A new label straight from Ukraine, called Frequencies, is ready with its first joint. For this VA release they decided to gather 4 artists all around Ukraine for the unforgettable house journey.
A-side is starting with Odesa-based guru Rayo (All Inn, Fabric, Propaganda, Body Parts) and continues with a high-quality vinyl selector and producer Vinaya (Wex, Telomere Plastic, Black Pony Orchestra Records) from the capital of Ukraine.

After the success of the first and second releases which have been played by many, this is the time to present, with big pleasure, another master of the Riviera Romagnola and house music in general.

The living legend Flavio Vecchi, also called by some The Maestro, is now releasing on BAR Musica Re-Present some gems that never got released before. Hidden in some old DATs we finally found the way to give these incredible three tracks the right light.

A little curious story: one of the tracks is the very first track he completely produced on his Akai MPC 60 when he first bought it in 1995.

BAR Musica side project BAR Re-Present is proud to welcome for the second release the real Italian house music master Ricky Montanari. His always been considered one of the main artist related to the italo house scene - being part of the legendary Ethos Mana Club and Echoes Club - having produced classics like the Riviera Traxx and the Omnivores releases, just to name few.

Being a good friend and mentor of BAR Musica Label Head Bartolomeo - they dig together into Ricky’s DAT cassettes and found these two gems that NEVER GOT RELEASED BEFORE.

Connie & Karina join forces as C&K for the ‘Behave’ EP, coming via the UK’s Decay Records, featuring remixes from Molly and Mihai Popoviciu.

Across the past decade Decay Records has released material from the likes of Neverdogs, Javier Carballo, Alex Arnout, Hanfry Martinez, Javi Bora and Jay Tripwire among others, cementing itself as a staple of the raw, underground house scene. Here the label welcomes Connie & Karina onto the roster under their C&K guise with a new project.

The original mix of ‘Behave’ leads and lays down modulating synth swells, trippy vocal chants and airy synth textures atop a crisp, shuffled groove. Romania’s Mihai Popoviciu then reworks ‘ Behave’ next, embracing his signature aesthetic and reworking the original into a dubbed out, percussive led dance floor workout.

On the flip-side is ‘January’, where C&K take a more dark and gritty approach via undulating synth flutters, ghostly atmospherics, a sturdy low-end drive and eerie chimes. French artist Molly then rounds out the release with her take on ‘January’, extracting the core essence of the original while twisting into something more ethereal, subtly unfurling and gentle aesthetically.

This time one of our label founders Jonathan Lopez A.K.A Jonahlo wants to take you in a psychedelic journey on his new EP “ACID DAYS”; a four track EP where each track gets you through a different state of mind.

Jonahlo is an amazing musician, jazz bass player and producer from Bogotá, Colombia. He has released music on labels such as Nomada Records, Night Young and Otayana Records.

This trip starts with “Acid Days”; a superb Deep House anthem with layers of evolving sounds, exquisite melodies and uplifting chord progressions that make us take off and start feeling 100% positive. You can hear samples from cinema describing how it feels when you start connecting and being one with nature.

The following track is “Particles”; on this track Jonahlo goes deeper, evoking hypnotic and far-sighted moods of melancholy. At this point we start pondering about the universe’s infinite dimension and imagining particles vibrating as we fall into our deepest thoughts.

On the flip- side we bump into “Lost Mind”, a percussive deep techno with spacey and bleepy sounds reminding us that 90’s uk old-school style. Now is the time to get lost in the moment after going through the trip’s hard peak where you really start letting go.

The release closes with “It’s Alright”; a good vibe deep sampled house track that tell us to take it easy, to just relax and appreciate life.

The Album cover was disigned by incredible Colombian artist Jose Mejía which represents a flower going through the process of questioning oneself and coming out transformed on the other side. It is a process of exploration, discovery, and rebirth.

Italian born and Berlin based DJ, producer, label and record store owner Deluka kicks things off for Futuristic Architecture, System Error's newest offshoot for all things strictly Techno.

Deluka has long been a secret tip among vinyl and techno heads in Berlin and afar, having been a resident for several years at Berlin's infamously wild Same Bitches Party and the founder of No Signal Records, recently opening a record store of the same name.

With his Heroes EP, he commits 4 timeless techno tracks to wax, paying homage to his musical heroes with tunes that honour the sensibilities of the genre.

Deluka almost single-handedly reminds us of how much we love techno and we couldn't think of a better artist to begin this new story for System Error.

It has has been a mainstay in Gregor's sets and continues to amaze dancers and Technoheads alike: A tailor-made production for DJs that enjoy no-nonsense dancefloor weapons! On remix duties we present a man that doesn't really need an introduction: UK Techno guru Alan Fitzpatrick revamped the original track and delivered a huge remix, guaranteed to set the big festival floors on fire this summer! Repressed! Jurassic 5 flexed serious old-to-the-new muscles in the ‘90s, beginning with their independently released single “Unified Rebelution” in 1994, and book-ending with their stellar debut full-length: 2000’s Quality Control. They walked a tightrope between underground and mainstream hip-hop, and toured alongside rap peers as well as punk rockers on the Vans Warped Tour. With double the pleasure of your average hip-hop group – two DJs and producers (Cut Chemist and DJ Nu-Mark); and four MCs (Chali 2na, Akil, Marc 7 and Zaakir aka Soup) – they brought the late 1970s “unison MC” style of pioneering groups like the Fantastic 5 and the Force MCs to a new generation. Even more surprisingly, they did so out of Los Angeles, whose hip-hop flavors generally leaned towards Gangsta, G-Funk or Electro lines. Musically inventive and lyrically forward-thinking, each song on Quality Control is a new adventure, exploring engaging territory, delivered via one of the best live hip-hop shows fans had seen in years. From singles like the strutting groove of the title track to the throwback doo-wop samples on “The Influence” and the catchy, keyboard groove-driven “World of Entertainment (WOE Is Me),” to deeper album tracks like the lyrical gymnastics of “Jurass Finish First” and the thought-provoking “Lausd,” Jurassic 5 consistently stepped to the plate and their fans responded in kind, nearly pushing the album to Gold status. Add the innovative DJ-and-sample workout which closes out the album, “Swing Set,” and you have one of the 2000s’ most unique and solid full-length platters.

Gregor initially approached Marcel about a remix for the title track, and eventually not only did he deliver a sensational, dark and moody interpretation of that, he also handed in a remix for a second track: „Ursa Minor“. And boy, did he create a stunning remix for this one as well.
While the original track by Gregor and his longtime collaborator and good friend Petar Dundov dances in the sweet spot between house and techno, the ballrooms of New York and the suburbs of Detroit, Marcel Dettmann´s Remix takes it to the dark Berlin warehouse floors by adding an irresistible hypnotic edge to it. We couldn´t be happier to release these two fantastic interpretations, that feel like the cherry on top of Gregor´s most extensive and exciting album project to date.
