The Return of The Vagabond – Revisited! On The New Way
There are figures that do not belong to any single era. They traverse .me, watch the world evolve, and
con.nue their journey guided by a singular compass: music.
Born from a concept by Use Vinyl Records, The Return of The Vagabond – Revisited! On The New Way is a
compila.on that sets the "Vagabond" back in mo.on—an iconic symbol for those who live music as a
journey without boundaries of .me, genre, or genera.on.
His return takes shape through a curated selec.on of .meless interna.onal disco, funk, and rock classics,
reinterpreted with fresh soundscapes while remaining deeply faithful to the spirit of the originals. This
musical odyssey is helmed by Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi, Marco Fra=y, (Ino)2, DJ Mauri, and
Corrado Pres@, proving that great music can transcend .me, reinvent itself, and con.nue to inspire.
More than just a compila.on, The Return of The Vagabond – Revisited! On The New Way is a sonic voyage
that rediscovers legendary tracks through a modern lens. It is a project that demonstrates how authen.c
music never belongs to the past: it evolves, changes its skin, and con.nues to resonate deeply with the
present.

"Let Me Trouble" by Deborah Haslam (a pseudonym for Italian singer Elena Ferre) is a true cult classic for
Italo Disco and Cosmic/Balearic enthusiasts.
Originally released in 1984, the track features produc(on by Gianfranco Bortolo, Mauro Farina, and
Giuliano Crivellente. It stands out for its hypno(c and more "down-tempo" atmosphere compared to
commercial Italo Disco, a quality that cemented its status as a staple in Afro and Cosmic DJ sets.
Beyond the original 1984 version, the track enjoyed a "second life" in 1987 when it was remixed with an
Afro-Funk vibe and featured as the B-side of the single "Hot Stuff."
Tracklist:

"The duo (ino)², Walterino & Marcellino, are back. Following 'Ralf Ciao Ralf', they return with their
second tribute to the ul Alongside this track, they have included two other songs that showcase their eclec roots in underground classics. The release blends heavy old-school vibes with a fresh,
contemporary sound and groove. With 'Le Cose Belle' and 'Il Mundo Dansa', the duo explores the
space between techno and minimal, infused with late '88-'89 house influences and killer vocal
hooks."

This is the second volume of the double compila"on Shock Room. This collec"on features iconic
and sought-a(er "techno, trance & progressive" sounds that got en"re genera"ons dancing and
are s"ll being played and sought a(er by DJs and fans of this musical genre. The compila"on
takes its name from the "main room" inside the Ul"mo Impero nightclub in Turin, a historical
temple of '90s techno trance music in Italy

This is the fourth volume in the collection dedicated to the Arlecchino nightclub in Santa Maria Codifiume, in the province of Ferrara. It's once again a double-vinyl set that gathers the best of Afro, Funky, Rare Groove, and Black Music, as played at the club by resident DJs Giancarlo Lelli, DJ Ghello, and DJ Frank.

"I'm Ready" is the EP launched Kano in 1980. Produced by the Italian trio of Stefano Pulga, Luciano Ninza/,
and Ma0eo Bonsanto, it's considered one of the fundamental tracks that defined the Italo Disco genre and
brought it to interna4onal a0en4on.
In the early '80s, the track was incredibly innova4ve. It combined a massive use of synthesizers (like the
Korg MS-20), percussive rhythms, and a vocoder, crea4ng a mechanical, "robo4c" atmosphere that became
a hallmark of the genre.
The sound of "I'm Ready" was hugely influen4al. Ar4sts like Eurythmics and New Order have acknowledged
the impact of this track, and echoes of its style can be heard in many subsequent produc4ons, especially in
electronic music. Its groove and clean produc4on were a benchmark for the era. In short, "I'm Ready" is not
just a song, but a milestone that helped define the sound of an en4re musical era.

It stands out as a more nuanced and varied offering compared to some of his later, more direct disco releases, making it a must-listen for fans of early 70s funk.
