The hugely successful first colour vinyl edition sold out in only 2 weeks from release date so due to demand we are already repressing this instant classic! We appreciate that the expensive luxuriously packaged first edition was not for everyone's budget so the second edition is standard black vinyl and a regular sleeve design. These changes have brought the cost back in line with a standard double LP without cheapening the product and is still a superior quality package compared to many other independent releases.

The artwork has been tweaked to work with the standard sleeve format which is presented on heavyweight 380gsm card and is factory sealed in shrink wrap instead of plastic sleeves. We kept the original hype sticker design to retain the overall aesthetic from the first edition along with the same full colour insert but have included an extra information sticker for the back cover with track listing. We have also kept to double vinyl for pressing quality and have even reworked the label design as we found that the first edition labels didn't suit black vinyl quite the same as the colour vinyl edition so even though this is aimed at being cheaper than the first pressing we're still paying close attention to detail.

So as to be able to reach a wider audience we have added a Compact Disc release to the formats available which is presented in a factory sealed card sleeve with full colour inner sleeve so that the design remains in line with the vinyl issue.

r any record, that's come before it. After the unlikely alliance between the Los Angeles label and the iconoclastic Venice, CA musician on Trickfinger, all bets are off. This one's truly a passage through night. Frusciante's using elements of John Carpenter's eternal scores, the drum programming DNA of jungle and footwork, and yes, a Roland TB-303, all slowed down to a crawl. Foregrow is a lurching, lysergic beauty which offers glimpses of his platinum pop instincts, but only behind the veil of true experimentalism.

The 'Free Fall' EP shows a transition from the 'Dark Energy' material, the cartoonish hysteria of 'Eu4ria' and the industrial strength drums and hoover stabs of 'I Am The Queen' show a ravier side, more of a nod to the dancefloor than on her debut album. These are followed by 'BuZilla' a tribute to and re-version of her mentor RP Boo's 'Heavy Heat', with the track chopped into even more jagged shapes than the original. The EP ends on brand new track 'Nandi' which is the first fruit of new experiments exploring a deeper, more poised new sound.

It's been just over a year since the launch of Electro-Blues Vol.1. After an incredible 14 months programming stages from Glastonbury to Bestival and monthly residencies in London and Brightons club land, Freshly Squeezed now return with the second instalment of this groundbreaking compilation series and a further 12' vinyl sampler lifted from it.


Vol.2 whets the appetite for the forthcoming double CD with a second eclectic helping of blues-based dance-floor goodness.


Bobby C Sound TV - "the master of funky breaks" (Krafty Kuts) - and self-appointed president of Ghetto Funk - weights in with a little Rhythm and Blues booty that smashes the door down and totally comes into it's own at club volume. Ecklectic Mick makes an emphatic return, meeting with Brighton's studio dub-maestro King Chubby to present a second exclusive slab of wildly infectious blues. And then, to top it all, we throw in an absolute cracker from Switzerland's Cee-Roo that heats things up to boiling point.


This is tried and tested dance-floor dynamite and expected to disappear off the racks to become a collectors item just as quickly as it's predecessor.


It's a second tantalising hint of what to expect on the upcoming Electro-Blues Vol.2 double CD compilation, highlighting the broad appeal (and divergent styles) of this micro vintage remix genre that is quickly finding it's feet. Do not miss. This will fly.

* Since the legendary shows at The Jazz Café, the sound of London Elektricity has always effortlessly lent itself to a live setting. Today is no different as we present two loungecore classics with band-driven twists by Gentleman's Dub Club and KYX Orchestra.

* Stripping back the drums and serving up the bass is Gentleman's Dub Club with their dancehall re-rub of 'All Hell is Breaking Loose'. Springing from the roots of Leeds, Gentleman's Dub Club have been making reggae and ska shakers get on their feet with their huge Reggae anthem High Grade. This version of 'All Hell is Breaking Loose' is already a firm favourite for the summer sets of Sir David Rodigan and undoubtedly set to shine throughout the festival circuits.

* On the flip side, originally opening the seminal 'Power Ballads' LP of '05, London Elektricity's 'Out of this World' has been reborn with a flavour of big band jazz from Prague's KYX Orchestra. This is a virtuoso cover in the style of Whiplash minus the psychotic bandleader. Well we haven't actually met KYX's bandleader but we're hoping he's a bit more chilled.

Following on from that mighty Drum & Bass mixtape from Karl O'Connor, Sam and Hayley Kerridge's Berlin event series-turned-label return with a killer addendum to their first release - Kerridge's 'Always Offended Never Ashamed' album. These two new tracks are a clarion call to arms - both sides excerpted from a Kerridge live performance for the NTO, Berlin 2013. Convulsing chunks of distorted, heaving junglist venom on the A-side's brutal 'Sonic Instruments Of War #01', the flipside explores more abstract terrain thru vicious, atonal outbursts. Highly recommended if yr into the Downwards catalogue, HATE or recent material from Shapednoise.

Am 29.01.2016 erscheint "The Ashen Tang" in einer neuen Version via 37 Adventures, die drei neue Tracks enthalten wird: "Ophelia", "Love Is A Lonely Town" und "Don't Wanna Lose You". Funk, Soul, R&B und Pop - eine Mischung, die Royce Wood Junior gekonnt auf seinem Album zu verbinden weiß.

Antonello Salis) Short info: As both a producer and the helmsman of the Outis Music label, Dino Sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his Mnemosyne' co-release with Edit Select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate Greek goddess). With one foot planted in a mysterious past and the other foot planted in a world yet to arrive, Sabatini's works are carefully realized emotional journeys that intertwine shimmers of optimism with undercurrents of poignancy or nostalgia. His latest full-length offering, Omonimo' (that's homonym' for non-speakers of Italian), brings all of this to fruition on a record that demands (and rewards) deep listening. After a pulsating Foreword' massages the mind and prepares it for the story that Sabatini is about to tell, Choosing the Right Way' blankets the listener in a rainy day ambience punctuated with tantalizingly distant vocal refrains and nimble piano. At once solemn and erotic, it sets the pace perfectly for a set of tracks that have a cohesive feel, yet all use their own sonic vocabulary and color palette to tell unique variations on the story. It's My Forest,' for example, sticks to the reliable trip-hop / mid-tempo framework while introducing quick snatches of tabla and signaling, hovering synth arpeggios. Follow Me' retains the lush synth pads and cycling percussive loops of that track, and then things take a turn for the slightly darker with The Unexpected,' a sudden uptick in percussive punch and apprehensive intensity.

Fresh rave­bunker busting artillery from thrifty newman Tsunga. With Scratcha's patronage Tsunga began his heavily distorted attack dance floor last year with the terrifying Feisar melding a 92' hardcore sensibility with a Grime edge. First off we launch 'Maris Piper' here timeless breaks get deftly chopped and pasted, huge low­end surges propel this slice of classic jungle techno into the free­parties of 2092! On the flip 'B More Dog' comes harder, military grade drum programming sends ear shattering claps over the top with pounding kick drums huddled behind. Acid stabs dance on top of the crossfire, with full 21 lazer gun salute. Unfriendly for 2015.

BLD returns with a heavyweight cuts EP focused on analog machines and taking influences of early 90's Techno and Acid productions.
A-Side's Be Apart is an epic Acid Breakbeat dancefloor killer looking towards the future and the past. Meanwhile on the B-Side you can find This is the edge, a Deep, Dub and Hypnotizing Stomper, closely followed by Soft Walker, an unique mixture of slow breakbeats and floating acid synths. Stepping up for the second EP on Brame & Hamo's own imprint Splendor & Squalour' is top boy Hamo with his debut solo EP The Cotton Club". With his partner Brame' he has already released staggering EP's on Dirt Crew Recordings' and Detroit Swindle's own HEIST Recordings". A fierce rise in the Deep House Community for sure! We already had a small taste of Hamo's solo productions on the Clockwerk EP' that was released beginning of this year as the first EP on Splendor & Squalour". The EP kicks off with title track Cotton Club' a jazzy deep house jam, keeping the hip hop vibe present. Up next is Wonce' which is a little bit more on the melodic side. Robert Crash is an alias of Italian DJ and producer Fransesco Schito and now he makes a debut outing on Creme Organization with a tidy four track EP. In the past he has turned up on Dog In The Night Records, and with these cuts lays out his singular take on outlier house and techno. Up first is 'Gigolo', a spare and weird house cut with sine waves and random claps, hunched drums and trippy synth lines. It's a unique track made in a unique way and will lead to plenty of freaky dance floor moments, for sure. 'Co. Art' is a whacked out techno cut with slap-funk claps, blistering and blistered synth lines and a rugged bit of bass underlining it all. The track is cavernous and metallic, empty and distant as if it somehow survived a nuclear blast. On the flip, 'Alzheimer' is a slow and gurgling, swampy techno number with broken drums and crawling synths that sound like their batteries have run down. Icy, watery melodies eventually rain down, but the track remains resolutely eerie. Last of all, 'Fabric' is another decaying track with subtle, heavily filtered synths and drums all making for a minimal groove that is barely there. This is heavily deconstructed music that sounds like little else out there and may well be the start of a very fast rise through the ranks for Robert Crash.

The much loved, slightly mysterious but always firing R-Zone series rolls on to its 12th release here. This time the Dutch collective serves up five searing club tracks that are as raw and energetic as ever and look back to a 90s UK heyday for their inspiration. First up is 'Beginning of Life', with old school loon bird calls, lots of rave intentions and nebulous pads all creating a sweaty atmosphere atop rough hewn drums. 'Hardcore Track' is a frenzied cut with pixelated melodies, chopped up vocals and machine gun like drums that pull in many directions at once. '321' then has classic pitch shifted hardcore vocals, rinsing, dusty old break beats and cantering bass, then 'Red Rave #1' is all whacked out and tinny, with skeleton drums jostling next to vocal stabs and dark and ominous spoken word snippets and 'Red Rave #2' gets all jungle by going deep on some rolling, shuffling drums and rich, rubbery bass. For fans of old school, hardcore and rave this Ep will certainly make you smile and, of course, dance!

Following up his debut album 'Emergence', Prague based producer, beatmaker and all round good guy Hybris is back on Noisia's Invisible imprint.

A perfect foil of Hybris' trademark quirkiness vs dancefloor this delivers on every level.

* Back in the early 90's Bay-B-Kane a young producer from East London released his debut EP on what would become one of the most respected and sought after labels in the Jungle scene. This release in particular was instrumental in developing the genre of "Jungle" that morphed into "Drum & Bass" over the next few years.

* This highly revered producer has work under numerous aliases over his 25 production career including Code K, Kid Thunder, Double T, Intelligent Junglist, Parallel. His tracks also appeared on seminal labels like White House Records, Kickin Records & more.

* Support for this legend from artists like Dj Hype, Mickey Finn, Gachet, LTJ Bukem, Slipmat, Ratty, Peshay, JJ Frost shows the high esteem in which this guy is held. This 2015 re-issue has been mastered & cut by Shane The Cutter and still sounds incredible 23 years later. This limited edition run is one of a handful of upcoming re-issues from Bay-B-Kane coming up. The original 1992 release goes for a small fortune 2nd hand and this re-issue will probably be doing the same in a couple of years too!

Rote Liebe releases Tim Keiling's new album under his 'Erdbeerschnitzel' moniker. In contrast to his recent dancefloor-oriented EPs on Delsin Records, 'The Attendants' is hovering over more subtle grounds, featuring a mixture of contemporary electronic composition and hazy experimental pieces just outside the dancefloor proper. Rote Liebe is a Cologne-based collective, founded in 2006 with a focus on events in various off-locations and clubs around the city. 2013 marked the launch of the Rote Liebe label with the aim to build a catalogue which features a broad musical spectrum, featuring House, Techno, Broken Beat and Experimental Electronics just as the regular Rote Liebe nights.

The very first 12' on the label, this EP marked for Duck N' Cover Records the transformation from a hobbyists joint to a serious institution. Just after having previously release three 7' singles by local artists, this release was opening the doors to the following records by Traxman and DJ Clent. This EP is certainly not short on classics, every song on this EP has its very special own space and meaning. Most notably the frenetic sampling of 'Goin Crazy' stands out, but 'Overdose on Marijuana' and 'Invasion' have shook so many dancefloors since the initial release, and the naughty 'Get Down & Bang' will still sound fresh in 30 years.

EQ Why is one of the resident DJ's at Chicago's Battlegroundz weekly meetings, where the city's hottest crews and dancers meet to find out who is currently the best in town. Part of the second generation of producers, he is one of the disciples and heavily inspired and influenced of the scenes originators and OG's such as RP Boo, Traxman, and DJ Clent, Alongside his mates DJ Roc and DJ Diamond, he represents the hard edge battle music movement. His music and production style is functional and hard to the bone, but shows an excellent craftsmanship and sense for drama.

Foley type sound design, heavily edited sample melancholy and brutal basslines put together in an extraordinarily unique and natural sounding fashion, utilizing all disciplines electronic music production has to offer.
The Dutch/Egyptian producer displays an extensive skill set as the album progresses further, blending seamlessly into a cohesive narrative that is most likely some ominous fairytale.
Like a novel has chapters the individual songs become part of a larger composition, compelling the listener to hear how the story ends.
Incredibly diverse and still maintaining a very distinctive style Nour Fawzi's pristine mixing fuses a striking array of audible oddities, nostalgic, brutally dark, wondrous and at times even delicate.
