'Motor: Nighttime World 3' is widely regarded as one of the best albums of last year. We're proud to present you the third single 'Black Technician' on Music Man. It includes remixes from the Underground Resistance crew. There are two different versions for you to check out. The 'UR Mad Mike Remix' features founding UR member Mike Banks with edits by Skurge & Ray 7. On the 'DirtTech UR Remix' Mad Mike collaborated with Waajeed, who previously worked together with Slum Village, Roy Ayers and Radiohead. For the people that couldn't get a hold of the 'Nighttime World' 3LP too, the original is included as well and gets a full side.

May 20th 2013 will see Koreless release his debut solo EP 'Yugen' on Young Turks. Following on from previous releases '4D/MTI' and 'Lost In Tokyo', and his collaboration with Sampha for 'Short Stories', Welsh born producer Koreless has well and truly defined his own sound. Existing somewhere between soulful electronica and Eno-like ambience, the emotion filled soundscapes of Yugen give the listener a glimpse into the vast concepts imagined by Koreless and presented through his music, artwork and performance.
Remarkable in it's restraint, sophisticated despite it's simplicity, and almost entirely beatless, Yugen is a bold statement that deserves to be listened to and lost in.

Laurel Halo returns with 'Behind The Green Door', a stripped back, rhythmic, and sonically absorbing EP. While re-injecting rhythm as the central focus, Laurel's compositional senses of elevated flow and ambient detail remain intact, harking back to earlier releases like 'Hour Logic' on Hippos In Tanks, and the 'Spring' 12" under the King Felix alias. However, the rugged, minimal grooves on display point to a new direction and shift in sound; these four tracks are hardware-only affairs developed from her live set, built from a kit focused on dancefloor-ready rhythms, enveloping bass, psychedelic detail and lush harmony. On 'Behind The Green Door', Detroit Techno influence from her Michigan upbringing shines in tandem with stylistic nods towards contemporary UK club music; at times cold, lush, sinister and elated, the EP is a meditative rush of exploratory dancefloor electronics.

BLACKEST015 is the first vinyl pressing of music by Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. Two long form, minimal synth / dark ambient compositions with field recordings. Sourced from a box of cassettes found at a market in Port Moresby, it was thought to be recorded by a group of Christian missionaries prior to their unexplained disappearance during the 1980s. Originally released on tape (edition of 79) by Hospital Productions in 2012. Remastered for BEB by Matt Colton at Alchemy, London, January 2013. Limited edition of 500.

Formed in 2009, Damien Dubrovnik is the Danish electronic duo of Christian Stadsgaard (Sarah's Charity) and Loke Rahbek (Sexdrome, Var, Lust For Youth), founders of the Copenhagen based record label Posh Isolation. In their day job as label managers, Stadsgaard and Rahbek have been instrumental in establishing the city's prolific and exciting noise / punk community and outgrowing their humble beginnings in noise / industrial culture by attracting a cult / fanatical worldwide following of obsessive record hoarders, hipster bloggers, depressive punks and industrial maniacs. Working together as Damien Dubrovnik, they have published work across 2 LPs, a handful of sought after cassette releases, compilations and notched up numerous performances throughout Europe and Scandinavia. Their third LP, 'First Burning Attraction', draws explicitly from DIY minimal synth traditions and the canon of European Industrial music, resulting in the strongest manifestation of their sound so far. Consisting of 6 powerful and varied tracks, the album features more of the brooding synth parts and ominous bass throbs that dominated the highlights of previous LP 'Europa Dagbog - Europa Diary', yet it feels tenser and more atmospheric due to the application of new acoustic-based sound sources, primitive bass pulses and more disciplined dynamics. Rahbek's vocals, which were previously guttural and wild, appear more restrained here giving the tracks an alluring air of ambiguity and suggestiveness - no undirected aggression, but something more thoughtful and introspective instead. Mastered by Viktor Olsson and cut by Grammy Greg at Masterpiece studios in London, 2013.

Phosphor were formed in London in 2011, originally consisting of Nathalie Bruno on vocals and synth, Jake Ambridge on guitar,
the duo then later teamed up with Hélène de Thoury who now is on synth and backing vocals. Heavily influenced by the likes of
Depeche Mode, Sixth June, Fever Ray, HTRK, Linear Movement, Slowdive and Cocteau Twins, PHOSPHOR have written and
produced three EPs in the past few years. Self releasing- 'Blossom/Cold Hearted', a broody, shoe-gaze soaked EP produced by
Ryan Ambridge, 'To Never Love Again', self produced and reminiscent of Siouxsie & the Banshees and Cocteau Twins, and 'FEAR',
which was voted one of the top 20 EPs of 2012 by Burning Flame. Alongside the EP's, PHOSPHOR have also produced two slow and
haunting singles - 'Numb' and 'Influx'. Their debut album 'Youth And Immortality', released by Desire, was inspired by the confusion
and desolation of living in the city, constant battles with the troubled mind and an obsession with beautifully dark sounding music.

Which 'Dracula' Apron03 was on heavy rotation from the likes of Seth Troxler & Julio Bashmore.. Dont sleep/dream on this one, this limited 12" wont last long !!

Rosy Parlane is a long-term Touch artist from New Zealand. Previous support from The Wire, Dusted Magazine, Tiny Mixtapes and XLR8R. He's even found a fan in former Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist, John Frusciante, who previously wrote: "...it's such an incredible, beautiful energy inside of it that to me, it sounds like listening to a great pop record or a great rock record or a great classical record or whatever."

Dominique Guiot « L'oiseau de paradis » (1974)The composition of this piece was inspired by the rules of cinematic screenwriting. Indeed, the possibilities of an electroacoustic music studio are very similar to those found in the audiovisual field (particularly editing). Based on this similarity, I thought it would be interesting to compose a series of scenes, dramatic atmospheres and suddenly interrupted soundscapes. (D.G.)
Pierre Boeswillwald « Nuisances » (1971)Starting from microphone recordings of numerous sounds, the author chose not to systematically use the "best ones'. Therefore this construction always tried to refine itself whilst constantly being polluted by interferences which are nuisances. As in nature, man seeks to refine his environment but destroys it through his mistakes.
Rodolfo Caesar « Les deux saisons » (1975-1976) This piece results from instrumental improvisations: the first one with the Baschet brothers' glass organ, the second one with a frequency modulation device assembled by Bernard Dürr, who co-created the Trièdre Fertile (Fertile Triad) with Pierre Schaeffer. These were two input channels for a kind of "anecdotism" I was interested in. (R. C.)
Denis Smalley « Pentes » (1974)
The main features of the piece evoke vast landscapes, with their ascents and descents, hence the title, 'Pentes' (both French and Latin, meaning slopes, inclines, ascents). Most of the music was created by transforming instrumental sounds, but there are also synthesized sounds. However, the only recognizable sound source is the Northumbrian Pipes, whose drone is responsible for the slowly evolving harmonies out of which its haunting traditional melody appears. (D. S.)

The idea of the Traces series is to unearth from the GRM Archives short, forgotten or ignored pieces of music. This second volume, which gathers works prior to 1976, features the 'early' works of four composers who each went on to leave a unique trail in music. In addition to reflecting the extraordinary vitality of the musical experimentation of bygone times, Traces aims to reactivate the audibility to such pieces, some of which have never been released before.

Als Ellen im Jahr 2010 von zwei Choreographen und Tänzern gebeten wurde den Soundtrack zu ihrer Tanzperformance "Drama per Musica" zu komponieren, hatte sie bereits einige Jahre die Idee ein Musikstück zu schreiben. Kein konzeptioniertes Album sondern eine musikalische Reise, die sich fliessend verändert und unterschiedliche Stile vereint, so wie wir es auch in ihren DJ-Sets erleben. Das Stück wurde am 07. März 2011 unter der Leitung von Alexandre Roccoli und Sevérine Rième im Pariser Centre Pompidou anlässlich des Spectacles Vivants Festival aufgeführt, und die Musik legte sich danach für ein Jahr auf der Festplatte zu Ruhe, bis Ellen Lust bekam weiter daran zu arbeiten. Einige Passagen sind geblieben, vieles hat sich allerdings verändert, wurde erweitert und etwas Neues ist entstanden. "LISm" ist ein sehr persönliches, emotionales Werk und immer noch ein Soundtrack, der nun den Allien Film, der sich während des Stückes im Kopf des Zuhörers abspielt, untermalt.

BIOSFERA is the first electronic conceptual release from Oscar Mulero available from Detroit Underground. After twenty years on the road as international ambassador of techno, BIOSFERA marks a return home for Mulero.
BIOSFERA is comprised of six experimental soundscape compositions each inspired by a different Autonomous Community in the Principality of Asturias - the mythical, semi-mountainous region on Spain's north-west coast. The result is an exceptionally rich aural tapestry of lush spatial environments from one of the world's foremost techno producers.

Soft Focus is a collaboration of Jimi Tenor , Lary7 and Mia Theodoratus.
The album was recorded in NYC, at Lary7´s legendary all-analogue studio Plastikville. Lary7 is a collector of historical synthesizers and percussion instruments that are extensively used in the making of this album.
Mia Theodoratus lays down a hypnotic harp foundation on the compositions and Jimi Tenor caps them with exotic flute melodies. Soft Focus is evocative of the early Moondog albums. This record is for the hardcore avant-garde fans.

The Detroit Threads team is at the center of a community of vinyl enthusiasts that take pride in their individual approach to sound. This community struggles to keep their vision alive though the warmth of the medium that holds a special place in the heart, vinyl. As the electronic sound evolves new faces and styles emerge to challenge the establishment. Detroit Threads hears those voices and works to give them a platform.

The third release on Sonic Router Records is a self-titled ten track LP from the shady producer, Hav Lyfe. Honestly, it feels like the kind of project we started the label to house: a completely individual 32 minutes of roughly spun, improvised tracks that perfectly captures a flurry of Hav's creativity. 10 tracks long the album is composed out of his trademark raw, textural sketches that sometimes get strung over the top of brooding crunched out rhythms or end up finding an internal rhythm within the distorted loops and folds of sound.
"I don't have much," he admits when asked about his production processes. "I work on an old Pentium and record straight to this little mp3 player I've got. It ain't much, but it's cheap and sounds weird and looks great...;"
Whilst his (lack of) equipment might define how the audio sounds, there's a real honesty and directness present in the material - like on 'Civivic' where Hav draws out this time stretched drum loop that feels like it could go on forever, or on 'Dion2Cool' and 'Mond' where he just bluntly repeats the main phrase stoically, because he can. The Hav Lyfe album is a collection of these kinds of short expressions; a hypnotic headphone record that really manages to draw you in to his way of thinking.

And so Public Information splashes into 2013 with an almighty throb, pulse-tone generators at the ready. This is the debut record of malformed electronic-pop and modular fury from from Chicago two-piece Acteurs. From the chest-rattling kick of the opening track to the radon hailstorm of dub-techno epic "Freezing Fog" it's clear that the pair, Jeremy Lemos and Brian Case know their way around a mixing desk. Both have long, immaculate CVs with the cream of the U.S. alternative scene, and here they stretch the studio to its limit.
