Beats Vinyl Neuheiten & Releases - News

These young up-and-coming stars of the scene are gearing up for their debut album and this is the second mouthwatering taster from it. 'Turn It Up' has been getting rewinds everywhere it's unleashed, thanks to the combination of soothing, musical touches and a grizzly, distorted drop that takes the track straight into peak-time dancefloor territory. 'Stop' shows these cats can turn their hand to dubstep with ease, with a slew of deadly basslines battling it out for supremacy. Deadly!

Both tracks have been getting huge support from the likes of Andy C, Sub Focus, High Contrast, Chase & Status, Noisia, Marky, and Fabio to name but a few.

Dj support from; Bryan G, Goldie, Storm, Pendulum, Loxy and many more.

Dub Foundation! This duo are set for very big things in 2010, The West Midlands finest have laid the foundations for something big and are Technique's newest signings. The Return is a monster hybrid somewhere between dubstep & drum & bass and has been setting smashing dancefloors the world over.
Cosmic Ray is another killer cut based around a simple but hypnotic synth riff that bounces around inside the track whilst the beats and bass keep things big bad and very heavy

AARON JAY'S AWARD WINNG LABEL

Jubei is the name on the lips of almost every top-flight drum & bass DJ in 2009 - Whether it’s his solo productions, his work as a member of Code 3 (with SP:MC and Dakuan) or collaborations with the likes of Breakage, Phobia, Icicle, Cern, SPY, Lenzman, Logistics and Fierce, his music features heavily in the sets of those in the know. Emcee Recordings released his debut ‘StilThereâ€and ‘Harvesterback in 2006 after which collaborations with Breakage paved the way for another co-write, ‘ThStruggleâ€this time alongside Sabre for Breakage and Equinox’Scientific Wax.

Soothsayer returns with its twentieth vinyl plate and proudly presents the addition of SS015 and artist Thought to the roster. Hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria Ivan Sotirov (Thought) has quickly built a reputation for employing the hardest beats to be had in Eastern Europe. Having played Therapy Sessions and released a 12 on the famed UK label, Obscene, Thought rise to prominence continues with his Soothsayer debut - a slab of heavy tribal breaks and halfstep riddims dubbed up plenty of dark bass. Resist is a dark tribal affair with grinding mid rage bass and intricate percussion. Stylistically the tune yields the best elements of a steppa, a roller, and a stormer all meld together in a tightly weld concoction of brutality. Bludgeoning beats and corrosive bass for the dubwize massive and rivetheads alike. Holism is a sinister tribal half steppa that has previously been slated for release by Loxy and Tech Itch. We at Soothsayer were elated to acquire Holism to complete this epic double a sided offering. Pumping sub bass pads, mid range dirt, and tribal dub manoeuvres govern this track. Robust enough to appeal to junglists and dubsteppers alike, Holism is a blazing wedge of outright aural wretchedness.

The next release from East London’s Nasha Records crew features three dubstep cuts that have been getting support from all across the scene.
Two solo outings from Sukh Knight and Shandy, and then a deeper track from the collective Nasha Experience round off the 12”

Gabba Wasp features all the hallmarks of a classic Sukh Knight track. Crisp drums, big snares, bollywood vocals and monstrous bass. A tune that fits perfectly with the Nasha ethos.

Foghorn by Shandy has been tearing the clubs down for over a year now, and has been a regular in the Nasha dj sets. A real jump up track, that has been getting the reloads worldwide. LFO bass modulated with class, no cheesy riffs here!

Narnia takes the listener on a deeper journey through a far away land. Conjuring up images of a mystical world using Middle Eastern strings and samples.

This label has gone from strength to strength tapping into the reggae genre and slapping some seriously sub-low waves accompanied by crisp 174 beats. Birmingham's Aries and Murda have made a massive name for themselves in this genre and expect much more, Riddem Again.

Encompassing that unmistakable BSE sound throughout, 'Lights And Wires' is an accomplished piece of work that simultaneously brings together ten years of drum and bass production while exploring new musical ground. Tracks like 'Extraction' and 'Kempi' are vintage Black Sun Empire. Rough, rugged and raw, fans of intense Drum and Bass will not be disappointed.
