Exit Records bring a new project to the table with a collaboration between Consequence and Joe Seven. Consequence made his debut on Exit in 2009 with his highly acclaimed album 'Live For Never' capturing the attention of electronica fans world-wide with his organic and unique take on Drum n Bass. Also having been a staple part of the Autonomic camp since day one, he's slowly but surely developing his sound and delving deeper into the unknown. This time he teams up with another new Exit artist Joe Seven (who has an imminent solo single) and together they have created the They Live alias to showcase what happens when these two minds meet in the studio. The album is very much intended to be listened to in the order it has been presented, as a whole body of music meant to capture your senses and lead you across a soundscape of atmospheres, textures, differing tempos and a variety of percussion elements. In the same way as a silent movie can stimulate your sense of hearing, Cancel Standard does the opposite like an imageless movie, giving you the soundtrack and letting you imagine your own visual elements. Each track sets its own scene that is part of the bigger picture, creating a body of music that can offer the listener detachment from their immediate surroundings and escapism into an alternate reality.

Are you ready~ I say.. ARE YOU READY~!~! Cause it's time for some disturbance so you'd better get out your blast suits and your bulletproof vests.

The original DJ heavyweight Roger Sanchez returns to the UK charts in March with his hotly tipped brand new single 2Gether, alongside new and already massive electro-hop act Far East Movement.

Cern releases the sampler to the forthcoming album 'Terminus' on Project 51. Cern describes 'Terminus' as 'an album that takes its roots from Techstep and funk driven D&B,' going on to say 'the album reflects the inspiration gained from his long standing admiration for producers like Ed Rush & Optical, Matrix, Konflict and Source Direct', incorporating the sound they represented at a time, in his opinion, when Drum & Bass was 'at its peak'

Marlon Sterling aka Equinox cements his reputation as one of the D&B scenes most versatile, single-minded and dextrous beat manipulators on his latest in a long catalogue of brain-bending releases. The incendiary opener to a now infamous Equinox & Bailey set at Technicality in 2003 - 'Meecha' finally sees the light of day. Originally completed in 1996 on an Amiga computer, the tune has lost none of its appeal 15 years on and it's all the better for the audible crunch on the amen beats. This is one of the very best tunes from Equinoxs unreleased DAT library, and that's saying something !! 'So many people out here who make different styles of music you know - this music is something that they feel'. The repeated mantra at the opening of the flip side prepares you for an altogether different experience to what went before. Made in 2009 but with a definite nod to the oldskool style, 'Your Love's So Cold' is poignant, heartfelt D&B at its very best. The arrangement deftly builds to a beautiful swell of echoed vocals, icey-atmospherics and rolling beats and bass. Just like the A Side, this one is certain to defy fashions and trends and will be just as moving in 2024.

Fabio yet again digs deep to support some of D&B's freshest sounds. Dystopia / House Groove have
both won support the likes of Hype, Crissy Criss & Grooverider. Sato is an up and coming Producer from the North East who is
making waves with some of the games main players. Amongst others, Sato has gained praise and support from Goldie, Marcus
Intalex & Fabio. In 2009 one of the most respected producers in the scene stepped up on remix duties and Sato's ascent into the
limelight shifted up a gear. Breaks remix of Barn perfectly complemented Satos brooding sound but added a choppier flavour while
lending his top flight credibility. With an increasingly impressive list of releases to his name, look out for Turning Point on Ingredients
and Scorched on Future Thinking.

How and why these two tracks got pushed so far back in the autonomic release schedule is anyones guess. These two cuts are arguably ASC's biggest to date (perhaps with the exception of 'The Touch'), and two tracks that go a long way in defining the early sound of the autonomic movement. Finally they are going to see the light of day however, news that is sure to satisfy the baying hoards of hungry autonomic devotees that have waited so long and so patiently for their release.Starkwood is about dancefloor as Autonomic has ever gotten and probably will ever get - the pounding kick drum, coupled with the rhytmical, shuffling tribal percussion is infectious and guaranteed to get heads nodding and bodies moving. Reform is on a totally different vibe altogether with its breathy vocal snippets and detroit-ish synths giving it a silky, sultry feel.

Critical Music marches forward, tapping into yet more new talent for 2011 resulting in an absolutely filthy D&B excursion that has had the likes of Andy C going ballistic for it. Hailing from Russia, Enei, who has already bagged himself an exclusive album deal with Critical, Eastcolors and Noel may be familiar with a few but with this release they look set to cement themselves in the collective consciousness of drum & bass aficionados the world over. 'Cracker' is rough, rugged and very, very raw. Ultra-tech D&B could be the term to use as the trio of producers come together to deliver what could possibly even be one of Critical's biggest releases to date. Full of sick mid-ranges, snapping drums and sneaking subs, this one is cold, dry and full of funk that'll have people full-on skanking around clubs until the early hours. Absolute gold. Enei then goes it alone on the more experimental 'Danger Dance', that intros with a sparse arrangement of stalking pads and fx that set the mood of unrest. In bounces a low-slung bass and it's away we go on this gorgeously glitchy, 808-laden ride that sits perfectly alongside the likes of Rockwell and indeedCritical. DJ support from Andy C, Alix Perez, Friction, Icicle, Cyantific, Nu:tone, Logistics, Rockwell, Lenzman, Hype, Jubei, Ulterior Motive and more.

Biggest release of the year alert (I kid you not) Remixing RackNRuin's awesome Soundclash EP we have: SKiSM, Deekline, & Ed Solo, They're both great, but if you ever want to see a dancefloor frothing at the mouth and gouging their eyes out in admiration, drop the SKiSM remix (on a little Tudor Rape Flex as he puts it) Mixes currently getting bashed by Sub Focus, Crookers, Zinc, Skrillex, Far Too Loud, Freetylers, Plump DJs, Reid Speed, Tomb Crew, Bassnectar, Kissy Sellout Dirtyphonics, Lady Waks & DC Breaks

Eastern wonderboy Command Strange returns to Fokuz after his very impressive debut album 'Soul Booster'. Still being played by all the superstar dj's in the world of liquid dnb, but also by major players like Grooverider. Command Strange tracks are getting a lot of airplay at the world famous Radio 1 show of mister Grooverider and Fabio!

During the years Modulate Recordings has moved from strength to strength and now she picks up the pace with another piece of Italian DnB history. This double A sided 12 showcases the work of our most acclaimed Rome based producers Aeph, Dabs and Maztek from Subculture who recently signed for Renegade Hardware. MadBox is a blend of razor sharp beats, rumbling synths and 80s retro arpeggios with an amazing dubstep breakdown that will simply blow the dancefloor off. Floating is a relentless techy tune made with Mazteks unmistakable style and top-notch quality, showcased on State Of Minds Next Level podcast 001. All in all, this double single is awesome and these guys are a force to be reckoned with.. Check it!

Limited Solid Gold Vinyl. Following the opening of 2011 with our first 12 from Need For Mirrors comes this sub bass bomb by the husband and wife team of ASC & Vaccine. Both artists have recorded for Instra:mentals Nonplus label and dBridges Exit Recordings. Veteran producer ASCs 2010 album Nothing Is Certain for Non:Plus was without a doubt one of the most important electronic albums of the year, redefining the very limits of Drum and Bass and stretching the genres sound design to embrace other tempos. Machines has received high rotate play from DJs like Doc Scott, Loxy, dBridge, Instra:mental, Flight, Need For Mirrors, Presha and many more. The tune signals a new direction for ASC, this time aided by his incredibly talented spouse who adds a subtly funky bounce to the groove. The B side marries a vintage Photek approach with a Krustesque quirk and gives birth to a totally unique innovative sound. Essential! Release number 2 for 2011 from the Samurai stable precedes the debut EP from hot newcomer kiwis Tokyo Prose and the debut solo single from another kiwi Dose, who produced one of our biggest selling singles The Other Part Of Me alongside Trei in 2008. Also look for the rebirth of the Foreign Exchange series from Samurai Music and further releases from ASC & Need For Mirrors on Samurai Red Seal.
