Coming of fresh from his Peel MD moniker which he collabrates with Tomrum the swedish analogue acid lord is debuting on RET.

Part two of this stellar debut EP proceeds exhibit a burgeoning artist’s vital take on the classic techno formulae. These four tracks see Arthur Robert, Austrian-born but now Amsterdam-based, expand on his deeply mesmerizing, richly detailed yet minimalist style. With the A-side holding two hypnotic cuts that carefully chug down the rabbit hole, the flipside unveils more of his refreshing approach to techno production. B1 impressively displays how to pair meticulous sound design and sheer dancefloor goodness into an electrifying rush of enormous propulsive force; the EP’s last track then harks back to the composer’s personal upcoming as a devoted follower of drum & bass music, pairing low-slung basses and eerie breakbeat science for a captivating ride along the hardcore continuum’s ceaseless ripples.

Menacing, Suspenseful And Packed With Sonic Venom, These Tracks Are Sure To Be Showing Up During A Peak Time Rave Near You Very Soon.

I have had the name and the idea for this release and upcoming series for years, but it wasn´t until now I felt the time and music was right. This new series will be my personal playground with no specific concepts and musical genres. Following my heart and ears. Being present. Being Noir. These tracks were created from a lot of live sessions and not so much from programming. I felt that gave my "man vs. Machine" interaction more nerve and real dynamics. V1 is emotional and dark. Gritty and raw. A true reflection of how I like my music in 2020. Each track has personal depth for me and feels like the perfect fit for my first edition of the Stimulateur series.

Super nice versatile ep with a stunning electro cut (Be careful and nobody dies) and some sick adventurous techno tunes!

Metempsychosis Records invites you to 'Breaking The Silence', the sonic soundscapes of End Train along with remixes by Oscar Mulero and VSK.

The release will be available in a transparent marbled black 12" vinyl. The package includes a printed insert, narrating the story of the Aztec god of wind, who inspired the creation of the record.

Story
Relentless percussions, savage rhythms and mind-expanding glitches narrate the adventure of Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec feathered serpent deity of Wind and his mission to interrupt the silence on Earth with music. A long time ago music was yet a privilege of the Sun who was keeping all the musicians confined in its realm.
The evolving nature of the tracks symbolizes the journey of the Wind, who, helped by the waters, reaches the Sun s land. Disoriented and lost in the Sun s maze, he accepts the challenges that his adventure presents and endures a lengthy and demanding quest to find the music. The only way to get on the right path is by feeling the sound itself. By trusting it and following the air vibrations, he finally finds the courtyard where all the musicians are playing. Despite the Sun s crying and imploring the musicians not to go, Quetzalcoatl manages to bring them all down to Earth. With their arrival, the silence in the world is suddenly broken, while sounds and music sprout everywhere as animals and humans learn how to sing and play.

This story teaches us that through our perseverance and also by working with others - like the wind joins forces with the waters - we can change any condition and bring wonderful things even where they do not seem possible. It s up to each one of us to create the world we want. So abandon yourself and embrace the broken silence.

>>>>Cryovac Recordings exists because craftsmen and artists work together to make it so. Cryovac enlists individuals that are true to their identity and expression. These conscripts are survivors that adapt and continue through techno's ever changing terrain. Cryovac works to expose the depth, creativity, and diversity of the Detroit underground. We believe that vinyl is the best format to inscribe our effort. It is our intent to leave a physical record of our time before we can no longer speak.

>>>>Brian Kage moves quietly letting his personal projects, various labels

and collaborations be his voice. His production is marked by a big and lumbering sound pushed by a strong crispy percussion. His clear headed response to techno electro is a conditioning of a Detroit instinct. Kage’s drive to achieve his vision means escape from the box and into his own world. >>>>Andy Garcia and Mike Kretsch have a shared method of recording and editing that works naturally together. It is a mindset of minimally based 4/4 progression amid simple synth hooks and heroic rises. They build a free form improv jam and insert it into a mathematical arrangement. It is this duality of extremes in which their tracks find identity. The Garcia/Kretsch team endeavor to tell a story one melody at a time.

Though the clubs and festivals shall remain closed for the foreseeable future, Kölsch has kept the beat alive with the release of four new tracks since the start of 2020. Thankfully he has not disappeared from the stage completely and has delivered a weekly flow of Sunday DJ sets from his studio to yours via Facebook. In true Kölsch style he has as usual tested and played new demos and tracks in his sets hinting that there is more new music to come... And that day has arrived. The third instalment / double single makes a huge entry with “The Great Consumer”. This is one of the best rhythms you will hear this year. Especially given that it mingles playfully around Kölsch’s signature synth melody and even harps at some point! “Remind You” finds Kölsch embracing a soulful side to his music…the tune shimmers with a fundamentally Detroit House vibe - trumpets and vocals duet to a relentlessly catchy rhythm. This track is pure jam. Truly a welcome soundtrack to sunnier days.

Gold! Ohne Frage ein Soundtrack für sonnigere Tage.

* Lemon D steps up to deliver two unreleased cuts from the archives for the second instalment of the ‘Legends’ series on V. This series aims to source some of the finest unreleased gems from some of D&B’s most well-known and established artist that never saw the light of day, and press them up for the world to hear.

* ‘Wu Tang’ has been doing the rounds on various message boards and D&B group chats for years, possibly cut from an old Kiss FM show from the mid-90s. It recently had new light shone on it by the D&B producer Serum who called it out as one of his favourite unreleased tracks from this era. Sounding as fresh as the day it was made ‘Wu Tang’ is a classic, rolling, dancefloor steppa, simple but deadly, and complete with some iconic Wu Tang samples!

* As part of the legendary Valve Soundsystem alongside Dillinja, Lemon D forged his own path in Jungle D&B, and is responsible for a plethora of iconic tracks from the 90s and 2000s. On V alone the seminal ‘I Can’t Stop’ secured his place in D&B folk law, but as well as that there are countless genre defining, and bending cuts that mean the status of ‘Legend’ is richly deserved!

In our 4th EP release from OMEN Recordings, we bring you 'DETOX', written and produced by Russian artist, DRAAG, an amazing discovery with unique and astonishing style. To complement the release, we added remixes by our very own signature artists: Berlin-based, AYARCANA, and AXKAN from Los Angeles.

DRAAG begins the title track, Detox (A1), with hard 4X4 kicks, and glitchy, metallic snares that drive momentum and groove. Listen carefully and unsettling vocals and frightening screams begin to creep about, intermingling with a potent synth lead. By Mouth (A2) is cut from the same burial cloth, as it were - rich, dark melodies underlie powerful, kick-driven rhythms as a storm of noise washes through, punctuated by quick, attacking hats. Simultaneously sumptuous and unnerving. The digital format features a bonus original track entitled Acidosis, which sets out with steady kicks complemented by dark textures that enhance the main acid synth lead. The result is sure to make movement mandatory for any crowd.

AYARCANA's merciless remix of Detox (B1) starts out ready to destroy all in its path - we predict this full-bodied track will become a new favorite of industrial techno fans in short order. AXKAN's remix of Acidosis (B2) unapologetically declares dominance through heavy breakbeat kick patterns, icy screams, and a razor wire acid bass line that slices through the track, this EP draws you in.

OMEN once again pushes the boundaries of industrial techno with this EP

Paul Ritch is no stranger to Drumcode and has returned with an outstanding single featuring three tracks that will dominate DJ sets. The first track 'Run Baby Run' entertains us with an arpeggiated chord sequence that is accompanied by percussion-like synth sounds before bursting into a thick-layered sequence of sound. The dark and dubby side of the single see's Paul's 'Astral' bring a funky sleazed out groovy track that also uses a discerning melody. 'Mind Insistence' is a dark 5am groove that will keep the dance floor swaying in the early hours with it's tripped out feel and syncopated percussion.

Rolando Simmons finally gets his first full EP at Analogical Force, and there will be more!. SD series pulses with a beauty and squelchy character all its own, from its foundations up, and we here are excited. For part one, the swedish producer has assembled 5 tracks packed with melody and melancholy, aching pads and grooving, punchy bass. Written by the lakeside, winter will be summer.

A Sagittariun joins Craigie Knowes for a 3-track lunar rove on his label debut 'Live From The Sea Of Tranquility'. Beats, bumps and textures melding conventional dance music aesthetics with modern and firmly-UK flair. The EP showcases a lifetime of effortless genre-straddling as Harris turns his hand to a wide spectrum of instruments, sounds and formats at will. The artwork for this record is also hiding more than a few hidden messages for Apollo/space exploration buffs, following in the tradition of almost all previous 12" releases on Craigie Knowes. Credit is also paid to Andrew Weatherall as he helped guide and tutor A Sagittariun's production over the years - R.I.P Lord Sabre.

Adriana Lopez's Grey Report returns again with a four-track EP signed by rising artists Temudo & Norbak. With previous releases on labels such as Soma, Modularz or Warm Up, to name a few, in this occasion the Portuguese producers join forces to show their distinctive way of combining textures with dynamic percussive components. Intense and functional warehouse techno.

We're delighted to be able to welcome Scientific Wax head-honcho Equinox to 7th Storey Recollective, bringing with him three previously unreleased cuts from his 90's archives.

As one of the most respected DJ's and producers in Jungle & Drum n Bass, Equinox needs little introduction to those in the know, with a slew of releases spanning well over 25 years on Brain Records, Paradox Music, Inperspective Records, Bassbin, 8205 Recordings and his own Scientific Wax and off-shoot imprints to name just a few.

Rising Spanish talent Paul Rudder launches his new label RDDR with the four-track EP ’Chromatic’. The EP explores Paul’s more deep, groovy and dub sides of his music, and it comes with two collabs with his long-time friend Jay Nortown. Vinyl-only release, pre-orders start on the 16th of July.

microcastle begins 2020 by welcoming Cornucopia back to the label for a new EP. The mysterious artist makes a much-anticipated follow-up to the July 2018 release ‘Forever Gone’. The three-track offering saw a wide spectrum of play and support from some of the underground’s top tastemakers in Adam Port, Ame, Baikal, Dixon, Frankey & Sandrino, Guy J, Jimi Jools, Laurent Garnier, Luca Bacchetti, Patrice Baumel and Solomun. With a release on Multinotes to highlight 2019, Cornucopia now lands back on microcastle with ‘River of Memories’ to begin the new year.

Elusive and organic in equal measure, the transcendent nature of Cornucopia has the rare ability to unite a cross section of music lovers. The romantic sounds of ‘River of Memories’ sits as perhaps the most apt illustration, invoking a rare combination of hope, heartache, reflection and meditation across it’s eleven-minute storyboard. Shrouded in mystery for nearly three years after countless live airings, it’s the pensive nature of ‘Holding You Tight When The World Collapses’ that follows. Rich in tone and texture, there is also a keen emphasis on rhythm and groove, as exotic drums and low-slung basslines marry fragmented melodies and wispy atmospherics, creating just the right balance of tension and emotion before melting down into the timeless sensibilities and metallic clusters of the EPs closer ‘Orion’. Classy and refined, it rounds out another elusive chapter in Cornucopia’s unique musical history, continuing the artist’s love for intriguing melodic concepts, while already finding a place in the playlists of the worlds most astute DJs.

To mark Osiris's 60th release, label head Simon Shreeve dons his Mønic guise for a richly saturated three-track EP that pays homage to the label's Drum & Bass origins and Shreeve's own past as Kryptic Minds. From the screaming call-to-action horns of 'Regeneration' on the A-side, to the creeping menace of 'Research Methods' and the Jazz in fuelled beats of 'Always for Tomorrow' on the B-side, a return to the rhythms and textures of D'n'B contrasts Shreeve's recent outings as CUB with Karl O'Connor, solidifies Mønic as his most experimental, genre-defying, and preconception breaking alias.
