Youth isn't usually associated with wisdom, or depth or complexity for that matter. Most 22 year-olds are still figuring out how a washing machine works but in the case of Howes (the solo project of Manchester-based John Howes) he's making electronic music that is operating on innovative and experimental levels one might expect from a hardened career musician hitting their stride. Having released a more House-oriented 12' on Melodic a couple of years ago, his debut album proper is a record that is as expressive as it is cohesive. It's a release that floats between nocturnal stillness and insomniac driven intensity. The shift, Howes Says, 'Comes from the forced and narrow nature of a lot of electronic music. Most modern electronic music to me is too safe in terms of ambition, sound design and intention.'

The aforementioned middle of the night quality is hardly surprising, given the creative process behind making the record as he points out, 'Most of these tracks come from finishing work on Friday, going home and starting a patch, working on it till the sun rises, sleeping a couple of hours, waking up and working on it all day and through the night until Sunday night. By this point you've honed down all the madness into something you understand and control in real time. Then I record live to a cassette machine I've had since I was a kid. There's only two tracks on the record that have any editing and overdubbing, the rest are just recordings of the cassettes.'

The referred to patches come from Howes' experiments with modular synths, 'I used to struggle making stuff on a computer, you can do anything, sound like anyone, but there's nothing the computer gives back. To get around it I started making my own software to make tracks on, then I got into modular stuff and building my own bits of proper kit. I wanted to have a setup that works like my head and the only way to do it was to start making these bits myself, I'm not into the fetish of modular stuff and analogue this, vintage that, I just like the way I approach these things I've put together myself.'

Howes' work method has resulted in a record that feels at times personal and melancholic, charged with emotion and humming with a warmth that comes from such a labour intensive and solitary work routine. By not doing any editing or overdubbing Howes admits that 'Its pretty hard to listen to because I can hear the shortcomings' however, it's a process he's overall very pleased with, 'There's other bits that make me really proud. I like the fact there's nothing to hide behind, you can hear mistakes, you can hear me tweaking notes till I find the few that emotionally resonate with me, its like trying to put people in the room with you.'

Trying to place a label or genre association on this record is like trying to keep hold of an oiled snake, the second you think you have it, it wriggles away from you. Which, as it turns out, is exactly what Howes intended, 'I don't really think in terms of genre, most of the tracks are from self generating patches which sometimes come out with elements of house/techno but are mainly stripped back to the point where they can't resemble any established music form, maybe ambient but that's a cop out. I'm more into getting lost in something and not knowing what it is I'm making, getting stuck in a trance all weekend and then recording the last 5 minutes.'

LACK is the solo project of Philip Maier of Carrboro, North Carolina. Maier has had previous releases on Morphine, Break World Records, Tone Log and his own labels, both solo and with Sagan Youth. He is currently the proprietor of GROVL, a small-press cassette label.

Manuel Göttsching Live in a terrific Japanese setting: Mount Fuji. Concert from 2006. Includes high class Sound Recording and highly sought after tracks like Shuttlecock' and many more. Manuel Göttsching may not have released as many albums in recent decades as he did earlier in his career but when he does release something new, it's always something special. Manuel's latest release was recorded live in April 2006 during an excellent solo concert near Japan's Mount Fuji. Manuel performed the entire concert alone accompanied by stunning visuals by a polish graphic artist and he also dug into his back catalog coming up with new arrangements of classic material. The album opens with Sunrain' which was originally from the 1976 classic New Age of Earth". The familiar hypnotic sequencer pattern is already in place however on this new version, Manuel takes it in a slightly different direction and extends the piece to nearly 15-minutes."Saint and Sinner' is a more recent piece, which was originally heard on the 2005 release Concert for Murnau". This laid back piece is taken a step up from its studio counterpart as Manuel adds a bluesy Clapton-esque guitar lead that wasn't there before."Trunky Groove' is a brand new piece composed for this concert and is a showcase for the psychedelic music style that was the norm for Manuel back in his very early days in Ash Ra Tempel. A techno-style rhythm is accompanied by a long drone and intense orchestrations before giving way to an effects-drenched guitar solo. Die Mulde' is a 20-minute excerpt from Manuel's long-form 1997 piece of the same name. It begins with the Die Spiegel' section of the piece and shifts into the closing Zerfluss' movement. As with Saint and Sinner", Manuel adds a guitar lead which wasn't in the original version. Finally, to close the album, we have yet another arrangement of the classic Shuttlecock' which originally is from the 1977 masterwork Blackouts".

The first release of this London based record label is dedicated in showcasing some of the most talented and innovative artists making moves on the juke/footwork scenes around the world.
The tracks featured range from warehouse bangers to disco jivers and will accommodate for a wide range of musical preferences and styles.
The first track is a rolling dancefloor destroyer from "Pawn" This regular player on the Shoot Recordings label is no stranger to dirty bass music and each release has seen him go from strength to strength with this newest release "Do U" being no exception.
With its rolling drums and heavy baseline this track drops like a stick of dynamite and will no doubt be followed by some crazy leg movements on dancefloors across the globe.
The second track is from a true pioneer of juke music. His Label "Dynamix Records" has seen him pushing some of the best and brightest artists on the juke scene to date. "Matt Davis" AKA "The Renegades" brings us "The Warmup" a beautiful example of a juke/jungle hybrid which really shows his passion for the old skool while giving it a modern twist. His love for melodic soundscapes and jungle drums rings true throughout this track and will bring joy to all the old skool and new skool ravers alike.
Track three is from one the most dynamic producers i have ever come across, it seems there is no style of music this man cannot make. Better known for his disco and house record labels "Vorres" AKA "sccucci manucci" has been a big part of the music industry for many years now and his releases span from deep house to garage to dubstep. "One of these old days" is a beautiful soul gospel take on juke and has a truly unique and a melodic sound that you will want to play again and again.
Finally we have a brilliant upbeat disco/juke edit from "Sideswipe". This track would be just as at home on any disco dancefloor as it would be at a warehouse rave. "Be With U" has all the groove and funk anyone could ask for while still staying true to the juke format. "MUKATSUKU" label owner "Nik Weston" has already shown the track some love and incorporated this new sound into his future disco/funk sets. This final track rounds off a truly innovative and exciting EP which is one not to be missed.

"We Will Not Harm You" sees "UK bass legend" (Mixmag) Dobie release his first album since 1997's classic, "The Sound Of One Hand Clapping" (Pussyfoot). Thirteen tracks of deep, beautifully worked instrumental music, based in hip hop but touching on techno, house, dubstep, latin, twostep, jazz, soul, funk and everything in between, "We Will Not Harm You" is a work of art from one of the pillars of the Black British music scene.
Created over the eighteen months, "We Will Not Harm You" sees Dobie develop the style pioneered on his two EPs for Big Dada and take it still further. In combining his love of classic breaks with the most contemporary music-making techniques, his feel for soul with the essential rawness of his hip hop education, Dobie makes something unique and timeless. So "Blip 124" runs bleep back through the bloco, "Stan Lee Is Hero Of Mine" pits funk drumming against a snaking, evil, electronic bassline, and first single "She Moans" is an exercise in the interaction between percussion and bottom end, a kind of deconstruction of dubstep back into its consitutuent parts. Tunes like "The Chant" and "Crunch Factor No.5" are an insturmental hip hop as hard, edgy and psychedelic as anything coming out of the LA Beat Scene, "Snap, Crackle & Pop" takes the spirit of breaking and spins it out into space, "Magenta" re-thinks the house grooove. "Then I Woke Up," meanwhile, is an exercise in psychotic mood music, "Somewhere Over There" is the kind of beautiful, soulful interlude you'd expect to find on an obscure soul-jazz B side, while "She Wiggles When She Walks" is a shimmering, transcendent conclusion to a great album.

Heavyweight vinyl with two extra tracks

Kelis describes her sixth album as 'a kind of unspoken lovefest', involving two unlikely partners.

On the one hand, there is Kelis Rogers, who first came to prominence singing the hook of Ol' Dirty Bastard's 1999 hit "Got Your Money". This was the visually and sonically compelling 20 year-old whose debut album Kaleidoscope helped usher in the wave of sharp, thrillingly futuristic R&B that dominated the charts in the early Noughties, as exemplified by her global hit, "Milkshake".

On the other there is Dave Sitek, guitarist in acclaimed Brooklyn experimentalists TV On The Radio and producer to a certain kind of smart, indie band (the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foals and Liars to name a few).

Food is a startling combination of Kelis' most frank and vulnerable vocals to date, and Sitek's inimitable sonic imprint. Littered with transcendent, Spector-esque lift, warm bottom ends and vast depth, the music is the perfect backdrop for Kelis' unique voice. The latter has only improved with time and experience, and the album candidly explores pain, happiness and everything in between.

Recorded at Sitek's house in LA (and entirely produced by him), Kelis' new album, Food, mints a sound that's rootsy without ever being self-consciously retro, that pitches live horns and gospel organ against electronics, that for all its classic soul and funk influences, couldn't have been made any time but now.

Brainfeeder's de facto New Age guru and all-around production wizard Matthewdavid returns with a sophomore full length for the label, an all-inclusive mindflight entitled 'In My World'.
Unlike prior album 'Outmind', a largely ambient and inward journey, 'In My World' expands exponentially to a multitude of lavish sound worlds liberally punctuated with 'Low End Theory'- approved doses of speaker-rattling sub-bass.
Whether rapping or singing, the producer's vocals are pushed forward as the centrepiece of this album. Rightly so - with a freshly minted marriage and the recent birth of his first child, the Los Angeles-based Dublab resident and head of Leaving Records has an abundance of wonders to vocalise.

The record opens with 'Contemplation', the glassy surface you break through to reach the murky, sub-merged depths of 'Primrose Avenue'. 'Contemplation' stands as a shimmering and immense, mentally purifying preparatory reboot process.

'Resolutions' warm and spacious pads suspended, looping in the mix would be soothing if set apart from the swung beats and exhalations of gaseous metallic tremors. It's the music of a landscape that is simultaneously urban and aqueous, where odd melodic enquiries are posited through a pulsation of sound that possesses the curious ability to evoke both spiritual engorgement and utter desolation.

On 'On The Way' Home that strange shuffle Space Afrika create using percussion laden with lingering, hissing reverb wraps around a more upbeat pulse. The bass worms under a seriously jazz touched chordal workout that chimes with a similarly soul-hugging vibe sound as before. These elements, combined with the filters applied to the beats, give the production a quality that sounds like a preterit form of Drexciya's atmosphere-focused application of Techno.
The pace of 'The Sudden Walk' is set to beats that live by an irregular heartbeat and digital-sounding sideswipe, where generously mixed cymbals cut through haunting, fx shrouded concrete. This sonic architecture intrudes on the trancelike rhythm of the mechanical & robust drums, processed sounds of the city interrupt its interplay with the bell-like orbs of low-ringing chimes, perhaps signalling the final undoing of the cleansing process experienced at the record's beginning. Reboot required.

With one of the biggest artist lineups to have ever graced one EP, Critical Music presents Phace, and his friends. The perfect outro for the labels most successful year yet.

Perhaps the most compelling of all the many projects started by one-time members of Wolf Eyes, Clay Rendering came to life in 2013 and have since released a trio of singles for Hospital Productions that have gained them the admiration of followers spanning both electronic and metal communities. Their material occupies unique terrain, recalling The Cure's widescreen Disintegration-era instrumentals, cut through with a Black Metal palette and an appreciation of electronic music that imbues their production (notably assisted by Dominick Fernow) with an end-of-world quality that's impossible to pin down. Evoking Nine Inch Nails one moment, you find yourself in a smoke- filled, strobe-lit Road House the next; bleary-eyed, head spinning, coming down.

Proper stuff by Aikido master, chef du jour and mighty machine man outer world operator, Elliott Thomas. Here he ups the chianti and elevates his trademark techno machine to a higher level of difficulty. With AWIM, he takes us on a deep and drummed out pony ride around the living room and back via the club, while Ultimate Energy is a veritable proton energy pill destined to melt dance floors and make DJs cry! ET phone home!!

For the eleventh installment in the Blendits Audio series, frequent collaborators ''Mindmapper'' & ''Silvahfonk'' are returning to the Rotterdam based imprint with their strapping ''Absolution EP''.

The A-side effort ''Absolution'' evidently showcases the incidental duo's production skill in which the unyielding beats collide nicely with the serendipitous guitar strums and mechanical sound effects that occur throughout. On the B side, the almost herculean sounding drum patterns are continued on ''Raised''. The ominous pads guide the track into a thriving minute of disarray before turning to a doomy fashion with fierce growls and plenty of drum pattern switches. A bonus track called ''Compromised'' is included in the digital release (the breakdown is bad!).

On Monday 23rd September 1996, Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) released his debut album 'Better Living Through Chemistry' through the renowned independent dance label Skint Records. It was the starting point of a roller-coaster journey that has gone on to include massive hit singles, multi-platinum selling albums, three Brit Awards, a Grammy, an Ivor Novello, 10 MTV Awards, the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony­ and worldwide DJ superstardom which continues to this day with a hectic schedule of DJ performances and festival headliner shows.

This album celebrates where it all began - the brilliant original album - a seminal dance music moment in history, and expands on the story with a whole disc of bonus tracks including recordings from the Fatboy vaults that have never been released before. The 2CD expanded edition includes sleevenotes from Skint label founder Damian Harris.

2016 has seen an incredibly busy schedule for Fatboy Slim, he's taken on his first Ibiza residency at Cream, Amnesia throughout the summer, he's appeared as the festival headliner for Snowbombing(Mayrhofen, Austria), Lost Village Festival (Lincolnshire), We Are FSTVL (Upminster), Riverside Festival (Glasgow), We Are Electric (Netherlands), Sónar Festival (Barcelona), Glastonbury, Bestival (Dorset), Belsonic (Belfast), and Creamfields (Liverpool).

To see the year out with a bang, Fatboy Slim will be hosting two giant shows in spectacular arenas. On December 9th he'll take over The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, and on the 17th he'll take over The O2 in London. The shows are 'in the round' which according to Fatboy himself will mean '360 degrees of smiley sound & vision'.

Zum 40. Jahrestag von Kraftwerks fünftem Album "Radio-Aktivität", das ursprünglich im November 1975
veröffentlicht wurde, riefen der Komponist und Klangkünstler Franck Vigroux, der Jazz-Pianist und Komponist Matthew Bourne sowie der Installationskünstler Antoine Schmitt das Projekt "Radioland" ins Leben. Dafür vertonte das anglo-französische Trio die Originalstücke von "Radio-Aktivität" erneut. Jedoch weder als Coverversionen noch Neuinterpretationen, daher auch der Zusatz "Radio-Activity Revisited". Die Kraftwerk-Tracks stellen vielmehr Startpunkte dar, von denen die Künstler zu Entdeckungsreisen aufbrechen, ähnlich wie das John Coltrane bei "My Favourite Things" (Rodgers & Hammerstein) tat. Sie speisen vorhandene Melodien, Klänge, Rhythmen und Töne in ihre analogen elektronischen Geräte ein, verkabeln diese neu und lassen die Maschinen arbeiten. Was diese als Ergebnis ausspucken, ist ein Sound, der exakt so von Kraftwerk stammen könnte. Auch deshalb, weil zahlreiche 90er-Jahre-Vintage-Synthesizer zum Einsatz kamen. "Radioland" wurde zunächst als audiovisuelles Experiment präsentiert. In die Läden kommt das Album als CD mit 20-seitigem Hardcover sowie als Vinyl im Deluxe-Klappcover inklusive CD-Beilage. Beide
Editionen sind streng limitiert und mit einem Begleittext von David Stubbs ausgestattet, dem Autor von "Futur Days".

Volume 5 of the MPM producer series introduces two of Amsterdams most promising new producers: Full Crate and FS Green. Forget your favourite Amsterdam clichees, no hookers and stoners here, just pure musical heat. Crate and Green come with the most forward-thinking and progressive beats - or shall we better say music~ - in the Hi-Hat Club so far.

It was inevitable: since their first collaboration in 2012 for the making of the track 'Tá bom', the MC and the trio were constantly having their paths crossed, either in studio or on stages. It was then, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the label in the beautiful Réunion island, and around a glass of rum and a cigar that the decision was made: The Journey will be release in October 2015 and the trip is about to start...
For its production, the three 'Chinese' disciples will draw from the darkest record bins: Banjo method, 30's music, flutes from the Andes... the goal rather is simple: step out from the usual territory used by the sample addicts and get as far away as possible from the hip-hop to then come back with new perspectives. Five of the titles were produced by Chinese Mab and one by LeYan and Tomapam.

In parallel, six instrumental versions complete the album, including great contributions from Hugo Kant, Le Syndicat Du Chrome and Scratch Bandits Crew. Tumi's texts, in their turn oscillate permanently between mockery and bitterness. Behind the humor and punchlines, Tumi shares his vision of the music world and his place in it.

In studio the group decides to foster a sense of urgency so as to preserve a rough aspect and a live energy at the heart of this adventure. The World In Pieces by Alfons Knogl is a musical reflection about the unrestrained and powerful transformation of Istanbul. Composed during a residency there it is like a blueprint for changing social structures. They are followed by huge emotional imbalances in coexistence notwithstanding that the aesthetic density of the metropolis appears entirely marvelous.

Drone-based experiments (notably with Tony Conrad, extremely present on the album, and John Cale), and purely electronic compositions - a path (almost) nobody knew MacLise had explored. Miraculously salvaged by Gerald Malanga, these archives provided a new perspective on the artist's whole body of work and expanded considerably his artistic palette. And so we are now able to draw a whole record's worth from MacLise's early electronic music. Angus MacLise, born, March 4,1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, was a percussionist composer, poet, and calligrapher. He was a member of La Monte Young's Theater of Eternal Music, with John Cale, Tony Conrad, Marian Zazeela and sometimes Terry Riley. He contributed to the early Fluxus newspaper V Tre, edited by George
Brecht and George Maciunas, and was also an early member of The Velvet Underground, having been brought into the group by flatmate John Cale when they were living at 56 Ludlow Street in Manhattan. MacLise played bongos and hand drums during 1965 with the first incarnation of the Velvet Underground. Although the band regularly extemporised soundtracks to underground films during this era (The Invasion of Thunderbolt Pagoda by Ira Cohen, Chumlum by Ron RiceŠ), MacLise never officially recorded with them. Later in the 1960s, Angus and his wife Hetty traveled around between Vancouver, Paris, Greece and India, finally settling in Nepal. They also
had a son, Ossian Kennard MacLise, who was recognized by Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, the 16th Karmapa, as a reincarnation of a Tibetan saint, or tulku, and at age four became a Buddhist monk. MacLise died of hypoglycemia and pulmonary tuberculosis in Kathmandu
in 1979, aged 41. He recorded a vast amount of music that went largely unreleased until 1999. These recordings, produced between the mid-'60s and the late-'70s, consist of tribal trance workouts, spoken word, poetry, drones and electronics, as well as many collaborations with his wife Hetty. In 2008, Hetty MacLise bequeathed a collection of her husband's tapes to the Yale Collection of
American Literature.

We're happy to introduce to you a brand new project from two
exceptionally talented German producers going by the name of
Clavis. Manuel Tur, well known for his releases on Freerange, Mild Pitch and more recently Running Back has joined forces with Adrian aka Urban Absolutes of Paskal & Urban Absolutes fame and their debut release the Banza EP is the result of this fruitful
collaboration.
The title track brings some serious heat with both producers'
influences shining through and the end result being a dynamic and unique slice of percussion fueled, atmospheric deep, electronic house.
Mirzoza's Dream once again creates an expansive, widescreen mood with a simple piano riff providing the rhythmic drive punctuated by a cross-rhythmic bass note. Precision production and minimal approach to the arrangement will ensure this one sounds perfect on a big system.
Kuniyuki has been making amazing music for the last 15 years on
labels such as Mule and Sound Of Speed and we're happy to finally have him remix here on Freerange and with a seemingly perfect project for him to add his special touch. His remix of Mirzoza's Dream sees him stretch it out to an 8 minute 30 reconds of deep and twisted rolling analogue tricknology. Keeping the subtle mood of the piano riff in place, Kuniyuki expertly cranks up the energy by fattening the drums and building on the crazy synths, chartering his own course through a meteor shower on this intergalactic space journey!

Picking up right where the last track on the previous COH release RETRO-2038 left off, the new album is focused on the use of beats within the similar aesthetics. While most of the previous COH records openly shy away from accentuated beat structures and instead build up their rhythmical content by layering waves and pulses, every track on TO BEAT is padded with just that - beats. The music transition is illustrated in the album's artwork, displaying transformation of a sine-wave, a tone, into a waveform which is "beat".

Die Form is a French post-industrial and electronic band formed in 1977. The name 'Die Form' means '(the) form/shape' in German, like the Bauhaus diary and is a play on the English homonym 'deformed' and on the French homonym 'difforme' (deformed). Die Form is the primary project of electronic musician and multimedia artist Philippe Fichot. He began by recording a number of experimental cassette releases in the late 1970s and formed the Bain Total label to release these early cassettes and various side projects including Krylon Hertz, Mental Code, Camera Obscura, Eva-Johanna Reichstag, Hurt and Fine Automatic.

In 1982 Die Form released their debut vinyl album, 'Die Puppe' in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. These are the first esoteric electronic experiments, often improvised, from what would become the sound of the project. Underlying themes of eroticism, death and other 'taboo' subjects are apparent in both the music and the album artwork, which Philippe also produces. The album was recorded with entirely analog equipment (Roland MC4 Micro-Composer, TR-808 Rhythm Composer, ARP 2600, Kawai 60F, Revox B77). Songs range from hypnotic, minimalistic proto-IDM to pure, daring experimental sound manipulation. Unable to fit into any genre, 'Die Puppe' is in a class of music all its own.


All songs have been remastered from the original master tapes for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The jacket is an exact replica of the original 1982 edition designed by Philippe Fichot, with a photograph of a porcelain doll holding a syringe. " Hydras Dream is a special collaboration between the Swedish musicians ANNA VON HAUSSWOLFF and MATTI BYE (winner of the Guldbaggen 2014 price for scoring the film drama ""Faro"" and composer of the film score for ""The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared""). The concept behind this project is to interpret stories, movies and myths into musical landscapes. For their debut album ""The Little Match Girl"", von Hausswolff and Bye construed the beautiful and melancholic story by H.C. Andersen of the same title. Asked about the reason for this particular choice, the two musicians state: ""It was her tragic faith in the winter's cold that inspired us. She is freezing to death with no money and no comfort, she is all alone, dreaming of a warmer place. When death strikes her she is filled with magical illusions and dreams. Oddly enough, hypothermia and death are the only two comfort zones we experience in this story. Sad but beautiful." The music of Hydras Dream is mostly made through improvisation and by using repetitious patterns and melodies. Indeed, the two musicians state ""We want to use intuition and spontaneity as two key elements in the compositions, and therefore we don't pre-record anything. We just play whatever feels good and fits the theme and press rec."" Thus it is no surprise that ""The Little Match Girl"" was written and recorded during only three days in Matti Bye's studio. Exploring the entire spectrum of their instruments, von Hausswolff and Bye ingeniously combined their virtuosity in order to craft an eclectic and delicate album, located somewhere inbetween neo-classical experimentalism and avantgarde dream-pop. One can virtually image how the notes of this debut faintly resound behind the candle-lit windows which separate the little match girl from the life-saving warmth, how their echoes join her in her inevitable fate ... After the Rain is the latest offering from Mark Van Hoen and Louis Sherman's Locust project. Following up the 2013 release 'You'll be safe together' this new album sees Locust stepping away from the abstracted forms of previous works presenting a more melodic/harmonic proposition. Bathed in a warm nostalgic memory 'After the Rain' draws on Mark's formative influences, primarily 70's electronic music. With greater input by Louis Sherman (who, although being born when Mark was originally taking in this music shares an equal enthusiasm for this particular period of European melancholic machine music). Unlike previous Locust and Mark Van Hoen releases which relied on programming and sequencing much of this new record was played live, creating a space where innovation is secondary to the suggestive power of time, space, mood and melody. Rich in melancholia and a yearning for a world once suggested After the Rain explores a crack in the historical framework, one embracing female identity and astute observations of melodic atmosphere. After the Rain is a melodic electronic mood record which presents itself as a triumph of historical revisionism.

Darkjazz/ Experimental/ Electro. This split consitutes an exciting collaboration of these two French experimental/avant-garde/dark jazz acts. In mutual respect and appreciation, both DALE COOPER QUARTET and WITXES selected a track of their split companion and created a fundamental and independent rework of around 20 minutes length. Based upon parts of Witxes' ""The Apparel"" -- from the last album ""A Fabric of Beliefs"" -- and afternoon summer recording sessions, the DALE COOPER QUARTET's ""Le Strategie Saint-Frusquin"" contains the classic sounds of the Quartet: ambient soundscapes, lazy jazzy rhythms, drone and distorsion guitar and a deep saxophone breath. Being mostly instrumental, the deep tone of Ronan Mac Erlaine's voice comes to ease the stormy start of the music piece. A grainy and blissful track that resembles music coming through of a 50s radio speaker, letting dark jazz flooding the room. ""Pisces Analogue"" is a new WITXES piece based on ""Nourrain Quinquet"", a track from ""Quatorze pieces de menaces"" by Dale Cooper Quartet & the Dictaphones. In five movements, the track explores the interstices and cracks of the dark, minimalist, lurking, cycle-evolving original piece. It offers to take a look at some of its nooks, focus on a few of its endless micro-universes and jump from one to another in a flash. Just like swimming in a puzzling dream. If there is anything in common with previous Witxes output, it is a strong sense of motion as well as narration to be seized by the listener. Though this piece uses heavily processed instruments takes from ""Nourrain Quinquet"" as well as a few typical Witxes field recordings, it is Witxes most synthetic work to date. It was written, recorded and mixed in 3 weeks during summer of 2014 in Lyon and co-produced by Michael Mysak. Making use of on an array of instruments, field recordings, found sounds and vocal treatments, it's a largely analogue variant of hi-tech production styles arcing from the dissonant to the sublime. The first two tracks recorded during these early sessions bookend the release, the opener 'Time Away' featuring Euphonium played by Kim Holly Thorpe and last track 'Missing' a contribution by Stott's occasional vocal collaborator Alison Skidmore who also appeared on 2012's 'Luxury Problems'.. Between these two points 'Faith In Strangers' heads off from the sparse and infected 'Violence' to the broken, downcast pop of 'On Oath' and the motorik, driving melancholy of 'Science & Industry' - three vocal tracks built around that angular production style that imbues proceedings with both a pioneering spirit and a resonating sense of familiarity. Things take a sharp turn with 'No Surrender'- a sparkling analogue jam making way for a tough, smudged rhythmic assault, while 'How It Was' refracts sweaty Warehouse signatures and 'Damage' finds the sweet spot between RZA's classic 'Ghost Dog' and Terror Danjah at his most brutal. 'Faith in Strangers' is next and offers perhaps the most beautiful and open track here, its vocal hook and chiming melody bound to the rest of the album via the almost inaudible hum of Stott's mixing desk. It provides a haze of warmth and nostalgia that ties the nine loose joints that make up the LP into the most memorable and oddly cohesive of Stott's career to date, built and rendered in the spirit of those rare albums that straddle innovation and tradition through darkness and light.

Der Noir is an italian coldwave trio composed by Manuele Frau (vocals), Manuel Mazzenga (electric & bass guitar) and Luciano Lamanna (drummachines, synthesizers). The group formed in Roma in summer 2011 as a project for the members to create something totally different from their usual musical out-fits, in fact all the members come from as different musical fields as hiphop, black metal and psychedelic rock. Faith wanted to give a possibility to theese guys to try other ways of expression, and they began recording their debut album over a one-month period in the Audio Division's studio where Lamanna works as sound engineer. The debut album, 'A Dead Summer' came out in early 2012, and the sound result blends cold wave, dark pop, shoegaze and depressive with a focus on vocal and guitar textures. The usage of 80′s synths, drum machines and recording equipment gives the sound a particular old & cold shape.

Francisco Lopez's La Selva masterpiece re-edited, re-mastered and available for the first time on vinyl. La Selva
is an immersion into the sound environments of a tropical rain forest in the Caribbean lowlands of Costa Rica. An astonishing natural sonic web created by a multitude of sounds from rain, waterfalls, insects, frogs, birds, mammals and even plants, through a day cycle during the rainy season. A powerful acousmatic broad-band sound environment of thrilling complexity. And above all, a tour de force of profound listening. Original recordings done at La Selva Biological Station during the rainy seasons of 1995 and 1996. La Selva was premiered in an acousmatic performance at Teatro Fanal of the Fanal Contemporary Art Center in San José, Costa Rica, on August 1997.

The follow-up to the great Holla EP by Johannes Brecht Henrik Schwarz's Sunday Music imprint. In the meantime labels like Mule Musiq and Boso succesfully released their own Brecht tracks and extended the audience worldwide. In My Time Of Dyin' continues the deep, musically output of Henrik Schwarz's Sunday Music label in the best way possible. Very recent, reflecting jazz, classical minimal music into electronic music. Johannes Brecht is by the way the classical music arranger on Henrik Schwarz upcoming full orchestra album, coming in April 2015. When Henrik Schwarz heard the music from Johannes Brecht he knew now was the time to reactivate his label SUNDAY-MUSIC again that hasn't released a record in quite a while now. Johannes is a wonderful musician that plays bass and keyboards and also writes music for orchestra. When a classically trained musician looks into electronic music and manages to bring together the best of both worlds the result can be very exciting.

Our favourite Austrian D&B super group return to round off their year with the absolutely firing 'Elektrik EP'. Brimming with four tracks of super sonics, Fourward yet again prove their credentials, arming us with the most high-end ammo perfect to bring down any dance.

I guess with this EP we wanted to try and mix it up a bit more again, like we used to do, a couple of years ago. We didn't want to have a 4 track EP representing only one "niche" of D&B. Touching all corners of our music became more important to us again and that's what we did while we made this EP. During the summertime we wrote quite a bit of the more soulful, more viby stuff, and we definitely wanted to have one of these tracks on the new release ('Memories Of You'). We took a few months to write a whole lot of music and picked these 4 tunes to be our new EP. All in all it's a good representation of what we're doing right now'. Fourward

Markantonio can rightly be described as one of Italys true Techno titans, working tirelessly as he has since the late nineties to bring the tougher side electronic music into the light. Recording for labels such as Marco Carolas Design Music, Billy Nastys Tortured Records and Umeks Recycled Loops, Markantonio has spent the last 16 years on the cutting edge of quality Techno but it was with the launch of his Analytic Trail imprint in 2001 that he perhaps truly came into his own.
The label became a hotbed for emerging and established names as Markantonios own productions sat alongside releases from the likes of Jospeh Capriati, Davide Squillace, Rino Cerrone, & Paco Osuna. Away from the studio he established himself as a global DJ, taking his own unique sound on to the road, across Europe and beyond and garnering fans wherever he went.
Now the Naples based DJ/producer has distilled his near 2 decades of experience into this, his debut album. Musichemistry is a relective work that draws inspiration from the artists musical beginnings. Taking its cues from his formative experiences as a DJ and even earlier as a younger sibling influenced by his brothers weekend party preparations, the album explores, as the title suggests, the chemical influence that music has on the brain.
Opening with the downtempo, left of center title cut Musichemistry its clear from the off that Markantonio is here to offer more than a straight up techno selection. The first portion of the album explores the producers lighter side, twisting from the opener into the house tinged offerings of True Story, Brain Training and Does Not Exist.
From here on in the sound morphs into a rolling ride of tech fuelled beats and speaker rattling basslines. Tracks such as Carny and Abduction explore the deeper side of techno, whilst the likes of Last Way and Yho are floorfilling monsters that are sure to take the roof off.
Throughout the selection Markantonios open minded production proclivites rein, with subtle melodic elements, ethereal pads and understated percussive elements rubbing shoulders with tough stabs and brutal kick drums, he is undoubtedly an artist with an incredible musical pallette at his disposal.

90s ambient icons Global Communication's first production since 1997 arrives in the form of a remix. This is a super limited edition one off white label vinyl pressing... 250 copies worldwide.

Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard's 76:14 is one of the 90s' most acclaimed electronic albums, while a cast of aliases (Reload, Jedi Knights and more) also orbited the project. Their last record came out in 1997, and although there was a live reunion in 2010, the new material we were promised is yet to emerge.

Pritchard's nowhere to be seen on this remix of Dusky's 'Skin Deep' (it's Middleton flying solo), but it's still an occasion. According to Dusky, 'we knew we wanted someone special and we knew we wanted someone who would get to the heart of the melodies and textures in the breakdown.... Global Communication made perfect sense. Tom has totally delivered, creating something that draws on the heritage of the ambient sound, but also feels current and modern.'

Fresh from his debut long player Natureboy, which Gilles Peterson described as ‚stunning', stand out track ‚Twelve O'Clock Shadow, featuring strings by esteemed West Coast arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, gets an outing on wax.

Pressed on transparent vinyl allowing the artwork to shine amongst the void, ASIP creative talent Nick Brzostowski has turned the artist's vision into a piece of art, with his meticulous custom design.

Brooding, sonically unrepentant and oozing with the kind of stylistic sophistication Stealth is renowned for, this next single on Program sees the welcome return of an underground titan.

Fierce yet technically adept, 'Desert Storm' reintroduces you to a producer who helped to chisel Program's persona. Stealth takes you deep into its composition, amongst falling amen breaks and cleverly distorted bassline, which only adds to the track's moody atmospherics. Through hollowed out horn samples and clucking drum rolls, you're thrown into subterranean riddim of flying beats, underpinned by a sub which ricochets throughout.

Flipside 'The Truth' is fronted by one of the most renowned MC's of the last decades. With Fat's on vocals, you're taken into a vastly different double A, with the MC adding a soulful twist amid piano arpeggio loops, elongated before cascading into the mix. Underpinned by strummed guitar plucks and shivering percussion, it demonstrates Stealth's ability to hone in on his art, presenting two diverse subjects.

Stealth's return will only see momentum grow. With an album looming, expect his catalogue of ruminating dancefloor numbers to expand into the New Year. You know the deal, it's once again...time to get with the Program!

Tommy Guerrero continues to expand his horizons while upholding his San Francisco Bay heritage. Starting from the Bones Brigade skate team in the 80's, he has gone on to make movie appearances, design for Levi's in Japan, Vans shoes worldwide, Sutro eyewear (among others), sign a skateboard contract with Converse, co-found Real Skateboards and 40's Clothing and become art director for Krooked Skateboarding, along with maintaining a prolific recording schedule.

Während "Orbiting" sich auf eine extraterrestische Zukunft konzentrierte, befasst sich Guindo diesmal mit der Zukunft unseres Planeten. Das Konzept einer geordneten Zukunft mit System, ohne Platz für Ausbrecher, taucht im Kopf des Hörers schon beim ersten Hören auf. Als bestes Beispiel dient "Composer", ein Track mit Fließband-Groove. Guindo benutzt im ganzen Album verspielte Electro-Synths (echter Electro, siehe Detroit), die den Hörer in einen Trance-Zustand versetzen, der durch die peitschenden Percussions von Tracks wie "Each Other" (Vorsicht, Dancefloors, Bombenalarm!) gestört wird. Während "Orbiting" sehr durch Guindos Kindheit im XIIIten Bezirk von Paris (Chinatown) mit vielen hohen Gebäuden und schmalen Gassen beeinflusst ist, blickt "CENTRUM" auf die Zeit nach seinem Debut zurück: Viele Gigs in der ganzen Welt verteilt, zum Großteil auf Techno-Parties, auf denen Guindos Bass- und Footwork-Einflüsse wohl meistens zu kurz kamen. Auch das ist hörbar auf der Platte, die sich tatsächlich im Gegensatz zu "Orbiting" von Bass und Footwork wegbewegt - natürlich nicht zu 100%! Aber Ambient und Techno sind die Genres, in dessen Richtung Guindo sich dieses Mal eher orientiert. "CENTRUM" ist keine reine Clubplatte, die von vorn bis hinten mit 'Brettern' vollgestopft ist (obwohl fähige DJs trotzdem viel Stoff finden werden). Fans von "Orbiting" werden in keinem Fall enttäuscht sein von "CENTRUM", einer Platte, die auch Techno-Veteranen imponieren wird.

If you heard Obsidian last year, you already understand. On his sophomore album as Baths, Will Wiesenfeld fully shed of his sonic influences with a staggering work of graveyard beauty. Contrasts to the other artists became null. Giving it a 8.6 'Best New Music,' Pitchfork hailed it as a 'subversive work that gets uncomfortably close to pop, confronting closed minds with what they don't want to believe.'

Always a gifted musician, Baths became a fully conceived artist: a songwriter of uncommon sensitivity, a whimsical and romantic spirit, and a lay-me-gently-down falsetto. Think of his Anticon EP, Ocean Death, as a companion piece—the Dia De Los Muertos to Obsidian's Halloween. It's title and the eponymous opening track existed before a single note of 2010's Cerulean had been recorded. Darker in tone, they were always targeted for a sophomore album, but wound up a different cut of gem.
Ocean Death is the exquisite setting. Just five songs and a shade over 20 minutes, the idea was to avoid over-thinking. Songs were perfected not embellished. The subject matter remains dark-tinted pop. 'Ocean Death' reclines in the aquatic seabed. The lyrics are simple and bleak, but the effect is celestial. The 3 a.m. introspection and heart beat pulse are almost reminiscent of Four Tet or Pantha Du Prince. The pulse is almost minimal techno, but it's suffused with maximalist emotion.
A small part of Ocean Death was recorded in a hotel room in Spain, but it was mostly done at a friend's home in LA, the same place where Obsidian was completed. Both records traverse similar terrain: morbid lyricism, direct vocal melodies, a felicity in subsuming electronic experiments into pop songs. It's about death, apathy, and loneliness. It sounds like a final love letter to a chapter of life that has already ended—and maybe it has. Songs are currently being theorized for a third full-length, and the direction is vastly different.
It's not normally in Baths' nature to rehash old ideas. In a sense, Ocean Death was an experiment to animate these beautiful but discarded fragments. We're lucky they survived. Baths has a rare gift for cloaking melancholy with gorgeous arrangements. The emotions are raw, but the musicianship is refined. Guitars are scraped and processed. Vocals are clipped and layered, drowned and resurrected. But what lingers are the songs themselves; ideas fully formed and immortalized, built to haunt forever.

Die 1981 in Göteborg gegründete Synthie-Pop-Band Twice a Man zählt in Schweden zu den Pionieren der
elektronischen Popmusik. Zu ihren festen Mitgliedern zählten von Anfang an Dan Söderqvist und Karl
Gasleben. 1984 veröffentlichte Twice a Man die LP "From A Northern Stone". Zu dieser Zeit traten sie noch
gemeinsam mit Jocke Söderqvist auf, doch 1986 geriet die Zusammenarbeit ins Stocken. Erst 2014,
anlässlich des 30-jährigen Veröffentlichungsjubiläums von "From A Northern Stone", standen sie wieder zu
dritt auf der Bühne. Sowohl für die Musiker als auch die Fans von Twice a Man waren die Konzerte ein
unvergessliches Erlebnis - die magische Verbundenheit vergangener Zeiten war wieder greifbar.
Zwangsläufig setzte man sich an einen Tisch, um neue Songs zu schreiben. So entstand "Presence". Das
Album enthält neun neue Stücke. Diese reflektieren die globalen Konflikte, welche die Welt aktuell umtreiben
und hinterfragt die Zukunftsfähigkeit der Menschheit. Es sind apokalyptische Zeiten, die dringlich und
verzweifelt nach Lösungen schreien. Doch deshalb in Hoffnungslosigkeit zu verfallen, kommt für die Herren

Next Paragram release is the debut EP from the Romanian based Marcman.

Marcman's tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers including groovy rhythms and big baselines. After his remix on the past release, in his Paragram debut EP he presents himself in all his stylistic bandwidth. 'Dici' combines a super bass pumping tool that make you move even in in the most remote corner of the club, while 'Arficeva' and 'Rigid' gives priority to the hypnotic effect of the groove combined with mighty dub chords.

'Northern Star is fast gaining a reputation as being one of the leading exponents in unleashing new, noise based pop onto an unsuspecting but rapidly increasing audience. Psychedelica 2 is a refreshing listen and the propensity for discovering a host of previously unknown artists is immense.' Drowned In Sound

The origin to the name Oakeater is instructive to the underlying framework for this Chicago outfit. Loosely influenced by Norse Mythology and an industrial shredder' cites Oakeater's Alex Barnett, locating the band as a chimera of loaded allegorical components. Barnett, alongside Seth Sher and Jeremiah Fisher, formed Oakeater in the mid-aughts, recording and performing in fits and starts. The division of labor is rather fluid in the use of re-purposed electronics bolstered by guitars, synths, drum machine, and voice. The compositions evolve out of their greater collectivity and an atmospheric tension made manifest through Oakeater's channelling of dark energy. That metaphysical, nihilistic energy is cathartic in nature, as Fisher explains I induce an anxiety attack within myself and then navigate through it.

The seminal second album from Rene LaVice shows a commitment not only to musical diversity, but also his chartered growth as an artist. One of the most creatively unique journeys that any LP has offered from the Ram Records camp, it pedestals music which has been present throughout sets from the past year. Whether that's been on the stages of Las Vegas' EDC, championed by revered label head Andy C, or at Download Festival, Glastonbury and during support slots for The Prodigy by Rene himself, there are stand out tracks which fans have already been made familiar with on dancefloors across the globe. And the wait for their release has been met with baited breath.

Already hitting airwaves with debut album 'Insidious', which received Radio1 airplay from Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw and Mistajam, the follow up has received support from the likes of Beats1 mogul Zane Lowe and MTV. 'The Calling' found itself nestled on Radio1's daytime playlists, whilst rock-inspired 'Part of Me' was premiered on iTunes biggest streaming platform.

From the slamming 808s of the aptly named 'Fook it', to the indie, vocal lead crescendos of 'Wave', Rene clearly smashes a prototype throughout the LP's entirety. You're also reintroduced to Radio1 A-list record 'The Calling', as well as dancefloor detonator 'Air Force One' and an array of other singles which have set the album's precedent. Plenty of fresh new cuts add to the impressive track listing, with opening track 'Lights Outs' featuring the rasp of David Moombah and clunking reece bass, whilst album closer 'Riot All Right' ends on Rene's own signature voice notes.

Merging together so many stylistic features, taken from an array of influences, this album presents a multi-levelled approach to music making, drawing not just from electronic music but also genres celebrated worldwide. 'Play with Fire' will stand as one of the most pivotal release in not only Rene's discography, but also across drum & bass as a whole... A ground breaking set of records which prove the genre's development, from the jungle breaks of the 90's, to its adaption to the contemporary world.

With each release, Stealth has slowly made his presence known within your musical subconscious. Taking hold of every synapse with drops of LFO induced devastation he's now merged with the other figureheads of a dnb underworld to bring you his 'Alliance EP'. And believe us when we say, this is one not to miss.

Already firmly asserting himself amongst the Program roster, his meticulously crafted cuts have helped push the imprint as an underground tastemaker. And the unstoppable partnership is back, with a gritty and technically adept EP... Proving once again they're a force to be reckoned with.

Rolling up first alongside Stealth is Dirty Hertz, with the two producers proving their flare for contemporary drum and bass. Renowned for their intricately layered composition, 'Revival' is both uncompromising and delicately woven. Vigorously snapping hi-hats help to underpin an aggressive bassline, moving along a construction line gradually being built upon between pounding subs. It's the perfect starter, helping to epitomise the sound Program represents, Aggressive musicality that boasts of ingenuity... the type that often goes unrivalled.

Then we're introduced to Stealth & Xtrah's 'Everytime'. As you'd expect, this track is totally different from its predecessor, although it's just as precisely orchestrated. Pushed forward by domineering drum loops, Stealth's style oozes in between each bar, it's a frequency that drops dangerously low. Wraith-like vocals dip in and out of the record's stockier elements, with a juxtaposition which is tasteful whilst still making an impact.

Stealth and Stylus have already proved their working dynamics result in epic sound clashes and 'Bulgan' is no different. Building with intensity, there's all out anarchy as it dives into a steppy riddim. This is then diced up by randomly ducking, skipping samples and winding breaks. With quickly zipping beats helping to pad out its configuration, there's no mistaking the intricacy between every break. Stealth and Stylus smash it once again and they guarantee something new with every listen.

Lastly, Stealth and Quaed take the stand with 'Passenger'. A demonstration of Stealth's dynamics, the two begin with an intimidating fluctuation of note patterns overlaying a cinematic entrée. Metallic drums pound in between sections, creating a hard-driven melody which pulls you through a sonic-rollercoaster of sound. The perfect way to wrap up four sonic assaults, look no further for tracks to pull you into the season's darker months.

A host of alliances from one of Program's finest Stealth unleashes another defiant slab of bass. It's the lead up to his debut album, a step towards another phenomenal release from the artist.

So once again, it's time to get with the Program... a catalogue that never disappoints.

We first heard Tashi Dorji's name via Ben Chasny's effusive praise. We soon found out what Ben already knew: that Tashi is one of the most creative, singular, and exciting solo guitarists on the scene today. Marisa Anderson is a tremendous inspiration to us at Footfalls Records. Her playing exemplifies the honesty, strength, and innovation we admire in players from John Lee Hooker to Jessie Mae Hemphill to Neil Young.

Die Orakel presents two reinterpretations by Edward of Krautrock excursions - originally recorded by Harmonia and Brian Eno in 1973 and 1976. Harmonia is a Krautrock/Kosmische Musik group from Germany - formed as a collaboration of Michael Rother of Neu!, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Möbius of Cluster 1973. In the same year, the song Sehr Kosmisch' was released on the band's debut album Musik von Harmonia". In September 1976 Brian Eno and Harmonia then collaborated and recorded Atmosphere' at the band's studio in Forst, Germany. However, the song was not released until 1997 as the tape was considered lost for almost twenty years. Who would be more suitable to remix original Krautrock material than Gilles Aiken, better known as Edward Considering his latest productions, Edward mostly works within house and techno templates while echoing Krautrock figures like Connie Plank. He is recognized for producing filigree club tracks that come with a spiritual edge. Over the years, this combination has made him a mainstay of Berlin's White label as well as Weimar's esteemed Giegling crew.

British musician Jo Johnson's debut solo album for Further Records, Weaving, betokens an exciting presence in the world of minimalist composition. 'Ancestral Footsteps' opens the LP with cascades of cyclical harp-like sounds, an homage to one of Johnson's primary inspirations: Alice Coltrane. Channelling rigorous new age and mesmerizing Riley-esque/Reichian minimalism, the piece accrues heft and intensity, with occasional bursts of synthetic, tribal clapping until it fades out with cinematic flourish. The title track gradually alters simple guitar and keyboard phrases, along with a chiming motif that multiplies in a hall of mirrors. The disorientating arpeggios form moiré patterns against colossal bass notes. The mood lightens considerably with 'Words Came After Music,' whose sweeping strings and drones could take you to whatever your idea of heaven is. Interestingly, the title of the piece is inspired by an anthropological theory Johnson stumbled across that musical ability predates language in humans. With its sombre, undulating synths and lustrous highs and lows, 'In the Shadow of The Workhouse' plumbs profound emotional depths. Epic closer 'Silver Threads' starts as an almost silent retreat in the vein of Laurie Spiegel's Appalachian Grove or Eno and Budd's The Pearl with the faint hum and buzz of telegraph wires, until four minutes in a stoic pulse and suspenseful chiming motif arise, buttressed by glowing synth sighs and the LP's only percussive thumps (think Incunabula era Autechre). While inspired by the 'serious music' of Arvo Pärt, Wim Mertens and others, Johnson's mandalas of tone mantras offer a playful, DIY sense of adventure, as you might expect from the former guitarist for incendiary punk group Huggy Bear

Helping listeners to escape reality—which has been known to grate, on occasion—has long been a noble aim of many musicians. One of the most effective ways to do that is to create imaginary soundtracks for impossible science-fiction films, the darker and more un-Hollywood-like, the better. Another method is to take inspiration from great works of architecture—which, as Goethe cogently noted, is frozen music.' The latter route is used by Brooklyn producer Jonas Reinhardt (aka Jesse Reiner) on his sixth album, Palace Savant. Reiner undergoes a profound solo odyssey on this album. Palace Savant may be the most spectacular realization of Jonas Reinhardt's outward-bound sonic aspirations. These eight tracks draw on 14th-century architect Peter Parler's breath-taking St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. St. Vitus is a statement to the future by the rulers at the time,' Reiner says. It's surreal, grandiose, psychedelic—and the sheer scale of human ambition involved is almost beyond comprehension.' Parler reportedly deviated from the cathedral's initial blueprint and elevated the Gothic style to heretofore unimagined, bizarre levels. With Palace Savant, Reiner projected Parler's handiwork to Thomas Edison's era of electricity. I envisioned (Parler) retrofitting his cathedral with excesses of incandescent light, preparing for a coming age of electronics. Palace Savant is what a contemporary electronic performance in that space might sound like.' Recorded on tour and in New York over the course of a year and mixed at Transmitter Park Studio in Greenpoint, Palace Savant begins with the instant attention-grabber/pulse-accelerator Old Kaizen.'
