Paolo Fedreghini is a key figure in the Italian nu-jazz and jazz-funk scene, also known, lately, for his FAM Disco project.

Paolo's latest offering, Jazz House Rituals, is more than just an EP; it’s a masterclass in organic production. A 4-track project that bridges the gap between sophisticated jazz arrangements and the infectious energy of the dancefloor. Recorded with a rich palette of live instrumentation—including saxophones, flutes, trumpets and organic drums—the project is a testament to Fedreghini’s ability to blend analog warmth with contemporary club rhythms. From the latin sun-drenched "Happy Feeling" to the nocturnal Deep vibes of "Smoking Area," this EP is an essential choice for lovers of Jazzy-house music.

DJ Support: Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Dave Lee, Dj Spen, Terry Hunter, Jimpster, Kevin Yost, Brian Tappert and more.

For the true listeners who still value the art of the record.

This project pays homage to the funk-disco aesthetic that defined the 70s and 80s crime-thriller genre. Paolo Fedreghini’s personal, cinematic journey through the American cityscape: an atmospheric landscape of high-speed chases, corrupt lawmen, and V8-powered escapes. The narrative weaves through gritty criminal underworlds and shady dealings, always balanced by the allure of the disco era. Rather than a mere imitation, the album distills the essential Blaxploitation sound for a modern audience, blending jazz-funk and disco with subtle, sophisticated electronic layers.

Multi-Instrumentalist composer and producer Paolo Fedreghini aka FAM Disco is back on Groove Culture with a stellar new four-track EP Titled "Cinemetic Travel". The project, all played live, including the drums, is inspired from 70s movies soundtracks. It's hard to describe in words the atmosphere these tracks create. An EP worth listening to. High-quality music, truly well produced.

Extending the heritage left from the first chapter of the homonymous collection, Schema Records presents "Freedom Jazz Dance Book II". The concept comes from an idea of Luciano Cantone aiming at offering "New Standards" that can be understood and responsively absorbed by young generations. The title deriving from a composition from Eddie Harris describes precisely the project's essence: the intuition of something overcoming hurdles laid by rigid market rules. From this, the artistic meaning of "Freedom", solid funded in "Jazz", from which spawns subsequently the natural impulse to movement, manifesting in "Dance" in fact. With "swing" setting the right pathway without hesitations, the objective of the project remains capturing younger people inside the magic of Jazz. The only possible way it's organic: by leaving the music to free up the spirit within themselves.
