Auf ihrem dritten Album bei Oh Boy Records und ihrem fünften seit Beginn ihrer Karriere vor einem Jahrzehnt stellt Emily Scott Robinson erneut ihre Meisterschaft als Performerin und Geschichtenerzählerin unter Beweis. Mit Appalachia - aufgenommen in den Dreamland Recording Studios mit dem Grammy-nominierten Produzenten Josh Kaufman - öffnet sich Robinson für Experimente und singt mit ihrer kristallklaren Stimme über Widerstandsfähigkeit, Liebe, Trauer und Hoffnung. Robinsons Talent ist keine Überraschung - sie ist mittlerweile eine erfahrene Tournee-Künstlerin, sowohl im In- als auch im Ausland. Ihre Alben ,Traveling Mercies" (2019) und ,American Siren" (2021) landeten jeweils ganz oben auf den Jahresendlisten ,Best Country and Americana Albums" des Rolling Stone und ,10 Best Country Albums" von Stereogum. Sie wurde von der Washington Post, Billboard, American Songwriter und No Depression gelobt und erreichte mit ihrem Song ,Let 'Em Burn" Platz 19 der NPR-Liste ,100 Best Songs of 2021". Es war ihre 2020 veröffentlichte Single ,The Time for Flowers", eine Hymne der Hoffnung, die sie zu Hause inmitten der globalen Pandemie aufgenommen hatte, die die Aufmerksamkeit von Oh Boy Records auf sich zog, dem 1981 von John Prine gegründeten Independent-Label. Robinson ergriff die Gelegenheit, sich dem freigeistigen und beliebten Plattenlabel anzuschließen, das das Erbe ihres Helden weiterführt. Robinson ist überzeugt, dass die Songs auf ,Appalachia" die besten sind, die sie je geschrieben hat - sie singt über ihre an Demenz erkrankte Großmutter, einen Saloon voller schillernder Charaktere, in dem nur Bargeld akzeptiert wird, und über ihre Dankbarkeit für das Leben trotz aller Schwierigkeiten. Das Album enthält ein Duett mit dem Grammy-Gewinner John Paul White, das die Liebe feiert, die mit Narben und Alter einhergeht, sowie eine Hymne für alle, die jemals gescheitert sind oder hinter ihren Erwartungen zurückgeblieben sind. ,Es gibt etwas, das ich bei jeder Platte, die ich mache, tue", sagt sie. ,Ich verwebe ein Gebet darin und bitte darum, dass all diese Songs ihren Weg zu allen finden, die sie brauchen. Ich bitte diese Songs, von Nutzen zu sein, den Menschen zu helfen, Freude zu finden und zu erleben."

Known for their warm harmonies, live energy, and poetic lyrics, Boy & Bear explore on Tripping Over Time themes such as embracing life's journey and its contradictions: "It's about the subtle lessons of life. Often you don't realise you've gone through something until you've truly experienced it. You keep learning, stumbling forward, and embracing the chaos with a smile. It's optimistic, nostalgic and playful, just like life itself," says frontman Dave Hosking. The record feels like one big celebration of joy, laced with a bittersweet, happy-sad energy. Burna Boy was born Damini Ogulu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, in 1991 and began making music at just ten years old. As a teenager he honed his craft on Nigeria’s southern coast, delving into dancehall, reggae and Afrobeat’s. In the early 2010s Burna Boy emerged as one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising stars, combining influences from his Nigerian heritage with hook-filled pop stylings to create unforgettable tracks. His 2012 single ‘Like to Party’ broke into the global mainstream and paved the way for his full-length debut L.I.F.E, a year later.



Over the next five years, Burna Boy released two more albums and collaborated with a long list of high-profile artists including J Hus, Skales, Fall Out Boy and Lily Allen. African Giant was released in 2019 followed by his fifth album Twice as Tall in 2020 (which featured collabs with Chris Martin and Youssou N'Dour), both charted in several countries across the globe andgarnered worldwide acclamation, with the latter winning a Grammy Award for ‘Best Global Music Album’. Breaking cultural boundaries, he became the first Nigerian to headline a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, he released his sixth album, Love, Damini, last year (featuring collabs with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Khalid). It deservedly became the highest-charting Nigerian album in history and currently holds the record for the only African artist to earn a no. 1 on iTunes in 16 countries worldwide.

Challenger was the debut and unique album from the iconic and unique italo disco band Baby's Gang. Altough oficially it had only two singles (Happy Song and Challenger), some other labels found extra tracks to be released as single (America) when Memory Records decided to focus on new releases. Produced by Anfrando Maiola (KOTO), Stefano Cundari and Alessadro Zanni, 'My LIttle Japanese Boy' is one of those tracks so it was worth buying the album. The album did not neither included the original version for Happy Song, but a 'Remix'. Probably someone back in the days should have made this EP including both track...now we have done it. This 12" included the original versions plus two Razor's Edit to make it more DJ Friendly.

Then comes Spring, where sadness still lingers but gives way to a glimmer of hope, symbolizing the struggle between memory and renewal.



Finally, Summer 2 marks acceptance — a last imaginary conversation, a gentle farewell. The cycle closes, yet light returns, offering a peaceful conclusion to this journey through loss and reconstruction.

A1 - CRYME - London Boy (MCR-T Remix)
CRYME's 808-driven electro, ghetto house hybrid "London Boy" gets the MCR-T treatment, spiced up with a dose of Garage. The Berlin-based artist reshaped the bassline into a gritty reese bass and put in the iconic UK hardcore vocal "your name is not down, you not coming in," perfectly amplifying the track's original UK flair.
A2 - CRYME - London Boy (Roza Terenzi Remix)
Roza Terenzi joins the "London Boy" Remix EP with a sleek, modern tech house cut. Flipping the distinct 808 cowbells into heavily processed percussive elements that bounce through the mix while carrying a melodic line. Her remix is packed with her quirky yet precise sound design and kinetic frequencies. The original vocal phrases are creatively chopped up into fragments and reassembled so they become part of the rhythmic backbone.

B1 - CRYME - London Boy (JakoJako Remix)
JakoJako shows off her genre diversity with a steezy Tech House flip of "London Boy." The talented Berlin-based live act lays down a solid drum foundation and a bouncing bassline - no frills, just a steady groove built for the dancefloor. The composition stays laidback, leaving space for a raw synth melody and her reworked, chopped-up vocal layers that add just the right touch of playful silliness to the track.

B2 - CRYME - London Boy (Original Mix)
On the B-side you will find CRYME's remastered original "London Boy", first released in 2024 and featuring ANTICALM, a British rapper, vocalist, and songwriter whose "You Don't Want This" vocal sample takes center stage. Merging 808-driven Electro and Grime with a touch of Ghetto House, the track reimagines a genre-bending battery of block-party energy in the club setting. With its driving rhythm and unmistakable vocal hook, it remains a powerful tool for DJs and a highlight on any dancefloor.

The now-classic duet of ‘Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy’ with David Bowie from Bing Crosby's 1977 television special, ‘Merrie Olde Christmas’ is back on a brand new, collector's edition, picture disc 12” vinyl.
The picture disc features the iconic image of David Bowie and Bing Crosby at the piano. "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" is a Christmas song performed by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Recorded on September 11, 1977 at ATV Elstree Studios near London for Crosby's television special Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas, the song features Crosby singing the 1941 standard "The Little Drummer Boy" while Bowie sings the counterpoint tune "Peace on Earth", written by the special's musical supervisors Ian Fraser and Larry Grossman, and scriptwriter Buz Kohan, specifically for the collaboration.
The duet was one of Crosby's final recordings before his death in October 1977. Following the special's broadcast during the 1977 holiday season, ‘Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy’ went unavailable for many years. It was eventually released as a single by RCA Records in November 1982 and was a commercial success, peaking at number three on the UK Singles Chart. It was Crosby's final popular hit. It became one of the best-selling singles of Bowie's career, with total estimated sales over 400,000 in the UK alone.
The song has since become a Christmas classic in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom and has been referred to by The Washington Post as "one of the most successful duets in Christmas music history“.
