Amoss follow up their hugely successful Severance / Locked in 12" on Inside with another dancefloor tuned 12"

Here's 'Locked' which will feature on the AA of Dispatch # 57, the track presents another studio collab from Survival and Ant TC1 also featuring the glorious vocals of Christina Nicola. The intro of 'Locked' builds up a real mood and then cuts out gradually and switches into some rather intense drums & bass whilst still maintaining a deep musical feel throughout. On the A side sees hot name Xtrah produce a devastating re-work of Ant TC1s 'Mode Destruction'; he's titled this as 'Xtrah's Moondust remix' and its a fitting title as the drop is so powerful it will probably jolt you all the way to the moon or beyond!

Born from a common will to showcase the maturity and versatility of his producer skills, IM:Ltd has taken the ambitious challenge to give to the extremely talented ARP XP the opportunity to release his first ever solo album effort 'Closer'.
Gathering influences from over ten years spent in the electronic music scene, what we're presenting is an accomplished twelve-track album with the finesse you'd come to expect from the Sardinian Sun & Bass resident.. and some more intriguing touches you might not.
From the eerie dystopia of title track 'Closer' featuring the mournful vocals of Estel Luz, it's clear that none of this release is concerned with brightening wintery nights.
Each track has a vein of inky blackness running through it, and whether it's the clicking, mechanical metronome of standout single 'Something Wrong', the serpentine bass of 'Sickness of Time' or the somewhat middle-eastern-infused bassy stomp of 'Maybe Tomorrow' with that juddering electro clap, the first half of 'Closer' is deeper and darker than the Baltic.
Even with tracks as forcefully dank and derelict as 'Papercuts' there are washes of tunes like 'Uneasy', Stunna's re-work of 'Closer' and the particularly exquisite 'Upon Waves' to counterpoint the gloom, showing some break in the clouds. You can't stamp the sunshine out of a Mediterranean heart. Trademark rolling reeses and distant euphoric pads belie, 'Closer''s cynical sound gives away Arp XP's true intention - to simply make the best bass music album he can.

BUILD007 sees one of the hottest tracks from Baobinga's critically acclaimed 'Joint Ventures' collaborative project flipped by one the fastest-rising producers of the last 12 months. 'Gun Talk' by Baobinga & I.D., featuring the dread vocals of Rider Shafique, attracted support from across the world of forward-thinking DJs - most notably appearing as a highlight of Mary-Anne Hobbs 2011 Sonar performance... to a crowd of 10,000 in Barcelona. For this release, we enlisted Kahn to rework the tune with his trademark blend of grime-vibes and soundsystem bass-pressure. Having appeared twice on the legendary Punch Drunk label, and fresh from remixing Joker, it's pretty much an open secret that Kahn is the Bristol producer set to blow this year. Alongside the original 'Gun Talk', a fresh Baobinga & I.D. beat is blessed with Rider's unique vocals - 'Lickle Further' blending funky, bashment and dancehall vibes together into a gyal-friendly dancefloor killer.

On this release BCee gets remixes of 'The Faith' from Marcus Intalex, Seba and Interface. All of these mixes really do the original justice which to be fair was an absolute tune in it's own right.

After the huge success of his 'Who Is It' remixes, Bladerunner returns to Philly Blunt with two old skool inspired cuts that prove the spirit of the Jungle is alive and well in 2012! Classic vocal samples, reverse basslines, choppy drums and vibes are what both of these tunes are all about.

Narratives Music returns with the follow up to January's much acclaimed 'Sagan' / 'Broken' single. Having been championed by the likes of D Bridge, Skeptical, Laurent Garnier and Loxy, the label's debut release was heralded for its distinctness of sound and mood; a contrast of aggression and emotion which demanded to be listened to in its entirety.Again label owners Blocks and Escher take the helm for this release and in A side 'Shiver' deliver a piece which perfectly projects their desire to balance dance floor grit with musicality. Dark minimalist textures and a wall of sound bassline are simply the canvas for a palette of ethereal vocals, rolling glitched drums and soaring soundtrack like string section which as its name suggests, will send a shiver down spines. This fusion of dancefloor simplicity with the warm melancholic tones of the label's previous outing has been on constant rotation with the likes of Rockwell and Doc Scott over the last few months and perfectly portrays the label's vision of Drum and Bass music in 2012.The flip to this release is in no way merely a B side and unleashes man of the moment ASC (Autonomic/ Non Plus) on one of the Blocks and Escher's first collaborations, 'Heartshaped'. Pulling the original apart, ASC creates a constantly evolving journey in his own inimitable style. Having already gained support from D Bridge and Flight, this masterful rethink goes someway to reveal the free reign and broad spectrum of the Narratives Music stable.DJ Support : Rockwell, D Bridge, Loxy, ASC, Doc Scott, Flight, Skeptical, Foreign Concept, Laurent Garnier, Sabre.

The collaborative project from Jonas Uman and Mick Vegas of Bad Company UK, Blokhe4d has dazzled the bass music scene ever since its inception. Blu Mar Ten releases the first in a three-part series of remixes from their album 'Love is the Devil'. Part One features reworkings from dBridge and Marcus Intalex. All Thoughts Are Prayers (Marcus Intalex remix) - Where the original version of All Thoughts Are Prayers drifted and meandered in semi-ambient territory, Marcus Intalex drags it kicking & screaming into euphoric dancefloor territory.True hands-in-the-air breakdowns give way to a classic liquid palette before being taken over by a smooth reese bassline that always gets a cheer from the crowd.Marcus has done what he does best, creating emotion-driven tracks for the floor that never compromise on quality.Sweet Little Supernova (dBridge remix) - In stark contrast to the user-friendliness of the Intalex remix, dBridge turns in a discordant and unsettling version of 'Sweet Little Supernova'.Twisting up the original's sweet harmonies and pattering percussion, dBridge introduces hammering breaks and a disturbing bassline before throwing ear-piercing frequencies and distortion into the mix while bringing the previously-ethereal vocal line right to the forefront.A harmonically difficult and challenging remix, this version is only for those who are prepared to listen to music more than once to get something out of it.

Moscow based producer Cutworks has been floating around the D&B scene for sometime now. For Celsius 022 he delivers again with two quality tunes.

Any fan of drum & bass will know the name Cyantific. Having built a reputation as a leader of the new school D&B generation, Jon Stanley is now approaching a decade of releasing incredible music that's equally at home on the dance floor as it is on your iPod or in your car.Last year saw Cyantific unleash an incredible single for Ram Records, as well as 'Bounce It' / 'Obey' on his own self-titled Cyantific record label. Here we have the follow up to that release and it's undoubtedly another exciting 12', packed with plenty of Cyantific's trademark energy.Effortlessly combining sharp production skills with graceful musicality, you can always be assured that a new Cyantific record is one to watch out for and this new single is certainly no exception.'Mirador' takes the lead, opening with huge sweeping sound FX and a bouncing synth line that harks back to a classic Ram sound. It's not long before you notice Cyantific's signatures though, as he brings in vocal snippets and washing pads that gradually build and grow before a monster bassline drops into the mix. This one undeniably straddles the line between restrained musical class and outright dance floor mayhem. On the flip side 'Defect' comes in at an infinitely more paranoid level. Strings are infused with urgency and rolling breaks thunder along, dragging you kicking and screaming towards the inevitable drop. You won't be disappointed when it hits either, grinding bassline sections are juxtaposed with obsessive synths, all pulling you deeper into Cyantific's musical world.

To complete his 'Making Simple Things Complex' project, Data has produced an EP of sculpted, streamlined D&B that balances the cyber-creativity of techno with funky, more human elements.
