Berlin’s Cinthie launched her 803 Crystal Grooves imprint in 2018 and marked a new chapter for her own productions, gaining widespread recognition across the globe for her take on raw House, Techno and Disco. Now 2019 sees the label branch out off the back of its success with a sub-label entitled 803 Crystal Grooves Collective Cuts, as the name would suggest, a home for music from the friends and likeminded artists of the label founder.

Making their return to Mother Recordings in 2020 is Tough Love. This time combining with rising star Reblok for a stellar two track EP ‘Alright’.
Tough Love have been at the forefront of the house scene for sometime now since they started in 2011. And in 2019 the dynamic duo showed no signs of slowing down having a powerful 12 months releasing on Solardo’s Sola, Gorgon City’s Realm Records, Kerri Chandlers Madtech & Elrow to name just a few.

BienAimer Records continue their journey into the depths of the underground with BAR004. Agustin Alvarez’s ‘Reflection’ EP features two original cuts firmly focused on the dancefloor.

Previous editions have been supported by the likes of Raresh, tINI, Jef K, Voigtmann and Traumer and the Detroit influenced ‘Standby’ builds a deep bass fuelled groove that builds layer upon layer of lushness throughout. Title track ‘Reflection’combines a rounded bassline and rich atmospherics to create a late night bomb worthy of the top artists that have been supporting it.

London hotshot producer Frazer Campbell reworks ‘Standby’ into a peak time cosmic groover while TIJN takes control of ‘Reflection’ where he introduces pumped up breakbeats turning off on a tidy new direction from the original.

Josh Baker joins the roster of Ben Rau's Meta imprint this November with his 'Swift Eviction' EP, featuring four originals from the Mancunian artist.

UK based producer and DJ Josh Baker has been steadily honing his craft over the past few years, releasing material on the likes of Adult Only and Hedzup whilst playing at the likes of Parklife festival and The Warehouse Project on his home turf of Manchester as well as hosting his own You&Me events in the city and playing hotspots like Pikes Ibiza, Mint Club, Leeds and more across the globe. Here though we see him deliver his latest works for Ben Rau's fledgling Meta imprint, sub-label of Inkal and home to material from the label-founder himself both solo and collaboratively with Rhymos, and the label debut from Ray Mono.
Title-track 'Swift Eviction' leads with a skippy, swinging drums grooves, swirling synth textures, snaking subs and vacillating vocal murmurs before the focal stages introduce a choppy organ melody to carry the groove throughout. 'Box Of Beats' follows, laying focus on an arpeggio bass lead, tension building atmospherics and brooding low-pitched vocal lines while modulating percussion and a robust rhythmic drive keeps things dance floor oriented.

Opening the flip side is 'Everything Together' edging things into deeper territories with ethereal chords, organic drums and an acid-tinged bass lead at the forefront alongside spoken word vocal lines. 'Buuky' then shapes up the package, laying focus on crunchy off-kilter drums, resonant synth flutters and airy strings.

Using rolling percussion and a thumping kick, 'Primo' really is unbeatable! Luigi uses synth stabs that add character and finesse to this outstanding piece of music. Hypnotizek rounds off the EP being more upfront about where it's going. This cheeky, groove based track will warm up a dance floor quickly and get people in the mood for a real party!

Highpath Record first EP from Bassam (Distrikt Paris) is swimming in the atmosphere. Between Minimal, House and Breakbeat, he is delivering a spacey, melodic and without a doubt dancefloor oriented journey. Alongside, Nacho Bolognani provides a remix that comes perfectly in addition to the trip

I am happy to welcome the talented woman BEC on my label! She delivered two amazing tracks in her very unique style, harder but with a sexy groove and deep melodies.

The dutch producer Egbert put his hands on „Psilocybin Therapy“ and gave the track a dark atmosphere, it is hard to say which version is the best. Let’s get high on that music (Monika Kruse)

Holsten delivers an absolutely stunning debut four-track in the form of the ‘Sealed in Time’ EP on the DROOGS imprint. The EP follows a barrage of blistering singles, cutting through the noise of a busy genre. Holsten’s definition of modern jungle draws on over two decades of refinery of the sound, summoning the spirit of the dancefloor.

Here's a new episode from Pit Spector's unique live label concept. This time Narcotic Syntax join forces with him to present a space cruise EP for a dance travel.

Conceiving a new concept that pulls together production and performance, Pit Spector threw a series of Prospector parties since 2014. For each soiree he invites a guest artist to his studio to work on exclusive live shows for the club as well as on new music for the label. In 2015, Pit invited musical Jedi Yapacc and James Dean Brown for a Parisian residency in his studio, and now they release the fruits of their labour.

During this session, the band recorded hours of hardware improvisation, merging their musical skills to present a full-live EP. Mixed at Yapacc's Berlin studio, the record sums up a narcotic sense of music devoted both to melody and groove.

The A-side presents a strong, dubby dance tune combining a vibrating, techno-related flow with soulful vocals to result in an elastic astral journey.

B1 opens the space for floating harmony to make way for a love song that's perfect to start a DJ set, a romantic affair, or for enjoying a starry sky.

B2 reflects perfectly the synergy between Narcotic Syntax and Pit Spector with its evolving beats and hypnotic synths that shift listeners and dancers into the sonic opulence of an electronic space opera.

The artwork by graffiti artist O'clock envelopes this musical narcollaboration in a brillant science fiction design.

As the tale of Prodigal Son continues, a fresh in your face French duo named Kas:st, the owners of Flyance Records, deliver an outstanding EP. Tracks Raving Alone & Desolation capture their grimey and chilling sound, which resonates well in any space. The remixes come in the form of a sturdy progressive groove version of Raving Alone from Aufnahme + Wiedergabe's Austria based Englishman, Codex Empire. Also Berlin's homegrown rising star Escape To Mars brings a flare of classic techno style to the record with secular rhythms and a transformation of Desolation's noteworthy pads.

Tobias Schmid produced his latest work, “The FU EP” (AND23), during the first Corona lockdown. When pandemic control measures were announced, half of Audision’s team took it lightly and thought: “It's wonderful that this pandemic falls at a time when I'm settled down enough that I don’t have to worry about the price of a bottle of red wine anymore.” He paid a visit to Jaques’ wine depot and back at home put his feet up, cranked up the Netflix machine and let himself go for a few weeks. Another thought slowly developed, too: The pandemic might also fall at a time when you can buy clones of legendary drum machines and bass sequencers for less cash – a thought that instantly inspired him. He ordered everything he needed and later picked up the Thomann packages from his neighbour. Our hero soon realised, that no viral infection had yet set in, so nothing stood in the way of letting his ideas, beats and basslines flow freely. He disappeared into the studio... ... and this is what he came up with: A1: Acid 672
This number refers to Studio 672 in Cologne, where the legendary Total Confusion clubnights took place. Hardcore Acid purists will probably shout: “Fake!” but are quickly hooked by the autumnal strings – a Mathew Jonson and Lawrence reference from the early 2000s. A2: PVSHL-202
PVSHL-202 – is that a new drum machine’s name or a track from Aphex Twin’s lost hard disk? A Basic Channel-like dub, originally paired with a Hi-NRG bassline. The hihat work is self-quoting (well done, Audision). The track is packed with suspense – ideal for listening to while waiting for your PCR test result. B1: Acid 672 (Tensnake Quarantine Remix)
It’s nice for Tobias that he isn’t the only one in quarantine. His buddy Marco Niemerski comes round for a glass of Bordeaux and delivers an alarmist-bouncing acid-stomper, where he filters out the bass line with a skill akin to top German virologist Christian Drosten who filters out those false positive results. B2: Glimmer Schwarzes Kerosin 
A sizzling-spherical minimal track with skilful frequency management in the style of GAS’ Zauberberg or Jan Jelinek's loop finding-jazz-records. It’s also a reference to the Augsburg former nightlife and the clubs that died with it.

Australian DJ and music producer Jad & The (Banoffee Pies, Rhythm Section, HAWS) launches his new imprint “Speed Dial” with the ‘Infinite Autonomy’ EP.

Dark and driving, these four tracks from Sonohat paint a monochromatic landscape tinted with mysterious melodies. "Nohemiann" sets the tone of the album with distorted chords and a whipping baseline. Next, fellow Romanian Vid's remix of "Nohemiann" subtly strips down the original with haunting, indiscernible whispers. On the B side, "Another Bottle of Wine" slurs vocals and drones to tell a textured story while the kick continues relentlessly. "Chains" returns to a groovy bassline and a nostalgic, yearning melody that reminds us how even the ability to turn everything to gold could, ultimately, be a curse.
