In spite of the Dutch cultural establishment's attempts to preclude jazz - as illustrated by this citation from the October 1926 issue of music magazine De Muziek - The Netherlands was one of the earliest adopters of the new music style as it came over to the Old Continent at the end of World War I.

Herman Saiz, a Chilean producer with an extensive and successful career, delights us with his organic minimal sound and mellow grooves.

Next, we have Delphie, a talented Argentinian producer, bringing the heat with an acid house breakbeat.

On the B-side we have some familiar names, Noon Do, the traveling producer, taking us on a minimal house ride with a beautiful vocal.

And Baban, a young producer who still amazes us every time with his tracks. This time with a track drenched in some surround pads and layered with a groovy bassline.

Ace Records freut sich, mit Singer-Songwriter, Ex-Pulp-Tour-Gitarrist und Sheffield-Legende Richard Hawley an diesem ersten Teil einer Compilation-Reihe mit von Hawley ausgewählten Lieblingssingles zusammenzuarbeiten. Dies ist eine Auswahl von 28 7inch-Singles, die Hawley auf seinen Tourneen gesammelt hat: Secondhand-Shop-Funde, Kneipen-Jukebox-Juwelen und alles dazwischen. Hawley bezeichnet den Klebstoff, der diese Auswahl zusammenhält, als "Little Bangers", da es sich bei allen um Mini-Handgranaten handelt; helle Lichter, die explodieren und verpuffen, einige große Namen, einige Raritäten, einige verlorene Seelen, einige Obskuritäten, einige von Künstlern, von denen er fast nichts weiß, außer dass sie ihn zum Tanzen bringen wollen. Amniote Editions team up with friends and bbs of Mala Junta for "The Collective Capsule" - a celebration of 5 years of Berlin's favorite queer event. The capsule collection consists of a 12" cordially made up of 4 belters from the residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool and D.Dan, two compilations stacked with friends and lovers and limited merch.

The capsule also launches 'Amniote Editions' return to graphic design studio Alexis Mark, who were part of the birthing of the platform and now presents their first cover design as a multilayer 12" gift - a record wrapped in a beautiful poster protected by a limited edition screen printed PVC sleeve.
