Huerta’s debut album for Voyage is a righteous journey along the coast of California; a psychosomatic blend of melodic rhythm, natural sounds and ambient textures.

Recorded throughout 2019, Huerta combines a blissful wash of west coast inspired ambient with the more affable, rhythmic house cuts he has been previously known for. Drawing on the surrounding landscapes of his upbringing, Huerta’s ode to the Juniper tree is an immersive and introspective experience; a long player capable of taking you to an elevated state of mind.

Sublunar and Sciahri are proud to welcome Paris-based Tunisian artist Clotur to the label.
Known as the head of Warok Music, Clotur makes his debut on Sublunar with "Retro Reverie", a uniquely diverse EP that showcases his impressive creativity and his ability to move across different shades of techno with ease and personality.

The journey begins with "Glitch Parade", an eccentric yet infectious track driven by a captivating groove that immediately pulls you in. "Dataline" follows, offering a sleek balance between minimalism and modern textures while maintaining a distinct identity.

On the B-side, "Ghost Transmission" delivers a sultry bassline and seductive vocal elements that infuse the track with a warm, groovy atmosphere. "Patala" brings an old-school flavor into the mix, standing out with its refreshing and instantly recognizable character. They say that good things come in threes... it must be true and Favorite Recordings also proudly presents the third edition of its acclaimed French Disco Boogie Sounds compilation series.

Like on prior volumes, the complete tracklist is selected by label head honcho, Charles Maurice (aka Pascal Rioux), who's unearthed 13 more forgotten and hidden tracks, all produced whether in France, in French, or by French artists between 1977 and 1987.

With most of these titles now very hard to find in their original edition and unknown by many, this compilation should be a must have for any Disco-Boogie-Funk music lover and collector.

Fully remastered from originals at The Carvery Cut (UK), French Disco Boogie Sounds Vol.3 (1977-1987, selected by Charles Maurice) is presented by Favorite Recordings in a gatefold vinyl double LP and as CD.

Conundrum Records delves into the depths of techno with a riveting release from Hitam, the Dutch producer who's renowned for his immersive soundscapes, stimulating textures and dynamic low-end. Past Due Records is thrilled to announce the reissue of 'You Make It Harder,' a long-lost gem from the 1980s NYC dance music scene, originally released as a 7 inch single for the WBLS Budweiser Showdown under the name Contreras / Sokolov / Milgrom. This rare boogie funk record, known only to a select few aficionados, is now available for the first time as a 12 Inch single, featuring four additional unreleased tracks that perfectly capture the Ray Contreras Band’s multicultural, synth-driven funk. The release includes a full sleeve and the story of the band’s journey, from winning the legendary WBLS Budweiser Showdown to their near-miss at the national finals.

Operating in a lane of her own, she draws on her UK roots with bass laden bounce and never forgets to add that sapphic touch crucial to SBC. “Rebel Royale” is keeping techno freaky, cheeky and ahead of the curve.

Quintessentially out of control, elements of tension and release are toyed with throughout all the tracks, the building and driving addictive synth work in Venom & Vision; Serpent’s Rising sending even the most sane into a spiral. Basslines come thick and heavy, chunky by nature and particularly prevalent in Delicately Mad and My Lipgloss My Rules, they are the backbone of the record. Don’t get it twisted, this isn’t some run of the mill techno; the modular bleeps and freakouts, FX and vocals are wired and inspired; the glue showcasing Yazzus’s fully sick technical abilities. Last but not least, she entails the help of friend DJ Fuckoff; haunted slippery vocals are a match made in heaven for the percussive psy workout Erotica.

Look’n In Your Eyes is a jazzy, groovy joint with an infectious vocal sample that just instantly makes those hips swing. A Night At Patria switches gears and puts the foot down when its comes to energy to deliver a club ready weapon with just the right flavour.
