Dr. Silberman makes a welcome return to Atom Trance Force and kicks things off in 2026 with his EP 'Welcome To The Future'. Two mixes of the title track are included: The fast paced original and the trance mix. The original is a serious ode to the late 90s Hamburg hard trance sound, and you can hear the influence of labels like EDM, Tunnel & Spaceflower. For the trance mix, he brings the tempo back down to 140 and moves more towards older Positiva energy. Rounding off the EP is Friends & Enemies, keeping the energy high but the quality to match.

CER009 finally brings Pumphouse Gang – “Welcome Back Into My Life” back to the 7inch format, a killer slice of Irish modern soul perfection from 1979. Originally pressed in tiny quantities and barely escaping dublin, it’s one of those records that rarely becomes available. A favourite of label boss miche, it’s in his words “an unbeatable soul track, that really fills a dancefloor with smiles”

On the flip, Medlar steps up once again, this time sending his mix straight from the Cayman Islands — a dubbed-out, Part 2-style reprise that stretches the groove, teases the rhythm, and gives the track a second life for late-night dancefloors.

The Welcome to the Future EP explores previously uncharted territory, while still touching on the 2000s house and speed garage influences, we’ve come to expect from his productions.

The A-side kicks off with 'Bang to the Beat of This' , diving into darker territory, with moody chords, hypnotic vocals, and sirens — a whompy, peak-time speed garage cut, with serious attitude.. 'I’ll Be Careful' brings the energy, with a swingy party starter that everyone needs in their bag. Golden-era 2000s chords, a rolling bassline, and positive groove.

Flipping to the B-side, the title of the EP 'Welcome to the Future' — welcomes a playful, peak-time groove, with a stabby garage bassline. Side A 'Calling Mick' is the first of the Magari canon that leans slightly towards house but still with all the tropes of a sun soaked Italian coastline and hot summer nights. 'La Selvaggia' is classic throbbing , sultry groove with guitar riffs dancing through the arrangement taking you off in to a lost world 80’s nightclubs. The final track of the Ep 'Alden' is the more downtempoboogie affair that could be as easyily at home in the clubs
of south central LA in ’85 as the beaches of the Italian Riviera. On for Burning hearts and melancholy souls

Originally released in 1993 on DJ Phantasy’s Liquid Wax label, it has now been repressed in conjunction with Vinyl Fanatiks on coloured vinyl.

This is one of Phantasy’s many aliases. ‘Get On The Floor’ is a jungle-techno stomper, created in the same studio that invented that genre. Where as ‘Welcome To The Underworld’ has very strong Liquid Aliens vibes about it.

As always with anything on Liquid Wax, these tracks are big club releases as Phantasy was testing them out at all the raves in the early 90’s. But Phantasy always has a trick up his sleeve that makes his music sound incredibly original and still fresh to this day, 31 years later!

Welcome To My World serves as an introduction to Daniel Johnston, housing a number of his most acclaimed works. The singer-songwriter and artist earned a cult following in the early '80s, sharing homemade cassette tapes of his music, and his prominence was established after Kurt Cobain was publicly seen wearing a shirt with Johnston's illustration.

Suncraft is an underground rock band from Oslo, Norway. After appearing on the scene with their debut in 2021, they"ve ratcheted up their sound a notch in every conceivable way with their furious and fun new album Welcome To The Coven. Formed in Oslo in 2017, Suncraft built their early identity on mid-tempo stoner rock, but Welcome to the Coven shows the band has broadened their foundation significantly. They also embraced a more organic, live- recording approach on Welcome to the Mood. The group explains, "Off the back of touring the last album, we had played more shows than ever and wanted to bring more of the live element into the process, so we didn't use drum breaks and loops as much as previous records and tracked live." They continued expanding their sound by bringing in specialist musicians -- string sections, brass, pianos, and backing vocalists -- pushing the sonic possibilities beyond their individual skill sets. Yet at its core, the album remains deeply personal. Written in remote hideaways, the songs carry the tranquility of escape while capturing a newfound confidence in emotional vulnerability.

Thematically, Welcome to the Mood is a rich sonic auditory tapestry woven with threads of authenticity, humanity, and creative celebration. Der weltbekannte Künstler, Produzent und Remixer Steven Wilson hat einen Atmos-Mix sowie Stereound 5.1-Mixe für die Blu-Ray beigesteuert. Das Booklet wurde von Philip Marshall gestaltet und enthält

Das zweite Album von Runnner, A Welcome Kind of Weakness, entstand aus einem gleichzeitigen Riss im Körper und im Leben des Songwriters Noah Weinman. Während der Monate, die er im Bett verbrachte, um sich von einem Achillessehnenriss und dem drastischen Umbruch einer Trennung zu erholen, schrieb er die 11 Songs auf diesem Album, die Weinmans stärkste sind und die vermeintliche Verletzlichkeit des Albumtitels bereitwillig aufnimmt. Pharoah “Farrell” Sanders was a leading figure in the world of jazz and his tenor saxophone playing earned him a legendary status among jazz circles.

This 2LP compilation Welcome To Love features the master saxophonist playing straight-up jazz ballads and includes the bonus track “Moonlight In Vermont”. Sanders is accompanied by William Henderson on piano, Stafford James on bass and Eccleston W. Wainwright on drums.

The Dutch groove-driven heavy rock band Hell Valley High releases their highly anticipated debut-lp “Welcome To Hell Valley”. The album was recorded at Big Dog Recordings, just outside of Antwerp, Belgium. All music was recorded live to capture Hell Valley High’s true energy. The title is a nod to the legendary 1994 Kyuss album. At the same time - like the band’s name - the title is an ode to the band's favourite movie Back To The Future. “Welcome To Hell Valley” includes groovy & grungy songs and catchy fiery stoner rock tunes. The album also contains a cover of the song “Send Me A Postcard”, that was originally released in 1970 by Shocking Blue. Hell Valley High is composed of seasoned musicians who have played a lot of shows in The Netherlands and toured Europe extensively. The group features ex-members of Wildebeast, Filthy Felons, Note To Amy, Apehanger and Junkyard Safari. Black and orange coloured vinyl edition.

Wyatt Flores, is an American country music singer-songwriter and musician. EMI are please to announced his debut album Welcome To The Plains will be released in UK on 18th October. Flores told fans that the record will be released on October 18th and was inspired by his native Oklahoma and ultimate search for happiness. From stories about his life, family and many places he’s been, it is highly-anticipated by fans and was produced by Beau Bedford (Orville Peck, Shane Smith & The Saints). They recorded the songs between Los Angeles and Asheville, North Carolina (a pretty stark contrast), and the songs feature writers like Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and Aaron Raitiere, as Wyatt details the struggle of leaving his hometown of Stillwater and dealing with the highs and lows of life on the road as an up-and-coming musician.

Sunrise Pearl Vinyl. Chilli Beans. are a three-piece band from Japan, formed in 2019 by Moto (vocals), Maika (bass & vocals) and Lily (guitar & vocals). Their neo-garage style fuses indie rock with garage infused guitars and catchy melodies. Their second full-length album "Welcome to My Castle" was released on December 13th, 2024 and featured 13 songs, including the single "Raise" which was the ending song theme for the TV anime series "One Piece", as well as "I like you", the main song of the TV series "Toki wo Kakeruna, Koibito-tachi".

Written over the last two years - in Somerset, Los Angeles, and London; hotel rooms and tour vans; good places and rough patches - Welcome The Night is a mutant document of Sad Night Dynamite’s mission and scale. Deliberately chaotic, their grab-bag approach to sound creates an album ranging from dark club bangers, trippy folk, hip-hop and bugged-out storytelling. An ‘anything goes’ space that offers total creative freedom through absurdism.

BOBBY ROBINSON was more than a fixture in hisNew York community, he had been an essential part of its lifeblood for over 60 years. Had he just been the proprietor of the first record store (and reputedly the first black-owned business) on 125th Street, he would have been important enough, but he also had an ear for talent, recording landmark music across four decades, always at home with the music of his neighbourhood, be it doo-wop, R&B, soul or even rap.

He was an entrepreneur involved in over a dozen different labels, sometimes on his own, sometimes with a partner, often with his brother Danny, and he was behind records that became internationally famous by Gladys Knight, King Curtis, Elmore James, Lee Dorsey, Wilbert Harrison and Grandmaster Flash. He made many more that were simply good, and this compilation takes aim at the great work he did as a soul and R&B producer during the 1960s and early 70s. It’s an introduction that shows the quality that he created had depth beyond the headline names.

1975 was a banner year for superstar Alice Cooper with the release of the groundbreaking concept album Welcome To My Nightmare. This album showcases Cooper's theatricality, storytelling prowess, and ability to create an immersive world of horror and fantasy.

From the opening notes of the title track, "Welcome to My Nightmare," listeners are transported into a dark and twisted dreamscape. Cooper's signature blend of rock, glam, and theatricality shines throughout the album. London band Those Unfortunates release their second album, Welcome to Woodberry Down, on October 27th through Gare Du Nord Records, on LP accompanied by a limited edition photobook.
Welcome to Woodberry Down is a collection of songs about the eponymous housing estate in the London Borough of Hackney. Singer/lyricist Ben Brill’s family were among Woodberry Down’s first residents in 1950. Dubbed the estate of the future, and built on land that had previously been the preserve of the wealthy, Woodberry Down’s social homes were emblematic of a new post war optimism.
Brill’s family called Woodberry Down home for over 50 years, eventually seeing the estate fall into managed decline. Not long after his grandmother’s death in 2006, the bulldozers moved in, and the foundations were laid for a new, privately owned housing development.
Brill started work on this project in 2016. At the time a Hackney resident, he spent countless early mornings walking round the condemned – but still not quite empty - estate, and watching a new version of the future rise in its place. He took photographs, and started writing songs, inspired equally by the liminal spaces he explored, and the utopian ideals of the London County Council planners.

The band will be celebrating the album’s launch with friend Paolo Ruiu at Margate’s Tom Thumb Theatre on October 27th, and London’s Betsey Trotwood on October 28th.

London soul star Jordan Mackampa returns with a new album titled Welcome Home, Kid! out 16 February 2024 via AWAL. This new music sees Jordan come back to his love of R&B, soul, funk and gospel with references to Dru Hill and Blackstreet, producing a new sound that nods to his earlier soundcloud works and the nostalgia of his childhood. It's brazen and bold and presents an incredibly assured artist that is no longer afraid to show off their Blackness, queerness, or sexual expression in all their forms. Getting to this place has taken Jordan decades of growth, patience & gruelling lessons to reach this state and now he can stand in his Blackness proudly. This album tells the story of how he got to this place of self-worth and the stories of the varying complex but beautiful perspectives about the Black experience. He is open and honest about sex, intimacy, imposter syndrome and how he navigates healthy love, toxic heartbreak, friendships and forgiveness. The core theme of this record is introspection with Jordan explaining, “This was a big theme for me in writing a lot of these songs because no one else has lived life in my shoes, I really had to take other peoples’ opinions & stories out of the writing and put myself at the forefront of everything. Which in turn, made me put the guitar down more and stand centre stage naked in a way. This new album for me feels even more personal now - I use more self language of “I” over “we” because all of these stories are about me and my life in even more depth than the first record touched upon, whilst covering more bases either through my own first person story telling of something current I’m dealing with or a past situation I’m using music to heal through. The debut was me figuring out shit, this album is me putting the last puzzle piece on the board.”

Picking up right where they left off over ten years ago, 'Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life' sees Little Man Tate deftly tap into the band's original unremitting magic with a fresh, fully-grown twist Available on vinyl, cassette, CD and digital, the record captures the four- piece's original indie charm with a nod to the lives, loves and losses they've experienced during their time on hiatus. As frontman Jon Windleexplains: "We became known for writing observational songs with interesting characters in them, often based on people we knew or had met. When we sat down and started writing again we didn't want to move away from that, but we are 15 years down the line now so reference points change. We've been through marriages, loss, having kids, some of us getting divorced, and I think that comes across in the music. It's still Little Man Tate... it's just Little Man Tate a bit more grown up!"

Toy Machine skateboard's seminal 1996 video “Welcome To Hell” features a unique and progressive patchwork of skateboarders, most of which would become icons in their world, and helped redefine
what the modern skateboarding video could be. A young Joseph Shabason felt that impact. The acclaimed musician hit rewind on his VHS copy of “Welcome To Hell” hundreds of times in his youth,
each watch as thrilling as the last. That invigorating, improvisational, full-body experience of skateboarding is one that Shabason likens to jazz, where a shared language exists between the wheels and woodwinds. The way the skateboarder and musician command that language is what distinguishes them, adding definition to the mercurial concept of “style.” This connection becomes most apparent in collaboration; ensembles of skaters and musicians are a noisy, creative bunch.

Reflecting on this relationship and the Toy Machine classic would ultimately lead Shabason to wonder: what does hell sound like? The answer was a concept album that, like his previous records, lives in
the personal. One that, much like skateboarding itself, would push him to try something new: rescoring "Welcome To Hell". Out on October 20th, 2023.

: Written and recorded in a series of bedroom studiosin England and France, London-based Gareth Donkin’s extraordinary debut, Welcome Home, showcases the 23-year-old’s stunning mix of instrumental virtuosity and emotional intuition, blending highly sophisticated melodic and harmonic craftsmanship with deeply moving lyrical explorations of longing, desire, and determination. Jamaican reggae heavyweight and his celebrated band The Wailers had some of their best cuts compiled onto this Welcome To Dub Rock collection a few years ago. It's an 18-track collection of dubplate recordings and also rare tracks that are the ultimate for fans of the band as well as dub in general. Some of these were made specifically for sound systems so have some seriously meaty low ends and there are also dub versions of classics like 'Concrete Jungle' and 'Soul Rebel' all packaged up in a picture sleeve and with an obi-strip. Superb stuff by all.

Don Glori, a.k.a multi-instrumentalist Gordon Li, returns with a remix EP that tears open five tunes from his groundbreaking debut, Welcome.

Taking an opportunity to sink into some of the ideas explored on the original album, the five remixes featured here sees some of Europe and Australia’s finest throw open the shutters and shine a light on Li’s inventive compositions and remarkable instrumentation.

Rosie from the Block, a.k.a Belgian multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ Roselien, leans right into the percussion and drum kit playing that made Welcome so infectious, layering this with cheeky bubblegum-beat bass lines that lend the whole affair an incredibly smooth, street-soul styling.

Other key players include Swedish duo Mount Liberation Unlimited, lending their take on things an introspectively dark, brooding atmosphere that evolves into one of their trademark acid-house extended journeys; Australian radio DJ and producer Ennio Styles working alongside Liam de Bruin, hip-hop/soul duo Man Made Mountain, led by MC Cazeaux O.S.L.O, and an insanely infectious organic house take on hit single Dlareme by one of Melbourne’s finest, Teymori.

A perfect companion to an album that broke open the Melbourne scene and laid out new parameters for the quality of jazz, samba and funk-inspired music emerging from that city, Welcome Remixes breathes fresh life into this incredible album and reminds us just how goddamn fun making, playing and performing music can be.

Aptly titled, ‘Welcome’ is the debut album from Don Glori. A kaleidoscopic free dive into his world, featuring 8 recordings of revolving jazz, Brazilian, soul and funk inspired compositions spinning together and blurring into a genre bending slew of new music.

There is an intangible element of joy and connection sitting just outside the grasp of description or definition that can be felt throughout this album. Each song on this album captures the spirit and irrepressible energy that underpins the core of the Don Glori project.

Imperfections are captured along with the moments of transcendence. Layers of vocal harmonies oscillate next to pulsating samba rhythms while spiritual overtones permeate throughout. Congas and percussion form a holy union with the drum kit, co-piloted by Don Glori’s own bass lines.

Saxophones, horns and flutes flutter in between the musical canyons carved out by the piano and vibraphone. When you press all of these forces together you can start to feel the intangible; the intrinsic human elements existing in the creases. The sweat, excitement and willingness of each musician to dedicate their spirit and take risks on every track of this album.

It’s clear from the outset that this is an expansive body of work, from the spiritual jazz opener ‘Maiden Waters’ to the bubbling street party that is ‘Dlareme’, and ending on the unashamedly seductive ‘Commodore’. This is the kind of record that will translate equally well to both the dance floor and the lounge room rug.

Nun werden die Alben der Jahre 2001 bis 2003 der Herner Metal-Legende mit Bonus-CDs mit etlichen Demoversionen (inkl. bisher unveröffentlichten Titeln) auf Doppel-CDs neu veröffentlicht. Besonders interessant dürfte hier für die Fans das Album „Welcome To The Other Side“ sein, das endlich als neu gemasterte Version (auch als Doppel-Vinyl) vorliegt.

Freestyle drops another 12" rarity from the annals of UK funk & boogie history - this time giving the sounds of VeiraKrew's "Sexy Lady" from 1985 a fresh new cut.

Elvis Veira was born on the Carribean island of Nevis and moved to England alongside his pianist and music teacher mother at the age of 2, quickly becoming profficient on piano, guitar & bass by the time he was in his early teens. His love for playing music and singing in choirs propelled him on this musical journey, and his late teens to 20s saw him supporting top acts such Heatwave, Wham, Second Image, Katrina and the Waves, Mezzo Forte, Chris Rea, Shakatak and many others.

In 1983 he started working under the alias VeiraKrew, and a couple of years later in 1985 laid down this 12" at Bedford's Thatch Cottage Studio on a shoe-string budget. Backed up with the title-track's killer instrumental version and the b-side "Welcome to a Dream" it was self-released by Elvis on a x1000 run (since becoming quite the collectors item, with clean copies changing hands for up to £150 a piece).

Following the release of Sexy Lady, Elvis continued playing and working as a session musician and vocalist, going on to release a further 12" in 1988 signing to Stevie V's Beatbox International label for the house-inflected track "Good Stuff". Fast forwarding to present day, Elvis has had some time away from music but is now back actively playing and producing, alongside working with the OMG (Outreach Music Group) - helping to provide support and music therapy within the NHS.
