs of this & "FEEL MY LOVE". This edition gets a slight update with the dub/instrumental version as the B side. The A SIDE is a dubby bubbly cover of EVELYN "CHAMPAGNE" KING classic "LOVE COME DOWN".

Time to welcome Chrissy, a Chicagoan DJ, producer, edit-maker, blogger, sometime dance music historian and documenter and general hard-working mother f**ker (according to Stool Pigeon). The Smart Bar resident has had a string of top drawer releases on house labels such as Classic, Tugboat Edits, Razor N Tape and Hypercolour, not to mention his own brilliant Nite Owl Diner label which he runs with Alex Burkat. Chuck in releases for Planet Mu and running the juke/footwork label Loose Squares and you start to get the picture. This guy is a genre-bender extraordinaire and clearly a tireless and highly creative individual so we're very proud to have him join us hear for his Freerange debut.

Volume 2! MUNIR aka MIDNIGHT RUNNERS on his 5th drop with STAR CREATURE, hits us again with some diggin' deep dug ups from his corner of the world. This one picks up where his TUGBOAT EDITS VOL 14, HAUNTING ECHOES and NUSANTARA VOL 1 left off. Tidal waves of jazz funk, space disco & boogie.
