Fans worldwide were delighted last week when, on March 7th, Skrillex delivered to them a mysterious app featuring a countdown clock and a retro alien game. Beginning on the eve of March 10th, tracks began to mysteriously unlock every thirty minutes to reveal a new full-length album by the six-time Grammy winning artist. The full album is streaming on via the app and through various media partners around the globe on March 18th.

Russian hell raisers repping with raw clarity: few acts have shown such broad skills as Teddy Killerz. Since emerging two years ago, they've worked with some of the biggest names across D&B, glitch, trap, dubstep and beyond. Tempo Records is proud to announce & release three brand new tracks by Pete Parsons aka Voyager. Pete is known for his engineering work and various productions for cult labels such as Lucky Spin and DeeJay Recordings. Pete also released an album on Belgium's R&S label wich included a certain single called ''Hypersleep'', this classic track from the ''golden era'' is nowadays still considered as one of Drum and Bass defining musical moments. More classic releases followed on LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records label and Dj Fabio's Creative Source label.


Tempo Records picked three of Pete's latest releases, and since it's hard to describe them here's Pete's own words: ''All 3 of these tracks where written after I lost my dad earlier in 2013. ''F.A.Q'' is about a sense of wonderment, and inspired by a documentary I saw on some deep research on the origin of DNA, we all ask ourselves questions at some point, hence the, ''Who are we, where do we come from'' samples. ''LuvBLoved'' is a very special track for me, as it was the first thing I did after returning home after spending the last few months with my dad. The title was borrowed from an old Frank Sinatra song, which dad used at the end of something he wrote to me, which was: ''One of the most important things in life, is to love and be loved''. ''Big Picture'' can best be described as orchestral/cinematic melancholia''.


This release comes as a limited 140 gramms clear vinyl pressing, including a mp3 download voucher and full artwork sleeve, all tracks mastered by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis, London. Highly recommended.

DLR has proved undoubtedly one of the stronger forces to emerge onto the D&B scene and onto the Dispatch imprint since last year entirely in his own right as a solo artist; we hereby proudly present you with his next single. As a prelude to DLR's own solo forthcoming Dispatch album, we welcome two killer tracks as part of this single. Led by a collab of colossal proportions, via a link up with Dutch wizard Nymfo and the groove masters Need For Mirrors + HLZ, their individual talents
combine to form "Totem". This is backed by a solo track from DLR "Novate', an all-out homage to a late 90's tech sound of old that's still clearly loved by many.

'For years the comparisons between Swindle and Joker have been highlighted, and people always asked about a collaboration record. I wanted it to happen one day, but in the best way possible. When putting the line up together for our 3rd Birthday party we planted the seed uniting these artists for the first time live as the back to back headline set. Before the show, Swindle took the 040 National Express to Bristol and put together the intro track for the set later that night 'Let It Be Known'. Just as they started Skepta and JME turned up and jumped on the mic, and together they produced one of the greatest sets I have ever seen. Over 100,000 plays on the set later, the club that it took place in closing, and Swindle and Joker continuing their worldwide rampage, it is finally time to share Let It Be Known and Minors. This March will see the release of 'Fringe In The Box #1', a project born out of the Fringe stage at Torino's Jazz Festival. The first in a series of vinyl releases sees input from Hugo, TBoy, Andrea Ferlin and
Brandumize featured.

The people behind the project tell us FRINGE is 'Fringe In The Box is the newest feature of the 2013 Torino Jazz Festival. The Box is curated by the musicians, producers and Turin-based DJ's, Ugo Basile and Francesco Pistoi in conjunction with the artistic curator of FRINGE Furio di Castri, the concept stems from the desire to chart a new path of interaction and exchange between the world of jazz and that of electronic music'. The pieces featured on this record are produced using samples of the live instrumental recordings made by renowned jazz musicians in Turin, which is at the heart of the project. These recordings were then sent to the aforementioned producers who then created the resultant intriguing material by deconstructing, modifying and reassembling the pieces.

Opening the 'Fringe In The Box #1' is the heart-wrenching ambient soundscapes of 'Take 1' by Brandumize, who skillfully blends soft, cosseting pads with glitching electronic noises and rumbling sub bass. While shimmering sax licks subtly flutter around the foundations, and lo-fi broken rhythms instill a further intelligent and forward thinking appeal to the composition. Following we have Trapez / Contexterrior artist, Andrea Ferlin's 'Take 2', as expected from such a proficient and talented producer, Ferlin delivers a raw stripped-back workout fuelled by organic Tabla rhythms, bulbous sub-bass tones, and modulating synthesized atmospherics. Again creating something refreshing to listen to and sparklingly unique as the record gradually unfolds over nine minutes brilliantly.

Then we have Hugo's 'Take 3' on the B-Side, which steps things up a notch with a more upfront feel, bringing rolling organic percussion to the forefront alongside funk guitar licks, dubby echoes, improv saxophone recordings and sweeping synth chords. Giving off an almost dissonant vibe yet so intricately constructed to do so that it again makes for an undeniably invigorating listen. And last up to close the record is TBoy's 'Take 4', the Hot Waves producer puts his contemporary spin on things by cleverly chopping up finite snippets of the recordings and remodeling the chops into a modern, low-slung house number embodying a raw beauty, yet maintaining a rugged dance floor appeal.

Fontarrian's debut effort for Berlin-based label ANTIME offers a glimpse into a fragile yet eclectic spectrum consisting of loopy vocal bits, slowly unwinding washes of dream-like ambience, distinctively (s)tumbling almost jazzy percussions and an ever-present, blissful warmth. The latter emanates from and sucks you into what seems to be a world of its own. Like a lo-fi attempt at capturing momentary twists of the heart through 10 significantly diverse tracks - imperfect nonetheless - the album feels like a mixtape you've set out to record for someone special, but somehow never got around to.

Dutch drum & bass imprint Citrus Recordings has been renowned for kick starting the careers of numerous acts in the present day drum & bass scene. After releasing their last LP early 2013 they now push forward an Australian/German combo better known as Rregula & Dementia!

The full project will be released on two 12'' pieces of wax and a CD. The first 12'' contains ''Doom Loop'' by Rregula, Dementia & Disphonia and ''Melt'' featuring MC Kryptomedic. Hard hitting drum & bass, the boys prove they know how to lay down some serious neuro pressure.

Dresden (Germany) based producer Noize Creator got inspired by the recent Juke and Footwork movement and is exploring his own interpretations as The Duke of Juke. With this first release on ANUS Records, he shows his variety of musical knowledge fitting the labels philosophy - be odd, be future, be not too serious.

The Hard Way are a full live band these days and we wrote the album with that being our main focus. An album to rock out live with but also divers enough to just listen to from a to z...

Mark Barrott's forthcoming album 'Sketches from an Island' compresses the Balearic heartbeat into nine warm gems, which paint a picture of the island, the people and the magnetic beauty that pulses through it. Recorded in Ibiza's northern hills using 'weird percussion, some slide guitars and a few borrowed synths,' it's a melodic and mysterious representation of a place steeped in a rich and rebellious history. Ahead of the album release in June, comes the second teaser EP package 'Sketches from an Island 2'.

Over the past year as Peder Mannerfelt has shed the skin of The Subliminal Kid, we've only had small samples to taste of his new brand of musical sorcery. 'Lines Describing Circles' changes
all of that. Ten tracks deep, this is not so much an album as it is a declaration. From the opening, harrowing crackle of 'Collapsion,' Mannerfelt's intent is to crush the listener into a perfect, metal cube.'Lines Describing Circles' displays the sound of a man fully in control of his machines. Throughout the album, though, there are respites: the title track settles into a hypnotic groove while a simple, infectious melody repeating into darkness, while 'In Place Of Once Was' has a melody lurking, too, but it's constantly overwhelmed by sub-bass nihilism. 'Gulo Gulo Caesitas' is the pinnacle of the firestorm: cacophonous beats pummel you into submission while feedback and seemingly endless layers of aural mayhem pour down like sonic acid rain.As the computerised voice repeats 'Barren' over and over on 'Evening Redness In The West' there is no horizon left to long for. Peder Mannerfelt's transformation complete, he is off to find new trails to blaze as the melancholic pads of 'Rotterdam Anagram' are obscured by distorted filth.

Checking One - Future proofed Tech-Jungle beat droplets fight their way through a corridor of synths. Vocal stabs drift from locked rooms each containing their own distinctive drum pattern. Half way through the track salvation is reached, doors open and all the components meet with a realisation that dark may lead to light, part Soul, part nervous, part shrouded horror entity.
In 1996 Drum and Bass label Liss Fuzion put out its final release Your Move by owner and producer Pager B-TZ. Taking inspiration from this little heard classic hardware have re-worked and re-chopped. With Your Move they soften all the edges of the jittery beats and use drum and bass sounds that float in and out. Your move feels re-assuring, filtered and like a memory of that track, that stayed in the back of your head for weeks but you could never recall where you heard it.
In 2014 the label will release an app including exclusive material from forthcoming music from 'hardware' also an album due in June 2013.

hristelle Gualdi's second vinyl release as Stellar Om Source from 2011. The LP compiles little masterpieces from the same time period when her acclaimed "Trilogy Tapes" collection was released. With influences ranging from new age to experimental electronic music Christelle creates a wonderful and carefully layered album. 

Jimi Tenor and Nicole Willis´ sublime Herakles label returns with 'Haunted by Hallucinations' , the new Bandproject from Petri Tokkannenm mastermind of the fabolous finish 'Soul Investigators' group. Guitarist Petri Toikkanen, who graces the liner notes of nearly all the Soul Investigators ("Home Cooking", 'Keep Reachin' Up") releases, as one of the formidable composers of the musical group, makes the debut on this self titled new band´s album. The group was founded by Toikkanen and drummer Laura Könönen as they composed their songs through hypnotic jam sessions, with bass player, Jussi Oskari. Jussi Oskari is best known for his contribution to the project, Tuvalu, a progressive rock ensemble. The genre that sets the tone for Haunted by Hallucinations is the psychedelic cousin to that of post metal and post rock/doom. Toikkanen cites Pink Floyd, Venom, Uriah Heep, and Dio as his childhood staples. While direct influences are denied, Haunted By Hallucinations might sit well next to Earth and Goblin. That the phasers and flangers of stoner doom would be replaced with heavy doses of delay on Toikkanen's personal genre of neo - psychedelia. Toikkanen's playing has textures of surf, harking the legend of surf, Dick Dale, together with a prototype of Rock & Roll. Toikkanen's main instrument is a Fender Jazzmaster. Oskari also plays Moog Taurus bass pedal synthesizer. Laura Könönen is also a visual artist, whose main medium is sculpture, has supplied the LP cover artwork with one of her paintings and drawings. The album is produced by Jimi Tenor & Nicole Willis.

With only one release to her name so far, the excellent 'Orz' tape for the Reckno label, plus a regular show on NTS, the artist who may or not be a pseudonym for visual designer Jason Kerley returns here with her first release pressed to wax, a 30-minute odyssey that glides into the hardcore continuum and re-shapes various forms and formulations of electronic music along the way. 'sssssssss' is a 30 minute trip split into two continuous sides that run like a mixtape, coming to life on the frazzled low-end modulation 'Fingerbang', through the fractured, minimized UKG overhaul 'Swoon', the delicate, micrsocopic electronics of 'Sex Smell' and the growling mentasm Grime of 'No Liquid'. We can't think of many records we've had through our doors that borrow as much from the UK techno/Artificial Inteligence espoused by the likes of early 90's labels such as Likemind as they do from the frequency fuckery of Evol and Playstation engineered Grime and Garage - but Skyler manages it effortlessly. The standout moment of the album comes with 'Langwellig', conjuring the spirit of early rave with the barest ingredients, lost in a haze of ferric smoke that feeds into the next transition on this forever-shifting trip...

Following on from a couple of strong releases as part of his Lumisokea duo for Opal Tapes, Koenraad Ecker returns with his most intriguing release to date, the first Digitalis' release for 2014.Straddling the line between analog electronics, darkened ambience and slow Techno, Koenraad Ecker recalls the colossal drone-noise of Mika Vainio and the sharpened bass frequencies of oachim Nordwall, albeit shot-from-the-hip in a manner befitting his connection with Opal Tapes.Fourteen minute opener 'Oran' is a sprawling and resolute, spread across two parts that display Ecker's compositional chops through an impressive mix of blacked-out electronics and horrorfilled cello passages. Inside long, drawn out sequences, Ecker avoids repetition and beats down a tonal path where the structure of each piece is dynamic yet cohesive. Sparse beats end up in a death spiral, competing with Ecker's cello and bleak electronics that fill the empty spaces. Like the slow burn of a lit fuse, 'One-Eye' crawls through layers of decay before exploding midway through into incalculable chaos. Square waves blot out difficult melodies only to suddenly disappear like a corroded hallucination while white noise builds from short crackles into cavernous rhythms...

Valcrond Video presents the next work by sound and image artist Luke Wyatt, ""Songs From Bad Kid School"". On a high desert plain, inside a cinder block compound, a prank squad is incarcerated. Between fiddling with ninja stars and leafing through back issues of Fangoria, they find time to scrape out the soundtrack of their escape. On the first track, heatsick guitars and steel wool beats suggest a landscape strewn with abandoned car carcasses, old Camaros left for dead in the sun, used for shotgun practice. The B-side leads off with the beat-less, articulated sprawl of ""Saline Flats"". Here is the story of a desert search for water: figures warping mirage-like on the horizon as they make a confused journey over dunes, ending with a cathartic drone that suggests the mirages resolving into a real oasis. Though it is just as likely that the bad kids have expired from thirst, and ascended to the sublime."

"Losers Can Win" is the first EP from electro-pop superband Starwalker, comprised of Frenchman Jean-Benoit Dunckel (AIR) and Icelandic composer Bardi Johannsson (Bang Gang). Starwalker is a brand new collaboration between two electro-pop icons: Jean-Benoit Dunckel (Air) and Icelandic composer Bardi Johannsson (Bang Gang, Lady & Bird). The title Starwalker - suitably spatial and curious - is an umbrella term for the duo's new works together. Included in this blossoming canon is the debut EP including singles 'Bad Weather' and 'Losers Can Win', a celestial song featuring the vocals of Keren Ann. The Starwalker project is in part inspired by both the unpredictable nature of Iceland and the clean, classic design of France, and the result pulls you in with its intensity. That is not to say the duo lack a lightness of touch or a sense of humour, however. Starwalker first video - a short visual introduction to the general mood of the project - came out in summer 2013, and their debut single 'Bad Weather', accompanied by a darkly evocative video (directed by Saevar Gudmundsson and Jeaneen Lund) was released in last September. 'Leave This Island' surges with a drumbeat and ripple of keyboards harnessed with Paul Smith's vocal, before cascading into a sweep of uplifting emotion: a band on top of their game. Recorded in Sunderland with the band's keyboardist Lukas Wooller and Field Music's Brewis brothers - David and Peter, at the helm, 'Leave This Island' 12" comes complete with exclusive B-side 'A Vague Implication', a remix of 'Leave This Island' courtesy of Mogwai and a mix of 'Brain Cells' from the hand of Dave Okumu.

The VIP series on Butterz is all about the artist taking two of their popular tracks and exploring the ideas further than the original versions. On the first edition Swindle took 'Mood Swings' and turned it into a 9 min epic, which was only available in a small run of 200 copies, likewise with Terror Danjah's edition, he revisited 'Morph' and combined it with P Jam's classic 'Anger Management'. For Flava D's edition she reworked Home and Hold On from her first outing earlier this year on Butterz (BR012) at the Red Bull Studios in London alongside the Butterz crew this summer. 'Hold On' takes an aggressive turn with P Jam throwing down the breaks, and Royal-T joining in lending a hand with the bass in his first appearance on the label in over two years. Flava's new take on 'Home' which was originally written in 2011 showcases how much she has developed since joining the Butterz stable late last year. Made with the whole crew in the room you can get a sense of a willingness to wow the room, especially in the second half, where it takes a darker turn. This marks the start of a slew of releases from Flava D and the rest of the Buttterz camp to close 2013 following their announcement of their new residency at Fabric.

Dutch producer Fre4knc returns to Samurai Music to follow up on his successful 2013 release. The powerful style of 'Tubular' is
updated for 2013 and turned it into another dancefloor meteor with 'Tellurian' which lays the gauntlet down once again for sheer
weight. 'The Source' pays tribute to years gone by with precision editing, but as per other Fre4knc tunes, it sounds like no one else.

Finders Kreepers continue their 7 series of vintage macabre film music with a volume dedicated to European vampire cinema with the two most notorious exponents of the horrotica genre at the helm. Although often put on the same platform the films of these two self-sufficient European filmmakers are in fact very different from each others celebrated efforts, having collaborated on just one occasion with Rollin directing a short dream sequence for Franco's film Virgin Amongst The Living Dead (complete with its pulsating Bruno Nicolai score).
On the a-side of this installment we witness Franco and Nicolai back together for one of a handful of titles including the earliest appearances of the legendary Soledad Miranda. Completed in 1970, Il Conte Dracula brings together an unlikely cast of Miranda, Christopher Lee (in his archetypal role) and Klaus Kinski as a fly eating psychiatric patient made nine years before he would assume the role of the bloodsucking monarch for Herzog's Nosferatu. Musically this feature bequeaths a lesser spotted score from Morricone's arranger and sidekick Bruno Nicolai made in the same period as his delectable scores for Sergio Martino's All The Colours Of The Dark and Case Of The Scorpions Tale as well as Franco's very own Marquis De Sade 70 adaptation (FKR069). This timeless biting harpsichord score blends relentless orchestral pulses revealing Nicolai at his thematic and communicative best - laying a stylistic blueprint for other European vampire scores like Francois De Roubaix Les lèvres rouges and James Kenhelm Clarke's Vampyres.
On the b-side our alternative programme reveals another undetected Jean Rollin nugget from his very first cinematic feature, the two part bloodthirsty melodrama Viol De Vampire. Edited in accordance with soundman Jean Denis Bonan's original cinematic usage this swooping dreamscape theme falls somewhere between Theremin and bowed saw and stands up as one of the most beguiling French library cuts by Parisian mastermind Roger Roger - appropriated alongside other pre-licensed mood music cues for the first chapter of the director's theatrical debut. Fans of cult British TV series The Prisoner might also recognise the theme due to its synchronisation in two episodes of the original 1960s series. Suitably complimenting the forthcoming Cacophonic release of Francois Tusques' recently recovered studio scores made for the second chapter of the same feature (8CACKkLP) this standalone b-side provides yet another piece to Rollins vibrant picture puzzle

Boomkat wrote about Addison Groove's debut album "Transistor Rhythm" from March 2012: "Addison Groove, drawing on juke, electro, dubstep, ghetto-house and jeep-rocking hip-hop variants to create super-heavy bass music, leaves you with no alternative but to dance and/or bite your lower lip raw."

The dancing and lip biting parts still count for his follow up "James Grieve", but the influences and music genres have slightly changed. There's a strong jungle influence present from beginning to end. "James Grieve" is also less raw and jackin' than the predecessor and seamlessly combines spacious, laid back and more rollin' tracks with a bunch of straight forward club bangers.

While "Transistor Rhythm" was definitely Chicago inspired, "James Grieve" is pure Bristol through-and-through.

Stricken of samples, loops and other tools typified in present day dance track crafting and screen mapping, 'So What' is 'organic music for the modern dance floor.' Berko and Gluibizzi depend on real humans - friends and fellow musicians - to originate proper live studio room works / workouts that breathe, smoke, snort and contort to the body clock's unpredictable rhythm.

'So What' revels in this communal groove. The minor chord shuffle and percussion pump along rough n' ready riffs rocketing from saxophone and guitars alike, each element stuffed in-the-pocket by a disco-indebted bassline. The spit-soaked vocals of Christopher Exits strut 'So What' from the sweaty depths of a Brooklyn studio and onto the laser lit floor of a legendary night club in NYC's disco party pioneers' collective memory (or to the b-side of a Some Girls-era Stones single). Exits' lyrics examine a narcotic urban co-dependence from the advantage of a man lost in his own sort of space, an experience we can all identify with or at least dream to believe still happens as cities sterilize.

On the flipside, Tiago touches 'So What's' humanity with acid reflex and a heavy-hitting kick over two strobe-ready remixes.
Tiago's first mix dune buggies the original's riffs into sparse terrains before introducing a rich, reverbed Rhodes melody to bring us back home. His Dub embraces the house tendencies of Tiago with a little more pep in its step. The icy colourations of the original track form a slippery but solid glacial floor, while the hand-held rhythms mutate between alien and human pulses.

Tongues of Fire are a riot of reeds, brass and percussion, making a 'joyful noise' for dreaming, dancing and celebration. This unique band summon up free jazz sprits, laying down powerful acoustic grooves, performing beautiful versions of English traditional music and drawing on street band sounds.The band is led by saxophonist Tim Hill, who combines his love of Ornette Coleman and improvisation with on-going research into outdoor music and street band traditions.
Tim is especially fascinated by our love of noise and how it's used in celebration. Playing in the heart of strange theatrical beasts, surrounded by fire or accompanying aerialists and giant puppets, Tongues of Fire often perform outdoors in theatre shows and landscape celebrations. The band have worked with the Galway theatre company Macnas and put on shows in a huge variety of
settings, from festivals like Salisbury Festival, Durham Brass Festival and WOMAD, events for Cirque Bijou and Oxford Story
Museum, in spaces like The Barbican and for Oxford Contemporary Music.

New Moon Recordings' cornerstone artist Hatti Vatti is set to release his long-awaited debut album, entitled Worship Nothing, on 3
February 2014.
Having released a string of 12"s since 2009, Hatti Vatti's sound has previously flowed seamlessly between deep dubstep and a
minimal, Autonomic sound. Releases for Mindset, New Moon, On The Edge, and Absys have marked this Polish producer apart for
his cinematic take on bass-driven, dub-rooted electronic music.

techno for Nowe Nagrania.

and deeply intimate. A futuristic sheen of 80's nostalgia penetrates much of Worship Nothing, even within the familiar restrained dub
of "Struggle" (with Polish vocalist Sara Brylewska) and "Wonderful World" (with Irish vocalist Cian Finn). The organic synths remain In
"Treasure" and "72 Dub", though the rhythms become decidedly more manic, hinting towards the feverish feel of footwork while
remaining decidedly introspective.
Floating, haunted vocals pervade the half-step of "Tokyo" a shimmering collaboration with Manchester producer Synkro. Also
hovering around the minimal 170bpm sound are "Synthesis"
and "Black Flowers", which features vocals from Lady Katee.
Slowing down to a garage-tinted swing, "Nights" is yet another collaboration with a UK artist - Versa.

Jimi Tenor and Nicole Willis´ sublime Herakles label returns with 'Haunted by Hallucinations' , the new Bandproject from Petri Tokkannenm mastermind of the fabolous finish 'Soul Investigators' group. Guitarist Petri Toikkanen, who graces the liner notes of nearly all the Soul Investigators ("Home Cooking", 'Keep Reachin' Up") releases, as one of the formidable composers of the musical group, makes the debut on this self titled new band´s album. The group was founded by Toikkanen and drummer Laura Könönen as they composed their songs through hypnotic jam sessions, with bass player, Jussi Oskari. Jussi Oskari is best known for his contribution to the project, Tuvalu, a progressive rock ensemble. The genre that sets the tone for Haunted by Hallucinations is the psychedelic cousin to that of post metal and post rock/doom. Toikkanen cites Pink Floyd, Venom, Uriah Heep, and Dio as his childhood staples. While direct influences are denied, Haunted By Hallucinations might sit well next to Earth and Goblin. That the phasers and flangers of stoner doom would be replaced with heavy doses of delay on Toikkanen's personal genre of neo - psychedelia. Toikkanen's playing has textures of surf, harking the legend of surf, Dick Dale, together with a prototype of Rock & Roll. Toikkanen's main instrument is a Fender Jazzmaster. Oskari also plays Moog Taurus bass pedal synthesizer. Laura Könönen is also a visual artist, whose main medium is sculpture, has supplied the LP cover artwork with one of her paintings and drawings. The album is produced by Jimi Tenor & Nicole Willis.

Few acts showcase drum & bass's exciting creative scope with the same skillish vibrancy as June Miller.

Since signing to Ram Records a year ago, the Dutch/Anglo duo have locked themselves away in their Utrecht HQ working on a series of mindblowing creations. Deep in sonic solitude, they've pushed themselves to whole new levels... As proved by the stunning 'Empathy' and 'Operation Ivy'. Both pivotal tracks on Andy C's explosively extensive 'Nightlife 6' opus, these cuts represent June Miller's chiselled production skills like never before.

We kick off with 'Empathy'. Igniting with a surging sense of soul, the unity of timeless synths and spellbinding vocals set a smouldering scene that's suddenly shattered into gnarled fragments when the drop lands. An overwhelming bass riff scuffs across the blistering breakbeats to create a thunderous groove. Instant riot material, this has been tried and tested by Andy C since the summer, each airing causing unparalleled commotion in its wake.

'Misery Is A Communicable Disease' serves as a euphoric opener, primed for moments of escapism on or off the dancefloor with resonant hats and an exultant synth line laid bare upon a bed of gauzy pads and valve-warmed kicks. VMI is a different beast altogether, channeling the visceral spirit of minimal wave and punk aesthetic to create a sordid call to arms before the frenzied acid and lingering menace of 'Not For Design' closes the record in typically deranged fashion.

Wilkinson, the hottest D&B producer to emerge from UK scene in 2013, today announces Too Close ft Detour City, the next single to be taken from the album Lazers Not Included. The single follows the Top 10 smash Afterglow, the biggest D&B breakthrough tune of the year which has now sold over 150,000 copies in the UK alone and spent 5 weeks inside the top 20. Too Close, with it's intricate dub break, showcases Tabitha Benjamin's, aka Detour City vocals, and is sure to be another cross-over hit for Wilkinson. Indeed, when the great book of Dub music is written the names Scott Monteith and Paul St Hilaire will undoubtedly figure highly in its chapters devoted to recent years. Monteith, the last great prodigal son of the doctrine handed down from the Blue Mount of Lord Scratch and King Tubby, St Hilaire the undisputed voice of a generation, those fanatical warrior monks, followers of the most Holy House of Ernestus and Von Oswald incarnate.

Having developed a fast friendship from their very first meeting in Montreal at the premier Micro Mutek event a decade ago, Deadbeat and Tikiman's occasional collaborative performances have since blown the minds of audiences from Berlin to Tokyo and many points in between. No great surprise then that their first album length venture is a Tour de Force of Dub music of the highest order.

Nearly a year in the making, the genetic code of Deadbeat's Infinity Dubs series gets shot through with a Dreader than Dread Kingstonian logic, hi hats dropping back from the three to the one, Tikiman at his most militant, poetic, fierce, and flowing. These are the recordings of two lions uncaged, and none who bare witness shall escape their fiery judgement.

If music is truly eternal, here be two voices which shall echo in infinity with all the weight, reverence, and dire power unleashed with every tectonic bass hit, and every whimsical turn of phrase. And if these eight burnt offerings are any indication of what happens when these two sit down for a session of smoke and reasoning, here's hoping they choose to do it frequently. Dub without end. Music from the documentary "I Dream Of Wires" f/several large-format modulars as well as his own Eurorack system. It doesn't revel in classicist synthpop motifs or vocoder-pop of recent years but focusses on making strange sounds sing.

Since we've released the album by Atiq & EnK 'Fear Of The Unknown' last year on 2x12inch we have been playing with the idea to do something special with the music. It became an entire new album which is called 'Embracing The Unknown' and we are releasing it in a special Digipack cd case and digitally online. The album contains 16 tracks (20 tracks Digitally) and will be released on the 24th of February through our distribution partner Triple Vision. Some artists which collaborated on this release are Roel Funcken (Funckarma), Dutch electronica favourite Julien Mier, Semiomime aka DJ Hidden, and Drum and bass extremists Sinister Souls just to name a few! Also Lowriders own EVS and fellow Rotterdam junglist Deformer delivered their vision on Atiq & EnK's album. Another great fact about one of the remixes is that Atiq remixed one of his own tracks 'Moonlit Tea Party' for this release which came out rather different than his former collaboration with EnK. And did you know that the album ended up on several 'Top albums of 2013' lists Such as the one for Igloomag All in all this release is a rather special collection of tracks and really adds something special to the already great album pushing the boundaries and taking the tracks into new unexplored dimensions of sonic realities.

Davis's previous releases under his own name and and as The 8-Bit Construction Set appeared on Beige Records, Matthew Herbert's Soundslike label, and the Sonic Arts Network.

Plasma Audio mark the first step in their record label's life with a huge remix of Safire & Amoss' track '4th State feat Gusto', from the Dutch production lord, Icicle, of Shogun Audio fame. With its four furious minutes having been spoken for, the focus shifts to '2012' and 'Chavland,' the two less crushing than '4th State' but compelling on their own terms. With a distorted, grime-soaked vocal growl in tow, '2012' digs into its trippy glitchtronic vibe and future-funk groove with serious headnodding purpose, before 'Chavland' rolls out a muscular, high-velocity neurofunk pulse to re-establish the release's drum'n'bass character.

Dub Matrix With Stereo Sound is the culmination of years spent refining the art of handheld gaming console-based riddim construction, using the LSDJ tracker cartridge and disrupt's beloved Gamebwoy - especially modded up for maximum bass weight. Featuring nine crisp cuts - each built strictly on the Gamebwoy before being dubbed out with disrupt's superbly pimped up Korg Monotron Delay and mixed to cassette - this mini LP is not a joke ting. Heavily road-tested on Europe's biggest soundsystems (used as interludes during disrupt's live sets), these dark and deadly riddims have been scientifically proven to mash up the dance. For Samuel Evans, or Rain Dog, creating this album was a vast experiment to combine different attempts of blending more traditional elements of song writing and composition with the more contemporary influences of modern electronic dance and bass music, all within the confines of his computer and chair...
Being compelled by melody and variation, Rain Dog, by his own admission, never had much talent for songwriting in terms of lyrics. To circumvent this, however, he focuses on creating a narrative within the music through the combination of synth work and samples. He starts with anything that sparks an interest or emotion in him - Tom Waits, Joni Mitchel, Ella Fitzgerald, Portico Quartet and moments from movies, samples like these usually work as a foundation for the tracks. He then adds layers of unique and organic synth sounds (a notion he finds quite interesting when working entirely from a digital platform) before eventually completing the production with the beat.

The next release on Tempa is a three-track affair from Boston-based producer AxH. Having grown up on hip-hop and jungle, in recent years AxH has steadily been gathering attention for his low-slung, rolling takes on dubstep and cryptic ear for melody. His tracks have become regulars in the radio shows and record bags of scene luminaries such as Youngsta and J:Kenzo,and the Destroy12" marks his debut release for Tempa.
In line with the resurgence in foundational dubstep aesthetics, AxH's take on the genre iss tark and stripped back to basics yet brimming with subtle detail, and the three tracks on his Tempa 12" (plus one digital-only exclusive) showcase various sides of his sound. In his hands, sub-bass and drums are malleable as putty, assembled with an organic and hands-on sensibility into tracks whose grooves are enigmatic yet involving.Lead track 'Destroy' matches its name, lumbering from speaker stacks in abarrage of crumpling percussion, shuddering the space around it as it goes,while 'Everdine' is atmospheric, cinematic halfstep that plumbs sinister psychic depths. 'Giant Footprints' is remarkable: machinic and robotic in tone,its percussion is as hard yet flexible as tensile steel, lashing out against pinprick melody lines.
