Nuevos Lanzamientos Beats - Novedades

Celebrating the Old Skool and the New, this EP will take you on a journey through time; revisiting some of the origins of drum and bass. We start by breathing new life into original tracks from the “DJ Syko - Be Alright EP Candidate Records (CAT004)”; re-mastering and re-engineering these 1994 classics.

DJ Trax returns with 3 slabs of funked up deep jungle!!

After more than 25 years of active absorption of Drum and Bass music, the pandemic finally scrambled my daily life and cellular imprint enough to clear a path for a solo musical contribution.

Many people that were around in the mid/late ’90s are still living off the charge that the unbridled innovation those few years gave us all. RATS is built on this energy.

• Second Drop Records follow up their first two sold out EPs with another slice of old school wizardry. Featuring label owners and long time Kniteforce artists Paul Bradley and The Lowercase, here you have a four track ep that shows their various talents to the fullest, with impeccable production and tracks that leap off the vinyl and wont sit still. Proper old skool hardcore for those in the know…

* New from JUNGLE CAT RECS. comes a slamming, tuff release ‘Number 1 Crew’ from Dub-Liner & Omen Breaks.
Coming with the East Coast hip hop flavour, the wax comprises of 2 big and heavy tunes for all Jungle/Hip Hop lovers.
The B side tfeatures another heavy tune with a hip hop vibe ‘Dub-Liner - Blow Sh*t Up’

Label owner Kingsize gets his first release on the label, 25 years in the game as a producer but the first solo outing since 2006. These tracks sit firmly in with the 94/95 drum & bass / jungle sound.
Get My Loving is a pad and piano filled beauty of a track. The piano line is straight out of the Omni Trio piano handbook. The track eases itself along at a lovely mellow pace showcasing the musical elements before dropping down to a minimal stepping section, which is the calm before the storm. We then enter an amen workout in typical 94/95 fashion before the grand musical finale. Fantastic stuff.
Dream tracking has received praise from all angles. Being championed by Jay Cunning on his show it has become the most anticipated track to be released on Time Tunnel.
Again pianos and pads are the key elements here and the vocal narration on the track helps take things onto an ethereal level. When the track drops you are transported back to AWOL at the Paradise. The dreamy breakdown sections are a stark contrast to the deep moody drops, this leads to the dark/light balance that so many crave for being presented perfectly.
A future classic.

more of his wares on his first solo release. This 3 tracker dives straight into that oldskool dark side hardcore sound that NewKiller has already becoming known for.
Lurking Among Us is bleak, minimal, dark and unsettling. It’s the kind of track where you feel yourself getting pulled into some kind of dark void. Truly Haunting.
On the flip, Random Acts Of Cruelty is the complete opposite. NewKiller locks into that high speed 93 sound that combines heavily edited breaks, deep sub bass and obscure samples. A rusher of a tune that would tick all the boxes for lovers of the Bizzy B sound from this era.
The bonus track is a stripped down reworking of the lead track from the now hard to find TUNNEL001. All of the Chernobyl samples are stripped away to reveal the bare bones of the track and it is an absolute screamer. Amens, 808 bass and moody synths are all there. The sort of thing you would hear on the dance floor at the Lazerdrome in Peckham back in 93!

Dubcore and Stoopid Plastics joined again to drop this anniversary release of the 2002 released Istari Lasterfahrer EP Inner City Fear. Brings back the original tune by Istari Lasterfahrer on plate again as requested. As long as treated by Terrorrythmus, We Rob Rave and FFF as a remixed version for updated breakbeat and dub science.

MCC returns with x3 roll cage rattlers from the elusive DJ SKIFT, rumoured to be operating remotely outta the True North-North East territories. Recommended if ur into anything good.

Since 2017’s Intimacy & Isolation, Darcy Baylis has gone through several musical metamorphoses, constantly integrating new sounds into his practice.

Darcy’s sophomore album, A House Breaking, sees him weaving through genres with a distinct sense of purpose. Powerful musings on love, addiction, and the sheer danger of growing up are spotlit against a diverse musical backdrop. Breakbeats, autotune, dancehall rhythms and ambient sketches are eloquently woven together throughout the course of the album; seemingly disparate, yet meshing perfectly.

A House Breaking was recorded / mixed in Melbourne by Darcy Baylis & Joseph Buchanan. Mastered by Darren Ziesing.

In 2019, ASC decided it was time to return to the music that he grew up on. With a gentle nudge from Presha, the breakbeats were back in the mix and a slew of mid 90’s-inspired drum & bass ensued. The majority of the heavier break-oriented and edit-ladened were set aside for projects with Samurai, however, there were a grip of tracks that were more at home with the older atmospheric / intelligent styles of drum & bass from the mid 90’s. Ideasthesia is the culmination of that work. Four tracks of atmospheric drum & bass in its most unadulterated form. No drum machines at work here, just sped up breakbeats, heavy 808 bass, blissful pads, and ethereal textures. Ideasthesia is a true love letter to a golden age of music which sadly seems long forgotten.

* Following on from the success of our 'Liftin Spirit Reloaded' vinyl series, we are pleased to announce our next project in collaboration with Ram Records. 'Ram Reloaded' will be a series of limited 12" vinyl from Ram's early years, re-mastered from the original DATs and presented onto our usual, high quality, heavy weight vinyl.

* Andy C's follow up to his previous 'Bass Logic' EP came in 1993 with the title track 'Slip 'N' Slide. Retaining Hardcore elements of the era with the typical orchestra stabs dropping to the lower octaves with oscillating low sub bass lines over off beat breaks. Sonz of a Loop Da Loop Era (Danny Breaks), from the legendary record shop in Romford 'Boogie Times' was tasked with remixing Andy C's 'Bass Constructor'. Original vocals which were performed by Andy's local friend Karen, layered over African vocal sample chants. Hardcore flavours with a nod back to Eastern Promise's (RAMM2) high sub blip echoes.

* Moving forward in time to 1995, Andy C smashed it out of the park with Ram's 12th release. 'Roll On' was originally the B side, but after smashing up dance floors all over the world, it became almost as anthemic as 'Valley of the Shadows'. Instantly recognisable string pad chords highlight precision tooled breakbeats of the newer Jungle genre that had emerged out of Hardcore. Heralded as a true classic from that year. ‘Cool Down’ was originally the A side of RAMM12, this Amen tear out track with the vocal 'cool down the dance hall' did exactly the opposite, setting dance floors ablaze with its energy and attack.

Cantankarous Dub : Metting craziness of a 90's early ragga Jungle and jazzy swings opening to some fat amen breaks solo. 160 BPM killer !

Roll The Mice : Up to 170 BPM here, with a newskool metting point between Jungle and Drum... From this base it develops into a breakbeat fonky swinga ... but not only : after the touch down drop, like on the A side, again a wicked Amen break solo dancefloor shot !

Sunny & Deck Hussy bounce across the various Kniteforce labels with a speed and enthusiasm matched only by their music. But this EP is a little bit special. Capturing the early warehouse rave vibe perfectly, this is an EP of tunes for the breaking dawn of all night raves. That transcendent moment between night and day, when nothing seems quite real, and reality is a malleable future. Perhaps that is too much to lay at the feet of a 12” EP, but this EP brings that level of emotion, transporting an old skool head like me to that very moment…I am sure it will dot he same for others….

Furious debut from Kesa Getame. Precision drum programming and remorseless, uncompromising swing across four battle-ready tracks. It's music situated within dystopia, no doubt, but associations with only cataclysm and dread seem superficial. Vicious euphoria feels more appropriate, and it delivers this within a cutting-edge framework that manages to balance meticulous detail and raw expression whilst making it all sound effortless. Serious business.

Episode 4 of the Baroque Sunburst saga features Belgrade Ambassador Zarko Komar - aka Feloneezy - whose personal and intimate Uptempo production-style has previously found a home on Hyperdub.

"Axis to Axis" is a four-tracker that goes hard on resampling, blending Jungle and Juke with field recordings. The EP captures us in a hypnotic psychedelia, lubricated by moments of Dub and Jazz, with the unexpected fragments of vocals interrupting to drag the listener back to Earth.
