Recently unveiled Norwegian Heavy Metal act Avrak was founded in 2023 by guitarists Anders Hegna & Ted Skjellum; himself notable for being half of legendary duo, Darkthrone. The pair had known each other for many years, & with a mutual passion for old, classic rock & metal they finally embarked upon this new journey together under the banner of Avrak.

Ted had declared from the beginning that he would in fact not carry out main vocal duties in the band, & so Anders - with his own voice befitting of the style - took on this task.

Still quite early on within the formative stages, Terje Kråbøl was brought in on the drums &, from there-on, with his percussive presence backing up some thunderous riffing, the creative work accelerated until enough material was produced (and relentlessly refined), culminating in the self-titled, hook-laden & doom-laced rock debut, ‘Avrak’.

Suitably & epically defined as a monumental “Heavy Metal voyage from the peak of the mountains to the depths of the seas”, & delivering themes relating to empowerment in the face of increasingly corrupt times, ‘Avrak’ is a combination of a vast multitude of influences, as the eclectic, deceptively nuanced nine track offering features a classic heavy metal & doom rock backbone, with further experimentation including synth passages, & even some traces of black metal riffing in its DNA.

Avrak subsequently held its debut show in their local town of Porsgrunn in late April 2026, backed by the brand new bassist & final piece of the puzzle, Steinar Gundersen, with more live shows intended in future to support the release.

This edition of ‘Avrak’ is presented on limited silver vinyl, including printed inner sleeve with full lyrics.

„When I am most enjoying making music, I have this sense that I'm just watching cycles of sound happen and match up in front me on their own and I'm not really just doing anything and it's really nice. Most of these tracks stem from a small collection of
iteratively distorted percussive jazz and breaks that I kept coming back to and watching them cycle around each other.“

This is Billus' approach while he is out in the studio zone. As a result, we all get the chance to scuba-dive into his soundscapes like a warm blanket, interwoven rhythms and cosmic textures, that seem to have the ability to heal. The fresh feels was real,

Coming from deep within the city that brought us Master P’s legendary No Limit Dynasty and Lil Boosie comes an artist who uniquely encapsulates the crossing point between lowslung Hip Hop and forward thinking, emotive electronic music. 22-year-old New Orlean’s based Suicideyear AKA James Prudhomme brings his own Southern Gothic perspective to the table with new album ‘Color The Weather,’ set for release on July 6th via LuckyMe. Although not his debut album per se - 2015’s ‘Japan’ on OneOhTrix Point Never's Software label was a collection of previously released beats – ‘Color The Weather’ represents the first time Suicideyear has specifically sought to create a complete body of work, further developing different textures and sounds that were hinted on last year’s critically acclaimed ‘Hate Songs’ EP. Within these tracks lie the ghosts of Prudhomme’s past - a difficult childhood truncated in his teens by his family home burning down. When he left Baton Rouge for his new home in New Orleans he found himself further entrenched in the Southern Rap scene whilst he soaked up the avant-garde electronic music he found online. Balancing his tender instrumentation alongside some of the tightest drum programming in the game - these tracks twist and turn - new elements are built and destroyed constantly encompassing a huge emotional range. On the records’ two vocal features he expounds on this innovative and ambitious duality – Domino Records own Georgia filling the track with longing and hope whilst Prudhomme deconstructs the track around her. The Casey MQ featured ‘Said and Done’ goes further - the last third of the track slowing to a codeine induced haze paying a nod to the Chopped and Screwed sound of James youth. “​Color The Weather is about the ability to build or form security after trauma/betrayal & building personal coping mechanisms to get through said traumas. For Talking with the Taxman About Poetry, Bragg embraced a more fully realised band sound with the help of special guests Kirsty MacColl and Johnny Marr and production courtesy of John Porter (Roxy Music, The Smiths) and Kenny Jones. ‘Taxman…’ was his first top ten album and gave the world some of his most enduring songs in ‘Greetings To The New Brunette’ (his first top 40 hit), live favourite “Levi Stubbs’ Tears” about a victim of domestic abuse taking comfort in the music of the Four Tops, and classic workers’ anthem “There Is Power in a Union”.

Workers Playtime is the fourth album by Billy Bragg, originally released in September 1988. Helmed by legendary producer Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, Fairport Convention et al) and his former Riff Raff bandmate Wiggy, Workers Playtime saw Bragg deliver his most tender and empathetic collection. The band featured the legendary Danny Thompson on double bass, BJ Cole on pedal steel, Bruce Thomas (Elvis Costello & The Attractions) on bass and Micky Waller on drums. Licking his wounds after another victory for Margaret Thatcher at the ’87 general election, he wrote ‘Waiting For The Great Leap Forwards’, one of his most enduring songs, while the stunning a capella ‘Tender Comrade’ confronts the ugly prejudice of the moral majority. Melancholy and disillusionment are part and parcel of Bragg’s songwriting, but always with a healthy dash of optimism.

Phosphor’s sixth release, Devotion, is a collaboration between Blue Vision and their friends Alben & Laje from the south of France. Four tracks reflect their shared taste for modern club rhythms and retro influences.

Opening the A-side, Devotion (A1) mixes deep chords, techy drums, lush synths and vocoder vocals. Warm and uplifting, it brings the two duos’ sounds together naturally, adding a touch of emotion with enough drive to heat up the dancefloor.

Braquo (A2) takes a more minimal approach. Choppy rhythms and short synth phrases move around a recurring bass motif. The interplay between drums, bass and synths gives the track a tight, playful groove.

On the flip, each duo contributes a track of their own. East Waves (B1) starts this second half with a modern club sound and touches of the ’80s. Bold and melodic, it keeps the energy flowing.

To close the record, Italo Highway (B2) pays tribute to Italo disco. Its warm, nostalgic mood suits the early hours of an afterparty as much as an open-air festival, ending the EP on a brighter note.

22, A Million is a record of dualities. First released in 2016, Bon Iver's third album found Justin Vernon reckoning with pain and love, suffering and redemption, omens and happenstance. Such ambiguity is the core of how Justin composes words: there are always two ways to see something. Inside a fragmented language of symbols and numbers is a sonic distillation of past years of turbulence and how to recover. Across ten songs, 22, A Million shattered expectations of what a Bon Iver record could be. Through different groups of friends—close, passing, new, old—he began to assemble proto-melodies, vague textures and specific moods from hundreds of hours of recorded improvisations. Songs like “22 (OVER S--N),” “33 ‘GOD’,” “715 - CRΣΣKS” and “8 (circle)” traded familiar structures for fractured electronics, pitch-shifted vocals and dense layers of sound. What initially felt like a radical departure has since become one of the most influential and enduring works in Bon Iver’s catalog. 2026 marks the ten-year anniversary of 22, A Million. To celebrate,


Bon Iver and Jagjaguwar will release a deluxe anniversary edition pressed on Frosted Silver vinyl, featuring new alternative artwork with soft-touch finish and spot UV gloss detailing. The package will include the original 28-page lyric booklet, represented here in 3x silver inks, with an additional 12-page full-color inlay booklet documenting the album’s creative process through previously unseen artwork and an essay penned by Eric Timothy Carlson. The Brooklyn-based artist’s visual work has shaped the Bon Iver world since 22, A Million and his visual language has become inseparable from the album itself. A custom 12-panel ‘inverted cross’ CD edition will also be available.

Opening the release is Bonifaz ‘Encore’ a sample heavy slice of filter-house with a sprinkling of French touch,
laid out across five and a half minutes with with a chuggy bass line, dubby synth stabs and an amalgamation of
choppy vocal chants all dynamically evolving and unfolding throughout amongst a crisp, robust rhythm section
that carries the groove throughout.

On the flip side, Uit de Hoogte offers up 'Whooop!' built around a acid-tinged synth hook with envelope
fluctuations through, sweeping resonant synth flutters, heavily swung drums and intricately processed vocal
lines resulting in a high-octane workout perfectly primed for the peak time hours on the dance floor.

What makes a life well lived? Career, home, savings, family: these are the milestones that make adulthood legible as success. Friendship, meanwhile, is often treated as something that either endures or doesn’t, more a matter of luck than a relationship requiring its own devotion, maintenance, and care. When really, as the world becomes more isolated and artificial by the day, friendships may be the most important thing a person ever builds.


“A lot of times in life I feel like a late bloomer, like I'm still trying to get my shit together in a way that other people have already figured out,” says Chastity Belt drummer/vocalist Gretchen Grimm. “But then I reflect on my adulthood, and my top priority has largely been my friends, which I do not regret at all.” That priority feels like the guiding principle on the band’s sixth album, All My Friends. Not that they set out to make an album about friendship—during mixing the band's longtime collaborator and engineer, Samur Khouja, pointed out that a lot of the songs referenced the subject. Which makes a lot of sense.


Julia Shapiro (guitar/vocals), Lydia Lund (guitar/vocals), Hunter Truscott (bass/vocals), and Grimm have been making music together for 15 years. Friendship has sustained the Chastity Belt project as its members have grown alongside one another, both as people and as musicians. Across a resonant catalog, they’ve moved from the raucous wit of their early records toward the lush, introspective moods they’ve refined on each album since via trademark intertwining guitars, meticulous rhythms, and double exposure of melancholy and optimism.


All My Friends comprises songs recorded across multiple years, time zones, and studios, including Seahorse Sound in LA, Way Out in Woodinville, and a centuries-old house on the Greek island of Hydra. The oldest track dates back to around 2018; the newest were finished within the past year. These days, the band spans three cities (Los Angeles, Seattle, and Chicago); less writing/rehearsal time means songs are often worked out in the studio, relying on the spontaneity and instinct that comes from knowing one another so well. The result is rawer and less polished than their last couple of records, closer in spirit to the band’s roots.

Claudio PRC's latest album Self Surrender got reworked into a special live A/V show for San Francisco's Endzeit collective. During SF Art Week 2026, Claudio PRC performed a deconstructed version of his latest album originally released on Delsin Records in 2025. Just over halfway through 2026 and Craig Bratley’s ‘Return to Bass’ has already been cited as one of the albums of the year and a future classic. Here, two of the album’s standout tracks return in a variety of guises.

First up is “Everybody Pushing”, featuring the vocal talents of Thomas Gandey. Recently described as a “proper blissed out Balearic rave tune,” this release pairs the original with an instrumental version and a remix from the ever reliable 40 Thieves. Their remix takes Everybody Pushing somewhere considerably more psychedelic, pushing the track into late-night territory while retaining the spirit of the original.

Bratley takes care of the title track “Return to Bass” with the Ashigaru Flashback Dub. Hitting harder than Anthony Joshua, the remix strips the track right back, ditching the trumpet in favour of sirens, vocal samples and tougher drums. The result sounds like what might have happened if N.W.A. had got their hands on some Purple Ohms and a TB-303.

This collection compiles all of Crow's studio albums with their original '69-'71 lineup. Crow Music, Crow By Crow and Mosaic are each individually packaged with a liner note insert - all contained in a pizza box style package!

Crow By Crow sees the band really turning up the heat! Their sophomore release spawned two minor hits, the Larry Williams cover “Slow Down” and an original, “Cottage Cheese.”

Mosaic carried early ‘70s rock to new heights, blending a new mixture of country and blues. With heavy steel pedal on “Watching Can Waste Up The Time,” Mosaic was Crow’s last effort to make it big before vocalist David Wagner departed the group.

'Get Back' is a 8-track album and collection celebrating the last ten years of Italian DJ and producer Da Lukas, a respected name in the global nu-disco and house music scenes. After two highly praised singles on consecutive Razor-N-Tape Family Affair compilations, Dennis Liber brings his signature tropical disco sound to the Astro Danza EP, his first solo outing on the label. Inspired by years living in and creating community in the Caribbean, the EP brings together an international crew of musical cohorts to take listeners on a journey through different shades of paradise. From the hypnotic night time energy of the title track, to the tropical joy of Être Heureux (with a standout remix from French producer Anoraak), and the dreamy celebration of feminine freedom in Femme Papillon, the Astro Danza EP is the cosmic and sensual sound of endless summer!

Desmond Adolphus Dacres was born on 16th July 1941 in Saint Andrew Parish, Greater Kingston, Jamaica. As a youngster Desmond regularly attended his local church with his grandmother and aunt. Here would bring him his lifetime religious commitment and his enjoyment for singing.

Dekker moved to parish of St. Mary following his mother’s death as a result of illness. He later moved to St. Thomas, where he took up an apprenticeship as a tailor, before he moved back to Kingston and landed himself a job as a welder.

His co-workers encouraged him to pursue his singing career, he successfully auditioned for Leslie Kong's Beverley's record label and was awarded his first recording contract. As his career took off this was the time he decided to adopt the name Desmond Dekker instead of 'Dacres'.

A key yet elusive figure in UK acid and tech house history, Dexter has spent decades refining a sound driven by hardware, repetition and pure instinct. Built on dry sampled grooves, heady vocal fragments and hypnotic synth patterns, his music locks into
trippy, rolling rhythms with a distinctly futuristic edge.

For his debut LP, Dexter opens the vault. Presented as a triple 180g heavyweight vinyl release, the nine-track collection brings together unreleased archival material, rare alternative cuts and sought-after classics from the early noughties. Together, they trace a
vital body of work originating from the roots of the London underground.
