Seven years and forty releases later, old friends reunite for a special occasion. JOSS, the boss of Kyiv vinyl label Artreform, is glad to announce a new release by Sapurra, the project helmed by the weathered DJ Sergey Sapunov. JOSS and Sapunov have enjoyed top stardom status within Heaven dancefloor of Kazantip ever since day one. The same dancefloor Laurent Garnier reminisced playing in the extended edition of his influential book ELECTROCHOC.

Nowadays, these two are traversing parallel courses. New Sapurra tracks deliver easily distinguishable, authentic sound of Artreform: classic tech-house that is slightly leaning on the techno side of things. One of Sapurra tracks on offer is boosted with a masterful remix by Argentinian DJ Franco Cinelli. Cinelli is notorious for his groundbreaking Picaro EP recorded together with Bruno Pronsato, a skillful producer creating deep house with surgical precision and attention to craft. Franco's shows are an experience of its own thanks to a combination of vinyl DJ set elements with electronic music live performance.

Sapurra's latest release on powerhouse Ukrainian imprint is called Feeling+. And this very feeling, this resonant pulsation is what keeps Artreform's gears in motion and its history being written on to date and on.

Moscow based Engineer Records returns with the mysterious Black Series. The first release features label founder Wyro and emerging artist Lolita Michuk.

On the Side A you’re going to explore a relentless micro house rhythm whilst merging with a trippy electro texture where synthesizers take the lead on the mystical atmospheres of "Progress”.

A2 it’s a roller coaster of fat bass patterns and fast paced loops ruled by the omni presence of the synthesizers, giving a trembling soul to the track that makes of Giperbola an ingenious theorem of refined nowdays Acid House.

The Journey is taking a detour for the experimental twilight zone of side B with Pjesa, a dreamlike dimension made of whispers and free notes played by an enchanted ghost piano, ranging over water dripping sounds and meditative echoes, well placed with an hypnotic slow bass line.

On B2 the vigorous remix of Pjesa by Federico Molinari, the re-interpretation of which is perfectly meant for the dance floor.

Finally putting to rest a one-year break, Retreat is back in full swing in order to bring more heat this summer thanks to the "Busted Moniker EP" from Quarion! With four tracks that showcase a jazzier, somewhat wilder side of the Retreat co-founder, "Busted Moniker" has the stamp of a producer on top of his game, squeezing out all of the funk from his machines and letting loose without too much over-thinking. Can you handle it The ambient introduction "Lost Coordinates" represents a direct follow-up to Quarion's offering on the "Treats Vol.5" Compilation. Built around a circular four note theme, white noise percussion and a distant choir, "Lost Coordinates" evokes a ghost spaceship that is drifting through the void, his destination unknown and his point of origin long forgotten. The bumpy house beat of "A Thousand Questions" teleports us back to a more familiar territory: this is proper club music with a sweet jazzy touch. Not holding back on his skills as a musician, Quarion treats us with a Rhodes bassline, deep piano chords and many drum fills. The tune moves along nicely and just when you think it couldn't get any better, Quarion surprises us with a break that introduces energetic Juno stabs and a booming new bassline. Slick! "Burnin'" is maybe the EPs hottest track (all puns intended) and is sure to light fires on dancefloors all over. Beginning with a deep bassline atop a shuffled beat, the groove becomes irresistible as soon as the cheeky vocal samples arrive, but it's the entrance of an infectious and offbeat Rhodes loop that is sure to make the dancers go crazy. As the track gets stronger, the theme breaks down in descending chords and we're left with just the kick drum and a percussive noise. The loop soon emerges anew from the background now coupled with a phased cymbal for one more everlasting burn... Ouch!

UNS004 sees the label's keepers and custodians dish out yet another crisp 4 tracker right on the money with soft gliding touches, ambivalent playfulness and rolling basslines on the B side, compounded on top of the title track who's warping space time overdrive pushes through continuously, all beginning with a twisted Caleidoscop of discombobulated voices and relayed signals bouncing back and forth across the spectrum.

The two Dutch production powerhouses Robin Fett and Polar (NL) collide in this heavy rolling Deep Tech project called “Call to Cancel EP”. During the pandemic, the three producers sat together and joined hands to create four tracks that resonated with them deeply in 2020. The big call to cancel came, leaving many of us in the events and entertainment industry stranded on an island, yet has not stopped these gentlemen to be creative and create this beautiful EP. From cancelling evenings with friends to Christmas dinners with families, some of us had to cancel all of it. With this EP we want to say that hope is not lost yet and we can rebuild and show what can be achieved with dedication and hard work. Marshall Applewhite has returned from the red planet with a new discovery in tow, his Lowercase EP! As a musical pioneer he needs little introduction but a few lauds include: the creation of an entire genre of electronic music, starting legendary label YoSucka! featuring his hit release "Go Home", now running a fantastic and creative label project called Junted sharing experimental and strange sounds. For all those in the Detroit techno community, his music has been an inspiration and his devil may care attitude is a welcome refreshment from the often overly serious and judgemental air of the industry. These tracks once again change up his style, leaning a bit more toward a house groove, but with plenty of his signature freakish basslines and trippy vocal samples to ride along. Released via PITS, a Detroit-based electronic music label run by cohort John Joe XO. The project is entering its fifth year of life this summer of 2021, so in celebration this special edition release will also be shared on 12" vinyl. The label has seen support from many artists over the years including Exos, Blazej Malinkowski, Justin Carter, Laurent Garnier, John FM, and more.

Jack On Black consists of Jib Rafill and Joe Le Groove, the pair met 6 years ago when Joe was djing in Malta. Their love electronic music, machines and old school sampling techniques sparked a desire to collaborate and organically work towards writing various genres of music, including Dub, House, Techno, Downtempo and even Film Scores.

Their music is made from passion, a love of technology and Roland outboard gear. Both have been on the scene for many years and separately have their own unique journeys and projects. The distance from Ricardo's last field trip 'Thé au Harem d'Archimède' (PERL43) in 2004 to the present epic 5x12LP-Set is a galaxy of electronic expression through sound independent from time and pace. It is said that Funk is defined by the notes that are not being played. The space between the notes here is so vast that Funk becomes transformed into the spirit that creates unfathomable emotional adventure. The rules of dynamics between 0 and 1 shift the relation from reality to relaxation. 14 freefloat sessions are made of natural, secret ingredients from the limbic system of astro aztecs. They evolve from rituals, ending in the release of the sinuous percussion ghost from the machine who breathes out a score for easy living. Which sounds like a primordial soup aerosol of funky molecules and molluscs.

Started a few years ago, the project 3ca1 is made up of three members: Sakdat, Balaur & Tangent. This rominimal project comes from the love of these guys for this genre.

With a lot of tracks, they made their name well known on the rominimal scene. Their tracks were played many times by the artists like: Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Charlie, Prichindel, Herodot, Sepp, Nu Zau, Gescu, Arapu etc.

Laconica is back after a 1 year break. This time it’s a first solo EP of Lviv’s very own DJ and producer Ocean T, who debuted on the previous release (supported by Brawther, Io (Mulen), Varhat and Subb-An). A-side contains two perfect examples of contemporary house music with lush pads and banging beats. Be ready for the acid patterns and big drops – it’s all for dance-floor. We tested these tracks and they work like magic!

B-side is the other side of the game: more broken beat and vintage. Label owner Alex Pervukhin delivers a remix for the main track with huge accent on acid and breaks. And last but not least is a dreamy outer-space burner that takes you on real journey to the future.

The much-celebrated Parisian DJ W!LD has been enjoying a fine time of it lately. Gig-wise, he threw it down recently at SXM alongside the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Zip, while he even stopped by in Mixmag NYC LAB back in February also. From a release perspective, the ever-consistent producer has put out acclaimed works on the likes of Snork Enterprises, as well as fledgling French label, Emperical Magnetism for whom he returns to here with exactly the sort of panache we've come to expect.

The club-ready three tracker, entitled "Kindergarten (Part 2)", sees W!LD reprise the kindergarten theme of 2018, which came into effect on his debut for the French label. Part 2 kicks off with "Indigo Girl", a tough, tech-tinged workout that sees W!LD delve into his ever-expanding arsenal of killer samples. A track that's sure to light up any dancefloor, it's full of the sort of charm that the producer has built a career on over the years.

The other track on the A-side is "Jumatate de Viata". Spread over the course of almost 8 minutes, this adventurous sounding cut is full of drama and suspense, with its groove-heavy approach again indicative of the producer's knack for churning out blissful, peak-time suitable bombs. The B-side is comprised solely of one track, "Left Hander", but it's also one that's worth its weight in gold. A track that's very clearly indebted to W!LD's great appreciation for all things hip-hop, it's the sound of a producer taking a chance and being greatly rewarded for doing so.

If you're after something a bit different this weather, W!LD's latest is without doubt sure to make an impression.

This five-track beauty kicks off with "Kili" by Vagabond Club Social, a funky fresh disco roller with an infectious bassline, dreamlike chimes and heavenly strings that go on for miles. The perfect start to this all-star release!

In at the A2 spot is "Oasis Of Luv" by Saint Paul, a juicy disco number dripping with style and pizazz. Combining a memorable vocal hook, a pulsating rhythm and a super funky bassline, Oasis Of Luv is a guaranteed crowd pleaser!

Over on the B side we get things started with "Freedom" by Hotmood & Igor Gonya, a straight up disco belter that comes in hard and fast with a heavy bassline and a pounding beat. Add in lashings of horns, guitars and vocal refrains and Freedom qualifies as a certified dance floor jam!

The fourth record is an EP with four tracks from a young and very talented artist from The Netherlands - Artmann.

Artmann has been producing music since a young age and grew up developing his experience of multiple musical genres which he has implemented into his own styles, making him an all-round producer. Artmann's handwriting in house music is recognized and loved by listeners all over the world.

The year 2020 has been a powerful breakthrough in the industry for him, as evidenced by the many releases on Rendr, Houbless Music, Surge, Ovrdose Deep, Slightly Sizzled, Pitch, Rawesome Deep and others.

2021 is starting just as powerfully for this lad. Along with several digital releases on Rich Got Jacked, Purism, Elrow, Metafloor, HedzUp, the beginning of the year sees the release of his first own vinyl record - YOIONWAXOO4 on YOI! This record is the perfect ending to winter, tracks that will warm you up and put you in the mood for spring.

With this EP, Module One drops a 3 mesmerizing and efficient deep house tracks ! Beautiful textures and irresistible house grooves ! top notch !

Deepnosis’ second release is based on the concept of duality: 3 tracks, each born from two producers working together.

Aleandro created a deep and mysterious track that develops into an intriguing woodwind alike melody.

On Side B, Funk E and Xandru teamed up to deliver a fresh acid tune to kill the dancefloor.

Finally, “Weep (jam version)” by Luc Ringeisen and Lorenzo Chiabotti is a groovy piano melody enriched by a soul-touching voice that was created for their new quadraphonic live experience "Unset", remixed from Luc’s original track.

Sonet Music presents it's first VA offering with 3 new artists to the label, ckb, Dudley Strangeways and Mortalyf and two previous artists Ciprian Stan and Sonet's debut artist Gruia make up the set. The EP's 4 tracks each bring the stripped back dubby style of Sonet with each track also having its own individual identity, combining dark melodic and deep elements making this VA a unique package from the label.

As the summer heatwave rolls on, so does the music with the new arrival of record label Confucius. Brain child of Swiss DJ and Producer, Sandro Kuhne which sees the first release as a split EP between himself and Romanian talent Arapu, a fast rising name of the minimal house scene and who's track "Pe Final" is a sweet somber thrill of groove and moodiness, tight kick and high hats, punching along with a snappy snare wrapping over a subtle melody and tight bass line. After hours or early sun rise set, this track has the fuel ready to ignite.

For the B-side we are spoilt with two tracks from Sandro Kuhne, the first entitled "Ephemeral" being a no holds bar intense groover, full of flickering sounds and cuts, stabs and detail. This one has a relentless energy and attitude to become a classic dance floor killer. The second song is "Sonorous" and is the deeper of the two, packing punch and funk while bringing in the atmospherics and trippy happy hands in the air vibes, smiles will be on faces when this one drops.

Vivus Records comes back strongly in 2020 with a release from one of the most interesting names in the Romanian underground. Macarie’s rise in the last couple of years has been fast and impressing, having played alongside important names like Priku or Cesar Merveille. He makes his debut on Vivus in style.

Merluciu, the first track, doesn’t mess around. Its starts off heavy with all the eclectic elements coming togheter in a lovely sync, one by one. A little acid touch here, some edgy bass lines there and the result is one piece of music that keeps adding elements as it moves on.

The acid vibe kicks it up a notch on the second track, Shure. It begins calmly, but again, Macarie adds layer of layer making for a complex sound that will immerse you in its cosmic journey.

We take a swift left turn with the last one here. Trip Chop is truly something else. A deep, chill acid journey perfect for some lazy & sunny after hours at an outdoor party, in the middle of the summer. This is the kind of music that stimulates your imagination.

MOVIN' returns with a special - a Various Artists EP with DIREKT, JULIEN SANDRE, STEVN.AINT.LEAVN & LORIK. Four talents who don't need much introduction & we're happy to welcome them to the label. They're contributing extraordinary music, all in their own way & made for the dance floor!

Hanagasumi - hazy curtain of flowers, cherry blossoms appearing from afar like a white mist - this phenomenon can be seen during the sakura blossom in Japan.

Introducing the second Hanagasumi release from Shine Grooves. This time the release has a slightly different sound character. The first side is minimalist and abstract rhythms filled with twisty synth sequences, seasoned with house sauce and stringy keyboards.

The second side has an ambient mood. The first 2 tracks contain soft synth parts and melodies, which are supported by broken rhythms and magical percussion. The final track in the release is reminiscent of the minimal and glitch house of the early 2000s, which will allow you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of serenity.

Esoteric German imprint MASK are back with another untitled release featuring six modulated cuts.
The MASK imprint have steadily built themselves a reputation within the electronic music world honing a sharp production style which lays focus on effervescent, live jams on hardware gear. The previous six
releases on the imprint have garnered an array of support from some of the scene’s most respected names including the likes of Laurent Garnier, Danny Daze, Dan Curtin, Machine Woman, DJ Deep and more
names, with MASK continually delivering the goods.
The ‘A1’ kicks thing off with warm pads sitting gracefully underneath the sweeping percussive groove whilst ‘A2’ focuses on resounding kicks, otherworldly undertones and enlightening leads in the distance. ‘A3’ is breaks-tinged cut featuring spiralling chords, syncopated rhythms and luscious melodies floating above the spacious yet swinging flow.
On the flip, the ‘B1’ offers up dreamy pads, shimmering synths that bounce delightfully off the vibrant hihats in this late night, deep house gem. Low-slung electro drums, ethereal melodic keys, scintillating bass whirls makes up the inspiriting cut that is ‘B2’ before the ‘B3’ delightfully rounds off the release with gentle soundscapes underneath the pensive ambience and German vocals.

Jazz, Funky, Soul, Brazilian, Electronic...are some of the
musical genres that make up the Afro sound, in the 80s .
DJ plays Afro Sound at that time, and the vinyl mix sometimes
could last even several minutes. A journalist of a well-known
newspaper in Rome wrote “Disco and DJs world is changing!
The most exciting thing about DJ mixing between 2 tracks, is
that the mix itself causes new vibes to open...is like the born of
new track!"
