After the huge success of the JEUDI Records Friends EP with Monte's 'True' the 5th release of JEUDI Records is welcoming yet another young gun from Hamburg House City. Sidney Charles is deep into the drivin, energetic jackin' house style. His two originals come with strong vocals, dominant basses and a dash of old school flavour. This diversified release is supported by two stylish remixes from Re.You and label crew member Doctor Dru. Re.You captures the Berlin deep technoish vibe with a heavy tombass and a rare hypnotic groove. Doctor Dru's remix is showing the melancholic and soulful feel of the vocals. Perfect for the late summer nights.

Franksen goes way back in the history of Frankfurt's electronic scene. Hosting Germany's eldest radio DJ Show, today's YOU FM Clubnight (formerly simply known as CLUBNIGHT), he represents electronic music culture 360° since 15 years. As a dj, producer and music journalist (for BEAT magazine) he boasts versatile skills and follows his unique approach on an endless groove journey.

Franksen appeared on deep and techhouse labels from Suara to Plastic City, WePlayMinimal, InCase Recordings, Salted Music and many more. Since 2009 he has released a string of fine tracks with collabo partners. Since 2012 it is his time to go solo. Franksen released on Amused Records, Kaato Music, Meleon, Diametral and more labels to come in 2013. Right now his next tracks are scheduled for the fresh year: on Circle Music and Mainakustik!

For AUDIOTHENTICA he delivers an EP full of slick grooves, whether in drum-driven techhouse fashion, with a breaky manner or his distinctly deep but driving touch. A fierce techno remix by his buddy Broombeck completes this EP of many true styles!

Its time for a new OFF Recordings music delivery, and this time we put Betoko, one of the most exciting names in the global scene, in charge. Mexican-born but based in London, this notorious musically trained producer unleashes all his melodic arsenal in two outstanding tracks for our delight.

This talented artist began working on "Im a Gin" 18 months ago in the renown Red Bus Recording Studios where George Michael, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Tina Turner, Jocelyn Brown and Imagination themselves have all recorded at and where he shapes his new productions today. The idea behind "Im a Gin" was to revive the authentic retro-funky Imagination vibe. The song contains elements of the song using the same stems from the original record; and all crafted in the same studio where Imagination originally created all of their tracks, same compressors, keyboards and console creating the highest sonic quality sound.

On the flipside, and following the same retro-funk spirit, we have "U Got 2"...With another killer clap disco groove and a synth bassline topped with sweet synth sounds and vocals that create an unforgettable trip. One for our most romantic groovers here, another one for the books!

As the famous Dutch expression goes: the monkey is ready to come out of the sleeve again! Lany Recordings' 'Apetunes Vol 1' is still lingering with us thanks to Larse's killer 'The More I Want' track, but we here at Lany HQ have already planned the follow-up.
Apetunes is of course the result of the strong Ghent-Dortmund connection consisting of Maxim Lany and Ante Perry, friends and dj colleagues for years. They have once again looked to their close friends to come up with some new tracks for the second edition of the 'Apetunes' series.
And boy have they provided! Lany label boss Maxim teamed up with partner Katorski to get to work on their trademark deep tech house sound, the result being 'Birdlove'. Keeping things in the Belgian side of the family is Loulou Players on the all-out disco house trip 'You Are Here'. Apetunes' regular Mahan hooked up with Flo Mrzdk on the floor bomb 'I See U Dancin', which WILL see you dancing. And rounding things off is newcomer Adam Berecki with his disco-infused 'Love Groove'.

Benn Finn, who was listening to records of Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles together with his father as a boy, and later discovered electronic music with friends at Berghain, Bar25 and Watergate, already spent some time actively on the Wheels of Steel. After founding his own label Finn Records, Benn is now cheating on it and releases 'Beautiful Instant' on Audio Safari.


'Beautiful Instant' is a chilled out Deephouse track that captures the late summer and thus keeps us warm for the winter. Benn put great emphasis on selecting high quality remixers for this EP. Beatamines sound is pushing things forward and still keeps the deep melodic touch. A little reminiscent of Oldschool House can be the remix by Boy Next Door and Hannes Fischer reduced the track to its essential elements and builds some relaxed atmospheric sounds to it.

"Charabia" will for kick asses and destroy some dancefloors with its enormous bassline, very catchy repeating vocals, A

Dabit Records returns with its fourth release this July, in the shape of 'Natural Message' by
Kisk, backed with a remix from Sarp Yilmaz.
The Dabit Records imprint was launched out of Milan in 2013, and although only onto its fourth
release, has already put out a single from unsung underground hero Alex Agore. Picking up support
along the way from the likes of DJ Sneak, Washerman, Diz and Norm Talley, an indication of the
label's attentive A&R approach and quality control. Here the label welcomes Giuseppe D'Alessandro
aka Kisk onto its roster, Giuseppe is the owner of the Apparel Music label and here he showcased his
infectious Jazz inflected house and techno style.
The release opens with the original version of title track 'Natural Message', kicking off in an ethereal
state with moody string melodies, weighty drums and a bubbling atmosphere. Things take off just
after the two-minute mark with jazzy, natural bass licks, organic sax hits and spoken word vocal
murmurs, resulting in a classy, understated house record.
Turkish producer Sarp Yilmaz steps up to rework 'Natural Message' to close the release, Yilmaz
brings the cosseting bass tones to the forefront, while swirling, psychedelic synth pads, penetrative
sub-bass and bright strings drive the melodic movement. The latter stages introduce additional
electric piano melodies; the end result is a delicately intricate house workout that packs a punch.

This is a story about two men from Italy who are about to set the Electronic Music scene on fire. They gave themselves the funny name "The Deepshakerz" and their tracks get supported by all the big names in the game. We welcome The Deepshakerz for their NEW MIND E.P. on Kittball.

Welcome back Daniel Dexter! Our homeboy and label companion returns to the Mother
family with a fresh release right after dropping a glorious first full-length album on
Steve Bug's Poker Flat Recordings. His second E.P. is called 'Deep In Your Heart' and
also includes remixes from Dirtybird protégée Justin Jay out of Los Angeles and from
Berlin's Show-B who just released a splendid E.P. on Munich's Compost Black imprint.


A1. Deep In Your Heart (Original Mix)
- Deep In Your Heart' starts off in an almost classic NYC house fashion with a driving,
straightforward beat, warm synth pads and pumping organ chords. The female vocal
hook brings you right back to the hay days of the house nation underground, Daniel
cuts it up to the point of sheer ecstasy. Followed by a long break and perfect rebuild
the second part is far from a stale déja-vu. All sorts of spacy bleeping sounds make
the end of the track sound like it dropped down from another planet.


A2. Deep In Your Heart (JUSTIN JAY Remix)
Woha, this one's all about heavy bassline attitude and you gotta love the Californian
young gun for it. It's an entire different interpretation with higher pitched vocals,
beautiful off-beat claps and a bold bassline that is sending shivers to the stomach. The
breakdown smoothly blends into a dubby half-time break. JUSTIN JAY takes his time
before exploding into the massive beat again, this time sending all the hands in the
air.


B1. Jack The Knife (Original Mix)
- Jack The Knife' is a jack in the box. It's finest Jackin' House that tickles your
eardrums from the first second on, containing all the elements of a real dance floor
smasher. The organ stabs used for the lead melody start to fade in right away and
once they fully open up it's party time from here on! The track's a straight forward
affair with a pumping beat, massive kick and snappy claps that make sure that things
keep in motion. - Jack The Knife' fit's snug into very DJ's pocket and has all the
potential of becoming a secret weapon.

The third Remix version that can be in ''B2'' was produced by KATA MERCADO, Its version of the track in this vinyl have an interpretation and sound more soft and melodic.
She is a girl who is making inroads in the Industrial Techno scene.

Taking time off from managing her own label T-Bet Records and playing live as one half of celebrated duo Diamond Dog, she returns to Memento with another personal ep. "Conception Vessel"'s classy concept is feminine yet very strong in its spiraling synth melodies; the steady beat underlines graceful loopy atmospherics and rhythms. Filters and efx make it a very playful and disco-y number, full of almost subliminal changes and nuances. Second track "Respire"'s shady vocals and pad chords are inspired by her native Sardinia: a land of contrasts, where delicate landscapes and beautiful shores are matched by the roughest inland. It's always a thrill to welcome back one of the most unique and successful acts in our roster. Berlin based Cord and Sacha, duo also known as Robosonic, have been crafting hip hop and soul infused house jams for OFF Recordings in the last couple of years. While staying true to themselves in keeping an undogmatic approach to club music, this sound has become a solid parameter in their energetic DJ performances. We are happy to bring them back with an EP showcasing all of this magic in 3 amazingly engineered tracks.

On this release with the lucky golden era catalogue number - 93', Robosonic's organic blend of classy house music and classic hiphop goes next level again: New York rap legend Masta Ace, originally part of the famed Juice Crew in the mid-80s (with Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane among others!), known for collaborations with artists such as MF Doom, influencing rappers like Eminem, and still now known as one of the realest rappers alive, made a teenage dream come true for Cord when he recorded an original feature part and hook for Robosonic on top of their soulful "Good Old Feel"! A radio cut, boasting the full vocal performance by Masta Ace, is not included in this 3-tracker, but rather saved up for the upcoming Robosonic album.

'Dedicated' builds on a vinyl from Sacha's collection - this dirty jacking track is a dancefloor bomb! Uncompromisingly fun to play and dance to, it features a catchy sax lick and hip hop vocal cuts, toying with ghetto snare rolls and punchy drums. A nasty piece of house music that's hard to forget.

Finally, 'Life Is Like' completes this journey into the golden age of hip hop. Inspired by one of the greatest producers of this era, sample workout and vocal cuts mix perfectly with drum machine beats and bass-heavy drops. There's even a crafty shout out to Big L, who used to speak with criminal slang, until the sad day he was shot...Celebrate life before it's over!

Monocraft was born in Debrecen, Hungary. He came from the underground techno scene and started Djing and buying vinyls in 1999. He received lots of inspirations and energy from artists like: The Advent, Steve Stoll, Plastikman, La Monde, Oliver Ho, Jeff Mills, Surgeon, James Ruskin, Adam Beyer or Marco Carola.

At this time he was playing in a little club from week to week where he could show his unique sound. After many successful years he received great deal of invitations to different clubs and events in Hungary. For a time he made a little detour during these years into the world of faster and harder techno but in 2006 he returned to his real roots. At the end of 2009 he started to work on his own tracks and got his first release in January 2010 with Damolh33, and right than landed on the Top 100 Minimal Downloads at Beatport. Since then he had releases at labels like Android Muziq, Phobiq, Silent Steps, Darknet, Elektrax and his works are played by big names like Dave Clarke, Luke Slater or Richie Hawtin.

His first full length album on ANdroid Muziq is a combination of minimalistic techno with strong basslines, pounding grooves and dark impressions.

Sidney Charles has built himself an impressive discography in the last couple of years and he makes his EP debut here at OFF with 2 outstanding singles. The prolific Hamburg native brings rhythm to life with a 909 rendition to jackin house in "Jack On The Rocks", it's all about the classic vibe and the unmistakable shuffle in this one, while we bring Berlin's tech master Santé (Desolat/8Bit) to the remix decks to turn the track into a deeper bass-driven journey with added sax and a groove that will sure get them moving . Second track is 'Soul Station', also another one for the dancefloor, more signature classic drums, this time with a groovy phat bassline and the ever-so-loved presence of a preacher vocal that sure does the trick...

Nearly a year after Part 5 Butch & Amir found new friends and grew their family to be ready for Part 6. And again this is not about well established artists but a platform to support fantastic newcomers and give them a possibility to showcase their sounds...

Bavaria based label Treibjagd-Records strikes again with its fourth installment featuring Patrick Kunkel (Cocoon Records) & Sascha Barth. "The Door" is a smooth Tech House track, including an earsoothing female vocal sample. This gets backed by remixes from label owner Ill-Boy Phil, DJoker with a little techno-ish touch and the brainfreezing subbass of the Joseph Disco Remix. Another release not to miss from this new and uprising label.

The 10. Gold release will be on black gold only and finally putting 2 future classics out on vinyl. Rodriguez Jr.'s amazing alternative remix for Pedro Mercado & Karada's 'behind the sun' was hammered on ibiza during the whole summer and looks like unbreakable. Pizeta's sure floorfiller 'Klezmer' definitely puts a smile on everybody's faces and you can hear the whole sing along with it immediately.

Following a five-year hiatus the #Stockholm based label, Finest Blend makes its return in March. With previous releases from the likes of Orlando Voorn, Shawn Rudiman, Terence Dixon and label head, Kenny Black it became synonymous with hi-tech grooves, breaking barriers, crossing genres and developing new ones. For its re-launch Finest Blend turns to Santiago Salazar with three tracks of his characteristic house / techno sound.

Santiago Salazar, otherwise known as DJ S2 started DJing in the early '90s inspired by mixtapes his brother was bringing back from LA's gay underground scene. After moving to Detroit, Santiago began his musical training with non other than UR's Mike Banks, going on to mix and edit several UR releases, most notably remixing the mighty 'Return of the Dragons' and DJ Rolando's 'Aguila'. Santiago released his own tracks under monikers like Aztech Sol and Seldom Seen and became a core member of the Los Hermanos and Galaxy 2 Galaxy live bands, using his DJ skills to control the flow and intensity of the live performances. Alongside long time friend Esteban Adame, Santiago formed ICAN (short for Mexican) and has released highly acclaimed tracks for the label as well as Carl Craig's Planet E.

His new EP for Finest Blend opens with the upbeat 'Galactic Stomp' full of shimmering flourishes and a tough bassline, before the funked-up shuffle of 'The Twang' makes its hit, ending with the spacey electronics of '3000 Northend'.

For their 100th release SCI+TEC are excited to present something very special...

Rolling with a lucid low-end groove and Asia Argento's sultry purring sermon, this rich, bulbous bass joint is coded with the intricate attention to detail Dubfire has long since been associated with. Dynamically deep but sonically hulking, this is Dubfire at his darkest and most demonstrative. And it comes with a unique story that befits such an exceptional release...

Several years ago Ali Naderzad, an old college friend of Dubfire's, moved to Paris, became a film critic and befriended critically acclaimed writer, director and actress Asia Argento. Famed for pushing herself creatively in a myriad fields - from writing novels to modelling - her involvement and passion for music led to an album. Released last year on Nuun Music, Total Entropy was penned with scene-shaping Italian producer and musician the.art.of.FY (Michele Pauli). When he heard 'Come', Ali Naderzad instantly thought of his old friend for a remix project. 

'I met Asia at the Cannes Festival in 2013,' says Naderzad. 'I heard her album and got hooked immediately.  The music has a lot in common with Dubfire's deep and dark sound and I thought of him immediately for a reboot of "Come." It was that eureka moment, I guess!'

He instantly joined the dots between Dubfire, Asia and producer Pauli and the talented trio knew they had something special on their hands: Pauli's original stark sonic bedrock, Asia's sensuous spoken words and Dubfire's ability to inject his twisted sonic signature while paying complete respect to the original ensured this remix of 'Come' would smash in all directions.

With such strong connections and such a wealth of creativity behind it, SCI+TEC knew it would be the perfect record to highlight their centennial release. Celebrations don't get deeper or more discerning than this.

Almighty is an intelligent and fun tribal tech-house track from swedish producer Hakan Ludvigson and offers complex rhythms and a quirky voice.Per Hammar (Great Stuff Recordings) adds a huge mainroom house remix tothe pack - real chart-topping material! On the A side, Leftwing and Kody have called up German Brigante to bring his infectious dancefloor grooves to this Lost Records latest release. Their Spanish hombre has released music on some impressive labels over the last few years, and has been on the Lost A&R radar for while now. Kimbo sees German stepp up with a characteristic tech house vibe. This bassline heavy groove fits in nicely with some hidden vocal samples and an unnerving synth effect, on top of a big drop. The spaced out drum patterns throughout will have the dancefloor fixated on their feet. On a remix tip is one of Brigante's friends and countryman, Cuartero. He reworks the original with his trademarked techno tremors, taking the track further underground with deeper hooks where the method on the raw synths requires no special effects. Unalloyed rare energy throughout which will work up a mysterious groove on any dancefloor.

Flipping to the AA side, straight off the bat Hector Couto kicks off with the title track "I Believe", a hypnotic and infectious number armed to the teeth with precise hi-hats and brooding basslines. "I Believe" cements Hector Couto's production to an ever evolving sound while setting the stage perfectly for the follow up track "Knight Riders". Built on similar foundations to "I Believe", "Knight Riders" introduces a rich soundscape, playing deep and shadowy attributes against a field of succinct vocals and lead synth lines.

Following on from last year's colossal success, Hungarian producer Jay Lumen is set to drop a two track EP on the Kittball imprint this February.

Jay Lumen has been making a serious dent in the Beatport Overall Charts in recent years by making a habit out of recurring Top 10 chart appearances. The talented producer has also achieved a slew of number ones within the Tech House and Techno categories such as with 'The Drummer', 'Get Ya!' as well as his massive remix of Kevin Saunderson's 'The Sound'. Furthermore with only a month into 2014 Lumen has already seen 'Say What' and 'Nobody' achieving number 5 and 7 positions in the Tech House charts respectively, an early forecast of another thriving year for the artist.

Continuing this momentum into February, Jay Lumen's upcoming release on Kittball is one which will undoubtedly follow suit. 'Find Myself' is a percussive beast complete with drum rolls and a punchy hook to forge a track geared for that peak time dancefloor frenzy. On the other hand 'Radio Ready' provides a more debauched affair, using a concoction of pulsing bass, whirring synths and remorseless build ups which continuously fuel the intensity of this unbelievably sinister cut.

Crime Scene: 4 males, seated round a table. Looks like they used to be
one of those famous boy bands. Designer haircuts, lots of bling. Too
much bling for workers earning dimes and dollars in a donut shack.
Must've had some sort of meeting going on after hours. Scribbled notes
on the table describe a few attempts to make some of that EDM crap kids
are listening to these days (Not like the real music when I was
young.). IDs still in their pockets give names as Dave Tarrida,
JoeFarr, Paul Birken, and Sunil Sharpe. All four victims still seated,
appear to have suffered similar type of acid attack while restrained.
All victims were employees at this dive working various shifts serving
coffee and donuts. Store manager is some guy named Axel..has a few
joints around town, real small potato type places. Other poorly
scribbled notes show some dance moves/choreography they were trying to
sort out for a show or fundraiser, but I see multiple doctor notes
stating no excessive/strenuous movements due to age. Poor bastards,
they just couldn't give up the dream. Following footsteps towards back
door which is open. Another few pages of notes laying here too. Looks
like these boys owed someone some money and someone came to collect.

Robin Kampschoer started to experiment with composing music using drum machines, synthesizers, and other analogue equipment in 1998. In 2000, this resulted in performing live acts of which he is now recognised for. Today, while combining hardware of the past with digital tools of today, he has been playing around the world for over a decade. Robin is known for a distinctive music style, which varies between funky and deep Detroit- techno and minimalistic dub.

After celebrating the 5th birthday from Skryptom with the huge package we continue with skryptom 14. We want to develop a little different way of doing. For each release will propose orginal music from the skryptom artists plus a guest remixer. To start in that new direction, Pierre Delort and Remy Maurin deliver 2 different killer tracks. The first one is a very deep Detroit techno track with beautiful pads who make us flying very high and dance like robots. The second one is a real hot bass techno with a little electro deep feeling. The Hacker himself remixed that second track and we think that his remix is really one of the best tracks we've heard from him for a long time, so we are very lucky. Of course he showed his electro techno face and pushes the dance floor feeling to his paroxysm ....
