All City presents 'Amada'; 13 exclusive tracks (plus one bonus in the form of a 7 inch flexi disc) from a selection of a mix of interesting underground producers from around the globe.
Over the last few years Mamiko Motto has built a reputation searching and unearthing some of tomorrows best new production talent via her Hepcat show on NTS Radio and through work with Dutch label Kindred Spirits, recording as part of Wednesday Nite and some jet set DJ-ing, she has been mobile enough with a large Rolodex of contacts to hassle and compile the tracks for "Amada". The record takes flight with the dreamy 'Take It Back' by NY's hotly tipped Obey City. The artist formerly known as Kasrave, now Young Mind, follows with 'Jennifer' and we hit the dancefloor with Bobby's 'Tame The Shrew'. Free-form soulstress Georgia Anne Muldrew gives us a gospel diversion with 'Git Thee', and All City favourite Stones Throw's James Pants' comes with his unique brand of psychedelic-electro-wave on 'Ritual Magick'. Modern hip hop beats from Silkersoft and Darq E Freaker deliver testosterone thrust while Fatima Yamaha's pogo pumping 'AAA' ignites a rythmical groove. The young SCNTST comes with the hypnotic and pounding 'For Forest Play Only', before Mweslee's second outing on the label with 'Una 41 (In Memoriam)'. DZ and Ruckazoid drop a lo-fi heartbreaker with 'Shoulda Coulda'. Austrian Korg wizard Dorian Concept joins to bid a melancholic farewell on 'Empty Everything (But you)' and American Men's Claude Speeed closes out the LP with 'Crushed Rave'. A variety of beats, tempos and styles is completed with a bonus track on a 7 inch flexi disk from the mysterious GMCFOSHO.

Les Deux Fils De Pute: "Cirque Royal" (TAHA Records).

Underground Belgian Hip Hop leaders Smimooz & Sozyone Gonzalez are back with the second volume of "Les Deux Fils De Pute", these guys, who formed the first Indie Rap Band in Belgium: "De Puta Madre", are known for their "nothin' to f*ck with" attitude. All the way thru the album they criticize hard the world that surrounds them, especially the world of music. Here, with the help of DJ Grazzhoppa in a few tracks, this vinyl is one of the best things belgian hip hop ever made.

The TENTH volume in the expansive drum loop series. Mr Paul Nice is known as a world premier break digger - and here's the proof. Nothing but raw drum loops here - no synthetics! Lifted from some of the rarest vinyl available then cleaned and looped nicely, this is great for your sampler and jugglers alike.

Torus' Feeel comes pressed on b/w marbled 7" vinyl with a full colour botantical themed sleeve designed by the artist himself. Radio support already on Rinse FM, NTS Live, Resonance FM and RTE. Press coverage confirmed in DJ Mag (8/10 review) and on Truants Blog (guest mix and interview).

Having launched our record label with his debut EP, the work of the young Dutch producer Torus, aka Joeri Woudstra, is something that's understandably quite close to our heart. He's someone we've fully grown alongside and his second EP proper, Feeel, follows March's name-your-price Yard Sale EP in introducing a bit more of a club ready edge into his music - though he proves to still be as pensive and delicate as ever on tracks like 'Backyard', 'Feeel' and 'Untitled'.

"To me this EP is an in-depth exploration into the sound that had emerged from the Torus EP," Woudstra offers of the project. "I'd been trying to get as much contrast as possible between the first and the last song without losing the idea of the EP as a whole."
"When I make music I like to work with a feeling or a vibe rather than scoring a specific moment I've experienced in life," he continues. "Basically, I'd been trying to turn these vibes into songs using mostly self-made sounds so that they'd become as personal as possible. The songs are really just translations from emotion to sound - which is also the reason for the title - I felt like I could really expose myself through these songs."
Praise for Torus' s/t debut EP:
"Something like hollowed-out, drugged-up skweee" - Resident Advisor "Beautiful, glacial hip-hop" - The Quietus " highly individual and accomplished debut" - Drowned In Sound "The definition of concision" - FACT "Killer record." - Mixmag "Pretty lush!" - Huw Stephens // BBC Radio 1 "Like a studio session between Vladislav Delay and J Dillla" - The Veal Pen

DJ FORMAT and PHILL MOST CHILL have joined forces to bring you THE FOREMOST, an album of 10 raw Hip Hop tracks varying in style, tempo & lyrical content. DJ Format first acheived mainstream recognition with his debut album Music For The Mature B-Boy back in 2003. He toured the UK and Europe with Jurassic 5 and the release of his second album, 2005's If You Can't Join 'Em...Beat 'Em, saw his combined sales reach over 60,000 units. Format's Fabric Live 27 mix in 2006 was the fastest selling CD in the series at that time. In 2012, Format released his third solo album Statement Of Intent which sold extremely well by todays standards, proving that Format's fanbase is still hungry for his music. Phill Most Chill is a Philadelphia-based MC, DJ, record collector, illustrator & journalist and has been an active contributor to Hip Hop culture since the early '80s, most notably with his 'World of Beats' column for Rap Sheet magazine in the early '90s. Phill's independant 12" releases regularly change hands for hundreds of pounds and his reputation continues to grow as he refuses compromise his old school B-Boy mentality.

The album delivers several explosive 'Fast Rap' songs and right from the start Phill Most demonstrates his unparalleled ability to destroy all competition at up to 138bpm whilst still remaining effortlessly funky. Then in the next breath he is taking you on a beat diggin' road trip with him, or recalling fond memories of an old flame in what he describes in BEVERLY as "a love song you can dance to". ANGRY BIRDS isn't about playing games, it's all about Phill Most delivering clever bird metaphors over a vicious beat. He then shows his versatility again on WORK SONG, a humourous 'work trials and tribulations' type of song that everyone will instantly relate to. Guest vocals come from OXYGEN (Soundsci, Sputnik Brown) and EMSKEE (The Good People) on the old school-tinged TRIPLE THREAT MC's. The socially conscious TAKE A STAND sees Phill Most address his experience as a black man living in America in 2013. Format's trademark drum-heavy production is present throughout the album, with intricate samples cut & scratched to perfectly complement each song.

In the Spring of 2012 Yot teamed up with Scottish born vocalist Soom T (Renegade Masters). The product of this recording session The first track on Yot 4; the moody epic funk shuffle beat banger 'The Cure'. Rising synths, tough beats and heaps of squelch all pushed up against Soom T's unmistakable flow. A sure shot was born.

As well as vocal and instrumental versions of 'The Cure' Yot 4 features the grinding slow tempo burner 'Day Won' and hypnotic ballad 'G.I.M.P'. To record the EP the core four piece signed up a fifth member, multi-instrumentalist Markus Pyorala. It follows up last years 'Bitch Bender', which Mixmag made Album of the Month, and drops on Harmonia and Losonofono.

High Explosives Vol. 1' is the vinyl debut by True Masterz aka JMega The God, Mighawd & Dj Grazzhoppa. This compiles 14 of the strongest tracks of the first 3 albums (Tree Of Life, The Almighty Mixtape, The First Atom). Soundwise this release will gratify fans of the golden era sample based beat tradition stuffed with precise scratches. Lyrically the MC's are walking the way of truth seekers in this world full of betray, corruption and conspiracies.

For fans of Mobb Deep, Groupe Home, Non Phixion, Jedi Mind Tricks and the east coast underground scene of the 90's.

The LP is limited to 300 copies and comes in a stickered sleeve!

'Purple Dreams' was created in late September 2011, originally as a free download and warm up to Simiah's debut LP, 'Lost in Time'.

Around this time Simiah was hanging out with the multi-talented musician named Ernest Herb. The two were regularly jamming, performing live shows and recording one-take tracks together in an old air craft hanger at the back of a pub in Milton Keynes. This is where the song 'Everywhere' was created. Ernest Herb then called in his friend The Fat Controller to jam with the two of them and add some ill guitar to some of the songs. After recording track after track together, Simiah then narrowed the track list down to his favourite cuts. For the vinyl version of the project he added in a bonus beat, which was a beat made in the summer of 2013. We then called in Mr Brown to re-master the project for vinyl.

The original artwork design was done by Skev, one of Simiah's best friends. Then Bee aka Mr Brown (the man behind most of the KU artwork) arranged the text and finessed the layout.

supported by: Ernesto Ferreyra, The Mole, Akufen, Vincent Lemieux,..Inspired by classic Disco and Electro, DKMD have already produced several Dance music tracks, using old and new technology in order to come up with a unique sound.

Mon Amie De'Troit is the first single from acclaimed Hip Hop producer Tall Black Guy's debut album. Tall Black Guy has quickly established himself as one of the most talked about producers in hip hop. With fans including Gilles Peterson, Anthony Valadez and Robert Glasper (TBG won Glasper's official remix competition in 2012) his album '8 Miles To Moenart' is the subject of huge anticipation.

The single itself features a sublime vocal performance from Ozay Moore (formerly known as Othello of hip hop crew Lightheaded). The track deals with the subject matter of the full album - the city of Detroit. Over a soulful hip hop beat, Ozay's low slung raps and subtle sung vocals paint an evocative picture of his hometown

Representing Queens, NY the hip-hop/soul artist Dynasty has loads of big names to be measured with but it seems like just that heritage makes the difference. Collaborations with Talib Kweli, with whom she recorded the Track "Stay Shinin" including a Video for her current Album "A Star In Life´s Clothing", and legendary DJ Premier from Gang Starr who gave her the ultimate co-sign by producing "Epic" including a 500.000 click Youtube Video & also the track "Street Music" fpr her album, confirm her strive of becoming a big Hip-Hop artist like her fellow Queens Representers.

Numerous cyphers and battles formed her unique style and especially in competition with other rappers, predominantly male, Dynasty learned to be on point with her rhyming. This natural way of rapping is clearly Dynasty´s advantage. She has lit up stages opening for Erykah Badu, The Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and more, nevertheless, her slick and honest lyrics speak for themselves: Authentic and real hip-hop mixed with beast-mode microphone skills! One can certainly see that in 2013, the DREAMPUSHER that we know as Ya Girl D.Y. is reaching the heights that she envisioned as a kid. With a seven-city Dreampusher Tour in Germany, an East Coast tour (US) and another European tour at the end of the year...there is absolutely no denying this star.

Blitz The Ambassador presents The Warm Up EP - a 7-track EP that precedes his forthcoming LP Afropolitan Dreams, slated to drop early 2014.

Three superb re-edits from Karim, the man destined to become the new Todd Terje. 'All the joy that you bring' is everything that is good about disco with none of the cheese. Flip then for the pure soul and heavy funk of Lou Johnson's 'The Beat. Then to round off perfectly we've got a great instrumental of Grand Master Flash's classic 'The Message' This is a huge release!

2009, Oddateee released Halfway Homeless, seen by himself as a testament of the past and a prophetic sign... However if his was the homeless he described in his album, from 2009 he lived his life and his music as a heavenly hobo, with more than 120 gigs in three years. A series of tours as many trips and meetings, which allowed to the rapper from the Bronx to share the road and the stage with myths as Rhazel, KRS-One, Dälek, Subtitle, Ben Sharpa, Bleubird, K-the-I , ou Solilaquist of Sound.
It was during his frequent trips to New York, that Oddateee will begin to compose in secret his third album, as a record of life and a testimony of the schizophrenic American-European period. Symbol of these crossovers, he collaborates with different producers. As well as Bill Brooks and the Octopus of Dälek, Oddateee will also make participate Carbon Copies (Picore), Bit Tuner (Swiss), and the famous New-Yorker DJ: DJ JS1. For the featuring are participating MC Skalla and Aaron Turner
