D&B / BASSLINE MIXES OF THE MASSIVE YASMIN.

This is another brilliant release from the Spearhead camp and this time label owner BCee teams up with vocalist Lingby. 'Count The Stars' and 'Switchfoot' are both blinding tracks which truly show you what this label is about and ever since this sister label was started a year ago ever track has done great numbers and the punters love it. Keep doing your thing BCee.

Limited Edition coloured vinyl: Mixed Orange & White Vinyl One of the most anticipated releases for some time, we are proud to bring you the debut recordings from young Auckland, New Zealand duo Tokyo Prose. Discovered very early in their careers by DJ Presha, the two Sam's were signed to Samurai Red Seal as core artists in a long term development deal. It has taken a few years to get to the point where we have this debut release fully polished and ready, but as you will hear the wait has been worth it. These 2 producers have quickly formed a very distinctive style that has been drawing fans in their droves. As well as many general fans of Drum and Bass music, their eager fanbase boasts name DJ's and established producers before they have ever had a fully available product to purchase.'Introducing Tokyo Prose' brings stylish swagger and musical substance to a scene overflowing with identical bare boned rollers. Gliding between minimal ambience and deep soulful steppers, these gifted young men aptly display their knack for sample selection and unique groove building. DJ support has been consistent from names like Calibre, Spectrasoul, Lenzman, Loxy, Random Movement, Lynx, Presha, Sinistarr and many more.

Utopia's new boy Villem drops two slices of ice cold beats in the fourth installment of future funk. The A side is 'Provide'. With dischord jazz influences married with diamond cut beats and swathes of sub-bass, this tune combines a minimal approach with deep impact. A tingly second drop will keep you listening. The flip side is 'Red Matter', a future black stepper, which brings a sense of menace without forgetting the all-important funk. Sci-fi effects and a cleverly edited breakdown ensure this 12 will deliver on both sides. DJ support: LTJ Bukem, Doc Scott, Makoto, Bailey, Loxy, Total Science, Break, Spectrasoul, Dj Lee, Flight, Survival and many distinguished others. Press support so far includes a DOA mix/interview available from the 21st march to view online and a knowledge mag interview. Watch out for more Utopia releases from Break, Mute and Mako, Survival, Mikal, Spinline, Andyskopes and Fields.

Fresh for the summertime shine is yet more goodness from camp Critical with a diamond dubplate burner straight out of the Code 3 studio. The production trio made up of SP:MC, Jubei and Dakuan show their pedigree for CRIT055 with two slabs of almost retro D&B that could only have come been from scene stalwarts like these. Quality through and through. 'What You Sayin' runs out with simple two-tone chords and a staggered break to ease us into this creeping cut of subtle but definitely dangerous drum & bass. Snapping snares roll out, sub thuds from beneath as the gnawing b-line wrestles its way to throughout rearing its head then ducking beneath the surface only for the smooth keys to return to the mix. A classy piece of contrasting moods that'll sit perfectly on the Critical collector's shelf. Over the page 'Double Dipped' intros with another big break and spooky, quizzical pads and a winding double-bass that weaves its way in gently to the drop. Perhaps reminding of the Full Cycle and Talkin' Loud golden era this one is a hard-stepping, funked up track that'll have the floors calling for the reload. Awesome!DJ support from Hype, Friction, Jubei, Fabio, Marky, Kasra, S.P.Y. and many more.

Breed 12 inches a label for musicians with extreme talent and production abilities. From the outside, it would appear that Breed 12 Inches has a unique bond with Russia. Rising star Encode has raised the bar once again, holding nothing back, offering a huge 12' that has been literally cained by every DJ in the scene, from Audio to John B.

6 tracks from UK producer Heretik ON Swiss based label Subvert Recordings

Picking up where he left off on PLAYAZ011 'Busta Move' and 'Death March', DJ Hazard continues to bring the freshest sounding drum and bass around. Having locked himself away and developed a whole new dimension to his sound, Hazard brings influences from the Drum and Bass sound of the late '90s with up-to-date production and rhythmic patterns.

After recent releases from Riya and Distance, we return to Autonomic founders dBridge and Instra:mental to provide 004 and give us another slice of 'Autonomia' or whatever you may like to call it. 'From the start' This is Instra:mental doing what they do best in their unique style which many have tried to copy but never seem to quite achieve. Their elegant mixtures of analogue drum machines, synth's and effects are rife in this track, shaped into melodies, sequences and patterns that are so distinctive to their sound there's really no need to try and explain it. That said it is by no means predictable apart from the quality which is as always controlled.AA) dBridge - Detuned Heart dBridge has been pushing his production boundries further and further over the last year acknowledging his influences within his productions and in turn influencing others. 'Detuned Heart' is a good example of Autonomics purpose of being an outlet focused on straying from the beaten track and discovering new territories. dBridge uses his characteristic moody chords and beautiful melodies to create this piece that like the A side, couldn't really be achieved by or confused with anyone else.

A collaboration of 2 of the biggest names on the scene SKEPTA & N. DUBZ fresh from chart success in the UK, N.DUBZ are on course to take the US by storm, hear they team up with the mighty SKEPTA for this huge release 'SO ALIVE'

2X12' & 11 track CD Album shrink-wrap bundle.Nil by Ear is Sate of Mind's third studio album, the first two being Take Control (Uprising) & Faster than Light (SOM). This album represents the peak so far of the lads technical skills, its carefully produced from start to finish. Tracks are frequently tied together, and a lot of thought has gone into the flow of the album. This is one that can be listened too from beginning to end, as opposed to a collection of singles. However that doesn't mean that State of Mind have forgotten about the 3am raver. Almost all of the tracks have all been smashing it up world wide over the last 6 months in their own right.Collaboration wise, the album features several of NZ's most talented vocalists including Shapeshifter's P.Digsss, Thomas Oliver, Sacha Vee, Mc Woody & PNC, as well as American singer 3pm. The only production collaborators are Nymfo and DNME. Several other collaborations were planned for the LP, but in the end were unable to fit. These will be released as bonus tracks.

After the storming success of 'Grahams Tunnel' and 'Bullet' from Survival and Silent Witness. Audio tactics kick off 2011 with quality collaboration with this year's hottest duo DLR & Octane. Spectrum brings out the best out of Survival's crisp, tight beats and trademark soundscapes along with DLR and Octane's fat twisted basslines and high quality production to give you epic, rolling stomper. This track has been doing the rounds and smashing dance floors for the last few months worldwide....so get on it! After Glow is a more subtle affair, but don't let that fool you into thinking that this won't do damage. Sweet, delicate drum work and sublime bass manipulation, intricate vocal stabs and space age FX make this a track not to mess with, trust! With radio and club support from the like of Hype, Break, Spy, Ant TC1, Skeptical, Teebee, Fierce, Ed Rush, Doc Scott, C4C and Alix Perez.

Moving on from the last heavy hitting Modulations release and we're treated to an even more sturdy effort from two names that need no introduction. A bit of a dream collaboration between Vicious Circle and Metalheadz man Jubei, and where better place to serve it up than from Critical's Modulations imprint. 'Cloak & Dagger' wastes no time and kicks off with a solid stepping break as eerie space warped pads wrap around to suck us deep into the wormhole. Heinous bass slams on this sound system killer, perfect for some late night 3am entertaining and leaves us in no doubt of a properly undiluted low-slung king of the rollers. Nasty, naughty but nice. Sliding perfectly into the second slab and 'Deliberate' continues much in the same vein but it manages to up the ante with some even more sickening bassline action. Running percussion increases the pace whilst the bass stabs take it up another notch for a heads down, no nonsense slice of D&B goodness. Never fails. DJ support from Alix Perez, Rockwell, Lenzman, Kasra, D Bridge and more.

Zen makes the move over to Nu Urban and unleashes the beats with a remix of 'Rhubarb and Custard' by non other than Playaz hard hitter, Taxman. The original was a big hit for Flip Audio so it's no surprise that this remix is in high demand. On the AA, Zen re-works his 'Full Effect' for the Dubstep DJ. A great start here for Zen, shortly to be followed by the massive 'Beatbox'.
