Mathias 'SHOW-B' Schober makes his Pooledmusic debut with the Arps EP. A talented producer & engineer, Schober has been releasing under his SHOW-B alias since 2007, since when he has had EP releases on Poker Flat & Compost Black Label, an exclusive track featured on La Fleur's Watergate 16 compilation, and a release on Delusions of Grandeur with Milton Jackson as Pattern Select. The Arps EP sees SHOW-B blending his various talents in the A side 'Arps To Heaven', a heady deep house track with a swirling melody that recalls the trippier end of Strength Music and Deepblak's respective outputs. On the B1, Ian Pooley follows up his huge Innervisions EP 'Floris' and the Rejected re-issue of his anthem Chord Memory by fusing the original's psychedelic elements with a classic, irresistible Pooley groove. The B2, 'Isifuba', sees Schober focusing on a swinging house beat structure for the early hours dancefloors.

Sideral is the debut 12' of Talaboman, the super-duo of Hivern Discs' John Talabot and Studio Barnhus' Axel Boman. The record is released as a joint venture between the labels and comes with a slow-burning remix by Köln-based producer Matt Karmil to accompany the boombastic original version, which was also featured on John Talabot's much praised entry in the DJ-Kicks mix series last year. This record is dedicated to the legendary dj Aleix 'Sideral' Vergés, who ruled over Barcelona's underground discotecas during the turn of the millennium and sadly passed away in 2006. A truly fearless and idiosyncratic dj, Sideral mixed genres wildly and brilliantly, uniting in the dance people from all kinds of musical backgrounds. At a time when few djs dared cross musical borders, he was a real inspiration for both the Barca native Talabot and the young Swede Boman, who lived in the city during the peak of Sideral's reign.

Hot on the heels of their recent twelve from Tilman and Florist, Charmin Records are very excited to be motoring onto their third release with this excellent VA bringing in material from new friends of the label. The East German imprint expand their sound to take in rougher techno, acid, and also more hypnotic and spacious territory. The artists on the roster are label founder Florist, Stanley Schmidt, Matt Thibideau and Billy Dalessandro and the result is a diverse excursion that stays true to the core ethos of the label.

Dapayk always delivers. With 'Over The Top' and 'Orwo' the Mo's Ferry label boss polished the prettiest grapes taken from his current liveset. He comes up with four version, each of them with a special focus on the vinyl or digital format. Thumbs up!

After the full-on digital release of our latest label compilation we're proud to present 'Diary 4.1 A Vinyl Selection' - a 12 vinyl single featuring a sweet selection of four essential tracks taken from the vast richness that is to be found on 'Diary No. 4 - Compiled By Gunnar Stiller". With these tunes produced by the likes of Einzelkind, Daniel Stefanik, The Cheapers and Gunnar Stiller himself we're sending special shouts to all vinyl loving DJ's, bringing them a hand-picked selection of high quality electronic dancefloor cuts for heavy primetime workouts and late night abuse. 'Finding Love' is the mission for Einzelkind of Pressure Traxx- and La Pena-fame and they're about to find it straight at the heart of the dancefloor, in the midst of the sweat-covered, ecstatic crowd happily floating along dark'ish basslines, ever repeating vocal bits and a sweet little, glockenspiel'esque melody playfully peaking through the heavy bass grooves every now and then. We are very happy to finally share with you our first release of 2016 as we bring our second Italian artist onto EarToGround.

'Ness' also known as Andrea Deplano first caught our attention with his seminal track 'Neuronic' which came out in late 2014 on Pole Group - Soon after that release he started work on a full Ep for EarToGround.

The tracks included here have been specially made for this release and individually display his excellent dynamic range, sound design and unique take on techno. They have been tried and tested in the best situations, always getting an excellent crowd response - you'll find a place in a set for all the tracks featured here.

For our next four releases we welcome back one of our original graphic designers 'Grade A'. We feel the audio and visual here match perfectly.

After the success of 'A Is For Acid' Perc Trax Ltd continues with first ever collaboration between the London brutalist dream team of label boss Perc and regular Perc Trax artist Truss (R&S, Avian, OCS) for an EP of no-bullshit, hardware based techno.

3-tracks, each recorded fully live in one-take. No second attempts, no re-edits and no processing of the tracks after they were recorded. Add mastering by Matt Colton and you have one of the rawest techno EPs in recent memory.

As with A Is For Acid the first pressing of this 12' will be on clear vinyl with a full colour double-sided artwork insert by Jonny Costello, who previously designed Perc's 'Wicker & Steel' album and 'Labour Division' by Forward Strategy Group.

Abayomi is back with with some strong and heavy Techno tracks.

'Repetition Reinforcement' is a chilling reminder of Consumer Electronics' brute, incisive force and reaffirms their unique position in today's extreme electronic music.The long-running alias of former Whitehouse agitator, Philip Best, and now featuring vocals and music by Sarah Froelich & n0!se pioneer Russell Haswell, Consumer Electronics hold steadfast to an unflinching observation of, and reflection on, contemporary British culture, recently exemplified in the coarse noise techno rants of 'Estuary English' (Dirter Promotions, 2014). On both these new songs, though, Best's lyrics and delivery distil his bracing vitriol to nerveshredding degrees, trading the explicit rage of 'Estuary English' for hushed, under-the-skin implication, aided by Sarah Froelich's deadpan vocal and Haswell's streamlined, but ever visceral, frequency fxxkery. 'Murder The Masters' cuts right to the bone, (w)rapping a disaffected tirade in deeply unsettling, over-the-shoulder tones, skeletal techno kicks and clammy atmospheres. You can practically smell Best's breath on your neck.'Alien Existence' follows suit, swapping volume for skin-crawling intimacy. Here he shares vocals with Froelich in a probing dialectic of sexual politics smeared against sagging kicks and looking glass synth discord.Put simply, few other c*nts have the balls to broach this topic: best left to Best and co..

It's been a while since the two buddies Martin Eyerer and Chopstick worked together on some music after their big hits 'Electric' and 'Make My Day (Haunting)' back in 2006/2007. Only now the two labelfounders (Kling Klong and SUOL) found the time to get back behind the gear and finalize two great new tracks. Defected artist Sonny Fodera from London provided his typical slamming remix so it's all set for a great comeback for Eyerer & Chopstick.

Here's the pitch: ask six of Chicago's finest exponents of bumping house and pitched down disco cuts to contribute some of their finest works, blend them all together and present in the appropriate space either side of two 12" slabs. What's the end product The rather hot looking Chicago Service from the Amsterdam label Lumberjacks in Hell which features a merry cast of the city's finest in Gene Hunt, Rahaan, Jamie 3:26, Cratebug, Hugo H and Boogie Nite across two hot plates.

Having recently reworked songs by Lana Del Rey or Booka Shade, the fast rising
collaboration of Andre Crom and Chi Thanh is no stranger to giving their dancefloor
treatment to some of the most respected artists of these days. Now indie pop
favourites Metronomy seek their magic touch to turn "Love Letters" into a house tune
with all the ingredients to create an epic vibe.

The vocals of the song, that gives name to Metronomy's 4th studio album, are turned
from its original psychodelic 70's rock form into a profound stab-driven deep house
jam, with a bouncy bassline and great synth progressions suitable both for radio
waves and groovy club enviroments

Its hard to think of dutch wonderboy Franky Rizardo without inmediately associating it with his massive contributions to the Defected catalogue or his broad spectrum of mainroom hits including collaborations and remixes work for some of the most important names in the game. This time he proves his versatil nature by submerging himself into a more underground vibe, the type we learned to love so much at OFF headquarters. We didn't take long to decide once we heard what he had in store for us, the tracks were loud, sexy and intense.

"A New Recreation" builds around an addictive r&b vocal while a driving bassline keeps the pace and a sexy xylophone type synth tells us summer is getting closer by the hour.

"Touch My Soul" has a deeper perspective with classic house chord stabs and another hypnotic vocal prancing around a massive drum machine groove.

"I've Got A Feeling" closes this amazing package diving even deeper with lush keys, bubbly bass and an overall feel good atmosphere.

Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. For that first one the famous trio propose 3 huges bombs Mö4, Mö5 and Mö6, 3 huge techno killer using rough skins with raw edit. Speech less and listen to that we can call Pure TEchno.
While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Over the years, Mulla has become recognized for his residencies at prolific club-nights including Natives, Kreativ & De Nachtdivisie. Sofi De La Torre has a special charm, the sound of her voice inspires millions of thoughts and melodies and that was no exception for our star team composed by Andre Crom and Chi Thanh, a now steady force conquering the scene both with their original work and always hunting for fresh talent such as hers for their exciting dancefloor remakes. The beautiful and incredibly talented Spanish singer now living in berlin was kind enough to let our crew express their own interpretation of "Vermillion" (her new Single coming out in June) and as always, they turned it into another dancefloor essential full of warmth and deep feelings.

The song builds up with vibe synth stabs and horns that create a perfect atmosphere for the sweet vocals while a groovy bassline and housy drums add the perfect dance factor to the whole thing, all constructed with finesse and great taste. A true masterpiece that will sure ring in everyone's ears for a long time.

JD Samson & MEN - All The Way Thru (Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix)

A while ago, OFF Recordings head Andre Crom was captivated by "All The Way Thru", a single by Jd Samson's new project band "Men"; part of their second album and already receiving lots of praise from specialized media like Pitchfork.

So he got in touch with the former singer of electronic-punk act "Le Tigre", to see if it was possible to craft a club version of this pop-electronic anthem with catchy vocals and an indie feel. Luckily, everyone was thrilled with the idea, and it rapidly came to life.
Crom teamed up with OFF's latest core act signing Chi Thanh to create a modern yet classic feeling remix, which is a sure shot for the dancefloor with it's organ stabs and clever use of the epic vocal

New Swedish label Aniara Recordings brings you deep, dirty and slow house & techno from the northern hemisphere.

Kruse & Nuernberg are without a doubt one of the most active duos in our core act roster and after being part of the 5 year anniversary EP and extensive tour while also releasing their work on Exploited and Rejected, we couldn't wait to deliver another pair of their trademark dancefloor weapons.

This ep is aimed straight for the prime time of discerning house club, starting with "Boom Boom Ciao", a bass-house driven by heavy synth licks and a very clever programming, full with intense breakdowns and variations. On the flip, "Two Stories" is a more paced down journey but with chord stabs and piano progressions that builds up into a massive break and a groovy bassline.

This heavy touring german team is truly doing things right, and this new ep proves why they remain one of the most powerful forces in today's house music.

Together with his brothers in mind Musumeci and Olderic, he has recently formed a highly visible team closely connected to Connaisseur and reinforced by their new weekly radio-show "The Sound Of Connaisseur' on Ibiza Global Radio. Now it is time for new music. After his tremendous debut EP "Sargas' and his uber-remix for Of Norway feat. Linnea Dale's "Spirit Lights', he presents his next strike with the 4-tracker "Flora & Zephyr'. Named after the mythological love couple Flora, the Sabine-derive goddess of flowers and of the season of spring and her husband Zephyr, son of the titans Astraios und Eos, Lehar wanted to transport this passion- and romantic-laden story into his new release. With the beatless intro track "In Ipnosi' Lehar kicks off the release. A wonderful hypnotic affair with strong synths and shimmering percussions. Next up is the majestic "Zephyr", a real titan of a track, with a strong groove and demanding chords. Jack Fuller is a Harlem based singer, songwriter and dancer who works closely with many pop and hip-hop acts, including Azealia Banks. He's also in the 'vogue trap' project, aNvKai. N'conduit is Brooklyn based producer & engineer Alex Hamadey. He produces ambient music under SmallBroadcasts on Something Records and is in several collaborations including Lindbergh Palace, MC&Hammer and Shadow Lanes. Alex also co-runs two vinyl labels: Voodoo Down Records and Rock and Roll Records. By day he composes for film and commercial with Hyberballad Music. This is his fourth vinyl release. Thanks to german wonderboys Pelé & Shawnecy for keeping their best tracks for Monika Kruse's label Terminal M!! After great releases on Cecille, Cocoon and Get Physical, this 4-track EP is definitely a true masterpiece. Releasing our sixth vinyl release we came to a conclusion that Fresh Juice and Lunar Station are profiling themselves into two strong vinyl releases thematics on Baile Musik.
After last Lunar Station edition with Marko Nastic, Luca Doobie, Glico and Adrianho we are back to our roots. Fresh Juice Part 2 is produced by some of the finest and everlasting Baile Musik residents.
It all started with first Fresh Juice edition by Crocodile Soup, Lilith, Jessica Diaz and Monika Ross, well recognised by our big fresh eye cover.
Max J and Coockies, Thomas A.S., Battric & MIVU and Sonartek are all very well known names of underground tech house and minimal techno scene, selected to be producers of Part 2.
Always inventive, always fresh and always diverse and interesting sounds by each of them.
Each track presents unit for itself, from house variation by Max J and Coockies, to intelligent Minimal by Thomas and strong dance floor killers by Battric & MIVU and Sonartek.
Our 94th edition offers plenty of interesting moments combined with dance floor fillers and top quality final processing by Rob Small.

For all the black gold lovers, Baile Musik proudly presents very first vinyl series that will be in stores in summer 2014. This massive V.A. features four tracks by Fresh Juice members Crocodile Soup, Jessica Diaz and Monika Ross including a guest appearance by the Dutch beauty Lilith.

While Jessica Diaz and Crocodile Soup represent their dark side with some heavy bass, Lilith s track builds a bridge to Monika Ross, showing the opposite with a very jazzy tune for the happy situations in life. Crocodile s - L homme mystere' is all about the grooving bassline that steps through rainy territory in an atmosphere of an Italian gangster movie that finds its climax in a mysterious phone call.
Miss Diaz s - Tres' keeps on that flavor charged with some typical dub sounds and vocal whispers here and there that keep the experience going on. If you listen close you will hear all the little noisy details snap- ping in your eardrums from all directions. While those two are four to the floor groove based tracks, Lilith and her - mani Padme' comes along with some super cool drums paired with a sad mood in an experimental ambience of arabic voices and chants; a pure masterpiece if you like endless rhythm within a story of love and faith.

Madame Magic', produced by Fresh Juice member Monika Ross, completes this release with its tech-house beat enriched with melodic parts that make you feel like you are sitting in a jazz-café. You can hear the people talking in the atmosphere while the groove carries you through the story in a very smooth manner.

All in all this vinyl is a great and round package packed with quality music for the early and later hours. It will definitely make people move on the floor with nothing but groovy minimal and tech-house.

Dear friends of Connaisseur, In our scene, a decade is a long time. When we started the label, we didn't have a master plan, we simply wanted to put out good music we loved, of which we were sure others would love it as well. The way Connaisseur subsequently grew came naturally. If you are music lovers like we are, current musical tendencies will of course always have an infuence on your sound, but basically we stayed true to ourselves and our core has always stayed the same. Yes, we love melodies, yes, we love deepness and yes, we love great emotions, but in which electronic style these are conveyed, is rather secondary. That is our leitmotif, from "Eve By Day" until today and every day to come. For our anniversary release, we had the idea of asking for collaborations only, as we like the energy of two creative minds coming together and creating something special. Some of the chosen couples had already worked together, others had not. As a result, we now have 6 collaborations, which will be released digitally in two parts and as a selection of three tracks from the two parts on a very nice, limited vinyl.
We are very happy about the variety of styles we have received: From modern trance in the best possible manner f rom Olderic and Peter Pardeike, over timeless Detroit-infuenced techno-guardian sound by the two legends Aril Brikha and Chymera, start-of-the-art melodic tech-house from our fgureheads Lehar and Musumeci, a cover-version of the 90ies alternative rock classic - Pets' from Pornos for Pyros by our norse darlings Of Norway in collaboration with the Scandinavian popstar Linnea Dale and the multi-instrumentalist Preben Olram, a Warp-style electronica pearl by the Wareika sidekick project Silky Raven together with Hamburg club-dj legend Solaris 100, to last but not least a techyguarantor by Maltese pirate The Element andConnaisseur label head Alex Flitsch.
