This 12' features two wicked tracks from the new A Sides album 'Mysterious Vibes'. A Sides describes both in his own words.: I love 'Temperature's Rising' as it's a perfect example of the rough with the smooth which I love, plus I took Fats' vocals a step higher by having him work harmonies, something which he rarely does. I love the piano, always have since back in the day :) ! 'Ain't Nobody' is also a special track. It's emotional to me and inspired by a certain somebody :) I love the strings, the smooth bass, the piano (again) and the beats which all create real soulful, uplifting vibes.

The final 12' Vinyl taken from the Turn The Page album. Whilst other tunes have hinted at it, 'Metroplex' fully embraces their inherent love of techno with huge half-time 808's and synths that would make Juan Atkins chomp at the bit. One for those who know and a lovely surprise for those who are yet to know. On the flip 'Future Shock' sticking with the vintage outboard gear sounds the guys then up it once more for one final drum & bass rollout that has killer written all over it. Turn it up, close your eyes and get marching!

This September Blu Mar Ten release the second single from their much-anticipated new album project 'Love is the Devil'.Problem Child: Fusing the classic Virus sound with Blu Mar Ten's inimitable ethereal production 'Problem Child' is cross-scene classic finding its way into a wide range of sets, from D Bridge and London Elektricity to Hype and Nicky Blackmarket. A deceptively sedate intro of choirs and strings gives way to a rollout full of howling mid-range and sub basses, interspersed with phrases of pure distortion all gliding over a set of sleazily funky breaks. Watch out for the rollercoaster reese on the second drop, guaranteed to send any club potty.Sweet Little Supernova: In stark contrast, 'Sweet Little Supernova' showcases the talents of Rochelle Parker who delivers a Cocteau Twins-esque vocal over Blu Mar Ten's dense music. THE MASSIVE LOUDER FROM DJ FRESH AS SEEN ON THE LUCOZADE ADVERT.

Dom of Dom & Roland needs no introduction. With his Roland sampler, he has been at the apex of drum and bass since the mid 90s. One of the original pioneers of the techstep sound. NME once called him the George Lucas of the scene, due to his unfaltering ability to provide the listener with an auralgasm of epic soundscapes inspired by the visuals of a thousand sci-fi movies. You only have to search for the youtube video of DJ Marky 'broking out' to Enforced which he played as his last tune at Global Gathering this year to see the impact this album will have this year and for the years to come.

Relative newcomer to the scene Harvest has been turning some heads in Drum & Bass circles for his fresh take on Jump Up D&B.

* 2011 is shaping up to be quite some year for D&B's most famous imprint, Metalheadz. After a clutch of releases from the frighteningly talented new generation of 'Headz artists, this latest 12' sees Goldie's legendary label welcome back one of its original and most defining artists, J Majik, alongside his production partner of the last eight years, Wickaman.
* J Majik is one of the most important jungle/D&B artists of all time, with a discography that spans an astonishing 17 years and takes in almost every style and sound in the genre's history. From early, groundbreaking jungle productions such as 'Your Sound' and 'Apache', through house-inspired anthems such as 'Love Is Not A Game' and 'Solarise', to the floor-flattening new school jump up of 'Dubplate Killaz' and the euphoric, vocal-led 'Crazy World' - J Majik is an artist who really has done it all.
* Now, 13 years after his last release for Metalheadz, J Majik returns to the label that made his name with one of the most anticipated releases of 2011, featuring two tracks that hark back to the golden age of D&B in stunning style.
* 'The Ritual' takes the classic Metalheadz sound and decorates it with an evocative vocal sample that's helped take this awe-inspiring slice of electronic art from A-list DJ's record bags to Radio 1 playlists. Classic jungle breaks, swirling atmospherics and furlong-deep bass interact perfectly to complete a stunning homage to J Majik's early forays on 'Headz.
* With a track title like 'Old Headz', you know exactly to expect - atmospheric, intelligently constructed and beautifully balanced music that drips with soul. Sci-fi pads, twinkling melodies classic breakbeats and, of course, an evolving Reese bass, all combine effortlessly to forge a track that's just as powerful in the dance as it is through headphones.

L Plus is Technique's latest signing and his label debut 'Time Travel' proves he belongs with the drum and bass greats Slovakian Martin Janak started Djing at University in Bratislava and soon became central to the Slovak scene.Known for his energetic and popular live sets L Plus has the support of many big name drum and bass players and has been described as a 'name to watch' by Drum and Bass Arena.

In 2011 Swiss run Demand Records has proven something that hundreds of start-up labels every year fail to: that you can start a successful record label from scratch without compromising on the quality of the music. In an ocean of mediocre imprints and teeth-grating noise slapped together on home studio set ups, this label demands more - and the support they've received from Brookes Brothers, DJ Hype, DJ Marky, Netsky, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, the mighty UKF Drum & Bass channel and more is proof positive that Demand Records is doing something right. Their next release sees them do something else right, sign a single from Luke Beavon a.k.a LSB. Having released sporadically since 2002, LSB is hardly new to the game, but this year sees him at his production best with a fresh set of releases. Straight out of the box is 'Subdued', an impeccably produced slice of melancholic drum & bass that Kiss FM's DJ Hype describes as 'Ice cold'.Gradually building and growing, this is a track that slowly creeps its way into your head and then doesn't let go. Gentle bass trickery and sweeping atmospherics are the order of the day and this one is sure to provide a momentary moment of calm amongst the D&B minutia. 'Beep' doesn't disappoint either as LSB creates an equally good, but altogether different, vibe. Tiny scatterings of drums are underlain with percussive energy that roll the track along as expertly placed sound effects intersperse with precision and a deep and deadly sub bass ensures people's ribcages will be rattling.
