Adam Jackson AKA Kidkut has played a major part in Bristol's music scene over recent years with his Immerse label releasing consistently outstanding music from the likes of Kontext, Benga, & Late to name but a few. Now Jackson is teaming up with leading imprint Apple Pips for the release of his own much awaited debut single. Apple Pips is the brainchild of Laurie Osborne AKA Appleblim who has made the label one of the most desirable dubstep/electronica imprints out there featuring music from Martyn, Ramadanman, Brackles, Instra:mental & more. Kidkut's single kicks off with the pointedly titled 'ILove04', a percussive roller that combines elements of broken beat, UK Funky, & early dubstep, with snippets of garage vocals and intense twisted bass. Don Carlos (born Euvin Spencer) Legendary Reggae Artist - Born and raised in Western Kingston, Jamaica, in a district notoriously known as Waterhouse, which incidentally is also a musical spawning ground for many of Reggae's greatest ever talents, such as King Tubby, original member of Black Uhuru, The Jays, Junior Reid and King Jammy to name but a few, Don Carlos started his singing career back in 1973, as one of the original members of the aforementioned roots vocal group Black Uhuru. Don played a prominent role in the recordings of the highly acclaimed Love Crisis (Black Sounds of Freedom) album, for producer Prince Jammy in 1977. Don reached the peak of his solo career during the heydays of the eighties Dancehall mania thus celebrating his impact with five top ten hits between 1982 - 1985, reggae hit such as 'Late Night Blues', 'Dice Cup', 'Hog & Goat', 'I'm Not Getting Crazy', 'Laser Beam', 'Young Girl' and 'Favorite Cup' are forever hailed as CLASSICS! Lifestyle Recordings is a young label based in South West London who have been turning heads with their fresh outlook on the Drum and Bass scene. For the third release they've commissioned a remix from Survival who has been in the game since day one. MJ Cole is back!! Matt Cole teams up with UK don Wiley to end the summer season in style. While he never lost his touch with underground British club music MJ Cole's releases on his own label, Prolific, including the recent Riddim EP, remixes for Mad Decent, Primary 1, Drop The Lime, etc and his production work with Wiley and Example among others show a man deeply committed to the search for emotive, smart and brave club music. Wiley needs no introduction as one of the major players in the UK hip-hop, grime and UK garage scene. Founding member of the Roll Deep Crew alongside Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Strider, Wiley was also responsible for the hit record 'Wearing my rolex' in 2008.

Exit Records Presents 'Mosaic Vol 1' Sampler 1. With so much good music arriving in the Exit inbox it was decided that a various artist project was needed to ensure that it all sees the light of day and doesn't get caught up in a never ending schedule of singles. This album truly represents the more experimental side of Drum and Bass as opposed to the crash bang wollop which seems to be the only side of Drum and Bass portrayed by the mainstream media today. Hopefully this album will manage to reach the people that thought this forward thinking music was left behind in the nineties and let them know that it's still alive and well and still capable of throwing up some surprising and unpredictable results.

A co-production with Benga - the brilliantly sparse, bleepy 'Green Eyes' - is going to grab people's attention, but the
other three tracks here are easily as good. Sarah "Goldielocks" Akwisombe makes outstanding modernist electro-pop with dark,
emotionally intense lyrical themes and a hefty DJ-friendly dubstep wallop, and is without question a talent who is here to stay. The EP
is overall inspired by London, underground music scenes - 2step / garage / grime and dubstep, paranoia, relationships and
concealed emotions.

The second release on Oneman's 502 Recordings will be from French producer Jay Weed. The Lyon-based producer who also has a 12~ waiting to be put out by Grizzly, the label Sinden founded. "Cartagenera". In his 8 minute plus version, Ray Mang extends the track to a spiritual, deep journey, that breathes the spirit of Balearic in a 21st century shape. If clubs like Baia
D'Angeli, the mothershipof Cosmic Disco, would still be running today, the Ray Mang remix of "Cartagenera" would be a current peak time tune.

With a discography reading like a handbook for the rum and uncanny, electronica mainstay Kelpe is an obvious graduate to the Team Acre associated university of drum wrong and Mutant Fuzz. Here teaming up with multi talented human rhythm machine Chris Walmsley (Voice of The Seven Woods, Broadcast, Psapp etc) Kelpe brings an EP that balances deftly between the sound of yesterday and tomorrow. Margins is a wriggling slice traditional drum funk. The steady gallop is haunted by holy ghost rousing keys, zap anomalies and unearthly guitar work. No Film is a moody and low-slung drum excursion. Intricate rhythms provide the solid foundation for unsettling synth-work and fragmented stabs of citric sound. Toy Castle is pure bounce, the pounding kicks push the soundscape through the dance which the sonic scenery is littered with hidden artifacts. The final excursion here it a trip to the lab with Taps On. Initially the most soothing of the bunch giving nods to Dilla or ATCQ more soulful offerings.
Taps On continues it’s journey through cut n paste territories and rhythmic breakdown. All together a potent brew of electronic voodoo.
