We welcome back one of our favorite artists, Brendon
Moeller. This time as Beat Pharmacy. Brenson has
been releasing several records for us before, on
Echocord and Echocord Colour.
On all these tracks, one thing becomes apparent, with
a few simple elements and a dub approach to mixing,
one can create space, movement and groove without
the need to change keys. magic maybe.
Thank you dub manipulators of the past and present
for the music and lessons.
Brendon has been releasing music in many years on
many labels, also running his own famous Steadfast
label.

Following the steps of Kerry Chandler, Mr. Fingers, Ron Trent, Masters at Work and so on... Away from the hype, we want to bring back the spirit of the early 90's when House music was not only music, but a communion of body, soul, freedom and love. We hope to get you with us... in the dance, in the club.
Now ride on the sound

Propaganda is mental warfare. Division is Illusion

Tohuwabohu are Saam Schlamminger (aka Chronomad) and Burnt Friedman. The first joint 4-track EP was produced in Friedmans studio in summer 2013.

We are pleased to welcome American producer Developer into our pack. Mr. Developer brings to Warm Up his beats and sequences all the way from the West Coast, with two original tracks plus a bunch of extra remixes available on the digital edition. On the list of remakes, none other than Argentinean top producer Pfirter and the label owner himself, Oscar Mulero, both in charge of providing all the funk.

The tangible plastic release starts with '
'Cuerpo', a frenzied number based on continuous synth lines, fast cabasa-driven rhythm patterns, obscure vocals and floaty strings. Spacey and grey, all at the same time.

On track two, Oscar Mulero keeps the fundamental elements, filtering them up and down and adding extra tension to create a perfect mixing tool to complement the original.

Side B opens with 'Western Ways'. Toms appear on the beat, along with FM sequences, and lush stabs that turn aggressive as the minutes go by. A floor stomper.

Pfirter fattens the kick, sharpens the hi hats, and provides some bleepy action and reverb-fuelled ambiances, giving the original a personal twist. Peaktime techno.

As a complement to the plastic version, the digital release boasts two additional revisions of 'Western Ways' by Oscar Mulero. One where he carries out the same routine as we found on 'Cuerpo', preserving most of the original elements, filtering and creating a dense atmosphere, and another with slower tempos, a liquid overall feeling and a more smokey and dubby approach.

More extra-terrestrial, technoid vibrations from the Ill River nucleus.
This latest transmission delivered by the one and only Hakim Murphy; and received through biosynthesized artefacts planted on Earth by the higher civilizations during the Great Experiment.

Reports of strange noises in the sky have been circulating since 2010, posing many questions as to their origin.
Secretly, III Rivers have been communicating with the space beings, securing their place in the interstellar Shangri-la when at last we finally transcend the cosmos.

"Smog" is the initial signal to land - beginning with cascading bleeps and sonars before a buzzing sawtooth assumes first contact. Proceeding to encapsulate all Earthlings with its electromagnetic hum - it's no wonder people are rushing to the top of apartment blocks to try and bootleg this shit on their phones.

"Vortex" is next, taking us right through the wormhole into the domain of machine-elves and humongous multi-headed entities, all eager to show us the porthole to paradise. A blissful bubble of ricocheting snares, delectable synth rubs and celestial goodness awaits.

“Spanking Tables” concludes the set and sees Hakim display his amazing control of percussion and unusual sounds; comfortably easing us in with our new galactic friends. Synthetic toms, drifting pads and sharp hats all converging on our bodies.

Beautiful stuff. Maybe the Maya were just a year too early….

It's not easy making jams that really work the crowd just as well in Bristol as in Berlin. Nor any other city for that matter. It's those crossover artists that really stand out for us with tunes that do so much more than just ride the wave of what's hot. Enter The Organ Grinder and his sick 3track EP for Heist. 'How did I get here", the A1 track, might sound like something you'd ask yourself when you realize you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, but for us, this track is everything but that. This track has the most gritty and rolling percussion we've heard in a long time, a looped key with a hint of sleazy techno and some subs that will easily blow your grandma's porcelain to pieces. Add some odd FM frequency noises and you've got yourself a killer tune. Changes all the time takes a more drawn back approach, aptly characterized in the vox: 'repetition, with tiny changes all the time.' A set of carefully placed stabs. pads and strings along with a great arrangement that keeps you wanting more of that warm but rough groove. The Valley of doom takes you on a journey through the whole B-side with a stripped down, almost dubby techno vibe, nicely countered with The OG's signature slamming and gritty percussion. I hope you will enjoy this record as much as we do. Sincerely yours, Lars & Maarten

William Kouam Djoko returns to Voyage Direct with Deflourished. After a year with a lot of high highs and some deep lows, William found himself on the dance floor listening to a set by Chicago Footwork specialists DJ Rashaad & DJ Spinn.
William experienced what religious people might call a divine moment. All the experiences, emotions and soul searching from the previous year came together in one emotional, energetic moment. William tried to recapture all of this in his studio the next day and within hours Deflourished was created. A pure form of energy shared by William for everyone to enjoy, hopefully as much as he enjoyed creating it.

B-side Behind Closed Doors completes the package; a lot more subtle and refined than it's A-side brother. A synth-heavy, down-pitched and outstretched song that builds heavily on space, both physical and mentally. On his Sophomore Voyage Direct release William Kouam Djoko truly sets out on a voyage to discover his inner-self. The result, whether it's the expressive energy of Deflourished, or the more mesmerising gloominess of Behind Closed Doors, is beautiful to say the least.

The package is completed by a stunning video of Deflourished made by graphic designer Saša Ostaja and animator Niko Lanzuisi. The video will be launched at a special party

It's been a while since we've heard a jam as bruising as Nonsense. Titles in techno often don't tell you much, and we'd go as far as to say this badboy is really more no-nonsense. This one will blow the stack, with cavernous kicks, down-the-line 909 claps and hats, and good old fashioned warehouse bells. Decision is a jackin factory floor jam. Spitting percussion that's reverbed to the roof, combines with a one-note synth and pacy high-end work for a full-on strobe light track. Myk Derill goes DIY on his re-work of Nonsense, bringing more detailed rhythm work and creating a dynamic jam that ebbs and flows, constantly moving in and out of focus. Polishing off this belting release is Imprinted - an atmospheric sci-fi rhythm reminiscent of Convexion or even Monolake - a very nice little surprise on an otherwise heads-down release.

Dan Morrow, singer of Funkwerkstatt, going to a world of music with a high atmospheric density.

Shlomi Aber returns to Ovum with 'Slack Tide". It has been three years since Shlomi Aber's acclaimed album Chicago Days/Detroit Nights was release on Ovum. It was followed by an incredible remix package in 2011. He returns to Ovum in fine form with the 'Slack Tide' EP. Shlomi has stayed busy the past two years focusing on releases for his own Be As One imprint as well as big releases on Desolat and Cadenza Lab. He returns to Ovum coming off strength after strength with his releases. For his Ovum return Shlomi has come back with a bang. The title track 'Slack Tide' is a rolling ball of energy. The track ebbs and flows delivering builds that should drive the dance-floor crazy. For the B side, Shlomi returns to his techno roots with 'Warehouse". You can seen this being played in a dark sweaty warehouse space and driving the crowd insane. Both tracks will rock any crowd and show Shlomi's diversity. Welcome back!

Experimental music from Anna Bolenna, Idroschalo Music leader. Electro live sets with an A side of dub House and a B side for experimental hard techno delirium... Creation no recreation ! ENJOY ! LIMITED TO 100 copies I think.

Narratives Music proudly present the debut EP of the artist Rhyming in Fives. The 'Hindsight' EP sees a well respected producer
embark on a new journey under a new alias, with an intention to breach the boundaries of Drum and Bass and the 170bpm template.
Fusing drift space ambience, glassy synths and retro drum machines with gritty warm bass grooves, Rhyming in Fives has gathered
sensibilities from the austere 80s pop of Depeche Mode and Gary Numan, the soundscapes of Cliff Martinez and Vangelis, and
transcended to something altogether more futuristic.
This highly anticipated release has already caught the imagination of DJ's across the genres with huge names such as Paul Woolford,
Om Unit, Com Truise and Zomby working it into their multi tempo sets while still finding its way into the record bags of Drum and
Bass' hottest players such as Doc Scott, Jubei.and BBC Radio's Friction.
Lead track 'Hindsight' glistens with the trademark Narratives sound of emotion and contrast. Melancholic calling synths build over
pumping kick drums and beckon the classic bass to grow and soar to an euphoric drop of arpeggiators and driving percussion. The
ability to draw the listener completely in to its immersive groove and simplicity, only feigns the depth of this beautiful track, a depth
which reveals more with each listen.
Turning many heads has been the track 'With You'. Instantly recognisable, it builds on the same retro influences as the flip but is
injected with the vocals of Hana. Bubbling basses, beautiful keys and a song like structure make this a golden addition to the
Narratives catalogue; one that evokes the summer decadence of Kavinsky's 'Drive' movie soundtrack.
The last track on the EP, 'All's Well' takes the Rhyming in Fives sound to a much more brooding and meditative place. Cavernous
bass, reverbs and FX lead this wave of haunting ambience to create a heartwrenching close to this debut EP. Sentimental, emotional
and relentlessly engaging, 'All's Well' refuses to let the listener do anything but be drawn in.
Only furthering Narratives reputation for releasing music of bold quality and longevity, this EP embraces experimentation and genre
shifting sounds whilst having relentlessly moved dancefloors and festivals over the summer months.
DJ Support includes : Friction, Paul Woolford, Doc Scott, Om Unit, Kuedo, Com Truise, Zomby

Poker Flat Recordings has long held a talismanic role within the house and techno underground -responsible for countless classic moments and pursuing a vision that propels the scene ever forward.

Here, Dutch DJ and producer Wouter de Moor continues this rich tradition, dropping an essential release for Steve Bug's ever-important imprint. The Lectures E.P features the words and wisdom of the ultimate DJ's DJ and king of the underground - Theo Parrish. Wouter de Moor's original mix intertwines a driving house groove and insistent synth riff around Mr Parrish waxing lyrical about the art of DJing, producing and life in general. The vocal track is also provided as an accapella for DJ's looking to spice up their own sets or productions, while a pair of remixes come courtesy of scene stalwart Kirk Degiorgio. The Brit delivers a vocal and dub that hit hard- toughening up the groove and taking the track further in the realm of late night main room vibes. The EP is rounded off with 8 Voice- a knowing nod to the old school with firing percussion, tight snares and a filthy warehouse-ready bassline.

Second EP from enigmatic electronic popster FKA Twigs (formerly known as Twigs) packed full of turbulent beats and floating vocals that compliment her glitchy striking visuals that accompany each release
Now, following a name alteration to FKA twigs, she unveils the brand new 'EP2', which will be released on the Young Turks label, available on 12' vinyl.

'So, so amazing ethereal dubstep pop from Gloucestershire... The UK's best example to date of ethereal, twisted R&B.' - The

Jose Cabrera and Fred P split the first installment of the Perception series. The Determinism EP sees JC and FP giving their slant on principles of quantum level events through sound. Raw and driving, this EP is a more than an adequate DJ tool, it's a formula for the transportation of the subconscious.

Determinism is a metaphysical philosophical position stating that for everything that happens there are conditions such that, given those conditions, nothing else could happen. "There are many determinisms, depending upon what pre-conditions are considered to be determinative of an event." Deterministic theories throughout the history of philosophy have sprung from diverse motives and considerations, some of which overlap. Some forms of determinism can be tested empirically with ideas stemming from physics and the philosophy of physics. The opposite of determinism is some kind of indeterminism (otherwise called nondeterminism).

Following the successful collaboration on Several Reasons Recordings' first vinyl release, Scalameriya & Dubit team up once again for a stunning, uncompromised techno project, this time on Genesa Records' third vinyl release.
The whole package gets a big boost with the remix delivered by the Japanese master, Go Hiyama.
