Pressed On Green Vinyl! Housed In An 8-Gauge Crystal Clear Custom Plastic Jacket! 'Jump Around' is an impossibly infectious and catchy single. By now you'd be hard pressed to find a music fan of any genre not familiar with House of Pain or their smash hit. The song has been a main stay in arenas for the past 20+ years. Released on Tommy Boy Records and produced by Muggs (who had just masterminded Cypress Hill's groundbreaking debut) 'Jump Around' has a beat that is just undeniable. Made up of part Chubby Checker, rare Soul breaks and a hint of B-Boy classic Wild Style, Muggs crafted what would go down as one of the best beats of that year. Everlast was able to match the beats intensity with his gruff voice , and countless quotable lines. The beat, the raps, the hook, it was all there. B-Boys and Punk Rockers alike gravitated towards the song, it was everywhere, even before the tidal wave of attention the cut received on MTV. So what do you do when you have a song this big and need a remix - you get super Producer Pete Rock. By '92 Pete Rock's legend had grown to being one of the top producers and remixers in the game. A year prior he had astonished rap fans with his reworking of Public Enemy's 'Shut'em Down' with a pan/horn effect that was so ahead of its time. Known as the 'Blood Stain' mix, Pete's remix for 'Jump Around' is just as heralded as the original, which is no easy task. Going down as one of the greatest remixes in Hip Hop history, this exclusive 12' is bring the best of both worlds, available on limited Green Vinyl as a testament to the group's Irish Heritage.

The UK producer is joined by some famous friends on a surprising journey. TIP!
Watch The Ants, Paul White's forthcoming EP, is sure to further solidify his reputation as one of the most innovative producers in hip-hop and beyond. The South Londoner is joined by the motley crew of Trim, Sean Price, Homeboy Sandman and rap superstar-in-waiting Danny Brown, who recruited Paul to produce nearly half his forthcoming album Old and cited him as 'my fav producer to work with'.

First single Street Lights features Danny Brown, whose vivid portrait of a Detroit blighted by poverty and neglect is a perfect foil to White's pounding war drums, strings and spectral choir. Trim, the ex-Roll Deep member and James Blake collaborator, invites you to Get Your Head Round This. He weds his unique delivery and caustic punchlines to a beat which shows that while other producers flock to the trap, Paul White heads to the toy shop. New York heavyweight Sean Price offers grim threats over the exotic instrumentation of Slugs Don't Hug before rap's most likeable lyricist, Homeboy Sandman - who featured on Paul's last full-length, Rapping With Paul White - lets in a little light on Find A Way. His melodic, contemplative wordplay over a bassline groove and psyched-out washes of reverb should allay any doubts that hip-hop ain't what it used to be, while serving as a teaser for his Paul White-produced EP due on Stones Throw this year.

Though it boasts an enviable roster of MCs, Watch The Ants also contains plenty for fans of White's instrumental work. Alongside the rappers, familiar names like Roland, Moog and Korg crop up throughout. They're joined by an array of more surprising instruments such as finger cymbals, conga, and kzink kzink, all of which White plays himself - and see if you can spot his vocals. He can still make a killer beat, but on Watch The Ants Paul White hints at forthcoming explorations of krautrock, new-wave and psych. Minus, Divining Rod and Seagull Conscience are hard to categorise, existing in intriguing sound worlds of their own. They demonstrate perfectly why his talents are in demand from musicians beyond hip-hop circles - as illustrated by So Far Away, his track with Charli XCX, which Pitchfork called 'a clear highlight' of her Best New Music-earning album True Romance.

Paul White followed his cult-classic debut, The Strange Dreams Of Paul White, with Paul White And The Purple Brain in 2010, unleashing his idiosyncratic blend of prog and psych with a beats sensibility into the world, and 2011's Rapping With Paul White showed off his music's easy affinity with rap. Watch The Ants unites all of those strands with a more expansive and ambitious approach. Brimming with new ideas, Watch The Ants may showcase Paul White's well-documented hip-hop chops to perfection, but it also positions him on the cusp of an exciting new musical phase.

AE Productions is proud to present Ease Back by Jon Doe & DJ Jazz. This is the first adventure into the realms of issuing previously released material for AE Productions and we've started with a gem from the catalogue of legendary Philly DJ/Producer DJ Jazz. This is from the only 12' from Jon Doe originally released back in 1993 and almost impossible to find - until now, presented on Limited Edition clear vinyl 7' with the Instrumental on the flip for good measure.
Jon Doe A.K.A Culture is an MC from Philadelphia, PA and was once scouted for deals by Def Jam, Sony and Ruff House Records and has done dates with Jazzy Jeff. He is a member of The Untouchable Kings (TUK), a graffiti/drug crew that operated on 3rd n Diamond in the late 80s and early 90s, that grossed nearly a million dollars a month according to government reports. He is also a legendary graffiti writer, known as DENSKE and has been featured in numerous magazines such as 12 oz. Prophets, and videos such as On the Go and the world wide released documentary INFAMY. He is a contemporary of Steve Powers (ESPO) and appeared in the book "The Art of Getting Over". He has sold paintings in galleries in NY and Philadelphia and was an illustrator at the Source. Unfortunately, the call of the street life has derailed him from fulfilling his full potential, to which he is now dedicated as the single father of 5 year old girl. He still feels that the best is yet to come.
DJ Jazz is best known for producing the classic golden age albums Too Brown - Takin' No Shorts and Robbie B & DJ Jazz - Comin' Correct and needs no introduction to most fans of 80's and 90's Hip Hop. He has recorded for labels such as Ruff House, Schoolly-D Records, RBA Records and Vibe Records and has worked with Grand Puba, Bahamadia, Fishbone and remixed 'Boom Shake the Room' for Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince which received a Gold single and a Platinum Album. He also had a radio show called The Rap Digest on WDAS. He's still in the music industry and is now CEO of Tha Label Records and is still producing tracks to the same high standard that he's been doing since the 80's featuring artists such as Sadat X, Black Thought, Malik B, Pauly Yams, Saibear and Craig G.

Py - Swimming Slow Following the beautiful 'Polyethers' released in Autumn 2013, Py returns with a stunning new single 'Swimming Slow', via Champion Records on the 10th March. Absorbing and passionate, 'Swimming Slow' is a beautifully poised track, burning slowly and heavy with remarkable power.

Py's trademark, soul-rich voice is fully immersive as her distinctive tones twist and turn, intertwining with luscious melodies and dreamy electronics. A recognized talent who has recently worked with the likes of Maya Jane Coles to Two Inch Punch and Claude Von Stroke, remixes for Py's 'Swimming Slow' come from Citizen, Sweater Beats, Gang Colours and Throwing Snow.

Demonstrating the full ability of her unique voice, Py will also record piano, stripped back versions of 'Swimming Slow' at west London's legendary Metropolis Studios, which has seen the likes of Paul McCartney and Madonna grace their studios, to allow her fast-growing fanbase to manipulate Py's voice and beats for their own creative productions.

In a year which has seen the London-based singer record at the prestigious Red Bull Studios, work with an array of talented producers from George FitzGerald to Lapalux and Throwing Snow on her debut mixtape, support the likes of Fenech-Soler and MAUSI on tour and gather support from the likes of Zane Lowe at BBC Radio 1 as well as appearances on Throwing Snow's debut album for Houndstooth and the forthcoming Supreme Cuts album, Py's latest effort is her best yet. Set to accelerate her burgeoning reputation as a creative and forward-thinking vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, 'Swimming Slow' will be the catalyst for the rest of the world to sit up and take notice of Py in 2014.

New label from the Submerge / UR umwelt... Detroit DJ, Producer, MC, ZHAO-SKI is proud to present his first vinyl release via Submerge. As part of the track-e-zoid production team and the ''keep it classic'' movement, Zhao-ski has been involved in the production of some of your favorite hip hop songs from Detroit. Here is solo ep with 6 laidback tracks. No Vocals! Hipnotech style!.

Housed in a full colour outer sleeve, this trio of 7 inch singles packs in four brand new songs from Solo Banton, ever powerful in his hard-hitting delivery. His lyrics are grounded by a set of fresh riddims from Dubkasm who pay their respects to the producers who brought us 90's Yard style through labels such as the mighty Xterminator and Two Friends. The release kicks off with the atmospheric Listen to Me Dream with its dusty beats and tense synths. A journey into Solo's inner thoughts and visions, it is followed by a dub that throws them into a void, stripping the piece to its core in a raw reflection of the original. 'Can't Stop This' is a dancefloor stormer. Guaranteed to gain a forward in any session, this one drops heavy as lead on a sound system. Solo explodes into militant Rasta word-sound over a tough re-lick of the One Man One Vote riddim. The counteraction on side B is a clear-cut reworking with hints of Dubkasm's trademark 'depth charge' reverbs. On disc three, Solo meets head to head with Bristol grime MC Buggsy for the epic 'My Music', where the two heavyweights link in the studio for the first time, demanding respect for their musical independence. On the flipside is the weighty 'Never Let I Down' with its rough-cut drums and percussive steel pan, closing the set in rootical style.

Advance red vinyl copies in a hand stamped sleeve (but with full color labels). Strictly limited (only 150). 14 tracks from reggae-flavored down tempo and hip hop to Latin styled club music. RED (FREDDIE CRUGER) ASTAIRE comes correct with another winner. Don't sleep on this. Full release in March. HEADZ RAP NUJAZZ

From the man who once compared EFUNK The Mixtape to a "triple-breasted female terminator from the future" comes Love My Life, retro-future pop gold served with cheese on top. Stephan Armleder aka The Genevan Heathen, who has appeared on Soul Clap Records before with his cover of Egyptian Lover's The Alzeby Inn, is a frenzy of word play, cult status and dapper dress. Here he invites background vocalist Amy Douglas and takes us out for a day in the Heathen life:

In The Heathens words:

"It's all in the title. It's about loving your life, loving yourself, loving the people who matter to you. It's like a little postcard from heaven. I wrote this song under the influence of the most amazing woman I have ever met - a woman who taught me how to enjoy the good times and learn from the bad times.

If you listen to the lyrics, you'll hear mentions of multiple women - it's fun to live vicariously through songs, it's like looking back at your life like it was a movie, adding that extra Hollywood spice to it. But at the end of the day, all the ladies in the song are just various incarnations of the same woman, real love.

I originally wrote it to a loop by my friend Goon Kid back in Geneva, and later on Tim Wagner of Dither Down fame made a whole new instrumental for it and gave it that 80s movie end credits vibe I love so much. It's just feel-good music to enjoy life to!"

On remix duty, Soul Clap transforms the tempo and vibe into a dance groove guaranteed to get the juices flowing like a glass of funky cold medina.

Quality Control is the second studio album from the alternative hip hop group Jurassic 5, and includes the title track and single 'Quality Control'

USM is proud to present HIP HOP HEROES, a campaign featuring both CD and Vinyl re-issues paying tribute to some of Hip Hop's greatest artists.

From the moment Run DMC released rap's first million selling album (King Of Rock) in 1985, Hip Hop had the world hooked. Outselling country music by 9 million copies in 1998, which saw sales increase by over a third for the genre from '97-'98, it has since gone on to be one of the biggest selling genres in music history. With the likes of DMX, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nelly, and 2Pac all selling copies in their tens of millions, Hip Hop culture became a game changer.

All vinyl titles use exact reproductions of the original LP artwork to retain authenticity, but now on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl.

Fredfades' & Ivan Ave's 'Breathe' EP is available on a limited edition 12'/LP of 250 copies with full colour artwork and inner-sleeves. The A-side contains 8 vocal tracks with Ivan Ave spitting heat. The B-side is made up of 9 Fredfades instrumental songs edited together to make a little show.

3.SIX DEGREES FT. DANNY BROWN (ACAPELLA)

Danny Brown is a true rap original. His songs are as profane as they are profound, mixing heartfelt personal narratives and razor-sharp social commentary with hedonistic party beats and hysterical, pitch-black punchlines. His latest opus, Old, is an emotionally-charged concept album mixing hip-hop grit with electronic club sonics and much, much more. Featuring guest spots from A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Freddie Gibbs, Purity Ring, Charli XCX, and more over production from the likes of A-Trak and Rustie, Old was universally praised on it's release by the Guardian, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NME, Mixmag, the New York Times and everywhere in between and it became a staple of 2013 Best Of lists.

Limited Edition (300 Worldwide!) red vinyl 12" with download card. Featuring Aloe Blacc, Om'Mas Keith (producer for Kanye West, Jay Z & Frank Ocean) and Warrior Queen.
'It's one of the toughest rhythms (Aloe Blacc) has lent his vocals to inrecent years, and the result is more than satisfying.' - FACT
The 'Everyday Grind' EP is the first release from Australian beats-man extraordinaire Dizz1 on his new label Tru Thoughts, a partnership announced in December 2013. Out 17th February on limited edition red vinyl and digital, the EP has been previewed by FACT magazine with a premiere of the title track featuring Aloe Blacc, who is just one of a handful of top vocalists to grace the package alongside Om'Mas Keith (Sa-Ra) and Warrior Queen.
The 12' release features the three vocal cuts - 'Everyday Grind feat. Aloe Blacc', 'Real Bad Gyal feat. Warrior Queen' and 'We Go Ridin' feat. Om'Mas Keith' (on which man-of-the-moment Keith follows up recent production credits for Jay-Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean with a stint in the vocal booth) - and an exclusive vinyl-only track, the deep instrumental hip hop of 'Mystify My Eye'.
Two remixes appear on the digital package (via the download card), reworking the originals for different but equally filthy club floors; fellow Australian Royalston (Hospital) gives his raw drum 'n' bass treatment to 'We Go Ridin' feat. Om'Mas Keith', and Stereotyp takes on 'RealBad Gyal feat. Warrior Queen' for a stripped and industrial dancehall banger. Instrumental and A Cappella versions ramp up the DJ fun on this already heavy release

Fresh from the success of the Soundsational album, Soundsci are back with the instrumentals from their album, which will also include instrumental versions of two new remixes from their upcoming Soundsci Styles b/w Coastin' Remixes 7in. single.

Inspired by songs from Mike James Kirkland's "Don't Sell Your Soul" anthology from his earlier days as part of "Mike And the Censations", the Soundsational album pays homage to the amazing source material that's been sampled, chopped and reconstructed while preserving the soul of the originals. The result are 10 songs that delve deep into Hip-hop's Golden Era with the boom-bap sound and soul samples combined to create an instant classic.

The Soundsational Instrumentals came about due to a massive demand for the instrumental counterpart of the album. With its well-produced beats, impeccable samples and overall production that scream 'Classic Hip-Hop', fans will not be disappointed.
